Thanks for staying and joining us here on your Friday,
even your holiday weekend. We are the llen K Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Mela.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
Hey, I'm Ryan Mano, and we are celebrating Team USA.
What an exciting game. Yes, as it happened since two
thousand and two, I had just pushed out a baby.
Speaker 3 (00:20):
Thanks riving.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
Yeah, twenty four years ago. Let's see what else. Yeah,
we were using dial up and the Osbourne's raised the
big reality show on TV dial up.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
Oh my god. Remember when the Internet used to come
on a CD. They would mail you AOL trials and
you know that's how we got the internet. Everyone's on
a CD.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Thank god for technology, and thank you so much to
Team USA. You know, this is the thing. It's just
uniting the world. It really is, whether the team's win
or lose. Is just seeing on the fans from all
around the world and how we're all the same people.
We celebrate. Yes, victories, there were a lot of well
(01:03):
that red card was.
Speaker 3 (01:03):
Kind of shocking. Oh, oh, terrible call.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
Okay, here's the thing about the FIFA refs to do
you see the entrance they make into the stadiums. They
do it like think of geese flying and then there's
the head guy and I mean they are puffy chests.
They are also stars and they were not having it,
but we did it two to one, and then we
played our theme song, Country Road.
Speaker 4 (01:30):
Taking to the Place.
Speaker 3 (01:39):
Best Virginia.
Speaker 1 (01:42):

Speaker 1 (02:05):
All right back Tooyds to impress your friends at this
weekend's dinner, party, brunch, barbecue, whatever. Joey Chestnut will compete
in the annual Hot Dog eating Contest on Cony Island,
and that happens, of course, on the fourth of July Saturday.
This year is going to be a little different for
Joey because he's serving probation for a drunken bar fight.
ABC and ESPN will air the competition. I didn't know
(02:26):
we got into a draining Yes that one New York
City in LA have planned special celebrations for America's two
hundred and fiftieth birthday Friday night. At midnight, the Times
Square ball will drop for the first time, that's not
New Year's Eve. Then on Saturday, our Coliseum here in
La host America's Block Party, I'll Be Your Voice is
(02:48):
a benefit concert featuring Chris Stapleton, The Smashing Pumpkins, Maren Morris,
Anthony Ramos with host Queen Latifa. So watch for the
stream on the America to fifty site or listen Life
for free on the iHeartRadio. Pretty cool. And what about
the prenut For Tailor and Travis, child custody cannot be
negotiated in a prenupt I did not know that each
has probably waived spousal support in case of a divorce.
(03:11):
New York law does not act as if pet animals
are personal property alike with child custody, who gets the
cats or dogs has to be negotiated in divorce court.
So yeah, it's like the nitty gritty. That's the stuff
you just don't want to think about, you know, especially.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
Before the wedding. He puts a damper on it.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
Yeah, and the wedding is not going to actually have
it at Madison Square Garden. That's the same venue where
Marilyn Monroe serenaded jfk Oh and images have shown the
venue has been swarmed by the National Guard and seventy
NYPD police officers waiting in the wings to keep the
wedding as private as possible. And Ryan, what do you
think of this? So, do you think the couple who
(03:48):
got engaged on top of the Empire State Building did
it because they knew so many police resources were over
at MSG hadn't even thought for the tailor, Travis.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
Hoopla, I don't know. That's wild.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
Yeah, probably they're in jail now. The daredevils that had
climbed to the top of the Empire State Building, they
well you know, their names are Angela and Ivan, and
they're actually the stars of a twenty twenty four document
on Netflix. It's called Skywalker's a Love Story. Love is
like heights. The fear never goes away. You just get
(04:24):
better at facing it.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
Sometimes I would look down at the city and I
couldn't believe how we'd gotten.
Speaker 6 (04:32):
Here illegally climbing buildings.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
Known as rooftoppers. Their videos are exploding across the internet.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
Oh my gosh, some of the angles when they look
down and they're just up there.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
In fact, I even tried to stop angel at one point,
saying your rooftopping is way too dangerous.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
Oh so she's like the real leader. She's the one.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
She's the one that wants to just go go, she
wants to walk on every top.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
You think that proposal was real or was that just
kind of a fake proposal.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
I kind of want to believe in love.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
I mean imagine she said no, be along, climbed down.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
Oh jeez, it's Thursday.
Speaker 6 (05:05):
Something is going on.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
No, no, no, no, no, he's seating.
Speaker 6 (05:08):
By the time I got home from work, somebody had
called my wife and said that I was having lunch
with some strange woman.
Speaker 7 (05:14):
He really wants me, then he will leave his wife
and coming at me, and like you said.
Speaker 5 (05:18):

