Happy Friday too, Yeah, or the Only K Morning show.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
So I love waking up with you.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
We got music, money and fun for you, twenty five
hundred dollars just ahead, four packs to almost everything you
can think of. And a wedding happening tonight on six
twenty six, twenty six, Taylor and Travis. That's my prediction, ed,
Sharon has a day off in touring. He's gonna be there.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
You know, all the usuals. Brian, you disagree, Well.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Look, I hope you're right. I do, because that would
be a fun thing. It would be like a total
curve ball. It would be somewhere other than Madison Square Garden,
which we've all said from the start doesn't feel personal.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Yeah, that's just a party, we believe.

Speaker 4 (00:39):
Yeah, But here's here's the thing.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
They have filed another event permit for the day before
the big gathering, So that would be what next Thursday,
July second, for an intimate gathering of one hundred people
at Madison Square Garden.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
I believe that's the actual wedding.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
I think it's the rehearsal. Well, no, it wouldn't be
rehearsal dinner if they're getting married tonight.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
No, I mean, I'm just saying, let's say your theory
isn't right.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Okay, Okay, let's assume that'd be the rehearsal dinner.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
But why would you do it at Madison Square Garden?

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Why not set up you think security is in place?

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Okay, hotels, your book.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
I'm just feeling like maybe that's the actual wedding.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
They're just having a couple, you know, one hundred people
and then the next night's gonna be like the big
the big party. I will tell you though, who's ready
for it? Ed Kelsey, father of trasl.

Speaker 5 (01:21):
I'm super excited. She is a sweetheart. That is truly
the girl next door, just like just like Kiley.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
That's really sweet.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
It's okay, look, I hope you're right. I think it'd
be great if it was tonight.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
See, I didn't know that you were so invested.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
I'm so deep in his invitation.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
So deep.

Speaker 6 (01:52):
Thank god.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
It's do you want to feel good?

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Do this for yourself?

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Watch voicemails for Isabelle. It is out streaming is a hit,
and we'll tell you more details on that, where you
can see it and why you're gonna want to watch it.
Inside Entertainment coming up next, it's feel Good Friday.

Speaker 7 (02:15):
Two weeks ago, I would consider cancer free.

Speaker 8 (02:18):
Yes, I'm getting out a plane heading home and surprising
my family at practice tomorrow morning.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
That's the coolest.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Everyone is going to be a sobbing mess of pure joy.

Speaker 9 (02:26):
Feel Good Friday with The L and K Morning Show
on Coast one, O three point box.

Speaker 10 (02:31):
Inside Entertainment with Ellen k.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
So if you're going to the theater this weekend, super
Girl has dropped. Also couture is Angelina Joe Lee, playing
an American filmmaker who's diagnosed with breast cancer while filming
in Paris for fashion Week. Now you remember Angelina had
a preventive double mastectomy. Yeah, so this project was two
to her heart and then last but not least, or
maybe it is least, jackass best and last, Thank god,

(02:56):
it's the last one.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
What do you think?

Speaker 3 (02:59):
So for years you have always maintained that like things
like three stooges, Yes, your husband loves it.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
You can't even start to write. Is this in that
same vein for you?

Speaker 1 (03:08):
This is totally three stooges to me. But they are
like seven stooges, right, how many? Jack asked?

Speaker 4 (03:13):
Probably about six? Seven? Mike and I cannot wait for this.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Okay, it's rated hard R And if you just want
to stay home and stream, go to Netflix. Voicemails for Isabelle.
The world has gone crazy for it. It's number one
all around the globe. Critics and audiences agree eighty five
percent Rotten Tomatoes, ninety one percent on a popcorn meter.
And it's just so heartwarming and great. So it's called

(03:36):
Voicemails for Isabelle. You gotta check it out. It's a
giant global hit speaking around the globe. Everyone praying for
Lionel Richie. He postponed in Chicago and Columbus dates. You know,
he's just kicking off his tour when he had to
sit down and he was doing dancing on the ceiling.
He was in Saint Paul, Minnesota. It's the opening of
twenty six dates for Lionel. So now he has to

(03:58):
postpone Chicago on Columbus. Uh. He ended up going straight
to the hospital. They say it's dehydration. So how do
you get that dehydrated? Is it high altitude travel, singing
a lot, not not having enough electrolytes, could be like
his body's just drained.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Yeah, he might have been going really hard leading up
to the tour kickoff too. You know, like you said,
just drained, not sleeping. Well, so yeah, that could be.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
This is a man who's doing American Idol and this
lot got the tour. Plus he does all those one
offs too. Is just in Dubai for like five million
dollars for some kings or some prince's barbecue. You know
that giant fees. You can't say no to those, right? Okay?

