K all Right, someone slid into a famous pop stars
DMS and it worked. USA men's hockey hero Jack Hughes
is officially dating Tate mcray and he did it by
sliding into her DMS and she responded, and now they
are a thing.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
Kind of bubbled under last.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
Year and there were rumblings and rumors, but now they
are official. Tate McGray spotted attending one of Hugh hockey
games and the two were later seen spending time together
in New York City. So what began as a casual
kind of thing is now serious and they're exclusive. And
Jack Hughes said that he is going to get his
broken teeth fixed. He's just waiting a little bit, but
(02:00):
he's not gonna keep going through life.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
Like that, all right.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
The kitchen drama The Bear is ending with its upcoming
fifth season on FX and Hulu. Season five expected to
premier later this year, and we'll serve as the final
chapter for the series. The decision to end the show
now reportedly comes from the creative team, wanting to finish
the story well at its peak, rather than stretching it
out for more seasons. Jamie Lee Curtis was on The
Red Carpet. She plays the mother of the bear, and
(02:27):
she kind of said it and someone said, wait, is
that official? And then she said, oh, I thought everybody
knew WHOA.
Speaker 5 (02:33):
Now we do.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
And Hopper's debuts with a ninety eight percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

past decade.

Speaker 5 (04:00):
Nerve is what regulates your stress.
Speaker 7 (04:03):
It's responsible for stress, but it's also very closely tied
to your throat. Okay, So if your vegus nerve is
disregulated and push to the brink and very very stress,
you will not be able to swallow three consecutive times,

Top Stories Top of the Hour, Good Morning of Ellen
k and Savannah Guthrie has returned to the Today Show
studio for the first time since her mom, Nancy Guthrie,
was kidnapped from her bed in the middle of the
night more than a month ago. TMZ has learned that
Savannah could be seen hugging staff and crew through the
iconic window of Studio one A at Rockefeller Center this
morning in New York City. She was emotional while speaking
(05:15):
to the assembled crew. Savannah has not announced when or
if she will be back at the anchor desk at today,
but we're told the crew would welcome her back with
open arms whenever she feels ready. So let's talk about
DNA inside a glove found near Nancy Guthrie's home.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
It's been traced to a person.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Initial report suggested the glove appeared to be the type
worn by the suspect in surveillance videos. Pima County Sheriff
Chris Nano said, quote, we found the owner of the
glove working at a restaurant across the street. Therefore, the
gloves are ruled out as evidence. There were a few
of them found, so that one didn't go anywhere. But
Nano says they are still on it.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
It could be a lead to Walmart, it could be
a lead to a gun shop. It could be a
lead on anything.
Speaker 4 (05:57):
DNA.

Would they chase it down?

Speaker 10 (12:37):
My guess is eat hot dogs?
Speaker 1 (12:40):
Eat hot dogs. So what led you to guess that?
Speaker 10 (12:44):
Because every time you get out of your car, you're
coming out of a concert, You're coming out of a
lot of places. You smell hot dogs on the streets
and it's mufled good everywhere.

Speaker 7 (13:43):
It's a game changer when they started taking Zell and
Venmo and apple Pen used to be cash up until