exhibits and cool art to look at.
Speaker 8 (06:05):
Oh, I know, I've heard about it and I've always
wanted to go.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Oh yeah, what's your son's name, Alex? How old is he?
Speaker 8 (06:14):
He is twenty four?
Speaker 1 (06:16):
Oh that's my son's age too. So much fun to
hang with an adult son, it really is.
Speaker 8 (06:24):
Yeah, I love doing things with him. I know you

Coast one O three point five The ellen K Morning.
This is the ellen K Morning Show.
Speaker 6 (06:41):
This is going to be the most excitingest thing I've
ever done.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Coast one O three point five.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
Yeah. Hey, So here's your hack today. If you're headed
to a fourth July barbecue this weekend, if you want
to enjoy it more, there's one trick volunteer to help. Seriously,
don't be the person who shows up empty handed and
immediately parks in the lawn chair. We all know what
leave one who makes you think you know? Really dug
you see me struggling over here.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
Okay, well Ryan, you did the opposite. You showed up
with lots of roles for our Thanksgiving feast. But when
I said could you carve the turkey? You said, I
don't know how?
Speaker 10 (07:17):
Right?
Speaker 1 (07:18):
Am I remembering it correctly?
Speaker 3 (07:19):
That's true? But I did bring the rolls and I tried.
That's what brings me to this happiness. Heck, okay, researcher
is fine that people who actually pitch in, even in
small ways, have a much better time. It's scientifically proven
because the brain feels like you're part of creating the party,
not just appending. That's right, and that stronger sense of
belonging actually boosts your happiness. It makes the fun more rewarding.
(07:40):
And I love this part. It actually makes the memories
stick longer.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
So true, you scotted at the carving knife. Yeah, but
you took all your roles.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
You brought one hundred.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
Ryan brought one hundred rolls different times. Yeah, and you
displayed them in giant bowls.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
I did something. I remember it well.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
Everyone was like, look at all that.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Right, Yes, it's a clear memory. We had a great time.
So seriously this week, can flip a few burgers, grab
the ice, refill the chips up. Oh yes, that's why.
The secret ingredient to a happier barbecue isn't the potato salad.
It's pitching in Ben the knee dog, then the.
Speaker 5 (08:14):
Knee one of three point five the ll K Morning
it's the llen K Morning Show.
Speaker 10 (08:18):

you throughout the morning to go to the sold out
show at Sofi. Okay, here we are bring on the
Round of sixteen. The USA is moving on to the
FIFA World Come to.
Speaker 3 (08:47):
The United States. Despite being down a man for half
an hour has been mob's had hurts Covina. That has
God on to the next round of the World time.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
Yeah, as it happened in two thousand and two. My
boy was just a little baby, and he had set
his first words by now and well. First word was mom. Help.
Next Monday night, Belgium in Seattle, Let's go. And after
months of searching for Nancy Guthrie, Savannah's missing mom, the
FBI now confirming the ransom letters sent to TMZ are
all fake. These are the ones purporting to have seen
(09:18):
Nancy alive and Sonora Mexico, also knowing the identities of
her abductors, one even going so far as to say
he has video proof. The Bureau hasn't said how they
know the notes are bogus, but that's their final finding.
It's been one hundred and fifty two days since Nancy
Guthrie's kidnapping, and first it was Lebron and the Lakers.
Now another high profile breakup. Target and Alta, the longtime
(09:40):
store in a store partnership between the beauty brand and
the big box behemoth, is broken. They'll stay together through July,
but come August it is ovah and we're starting to
warm enough for the holiday weekend. We just want to
say thank you so much the Internet, says Neil at
the Altar of Willis Carrier, He is the inventor of
the air condition and it's going to be a hot weekend.
(10:02):
Carrier air was invented in nineteen o two, and we
are womitted up for your holiday weekend highs, hopping up
to eighty plus today, then a stretch of nineties to

