Dodgers just tied with the Angels seven to seven in
the Freeway Series and MLB Spring Training games often entertytype,
the score is noted after nine innings. I didn't know that.
My husband tells me all these facts. Yeah, because he's
like obsessed with all the facts. And that's a guy thing.
I think that you guys can just pull out the
facts of a certain day and year, you know, and

(00:47):
then you know your favorite whoever.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
We do like the minutia, Yeah, of the game.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
All Right, Hannah Montana.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
It was a hanniversary twenty years of Hannah Montana Big
Red Carpet Last Night here in Hollywood, and in conjunction
with the twenty anniversary, Starbucks introduced a drink that Hannah
Montana would never personally order. Hannah's Secret Pop Star Refresher,
is available through the Starbucks Apps Secret Menu. The drink
has a strawberry kind of asa E base then topped

(02:42):
with raspberry cold foam and raspberry syrup. Well, Hannah Montana
episode in the first season centered on Miley and Hannah's
aversion to raspberries as a child. Miley's stewart Miley Cyrus
suffered x well something horrid got it.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
After raspberry pie eating contest.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Hannah Montana suffered some bad stuff for raspberry scented perfume.
So anyway, raspberries are out for Hannah Montana. Star Mixed
did the collabse.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Seline.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Diana is ready for her Paris residency. This is a
comeback six years after being out of the spotlight. She
had stiff person disease and she's confirmed to perform at
the Eiffel Tower on July fourteenth. That's Bestial day to
celebrate the anniversary of France's independence and what about this
bts on pace for the biggest album debut of the
year sales and streaming for rag as I guess it is.

(03:37):
Audi Dang are projected to exceed the equivalent of six
hundred thousand albums sold, and also their tour is expected
to outpace Taylor Swift's world tour, and she pulled in
two bills for that one, so it's gonna be huge numbers.
Ryan Gosling spent one hundred days filming almost entirely alone
in Project Hail Mary, with no human co star for
most of the runtime. He carried every scene on his

(03:58):
shoulders and made and this feel every moment we saw it.
It's so good. Rocky is a rock that he meets
in space. Rocky doesn't have a face, but Rocky learns
some things from Ryan Gosling, and he learns how to
fist bump, and he calls he says, fist my bump.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
What a great t shirt, Fist my bump.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Critics are calling it the most emotionally demanding performance of
his career, So look for awards season coming up for
Ryan Gosling on that one, all right. Mariah Carey spotted
at the brand new Arawan in West Hollywood. If you
haven't been there yet, it's right on Santa Monica Boulevard.
I have a lot of friends who live in and
around that area, so I said, you've got to go
over there and give me the scoop.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Parking looks pretty easy.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
There's still, you know, some crowds on the sidewalk because
you can take your stuff out there and drink your
smoothie outside. But it looks pretty tame so far compared
to other arawes. Mariah Carey was filming something inside the Arawan.
She's wearing heels pushing a cart, so the photos that
were captured of her had her cart empty. But she's

(05:06):
in the beverage aisle, so I don't know if there's
going to be a new Mariah smoothie or maybe some
kind of energy drink or yeah, so that's going to
be fun for that unveiling.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
She does her own grocery shopping and heels.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Of course, let's talk about Travis Kelcey and Taylor Swift.
A three week honeymoon, possibly quick, so they've got to
block this out. They want to travel around the world,
visiting nine countries in three weeks.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
Sounds more like an ordeal than a Honeymoon's a pain.
Oh my goodness. Anyway, we don't know.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
This is unconfirmed reports, but Trav he announced it yesterday.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
It's a killer deal.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
The Chief's tight end and future mister Swift has officially
put pen to paper signed his extension.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
It's not for one year, not even two years.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Travis Kelsey signed a three year deal with the Chiefs
worth almost fifty eight million dollars.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
He is ready to go Chief's Kingdom. Let's go, baby,
it's official.

Speaker 6 (05:59):
Excited for twenty twenty six.

