reminds you of being a kid. Or I don't know.
There's all those nostalgic scents that make us feel good,
even Elmer's glue. I had to use Elmer's glue the
(00:22):
other day. I was like, oh, yeah, I feel like
I'm back in third Yes, playdo Yes. I baked Calvin
those Pillsbury Bunny cookies with the bunny picture built in,
and the smell filled the house, and then he came
up and I felt like, here's my little boy again. Yes,
you can see it on Instagram, artificial Ellen Kay. And
(00:42):
he got so excited over the Bunny cookies, but also
the scent brought him up to.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
The kitchen, the boy joy.
Speaker 3 (00:50):
I'm ellan Kay, I'm Ryan Mano, I'm social Queen direlt.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
Today is National skipping Day. That is a feel good.
When is the last time you skipped here? On this day,
we tried to skip down the hall.
Speaker 3 (01:02):
I can't skip, That's right, I can't skip. You guys,
that's right.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
Can't we tried to take I don't.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
Know how to skip. I was an athlete growing up,
and I just skipped the skipping.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
Well, it's a National Skipping Day. It's a good day
to put a little skipping your step. It's also World
Theater Day. Ryan, you took in a show at the
theater the other day.
Speaker 4 (01:21):
I did opening night of spam a Loot. I'd never
seen Spamo Loot. It's won so many awards. And the
next morning she goes, why SPAMML I know, I was.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
I wasn't a haitous No. I was curious because I've
never heard you.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
Talk about like Monty Python.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
Yeah, I had never seen Spamlot and I feel like,
you know, how long is this thing going to go?
Speaker 3 (01:39):
I might as well get it while it's here, you know.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
And it was opening the night.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
Yeah, it was great.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
That's cool. It's a World Theater day as well. And
we had our iHeartRadio Music Awards last night and I
just love, love, love voicing shows, but especially this one
because it's all of our artists and they're they're just
all so sweet, and they're in the backstage tunnel and
we were in a side room with pipe and drape,
and it was a super quiet room, and but you
(02:05):
could hear them. We were right like as you go
in and off the stage, my little room was right there. Yeah.
So after every performance you could hear them celebrating, like
en Vogue and TLC and Salt and Peppa they were
they were like high fiving and hugging and kissing so
much so that the director in the in my headset
said get your door close. Yeah, like yeah, they just
(02:29):
they just did a great job killing on stage. So
that was It was just a night of celebrations, celebrating
great music and so many of our great artists. And
Taylor Swift brought Travis Kelsey. What a lovely man. Yeah,
and right, I know that you had a really great view,
a card's eye view of them.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
We were all right behind them, and I mean they
were handsy, very hand Taylor was was on her feet
almost the entire show, dancing, singing, supporting every single artist
that was on that stage.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
And I lived when Taylor was called up to the stage,
Travis was doing the football thing like, yeah, you know what,
he is her quarterback, even though he's a running back
or whatever, he is what he's a tight end.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
It's a tight end.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
Well, Taylor got up and this has gone viral.
Speaker 5 (03:10):
This this album probably also feels very happy and confident
and free, because that's the way that I get to
feel every single day of my life because of my
fiance who's.
Speaker 6 (03:21):
Here to.
Speaker 7 (03:31):
Thank God.
Speaker 8 (03:32):
It's thank God, It's time.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
This is so exciting. I can hardly contain myself. Disney
has done a deal with Taylor Swift. We knew that
another in talks with Taylor Swift for a major movie.
This will be a remake. It's the perfect role for
Taylor Swift and you'll find out what it is next.
Speaker 9 (04:00):