Speaker 2 (04:42):
What about this?

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Now? Streaming also at Netflix, the buddy comedy Little Brothers,
starring John Cena and Eric Andre, two professional wrestlers. Did
you see this yet?

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Ryan?

Speaker 4 (04:52):
I'm not no?

Speaker 1 (04:53):
All right?

Speaker 4 (04:54):
Ready to go?

Speaker 7 (04:54):
Oh? So?

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Ella Langley choosing Texas reached a rare, rarefied status in
the music industry. Ticketmaster crashed yesterday during pre sale for
the second leg of her Dandelion tour. People want these
tickets so bad, it crashed Ticketmaster.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
She's really cute and she sounds really good. I like
choosing Texas. I wish you didn't make it about Texas, Like,
why not choosing California. That's my husband's like a crush
right now. Okay, She's a.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Lot of people's cries Langley.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
All right, Jenna bush Hager said her six year old
son Hal licks her face like a cat.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Okay, why would you say that on television?

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Because now and Hal grows up, he's going to be
the face lickuer for the life.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
It's like when Alicia Silverstone said she feeds her kids
with her mouth like the mama burn.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
Don't say that.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
I don't know why she did that to him, poor guy.
Hal didn't say I licked my mama's face. No, she
said how licks her face?

Speaker 4 (05:51):
He's the face liquor.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
All right. Katy Perry has a brand new song. It
dropped this morning. It's called Watch It Burn. It's the
angry song she's ever written. We just watched the video.
It's about going through some really tough stuff and then
coming out without any scars. Did Orlando Bloom cheat on her?
And some of the lyrics of the song watch It
Burn it implies that she was lied to and cheating.

(06:14):
I think I don't know. But now Orlando Bloom is
with the twenty eight year old Swiss model named Luisa Laimo.
They're out getting photographed together and they were never Katie
and Orlando were never married. They were engaged, but they
do share Daisy, their five year old. So, Katy Perry,
watch it burn?

Speaker 2 (06:32):
What happened.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
Sounds like like an angry anthem kind of thing. Yeah,
what do you think something happened? I mean it's classic
Katy Perry.

Speaker 4 (06:59):
It's really good.

Speaker 10 (07:00):
It's the morning show.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
I listen to you guys every day.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
I love your show.

Speaker 10 (07:05):
Coast one oh three point bid.

Speaker 1 (07:06):

That's right to spice up your life. Some hacks I
feel are glamorous.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
They're nice. You know this one those starts in the garbage.
Oh it does, Yeah, hear me out. This is good. Okay, okay.
So this is peak insect season right now.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
As our temps climb, the ants, the spiders, the flies,
they're gonna become much more active.

Speaker 4 (07:35):
And you know where they go.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
They go for the trash.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
They go for the trash, and they come inside because
it's cooler and we have water and they can't find
the water outside. Got it, But that doesn't work for us.
We don't want the ants. We don't want the spiders
or the flies inside. So sprinkle a little cinnamon into
the bottom of your trash can every time you change
the bag. Put it in the bag, put it in
the can itself. It helps keep the pests away. They
do not like the scent of cinnamon. It's very strong
for them.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
That's a really great happiness.

Speaker 4 (08:00):
And here's the happiness part.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
Studies find the smell of cinnamon actually boosts your mood,
increases your alertness, and helps reduce your stress.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
Well, this is a win win in the big win.

Feel Good Friday, But the llen K Morning Show on
Coast one o three point five Happy Friday too.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
Yeah with the LLENK Morning Show and it's Coast one
of three point five. Let's get your top stories here
at the top of the hour. Good Morning of ellen K.
Here on six twenty six, twenty six, is this the
day Taylor and Travis will get married? At Sharon is
free today? And thirteen times two equals twenty six thirteen,
Tailor's lucky number, as she was born on December thirteenth,

(10:47):
and she's been very famous about Spock speaking about thirteen
in her life. But it is another day in another
theory on the wedding of the Millennium, officials in New
York City now confirming that Taylor and Travis did file
a permit for July second at MSG, which is the
day prior to the bigger event next Friday. They've listed
the guest size for this intimate pre thing as one hundred.
So what is actually happening then? Then the next day

(11:10):
is the big celebration. We don't know, but we're ready
for it, so is ed Kelsey.