Speaker 7 (06:00):
I'm just excited to put on a Chi's uniform in
front of you guys again.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Let's get arrow ahead, rocking baby. We'll see you guys
in a few months. Ryan had him out the door.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
I thought he's done.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
Three more years. I had a three week honeymoon. He's
got a Let's go.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
To the movies together at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
What a great theater, the biggest screen in the world.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
And on March thirty first, so that is next Tuesday. Yeah,
can enjoy screen and give a new short film from
Elf Cosmetics. It's Criminal Cosmetics Cosmetics Criminals, followed by a
Q and a with a cast some Elf goodies, is
a goodie bag full of Elf cosmetics. We want to
send you there. All you've got to do is be

(06:45):
color twenty right now high your color twenty.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
Oh heyya?

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Also, that is so cool. You're gonna come to the
Chinese Theater. I'll be there with you.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
We're gonna do a big red carp it and the
cosmetic Criminals, a short film will be debuted.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
You will be there.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
We're going to Q and eate the stars and you
get a goodie bag with Elf goodies inside.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
We love Elf cosmetics.

Speaker 8 (07:12):
Perfect. This is so cool.

Speaker 5 (07:14):
Thank you?

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Yeah, you and a guest. It's a pair of passes.
Just something fun to do.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
And I don't know the last time you went to
the Chinese Theater, but that is such an iconic spot.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
I've never been so for sire in Hollywood.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
You'll see all the hand and footprints in the cement
as you enter, and then it's one of those big
old grand like gold gilded age, red curtain giant screen theater. Nice.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
Did we get your name?

Speaker 9 (07:41):
John On?

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Thanks?

Speaker 3 (07:43):
Thanks? Do you know what elf stands for?

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Elf?

Speaker 5 (07:47):
What?

Speaker 3 (07:47):
Well, it's supposed to be eyes, lips, face, but in
this case, it's Ellen looks fantastic.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
Oh dork cost one of three point five the Ellen
k Morning Show. Text us anytime at five one oh
three five.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Or that next it is one word, they will instantly
lower your stress.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
I love simplicity.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
Okay, this word while texting instantly lowers anxiety and stress.
Like you said. This is according to a new study,
instead of saying okay in a text, say oki.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Ah, I say oki doky like oki doki.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
That's like okay, oki doki.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
We all have our texting styles. Ellen's a big voice
to text her, so you have to decipher a lot
of times, what yeah, he is in a car, and
you wait.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
What is that word?

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Like oki dokie might come out as I don't know,
like doka.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
I just kind of have to figure it out. But yeah, okay.
So this study says small language shifts like this make
digital communication feel warm or less intimidating. It helps people
express themselves more easily and pleasing. It's softer, more playful.
So don't say okay, what about the dreaded k oh.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
There are studies that say you're like, that's actually rude
to just put k.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
Look, I know I'll die on this hill alone. The
thumbs up emoji to me is just it's it's so condescending,
really passive.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
All right, well, we're about happiness. That's I love to
I love that.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
Ok ok okay.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Point five top stories Top of the Hour, Good morning
of Mellen k and the nation's fast foods are heating up. Really,
it's all inspired by the CEOs of major brands taking
bites of their grub on social media. A new survey
asked Americans to build their ideal fast food plate. Pick
and choose any items from any menu from any restaurant.
Here's where we landed nationally. A Burger king Berger paired

(11:06):
with McDonald's fries and a Dairy Queen milkshake audible mention
to non beef peeps. Chick fil A was the runner
up for the ideal sandwich, and McDonald's is experimenting with
robot employees that look like humans and even dress in uniform.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
This is all being tested in Shanghai.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
These humanoid robots greeting customers and then they help carry
the food. And they did this during a promotional event.
They are trying to find ways to do this permanently.
And what about this, let's talk show. Hey for a
sex specifically Otani memorabilia. A jersey he wore in the
World Baseball Classic literally two weeks ago, has sold it
auction for one point five million dollars, the highest price

(11:42):
ever paid for any Otani jersey. That is amazing. And
beer is now cheaper than gas. Here in California, there
are t shirts that have gone viral. They say drink
don't drive, just opposite of the message that we all learn.
And what about this? We got more heat. We're keeping
it toasty for your Tuesday. Sunny or two tumps in
the to ninety range almost everywhere sixty two in Burbank Kost,

(12:04):

Even though there are thousands of people there. It feels like, wow,

(13:55):
this is like it's just a movement.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
It's the most la thing you can do.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
It really right, Big Dodger mural being unveiled this morning
at ten am and it's got all the grace. The
samurais of the you know baseball called the Samurai of
the Diamond and it's in Torrents so that has been
un built today too, So definitely the spirit is in
the air.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
We got this talk back from Wendy.

