the first Monday of the llen k thousand dollars Paige Day.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Who wants prenup.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
Well, Scott Swift, daddy of Taylor, drew up an ironclad
prenup to shield his daughter's roughly two billion dollars in
business and music assets, and Travis Kelce had no objections
to any of it. Insiders say that Scott was deeply
involved in mapping out the financial details ahead of the wedding.
One source described him as a firm, but gentle operated.
They call Scott Swift a fist in a velvet glove, okay,
(03:14):
all right.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Polite and warm until his time to protect his daughter.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
Should yes, and sources say that Travis Holt Scott in
high regarding credits him with building one of the most
successful brands in entertainment history, the couple, as you know,
planning that a lavish event at Madison Square Garden. All right,
google Henry Cavill Budge and you'll bulge and you'll discover
why there's such a frenzy about the Man of Steel actor.
(03:40):
He attended the upscale Royal Ascot event in England. He
addressed to the nines, including a tux and top pat
like think you know this British look in top hat,
three piece suit. Cavil chose to go Commando, his slacks
could not contain his package, and he's also loaned a
rare watch, which he showcased in a video for the White.
(04:00):
A source said, quote, Henry is absolutely mortified. The focus
was supposed to be on extraordinary one hundred year old watch.
Instead the internet found something else.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
To talk about.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
It was I mean, you know, look, yeah, anyway, you
can see Henry next week on Netflix in the Millie
Bobby Brown series and Nola.
Speaker 5 (04:21):
He knew what he was doing. I'm looking at the
picture right now.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
I don't think he knew what he was doing.
Speaker 9 (04:25):
He's holding it right in front of that area. If
you want to show off the watch, you hold it up.
He's literally it's down right there next to it.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
Well, he looks daffer. It's been more than forty years
after ET the Extraterrestrial hit theaters, director Steven Spielger has
finally settled a debate ET slimy or dry?
Speaker 2 (04:47):
Oh yeah, I never thought about it. I think ET
looks dry. It does look dr dry.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
Spielberg gidmits he'd never been asked that what he called
a wild debate question before, but he says the answer
is simple. ET was a lit little moist but never slimy.
He says The Lovable Alien was only dry when he
got sick near the end of the movie.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
So he's saying it's kind of a combo.
Speaker 5 (05:09):
Yeah, like touching a frog almost.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Yeah, I guess.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
So, yeah, that's a good analogy. And Madonna doesn't want
to get naked anymore. Her reason is simple but also
very Madonna and a new piece for Interview magazine, Madonna said,
I don't want to be naked because everyone's naked. I
want to do what people aren't doing, which is thinking
and wearing clothes.
Speaker 5 (05:26):
He was naked last week by crawling around.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
She also said that her biopic isn't going to be
made that after two years of writing and developing it
with Universal, the two parties had a falling out over money.
She said, I've had a huge life, so I need
a big budget. They couldn't get their heads around it.
Then Netflix said, hey, look, we'll make your life story
into a series. But then Madonna said, well then I
have to go back to Universal and buy the script,
which is also going to cost too much money. So
(05:51):
she said she's doing what she was put on this
earth to do, and that is make music.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Stevie Nix is going to be there.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
Olivia Rodrigo has announced her first ever Daisy Chain Fields Festival.
It's happening in Irvine at the end of August. All
female lineup, Sarah McLachlan and also Stevie Nicks, Chapelone and
Doci and so many more. And what about this Clive Davis.
We are mourning the loss of such a musical genius.
He had a meteoric rise.
Speaker 10 (06:19):
I lost my parents when I was a teenager. I
had four thousand dollars to my name. I studied law,
became a lawyer, and I through luck, I became lawyer
for Columbia Records and one day Overnight became its president.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
I mean, he makes it all sound so simple, But
what an ear that man is. Rest in peace to life.
Speaker 7 (06:42):

Speaker 9 (08:31):
New research has people who keep their phone notifications turned
off are happier because they're less controlled by their devices.
Science finds they proven drop in stress, a better focus,
even greater day to day well being.
Speaker 5 (08:43):
And it does make sense. Every ring, ding, buzz and banner.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
My husband, he's got all his notifications on an it's

Speaker 9 (08:59):
Every day one of those little suckers goes off. It's
your phone, saint, stop what you doing? Pay attention to me.
The average person gets hundreds of notifications a day, in

I just thought of the perfect notification sound, the girl
from obsession.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
Oh no, no, no, no no.