Speaker 1 (04:09):
ABC created a Streyssand effect by canceling The Bachelorette. Now
the Disney staff is trying to get a copy of
the bootleg version of Taylor Frankie Paul's Season. The Streysand
effect is the unintended amplification of something that's being hidden
or censored, and the term was coined when Barbara Streisand
went to great lengths to suppress the public release of
photos of her mansion here in Malibu. Anyway, everyone's trying
(04:33):
to get this bootleg. It's the only version anyone wants,
the most wanted video. Ever, the fact that it was
pulled makes it gold. So we'll see if it shows
up somewhere, you know where it shouldn't be, all right, Uh,
what about this? Savannah Guthrie has announced her return to
The Day Show. She's going to come back on April sixth,
(04:53):
So we will see more details of that as we
get closer, but that's pretty soon.
Speaker 4 (04:58):
That's going to be that's got to be hard for her, Yeah,
you know, with like just this hanging over her.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
She did a sit down and it ran on the
Today Show, her interview in parts yesterday and then again today,
So more details on that. Maybe she will make that announcement.
Bad Bunny is in discussions to join Tom Hanks in
a baseball theme film. The Comebacker is based on a book.
The movie will take place in New York with the
Baseball Mets. Netflix has the BTS documentary The Return, which
(05:24):
goes behind the scenes in the making of their album.
And that's going to be something that my sister Chris
will definitely be the first to see She probably everybody
has a copy. She's the biggest Yeah book, Chris, what'd
you pay for that? Okay?
Speaker 3 (05:39):
What about this?
Speaker 1 (05:39):
Jule Lipa will soon shoot a new movie for a
twenty four The movie is called Peaked and what about this?
Ryan Gosling is probably going to be number one again
with Project Hail Mary, and its second weekend leading the
box office could earn another forty five million dollars. Let's
talk about movies, shall we. Disney is in talks with
Taylor Swift. We knew that Disney locked her down with
(06:01):
a Disney deal, but now I love this Disney. Maybe
in talks of Taylor Swift is just a rumor for
a new remake of Mary Poppins. How cool would that be?
She's the perfect Mary Poppins. She signed on with Disney
to start and produce an undisclosed film some time ago.
Do you think Taylor would be great at singing this?
Speaker 10 (06:22):
A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down. The
medicine go down, medicine go down. Just a spoonful of
sugar helps the medicine go down in a most delightful way.
Speaker 9 (06:42):
Hi, this is Taylor swift right.

at the Chinese Theater and you're gonna be the first
to see who the Elk did it? Do you love
true crime like I do?
Speaker 7 (07:14):
I love your crime? And am I talking to Ellen?

you know, our boss walking, Yes, doing great?
Speaker 3 (08:08):
Okay, good Darlene, free food.
Speaker 6 (08:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
Sometimes the habit truck pulls up and we're like, wait,
what producer, groos, how about getting a raise?
Speaker 4 (08:20):
All great guesses, but not not it No, come on,
it's canceled meetings. Oh yeah, okay, and I love the
science behind this, you guys. So the pleasure rewards of
unexpected time off is tripled compared to plan time off.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
So canceled meetings and appointments creates what's called a contrast effect.
People mentally compare the windfall of their original expectations with
their new reality.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
It's like you hit a jackpos.
Speaker 13 (08:45):
I hit a jack.
Speaker 1 (08:46):
I hit at two o'clock today, it was a teams
meeting and it got moved, So.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
That little two o'clock thing was like lodged in the
and then my calendar.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
Now I'm gonna go and I'm going to delete it.
Speaker 4 (08:59):
Yes, Grant like we can't always, you know, control the
cancelation of the meeting. But listen, if you're a boss
and you want to do something incredible for your employees,
schedule a meeting with the intention of just kids.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
So happy to have yourmons.
Speaker 9 (09:12):

Top Stories, Top of the Hour, Good morning, I'm Ellen k.
Here on your Friday March twenty seventh, and Savannah Guthrie
will return to The Today Show on April sixth. She says, quote,
I can't not come back because it's my family. It's
hard to imagine doing it because it's such a place
of joy and lightness, and I can't come back and
try to be something that I'm not, she said. But
I cannot come back because it's my family. I think
(09:45):
it's part of my purpose right now. Again. You can
see more of Savannah Guthrie's first sit down since her mother,
Nancy disappeared, and that airs on the Today Show Today.

Adobe's capacity. So the show is moving and it's going
to get a little bigger show. Hey Otani opens his

