Speaker 1 (02:12):
Now that the wedding has happened, Taylor and Travis are
reportedly looking for a new home in New York City.
Taylor already owns a really sweet place in Soho, but
they want a fresh start and a home that's both
of theirs equally, so they are in the market. Also,
sources denied swirling rumors that Taylor Swift intends to monetize
her wedding video. Attendees were warned that photography and video

(02:33):
was taken throughout last week's ceremony.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Many Swifties speculated that Taylor.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Would turn it into a documentary, but it's just not
going to happen, and Taylor Swift has another reason to celebrate.
This week, a judge dismissed a plagiarism lawsuit brought by
a poet. Taylor's legal team representing an inductee to the
Songwriter's Hall of Fame.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Called the copyright lawsuit absurd.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
US District Judge Eileen Cannon agreed and ruled against Kimberly Morosco.
She had submitted a dozen of her poem that she
thought were overly similar to Taylor's writings.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Interesting, so that was tossed.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
Did you guys see the story that they may have
already gotten a dog?

Speaker 6 (03:09):
No?

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Oh, yeah, no, I hope So the Taylor's first dog
traves a dog?

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Guy, I hope they did.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
There's a little white dog that's appeared and it got
out of a vehicle at Madison Square and then someone
said this dog was in another video of Travis and Taylor's.
I think that's their dog.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Oh that's awesome. Do we know its name or sex?

Speaker 7 (03:27):
We don't know.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Okay, oh that's so cool.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Well. Panera Bread is giving away free sourdough loaves and
celebration of famous Soward baker Taylor Swift marrying Travis this Thursday,
soet coming up. Participating Panera cafes nationwide will distribute exactly
thirteen loaves on a first come basis, so.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
You got to get there early and get your loaf.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
And the latest Madonna album, Confessions Too, is on pace
to move one hundred thousand copies in its first week,
not too shabby. Also, there's Grammy chatter about that as well,
and I love this. Ashley Tisdale is developing a toxic
mom's comedy series, so Art Imitates Life.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
She's going to executive produce a.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Netflix comedy series based on her experience with a toxic
mom group. In January, as you will remember, Tisdale wrote
how she was banished from a mom group that included
Hillary Duff, Mandy Moore, and Meghan Trainer. They excluded her
from group activities. Ashley got the message and wrote the
essay breaking up with My Toxic Mom group and now
it's going to be a comedy series.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
It's sojie. I mean, it wrote itself. So good.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Harry Styles way to go. Setting a new Wembley World record.
He made history his twelve show residency there just wrapped up.
Guinness World Records has officially named it the longest residency
ever buy a musician at Wembley, beating out Coldplay's previous
record of ten shows. So yeah, Harry went twelve shows.
One of them he did with his zipper down the
entire night and he didn't notice. So one of the

(04:52):
fans was he leaned over like he sobbed at the end,
noticed and got his attention and pointed.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
To his I got to tell you something. I'm just
gonna admit this. As I get older, I find this
happens to me frequently.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
You're supper down, Yes, what is that?

Speaker 3 (05:07):
I don't know?

Speaker 2 (05:08):
No, I don't know man at all.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
I'm constantly just pulling that baby out.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
I don't know what.

Speaker 7 (05:14):
Are you just in a hurry?

Speaker 1 (05:15):
I don't know, Ellen, I can't I wonder if that's
Adam Levine's problem.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
He was.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
He was down on all fours on stage, but it
was for a really good reason. He wanted to kiss
his daughter, who was stage side, so he got down
on his belly and then his wife lifted her up
and he gave her a kiss, and the entire audience
was like oh. And Adam said, his biggest joy now
performing is looking out and seeing his kids.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
So that's so cute. Adam was here not too long ago.

Speaker 8 (05:44):
Well, the only thing you can't do, I think when
you get to our age early forties. I mean, look,
this is just a personal thing. Maybe maybe I don't
want to speak on behalf of all of everyone, but
uh maybe stay away from the tight pants. I feel
like maybe we need to give those up.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
It's the Ellen k Morning Show.