(11:04):

But I'm so happy that you can win them. Right
here this morning a pair of BTS tickets so far
sold out show and we're qualifying. You were putting your
name in our captain's hat. You might say, why a
captain's hat because this weekend here on coast it is
(11:24):
a yacht rock weekend. So we've got the captain's hat.
Plus you are the captain of our mornings. That's right.
Speaker 3 (11:30):
And that BTS video swim they're on a ship and
they're wearing captain's hats. So it works. Why not let's
do it.
Speaker 1 (11:35):
And you know what else, we're gonna whoever wins, we're
gonna give you the captain's hat too. Ticket it's beautiful too.
This one's special. It's got the gold rope on the front.
That's so pretty. Yeah, So we're live with you the
L and K Morning Show. It's therapy Thursday. You know,
you can always come to us with whatever's on your mind,
(11:56):
and we're so happy you feel comfortable doing that. So Wendy,
we are here to help you with whatever it is.
You know, you can always trust us.
Speaker 10 (12:07):
I know.
Speaker 8 (12:07):
It's just I have three kids, and believe it or not,
they're in daycare and you know, they're going to start soccer,
and some of these moms, like I just don't feel
comfortable with my husband around them. So we get into
a ton of arguments because he thinks he's being friendly
with them. But I'm like, you don't know how they're
going to take it.
Speaker 3 (12:26):
Yeah, for sure, I.
Speaker 8 (12:27):
Don't know if you agree with me?
Speaker 1 (12:29):
WHOA what do they like openly flirt with him or
is he flirting with them? What's going on?
Speaker 6 (12:35):
Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 8 (12:36):
That's the thing. I'm like, what is going on when
I'm not around, when I'm going to work and you're
dropping the kids off, that they're this friendly with you?
Speaker 6 (12:43):
Because most women they're.
Speaker 8 (12:44):
Not that open and direct, you know. So I feel
he's being friendly or with them when I'm not around
that they feel like there might be something more there.
And they're single moms, you know, and they don't have
anyone in their life, so they don't know maybe or
maybe not. Some woman just don't care.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
Right, Some women do not care. You are absolutely right, Wendy.
I'm so sorry that's happening to you. Sounds like you
don't trust your husband, you don't trust the women. And
I think that this should be open to an investigation.
I'll tell you what.
Speaker 3 (13:13):
I what open to an investigator? What are you do?
What do you mean forensic? What are you thinking about?
Speaker 1 (13:20):
I mean, I mean that she needs to witness it more.
When she's saying when she's not around, she's not sure
what's happening, and so you know, women are going to flirt. Look,
I remember looking over in the football stands and there
was a single mother just all over my husband. Oh,
and he was sitting there. I mean, of course he's
not gonna be rude, but she was like draped on him,
(13:41):
and I was just like whatever, you know what, some
women get validation out of that.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
And so I don't.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
Really blame the women as much because some women operate
the way I have one friend. All she wants to
do is entice. She doesn't really want the guys, She
just wants them to want her. And so I think
that you know, the shame or the flame come when
the person who goes for it.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
That why how well, because the person wouldn't go for
it if the first person didn't initiate it.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
Yeah, but you can't say, well, you were doing that,
so of course I'm gonna reciprocate. Like if someone came
up and flirted with you hard and you fell for it,
that's your fault. It's not my fault, but it is
your fault because you fell for it.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
It's the person who starts the flirting.
Speaker 1 (14:21):
But no, it's not. It's the person who actually responds
to the flirting and sees it.
Speaker 3 (14:26):
Oh, I wouldn't fall for it. Oh, yes, I wouldn't
fall for Yeah, I wouldn't fall for it.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
You have single women coming up to you at a
soccer game, you're in a relationship, and you wouldn't fall
for it. And then one of them, I'm in the
park with the flat tire. Could you please come help me?
Speaker 3 (14:42):
Yeah? I would go help. It's a flat tire. Of course,
doesn't mean it.
Speaker 12 (14:45):
I see it when I go pick up my daughters
from school. These women are dressed like they just worked out.
Short skirts can be closed. I'm like, really, what are
you doing?
Speaker 1 (14:53):
Well, they're looking for you monkey.
Speaker 12 (14:55):
I'll investigate.
Speaker 3 (14:55):
I don't know, I'll have to do it.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
Single mothers call us. We want to know what are
your tax and do the married guys or the guys
who are in really do they go for it? It's
eight hundred and nine two nine kost I really, I
just really want to know because I really miss school
drop off and now I miss it even more.

