Well, I'm glad Ellen and Darlene. I feel like this
is something cause you have these kind of I don't
want to say witchcraft, you have these. You have these
sort of folklorish, uh, traditions like I don't know. You
don't you do something with an egg, You wave an
egg around your body to get rid of evil.
Speaker 16 (06:02):
Yeah, you do know a lot of these folk I
don't do that, but that was done to me when
I was little. So my grandma would rub an egg
over my body and it was to be said that
it removes anything bad, bad spirits, bad energy.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
Yes, it makes you a good egg. Yeah, Olympia is
what it's called.
Speaker 8 (06:22):
Okay, this kind of seems in that same family right
up the alley. I've never heard this. Maybe dark your
family has done this. I don't know.
Speaker 15 (06:28):
But if you have a headache, take a lime, cut
it in half, and rub a lime on your forehead.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
Now, I do love that, and then do I lick
salt off my husband's bag?

Here on your Friday Eve, your Thursday August What is
it the sixth already Okay, the decades long mystery of
Amelia earhartz disappearance could be one.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
Step closer to being solved.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
A new expedition will head to the Pacific this October
to investigate an object spotted in satellite images that some
researchers believe could be Airhart's missing plane. Researchers say the
only way to answer this question is to go inspect
the object firsthand and follow the evidence wherever.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
It may lead.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
As you know, the Earhart disappeared in nineteen thirty seven
while trying to become the first woman to fly around
the world. And tomorrow is National Beer Day and to celebrate,
you can crack open your favorite brew, even if you
go the non alcoholic route. But in the future it
could be some kind of weird healthy beer drink. A
new article in Men's Fitness says the next wellness drink
trend could be functional beer. It's basically a beer that's
(08:27):
either non alcoholic or low alcohol that's also fortified with
vitamins and supplements like I don't know, a little bit
of caffeine as well some Oshwagonda and Rishi for stress,
as well as botonicals electrolytes and even probiotics.
Speaker 1 (08:43):
We'll see if if that really truly will be good
for you.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
And this weekend as the tenth annual Cat Video Fest
that brags no script, no plot, no sets, no humans,
as all cats, three hundred and thirty theaters in Canada
and the US screening seventy three minutes of NonStop cat videos.
The Cat Video Fest raises money for feline charities, animal
welfare and shelters.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
Psychology studies have.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
Shown that scrolling cat videos boosts your mood with a
spike of dopamine. And we've heard stories about cheating and cycling.
Who knew that bigger boobs could help eraser? The Tour
de France FEMS is underway, and before yesterday's race, a
couple of teams requested that female race officials check.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
All the riders.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
Those teams suspected that racers had extra padding in their bras,
which allows the win to smoothly glide over erasers chess.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
That means a reduced drag and faster speeds.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
The UCI, Cycling's ruling organization, already has bands in place
for non essential clothing or accessories that might alter a
writer's shape to improve their aero dynamics and now it's
all in the boobs. And Super Bowl sixty one is
set for Valentine's Day. It's so far here in Englewood.
It's the first time the game will be hosted by ESPN,
and Disney says all of their ad spots are sold out,
thirty second spots selling for eight to nine million dollars.
(09:53):
And speaking of football, do you miss the World Cup?
Speaker 10 (09:56):
I do.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
Bessie's playing for Miami. I just love it when he scored.
Speaker 17 (10:00):
Wait on Messy winning up to the pulling up a bully,
but Miami Hot responded, all.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Right, let's go, and we do have a beautiful day day.
It's going to be hot, but not quite as hot
in the valleys. You're gonna hit right at one hundred
everywhere else mid nineties to upper eighties.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
Right now, it is seventy in Burbank.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
It's kost Los Angeles Coast, one of three point five
more Cashlin Coast coming up.
Speaker 6 (10:24):
It's therapy Thursday.
Speaker 10 (10:26):
Something else going on. No, no, no, no, no, he's By.
Speaker 11 (10:29):
The time I got home from work, somebody had called
my wife and said that I was having lunch with
some strange woman.
Speaker 14 (10:35):
He really wants me, then he will leave his wife
and coming at me and like you said.
Speaker 7 (10:38):
Therapy Thursday on the lank Morning Show Coast one of
three point.
Speaker 1 (10:42):
Five Have you ever been love bombed?
Speaker 2 (10:45):
Or the llenk Morning Show We want to Know someone
