Speaker 1 (00:01):
Just aheads up. There's a big water main break flooding
a West Hollywood neighborhood, think Holloway and Sunset. This is huge,
major flooding and we need to call our friend Hannah
who lives in the neighborhood up and say we should
probably already up and say your car might be floating away.
So just if you are heading over to Hollywood, just

(00:22):
be aware of this. Cars are literally being dragged down
the street with this flooding water main.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Break, and it looks like it's getting into garages now
like underground.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Yes, how do you stop a water main break?

Speaker 1 (00:34):
I know, can't we turn off the water?

Speaker 2 (00:36):
You would think if anyone listening knows how to stop
a water main break?

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Goshing like crazy? All right, so just be aware of that.
We don't want she gets caught up. We don't want
you to float away, all right. So I'm wearing my
messy jersey today. I'm ellen K. I want to thank
my husband forgetting this for me. He you know what,
he just had a feeling and he bought this messy
jersey formul Onto. You know we're Messi fans, But I

(01:02):
really didn't know that Argentina would be facing the finals
just because everyone was saying, oh, it's going to be
Spain and France, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Yeah, well it's a cool jersey even if they weren't
in the finals.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
I love it. I really love it.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Cool callers, Yeah, nice job.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Thank you. I really like it too. Messi has signed
with Miami inter Miami. He's part owner as well, so
he has his contract through December of twenty twenty eight.
But since he's a part owner, if he should choose
to go out on top, yeah then he can. He
could like change the writing. Oh because he and Beckham

(01:41):
own the team with some other investors. Yeah, so he
did that on purpose.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
So yeah, if he breaks his contract, he's just breaking
with himself, right.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
And happy birthday to you if you were celebrating today.
Will Ferrell is having his birthday. We love you Will Ferrell.
A last night where The SP's Marcelo Hernandez was the host,
Will got up to, uh, well, kind of correct the guys.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Someone ain't spirit.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
You can't say that these are good people. These are
good people. I will not translate that.

Speaker 5 (02:12):
How dare you?

Speaker 3 (02:13):
How I did's are good people?

Speaker 2 (02:16):
I wasn't, Mike, what was the very first thing he
did say, Marcel.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
It was all complimentary too.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
It was all really nice.

Speaker 5 (02:26):
You thought, it's so.

Speaker 6 (02:29):
Say the fall in theough with the Allen Case Show

every weekday Ellen kiss Q and a lots of fun

Speaker 1 (03:06):
And coming up, we're gonna go Inside Entertainment. So the
Odyssey is here. You know, these tickets sold out a
year ago to the Odyssey. It is is a huge
action on a huge screen. It is long. But what
does everybody think of it? There's been already some early
screenings and we're going to go inside the Odyssey and

(03:28):
other things happening.

Speaker 7 (03:30):
Next post one of three point five The ellen k
Morning Show follow ad Official ellen K Post one of
three point five Inside Entertainment with ellen.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
K is swap Face taking over Hollywood. The Hollywood Reporter
says that today's stars have a much more homogeneous and
perfect look than the old guard, like Al Pacino or
Dustin Hoffman. And they think it's least partly due to
social media. So think of some of the unique looks
we've had through the years. Paccino Stallone, Meryl Streep, Nick

(04:00):
Christopher Walking, Samuel L. Jackson, Sandra Bullock. There's a time
when celebrities didn't all share a certain look, but a
writer at The Hollywood Reporter thinks that's changing, and today's
stars all have a sameness to them. The writer calls
it Instagram face or slop face. Yeah. He says the
homogenization of Hollywood beauty standards as the result of decisions

(04:20):
by the gatekeepers of stardom, as well as by the
stars themselves, who urge plastic surgeons, cosmetics, dentists, and dermatologists
to achieve on trend looks that they hope will benefit
or extend their careers.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
I hope that swings back in the other direction.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
You look at like Jeremy Allen White or like an
Adam Driver, they're very unique looking.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Yeah, so I hope that does.