Speaker 5 (14:19):
Good morning, co fam. This is Wendy from me Rock.
So my kindergarten teacher taught the class to write the
number five and said it was to draw that Nanda Valenzuela.

Speaker 11 (14:34):
So if you draw five, you have the his cap,
his neck w is belly. That's how I learned to
write the number five. Shout out to you, miss Ramos.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
That's a really clever way of art. Thank you for that.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
That's also a life hack, Wendy, thanks for that. All right,
we got this talk back from Grant morning.

Speaker 12 (15:00):
Ellen.

Speaker 13 (15:01):
This is embarrassing, but I don't know how to be romantic, Like,
as a woman, what do you think is romantic? I'm dating,
but I feel awkward being romantic.

Speaker 14 (15:10):
Oh, baseball opening day is romantic.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
Yeah, it is, so you'll be entered to win. But
what is romance?

Speaker 2 (15:20):
I guess here's what I would say.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
You know your audience, right, tailor the romance to the
purse to the person to be thoughtful. But it is true,
guys aren't really taught. How who teaches a man to
how to be romantic?

Speaker 2 (15:34):
Well, I guess maybe by watching your dad or your
big brother, or watching movies, you know, seeing how Ryan
Gosling does it in the notebook, Cupping the face with
the hands and keep saving the rain. That's romantic. We
don't get a lot of rain here in southern California.

Speaker 15 (15:50):
I remember seeing my dad bring my mom home flowers
every now and then, just to surprise her. Yeah, like
little things like that.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
One time my dad entered my mom into a contest
at the grocery store and he won, and he brought
home a canoe. And I have to tell you, from
that moment on, we knew that when mom and dad
said they're going canoeing, they were going to have a
canoe trip in the wilderness away from us. So canoeing

(16:20):
became coach speak for some romance. Mom and Dad are
going canoeing, And that canoe was always stored on the
side of the house next to the garage.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
And when they pull that thing out a time, a
canoe dale, A canoe dale.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
Oh okay, Well, I guess romance is.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
You know, it's really what you make of it.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
So know your person and make sure that you you
tailor make it to that person.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
Canoodle all right, Well, keep it here, keep those coming.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
We've got your talkbacks for opening day tickets.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
We also have your ellen KQ and a for Ed
Sharon Just Ahead talk back Tuesday with The Ellen k
Morning Show on Coast one O three point bot tonight,
let's go see Ed Sharon. It's So five Stadium.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
It's your ellen KQ and A and we just love
to play the game with you. So we asked the question.
First caller with the right answer is going to Ed
Sharon at So Fine. It's his loop tour and he
is so wonderful on stage. We had him at the
iHeartRadio Music Festival in Vegas. He gets up there, tells

(17:42):
a story. It's what you see is what you get
with Ed, and that's one of the things we love
so much about him. Last time he was here, I
went over to a British like it's like a British
seven eleven in Hollywood, so everything in there is a
British product, right, and so I bought him all of
his British snacks.

Speaker 3 (17:59):
He loved those Maltesers.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
Yeah, the Maltesers.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
So he was so excited we had to like pull
his face out of the basket just to get the
interview going. But this is your question for Ed sharing
it So by forty percent of couples keep this from
each other? What is that forty percent of all couples
keep this from each other? It's eight hundred and nine
two nine kost four and ten couples. They're not sharing this,

(18:28):
so they're keeping from each other. We want to get
your guesses, and we're gonna get them.

Speaker 4 (18:31):
Next Coast one o three point five The ellen k
Morning Show stream us on the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
The Right Answer, More of your guesses coming up next
on Coast.

Speaker 11 (18:41):
Tech s.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
Curb Curb, Come on in me young.

Speaker 4 (18:47):
It's the ellen k Q and A on Coast one
oh three point five.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
Let's go to Vanessa and daughter Naomi, who's in second grade. Guys,
welcome to the ellen KQ and A.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
You're on your way to school.

