She recorded the line at the request of Bad Bunny's producer.
They were theater students in college, so it goes way

So now is that can you do that?
Speaker 3 (03:52):
Well?
Speaker 1 (03:52):

Yes, yeah, you have to clear the samples before you
put it out.
Speaker 2 (04:04):

a she's going to get some money dastardly though?
Speaker 1 (04:13):
Do you think he did it on purpose?
Speaker 3 (04:15):
Just it's done purposely. But if you have it available
to you and you want to use it, and you
use it, you have to clear it.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
I feel like Ryan would be the producer in this situation.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
That he wouldn't go get the clearance. Well, I wish
someone would use my voice.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
I mean I sit there audition for stuff like that,

This one, actually, Ellen comes from you. You don't know
this right now. Oh, there was a conversation that occurred
here in the studio the other day after we were
talking about the coyote that got into Dodger Stadium.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
Yes, yes, yes, because we have coyotes all over Hollywood.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
You know how many live in southern California? How many
a quarter million? Really, two hundred and fifty thousand coyotes
amongst us. And this is their mating season till mid
March right now, till mid March, two months. They just
all they want is food that includes small pets can
be a danger, and they want each other.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
They're bearing babies. Hey, Rihanna, that's.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
What they want.
Speaker 4 (06:50):
They're just like Rihanna. They want more and more babies.
But the problem is that they're a problem.
Speaker 9 (06:55):
You know.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
Yeah, you don't want them to to, you know, get
into your yard and eat your out of your dog or.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
No both, and it has happened.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
We know people that have had their h I don't
mean to be sad, but oh, you mentioned something off
here and I thought, you know what, we have to
share this with everyone, el and said, you know how
to keep them away? I had never heard this.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
It's wolf urine, Yes, wolf urine, wolf urine with pels coyotes.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
I forgot.
Speaker 4 (07:16):
I said that, yeah, and then all of us looked
at you, and you go, well, hey, how do you
know that?
Speaker 1 (07:20):
B Where do you get it? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (07:22):
I went to Studio City Hardware and I was getting
a hinge and I told the guy, because I've been
going there for years, I said, yeah, you know, my
neighbor has a ring camera and all these coyotes keep
popping up and showing up because they have cats. And
he said, oh, you have to buy this wolf urine. Yeah,
and so they sell it there, but they also sell
it on Amazon.
Speaker 4 (07:39):
Yeah, they do twenty five dollars. It's called Foggy Mountain
wolf Urine. Not an ad, just it's helpful for it.
It's a really helpful thing. They say, you set up
a perimeter, okay, create acent barrier around entry points, your
garbage cans, your gardens, anywhere that coyotes are likely to go.
Just spray it. It comes in a spray bottle. It's
the real deal too. It's like, I don't know where
they get it or how they get it, but they get.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
We're gonna any gallons of this for Dodger Stadium.
Speaker 3 (08:02):

We love your letters to Ellen.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
You go to Coast one of three five dot com
and you tap that envelope and then write to us.
So we got one from wife Rosa about her husband Rob.
Did Rob stray with Rosa's best friend while they were separated?
That was the gist of the letter that Rob told
her in therapy that you know, Ros's best friends stop
(08:33):
by with cocktails to see how he was doing, But
neither party ever said anything to Rosa and now she's
finding out.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
But she trusts Rob. So Brian, thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
You heard the letter, You've heard all the calls we've
been getting them now. I mean, I think this goes
down in history as the most calls we've ever received
for a letter to Ellen. But you want to jump
in on this, what's your take?
Speaker 8 (08:54):
It comes down to do you love that person? Do
you trust that person with all of your heart? Tell
you nothing happened, then nothing happened if you trust them.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
Thank you for saying that.
Speaker 8 (09:06):
The only people that know the truth to that are
those two yes, And in time it will show.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
Are you a therapist?
Speaker 9 (09:15):
No?
Speaker 8 (09:15):
I am not. I am what my wife calls a realist, and.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
You trust her with all your heart and she for you.
Speaker 8 (09:24):
Yes, I am an over the road truck driver. Right now,
I'm sitting here in Commerce, California, and I live in Pennsylvania.
I am out for almost a month at a time.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
Okay, and so and she trusts you, oh yeah, and
you trust yourself.
Speaker 8 (09:37):
Oh yeah. I mean I've had women ask like that.
Speaker 1 (09:44):
They call them lot lizards, right.
Speaker 8 (09:48):
Yes, that's in a truck stop. Yes, but I see
other women like when I'm here where I am now,
at the terminal, and it's people. I talk to them.
They work what I own the truck. So I leased
on to another company. And what happened is you run
into other people? Yeah, you sit and talk with them. Yeah,
that's it. That's all there is.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
Yeah, Brian, thanks for having us on in your big rig.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
How big is it? Eighteen wheels?
Speaker 8 (10:14):