Speaker 8 (04:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Look, you know, this article got a lot of criticism.
A lot of people were saying, a lot of stars
were like Christina Ricci said, take this down right now,
like this just isn't true. I mean, look at Christina Ricci,
She's said a classic Olivia Wilde just produced and directed
and started a hit movie. She's not that classic homogenized
look at all anyway. That kind of ruffled some feathers,

(05:03):
so to speak. Nicki Glazer has she's got a new
song out she can sing and it's called good Girl.
And some of the lyrics are not post worthy. We
can't play it on the era, but it's you know,
it's what you would expect from Nicki Glazer, and she
said she wrote it for her special good Girl. She
was reading a lot of the files at the time

(05:23):
and she just wanted to put this out in the world.
So if you do follow Nicki Glazer, tap on that.
It's on her Instagram feed. We can't give it to
you here. And the trailer for I Play Rocky dropped
Yesterday's the story of how Sylvester Stallone fought to get
Rocky made with himself in the lead, so Anthony Ippolito
placed alone and he's got the voice down anyway. So

(05:45):
it's just about the struggles you went through. And he's
Rocky Balboa because he lived in a really crappy little
apartment on Balboa and when he would drive home on
the one oh one, Sylvester Stallone would look up at
that exit, and he was like, I wish I didn't
have to go home and exit Boa.

Speaker 7 (06:00):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
He didn't want to go back to his apartment, and
that spurred him to get out of the apartment and
write a hit. And now he lives in a giant mansion.
In fact, he sold his last mansion to a Deele. Yeah,
it's pretty cool. Matt Damon shared what Sean Penn told
a guy who came over to take his daughter on
a first state Apparently, Sean said, quote, whatever you do
to her, I'm going to do to you when you

(06:22):
get home. Have a nice night. Matt Damon the Star
of Odyssey. The Odyssey starring Tom Holland, Ann Hathaway, Rob Pattinson,
Zendeia Shirley is there on, John Bernthal, Lupita Niango. What
a cast. It's epic. Christopher Nolan two hundred and fifty

(06:42):
million dollars seventy millimeter. This film is just, I guess,
just amazing. He won't use se gi. So when you
see the Mediterranean, it's a Mediterranean. You see a thousand soldiers,
you see those are real soldiers. Matt Damon said that
it was the most fun he'd ever had filming a movie,

(07:03):
and the cast got together to make a little song
of the story of the Odysseys and Helen of true
Homer the way we go over the story in six feet.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
Whatever, So long as this fat.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
And suitters on shooters and some one on the moors.

Speaker 5 (07:21):
But Helen, Athena and Generous.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
Help me get to defeat that music, that hero who's
traveled far and.

Speaker 6 (07:27):
Wide, and music that he who's gotta be tired because
of the.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Awesome. It's gotta be tired.

Coast one O three point five The ellen k Morning Show,
Morning to ya.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
Thank you for being here with us on your Friday Eve.
So I want you to feel good. That's why we
bring you a happiness hack at this time every morning
you were here.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
Of the pickle jar theory.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
No, I have not, but I'm dying to know.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
It doesn't involve eating pickles.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
Okay, okay, So mental health experts suggest picturing our day
as an empty pickle jar.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
Oh you only have so much room in the jar.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
Oh okay, just like you do with a day so
the jar is empty, yes, and it's a pickle jar.
Selina Gomez who we just played a little while ago.
She loves pickle juice. She'll just drink the whole thing.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
Good for you, Yeah, rehydrating.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
Think of this jar though, and your day and so
your biggest, most important tasks are the pickles. Okay, okay,
so you want to put those pickles in first.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
Right, we have a jar the positive pickle, Yes, we do.
It's like pickles, they have positive sayings.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Pick a pickle with a boost. Okay, So the pickles
are in. These are your big things that you have.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
To get done today. Okay.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
Then you add the smaller stuff like emails, Aaron's little chores.
Visualize those as maybe pebbles kind of filling in the
gaps between the pickles. And finally, the tiny distractions like
oh I should look at my Instagram, DMS or reorganizing
that drawer that feels like it's just a mess. Right,
think of those as sand. Okay, Now, if you fill
the jar with sand first, the pickles will never fit.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
Oh, got it. So put the pickles in first, because
the pickles have to be there where you need to
pickle emoji as well, this is so good.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
So before your day gets away from you today, choose
two or three pickles. Put those in your jaw. Then
at everything else, the actual important stuff in the jar. First,
let the little stuff squeeze in where it can.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
That is a perfect positive pickles.

