I'm producer Mike Romos. It is National Banana Lover's Day,
So go bananas, all right. The Swedes love bananas so much,
and maybe it's because it's a tropical fruit and it
doesn't grow there, so to them it must just be
like this amazing thing, and it's they're so good for you.
But the Swedes love banana so much they put them
on pizza Swedish pizza.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
I'd try that in a heartbeat.

It's pizza top with curry, pineapple, bananas and ham, one
of the most popular pizzas in Sweden.

Okay, Oh, I want to try that.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
And you have to have green bananas, like the green.

I don't want to have.
Speaker 1 (01:09):

Speaker 2 (01:19):
How do we feel about banana chips?
Speaker 7 (01:20):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:20):
I love yeah, I love everything bananas. They're packed with
vitamins and potassium.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
We love the bananas, and you guys know, banana chips
are different bananas from the bananas.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
We eat plantains.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
Yeah, they use plantains and they have to be We
call them maduros like that means that they're they're ripe
and you slice them however you want and just throw them.

So be listening for your thousand dollars and we're gonna
go Inside Entertainment. There is a famous guy who is
(02:03):
in the most commercials in the world. Eighty three thousand
minutes have run of commercials with this guy. We'll tell
you who it is. Also Mariah Carey with two gut
wrenching losses, her mother and her sister. More details on
that next post.
Speaker 8 (02:16):
One of three point five The Allan K Morning Show

Speaker 6 (02:20):
This is Jeremy Renner, this is Kate Hudson, this is

Girl The Allan K Morning Show, Ellen K Morning Show
on Coast one of three point five.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
I Love you so much, Ellen.
Speaker 8 (02:31):
Past one of three point five Inside Entertainment with Ellen Kay.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
And Mariah Carey has requested that the media and fans
respect her privacy during this impossible time, as her mom
and sister passed away on the same day. Mariah learned
after spending last week at her mom's bedside, that she
had passed. She shared the shocking news, my heart is broken.
I've lost my mother this past weekend. Sadly, in a
tragic turn of events, my sister lost her life on
(02:56):
the same day. Patricia Carey was an opera singer and
a vocal coach. Mariah described their complicated relationship as full
of contradictions and competing realities. It's never been only black
and white. It was a whole rainbow of emotions. Her sister,
Allison was sixty three and they were estranged. So Mariah
is posting a little bit about this. It's really sad.
(03:20):
On what about this, Travis kelce We'll have one hundred
and twenty seven nationally air TV ads, which is more
than double of any other player in the NFL league.
In the past thirty days, commercials featuring Travis Kelcey have
had eighty three thousand and thirty two airings. That is
more than anyone in the world, more than Christiano Ronaldo,
Lionel Messi, more than any person. I can't even think
(03:42):
of another, you know, celebrity that would come close to
all those commercials. But yeah, Travis Kelcey eighty three thousand airings.
And Channing Tatum has a really compelling movie out. It's
written and directed by his love Zoe Kravitz, and it's
called Blink Twice. And if you go see it, or
if you have seen it, you know what this means.
(04:06):
The Polaroid camera a central figure in the story. That's
all I can say. I want to give anything away,
but Chanting Tatum hates doing laundry so much that he
once wore brand new white T shirts for a whole year.
I had one year that I called the Year of
the Fresh White Tea. And I don't think I did
laundry all year that year, And I just I just
wore white T shirts that I just bought. Be Like,
(04:29):
I can get like two wears out of this week.
This is gonna be good. The Year of the Fresh
White Tea ninety nine or two thousand. You could buy
those you know, Haynes or whatever, six packs pretty affordably
on Amazon, wear them a couple of times, and then
just buy your new one.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
That's a little excessive, though, never wore the same shirt twice,
but think.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
Of the cost of laundry, you know what I mean?
Come on, and then you just wear your white T shirts.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
I'm off for it.
Speaker 5 (04:54):
Ryan, wake up with lan k Hi.
Speaker 9 (04:58):

Speaker 3 (05:11):

Speaker 7 (05:11):
Allen Kay, stop it.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
We didn't catch your name.
Speaker 4 (05:20):

is my best friend's birthday and the best neighbor ever

Speaker 2 (05:32):

Speaker 1 (05:36):

it's banana day. You could get the banana chips too.
They're so good.
Speaker 7 (05:44):

pounds in the next hour.

ants away, kills the ants. If you want a non
toxic you can use it. I mean you can buy
all kinds of sprays. They have the non toxic kind,

for hanging on with us. So you have an ant hat,
what is it?
Speaker 7 (07:04):