fill in the blank women, you guys, women fall for
bad boys because of their blank? What could that be?
It's eight hundred ninety two nine k OSD. All of
our Q and a's are scientifically proven. So why do
(16:16):
women fall for bad boys? It's because of their blank.
We're going to fill in that blank. We're going to
send you a sea world.
Speaker 5 (16:21):

Speaker 3 (17:00):
Thank you waiting there.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
It seems like a muthful right there, it is, all right, Jesse,
let's play. Women fall for bad boys because of their
blank fill in that blank.
Speaker 6 (17:14):
Well, my guess is because of their physique.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
Their physique, and that could be a lot of things.
They're rich, yeah, the whole thing. They go shirtless, and
that's a great guess. A lot of people are saying physique.
It is not the right answer, Jesse. But try again.
Enjoy your great breakfast, put that hash brown on it,
and try again.
Speaker 6 (17:37):
Okay, thank you so much, thank you.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
It's going to Angie, Hi Angie. Where are you calling from?
All right, Palm Desert? Well, thank you for streaming us

Speaker 13 (17:49):
I'm gonna say maybe it's just the thrill of it,
that like danger, like that dopamine hit.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
Oh, women fall for bad boys because of the thrill.
Speaker 3 (17:58):
That's a great guess.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
You know a lot of people are also saying thrill,
but it's not the right answer. Oh close, Okay, have
you ever dated a bad boy? No?
Speaker 3 (18:09):
I kind of go for the good one. You never
had a faith, you didn't even have a phase.
Speaker 11 (18:13):
Maybe no, actually I like good nice.
Speaker 9 (18:18):
I should give it a try.

Oh yeah, for sure.
Speaker 3 (19:34):

the party that probably.
Speaker 1 (19:38):