It's just like doorn em and play someone else?
Speaker 2 (13:33):
Okay. I think that's great advice. It's great advice. Is
that bully still bullying? He's like, okay, see, I think
you diffused it. I think by ignoring, like the counselor said,
you let that bully know that what he's doing is
wrong and not important and doesn't matter to you because
you are just going to rise above. Ah doesn't My
(13:55):
mom used to always say.
Speaker 1 (13:57):

Speaker 9 (16:24):
I think it's snoring.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
Snoring?
Speaker 2 (16:28):
Whoa, Okay, snoring causes more breakups than cheating.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
It's a great guess. It is not the right answer.
Speaker 5 (16:36):
Come on, it.
Speaker 10 (16:37):
Has to be the right answer.
Speaker 6 (16:38):
I'm visiting for Hawaii.

Hi, Melissa, Hi, good morning, Good morning Melissa. It sounds
like you're in your car.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
Also, yes, where you go in on my way to work? Okay,
what do you do?
Speaker 2 (17:03):
I'm a court reporter for the Standana Courthouse.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
Oh fascinating.
Speaker 4 (17:07):
So you have that little keyboard with like I don't know,
like a modified keyboard and you type really quick.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
Yeah, yeah, really quick with some of these fast soccers.
Speaker 9 (17:16):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
That is such a what a fascinating job.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
It has its moments, a lot of moments.
Speaker 1 (17:24):
It's a good job.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
Yeah. Well, Melissa, let's get your guests. This causes more
breakups than cheating.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
What is it?
Speaker 7 (17:31):
My guess is going to be finances.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
Finances, started arguing about money and how to spend it, finances,
lack of money, whatever it is. It's a great guest.
A lot of people are saying money. It is not
the right answer, but try again.
Speaker 5 (17:43):
Darn okay, I mean.
Speaker 4 (17:46):
Yeah, thank you all.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
So let's go to Orange Melinda at Counterpart Auto Car Parts.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
How are you hi?
Speaker 3 (18:00):
Good, good morning, how are you hey?

We're good. So we hear that you sell classic car parts. Yes,
that's awesome. Well, thank you for having us on. Are
you at work right now?
Speaker 7 (18:10):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (18:10):
I am? Okay, all right, Melinda, So what do you
think it is? It causes more breakups than cheating. I'm
going to say taking someone for granted, taking each other
for granted. That is such a great guess. That is
the right answer. You just want Bruno Mar's tickets. Yay,
thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
It's taking each other for granted.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
You reach that point where you just don't appreciate each
other anymore, which is awful.
Speaker 3 (18:35):
Yes, that's bad.
Speaker 2 (18:36):
Causes more breakups than cheating, and you are the lucky winner.
Thank you so much for having us on at work
and it's playing the Q and A.
Speaker 5 (18:43):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
I don't know why I was talking like a work
voice too. Yes, sometimes you're working, you just can't, you know,
really let a rip because there are other people around here.
Maybe you're listening stealthily, but we are so grateful for you,
So that's what it is. This causes more breakups than cheating.
For Bruno Mars tickets, it is taking each other for granted.
So if that's happening in your life, tell that person
(19:07):
you love how much you appreciate them and love them.
Sometimes maybe we just forget to say it. Say it enough,
all right. Bruno Mars is a Thursday ticket.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
Takeo.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
There is more Bruno where that came from? Here on coast.
Speaker 5 (19:22):