So experts say try this, leave your calls on, but
silence your non essential notifications, your alerts for just one day.
Try it for one day, research or say you'll discover
something amazing.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
One three point five Top stories, Top of the hour,
Good morning Well. A second ransom related message surfaced in
the disappearance case of Nancy Guthrie, the mother of Today
co anchor Savannah Guthrie. The latest message reportedly claimed the
eighty four year old died shortly after she was abducted.
The source added information in the note intended to convince
investigators that they'd issued an earlier ransom demand, and the
(12:00):
FBI has said is treating this seriously while continuing to
search for Guthrie, who's been missing since the first day
of February. Savannah Guthrie, I just addressed this on live
National TV.
Speaker 15 (12:12):
But I can't pretend I'm not here, and so since
I am, I want to just take the opportunity to
ask people to really to beg people to come forward.
Somebody knows something. And this is a news story today
that is on your radar. But this is the life
that my sister lives, that I live, that my brother lives,
that are extended families live, that our children live every day.
Speaker 1 (12:34):
Oh wow, she just made that announcement on the Today Show.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
And what about this.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
There's a controversial half billion dollar hydration break. Fox and
FIFA announced the hydration break during each half of a
World Cup match, there supposedly for the athletes's benefit playing
in the heat and humidity. However, revenue from the ads
played during the six minute hydration break amounts to half
a billion dollars. Fox Sports paid less than that for
the broadcast rights. The twenty twenty six World Cup tournament. Meanwhile,
(13:02):
the real football fans that crave tradition despise the new.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
Fangled breaks for commercialism.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
You can hear the crowd in the stadium's jeer each
time the referee calls for the hydration break. And today
just happens to be National Hydration Day.
Speaker 4 (13:15):
You gotta be hydrating. Make sure you're hydrating? Are you hydrating?
Do you know what could happen to you if you
don't hydrate? You could get dehydrating A.
Speaker 1 (13:26):
And hey, the Dodgers looking for a second straight win
over the twins of four to forty from Minnesota. Temps
are ticking up for your Tuesday. Highs in the mid
topper eighties. That mixed with the unhealthy hair quality. Try

Step over time.
Speaker 1 (21:28):
That can lead to heel pain, plant your fasciitis, bunions,
and hammer toes.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
So this doctor is saying.
Speaker 1 (21:34):
Treat flip flops like a swimsuit grape for the beach pool,
or a quick eron, but not something you should wear
in all day.
Speaker 2 (21:40):
And this is super fun.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
Guests on a whale watching tour off the coast of
Data Point where treated to an exceptionally rare site, a
gigantic sperm whale while they do visit us in the
summer months. They're really only spotted once a year at most,
so that was a really cool thing happening.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
Hope that that whale shows himself to us again.
Speaker 1 (21:57):

Never ever did I ever think that this morning, upon waking,
I would learn that this is a myth, that seventy
five percent of us are chronically hydrated. They say, it's
just not true that everyone thinks for hydrated or dehydrated.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
Yeah, but we're actually not that.
Speaker 1 (24:04):
Most of us drink enough liquids every day that were
not dehydrated.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
So who's pushing that big live.
Speaker 1 (24:09):
I really don't know, but it's National Hydrate Day. And
you know in World Cup soccer, they take hydration breaks
that are six minutes long and they've made half a
billion dollars in ads off that, so fans are furious
about that.
Speaker 2 (24:23):
But I mean, it doesn't mean that you shouldn't hydrate.
Speaker 4 (24:26):
You gotta be hydrating. Make sure you're hydrating. Are you hydrating?
Do you know what could happen to you if you
don't hydrate, You could get dehydrated.
Speaker 2 (24:38):

