Speaker 11 (06:05):
Coast one O three point five The llen K Morning Show.

Speaker 5 (06:08):
This is the Lank Morning Show.

Speaker 9 (06:10):
You guys are like more habit for me than a
coup of coffee.

Speaker 5 (06:13):
Coast one oh three point five, We're the Llenk Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
We're going to hack your happiness. And this is a
Harvard study. So Harvard studies happiness and I love this one.
And so my mom, Eileen, who passed away from lung cancer,
actually beat breast cancer. And when she did that, she
was just so positive every day because her doctor said,

(06:39):
you keep a positive, you know, attitude, which she was
kind of born with anyway. So my husband nicknamed her
Optimistic Eileen.

Speaker 10 (06:47):
Oh.

Speaker 7 (06:49):
My sister had the same perspective when she went through
her cancer journey. I remember looking at her and she
was always my little sister. Yeah, and then when that happened,
I started looking up to her because I'm like.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Wow, I should beat it. Yeah she did.

Speaker 11 (07:02):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
Yeah, it was not an option. She just kept it
straight positive.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
I'm telling you it works.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
So this Harvard study of two hundred thousand women over
years and years and years shows it's a large scale
study that optimistic people live fifteen percent longer and have
seventy five percent greater odds of living to the age
of eighty five. Optimism reduces inflammation, It lowers your stress,

(07:28):
It improves your cardiovascular health, and enhances your immune functions
so that you don't get sick as often biological changes
that extend both lifespan and health span. So not only
if you have a good attitude just about things that
are very, very hard to do or get through. I
promise you you're going to live such a happier life. After

(07:50):
she beat breast cancer, my mom went fifteen years and
then the lung cancer, which was a weird genetic thing,
popped up.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
But every day, she said.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
She would she would go down her staircase and there
was a landing and it had all these photos of
all of us and grandkids, and she would stop and
say good morning to each of us every morning. And
she even when she was diagnosed with lung cancer. She's
so optimistic. And of course she had great, you know,
drug trials and things like that, but she she would

(08:20):
just thank God for every day. And she went eight
years battling this horrible disease. So just whatever it is,
you're up against have a good attitude.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
We promise it were so does a Harvard.

Speaker 5 (08:31):
That's your happiest Heck, it's the L and K Morning Show.

Speaker 8 (08:34):
I love you guys. Thank you for everything you do.
You guys make our day good or bad. You guys
are always there. Thank you so much.

Speaker 5 (08:39):
Host one oh three point.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
Five Top Stories Top of the Hour. Good morning, I'm
Ellen K And it's tax day. Unless you filed or
file an extension. Clock is ticking the good news. According
to IRIS data, the average refund is up eleven percent
from last year. Roughly thirty five hundred dollars coming back
at you.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
And if you still haven't sent them in, you're not alone.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
About thirty five percent of us wait until literally today
to even start tackling them.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Hey, you think our potholes are bad, listen to this one.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
A seventy five year old mayoral candidate in Johannesburg, South Africa,
is seeking some help for their massive potholes.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
They are so big.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
He went and put on a wetsuit, a mask, and
a snorkel and a swim cap to navigate a muddy,
brown water pothole. It's that big, he said. He's not
going to get out of this pothole until he gets
some action filling all of them. The stun highlighting infrastructure
failures plaguing Africa's wealthiest city. But he said, I'm going
to be in this pothole until you start filling them.

(09:38):
I guess he had a pretty bad accident going into
that big one. Can you imagine. And an AI agent
in San Francisco opened a store. It's the first retail
store and experienced a staffing mishap on opening day. It's
called and in Market and it's managed by an artificial
intelligence agent created. The company gave the three year lease
and one hundred thousand dollars budget to run this shop,

(09:59):
but the AIA and open the store and forgot to
schedule staff. So said they had to go back to
the drawing board on that one. And calling someone to
the birthday could be the new six seven started on
TikTok and now it's gone viral. If you call someone
the birthday, you the birthday could be a good or
bad thing.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
Okay, let's go for the bad thing first.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
It means that you're accusing them of main character syndrome,
like someone who's trying too hard or expecting birthday like
attention from everyone in the room, or if you say hey,
you the birthday, you're describing a person who's the whole vibe,
someone who lights up a room and brings energy and joy.
And we have that with our weather today, sunny, beautiful
highs up to seventy five. Not a cloud in the