comes on super strong and you feel like, wait, you
don't even know me yet and you want like a
future with me. It happened to Francis, and Francis met
Eddie as her dentist, and he's what she feels is
being love bombed because he's coming on strong. He he's
(11:08):
an you know, established dentist, and he's got three grown kids.
He's friendly with his x, he's athletic, he's ambitious, he's everything.
He's he seems great. He wants to take her places
like Alaska, Pasa Robols.
Speaker 15 (11:23):
And she's attracted to him. By the way, this has
been nine months that they've known each other. She likes him,
but she doesn't like all the so muchness.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
Surprise lunches.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
See anytime you say surprise lunches, Yeah, well what if
what if you have plans? Like what if you're going
to get a facial or your eyebsurprised?
Speaker 8 (11:39):
No, surprise me.
Speaker 17 (11:42):
Here's what has me just being skeptical. There's no such
thing as a three dollar bill. My Grandma's always said
that too good to be true. Like, can we just
slow it down and figure each other out?
Speaker 1 (11:56):
You know what? Exactly?
Speaker 2 (11:57):
If she's uncomfortable, he's got a sense it, he's he's
got to read the room a little better. Yeah, Eddie,
Eddie's got to read the room and he's not. And
maybe that's another reason why Francis is a little bit
freaked out because he's not He's really he might like her,
but he's not paying attention to her.
Speaker 8 (12:15):
Oh, he's just doing things.
Speaker 1 (12:16):
Yeah, he's not noticing her.
Speaker 8 (12:18):
That's a good point.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
So what's his problem or what's her problem? Thank god
for our therapist, Sarah.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
Sarah, you know this situation is Francis being love bombed.
Speaker 4 (12:31):
Okay, I think that love bomb is a little overused,
and I don't know that it's used in the way
that it technically is indicative of something unhealthy. I mean,
this could just be enthusiasm. He could be decisive. It
sounds like, you know, he has a wonderful relationship with
his ex and that bodes really really well. I am
(12:54):
hearing that there's some overwhelm, and that usually means that
there's like a pacing myth match.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
Okay, but what about this is Francis just being a
spoiled brat. A lot of women would die for someone
to be this attentive and into you, right.
Speaker 8 (13:12):
I just feel like men can't win.
Speaker 4 (13:14):
Well, this dentist I'm calling the dentist okay, may not
be able to win with Francis. One of the things
about love bombing that I think is critical that I
didn't mention before, is you look at how somebody reacts
when you impose a boundary. Do they become angry? Do
they sulk? Or do they try to match your pacing?
Speaker 1 (13:34):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (13:35):
So if any of those, if they become angry, you
know you're being love bombed because it's not working.
Speaker 4 (13:41):
It's telling you some pretty it's giving you some pretty
important data.
Speaker 15 (13:45):
But why would you push this guy away, a successful
fit dentist who wants to love you and take care
of you.
Speaker 8 (13:52):
Why would you push him away?
Speaker 2 (13:54):
Because, as Sarah was saying, he's not right for her.
Speaker 4 (13:57):
And at some point he has to ask himself why
he's pursuing a woman who doesn't share his level of.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
Interest that's the psycho part. Yes, I didn't know it's
psychotic on him. No, No, it is the definition, and
correct me if I'm wrong. Sarah of insanity is doing
the same thing over and over and over again and
getting the same result when you expect another.
Speaker 8 (14:16):
Okay, then why is she in so many failed relationships?
Speaker 4 (14:18):
Right?
Speaker 2 (14:19):
Well, she didn't say she's in a lot of failed relationships.
She said she's had a few.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
Okay, let's go to Laura. Laura, you're hot about it.
Speaker 12 (14:29):
This is insane. How can she even think this guy
is good with his children, friendly and amicable relationship with
his ex. She doesn't know what she wants. I mean,
I'm been single for five years that I could only
wish that this could happen. You know, the guy's being nice.
Maybe on his side, he found somebody that he really
(14:51):
really likes or likes it, possibly sees the future in
and he's showing it. Surprise lunches, Oh my god, poor
baby boohoo. If you show up at the door, you're
a creep. If you don't buy flowers, you're a jerk.
What do you do? What do we want? What do
(15:11):
we want?
Speaker 1 (15:12):
What do we want? We want someone who sees us.
Speaker 4 (15:15):
We want to feel chosen but not claimed.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
Oh shows, but not.
Speaker 7 (15:22):
My god, it's therapy Thursday.
Speaker 11 (15:26):
Something is going on. No, no, no, no no. By
the time I got home from work, somebody had called
my wife and said that I was having lunch with
some strange woman.
Speaker 17 (15:35):
He really wants me.
Speaker 9 (15:36):
Then he will leave his wife and coming get me.
Speaker 6 (15:38):
Like you said, Therapy Thursday on the l and K

Most adults judge someone for this within the first minute
meeting them.

