It's Crossin and nephew Riley is obsessed with croissants and
for years, really since he's known what they are. They
My brother and his wife wrap a croissant under the
Christmas tree every year, just one cross nice favorite gift.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
That's so nice. And I've never seen them bigger. They
are huge. They're the size of a football, they really are,
I know, the size of a Grammy statue.
Speaker 4 (00:44):
What I love about croissants is that they're all like
they're each you have one croissant, every part of it
is different. You can go for the little harder end,
the flakes, you can get the really just soft dough
in the middle, whatever you want, it's there.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
Darlene and I do a thing. I take one end
takes together. We just pull and then it kind of
it unravels in front of you, and then it's just
so good. We're gonna have to get some from Portos
this morning. But we have your top three croissants in
Los Angeles and the number one comes out to mister
t our Friend, mister t oh yeah, yeah, Guillome. He

What about this weekly reporting that Timothy Shallo May has
talked with Kylie Jenner about proposing marriage. The couple is
dated for three years, they're finally public. It feels like
time to take the next step for Timothy. The Kardashians
call him Timmy tim met on their Pond Close podcasts,
(03:16):
and timoth Ay knows a good thing when he sees it.
If Kylie has picked up the tab on their dinner

shallon May has in the bank.
Speaker 5 (03:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
This month, the pair traveled by Kylie's private chet Ticabo.
A source revealed quote. Kylie covered everything, dinner, travel, the
whole experience. She genuinely loves spoiling her Timmy. So, Timothay,
you better put a ring on it.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
I don't know how I feel about Timmy.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
I don't like tim like it, mattheulates young enough already,
we don't need to add to tim Timothay. And also
it's spelled so French and cool. Yeah, Timothay shallow may.
But yeah, so I think he should put a ring
on a quick. General sales open today for Harry Styles

Everything he touches his gold.
Speaker 4 (04:43):
He did Yellowstone too.

know you, I would I wouldn't have given it much thought, right,
you don't think think about who that is. But look
like song of the Year this year? Okay, Dave Grohl

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Like Tiffany Martinez of lynn Wood called us half asleep.
She sets her alarm to us. She heard us say
call for two hundred dollars Albertson's because Vond's and Albertson's
are your one stop shop for big game essential. So Tiffany, congratulations,
thank you for making us your wake up. You got
that two hundred dollars, gift card, everything you need to