Speaker 5 (11:14):
I'm super excited. She is a sweetheart that is truly
the girl next door, just like Kylie.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Oh and he's so fair about loving his future daughter
in law as much as he loves his daughter in law. Okay,
so that wedding rumor to cost twenty million dollars, the
average price of a wedding in America thirty four thousand,
two hundred dollars. Those numbers just in and we haven't
even hit the fourth yet. But spirit Halloween, they don't
care they're officially kicking off spooky hiring season today. They

(11:43):
need fifty two thousand seasonal workers and the most open
positions across the nation are right here in southern California.
Because we love Halloween. It's funny too. If you want
to apply, text the word reaper to eighty five thousand,
eighty five zero zero zero. Just text that word. If
you want to apply to spirit Halloween, they're looking for you.
And it's feel good Friday. Here's a feel good for you.

(12:06):
A five year old girl named Olive was playing on
the Merry Go Round at a playground. Something bad happened.
Her fingers got caught underneath. She had a major accident
and involved the loss of her actual fingertips. A group
of eight amts rushed Olive put her fingertips on ice. Incredibly,
doctors reattached them because doctors are amazing. This week, Olive,
with her new old fingertips, was able to visit the

(12:26):
fire station of the crews who saved her hand, and
as a thank you, Olive finger painted them each a
heart and a message of gratitude.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
What a sweetheart way to go.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
And our final Friday in June, it's going to be
a beauty. We have developing morning sunshine highs around eighty
Later on we get that sent around nine or ten am,
so some June gloom hanging around.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
It's going to burn off Rosemide.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
You get eighty rail too, eighty two and right now
at A sixty two in Burdbank, it's KOST Los Angeles,

a great job on this radio station. It's our favorite

on the way back, and it always brightens my move
and makes us all happier in my family.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
Yeah, let me thank you. You make us feel good
on this feel good Friday. All right, let's get to Jennifer,
thank you so much for calling as you can call it.
Eight hundred ninety two nine kost So, Jennifer, on this day,
twenty five years ago, you were headed to UCLA for
a college and you got a special surprise.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
Tell us about that.

Speaker 12 (14:23):
Well, my dad got me a really tiny turtle that
fits in a coffee of mug when I went to college.
So I snuffed that turtle in the coffee mug and
I raised it in my dorm. And now, at least
twenty five years later, I still have the turtle in
my backyard. Now she's living in a pond.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
My gosh, how big is he now?

Speaker 12 (14:47):
The size of a dinner plate?

Speaker 1 (14:49):

Speaker 13 (15:02):

gifted my son when he was five or six years
old that gecko. My son's now sixteen, so for years
it's lived alone. We buy worms and crickets and things
like that.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
I didn't realize she was a girl. She laid an
egg last week.

Speaker 9 (15:19):
Oh what wait?

Speaker 1 (15:19):
What's what's his name or her name? Spot? Oh?

Speaker 13 (15:22):
Okay, the gecko has spots all over.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
Okay, okay, so quick, how did Spot lay an egg?

Speaker 13 (15:27):
And we don't know?

Speaker 4 (15:28):
It's just a cool egg?

Speaker 1 (15:30):
Whoa.

Speaker 13 (15:31):

Top Stories, Top of the hour, A good morning, I'm
ellen Ky and did you see a team USA fall
into Turkey in the World Cup? But it literally affects nothing.
So next for our squad is the knockout stage. Thirty
two teams, no ties and it's a winner go home,
so the stakes are high. That stage starts on Sunday,
but we play Wednesday in the Bay. As for today,
FIFA Fever firing up with France and Norway at noon

(19:48):
so a chanting Tatum is actually playing hot Earling Holland's
body double for a Nike ad. So they did that too,
where they they're kind of meditating, they levitate, so that's
that was really cool. And Norway just banned AI in
schools for kids ages six to thirteen and locked it
down for teens fourteen to sixteen. So a lot of
the world is racing to put AI into classrooms that

(20:09):
Norway decided to pull it out of theirs. So starting
with the new school year late August, students and first
through seventh grade will generally not be given access to
generative AI in the classroom, and then teens can use it,
but only under teacher supervision. Older students from seventeen to
nineteen will also be watched. The Prime Minister of Norway
said the focus is making sure kids first learn to read,