Speaker 7 (10:45):
The Coast one oh three point five The ellen K
Morning Show. Follow us at Coast one oh three five

Speaker 1 (10:51):
Top stories top of the hour. Good morning, I'm ellen K.
Be aware of this Halloway and sunset of broken water
Maine sending water gush from an apartment building, turning nearby
streets into rivers in West Hollywood. It's a rupture of
one of the significant mainz that goes through West Hollywood
and Hollywood, and as it turns out, that is an
area where mains from a number of different water companies

(11:14):
cross Ola. LA Fire Department Captain Aaron Katan said that
the DWP is working closely with the LA Fire Department
to get things right, and there's still much to do.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
This is not going to be a quick process for recovery.
Sunset's not going to be open tonight. There's going to
be a lot that needs to get done to figure
out what the damage was done by this to fix
that waterman. So we're really we're near the end of
getting the water shut off, but we're just at the
beginning of the recovery.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
Oh man. That's Captain Aaron Katan, and he also said
that they are looking at the possibility of sinkholes. There's
a lot of dirt that was also washed away, so
they are making every effort they can to get everything stabilized. Now,
one of the most iconic landmarks here in la is
getting a green and glam glow up. The Bezos Earth
Fund is giving ten million dollars to a new drought

(11:59):
resistant park and arts and culture campus around Watts Towers.
The project adding five acres of green space and then
will wrap up in twenty twenty eight and the FIFA
Finals are finalized. Soccer Sunday, Spain versus argentinaa doing again and.

Speaker 8 (12:15):
They said it with Spain Sunday in New Jersey Final.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
Aw Messi's Argentina looking to become the first country since
Brazil in nineteen sixty two to win back to back
World Cups, sixty four years in the making. And the
story couldn't be sweeter. It's the King versus his teenage
air Messi's Final Cup at thirty nine versus La Mignamal,
only nineteen years old. So much thatment happening on Sunday,
and a security dog at Disneyland named Benny has officially

(12:42):
retired after six years of service helping to keep the
park safe. They threw him a special retirement party where
he ate his first ever hot dog and did one
final demonstration of his security skills. Benny plans to spend
his retirement chilling at home and enjoying tons of hikes
and belly rubs. And the oven stays on again today
excessive morning until eight pm. Tempts will tumble tomorrow, a

(13:03):
much nicer weekend ahead Downey. You go to ninety devour
all the way up to one hundred and three today,
and it is seventy in Burbank. It's kost Los Angeles
Coast one of three point five. We got your cash

(13:47):
to do this summer? Where your place? All right? Getting
a lot of calls this morning. Let's go to h
Kim Kim, Hi, good morning, what's up?

Speaker 12 (13:57):
Hi?

Speaker 13 (13:58):
I just want to make a comment about that woman
that's older.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
Oh, yes, okay, So Dolby wrote a letter. He's thirty two,
he's dating Jodie, she's fifty two, and he will not
bring her around to his friends. She is sniffing something suspicious.
And yeah, we're getting a lot of calls about this.

Speaker 13 (14:19):
I think that she should probably move on.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
It sounds like it may have happened to you.

Speaker 13 (14:25):
No, actually the opposite.

Speaker 6 (14:27):
Oh.