gonna happen.
Speaker 1 (12:07):
Right Ryan, Thank you Dodgers again, going at it tonight.
Leave it to Ryan.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
I'm just saying, be realistic.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
I don't want to be realistic. I like to live
in my bubble, right all right, coming up, we're going
to send you to end sharing.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
It's so far.
Speaker 1 (12:24):
That's what we're gonna do with the game. It's the
Q and A and it happens in about twenty now.
We watch everything so you don't have to, and then
we bring you our picks every Friday. And I want
to start us off on Netflix. Something very bad is
going to happen. It's a horror mini series, all right.
The series follows and engaged couple whose wedding is derailed,
(12:46):
leading to a series of bizarre and unsettling events. The
show stars Camille let Morone. She is gorgeous, she's a
great actress. She dated Leo for a minute but then
they didn't work out. She's the Star and Jenna for
Jason Lee. It was released just today, so just dropped,
and it's received positive reviews for its atmosphere, acting, and
(13:09):
suspenseful plot.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
I love the title too.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
Yeah, that's on Netflix all right.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
I'm gonna be on Disney Plus.
Speaker 14 (13:19):
There's a really good, feel good, emotional emotion movie that
I like to tell. It's called Rental Family with Brendan Fraser.
I heard a lot about it when it came out
in theaters, and so I'm happy that I can just
lock in on a movie complete it this weekend.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
Stay home.
Speaker 14 (13:34):
It's about a guy who is a struggling actor. He's
in Tokyo, which is Brendan Fraser, and long story short,
he's lonely. He gets hired to be a part of
this family, but it starts feeling too real and it'll
leave you laughing and crying and thinking and appreciating. So
I'm gonna be watching that Rental Family on Disney Clubs.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
Love it awesome.
Speaker 15 (13:56):
I'm going back to Netflix. You guys know I love
my comedy. So this is a new comedy spy Mark Norman.
I really feel like this guy's the next great comedian
of our time.
Speaker 3 (14:04):
It's called none Too Pleased.
Speaker 15 (14:06):
I saw him a few weeks ago at the LaBrea
Improp and we couldn't stop laughing the entire time.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
He's good.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
He's quick witted.
Speaker 15 (14:12):
Think of Jerry Seinfeld with the Norman McDonald type of Yeah,
super clever, consistent, quick witted is just like quick, rapid
fire jokes Mark Norman. I just want to share him
with the world. So it's called none Too Please on Netflix.
Speaker 4 (14:27):
My pick this weekend isn't my pick. I don't have
one this weekend. But I asked our friend Alex Warren,
who you saw last night at the Yeah Yeah, I
heard Radio Music Awards.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
I said, what are you watching this weekend?
Speaker 4 (14:36):
And he asked me to relate to everyone that he
would like you to watch Peaky Blinders The Immortal Man.
Speaker 3 (14:41):
Okay, it's on Netflix. That's his favorite.
Speaker 4 (14:44):
He says, it's a continuation of the series, but it's
a movie. It's like an hour forty five minutes. You
got Killian Murphy Barry Kieogan and I looked it up.
It's got a ninety one on a Rotten Tomato.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
That's very good.
Speaker 3 (14:55):
So my pick this week I defer to Alex Warren.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
Okay, we're gonna start having celebrity picks. Yes, because it's
so what you're watching weekend watch.
Speaker 6 (15:05):
Watch it.
Speaker 1 (15:07):

every single day of my life because of my fiance
who's here.
Speaker 1 (15:36):

Speaker 16 (16:25):