(20:30):
write and do math, and then they can enhance with
AI later on and check change. The US men doing
something kind of cool to celebrate America's two hundred and fifty.
If they're releasing a new limited edition quarter front side
the declaration Liberty bell is on the back, only a
quarter million of them will be dropped into circulation. And
our MLB Best Dodgers back on the West Coast, kicking

Six forty five start from Pepco Park, and shohe Otani

Speaker 1 (22:14):
Okay, son Calvin's working in tech. He has facial hair.
We're gonna go visit my mother in law in Dallas,
and she doesn't like the facial hair. Yeah, but he
wants to keep the facial hair because now he's managing
some people and they're all close in age that he
just wants to like he makes him.

Speaker 2 (22:33):
Look a little bit older.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
Sure, so do you shave it off for your grandma
or do you trim it up?

Speaker 2 (22:41):
Or do you just leave it and just explain.

Speaker 4 (22:43):
You leave it.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
It's almost like when an actor has to like gain
weight for a role. You'll go in and you're saying,
this is for work.

Speaker 10 (22:49):
I'm very experienced in this.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
Okay, is very judgy.

Speaker 13 (22:53):
Like one time I cut my hair too short above
my shoulders and I got in trouble and I was
like forty years old. So you have to prep them, Okay,
you have to call and just be like, Hey, I
can't wait to see you and just say, you know,
I'm working with younger people and I'm growing this beard
because I really need to show my dominance. Okay that
she's on your side.

Speaker 1 (23:13):
Okay, all right, all right, this is a really good solution. Okay,
we're gonna prep Joyce. She's probably listening right now. She
knows you don't want that look of disgust. No, my
grandma's so like, yeah, she's just like, ah, could you
shave that?

Speaker 4 (23:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (23:28):
Yeah, okay, funny.

Speaker 2 (23:30):

so much for calling. Jared is a bowler. Jared's going
for the gold. All right, Jared, what team are you on?

where the Empire strikes back?

Speaker 1 (23:48):
Oh that's great. Okay, So tell me about your competition.
You have one tonight with the Friday Rollers, And are
we going to win this thing?

Speaker 7 (24:00):
We are going to win. Yes, we're gonna win. We're
going the best. We're the best team on the whole place.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
Wow, what is your technique? Like, what is it that
makes you a winner?

Speaker 7 (24:09):
You know, it's just a determination. It's uh, it's being
the best of whatever you do all the time.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
Yeah, so you practice a lot, yes, because you see,
here's the thing about bowling. I feel like there's a
lot of luck involved too. I mean, I know it's
a lot of skill, but also sometimes I just feel
like the ball just do its own thing sometimes.

Speaker 7 (24:31):
Yeah, yeah, I agree?

Speaker 1 (24:32):
Is it? Do you put a spin on it?

Speaker 2 (24:34):
Do you have a special ball?

Speaker 10 (24:36):
Do you talk to him?

Speaker 7 (24:40):
I won't try talking to it. That's a good chip.
Just a little hooked on it, you know what the book,
just a little hook.

Speaker 1 (24:47):
You make a sense.

Speaker 4 (24:48):
Little hook. Where where do you guys play? If we
wanted to come cheer you on tonight, Jared, where where's
this happening?

Speaker 7 (24:53):
We're at the bowling I'm in Montclair, okay.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
All right? And what like, how many pounds do you throw?

Speaker 7 (25:00):
Fifteen?

Speaker 4 (25:01):
Okay, fifteen, Jean, that's a biggie.

Speaker 2 (25:04):
That's a big one.

Speaker 7 (25:06):
Sixteen.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
Oh oh jeez, you must have some really strong fingers.

Speaker 7 (25:13):
It's all it's all strength, baby.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
We wish you and the Friday Rollers exceptional good luck
tonight and we cannot wait tell the team that Ellen

Speaker 1 (25:28):

Speaker 7 (25:31):
No, no regional.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
Okay, okay, we got this Jared.

Speaker 7 (25:36):
We like my part, say selling K, I got a
strike for.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
You, Thank you, thank God. It's I love bullet talking.
They say, it's so casually. Let's put a spin. It's
a little look.

Speaker 10 (26:00):
It's the old hymning shall past three point five.