All right, most.

Adults they size you up within one minute of meeting them.

Speaker 9 (17:11):
Jesabeth, I love you guys.
Speaker 6 (17:16):
Cost one oh three point five.
Speaker 2 (17:18):
Most adults judge someone for this within the first minute
of meeting them. So you meet someone new, they say
first impressions or everything. What are you judging within the
first minute. It's not their handshake, But if you've ever
had a limp one, then you know that that's creepy.
It's not their haircut or inside of their car.
Speaker 15 (17:36):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (17:37):
What do you think it is?
Speaker 2 (17:38):
Most adults judge someone for this within the first minute
of meeting them. It's for our entire festival get away.
The on KQ and A will get your guests, name.
Speaker 6 (17:45):
Ra, It's the Ellen k Q and A on Coast
one O three point five. Let's go to.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
Julie and cawabasays Hi, Julie, what are you up to
this morning?

Hii Ellen, good morning. I am on my way to word.
Speaker 1 (17:58):

Oh nice, all right, okay, so let's get you to work.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
Let's get you there on time. Let's get your guest.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
Most adults judge someone for this within the first minute
of meeting them.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
What do you think it is?
Speaker 9 (18:16):
I think it's both that you're wearing.
Speaker 12 (18:17):
I think it's your wardrobe.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
Wardrobe, Wardrobe's a great guest.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
A lot of people are saying wardrobe or you know,
something like that. It's not the right answer. I'm so sorry.

Oh that's okay, thank you all.

What do we judge someone for within the first minute
of meeting them?
Speaker 12 (19:03):
Shoes?
Speaker 6 (19:04):
Shoes?
Speaker 2 (19:05):
They say that women judge men by the shoes they wear.
I disagree with that, but for most adults, judging someone
for this within the first minute, shoes is a popular guest.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
It's not the right answer.
Speaker 14 (19:21):
Be careful, you have a great day.
Speaker 9 (19:25):
Shoes.
Speaker 5 (19:26):
All right.
Speaker 1 (19:27):

Ellen, all right, most adults judging someone for this within
the first minute of meeting them. It's your smile. It's
scientifically proven that it's a quick read. It tells you
if you're in danger, if they're dominant, if they're authentic,
if they're pure joy. So there it is. You're Ellen
KQ and A. We play every day. Thanks for having
us on.

And what about this, MIT, one of the biggest, most
respective labs in the world, just invented a robot that
can fly through the air and swim underwater. So are
we impressed or officially a little bit nervous? A lab
at MIT engineered this three hundred dollars flapping robot.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
It can fly and swim under one.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
Its creator believes the lightweight robot could one day be
used to monitor and ultimately help protect the ocean.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
So we'll see if this thing flies.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
And a bedroom temperature of sixty seven degrees is your
official widely considered ideal data back national average for your
most comfortable sleep. Sleep experts in recent survey show that
maintaining a cool room helps the body drop its core temperature,
allowing you to fall asleep faster and stay in deep
sleep longer. And marmots are hot. They're the world's largest
(22:30):
ground squirrel. There's even an OnlyFans account for marmot's.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
It's g rated. It's called only Marms.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
It was put together by a UCLA professor because they
need the funding for their marmot studies. But this marmot
is feisty. There's one that took a seventy five mile
joy ride under a man's car. It happened in Canada.
This guy named Chris believes the furry stowaway climbed into
the engine compartment during a trip and held on all
the way home, all seventy five miles, going seventy five
(22:57):
miles an hour. He joked it was like the scene
from Mission Impossible where Tom Cruise is holding onto the
side of an airplane. The marmount wandered around the neighborhood
for a few days before returning to his garage. Wildlife
rescuers safely captured this big boy and the animals healthy
and feisty and returned to the wild.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
The good ending for that? And are you bald? Are
you bald and beautiful?
Speaker 2 (23:17):
A Free Bald meetup is taking over Glendale this Saturday
with cash prizes and giveaways.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
Think Pitbull.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
That Free Bald Meetup also gives you cash prizes, giveaways,