Speaker 1 (16:27):
All right, well Joanne, welcome to the llen KQ and A.
Men spend forty five minutes less per day doing this
than women do.
Speaker 7 (16:34):
I'm hoping it's hair.
Speaker 6 (16:36):
Hair.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
That's a great guess because guys got it easy.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
Yeah, you know.
Speaker 4 (16:42):
I went to Floyd's to get a cut before the
iHeart Awards last night.
Speaker 3 (16:45):
I was in and out of there in twelve minutes.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
Oh no way, ye oh my gosh. It's a great
guest hair. It is not the right answer. Try again, Joanne.
Speaker 13 (16:54):
Okay, well, thank you, I have a great day.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
We go to Anna out of Blake, which she's on
the four oh five. Hi, Ann, are you going north south?
Is it moving south?
Speaker 12 (17:03):
And we are moving?
Speaker 8 (17:04):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (17:04):
Great? Okay, So you are in office supervisor, your boss, lady, what's.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
Your guest meeting?
Speaker 1 (17:10):
The menu reading a menu. That's so true. We'll sit
down and they'll take our drink coarter and then my
boys already know what they want, Ryan Calvin, They're like, yeah,
we're just gonna have a stake.
Speaker 3 (17:23):
You know why.
Speaker 1 (17:24):
I know why?
Speaker 4 (17:26):
For me personally, when I know where we're going, I
will look at that baby well in advance.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
Oh, you go to the menu online and then you
you've already picked out every dawn.
Speaker 3 (17:34):
Why, okay, you have forty five minutes to do that.
Speaker 1 (17:37):
Yeah, during your day that we don't reading the menu
is a really great guess. It is not the right answer,
and I'm so sorry trying. I have a great day.
Speaker 6 (17:50):
It's good. Uh.
Speaker 1 (17:50):
Ronda at a credit card processing company, Hi, Ronda.
Speaker 13 (17:54):
Hi, good morning everyone.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
Are you at work already?
Speaker 13 (17:57):
I'm almost there. I just pull over to the side
to have some coffee and then you know, call in
for the Q and A.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
My luck.
Speaker 1 (18:09):
All right, thanks for playing, Ronda. What do you think
it is men spending forty five minutes less per day
doing this than women.
Speaker 13 (18:15):
I think it's tours, like household tours in general, just
anything in the house, like sures, picking out the trap,
cleaning and picking up after the pet. Just anything, anything.
Speaker 1 (18:30):
Anything and everything chores. And you are right, it is chores, Ronda.
You're going to and sharing it so.
Speaker 13 (18:35):
Fineay, yay, oh my goodness, thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
Is there a real person in your life that you're
always picking up after or cleaning up after?
Speaker 13 (18:48):
Just the kittens. My husband is actually pretty good about
picking up after himself. So I'm very lucky.
Speaker 1 (18:56):
You know, it's a feel good Friday when your husband
puts the laundry in the washer.
Speaker 13 (19:04):
Yeah that if he had a washer, I'm sure he would,
but he's the actual he cooks and does all that stuff,
so I consider myself very lucky.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
Good will you take him with you to Ed Sharon.
Speaker 13 (19:18):
If he's lucky, that's awesome.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
Yeah. So men spend forty five minutes less per day
doing chores than women do. So we're doing all the.
Speaker 4 (19:29):
Work, but you also then spend like fifteen minutes telling
us how much work.
Speaker 12 (19:34):
Get.
Speaker 2 (19:36):

Lot of love at our iHeartRadio Music Awards, not only
between Taylor and Travis, but also other kinds of love,
Daddy daughter love. So John Mellencamp was up on stage.
He did a performance and he is the daddy of
(27:07):
Teddy Mellencamp. Well, Teddy Mellencamp, in case you don't know,
is suffering from cancer, pretty advanced cancer. So Teddy has
had a series of you know, surgeries, and she had
brain tumors. She had to have all the tumors taken out,
the tumors came back, she does it again. We're really
(27:28):
good friends. We dm you know, she's told me about
her chemo. It's been a really rocky road for Teddy Mellencamp.
But there she was last night looking phenomenal in a
silk gown to honor her dad. And she is so
close with her daddy, and you know, going through all
(27:51):
of that, he was right by her side the whole way.
So he won the Icon Award at our iHeartRadio Music Awards.
It was live on Fox. Teddy bravely got up there.
She's still, you know, struggling with her recovery. She's doing immunotherapy,
all kinds of things, I mean, the stuff she's put
her body through and the fight she's fighting, and she
(28:12):
shows up for her daddy.
Speaker 7 (28:14):
But for me longest days has been the song that
means the most.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
In it he sings, but nothing last forever.
Speaker 1 (28:23):
And so Teddy said that song got her through her
illness when she was sick and still continues to be
by her side, saved her life. It was really sweet.
Speaker 8 (28:35):
Kisses and hugs, Little duty about jagdar La.
Speaker 2 (29:00):

So Nickelback and Meghan the Stallion have come together to
announce the return of Flaming Hot Dill pickle Cheeto's Ryan,
this sounds like something right.
Speaker 3 (29:21):
Up your alley to me, give me all the pickles.
Speaker 1 (29:24):
Okay, So Meghan is urging her assistant to do it
and get her pickleback after hearing that the flavor was discontinued,
and the assistant thought she heard Meghan the Stallions say
she wanted Nickelback. She says, pickleback, my pickleback, but the assistant,
here's a nickelback. So the assistant goes to Nickelback and says,
will you do a duet with Meghan the Stallion? And
(29:45):
they're like, well, you know what, we've had weirder requests. Yeah. Sure,
well they agreed and here it is.

But bringing back the flaming pick come, Cheetos really want
to let the well know it's only because of rough.