(07:01):
Gary Busey, he sits in his car makes videos.
Speaker 4 (07:05):
Now, yeah, that's his thing though.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
Yeah, well, he's having a feel good Friday. There's a word.
Speaker 7 (07:11):
It's very fun to say because you say it, you're
celebrating your part of your life.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
It just happened.
Speaker 4 (07:18):
And the word is yay y e a h or
y e a.
Speaker 5 (07:25):
It's no matter how long it is.
Speaker 7 (07:26):
It's a matter of the quickness of the exploration of
the experimentation with.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
The word yay yay ye. See, he's having a feel
good Friday. Yay yy okay kay.
Speaker 5 (07:43):
I see the L and K Morning Show. Thank you
so much. I love you guys.
Speaker 8 (07:47):
Thank you for coming with me to work every morning
and coming home.
Speaker 5 (07:50):
With me every evening Coast one three point five and
we are the L and.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
K Morning Show. We give you your happiness hacks. And
the other day, Ryan, you gave us one that was
all about Jack Black in the way he makes his
mac and cheese.
Speaker 4 (08:01):
It was the Jack Black mac hack.
Speaker 9 (08:03):
Here's what I do, and it's controversial. I take two
packets and I throw them away, some of them mac
and then because of a little extra cheesy and my
secret agreea tiny little squirt of heinz ketchup. It's like marinera.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
Huh. So I made your Jack Black mac and cheese
hack last night. I brought it in and look at
this tub of golden.
Speaker 4 (08:29):
You did the method.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
I did the method, so I used less mac and
more cheese, also more butter. So I'm waiting to share
this with you and we'll see if the Jack Black
hack is as good as he said.
Speaker 4 (08:42):
Did your husband try it?
Speaker 1 (08:44):
He did. What happened was I was cooking the noodles
and Calvin called FaceTime. So in our kitchen it's a
bad sell spot, so I had to run out of
the kitchen. I cooked the noodles too long. They're a
little mushy. I'm just saying up front, don't cook your
mac and cheese noodles too long. Jack Black didn't say
that part. Do you do this on purpose so that
(09:05):
we have to say, oh you always thought maybe I
have a new hat coming? Okay?
Speaker 4 (09:12):
If I told you that there's one thing you could
do right now, it costs you no money, you don't
have to go anywhere. You could lower your stress, improve
your mood, and have better overall well being.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
What would you say?
Speaker 4 (09:19):
Would you want that?
Speaker 1 (09:20):
Of course? But don't go yet. What I I just
want you to hear how heavy this is. Okakay, I'm
just gonna drop this right here in front of me. Listen,
Oh a brick.
Speaker 5 (09:31):
And geez, it's the L and K Morning Shell. That's
the only station that is allowed in our office.
Speaker 10 (09:36):
We want happy easy to keep everybody going throughout the day.
Speaker 1 (09:40):
We love you. Thank you not as much as we
love you.
Speaker 5 (09:42):
Coast one oh three point five and it does a
feel good Friday.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
Happiness hacks always make us feel good. Ryan, thank you
for bringing it every morning. I try on.
Speaker 4 (09:50):
I wasn't going to do a hangover hack, but I'm
gonna save that to next Friday for the super Bowl.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
Okay, because there's the Bridgerton hangover, which is the bangover, Yes,
but then there's a drinking hangover the cat.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
I'm just setting an early appointment that'll be next Friday. Okay, okay,
So today I thought, let's do something peaceful.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
Okay, Oh yeah, that'd be great.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
So there's a new study that found participants who walk
through parks and focus on the birds, not just like
don't think like, oh I'm outside, I must be hearing birds.
You have to think about the birds. Take your air
pods out, don't be on a call. Think about the birds.
The sound that the birds are making. You have lower stress,
improved mood, and better over well being. It's actually more
(10:28):
beneficial for your body than a lot of other things. Exercise,
I mean, just hearing the birds really improves your mood overall.
Slow down those birds, listen to nature sound. It's an
easy freeway to feel more peace.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
About those birds. Yeah, that's so beautiful. You know, when
we were on vacation, the house cleaning staff left a
little silk bird on my pillow.
Speaker 9 (10:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
Birds, but they're magical. I feel better good? Does I
feel good Friday? Well, now they're getting a little.