Speaker 13 (14:28):
I met my husband when I was twenty one, and
he is fifteen years older than.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
Me, and and.

Speaker 13 (14:37):
I thought that there was going to be a problem
with the differences in our age, because you know, I
still had braces and glasses and anyways, he had no
problem introducing me to his friends and we've been married
now for thirty four years.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
Because he's proud you, and he loves you, and he
loved you right away and he's this is who I
love and you were accepted by everyone. Yes, because I
feel like it's an energy. People can feel what you're feeling.
You ever walk into a room like a meeting and
you can just feel it right away. This is going
to be badter, it's going to be good. You see

(15:18):
a friend, you know instantly what's on his mind, what's
going on. We feel each other and she feels it.
I think she's just having fun and that's why she's
let it go this long.

Speaker 13 (15:31):
Yeah, but she needs to make a decision for herself. Yeah, yeah,
about how she wants to be treated.

Speaker 1 (15:39):
Kim, congratulations on your love.

Speaker 13 (15:41):
Thank you so much, and thanks for listening to us always.
I listen to you every morning and all day long.
I love you guys so much, so much. You're wonderful
and yes, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 14 (15:56):
Kim.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
Okay, Yeah, I don't think in the history of of
the letters to Dell and we've ever had one that's fans.

Speaker 3 (16:02):
Days the next day.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
This is a situation. So Dolby is dating someone twenty
years older than him. He's embarrassed to bring her around
to his friends.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
That's just that's it.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
He's like, I don't know if I'm ready to introduce
her to my family and my friends. My friends are
gonna ridicule me for dating an older woman. So I mean,
my god. And then so she's ghosted him now because,
like I said to Kim, she can feel it. Yeah,
she can feel it after eight months. But yeah, I've

(16:34):
shocked this.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
I know we're getting so it's time. I think we
can all agree that.

Speaker 15 (16:41):
Jody says goodbye.

Speaker 1 (17:07):

to tell you my husband is obsessed with the dentist.
He loves to go to the dentist. He goes twice
a year, like clockwork. He puts it in his calendar.
He loves his dentist. We all go to the same
one after sign shout out. But he's like you. I
even think as a kid he loved That is odd.

Do you like it, Fianca?

Speaker 12 (19:11):
I do?

Speaker 17 (19:12):
I mean, this is a new dentists.

Speaker 11 (19:13):
Okay, I'm kind of very I'm a very funny person.

Speaker 13 (19:18):
But he's not.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
Yeah, I would turn DENTI once he called himself, called
himself a wet finger dentist, M fingers in the mouth.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
All right, Fianca, let's get to your guests. Every family
has one person who blanks. Fill in that blank.

Speaker 16 (19:33):
I would say, is the black sheet?

Speaker 1 (19:35):
The black sheet? You know what? It's a good guess.
It is not the right answer.

Speaker 13 (19:41):
Okay, thank you, all right, try again, have a.

Speaker 1 (19:43):

Speaker 17 (19:51):
No problem.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
What is your guess? What does every family have one
person who.

Speaker 9 (19:56):
Blanks makes everyone laugh.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
Yeah, the funny, the clown, the family clown. Love that.
It's a great guess. It's not the right answer, though,
Oh man, try again.

Speaker 9 (20:11):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
Thanks. Vanessa's and downy at work with a bunch of friends.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
While we have you, why don't you, Vanessa, tell us
who's the person in your family who starts the drama?

Speaker 17 (21:12):
Oh my gosh, my cousin will remain nameless.

Speaker 18 (21:15):
But she does.

Speaker 17 (21:16):
Okay, currently she's currently blacklisted from the family.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
Oh what did she do? Can you tell us?