Speaker 12 (25:52):
This good morning Coast. This is Wendy from Egrock. Vegas
is the best. And I was able to win on
a royal flush for my favorite letter Ride card game
and that pays one thousand to one. So the crazy
part is that I had tipped the dealer the dollar
(26:14):
to play herself. So she got one thousand dollars off
my Royal flush too.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
That's great.
Speaker 9 (26:22):
Yes, dealers can get paid everybody with their own game.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
You can dip them. That seems shady. You've never tipped
your dealer, like when you leave, if you leave, I
was just literally just there.
Speaker 5 (26:35):
Three weeks ago we won eight hundred and seventy five dollars.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
You have to tip, oh Vegas one O one.

back that we can't play back because it's about Henry
cavill And he wore an English morning suit, which is
like a top hat and tails, and he went.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
Commando.
Speaker 1 (27:15):
So he's wearing an one hundred year old watch and
the watches near the commando area. So now people are
calling him out for going commando. It's really about the watch.
He's mortified, is he though? So we got to talk
about him, but we can't. We can't quite share.
Speaker 2 (27:31):
They're calling it the bold Frenzy. But talk to us.

Speaker 12 (27:58):
The waiter said, would you like the specials take a
lobster sixteen ninety nine. We're like, yeah, give us two
the best, most delicious, high quality, so good. We're telling
other people, other customers get it. It was actually sixty
nine ninety nine each.
Speaker 2 (28:16):

Did you know that all the tight ends in the
NFL like get together for tight ends.
Speaker 2 (28:48):
They really I think it's so cool. Yeah, there's a
tight End University.
Speaker 1 (28:52):
It happened yesterday, Sir Taylor Swift was there with Travis
Kelcey in Nashville. Was co founded with a former NFL
or a fellow NFL is George Kittle and Greg Olsen.
So along with Travis, they they made tight End University.
Speaker 2 (29:08):
I wonder like when Travis and Taylor.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
First started dating, if there were a lot of jokes
about titans, you know all that stuff. Yeah, well, anyway,
there is some prenup news.
Speaker 2 (29:19):
Sala, we want preeing up, weal up.
Speaker 1 (29:22):
Scott Swift drew up an ironclad prenup to shield his
daughter's roughly two billion dollars in business and music assets.
Travis Kelsey has no problem with it. So Scott Swift,
they call him a fist and a velvet glove.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
I like that is not great. Yeah, polite and warm.
Speaker 1 (29:39):
Until it's time to protect his daughter Taylor. So sources
say that Kelsey holds Scott in high regard and credits
him with creating one of the biggest music brands in
the world.
Speaker 2 (29:49):
So I guess it's all good.
Speaker 7 (29:52):
Hi, this is Taylor Swift.
Speaker 6 (29:53):
This is post below.
Speaker 2 (29:54):
This is Miley Cyrus and you're listening to the L

like the same energy, doesn't matter like late at night,
early in the morning.
Speaker 2 (30:32):
He's just what a sweetheart. We love you.
Speaker 1 (30:36):
It's also Jason Maraz's birthday. Jason has our quote of
the day. He says, you don't have to be perfect
to be amazing, And we end every show with a
quote in a kiss. So there's your quote, but your
kiss here on National Let It Go Day. So we
started the morning talking about let It Go Day and
how you celebrate is by just letting go of the
(30:56):
things that don't serve you, whether it's lingering, regrets, are
grudges or negative emotions, just you gotta just let it go.
And we had so many people leave us talk backs
about grudges. They're trying to let go. Yeah, which is great,
it's first step. Carmen Carmon says she's holding on to
ten grudges. No, no, you gotta your mind, Carmon, Carmen,
(31:17):
come on, okay, well just let it go.
Speaker 6 (31:25):
Alarm clock rings and Ellen's on, Ryan's brewing coffee Strong, Darlene,