(10:39):
sky here in Burbank.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
And coming up, we're gonna send you to Shakira. You're
Llen KQ and A. It's KOST Los Angeles. Coast one

Speaker 3 (11:22):
Anything you need help with.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
This one's from Jeremy dear Ellen. About a month before
our recent spring break to the Bahamas, my wife Hannah
announced that she had taken care of the hotel and
spending money for a family vacation. I was thrilled, but
kind of stunned because we don't have cash reserves that
I know of. Anyway, When I asked her where her
stash came from, she told me that she started saving secretly.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
And I left it at that. I let it go.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
The trip was beautiful, the sunset's unbelievable, the rum drinks
had little umbrellas.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
I was so happy.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
But then last week my buddy texted me out of
the blue asking if my wife had an OnlyFans page.
I asked her directly and she said yes right away,
but at it its non adult content. I trust her,
but I'm hurt she did it behind my back. I
asked what she did and she said lifestyle based hacks
and tips, and that at one point she did climb

(12:15):
a ladder in shorts to replace a light bulb.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
Oh okay, I would be so happy.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
If my husband surprised me with this.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
I would be like, yes, I would be too. Oh okay,
he goes on.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
Here's where I'm at the Bahamas were spectacular. The resort hading,
swim up bar, we went snorkelaying, our kids made sand
castles for three days straight. It was the best family
trip we've ever taken. But now I'm wondering what my
adorable Bahama mama did for this vacation. Maybe the worry
for you swim a bar with her, with her and
the kids was worth moving on in silence? Please help Jeremy.

(12:50):
Who does Jeremy move on in silence or does he
try to find out more information?

Speaker 3 (12:55):
Jeremy, zip it. I would zip it and just be happy.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
Yeah, be happy. The initial shock is kind of you know,
only fans. It has this stigma being racy.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
Yeah, But after that, nothing else went on, so it's fine.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
So she says, right.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
I like that she admitted it to it right away,
But I don't understand why she didn't tell him before
that she's got a secret project going on, and she
promises she's not going to do anything adult but that
she is gonna see what happens on.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
Only like, why not share that?

Speaker 7 (13:25):
I feel like, in I'm thinking of my situation, my
husband probably just doesn't care about all the extra projects
that I take on yeah, so I'm thinking maybe he
just didn't care enough to notice.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
Okay, right, all right.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
You know, because we're doing life every.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
Day, that's right.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
And maybe it was the fact that his buddy let
him know and his wife did it.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Let's help Jeremy. So does he just zip it or
does he dig in further? Only fans, but I mean
climbing climbing ladder wearing shorts.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
It's a little much, but fire more shorts.

Speaker 6 (14:02):
It's one ninety nine kosg It's the L and K

Jeremy wrote to us, we'll dig in coming up.

Speaker 5 (21:05):
It's the Ellen k morning Shell.

Speaker 9 (21:07):
I love her, I love his eyes, I love everybody.

Speaker 5 (21:10):
Right now host one O three point five.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
We love your letters to Ellen. Right to Ellen for
advice because she's seen a thing or two.

Speaker 6 (21:18):
She is Ellen.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
Today's letter from Jeremy about his wife Hannah.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
Dear Ellen, About.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
A month before our recent spring break trip to the Bahamas,
my wife Hannah announced she had taken care of the
hotel and spending money for our family vacation. I was thrilled,
but a little stunned because we don't have cash reserves
that I know of Anyway. When I asked where her
stash came from, she told me that she started saving
secretly and left it at that.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
I let it go.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
The trip was beautiful, the sunsets were unbelievable, the rum
drinks had little umbrellas.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
I was happy.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
But then last week my buddy texted me out of
the blue asking if my wife had an only fans page.
I asked her directly and she said, yes, but it's
non adult content. Trust her, but I'm hurt she did
it behind my back. I asked what she did and
she said lifestyle based hacks and tips, and that she
did climb a ladder in shorts at one point to
replace a light bulb. Here's where I'm at. The Bahamas

(22:12):
were spectacular. The resort had a swim up bar. We
went snorkeling. Our kids made sand castles for three days straight.
It was the best family trip we've ever taken. And
now I'm sitting here wondering what my adorable Bahama mama
did for this vacation. Maybe the worry free swim up
bar with her and the kids was worth moving on
in silence. I don't know what to do, Jeremy, So, Jeremy,
thank you for writing to us. This was an action

(22:36):
that happened that you were surprised by, pleasantly surprised at first,
and then when your buddy told you, the other shoe dropped.