Speaker 17 (21:23):
Oh my gosh, I can. I think her. I think
her husband's listening because you know that a radio and
all my family listens now. But I will say that
she didn't do something. She did something bad and she's
trying to redeem herself. So hopefully she does because I
love her. But now my anonymous cousin.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
Okay, the anonymous cousin is blacklisted. Okay, everybody has one,
every family has one. So she is not alone, nor
are you. And happen at Legoland.

and Mosquito season is officially buzzing across La County. We
have our first confirmed case of West Nile, an Anilo
Valley resident who's recovering as we speak in the hospital.

(22:26):
He will be okay. Health officials urging us all to
dump standing water around our living spaces to prevent bites
and breeden. And what about this home depot ready for Halloween?
It's one hundred and six days away, but they have
unveiled their complete twenty twenty six Spooky Season collection. Now
you can buy the updates. It's the twelve foot Skelly,
the eleven foot Mummy, or the eight foot Perilous plant Monster,

(22:47):
or the three piece animated gremlins from the film on
the home Depot Apple website. The creepy creations are going
to be in stores a little bit later on, but
they just they're putting that out there right now. And
the hulland effect continues as soccer star Earling Hollands hairtie
has become a must have accessory. Fans discovered that the
Norway Star signature hairtie is made by a South Korean

(23:09):
brand called Kaneki. Demand exploded almost overnight. Known for staying
put through intense workouts and games, the humble hairtie has
turned into an unexpected World Cup sensation and let's go
down to West Hollywood. Dave Hanson is with the LEDWP
talking about that horrible water main break and the flood
that ensued. The pump, the pipe that broke in. It's

(23:29):
from nineteen sixteen. It is called a trunk pipe, and
it's exactly made from a tree trunk, so that will
be replaced. But now there's a sinkhole. Dave Hanson runs
it down.

Speaker 12 (23:39):
Luckily, at this time we don't have services that are out,
so everybody does have clean water that's safe to drink.
It's mainly the impact to the transit and the morning
commute down Sunset Boulevard.

Speaker 1 (23:52):
A little bit of good news there. And the series
premiere of The Hawk is on Netflix. Happy birthday to you.
Will Ferrell star playing a washed up pro golfer making
a massive comeback while competing against his own son. Molly
Shannon plays is a stranged wife. Anyway, it's out on
Netflix now. It is his birthday. He's on Fallin tonight
and he was also at the SP's last night, translating

(24:14):
for Marcelo Hernandez, the host.

Speaker 4 (24:17):
Someone in Spirac.

Speaker 3 (24:20):
You can't say that these are good people. These are
good people. I will not translate that.

Speaker 5 (24:26):
How dare you?

Speaker 1 (24:27):
How dear?

Speaker 4 (24:29):
I did?

Speaker 3 (24:30):
Are good people?

Speaker 17 (24:30):
Why wasn't.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
Happy birthday? Will Pharrell? All right? The oven stays on
excessive heat warning until eight pm. Tempts finally starting to
tumble tomorrow, much nicer weekend ahead. We are going up

Speaker 18 (25:00):
Would be okay with it.

Speaker 17 (25:02):
No man wants to share his wife.

Speaker 7 (25:03):
Walk Away, girl walk away on the LLENK Morning Show

I'm Ellen K, I'm Ryan Man, I'm not producer Mike Romos.
And it's a therapy Thursday. Our licensed therapist Sarah Dash
here to tack you your troubles, and this is what
we know. Melissa on the line now, And Melissa, your

(25:30):
husband Marcus left his laptop open while he was in
the shower and a banking notification popped up when you'd
never seen before. Turns out it's completely separate savings account
with almost fourteen thousand dollars in it. And we know
you've been talking for months about replacing your aging car
because it keeps breaking down, but he's been hiding money

(25:50):
from you to take a solo month long trip to Europe.
All right, Melissa, why yeah?

Speaker 11 (25:58):
I mean that's exactly what I was like, what why
are you doing? Like what are you talking about? And
he was like, he loves me, he's not leaving me,
but he really needs to find himself before he gets older.
And he was like, every every single married person deserves
to have an adventure that's on their own. And I
was like, why couldn't you have just told me about it?