Were the LAK Morning Show. Thank you for having us

oh three point five. Top Stories, Top of the hour.
Good morning, I'm Ellen K and this is big if true.
An invited guests to Taylor and Travis's weekend wedding says
the ceremony is not happening at Madison Square Garden. His
(20:25):
name is Anthony Jabin. He's a celeb memorabilia collector who
apparently met Taylor at the Super Bowl when she was
there with Travis. He let it slip at the MSG event.
Is only a reception. TMZ asked, is the wedding at
the same place as the reception.
Speaker 10 (20:44):
No, it is not at the same place as the party, right,
but it is the same day of the party, exactly.
Speaker 3 (20:50):
I just want to repeat.
Speaker 10 (20:52):
So the wedding and the party are the same day,
but the wedding is not at the same place as
the party, right.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
Okay, there it is comfortformation from someone who is going
all right, thank you for that, Anthony. He couldn't say
any more. He didn't want to get uninvited. And the
daredevil couple who climbed to the tippy top of the
Empire State Building for a proposal have been arrested and id'days.
Speaker 14 (21:14):
Climbed to the top of the Empire staves over the
top of the spire.
Speaker 6 (21:18):
Oh that's awesome.
Speaker 12 (21:19):
It's a little hot.
Speaker 1 (21:20):
For that, isn't it. Angela and Ivan are their names.
They're actually the stars of a doc on Netflix. It's
called Skywalker's a True Love Story. Came out in twenty
twenty four, so it's kind of their thing. It's unclear
how they were able to access the spire of New
York's fourth Talels building, or if the proposal was for
Reels and Miley has a Barbie and now Olivia Rodrigo
(21:40):
has Lego. For the first time ever, the iconic toymaker
has launched multiple sets dedicated to a musical artist. There's
five in total. Super Cute Too. Pre orders open today
and the full collection drops August first, and we are
starting to warm it up as of today, Marine Layer
burning off. You're going to get highs in the mid
eighties and then we're going to launch into the nineties
for the next five day or so. That'll be for
(22:02):
your holiday too. July fourth, looking for a high ninety
Right now, it is sixty five in Burbank. It's KOST
Los Angeles Coast one O three point five. We got
twenty five hundred dollars with your name on it. I
give you a keyword to win it coming up right here,
keep it locked in.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
It's the L and K Morning Show. Like when I
listen to it, I just like get a motion host.
One oh three point five.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
Wow, this song really takes me back to a day
not too long ago, David Beckham getting his star on
the Hollywalk of Fame and Tom Cruise was there and
I spent a lot of time with Tom Cruise that day.
And that is the theme from top Gun as you know.
So when I we first locked eyes, I said hello,
Tom Cruise and then that was it. We were holding my.
Speaker 3 (22:47):
Hand with both of his like the clasp like yours
was inside me.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
Yeah, it was really something. So whenever I that song
that we play all the time and goes, I think,
give you Tom Cruise theme from Top Gun. It's working
on the third one right now, kind of top secret,
the Top Gun and where the only came warning show.
I'm Ellen, I'm Ryan Man and a producer Mike Gromos,
and we just want to thank Air Tasker for sponsoring
(23:13):
our podcast. Therapy Thursday is a podcast. It's on your
iHeart app or wherever you get your podcasts. We started
it on the radio. I Heart goes. We want that. Yeah,
So now that's a podcast and air Tasker is our partner.
Speaker 3 (23:25):
It's also on YouTube so you can tune in to watch.
I'm loving some of the comments, especially about our guest star,
therapist Saradaph. Someone says I have attachment issues to her. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (23:36):
When you go to YouTube, all you have to do
is search Therapy Thursday pod and it's our Therapy Thursday
podcast and Air Tasker came on board right away. Thank you,
Air tasker. So life gets busy, maybe there's something even
putting up for weeks or something that pops up. Local
taskers can help you out with that. You just post
a task and they get anything done. Like if you
want to wipe your socials from an X, they can
(23:58):