Speaker 1 (19:34):
Top of the Hour of ellen.
Speaker 9 (19:35):
K splashdown of Crew eleven. After one hundred and sixty
seven days in space, Dragon and NASA astronauts A Xena
Cardman and Mike Fink, Kimya Yui of Jackson and russ
Cosmos cosmonaut all at Platinum are back on Earth.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
Yep, those astronauts officially back home. Sweet gravity.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
NASA's crew love and splashing down just after midnight, And
it was a streak in the sky.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
Maybe you were up and saw it.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
The ISS said goodbye to those astronauts. There are three
left there. It's the first time NASA has brought a
crew home ahead of schedule due to a health concern.
But the good news is the astronaut involved the stable
safely on the ground and now has access to full
medical care. And the world's biggest wildlife crossing is coming,
just not as fast as planned. The Wallace Edenburg Wildlife
Crossing over the one oh one and Agra Hills has
(20:18):
hit delays and budget bumps due to weather. Decades in
the making, the bridge will give cougars, bears, and other
wildlife a safe route without becoming roadkill. The original early
year debut has been pushed to November. Speaking of adorable animals,
there is a baby boom.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
At the La Zoo.
Speaker 2 (20:34):
The year began with the birth of a baby Western
Lowland gorilla born and this new arrival marks the fifth
grade eight born of the La Zoo. Just over one
month old, the baby joins an already notable lineup. It
includes three chimpanzees and a bornean orangutan, officially marking what
zoo officials are calling a full on baby boom. And
it was on this day in nineteen sixty seven, January fifteenth,
(20:56):
It was the first ever LA super Bowl, not even
sold out. It was the Let's see, it was the
Green Who was it? It was the Chiefs and the Packers. Yeah,
and the Packers won thirty five to ten. Oh wow,
nineteen sixty seven, first LA super Bowl ever.
Speaker 1 (21:13):
And what about this?
Speaker 2 (21:15):
A strangely morbid but practical app called are You Dead
is the big thing in China. It is the top
of China's app stores. The app is especially popular with
the country's two hundred million people who live alone and
don't want to die alone.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
The concept is simple.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
Users must tap a check in button every day to
confirm that they're still alive. If they miss a check in,
the app automatically alerts and emergency contact person. And this
is the number one app in China. And a beautiful, sunny,
gorgeous day today. Highs near eighty Echo Park. You go
to eighty and Sino seventy five and right now it
is fifty eight in Burbank Kost, Los Angeles.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
It's Coast one of three point five.
Speaker 5 (21:50):

Speaker 5 (21:58):

Speaker 2 (22:00):
Our licensed therapist Sarah Dash with the Allen K Morning Show.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
And Sarah, thanks for being here. Thank you for having me.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
Allen Well, you're helping so many people with free therapy
here on this show. And we got this letter from
Lindsay about her coworker Patty. Okay, so a lot of
times when a new year begins, we have what like
resolutions or things about ourselves we want to work on,
Lindsay said her coworker Patty came back to the offices
here as a whole different person. Okay, she changed her
(22:29):
hair color, her hair style. She now wants to be
called Pinky. She said that that is her nickname. So
she's not Patty anymore. She's Pinky. She has a new
wardrobe and new teeth. She even traded in her forerunner
for Tesla, so literally used her holiday vacation to come
back in the New years as a different person, but
(22:49):
yet the same.
Speaker 7 (22:51):
Right, this is a reinvention of self, and I think
that it's usually a really positive thing.
Speaker 1 (22:57):
It's something to be celebrated.
Speaker 7 (22:59):
I think sometimes we forget that we don't have to
be the same person that we were yesterday. Oh, we
can engage with the world and we can present differently,
And I think that everybody has the right to do that.
And I think it's an opportunity to be supportive of
a coworker who, whatever her reasons are, sounds like a
lot of the changes aren't destructive.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
Or no, not at all, And it seems like she's
wanted to do these things. She went from blonde to redhead,
traded in her forerunner for Tesla.
Speaker 1 (23:30):
New wardrobe and teeth.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
Yeah, and now we're calling her Pinky, which I think
is kind of cute. You know, when you have nicknames
for people, I feel like you're closer to them.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
Yeah, it's sweet.
Speaker 7 (23:40):
I think it's an opportunity to be to be kind
and supportive of somebody who's making positive changes.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
In their life.
Speaker 7 (23:47):
If she had moved to a different city and did this,
it wouldn't be a problem. The thing is, it's with
people who knew her differently, and I think we seek
continuity in people.
Speaker 1 (23:58):
It makes us feel safe for other people.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
So this is not about Pinky. This is about Lindsay.
Lindsay is the one who feels uncomfortable.
Speaker 7 (24:05):
I hear, I hear that it's a little bit about Lindsay,
if you know, if she was describing impulsivity, risk taking.
Speaker 1 (24:12):
Aggressive behavior in somebody. But I don't.
Speaker 7 (24:15):
I don't hear anything negative here, and I hear things
to be celebrated.
Speaker 4 (24:18):
My question is, is this where work life becomes almost unhealthy?
Because why does Lindsay even feel like she has the
right to care.
Speaker 1 (24:26):
About good points.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
It's not like if I shaved my head tomorrow. It
may be alarming for a second for Ellen, but ultimately,
and I love you, Ellen, you have no jurisdiction what
I do with your hair?
Speaker 2 (24:39):
Yes, and I have learned that if you make a change,
I only compliment.
Speaker 1 (24:43):
Thank you. It's true.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
So yeah, if someone if someone has come in with
a new identity, embrace them. This is what they want,
this is who they are. Let's accept them and love them.
But thank you so much, Sarah Dash there be Thursday
and Cash is just It's the LAK Morning Show.