Speaker 9 (05:59):
I love you guys so much.

Speaker 7 (06:00):
Every day I listen.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
To you and you make us laugh and make us cry.

Speaker 9 (06:03):
You guys are amazing.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Coast one O three point bot say happiness, hack attack, Yes,
let's get.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
Happy, Gabor notice, Ellen, Dar Mike, everyone with us this morning.
How your brain seems to get louder the longer you think,
The longer you sit there thinking, It's like it doesn't.
It just gets louder. Your thoughts get louder. It's like
everything snowballs.

Speaker 10 (06:23):
Right.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
If you're anxious about something, Yeah, so today's hack. If
you want to calm your mind, I love this. Wear
out your body instead. It doesn't start in your mind.
It's all about your body. New research finds when we're
anxious or stuck in a thought loop, the answer is
not more thinking, it's movement.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
You know this is so smart because I didn't even
know that the science was at play. When Calvin was
on the high school football team at Loyola and the
coach used to say before the games, jump up and
down because the adrenaline could be overwhelming, especially before a
big game. So the coach used to make them jump
up and down to you know, get their bodies.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Their wiggles out, yes and signs finds that that's actually true.
They have confirmed that even ten minutes of movement gives
all of that restless energy somewhere else to go, rather
than just around and round in our brain. So go
for a walk, I don't know, lift some weights, ride
your bike, whatever. And the cool part exercise doesn't just
distract you, it helps pull your brain back into the present.
So instead of replaying the past or worrying about the future,

(07:21):
if your thoughts are running a marathon today, maybe you
should too.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
And Roy take out the trash for Ellen. It's good
for Please.

Speaker 5 (07:27):
See the ellen K Morning Show. Follow us at Coast
one oh three five dot com.

Speaker 1 (07:33):

Speaker 2 (08:17):
Heroes on four legs.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Our local rescue dogs are helping search for survivors in
the wake of those devastating quakes, the department honoring them
with medals of honor, and also Microsoft putting the X
and Xbox. The company cutting forty eight hundred jobs this week,
with the majority at their video game division. These layoffs
accounting for two percent of the global workforce. Microsoft CEO
says straight up, our business today is not healthy. We

(08:39):
need to go more AI and get away from the
gaming and the thrilling in late night at the revene
in our first place. Dodger is going eleven innings with
the Rockies until something happened with Dalton Rushing.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
You walked it off. Rushing swings HiT's a ground ball that's.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
Throwing the center Dodgers. When Dalkon Russian walks it off
eight seven O, the Dodgers win.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
There are sixtyth game of the season. Oh yeah, the
first too. Reach those sixty wins.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
And we have some extreme heat warnings in place today,
so be careful attempts in the upper nineties. We might
even go triple dig just by tomorrow. Downy eighty five
year high DeVore, you go to ninety five and it
is sixty five in Burbank Kost, Los Angeles. It's Coast

Speaker 2 (09:57):
It's a Dior show. And then j Lo went there.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
So a lot of people did the wedding in New
York for Travis and Taylor, and then they bounced over
to Paris for.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
This big deal show.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
Yeah, and then also for today, it would be great
to have this. They debuted in air conditioned tracksuit nice
so it blows you up, so you look like Violet
from Willy Wonka.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
But how effective is that? Was?

Speaker 1 (10:21):
We hit triple digits possibly today Ryan and I were
in the valley yesterday we're making some videos and we
were here in Teluca Woods.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
Yeah, and it was ninety I think it was ninety degrees.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
And Ellen and I were trying to redirect some of
the concepts of the videos, being like this would work
better inside now.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Outside all day?

Speaker 1 (10:44):
Oh boy, So get ready for the heat. Their heat
warnings and places as well. We just want you to
be aware. But yeah, keep your talkbacks coming. It's entire weekend,
it's in Vegas. It's our iHeartRadio Music Festival.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
We just want to give it to you.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
We want to get you there just to have fun
and take your mind off everything. So two night hotels,
stay tickets to tickets for both nights of the shows,
and then also gas card for the road.