So I put cinnamon sticks, whole cinnamon sticks.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
Where, like just around where the ants come in, just around.
Speaker 12 (07:12):
Where the ants come in. Or I put them in
a little mason jar or in a little bowl around
the sink or wherever they come in. Outside I just
put them along the side of like maybe hide them
behind a plant or a bush. I haven't seen them
in years.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
Oh right, Do you know why the ants come in?
Speaker 7 (07:28):
No clue.
Speaker 12 (07:28):
Maybe it's hot outside.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
That's what I thought too, Like I think it's too
hot outsides are coming in and they're hot meany ones, Yes, man.
Speaker 11 (07:38):

Cinnamon sticks. I love that. Thank you.
Speaker 12 (07:42):
Try it. It's gonna work.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
Guys, I just looked it up. Ants are not getting
hot outside their ants. Okay, they come in looking for food.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
Oh oh in the summertime.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
They're just busier in the summer.
Speaker 9 (07:55):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
Okay, I mean to go with your thing.
Speaker 1 (07:57):

Downtown LA is considering closing. Norm Langer, who has spent
nearly eight decades working in and now running the beloved Delhi,
says he no longer feels safe bordering on MacArthur Park.
Speaker 10 (09:31):
I need some assistance to the city right be at
LAPD be it.
Speaker 5 (09:35):
The city council will be at the Mayor's all. Something

Speaker 1 (09:40):
Langer added this spicy little kicker to city leaders, and
I quote, get your act together and I won't go anywhere.
How's that sound. Yeah, okay, let's save it. The University
of California at Santa Barbara You c SB has been
ranked the top party school for the third year in
a row. On number two. My niece Gracie attended the
Universe City of Oklahoma. They took second place, and then
(10:02):
number three University of Cincinnati taking that third spot. Travis
Kelce and a lum of the University of Cincinnati. And
what about this? Australia's new Right to disconnect law protects
most employees who choose to ignore work related contact outside
of working hours that has gone into effect. If it works,
there may come here. You'll shut it off and keep
(10:23):
it off until your next day at work. And it

Speaker 5 (17:39):
The LLNK Morning Show on Coast one O three point.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
Five Top stories top the hour, Good morning, I'm ellen K.
After NASA's recent distant to leave our two astronauts stuck
in space until February, the mother of Sunita Sunny Williams
is speaking out. Surprisingly. Mom Bonnie is super chill, and
it sounds like she's been dealing with this kind of
stress for a very long time.
Speaker 5 (18:02):
I'm a mother of an astronaut.
Speaker 13 (18:04):
She's been an astronaut for twenty years. I understand all
these things, so it's not bothering me.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
Two months a sunny and Butch'll spend the next six
months aboard the ISS until they catch a ride back
to Earth on a SpaceX Dragon vessel. And if you're
feeling stress, try taking a bath. A forest bath. The
act of spending time in the forest is what the
Japanese call shinriin yoku, a term originating that means bathing
in the forest atmosphere. Research on this topic at Nippon
(18:32):
Medical School in Tokyo said it's not exercise or hiking
or jogging. It is simply being in nature, connecting with
it through sight, hearing, tastes, smell, and touch. Not only
is forest bathing a magical way to explore nature, decades
of research show it's good for your health. It boost
your immune system, lowers your blood pressure, and also helps
with depression. I can reduce stress hormones, cortisol and adrenaline
(18:55):
and turn down the dial on your body's fight or flight.
Imagine all that coming from trees. And this is kind
of ridiculous. Vegas odd makers are really branching out. Several
casinos and this is real, are now accepting wagers on
who j Loo will date next. It hasn't even been
a week since her divorce filing from Ben Affleck. The
top three and reverse number three, going back to her
previous ex a rod number two would be the weekend
(19:17):
and the odds on favorite would be Eminem for j
Lo as her next paramour. All right, tipping up Tuesday,
clear sky, sunshine, Heat tempts back up to ninety industry
in Irwindale. You see ninety for your highs. It is
sixty eight in Burbank and we run on Celsia's energy

Speaker 5 (19:43):
The LNK Morning Show on Coast one oh three point
five not part of the never gonna is the We

K pay day, Lanis Morrissett ironic coming up at four

good teacher for the blind and visually in pair.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
Thanks, thank you, Becky. I love the Braille Institute. It's
off the one on one as you're headed downtown, and
so when you pass that, say a little prayer for them.
They're doing amazing things behind those walls. And people who
are born without sight or lose their sight. The artwork
(21:15):
that they can create, and the poems and the music
that they write. I just I'm in awe. All right,
