This just really hit home for me. I'm now forty eight,
but when I was two years old, my mom married
my first stepdad, and we have been close my whole
life ever since I was two, even after they divorced
when I was twenty. I see him once a month.
He lives in San Diego, like my second dad, so
I've always called him by his first name my whole life.

Until about five years ago, maybe maybe even before that,
I started to call him dad. And I think it's
because I didn't want to like offend my real dad,
because I love them both.

I feel like Dustin is fixated on it too, so

just can't get over that hump, and I think that