Speaker 2 (11:06):

Speaker 11 (11:08):
Hi.

Speaker 12 (11:08):
I'm Brooke from Sampedro And besides being forty seven and
still never being to Vegas, I know that's so crazy
to hear, right, But I'm also a hospice and dementia
care provider, so I have a very serious job. So
I think I deserve a break. And what better place
than iHeart Festival. You relax, listen to good music.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
I want to go Brook never been to Vegas. Thank
you for that talk back.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
And that is a serious job that you're doing and
a lot of emotions. So it would be really great
to see you and Benson Boone and Weezer just letting
loose release.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
Yeah, yes, all that. Yeah, that would be so cool.
She's a Vegas virgin, she's never done Yeah. Okay, let's
go to Vincent.

Speaker 9 (11:56):
Hey, good morning Allen. Vincent. Here a question for you.
Celebrating the weekend with some friends. We got a cabana
over at the Marongo Pool and we were using my
card to pay for the day and my friends had
a really fun time ordering a bunch of food and drinks,
and when the end of the day came, they didn't
end up offering to pay. And I'm in a little

(12:17):
bit of a pickle here. I'm curious what should I do?
Should I ask them or I would love your advice,
love the show and would love.

Speaker 10 (12:24):
To hear from you.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Oh, Vincent, Wow, Okay, has ever has anyone ever been
stuck like that?

Speaker 10 (12:29):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (12:30):
Yeah, yes, all the time. You put your card all
the time.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
Yeah, people, my friends specially, they think I'm in radio.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
I have money. No, it doesn't work like that put
your card down? Can you tell them you have twins
in school?

Speaker 1 (12:43):
You put your card down, your friends have fun on
your card, and then.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
You're left with the bill. This happens to Seacrest all
of the time.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
I don't feel so bad. It should happen.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
You should be pad.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
Remember when night we were at the sushi bar and
then all this his friends are gona be at the
club across the street, and I said, every going? And
he said, well, I got to decide if I want
to pay for bottle service or because every time I
go to the club with my friends, it's my card. Yeah,
so does it happen to you? It happened to Vincent? Well,

(13:17):
so what does he do? How does he tell the friends?
I wouldn't think it'd be too hard.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
I mean, first of all, I don't you don't ever
like loan money. You don't expect to give back, and
that's what that is. That's a loan, right, you don't
you know what.

Speaker 2 (13:29):
You putting your card down.

Speaker 4 (13:31):
He sounds like a young guy too.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
When you put your card down like that, you're saying
I'm a hosting.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
I mean, okay, maybe I wouldn't beg for it, but
I'd also remember I would remember or okay, or or
he sends a group chat and says, hey, guys, morongo
total came out to Yeah, screenshow venmo or Zelle whenever?
Thank you.

Speaker 6 (13:51):
Oh yeah, that's a good idea.

Speaker 4 (13:53):
Okay, some people feel like we're doing that, but I.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
Agree it's non combative. It's not you know, it's not.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
So I wonder with that total, I know, I know.

Speaker 3 (14:03):
He left his number.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
We should we should get it stuck with the vilves quick.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
Oh it's the I mean that would be one hundreds
of dollars. I would say, well over one thousand. If
it's multiple dudes all day drinking and eating in a pool.
Come on, that's that's a four figure amount.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
Food and booze. Let's go Vincent.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
All right, it's eight hundred and ninety nine kost What
should Vincent do? Let us know about that, and keep

Speaker 1 (15:48):
All right, Well, Ronda's happy, she's an Irvine. She's got
a guess. Thirty percent of adults say this makes them
question their relationship.

Speaker 6 (15:57):
I'm guessing it's their partners driving.

Speaker 7 (16:02):
That's pretty extreme.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
But it's a good guess. It's a unique guess, Ronda.
It is not the right answer.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
Oh well man, that's okay.

