Jared Hudson joined us Now our buddy of former Navy
seal in the US Senate Canada to talk about what
happened in Alabaster yesterday as an ICE agent was injured. Hey,
welcome in, Jared, Glad to have you back.

So I saw this story and after that, my gosh,
you know, all this stuff's coming, it's ringing home here
in Alabama. We've certainly all seen what's happening in Minneapolis
now with the pushback on ICE in there and the
violence that's been taking place. So what was the situation
with this ICE agent? Apparently she was injured. What happened?
Speaker 2 (00:33):
Yeah, without going specifically into everything, I think she wound
up getting some bumps and bruises, bumped her head and
either way was assaulted by somebody who was resisting a
lawful rest. I mean, that's what these ICE agents are
here to do. They're detaining individuals who have committed a
crime other than being an a legal immigrant already, that's

the other side of it. It's not like they're just
rolling folks for being illegal immigrants. That's enough as it is,
But most of these individuals have you know, assaulted, somebody,
robbed somebody. We see him on the human trafficking side
with what I see showing up to purchase a child.
And right now they're being pushed and told by left

wing nut jobs and by activists and by members of
even the government on the Democrat side to resist law enforcement,
even to the point that they heard of harm law enforcement.
And now this individual that did this, he's looking at
they called him. They called him the other day. I
called some of my guys over there and said, hey,
is everybody all right? What's going on? They said, everybody's

all right. We got the guy. But now he's looking
at ten to twenty years for assault on a federal agent,
as opposed to being able to go back across the border,
even with money in his pocket. Going across the border
with money in his pocket. Hey, you know, good luck
come in the right way. He ain't even getting that anymore. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
No, And this was a targeted arrest, right, This wasn't
a sweep where they're just grabbing in people.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Yeah, without getting too much into the specifics of the
operation and that I was told about, Yeah, all of
these arrests are targeted arrests.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
Yeah, that's what I thought, you know, and these Democrats
and these knuckleheads in Minnesota and these sanctuary states and
cities are pushing back like we're just trying to, you know,
be mean spirited to and people that want to come
make a better life for themselves in our country. I
just don't that's.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
Not at all. Well, that's how you find out that
most of it because these are undocumented immigrants, right, they're
illegal amens, so they're not documented. The only way that
we know they're here is when they commit a criminal act,
they have a running with law enforcement, and then law
enforcement in the state of Alabama. I mean, I think
the legislation was pushed in twenty eleven during the Obama
administration when he was deporting so many illegal immigrants that

all Alabama law enforcement would would uphold and support, you know,
working with federal agents and their deportation efforts. Now in Minnesota,
we don't see that, right, So but now there's you know,
the mayor of Irondale just came out recently and said, hey,
we're not going to work with ice and the split
in the part of families, which it disappoints me. We
worked with Irondale all some human trafficing training and operations

with my organization six months ago. And I want to
say that two if I remember right, It could be wrong,
it might have been another operation, but I want to
say two of the seven we arrest over twenty four
hours were illegal immigrants. And that's pretty common. About thirty
percent of the guys we get on human trafficking operations
or illegal immorants and then they get put on an

icehold and they're deforded. This mayor is basically doing a
dog whistle and he's saying something that is not true.
I say that are not splitting up families. They're going
after criminal illegal aliens. They're targeting them specifically because that's
how they find out who they are when they commit
a crime against in our case, the citizens of Alabama

and Minnesota, which seeming all the citizens of Minnesota either way,
to commit a crime against American citizens, and it's the
job of the federal government to make sure that we
get those out of here and send them back to
the country that they that they came from. If you
want to enter this country, there's a right way to
do it, but definitely don't enter this country. Doesn't matter
if you're legal or illegal immigrant. Don't enter this country

and think that you can break the laws.

Amen to that, And I don't understand it. Nobody in
this country wants crime in their backyard. And for ICE
to say, look, law enforcement, we need your help upholding
the law. We're a nation in cities of law and order.
And you've got criminals in your jails. Just hand them
over and we'll take it from there. And they're saying not,
we're not playing ball with you. And now you've got

to bring an extra staff to protect those ICE agents
that now have to go into a house somewhere because
the jails let them out, didn't want to cooperate. And
you've got a monster a situation that could have been
handled by a couple of officers and a tahoe underneath
the you know, the the transportation area of the jails.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
So I just say, and if they do it that way,
nobody gets hurt, nobody gets shot, right, no issues that
go on because it's it's already dealt with. On the
other side of it, they're releasing violent criminals into society.
I mean, we just say. The Lake and Riley Act
has just passed this summer, and everybody knows that story.
These are the individuals that Democrats right now we're fighting for.

That's who what they shut down the government over is
these criminal individuals who mean us Alabama citizens of American
citizens harm. And that's the problem.

Why did the Irondale mayor say I'm not going to
cooperate with ICE.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
You know, I don't know, I just saw it in
an article this morning or maybe last night, but it
was essentially, Hey, I believe ICE is splitting up families
and we're not going to cooperate with ICE Terran families apart.
And that was kind of his statement, at least what
I read that that is a false statement. That is
not true. We're protecting American families. And that's the thing

that bothers me the most. It's kind of like when
the plane's crashing, put on your mask and put on
your kids mask. We've got to protect families in Alabama,
citizens of our communities that are paying taxes, that are
going to work, that are doing everything thing that they're
supposed to do to own their piece of the American dream.
We've got to protect our citizens. That's what the government's

in place for. That's one of the very few things
the government's in place for is to uphold the constitutional rights,
the God given rights and the citizens. And when you
say stupid stuff like that, you're obviously not doing it.

Yeah, it's ridiculous. Common sense is get criminals out of
here in Irondale, Mayor. If that's the case and you're
not cooperating with law enforcement, you probably need to resign.