Speaker 12 (22:45):
But it sounds like he's paper thin on his conviction. No,
I love that vacage. Yeah, I loved it. The worry
free swim up bar. I mean imagine, like that's just
she said, this is all inclusive.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
Let's go.

Speaker 1 (22:57):
Yeah, pretty much, let's go to Palmdale. Aselli, you say,
shame on her?

Speaker 10 (23:03):
Yes, and maybe she's not feeling anything bad, but still
that's that's her responsibility as.

Speaker 9 (23:08):
Partners, for her to communicate with him whether it's good
or bad.

Speaker 1 (23:12):
Yes, it's a partnership. Okay, thank you so much. Ariselli,
have a beautiful day.

Speaker 8 (23:19):
Thank you.

Speaker 9 (23:19):
You guys do have a good day bye, No yay.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
Bye, it's good a content, Marshall, What a man's take?

Speaker 2 (23:26):
What's your take?

Speaker 10 (23:27):
Yeah? I don't think I would be okay with it,
no matter what she's putting out there, because no man
wants to share his wife, you know, even.

Speaker 1 (23:36):
If it's non adult content and she secretly saved up
a huge stash to make a dream vacation happen.

Speaker 10 (23:45):
The vacation sounds great and everything, but you know, you're
still putting yourself out there, and no man, from what
I know, still wants to have his wife out there
for other men to look at, right, you know, he
wants to be like, this.

Speaker 5 (23:59):
Is my woman.

Speaker 13 (24:00):
So let me ask you this, Marshall, would you be
would you would it even cross your mind to say, okay,
look I don't love it, but now that you're doing
it and it's making us money, let's I'll work with
you on it.

Speaker 10 (24:12):
It depends how much money.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
See, everybody, there's a price. It's a transaction.

Speaker 10 (24:20):
Yeah, it just depends how much money it is. Then
everyone always thinks about it.

Speaker 1 (24:25):
Yeah, Marshall, what's something that's on your wish list that
you want to save up for?

Speaker 2 (24:30):
Just dream?

Speaker 10 (24:30):
Big World series tickets. Okay, there you go.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
You just got it, you know what, because your girls
on holy and.

Speaker 3 (24:37):
You staged the photo shoot. Marshall, good job.

Speaker 2 (24:41):
See you got to put yourself in and their shoes.

Speaker 1 (24:45):
My grandmother had a wooden plaque in her kitchen and said,
never judge another man until you've.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
Walked a mile in his shoes. Right.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
Yeah, so you know, Jeremy wrote us the letter he's
torn great vacation, but I do believe his wife betrayed her.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
Hannah.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
Hannah should have said something, and even even while they're there,
like this is what I would have done. If I'm Hannah,
I would have waited till he's at that swim up
bar and a big smell on his face and her kids,
and I would have said, guess what this is funded
by me climbing a ladder in shorts and replacing it.
And I did it for us, and that's all I did.

(25:26):
I didn't go over a line. If anyone tells you
I was on there, yeah, maybe she's not on there anymore, right,
just say I only fans so that you can yeah,
free swim up bar. I don't know, keep your calls
coming in.

Speaker 5 (25:40):
It's the l and k Morning Show.

home with me every evening.

Speaker 5 (25:47):

Speaker 2 (25:49):

Speaker 8 (25:56):

Speaker 2 (25:57):
Hey, Jim, Jim?

Speaker 8 (25:58):
Where are you?

Speaker 2 (25:59):
What's what's going on right now?

Speaker 13 (26:02):

Speaker 2 (26:04):
What do you do?

Speaker 10 (26:05):
I work in a hospital administration?

Speaker 2 (26:07):
All right, Jim? Do you want to say which hospital?

Speaker 8 (26:11):
Uh? Not at the time.