Speaker 2 (18:59):
How fun, good morning, Good morning, Hi Naomi. Hi, all
right you guys, let's get your guests. So forty percent
of couples keep this from each.

Speaker 8 (19:09):
Other, she said, text messages.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
Text messages, what a great guess, Like you're texting with someone,
maybe you should be Oh, okay, forty percent of couples
keep this from each other. Naomi and Vanessa say, text messages.
It is not the right answer, but what a great guess.

Speaker 8 (19:27):
Okay, thank you so much, thank you.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
Oh we love you. Thanks. Let's go to Lake Elson
or he's Matt. He works in it.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
Hi Matt, Hello, Hey Matt, what's your guest? Forty percent
of couples keep this from each.

Speaker 8 (19:39):
Other, either work relationships or events that takes place at work.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
Do you have a secret relationship at work?

Speaker 6 (19:47):
I do not.

Speaker 11 (19:48):
I'm very open with my wife about everything.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
All right, great, Well that's a great guest. A lot
of people are saying that work relationships. It is not
the right answer, but try again.

Speaker 16 (19:57):
Okay, thank you, all.

Speaker 1 (19:58):
Right, thank you. We go to She's Wendy. Hi, Wendy, Hi,
good morning, Wendy, good morning, welcome to the Q and A.

Speaker 9 (20:07):
Hi.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
Hi, what are you doing today?

Speaker 8 (20:11):
I'm driving to a doctor appointment?

Speaker 1 (20:13):
Okay, well, we hope it goes great for you.

Speaker 2 (20:16):
Thank you. All right, So what's your guest? Forty percent
of couples keep this from each other.

Speaker 8 (20:21):
I say debt, how much they spent.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
Debt, how much debt they have.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
You know, we just had a letter to Ellen yesterday
from a husband who found his wife's secret credit card
and he felt really betrayed. So that would actually get
right into this. Forty percent of couples keep debt from
each other. You are right, you're going to end sharing
it so fine. Oh my god, cool, Yay, secret spending

(20:48):
might lead to secret debt.

Speaker 8 (20:50):
Oh man, I have to stop spending.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
Though, have a great time.

Speaker 8 (20:57):
Thank you, thank you.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
So many great guesses for this. Forty percent of couples
keep this from each other. I liked one of our
guesses which wasn't the right answer, because the right answer
is debt, but a bonus or a raise like you
get one and you don't tell your partner. Yeah, okay,
what about this a recipe.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
The family recipe.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
But the right answer you's heard, Wendy, It is debt.
So forty percent couples keeping debt from each other. You're
llen KQ and a thank you so much for playing
the game. Okay, there's seven names, one new album. Fans
are moving faster than your fastest WiFi, and it's coming

(21:42):
up with your top stories. All right, we're going to
go to an active car right now.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
Did not get the name Jason?

Speaker 3 (21:52):
Jason and his two kids on the way to school.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
Oh yeah, and you guys want to hear all about them?

Speaker 2 (21:57):
You're all, yeah, that'd be awesome.

Speaker 8 (22:00):
We wanted there then it somewhere here.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
In Torrance, Yes, south facing wall of the Double Tree
by Hilton in Torrance, where you are.

Speaker 11 (22:09):
That's so cool.

Speaker 8 (22:10):
We're gonna go. We're gonna go check it.

Speaker 2 (22:11):
Out, right, guys, how fun you guys show? Hey Yoshi,
Nobu Yamamoto and Roki Sasaki all on there and painted
by freehand.

Speaker 8 (22:22):
Oh awesome.

Speaker 16 (22:23):
We love the Dodgers, right yay.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
Thanks guys, have a great day. Thank you for listening,
Thanks for having us on.

Speaker 1 (22:31):
In your car.