Speaker 1 (26:08):
It's a feel good Friday. We love your feel goods.
It just makes us not only feel good, but life,
and sometimes feel goods can save lives. And thank you
for sharing yours. We found one for you. You do
not want to miss here on a feel good Friday.
Mm hmm. Anyway, let's go to him. He is a

(26:31):
four year old and he thought his mom had died.
His name is Roman, so Roman lives in the UK
and he had to call their emergency line because his
mom suddenly collapsed.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
Here's the emergency call.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
Can you do me a favors?

Speaker 12 (26:50):
You go get mommy be car.

Speaker 14 (26:52):
He says, he's clothing and he's not breathing.

Speaker 12 (26:58):
Can you go to your mommy Shaikh for me?

Speaker 7 (27:03):
Funny he did him what's your name?

Speaker 1 (27:09):
So Roman's freaked out. He's four years old, he's home
alone with his mom. She collapses. Guess what she did
that was so smart. She taught him how to open
her phone with her finger. So she said, if anything
ever happens Roman and you need me, you put my
phone right finger on the phone, and it opened up
and he called nine nine nine, which is the UK
emergency services. They got to her. They saved her life.

(27:32):
Well really, Roman did. And then he got all of
the parades and all of the.

Speaker 2 (27:37):
The you know, all of the kudos that he really deserved.
He got his flowers, He got his flowers.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
Yeah, he thought quickly, saved his mom's life. And she's
still here. She's so proud of him. So they're just
they're having a Yesterday for him every day. All right.
So there's another really great feel good that you brought
to us.

Speaker 7 (27:58):
Merlin.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
The Duck has arrived in Mexico City. You know, he
was trying to get into the studio. They wouldn't let
him in. They put scarves on him, they dress him up.
There's no animals allowed. But because he's so popular and
he's such a big fan for the Mexican team. They've
allowed him all kinds of access. Now he's filming segments
for Televisa. Merlin is being invited to parties. The President

(28:21):
of Mexico said, Merlin, I want you here. So now
Merlin has all access.

Speaker 4 (28:25):
He's got a key to the country.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
Basically right, definitely a feel good. Then I wanted to
read you something that I got from one Carlos Molina.
He lives in Venezuela, and we became friends on Instagram
and start following each other. He says, Hi, Ellen, my
beloved Venezuela has experienced those strong earthquakes you've been hearing about.
Thank God, we are safe, but it has been a

(28:48):
difficult time for many families and we've lost thousands. I
asked that you asked your listeners to keep us in
your prayers. God bless Venezuela. Thank you so much. One
Carlos Morlena Ellie's praying for you. For father news Broth. Lately,
I've been doing bed then the last far cold Decembers.

Speaker 7 (29:14):
Are we cold?

Speaker 1 (29:18):
And I see my family every month.

Speaker 4 (29:21):
I've about a girl my parents love, so come and stay.

Speaker 7 (29:26):
Tonight and night.

Speaker 10 (29:28):
It's the Lank Morning Show.

Speaker 7 (29:29):
I love you.

Speaker 11 (29:30):
Guys.

Speaker 8 (29:30):
Thank you for everything you do.

Speaker 7 (29:31):
You guys make our day good or bad.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
You guys are always there.

Speaker 8 (29:34):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 10 (29:35):
Host one oh three point five.

Speaker 1 (29:36):
Happy birthday to you if you are celebrating today, six
twenty six, twenty six. I think that this is the
wedding day for Taylor and Travis because thirteen times two
equals twenty six and then you get two twenty Six's
come the perfect wedding day? It is ed Sharon is
free today because he's on tour, but he doesn't perform today,
so we'll wait and see. Ryan doesn't agree with any

(29:58):
of us here in the studio.

Speaker 4 (30:00):
I hope you're right.

Speaker 3 (30:01):
That would be a beautiful wedding day, I think because
now we know that they filed a permit for a separate,
smaller event next Thursday, one hundred guests at Madison Square Garden,
the day before the big event.

Speaker 4 (30:13):
I think Thursday's the wedding.

Speaker 1 (30:14):
It's a pre party to a party. You think see
after party.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
Thank's happy.

Speaker 1 (30:18):
I don't know where, but I really do feel like
it's going to happen today, all right, six twenty six,
twenty six. What a special birthday If you're celebrating today,
and you share with a lot of famous people. Jacob
Alordi turns twenty nine today. Yeah, Aubrey Plaza, Nick Offerman
I love, Nick Offreman, Sean Hayes, Paul Thomas Anderson, Ariana

(30:40):
Grande all celebrating today.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
But so is the bar code. So we never even
think about the bar code.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
It's just there.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
We're so used to it.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
We scan it. Do you do self scanner at the market?