Speaker 8 (14:07):
You guys are my morning Happiness Coast.
Speaker 4 (14:10):
One oh three point five Top stories the top of
the hour.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
Hey there, I'm Ellen K.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
And United Airlines cracking down on a growing in flight issue,
passengers not wearing headphones. We've all been there, hearing loud
and proud what someone else's streaming. United says, enough is enough.
Anyone caught blasting their devices can be removed from flights
and banned from future United travel. They are not messing around.
And one of college football's most revered coaches has sadly
(14:37):
passed away, Lou Holtz, leaving us at the age of
eighty nine. Best known for leading Notre Dame to the
national title in eighty eight, Holts went on to spend
a decade as an outspoken analyst at ESPN.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
Lou's story is super special.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
He grew up in the forties as a kid with
dreams of one day coaching the Irish, which he did,
and all because he listened to every game in bed
on his transistor radio easy coach and a lot of
American teenagers aren't getting enough sleep.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
It's getting worse.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
Research researchers looking at National survey data and found that
many teens are only sleeping six to seven hours a night,
that is below They recommended eight hours or more for
healthy development. Even more concerning, more than half of teen's
now report getting less than five hours of sleep on
some nights. And if you haven't done it yet, fun
fact if you go to Google and type it in
(15:25):
type in six seven, watch what happens to your screens?
Speaker 2 (15:29):
Good and let's go to camel Kahn.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
Another camel beauty contest in the Middle East has been
hit with an ugly cheating scandal, again tainting this very
popular event. The latest scandal put a stain on this
year's festival in Oman, where twenty camels were disqualified for
using botox, lip fillers, silicone implants, even artificially inflated humps.
Cheating has been a big problem over the years at
(15:53):
these contests, which offer big prize money for the best
looking camels. Judges a breeders use botox to relax the
facial muscle of the camel. Lip fillers to plump the mouth,
silicone implants to reshape noses, and then they also use
growth horming moans to a boost the size of humps.
A similar scandal occurred five years ago where forty three
camels were disqualified for cheating. I mean, it's not the
(16:15):
camel's fault, but yeah, their owners did. And there's a
boss instituting a new policy. Each time an employee is
one minute late, they lose a sick day. So be
happy for your boss, because that's probably not happening. But yeah,
there was a boss to put on a little notice.
This happened in the Midwest and said, hey, every time
you're one minute late, I'm taking a sick day that
(16:36):
has gone viral. And windsor whipping today advisories and play
sunny stellar highs of seventy five. This wind advisory should
end around noontime today. But it's a low pressure swirl.
Glendale seventy five your high Glendora. You'll see seventy at
it's sixty two in Burbank Kost, Los Angeles Coast, one
of three point five. Coming up your one thousand dollars
(16:58):
with John Legend all of me.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
That's what you're listening for to get your cash.
Speaker 9 (17:03):
It's ellen K Morningshell, listening to you guys on my
ride in there and you feel good, hats and just
your energy.
Speaker 5 (17:09):
It's nice to have good energy in this world.
Speaker 3 (17:11):
So keep being new.
Speaker 4 (17:13):
Post one oh three point five big hour.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
Eight o'clock hour, and we've got your money all of me,
John Legend, You're ellen K one kpayday. The second we
begin that song, just call us B Caller twenty. You
get one thousand dollars. John writing that along with another songwriter,
Toby Gadd at the piano. So we'll give you that
song story coming up. But first it's Divorce and Don
(17:35):
on therapy Thursday. Don cannot find happiness. She's been divorcing,
so we call her divorce and Don. Well, she calls
herself that too. And here on therapy Thursday with our
therapist Sarah Dash, Don left us this talkback.
Speaker 8 (17:49):
Hi. Yeah, I've been spending all this money on matchmakers
and they're either too tall, too short, too skinny, too fat,
too harry, not enough hair. It may be am I
beaten too picky. I have been married three times already.
Speaker 1 (18:06):
Okay, that's divorcing Don. Now you are Sarah dash LMFT.
So that's licensed marriage and family therapist. Yes, so you've
probably seen people like don before who are never happy.
Speaker 9 (18:18):
Well, it's interesting because she's self reporting basically that she's
too picky. I'm really curious about the fact that she
has been married three times so she can find what
she deems to be an acceptable partner.
Speaker 5 (18:32):
It's not never happened.
Speaker 2 (18:35):
So three times there was someone who checked her box.
Speaker 9 (18:38):
Absolutely, I mean like really checked her boxes.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
Checkter box is enough to walk down the aisle.
Speaker 9 (18:42):
What comes to mind is that maybe because she had
these three marriages which didn't work out, she's very afraid
of making another mistake. Somebody tells me they've had a
lot of marriages. I think it actually says a lot
of very positive things.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
Oh okay, yeah, wait so but how is that possible?
If the marriage is ended and it wasn't death or
something like that, then that's a failed marriage. But why
would that also be successful.
Speaker 9 (19:08):
When somebody is willing to walk down the aisle more
than once, more than twice, they tend to be really optimistic. Oh,
they have a willingness to commit, they form attachments, and
they also have a capacity to walk away. When it's
not working. These are not necessarily bad things at all.
Speaker 7 (19:27):
Okay, Sarah, have you are you familiar with that show
on Netflix, Love is Blind? Yes?
Speaker 5 (19:32):
What do you think of that experiment?
Speaker 9 (19:33):
I think it's a pretty fascinating experiment.
Speaker 7 (19:36):
And the reason that I ask is because all of
the things that Don said are physical too tall, too short,
to harry, too bald, too.
Speaker 5 (19:42):
Ugly, too.
Speaker 7 (19:43):
So all of these things that she's stacking up are
the things that she doesn't like with her aunts.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
Right, it's all surface based.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
Yeah, so she needs don needs to go deep within herself.
Speaker 2 (19:54):
I would think, I think that's really pretty fair.
Speaker 9 (19:57):
Before if they are all superficial rejections or rejections based
on superficial traits, she may want to look inward and
try to figure out why those hold such.
Speaker 5 (20:07):
Value to her.
Speaker 7 (20:10):
And by the way, yes, I would love to hear
what these guys have to say about down so true.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
Yeah, if you are like divorcing Don or you've been
with a woman like that who has had multiple chances
of loved it didn't work out of give us a
caller and therapy Thursday.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
It's eight hundred and ninety nine kost host.
Speaker 4 (20:32):
One of three point five The ellen K Morning Show.
Follow at official ellen K I.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
Love therapy and Therapy.
Speaker 1 (20:38):
Thursday our license therapist Sarah Dash tackling your troubles and
it was all about divorcing Don.
Speaker 2 (20:45):
She's been married three times but also.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
Divorced three times and with three failed marriages. Don is
looking in the mirror saying, isn't me.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
Have I two pickies? Too tall, too short, too harry,
to this.
Speaker 7 (20:57):
To that, and she's thousands of dollars in the whole matchmaking.
Speaker 5 (21:01):
Nothing's working.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
So do you give it up?
Speaker 1 (21:04):
I don't know, but let's go to Anthony. So, Anthony,
thank you so much. You called us right away. You
relate to divorce and Don. You're also super picky. What
are you looking for?
Speaker 6 (21:18):
I want somebody that looks obviously pretty and in shape
because I've been a bodybuilder since I was eighteen years old.
Speaker 1 (21:28):
Oh okay, So you were looking for the right combination
of beauty and fitness.
Speaker 6 (21:34):
Yeah, and of course a good personality.
Speaker 2 (21:37):
But what came first?
Speaker 6 (21:41):
Well, the girl that I ended up getting stuck with haha,
she was very pretty. Of course, you looked like she
was in pretty good shade and stuff like that, so
that even that's how it worked.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
Okay, you hang on, Anthony, She's wanting to get a
little more.
Speaker 5 (22:02):
Did you say what I think you?
Speaker 6 (22:04):
Sir?
Speaker 5 (22:06):
Good luck?