Speaker 16 (22:32):
Thank you, have a night day.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
I'm so happy that you're going to do a little
drive by its history in the making a freestyle painting
like that one an artist so cool. The mural being
unveiled in Torrance ten this morning, and your top stories
are next. Ongoing government shutdown. It has been six weeks
for TSA workers with out a paycheck. Thankfully, our local

(22:57):
airports have been smooth. The three hardest hit Atlanta and
New Orleans and Philly wait times of three plus hours.
And this is a great idea if you're having a
big milestone birthday. There's a woman who want to celebrate
her thirty eighth birthday big time. So she recreated a
newborn photoshoot complete with a swattle blanket and a tiny

(23:17):
teddy bear hat lying on the blanket next to silver
thirty eight balloons. She nailed the classic baby portrait pose
with a straight pace. The concept of adults recreating newborn
photoshoots has been a popular trend on social media and
it's only getting hotter. So if you are having a
big birthday coming up and you are an adult, you
might want.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
To swaddle up. Okay, how about this.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
BTS on pace for the biggest album debut of the year.
Sales and streaming for their album projected to exceed the
equivalent of six hundred thousand albums sold. It's called ADIDNG
and I was wondering for BTS, never really questioned what
does it stand for?

Speaker 1 (23:51):
In Korean?

Speaker 2 (23:52):
It's bang tan sonjondan and that's bulletproof boy scouts. In English,
we translate BTS to beyond this.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
Also, you know.

Speaker 2 (24:01):
We use it every day, be honest scenes, So BTS,
way to go, congrats and of course we will be
your ticket hookup once they get here to SOFI. All right,
they're reading Rainbow. There is a giant reboot, but a giant.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
I can go twice a.

Speaker 11 (24:19):
Look. It's tanned up book, A reading Rainboy.

Speaker 14 (24:25):
Reading Rain's Coming Back, the classic Sony has ordered twenty
four episodes of Reading Rainbow, the reboot the classic kids
show Finding New Life.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
Mical Threets will return as the host, with Sesame Street
and Miss Rachel veteran Kristin McGregor joining a show runner. Congratulations,
we get our Reading Rainbow Classic back, and we do
have a hot day today. We are hanging on to
this heat, keeping it toasty for your Tuesday sun your too.

the game and HD on the free iHeartRadio app. Now,

(26:10):
Verizon lock in your low price for three years, so
you can say big. My husband and I did that.
We went to the Verizon store. We locked it in
and our phone bill went way down. So visit your
so Cal Verizon store today. They're also just giving you phones.

Speaker 3 (26:24):
I gotta go in there. I mean, I'm out of stories.
They're like, I can't even send a text.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
Seriously.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
We are three people, Calvin Roy and we walk into
the Verizon store in Studio City.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
They said you could have free free phones.

Speaker 2 (26:35):
You can have four new seventeens and we're like, we're
three people.

Speaker 1 (26:39):
We don't get four.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
Don't for me Ryan coming in VR, my fake son
or my brother. Yeah, it's great, so thank you Verizon. Okay,
but talkback Tuesday. Dodgers Opening Day tickets. All right, we
got this talk.

Speaker 11 (26:53):
Back just in Hey, it's Carlos and Piana from Hollywood.
I am doing Mill talk back today because I really
would like to win these.

Speaker 5 (27:02):
Dodger tickets so I could take my teenage daughter. She's thirteen.

Speaker 12 (27:06):
She's actually never been to a Dodger game, so I
would love to give her this treat. She's graduating middle
school this year, so it's a.

Speaker 5 (27:15):
Time of new beginnings and we're trying to get it
to be a Dodger fan.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
So hey, send us out to the ball game. That's
a great way to do it.

Speaker 2 (27:24):
Just be there because you can't go there and not
feel the Dodger blue. This is the Diamondbacks at five
point thirty on Thursday, So we want to send you
Dodgers talk back top fac Tuesday. All right, we got
this one from Grant.

Speaker 13 (27:41):
Good morning, Ellen. This is embarrassing. But I don't know
how to be romantic, Like, as a woman, what do
you think is romantic? I'm dating, but I feel awkward
being romantic.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
Oh god, oh Grant, that's true.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
Like Ryan, you brought it up earlier said who teaches
men to be romantic?

Speaker 3 (28:00):
Was something you just like self learning. You go, you
know what works and doesn't work. You try this and
you go, oh that fell flat. So no, one's like,
you don't get romance lessons as a guy.

Speaker 2 (28:10):
No, but I think that you know, we all have instincts, right,
Like even Punch the Monkey has a girlfriend and when
you when you watch them, you know that he instinctively
knows how how to please her and have fun with her.

Speaker 3 (28:23):
Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
So it really is just knowing the person and knowing
the little things about them that really make them excited.
My husband, for instance, he's a huge Saints fan, and
so if I give him any Saints merch, he loves it.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
It's nostalgic for him.