Speaker 6 (16:12):
That's okay.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
Okay, what's your guest?

Speaker 2 (17:16):
Diane, I'm gonna say, shutting down, be quiet, silent treatment.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
What a great guess, because if that starts to happen,
there is something going on. Thirty percent of adults say
this makes them question their relationship.

Speaker 2 (17:32):
It is not the silent treatment or shutting down.

Speaker 7 (17:34):
But thank you so much and have a great day.

Thirty percent of adults saying this makes them question their relationship.

Speaker 9 (18:00):
To go with your good old fashioned gut feeling, just
a gut feeling on.

Speaker 1 (18:04):
It, gut feeling. You gotta listen to that. You are
absolutely right, you're going to journey. It's a gut feeling.

Thirty percent of all adults say that it's a gut
feeling that makes them question their relationship.

Speaker 3 (18:28):
And it doesn't always have to be our own gut feeling,
your mother, If I'm not mistaken before you found Roy. Yes,
you brought Roy home. I forgot what he did for work.
You took this guy home, she met, she met him, Yeah,
and she pulled a hide.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
She said, he makes the hair on the back of
my Next stand up, What.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
Are you doing.

Speaker 3 (18:48):
Next?

Speaker 7 (18:49):
Run a strong gut feeling.

Speaker 4 (18:52):
It's the morning show.

Speaker 3 (18:55):
Drop it drop its.

Speaker 4 (18:58):
Pointy top stories, top of the hour.

Speaker 1 (19:01):
Here on your Tuesday. It is seven to seven July seventh,
and I'm ellen k. Thousands are packing the streets right
now Pamplona for the annual running of the Bulls. The
century's old tradition is part of the Festival of San Ferman,
the town's patron saint. Today's day one, several bulls weighing
more than thirteen hundred pounds will be let loose through
the narrow streets of the Old Quarter behind hundreds of

(19:23):
people who will run for safety. Not everyone makes it,
several or injured. Every year, sixteen people have been killed
over the last one hundred years, and the bulls will
run each morning through July fourteenth. Never forget getting the
call from my son Calvin.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
After he ran with the bulls.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
He didn't tell me before he waited and told me
after thank you God for keeping him safe. And Jackie
Tranquil is the wife of Kansas City Chief's linebacker Drew Tranquil.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
She clearly has good karma.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
Jackie, who along Withdrew, attended Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift
Starry wedding at Madison Square Garden, was the lucky winner
of a Chanel handbag raffled off as part of the
night's festivities. They had Cardier watches and car and Jackie
got the seven thousand dollars Chanel twenty five small handbag
with grained calfskin and gold tone metal retails for a

(20:08):
lot of money.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
And Jackie walked away she won that raffle.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
And if you've ever wanted to compliment a stranger but
you talked yourself out of it, you're not alone. According
to research, people tend to underestimate how much a kind
word will mean to someone else and overestimate.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
How awkward it'll feel to say it. Said.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
He's found that recipients feel happier and more appreciated than
compliment givers expect even better the person giving it gets
a boost too, So Reachard says compliments can improve the
well being of both the giver and receiver. So if
you like someone's outfit, their smile, or their work, go
ahead say so. Your small act of kindness may have
a bigger impact than you think. And we have some
extreme heat warnings in place today, tempts in the upper nineties.

(20:46):
We may go triple digits by tomorrow. Right now, it's
sixty eight in Burbank. It's going to rise fast. It's
kost Los Angeles Coast one of three point five. So
let's cool down a bit, raging Water's four packs on
the way and talk back Tuesday. We're going to send
you to our festival in Vegas. It's a whole weekend
for you. Keep those talkbacks coming.

Speaker 4 (21:05):
It's the ellen K Morning Show.

Speaker 8 (21:06):
I grew up listening to Ellen.

Speaker 6 (21:08):
I will be listening to you to the day.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
I guy, thank you so much, you guys.

Speaker 6 (21:12):
For being you guys.