do that. Physic tasker for that. Or Mike, you need
a fire pit this weekend and you could hire a
tasker to go wait in line a hunting to beach
to get that.
Speaker 12 (24:07):
You have to be there at three four in the morning.
So I don't want to do that. I need to
task her for that.
Speaker 3 (24:11):
That's right, that's right, Get anything done.
Speaker 1 (24:13):
Okay, therapy Thursday. All right, Desiree, thank you so much
for coming on with us. Your dad passed a year ago,
your parents married over thirty years. That's tough and a
lot has you know, gone on for you. But now
you're dealing with something else. It's not even about your dad,
So Desiree, tell us what's up.
Speaker 13 (24:32):
Why I'm calling is actually because of my mom, and
it's it's breaking my heart in a way. But basically,
a few months ago, my mom joined a dating app
and I then found out that she joined another dating
app and then another, so she was like going full force.
Speaker 7 (24:54):
Okay, she's got.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
A big appetite dates. She's really looking for connection.
Speaker 7 (25:00):
Oh every time, it's like it's trying to punch to
my gut. Like I'm still trying to process losing my dad,
and a part of me just feels like she's moving
on a way too fast.
Speaker 15 (25:13):
I don't think she's trying to erase him or his memory.
I think she's trying to erase the pain. Oh, because
it's a tremendous loss.
Speaker 1 (25:22):
It's a tremendous loss for all of you. I'm wondering,
are you worried for her safety or her mental state?
You know, like Sarah's saying, question it's a mental state thing.
My first impression was, Oh, my god, I'm a little
worried about her safety just hanging out with random men. Yeah. Good.
Speaker 13 (25:44):
Obviously she's brand new to the apps. Think she's never got.
Speaker 15 (25:49):
She was never a relationship with your dad for thirty
seven years.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
She hasn't been out and about.
Speaker 3 (25:54):
And I think you're kind of projecting what you would
do or don't want your mom to do. But you
can't have two things in the same sentence. I know
everyone grieves differently, but I don't like it. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (26:08):
I know it's hard.
Speaker 15 (26:09):
But part of your work, it's going to be part
of the work of you grieving your father, is to
accept that your mother's life, it does.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
Belong to her. Will she hit a wall where she
has some kind of other reaction to this death that
I don't feel she's dealing.
Speaker 15 (26:29):
With her I'm going to let you answer that question
before I.
Speaker 7 (26:33):
I mean, yeah, yeah, that's a fear too, of course,
Like you know, that is definitely a fear, like because
she just masking is just a band aid, you know.
Speaker 15 (26:45):
I think it depends on how much grieving she has
already done, and she may be doing her grieving privately.
Speaker 1 (26:52):
Oh okay, we can't assume.
Speaker 16 (26:53):
That just because she is engaging in the world fully
more fully than does it right with life right, that
she is not grieving very quietly.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
We don't know that. We're not in her head.
Speaker 15 (27:06):
It might require you to reframe your mother's moving on
as not a replacement for your father.
Speaker 1 (27:15):
It's just something different.
Speaker 13 (27:17):
Yeah, I hear that, I do.
Speaker 15 (27:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (27:21):
Wow, this is so helpful.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
Okay, I'm so glad.
Speaker 7 (27:25):
Thank you, and hang in there and I.
Speaker 15 (27:27):
Just want to say that I am so sorry for
your loss and so sorry.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
Thank you, no, thank you, thanks, Desiree. There are over
fifteen hundred dating apps in existence.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
What that's a lot of men.
Speaker 1 (27:41):
Out there for mama to, you know, I guess handle
her life. You don't need to, okay, anyway, if this
has happened to you, if your mom is on too
many dating apps, you can call us. It's eight hundred
and ninety nine, kost what.
Speaker 3 (27:58):
She's worried about? Three You don't need to say. There's
four fourteen ninety seven still to explore.