Speaker 2 (28:35):
He grew up in New Orleans loving the Saints, and
so it's it's really it's connecting with your person on
a level that maybe you've shared and laughed about, or
that you see their eyes light up when you know
you talk about cheesecake.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
It's cheesecake days. Things like that, Like you know your person, Yes,
being considered right if you give royal, he knows that
you thought of him, right with this gift or this gesture.

Speaker 1 (28:59):
Uh huh right.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
My dad entering the grocery store contest and winning, and
it was a canoe, and.

Speaker 1 (29:06):
He brought that canoe home.

Speaker 2 (29:08):
I actually I think they delivered it on top of
a van and then my dad put a giant bow
on it and gave it to my mom and said,
I want this for you. Let's go canoeing. And that
turned into their love language. Yea, so it was almost
a euphemism for their love. But a canoe, it's just
a big thing, you know, it's on the side of that.

Speaker 3 (29:29):
Yes, did he give your mama heads up that something
was coming? I got something on.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
But the fact that he I remember sitting there. We
filled out the form at the grocery store because this
was before online, and we folded the paper and put
it in the clear plastic box and my dad won. Daddy,
all right, well, Andi, palm desert, thanks for having a
sign while you run on the treadmill.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
And as a woman, what would you tell this man?

Speaker 8 (30:01):
I think just listening is a good way people like
to be heard and understood. Just listen to your partner?

Speaker 1 (30:06):
Is that because men just don't listen.

Speaker 8 (30:10):
I don't want to overgeneralize the gender, but.

Speaker 1 (30:14):
I'm just being more difficult.

Speaker 3 (30:16):
Hang on, have we gotten to this point where it's
simply just hearing someone is romantic?

Speaker 11 (30:23):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (30:24):
Do you think that is?

Speaker 8 (30:26):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (30:27):
No, you have one mouth and two ears for a reason.
Thank you, Angie.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
We hope that you have romance in your life with
someone who will listen to a.

Speaker 5 (30:44):
Thank you, Thank you.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
It could be that simple.

Speaker 5 (30:46):
Right.

Speaker 1 (30:46):
You bring up a good point.

Speaker 2 (30:48):
Are we at the base level of romance? So let's
just start in the primordial ooze?

Speaker 1 (30:53):
Where are we up? Okay, So talk back Tuesday. If
you will listen, If we will listen, you will talk.
If you talk, will listen.

Speaker 6 (31:02):
Okay, like to talk.

Speaker 4 (31:03):

a signed Dodger jersey. And it was even my son's birthday,

only thing that can fix it is going to see
the Dodgers play. I need to see them. It's gonna
cure my bronchitess.

Speaker 14 (35:04):
Thank you, Ellen.

Yeah, you don't believe in it anyway, Mercury geez. Just
talk back Tuesday where the only K morning show, and
we got an early morning talk back from Grant Morning Ellen.

Speaker 13 (35:45):
This is embarrassing. But I don't know how to be romantic,
Like as a woman, what do you think is romantic?
I'm dating, but I feel awkward being romantic.

Speaker 2 (35:52):
Oh god, aw it was that early morning voice too
grand So so many women heard your talk back ground
and want to help you out. It's all about romance,
we say, know your audience. That's number one. I have
a friend who he was dating. Well he's still dating.
He's going to be single forever, I think. But he
would make notes when he did have a girlfriend or

(36:15):
someone who wanted to date. He would little things they
would say, and then he'd write it down. Creambroulet smart
you know, or you know, strawberry picking Yeah, that's good. Yeah,
things like that.

Speaker 3 (36:27):
I feel like if you're excited to do it for
the other person, that will shine through in the in
the thing. If you feel like I can't wait to
do this right, that will that will be felt by
the recipient.

Speaker 1 (36:37):
That's right.

Speaker 15 (36:38):
I think if you're emotionally intelligent too, just to learn
like what their love language is, because some people are
going to bypass the car wash and you.

Speaker 1 (36:47):
Know, things like that.

Speaker 15 (36:48):
But you know, a nice what is it for you?

Speaker 9 (36:51):
Dark?