Speaker 7 (30:50):
I like to.

Speaker 4 (30:50):
It depends on who's around me or who's in front
of me.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
Oh, what do you mean?

Speaker 1 (30:54):
What does that mean?

Speaker 4 (30:55):
Well, you can kind of ide who's going to take
some time. Oh I see, Okay, you've not done this before.

Speaker 1 (31:03):
Well, the bar code was patented in nineteen fifty two,
but it wasn't used in grocery stores at check us
until the seventies. So we just want to, you know,
thank the inventors of the bar code. Where would we
be without it? Happy birthday barcode. Then Ryan's getting all
impatient because he's got like.

Speaker 4 (31:21):
Three i'd ever done this before.

Speaker 10 (31:23):
It's the Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (31:25):
Oh my god, you guys are hilarious. Guys have no
common sense.

Speaker 10 (31:28):
Past one oh three point five.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
It's your viral moment of the week. I think it's
a feel good too, plus life goals, and we're the
L and K Morning Show. There's a ninety six year
old woman known online as Grandma Droniac, and she's going
viral after sharing that her nursing home in Connecticut threatened
to evict her for partying too hard at ninety six.

(31:51):
This is a woman who wants to make the most
of every moment of her life. So let me just
give you a little taste. This is a kind of
things she talks about online.

Speaker 14 (32:02):
I was talking to a fella at my nursing home
and he kept looking at my milkshakes.

Speaker 4 (32:09):
My eyes are up here.

Speaker 1 (32:11):
I'm sick a bed, so yeah. And then she says,
you know, my doctor says one glass of wine a day.
And then she's the giant wine glass and port hole
bottle in it. You know, she's that kind of girl. Yeah,
And at ninety six, now she has received a letter
from her nursing home and they're telling her stop the
partying or leave.

Speaker 14 (32:30):
I'm getting kicked out of the nursing home. I just
got this letter. It says you're getting kicked out if
you don't stop the parties. You could read it. Parties
are not allowed and you cannot serve alcohol to other residents.
Letters serves as a form formal warning. I could do

(32:53):
what I want. I paid twelve dollars a month to
live here.

Speaker 2 (32:59):
I could pare it. Whoa twelve thousand.

Speaker 1 (33:05):
A month a month to live in this nursing home
And they're saying stop partying or kicking you. She said
her girlfriends are coming over tonight. They're going to drink
and gossip and get rowdy.

Speaker 2 (33:16):
She's not listening.

Speaker 1 (33:18):
She ripped up the letter.

Speaker 10 (33:20):
You go, grandma, it's the lank morning shows share with
you all week and the weekends. She it's a bit
of a workaholic. Ways one three point five.

Speaker 1 (33:31):
And we want to say a huge congrats to Deutsche La.
It's a big ad agency and they took a chance
on Romeo show. She's a jingle writer and a singer
and she came up with a jingle for doctor Pepper.
Doctor Pepper bay Bee is good and nice. So doctor

(33:53):
Pepper needed an ad agency, right, and they're looking around.
They're like, oh my gosh, you know, let's go to
deutsch La. They're pretty famous and deutche La says, well,
we've never gone into the carbonated drink you know area before,
but we have this idea you could use this Romeo
show girl and then we could make it into the jingle.

Speaker 2 (34:11):
And guess what they did.

Speaker 1 (34:13):
And they went to can Lyon and when the biggest
award it's the Silver Lion Award and they brought it
on home and they just took a chance like it
was an uncomfortable chance. I'm sure it's like a lot
of money riding on it and their chance to prove
themselves in the carbonated beverage space.

Speaker 4 (34:30):
And an unknown from TikTok they take the audio. They
do this to Peppa bay Bee. Good can, Doctor Pepper
bay Bee?

Speaker 1 (34:39):
You good can? Right here in La wait to go.
It's Fielding Friday, Baby.

It's where my dad had Viking in him.

Speaker 4 (35:16):
You think, yeah, definitely, tall guy, striking guy, broad shoulders.

Speaker 1 (35:21):
His shoulders. Plus he he had these like blue Viking
eyes and then jet black hair. It's like a real
kind of strange combination. I'm like, dad, Most Vikings have
red hair like Justin Turner, or they have like blonde hair,
but he was a he had dark hair. So I

that is like, hey, you know, you got to check