Speaker 10 (26:18):
What do you think about the word deserve When he
says he deserves this, How does that.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
Land with you?

Speaker 11 (26:24):
I mean it makes me really pissed, Like, you know,
we need a car to like drive, I mean we
have to have it.

Speaker 1 (26:31):
Is he a selfish person just generally.

Speaker 11 (26:34):
I mean he's got the general selfishness of any male person.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
Boy Light, a really good friend of mine, has a husband.
They don't have any kids, and they were kind of
in the same situation where they were trying to, like,
you know, buy a house and do all these things together.
And he goes out without telling her and buys a

(26:59):
brand new car. He traded in his old car and
got that this brand that he had ordered, and they
broke up over that.

Speaker 10 (27:07):
She was like, who are you Well, it feels like
a betrayal. Yeah, I think I said this maybe the
last time we got together. I mean, the concept of
a financial infidelity is very real. I mean, do you
feel like this is a financial infidelity? Would you categorize
it as such?

Speaker 11 (27:24):
I mean, yes, I think it is. It was a
total I mean it was a total secret.

Speaker 10 (27:29):
Did you say that he said something about finding himself?
Did he use that word or is that just something
I'm picking up on them?

Speaker 18 (27:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (27:35):
He used that.

Speaker 11 (27:36):
Well, he said he wants to find himself.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
What do you think that means?

Speaker 5 (27:40):
What do you hear?

Speaker 11 (27:41):
I hear that he doesn't know who he is anymore
and that he's turning fifteen, he's freaking out.

Speaker 1 (27:46):
That sounds threatening.

Speaker 10 (27:47):
I would I think I would feel threatened if my partner,
my love says, you know, I don't know who I
am anymore, because there would be possible.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
Implications destabilizing to the foundation of who he is.

Speaker 1 (27:59):
Yeah right, yeah, what about giving him an ultimatum and
saying I'm not You're not allowed to go.

Speaker 3 (28:05):
That's an interesting to act.

Speaker 1 (28:07):
You can't go, you go? Would you choose me or
you choose your little solo mid life crisis trip.

Speaker 11 (28:14):
I just feel like that that justifies his like secrecy.

Speaker 1 (28:19):
Yeah, maybe maybe maybe he's open to shortening the trip.

Speaker 11 (28:23):
I mean that would be I feel like that would
make me feel better.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
But I mean you could say to him, Marcus, give
me half the money, I'll shut up exactly. Or I
mean that's kind of where my mind was going.

Speaker 11 (28:35):
Oh wow, Yeah, yeah, I mean I would feel less trade,
I would feel less us. I feel like I used
so like if there was a little splitting evenly of
this savings like different, like come on, sure, thank you,
I'm gonna I'm gonna work on it. So I hope
that that we can get through this.

Speaker 1 (28:56):
Me too, male mid life classes so a secretive bank
account fourteen thousand dollars. He likes a solo trip to Europe.
Is he a bad guy? It's eight hundred ninety nine kost.

hearing in my left ear.

Speaker 2 (30:42):
I woke up completely deaf in my left on May
twenty first. It's still gone, but I've adjusted and we're
doing great.

Speaker 16 (30:49):
Okay, that's good.

Speaker 1 (30:50):
I'm glad to hear that he never missed a beat
and he's keeping a great attitude about it. Sometimes the
hearing will come back. It's happened to some of our friends. Yeah,
but so far really, no, dice.

Speaker 3 (31:03):
No, we're still you know, we're still hoping for that.

Speaker 10 (32:03):
Yes, I did.

Speaker 18 (32:03):
And what if he was just saying that and he's
planning a trip with them together, or it's a surprise,
or maybe he's saving money to buy her a new car.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
Well once once busted while he was in the shower,
Why not just fess up if that's the case.