Speaker 15 (36:51):
Honestly, I'm acts of service, like when Alex gets my
car washed, I am so in love with him.

Speaker 9 (36:59):
Recently, at Target and I picked up my wife's favorite
candy bar Payday and I brought it home and I
was a hero I was seeing.

Speaker 2 (37:07):
I'm telling you the little things are the big things, because,
like you said, emotional intelligence, you're so connected to the
person and what really makes them tick.

Speaker 3 (37:16):
Here's one Hide a note for them to find, just
a little note I love you, and then hide it
somewhere like we're they'll find it in the kitchen they're
making their coffee and it's just like whoa where did
that come from?

Speaker 2 (37:24):
Yeah, that's a good one, you know, when it comes
to hiding things. Yeah, there, Seacrest caroll me this story
off the air once and every time I hear the
word hide, I think of this stack of towels in
his bathroom. He's dating a girl who took a shower.
She takes out of her extensions because they're a clipping,

(37:46):
and she hid them in the towels. She put on
a baseball cap and forgotten left.

Speaker 1 (37:51):
Oh god, So.

Speaker 2 (37:53):
He finds the extensions hidden in the towels. They never
would he returned the hair.

Speaker 3 (38:04):
Yeah, they're avative.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
Yeah so yeah, but you could hide notes. That would
be that would be That would be good. Wendy, thank
you so much. When it comes to a romance, what
are you thinking.

Speaker 8 (38:15):
Yeah, like me like pick me up and then have
like a you know, like a flowers when he's picking
me up. That's nice, okay, you know cause many men
don't do that anymore. The holding hands is like I feel,
it's the romantic, like a walk in the beach.

Speaker 3 (38:31):
Okay, yeah, so the classics flowers walk on a beach
and holding hands.

Speaker 1 (38:37):
Let's go pretty such.

Speaker 8 (38:39):
Yeah yeah, okay, thanks Wendy.

Speaker 1 (38:44):
You always go with the classics.

Speaker 2 (38:49):
Keep your talkbacks coming here on talk back Tuesdays all
about you and Dodger tickets. The Dodgers are smashing records
this season. I haven't even started. We had two days
for opening Day this Thursday, going for unseen prices. The
average ticket right now on the secondary market is three
hundred and ninety two dollars, so that is the highest
cost for any MLB home opener ever, ever, ever. But

(39:12):
we have them for you. All you have to do
is leave that talk back on our iHeartRadio app. You
tap the mic. You have until eleven fifty nine pm,
so let's just go to midnight, leave them all day,
and then tomorrow morning at nine ten our digital drawing
keep them coming.

Speaker 16 (39:28):
Good morning, Ellen, k Ryan Manos, social Queen Darlene and
producer Mike Romos. This is your favorite Uber driver John.
Good morning and happy talk back Tuesday. Now here's the
reason that you should randomly wink wink pick me for
a Dodgers' experience. I have never had a Dodger's experience.

(39:50):
That is it. That's the reason. Yes, yes, yes, this
is exactly why you should pick me. It's time for
Dodgers Baseball.

Speaker 14 (40:01):
Thank you for.

Speaker 2 (40:01):
Making his number one with Uber Drivers and out of
time Robert Vargas is a mural painter and he's wearing
a blue Dodger's T shirt today speckled in paint because
he has been painting a twelve story, one hundred and
thirty foot tall public art piece. Robert Vargas, thank you

(40:23):
for making the Samurai of the Diamond. This is in Torrance,
the Double Tree by Hilton's south facing wall. We've got
about t minus thirty until Robert Vargas unveils us to
the world.

Speaker 1 (40:38):
There's gonna be a live.

Speaker 2 (40:39):
Feat to Japan because this honors Shohei Otani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto.
Roki Sasaki is a cultural bridge and this is gorgeous.

Speaker 1 (40:49):
So it's covered in a blue tarp.

Speaker 2 (40:50):
Right now, at ten am, that tarp drops and the
world gets to see what Robert Vargas has painted.

Speaker 1 (40:57):
He is so excited to show the world.

Speaker 17 (40:59):
These players are a great example of how to do
things right on and off the field, and I believe
la ship is really important and it's been great to
see everyone's reaction and the pride that that's beaming from everyone.
I'm looking at about twenty people right now who are
all done and Dodger gear excited to see the unveiling.