Speaker 4 (21:13):
Coast one oh three point.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
Fo Stephen Tyler at the hair salon the other day,
I was like, wait.

Speaker 7 (21:18):
A minute, Stephen Tyler's here.

Speaker 1 (21:22):
Shout out to you, mister Tyler, and it's Coast one
o three point five with the ellen K Morning Show.
It's talk Back Tuesday. Your talkbacks are a thing of beauty.
We love them, and we love the microphone on the
iHeart app. It's so easy to get through to our studio.
It's instant connection, which is everything. So just tap that
mic you're automatically entered to win an entire weekend in Vegas.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
And we're concerned for Vincent. He left us this.

Speaker 9 (21:49):
Hey, good morning, Ellen, Vincent. Here a question for you.
I was celebrating the weekend with some friends. We got
a cabana over at the Marongo Pool and we were
using my card to pay for the day, and my
friends had a really fun time ordering a bunch of
food and drinks. And when the end of the day came,
they didn't end up offering to pay. And I'm in

(22:10):
a little bit of a pickle here. I'm curious what
should I do? Should I ask them? Or I would
love your advice, love the show and would love to
hear from you.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
All right, Vincent, Well, first of all, great taste for
posting up at Moronco. Yes, because that lazy river and
those cabanas are the best. And then your buddies are
there and you put your credit card down, and then
the end of the day comes and everybody leaves Vincent
with the bill.

Speaker 3 (22:35):
Is that mindful?

Speaker 2 (22:36):
Do you think?

Speaker 3 (22:37):
I mean, is that an accident or do they just
are you? Maybe you've had too much to drink and
you're not thinking.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
Oh, it could be a lot of things. And maybe
Vincent didn't say anything because he wanted to be a baller.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
That could be true.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
Also, Vincent could have gone inside and won a ton
of money because Marongo's easy to wints. Those are great slots,
so he could recoup that. But yeah, he's feeling I
think he's feeling bad. Taking advantage of is what I
hear in his voice. You ever been taken advantage of
by your buddies, your friends? And then not a word?

(23:11):
So let's go to Lehabra. Jason, what do you think
Vincent should do about this?

Speaker 6 (23:18):
I think either way is kind of a lesson learned.
If he chooses to say nothing and he can see
how his friends will react like, oh okay, nobody says
anything about it, then maybe not do that again. And
then if he can't really afford to do that, then
he should do like a group text to say, hey guys,
though you know, we all had a great time and

(23:39):
I didn't have any idea it was going to cost
us much? Can anybody please help me out? And depending
on his friend's reactions, could also be another lesson.

Speaker 1 (23:48):
Oh okay, yeah, it's kind of a test both ways. Yeah,
it seems so simple to just be able to say something,
but then again.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
You don't want like maybe.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
There's pride there or you know, there's sure a lot
of different things happening. So but yeah, lesson learned last time,
he's probably gonna put his card down.

Speaker 6 (24:10):
Sure. Well yeah, I mean, if I thought I was saying,
if he could afford it, okay, great, no problem. But
if he cared afford it, that's still a kind of
a test to see the like character of his friends,
you know, if nobody says anything about it at all,
like okay, well, you know, maybe don't do that again.

Speaker 1 (24:30):
Yeah, when I dragged Seacrest to the club because all
his friends were there, we walked through the door and
he said to me, this is going to cost me
three grand.

Speaker 3 (24:40):
At least he knew going in.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
Yep, that's my cover charge because that's going to be
the bottle service.

Speaker 6 (24:48):
Okay, he probably did do that, all right.

Speaker 2 (24:53):
Well, thanks so much, Jason, have a great day, my pleasure.

Speaker 6 (24:56):

makes us all happier in my family.

Speaker 1 (31:18):
You know, we just had a study that came out
about giving a compliment to a stranger, not that we're strangers,
we're friends, but still, Ella, that was really nice, Like
we'll hold back because we don't know the person, but
you're supposed to just go with it, just say it
and it makes everyone feel good.