three point five.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
It is a therapy Thursday. The topic is love bombing.
Francis got a hold of us. She feels like she's
being love bombed by a successful, handsome dentist named Eddie.
Eddie got it going on, really does, loves to play
golf with his Buddy's great relationship with his ex wife,
three grown adult kids who love him, adore him.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
He's ambitious, he's sweet.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
Francis thinks maybe he's a little too sweet, coming on
too strong. He sends her flowers most days, like's to
surprise her, take her places, But Francis is afraid. She
feels like he doesn't really know her, and she feels
a little love bumped.
Speaker 1 (25:02):
But he just wants her. Eddie wants to spoil her.
Speaker 8 (25:06):
Where are they going this weekend? Tomorrow?
Speaker 2 (25:08):
Oh? He wants to whisk her a way to passle
robles for a romantic weekend of wine tasting.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
Had a charming in.
Speaker 8 (25:16):
She did she get flowers yesterday?
Speaker 5 (25:18):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (25:18):
Yeah, she gets them every day.
Speaker 8 (25:19):
I got it.
Speaker 1 (25:20):
Okay, you brought her lunch too.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
Right, Yeah, he does surprise lunch drop offs, and yeah,
makes those travel plans.
Speaker 6 (25:27):
That's terrible.
Speaker 1 (25:27):
Yeah, well that's Steve. What do you think.
Speaker 10 (25:31):
From my perspective, I think it's something that's wrong with
that's something that she's mirroring, and she's afraid that she's
not enough.
Speaker 2 (25:42):
Oh maybe Eddie is so good she's not good enough
for Eddie.
Speaker 10 (25:46):
Correct, And then she's she's doubting herself. But she's putting
it up as this guy's too much. But then she's
thinking she's too little.
Speaker 1 (25:54):
Got it. Wow, that's a really good, insightful view.
Speaker 10 (25:58):
Thank you you guys. Have a great day. I always
enjoyed this with you guys.
Speaker 1 (26:03):
Ah, thanks Steve. Let's go to Sandimus. Dana. You don't
like this situation at all.
Speaker 9 (26:10):
I'm not a big fan of love bombing, Allan. There's
a big difference between attention, positive attention and love bombing
that borders on obsession for me. So I might have
to check out. I'm not super into the love bombing.
Speaker 2 (26:24):
Thing, and you think this is definitely love bombing, surprise lunches, flowers,
daily text before you wake up saying good morning.
Speaker 9 (26:31):
Definitely, he's way too consumed by the thought of her.
It seems that he's got like nothing else going on,
and that makes me extremely uncomfortable. Definitely.
Speaker 1 (26:41):
Okay, have you ever been loved bombed?
Speaker 9 (26:44):
I have been loved bombed, and if I'm going to
be honest with you, it was the demise of our relationship.
It was a total turnoff for me.
Speaker 8 (26:51):
Dana, How do you prefer to be loved?
Speaker 15 (26:54):
Would you rather the guy not say good morning or
you know, just show like what makes you happy.
Speaker 9 (27:00):
I super loved the good morning. Like I said, the
positive attention is amazing, but the constant twenty four to
seven is alarming. I love the good morning. I love flowers.
Speaker 12 (27:11):
I'm not so.
Speaker 9 (27:12):
Much super into like multiple surprise visits or anything like that.
Doing to travel it shouldn't.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
R R is very upset by this.
Speaker 15 (27:21):
I mean, so far this this guy sounds perfect for you.
Speaker 16 (27:23):
I don't know, I'm just I know he really your
face has been red all day?
Speaker 8 (27:31):
Ah, love you a lot.
Speaker 1 (27:36):
We love you every day.
Speaker 9 (27:38):
Yeah, yeah, there's a fine line, but it sounds like
this guy's just totally overdoing it.
Speaker 6 (27:42):
At least love us back.
Speaker 9 (27:45):
Yeah, I do love you guys very much.
Speaker 6 (27:48):
It's therapy, Ellen.
Speaker 13 (27:49):
I'm freaked out and there's someone trying to mimic my line.
Speaker 6 (27:52):
Help me.
Speaker 5 (27:53):
I just thought by my friend's wife.
Speaker 14 (27:55):
Gregory said, absolutely, run run fast as.
Speaker 12 (27:59):
I possibly can.
Speaker 6 (28:00):
Therapy.
Speaker 7 (28:00):