Speaker 6 (11:03):
Bess lk morning show host one three point five.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
Top Stories Top of the hour. Good Morning, I'm Ellen
k and journalist Don Lemon has been arrested here in
Los Angeles in connection with an anti immigration protest that's
disrupted a service at a Minnesota church. Lemon arrested by
federal agents. He'd been covering the Grammy Awards here in LA.
His attorneys said is unclear what charge or charges Lemon
is facing in the January eighteenth protest. The arrest came
(11:31):
after a magistrate judge last week rejected prosecutor's initial bid
to charge Lemon, and the US Senate says they've strucken
by partisan agreement to another government shutdown, which was going
to take it back tomorrow. Programs funded by the five
bill package will be covered through September. Always a positive
move and got a shout out. A police officer in
Orange being held a hero this morning for saving the
(11:51):
life of a seven month old girl who was choking
on a hairclip. Corporal Kates accompanied the family to the hospital.
When he arrived, that clip popped out after he performed
the Heimlich and the baby was breathing. Kate says he
was only doing his jobs.
Speaker 11 (12:04):
It's a little overwhelming.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
I feel like myself and any of my partners that
are out there were doing our job, and I don't
think anyone working here would have done anything differently.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
All right, well, Kate's way to go, and we salute
all first responders and all of our law enforcement for
just doing good all over the city. Hey, men are
spending more time and money on how they look skincare,
hair care, fitness, and grooming, even if they don't like
calling it beauty. Researchers say, modern men embracing routines that
go far beyond just shaving and showering. The twist is
(12:34):
many still avoid the word beauty, choosing terms like self
care or grooming. Experts say it shows attitudes are changing.
Men care about appearance more than ever, and the leaders
live right here in southern California. January, experiencing an unusually
warm trend here in LA. That high pressure system is
driving tempts twelve to eighteen degrees above normal. We're going
to go up to about eighty five today. But the
(12:55):
record on this day was ninety five degrees for the
high in nineteen seventy one. It's fifty five now in Burbank,
Kost Los Angeles. It's Coast one O three point five,
got cash on coast coming up, and your llen k
Q and A. We're gonna send you to Vegas, Jerry Seinfeld.
It's a fun weekend. Keep it here to win.
Speaker 5 (13:13):
It's the L and K Morning Show.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
So I love your show.
Speaker 5 (13:16):
I love listening.
Speaker 8 (13:17):
I take you on all my runs, all my walks,
and thanks for all the lasts and sit enjoy.
Speaker 5 (13:22):
Listen in Coast one oh three point five.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
We're in love with you and your feel goods here
and I feel good Friday coming up. More of your
cash on Coast and then we always play the game
around seven thirty L and KQ and A for Jerry
Seinfeld in Vegas. An entire weekend getaway. Oh also, did
I mention yet? I didn't mention yet. Next week we
have Harry Styles Flyaways to New York City. Yeah, we're
(13:45):
gonna send you there. So much fun to be had
on this feel good Friday. And it's also a watch.
Speaker 4 (13:52):
Watch it.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
Yeah, all right, I'm gonna kick it off because you
can watch this show almost everywhere Netflix, Amazon Prime starting
to stream it today. Is a Fox production. It's called
Memory of a Killer And when Fox bought this. They
didn't have to think about it. They're like, yes, we
want this series. They immediately cast Patrick Dempsey Mictory me
from Grey's Anatomy, but now he's shedding his sexiest man
(14:17):
aura and stepping into the shoes of a cold blooded hitman.
He's living a double life, so nobody knows that he's
this killer. He's a dad, right, but he's also having
memory problems, so it all starts to unravel on him.
He's experiencing early onset of Alzheimer's. There's one scene, and
this won't give it away, but he brings a lady
(14:39):
home and he has a gun, but he wants to
hide it in his safe, and he's putting it in
his safe and locking it up. He spends the night
with this lady and in the morning she's freaked out
and she leaves quickly because she opened his fridge. He
put the gun in the fridge. He thought he'd oh no,
he okay. So it's Memory of a Killer starring Patrick Dempsey.
(15:00):
Michael Imperially from Sopranos is also in this. It is
great casting, it's a great story. I really know you'll
love it. You can stream it almost everywhere in Netflix,
the Amazon Prime, Hulu, Go and Ryan.
Speaker 4 (15:11):
What do you guys shall I? Yes, it's out, Part
one of season four Bridgerton on Netflix. I know you