Speaker 1 (41:19):
Yes, the LA ship is strong.

Speaker 2 (41:22):
He painted this real freehand, without grids or stencils, navigating
the corrugated surface of the hotel.

Speaker 3 (41:28):
Wall twelve hours a day out there.

Speaker 1 (41:30):
So good. We cannot wait. T minus thirty three. Let's
see on the street.

Speaker 8 (41:38):
You welcome.

Speaker 18 (41:42):
Hey, it's Alex Warren. You know the angels up in
the clouds, the jealous NONI found the number one morning
show in all of LA It's the lank morning show
on coast, one of three.

Speaker 2 (41:53):
Let's talk back Tuesday, and that is Alex Warren. He
was just here with us. He will be at our
iHeartRadio Awards and that is in two days, that is Thursday.
Alex Warren all kinds of nominations for awards, and wow,
what a year he has had. So he was talking
about his favorite in and out. We all have our faves,
right Westlake Village.

Speaker 3 (42:16):
Yeah, gosh, I love the one in Pasadena.

Speaker 15 (42:19):
Story three is the place to be Laverne.

Speaker 6 (42:21):
I like going to want it is right by me,
so I'm there.

Speaker 8 (42:24):
All the time.

Speaker 2 (42:24):
But Alex Warren said, Westlake Village we called the brown
and out because all the architecture up in that Target
center where the in and out is. It's all like
done in Brown's and woods, and then they've got these
beautiful landscaping with cactuses and all kinds of stuff. As
you go through the drive through, there's never a super
long line. And Alex was saying, he that's his favorite.

Speaker 3 (42:46):
Yep, and he gets his burgers well done, adds chopped
chili's animal style double double.

Speaker 1 (42:52):
Chili eating in the car.

Speaker 2 (42:54):
I have a voice over there today, so I should go. Yeah,
I think I'll go get a grilled cheese and eat.

Speaker 1 (42:59):
It in the car.

Speaker 2 (43:03):
All right, Talk back Tuesday. Dodgers opener, it's your way in.
They're so expensive and we have a pair to give you,
so let us give it to you.

Speaker 1 (43:12):
All you do is leave us a talk back.

Speaker 2 (43:13):
You just tap that well microphone up in the upper
right and you're streaming on the end.

Speaker 6 (43:19):
Good morning, Dodger family. My name is Armando and.

Speaker 16 (43:25):
I am a big Dodger fan, and all I have
to say is.

Speaker 13 (43:32):
Let's go Dogger, Let's go Dodgers.

Speaker 6 (43:39):
Let's go Dodgers.

Speaker 1 (43:43):
That's Dodgers like.

Speaker 16 (43:52):
Proc value awesome.

Speaker 2 (44:01):
The door opens during one of my favorite songs, and
then one of our favorite people walks through.

Speaker 1 (44:06):
I'm so sorry, I'm out of breath. Joe Koy is
here in the studio.

Speaker 9 (44:12):
Just skip through while you're out of breath. Okay, Yeah,
let's tell everybody I walked in. I walked in with
my shoes untied. And of course Ellen's like, oh my gosh,
she's gonna trip and fall. As she walks over to
help me, she trips and flies into a steel door,
taking off half her right ear, and then lands on

(44:35):
her backside.

Speaker 6 (44:37):
Starts laughing, and.

shoes but didn't know how, which means he clearly has

(45:00):
a yeah. She did two bunny rabbit ears. I'm like, no,
that adults don't do bunny rabbit.

Speaker 1 (45:08):
Oh my god, ears, that is so embarrassing. I literally,
how how many feet in there did I fly?

Speaker 6 (45:18):
Okay? I saw steal second in real time. That was
my first time being this close to see a steel
a base. Oh my god, it was beautiful, you know,

Metal to the thick part that no one really can hit.
She hit that. She hit the worst part of the door.

Speaker 1 (45:55):
Can it be so sorry?

I will say this. When she landed on her back,
she she had.

Speaker 9 (46:01):
Like a little cool, a cool pose with her knee up,
her knee up.

Speaker 6 (46:06):
And her right arm like a bend like this. She's
like all of those Sears pictures.

Speaker 1 (46:14):