Okay, Well, thank you for having us on at work.

Speaker 1 (26:46):
All right, hard working man, hang on, We're going to

It's the l Morning Show.

Speaker 8 (26:53):
You guys really do make my morning. I love listening
to you guys every morning.

Speaker 9 (26:58):
Thank you for all your fun mornings.

Speaker 5 (27:00):
On my ride to work, host one oh three point five.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
Jeremy discovered that his wife Hannah went on OnlyFans to
fund their Bahamas dream trip for the family. I love
the way he described the Bahamas. He said, the Bahamas
were spectacular. The resort had a swim up bar, We
went snorkeling, our kids made sand castles for three days straight.
It was the best family trip we've ever taken. But

(27:24):
I'm sitting here wondering what my adorable Bahama mama Hannah
did for this vacation. So she tells him after the fact,
only because Jeremy's friend tapped him and said, Hey, is
your wife on OnlyFans? And he asked her and she
said yes, but it was non adult content.

Speaker 13 (27:42):
It sounds like that's the part that's bothering him, that
he had to find out through a back channel.

Speaker 1 (27:46):
And be super honest, Ryan, You're just going through your day, yeah,
and something like this happens to you and your buddy
alerts you to something like this.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
How do you feel, in your heart of hearts?

Speaker 13 (27:57):
Pretty devastated?

Speaker 2 (27:58):
Yeah, honestly, tread.

Speaker 1 (28:00):
Yeah, that's how Jeremy feels because although the vacation was
nice and she had her secret stash of cash, he
really didn't like find out from his friend and he
didn't like finding out what she was doing.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
It's good at Trish, Trish, what do you say?

Speaker 9 (28:16):
I think that there's so many people online that do
blogs and they talk about all kinds of subjects that
if hers was innocent, it's just like doing a blog.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
Okay, why not?

Speaker 1 (28:30):
As Darlene said, I would buy her more shorts Charter one.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
Thanks Trish, Thank you.

Speaker 1 (28:42):
Ye Handah climbed the ladder in short shorts, probably got
some tips for that.

Speaker 5 (28:47):
Yeah, wake up with ellen K.

Speaker 6 (28:49):
Thank you for getting me out of bed every day,
getting me through work.

Speaker 2 (28:53):
I listened to you on the app twenty four to seven.

Speaker 5 (28:55):
I love you all so much. Coast one O three
point five.

Speaker 1 (28:59):

And also Carrie Steele is coming up next, stay with
us all day long. Thanks for having us on at work,
in the car, wherever you are. Thanks to all of
your calls about Jeremy and his letter. His wife Hannah
went on OnlyFans to finance a really great Bahamas vacation,
but he found out about it kind of sideways through
a buddy and he was unhappy. But I think you

(29:32):
helped him a lot.

Speaker 13 (29:34):
What do you feel Ellen was the majority here? What
was the consensus?

Speaker 1 (29:37):
The consensus is that Hannah the wife, should never have
gone behind his back, that they are a team operating together,
and that if she wants to finance things that he's
you know, she should loop him in.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
And also, Bryan, you had a suggression do it together.

Speaker 13 (29:52):
Yeah, we found out that you know a lot of
people do have a price uh huh.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
So it's a non adult content and Hannah just wanted
to to you know, enjoy the Bahamas and they did.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
Yeah, So thanks for all of those calls.

Speaker 1 (30:05):
Today, the Dodgers seven ten, Those bats are going to
be on fire.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
Jackie Robinson day.

Speaker 1 (30:12):
Everyone wearing forty two and if you're going you get
the forty two jersey.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
It's so cool.

Speaker 1 (30:19):
MLB all across the board celebrating Jackie Robinson, who debuted
with the Brooklyn Dodgers on this day in nineteen forty seven.
We celebrate his courage, his determination, is brilliance on the diamond,
his grace, his dignity, Jackie's influence spanning generations, and he
is our quote of the day. A life is not
important except in the impact it has on other lives.

(30:40):
He certainly did that, kiss on three, kiss on me
one two three, with this thing.

Speaker 14 (30:50):
Singing my life with his woe, killing me softly with
this long killing me softly with his song, telling my
whole lad with

Speaker 2 (31:08):
His words, killing me softly,