win in last night, Ellen, we went it last night?
Speaker 1 (15:21):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (15:22):
And what are your initial thoughts?
Speaker 3 (15:23):
Episode one, the Queen is ubsessed with you know, with
whistledown the whistle Will.
Speaker 4 (15:30):
So this season follows bohemian bachelor Benedict Bridgerton as he
avoids settling down, who, by the way, has a fondness
for group activities. I'll just leave it a back.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
Yes, yes, yeah, he's the last guy you'd ever want
to be with because he's been with everyone everyone, Yeah,
sometimes all at once. And then he has to tell
his mom, mom, don't worry, I'm careful. Yeah, oh wow.
Speaker 4 (15:50):
Yeah, and he said you're gonna be one of these women,
will be with child or whatever.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
Ye like, Benedict, you can't turn out, I know.
Speaker 4 (15:56):
And he hasn't been awake. He doesn't wake up till
afternoon every day. So this guy's just really it's a
party animals until though he falls for a mysterious lady
in silver at his mother's masquerade ball. I'm not going
to spoil anything. But when he finds out who she is,
where she's from, and why she has to be home
before midnight, things get complicated. Plus, Colin and Penelope are
back this season and.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
We meet their baby Cue. It's such a Cinderella story.
All he has is a glove and he's got to
find who does the glove belong exactly. And then Whistled
Down is kind of like the L and K Warning show,
like people get up and they read it to find
out what's going on. So we're your whistle Doown.
Speaker 4 (16:29):
And now that whistle Doown has been in passion revealed
in the impassion plea with the Queen, and now that
the queen's there, we're going to find out if and
how she continues to, you know, spill the tea of
the tongue.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
I've never seen a guy so indo.
Speaker 4 (16:38):
I love it, you guys, I'm so I'm addicted.
Speaker 1 (16:40):
I don't care who I might.
Speaker 8 (16:41):
Want to watch that.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
Yeah, Producer, Mike, what are you watching? I'm going to
Prime TV? My strange addiction.
Speaker 12 (16:45):
And that's exactly what this show delivers the guys. That
kicks off a brand new season, season seven with this
college student who likes to eat glue right out of
the glue gun.
Speaker 7 (16:54):
Okay.
Speaker 12 (16:54):
And then it follows Terry who enjoys eating a little
cardboard Okay, he wets it first and then he lets
it dry. Yeah, I gotta we And then it creates
like this crunchy consistency.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
Wait where we watch this?
Speaker 12 (17:06):
This is on Prime TV My Strange Addiction. I'm fascinated
by this, you guys. You know the purpose of the
shows for them to reveal to their families that they
have the strange addictions and overcome it hopefully. So you know,
it's interesting to watch that they get help and hopefully
overcome this stuff. But there's a man who has over
one hundred snakes and he showers with them. There's a
lady who likes to eat grass right from the source.
(17:27):
And that's just the very strange addictions, very strange addictions.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
I am addicted.
Speaker 12 (17:31):
It's called My Strange Addictions, Season seven. It's on Prime TV. Stark,
what you guys.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
I'm going to keep it real simple, guys.
Speaker 11 (17:38):
I have a matching little tequila bottle that I'm going
to be using watching the Grammys this Sunday. Next Sunday,
I'll save it for the Super Bowl.
Speaker 4 (17:45):
Yeah again.
Speaker 11 (17:46):
But it's music's biggest night, The Grammys on CBS five
pm starts here in La and I'm really going to
be looking for all the celebrities, Katsai Bieber to perform.
I'm excited about that. I'm really looking forward to seeing
this giant cheese. There's a cheddar cheese that is going
to be sculpted into a Grammy Award.
Speaker 4 (18:03):
You were there the other day and got to see
the cheese.
Speaker 11 (18:05):
Yes, and it's like six and thirty pounds or something
crazy like that. I took a picture with it.
Speaker 1 (18:09):
Yeah, it's the size of a washing machine they sculpted.
Speaker 4 (18:12):
Yeah, they're not doing ice sculptures anymore.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
They're doing cheese.
Speaker 4 (18:16):
So I'm going to be on the lookout this Sunday
for that awesome.
Speaker 1 (18:20):

My wife has given me flowers in the past, and

server was begging her boss for an extra shift. He
overheard it and tipped her one hundred dollars on a
twenty dollars tap. From then on, he never let her

do when they come in to when they leave.

and kindergarteners, so to have them come in as a
blank slate and then have them walk out of the