So we are big Willy Wonka fans and Gene wild
His voice has been remade with AI for a Willie
Wonka reality series. That's a teaser for Wankah's the Golden Ticket.
Speaker 3 (30:08):
The area numbers. You're one, yeah, but this is the
whole new generation of real life Golden ticket holders will.
Speaker 12 (30:18):
Compete for a life changing prize or say I'm most unfortunate.
Speaker 1 (30:25):
I think it's a good tribe. But it's not Gene Welder.
Speaker 3 (30:28):
To me, that's an AI and he has so much soul,
so much in every word that he delivered, you can't
recreate it.
Speaker 1 (30:36):
My son works in AI and so he one of
his papers he wrote when he was at Stanford for
his masters. He wrote this paper and he put a
photo with it, and two photos. One was him like
throwing up a fictitious baby in the air and smiling,
and the other one was him throwing up a computer
in the air. And that's the difference between us and AI.
(30:58):
And that's what I hear with this fake gene world. Yeah,
well anyway, it's called Monca's the Golden Ticket Reality Series.
Speaker 3 (31:05):
Uh with that? Whoever that is?
Speaker 4 (31:08):

it is the best selling jersey in their history. It
is a good looking jersey. I don't have any We
gotta jeck it out and congrats again to Team USA
(32:11):
for advancing. All right, so it is therapy Thursday, and
we heard from Desiree. She's worried about her mother. Her
mother's on every dating app imaginable. There are a lot
of dates, there are a lot of late nights out,
there's a lot of coffee dates, bar dates, dinner dates,
weekend dates. Desiree thinks that her mom is trying to
band aid the loss of well, her dad, her husband.
(32:32):
They were married over thirty years and now Desiree's mom
is a little bit boy crazy or is she or
is she just trying to deal with it.
Speaker 3 (32:42):
But also we don't get to dictate how someone else grieves.
Speaker 1 (32:46):
Really, right, it's her life, That's what our therapist, Sardaesh said,
it's her mother's life. So Desiree needs to realize that,
no matter what is happening, this is a life that
belongs to her mom. Yeah, Carolina, you heard therapy Thursday,
so you have a take on it.
Speaker 9 (33:04):
Also, Okay, this is my story. So my mother got
married with my father. They met down in Baja California, Mexico.
My father was funny till my mother was fourteen. He
ran away. They came to the United States for a
better life here. They lasted Mary for fifty five years. Wow,
my father passed away. My mother was really really sad,
(33:27):
and I forced my mother to start going to the
Senior Citizen Center hid and Gino. I said, no, you
are going. You're not staying home alone. So there she
had another life. He made all kinds of friends. He
even met a boyfriend. My mother only spoke Spanish, so
she's there a boyfriend that spoke English and they would
(33:48):
communicate over the phone. And I remember my mother hearing
telling him I love you, I love you. And that
was like within six months and my father passed away.
You know, I kept I didn't tell my brothers and
sisters anything by but it was you. To see my
mother evolve and have another life.
Speaker 1 (34:11):
Yeah, yes, to see her smile again and to see
someone light her up like that, it made you. It
made everyone feel good.
Speaker 9 (34:19):
I feel for that for that daughter, because it didn't
hurt me to see my mother happy. I was happy
for my mother even though I was giving about my father.
But it's so different light.
Speaker 1 (34:30):
Yes, yes, yes, oh my gosh. Well, thank you so much.
That's a really hopeful story.
Speaker 9 (34:35):
Thank you, Okay, thank you Alan.
Speaker 1 (34:38):
Thank you Carolina. Therapy Thursday. It's a podcast. You can
also see it on Well, this is where everyone's going.

cover catching feelings.

can see Sarah there, catch them feels for her.
Speaker 2 (35:03):

fun to be had. You also get ten Riser Carnival
Games of your choice, so that's actually twenty because it's

Speaker 1 (35:35):
You get forty rise You Carnival Games of your choice
along with your four pack, and that is just ahead.
We're also going to continue qualifying you for BTS. I'm
going to give you my tickets. That's so fine, sold out.
I waited in line. I have to do a gig
that night, so they're yours. We're gonna draw this hour
(35:58):
at nine forty five out of a half. Okay, So
we're still learning more about the couple that got engaged
on top of the Empire State Building. What is the
latest Ryan?
Speaker 3 (36:07):
So this couple purchased tickets to do a tour of
the Empire State Building, just like everyone else does. When
we go see it, right, you go a great tour.
Here's what happened. They hid in a bathroom for a
while overnight and then found like some other hidden place,
and then they made they unscrewed a bunch of stuff
and got through like a security hatch, no, a maintenance hatch,
is how, and then they hid there again. And that's
(36:29):
how they got up to the spire.
Speaker 1 (36:30):
I heard it took months of like stalking and plotting
and investigating to get this plan together.
Speaker 3 (36:37):
Do you know what floor they were on when they
when they got when they broke through the hatch?
Speaker 1 (36:40):
Well, I do know that because they were on the
one hundred and third floor for one oh three point
five and now they're facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges.
So like what if the engagement was real and now
they have to go away for years to prison and
they can't even be together anyway. Pilot informed air traffic
(37:03):
Control in New York what he was seeing on top
of the Empire State Building. Yeah, what's all the hoopla
going on?
Speaker 6 (37:08):
Over there's a climb to the top of the Empire
stable over.
Speaker 5 (37:12):
The top of the spire.
Speaker 6 (37:14):
Oh that's awesome.
Speaker 12 (37:15):
It's not some work or changing the light of it.
Speaker 4 (37:18):
Nah, it's the male females dress in black.
Speaker 9 (37:21):
They had some flag they were waving when they were
up at the top, and he just.
Speaker 2 (37:26):