Speaker 18 (32:24):
Because he wasn't ready to was you know, just something
that he's planning.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
Yeah, maybe you're really giving him I think, and this
is very nice. You're giving him a lot of leeway
and a lot of benefit of the doubt here.

Speaker 18 (32:36):
Well, I'm giving him a little bit of grace. I'll
tell you.

Speaker 14 (32:39):
My parents were married sixty five years and at their
fiftieth wedding anniversary, and they had obviously a great relationship

Speaker 1 (33:41):
This is for us right, Please tell.

Speaker 5 (33:45):
Me it's the ellen Ham Morning Show. Coast one O
three point five.

Speaker 1 (33:54):
We've been following our very first swimmer pursuit, first one
I ever remember. Oh you's been on the radio here
in LA. It's usually a high speed pursuit. This was
a swimmer pursuit and he has been apprehended. So two lifeguards,
three lifeguards brought him in because he was off the
Pacific Palisades coastline AE hundred yards out, so they were

(34:18):
trying to bring him and he's wanted on a felony warrant,
and they got him into the sheriff's boat sans pants.

Speaker 3 (34:24):
Yeah, he had to take those. I'm sure they were
weighing them down.

Speaker 1 (34:26):
Yeah, but we just want to share with you that
the purp is in the boat. Okay, and coming up
more of your comments. So we have therapy Thursday. There's
this guy named Marcus who was hiding fourteen grant from
his wife. It was a secret stash of cash and
he wanted it for his solo trip to Europe. And yeah,

(34:48):
we're gonna give you the update on that too.

Speaker 5 (34:49):
Now it's the L and K Morning Show.

Speaker 19 (34:51):
I lay down at night with you guys, I wake
up in the morning with you guys.

Speaker 1 (34:55):
I just wanted to say thank you guys so much
for everything that you guys do.

Speaker 5 (34:58):
Host one oh three point Thanky.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
Sandra, thanks so much for calling. You heard Therapy Thursday.
Melissa's husband Marcus needs to find himself on a solo
trip to Europe, and she discovered his secret stash of
cash fourteen thousand dollars.

Speaker 2 (35:16):
Keep in mind too, this is while he's been telling
her to do better at saving money because they have
to get a car.

Speaker 1 (35:22):
Right, And he was in the shower when the alert
came up on his computer, which he left open.

Speaker 2 (35:30):
When was he planning to tell her? I wonder, because
this isn't something you can keep head But do you
tell her when.

Speaker 3 (35:34):
You're on your way to the air?

Speaker 1 (35:37):
Serious? All right, Santra? You wanted to comment, so.

Speaker 16 (35:42):
I was trying to let it go, but I can't.
It's just wrong on so many levels. So one of
the things that concerns me is it's different if you
were going on a fishing trip to you know, discover
himself after fifty or Grand Canyon, whatever. He's going to Europe.
The wife might want to go to Europe. So there's
so many questions I have. Has she ever been to

(36:05):
Europe with him? So the fact that it's a place
that could very well be deemed a romantic type of,
you know, journey is disturbing without her. So the only
way that he could possibly even try to make this right,
is if he takes maybe one of the weeks, because
I understand it's two weeks, take one week to find himself,

(36:28):
and then she joined him for the second week. See
if she likes what he is now that he's found
himself right right.

Speaker 1 (36:37):
With him? Do you think one week is enough time
for this guy who's hidden fourteen grants Froman's wife to
find himself?

Speaker 16 (36:46):
No way, I mean, quite frankly, this whole thing is
so incredibly disturbing that you know I'd be sending him
a dear John Leather. This is just not kosher. But
I'm trying to help her.

Speaker 13 (36:58):
Yeah, it's easy, but you know that week they can
make it work great, but it is disturbing.

Speaker 1 (37:07):
Sandra, thank you for not keeping your mouth shut.

Speaker 16 (37:12):
Love you guys.

Speaker 5 (37:13):
Bye, It's the ellen k Morning Show.

Speaker 16 (37:15):