Speaker 15 (37:28):
You.
Speaker 1 (37:29):

Speaker 15 (38:04):
I'm on my way to work in North Hollywood.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
Okay, what do you do? No, hope, I work in
arts apartment.
Speaker 3 (38:11):
So I'm going to be building a fake roof today.
Speaker 1 (38:13):
Oh what is it for? For a TV show or
a wedding or swifts wedding?
Speaker 10 (38:17):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (38:19):
No, very commercial?
Speaker 1 (38:21):
Okay, Okay, do you know what the product is?
Speaker 8 (38:24):
I can, but I can't talk about Okay.
Speaker 1 (38:26):
All right, fake does someone falls through the roof because
I'm thinking that it's what is that insurance guy that
falls he's Mayhem Mayhem like me. No, it's not for that.
Speaker 3 (38:38):
That would be really fun.
Speaker 1 (38:40):
Those Okay, okay, this is a fake roof.
Speaker 3 (38:42):

Speaker 1 (38:46):

Yeah?
Speaker 3 (38:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (38:53):
So also so every day it's kind of a different project.
Speaker 1 (38:56):
I love that. Well, congratulations, enjoy the fair, and thank
you for having us on in your ride.
Speaker 4 (39:02):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 5 (39:04):
Morning Shows pass pos.
Speaker 2 (39:12):
Post one three point five.
Speaker 1 (39:14):
Okay, so let's talk about this, shall we? The wedding tomorrow,
the big Madison Square celebration for Taylor and Travis. Can
you believe it's already here? That's Crazy's a guy named
Anthony Jabbin and he's Jabbin, he really is. He's jaw Jacken.
He's a celebrity memorabilia collector and he's gone viral. He
(39:37):
apparently knows Travis. He met Taylor at the super Bowl,
he got invited to the wedding. He let it slip
that the MSG event is only a reception. He didn't
say where the vowels will be exchanged, but he was asked,
will it be at MSG No, it.
Speaker 10 (39:54):
Is not at the same place as the party, right,
but it is the same day of the party, exactly.
Speaker 3 (40:00):
I just want to repeat.
Speaker 10 (40:01):
So the wedding and the party are the same day,
but the wedding is not in the same place as the.
Speaker 1 (40:07):
Party, right, Okay, Anthony Jabin.
Speaker 3 (40:09):
So what does this mean?
Speaker 8 (40:10):
Now?
Speaker 1 (40:10):
What do we think this means? The wedding's somewhere else,
like where, like maybe in a church.
Speaker 3 (40:14):
Okay, but it could it be just house, a small
thing like in Rhode Island, at her house and then
they chopp her to Madison Square Garden to celebrate with
all these people.
Speaker 1 (40:22):
I don't know, because they're you know, the family and friends,
and you've got to get all the way. And it's
also going to be on a Friday. I'm thinking traffic.
I think is somewhere in the city because the reception
we know starts at four pm. I don't know why
we all know she.
Speaker 3 (40:36):
Is.
Speaker 1 (40:38):
I just like her music. Hi, this is Taylor Swift right,
this is that Sharon Hey.
Speaker 13 (40:42):

You know a lot of names.
