Speaker 1 (00:00):
Kirby Ferris. Joins is now from Ferris, Riley and Kirby.
Good to see it morning, Jayt.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
And I've been listening to your show religiously and you
have been hitting some really really important topics. But college
football is thirty days away. I haven't heard you hit that.
It's forty five days a mon Okay. You know how
I know he's counting right? My wife she posts something
every every time every year. You know, Alabama will use
players jerseys to countdown. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
So forty six was Michael's numbers, so he used to
use his jersey when it was forty six days. Okay.
So Judy posted that yesterday, forty six days, and you
know I said, oh, there it is. Okay, I know,
and it's going to be one hundred and seven heat
indext to day. Gosh, I am so tired of her college.
Oh look after July fourth, it's back to school sales
are on to see us summer. It's time to get
(00:47):
ready to fall.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
And last year you and I did the Top twelve.
Remember click through the top who we thought was gonna
be in the playoffs at the beginning of the season.
I'd love to do that again. Oh yeah, yeah, definitely.
Well we'll play with that all season long. All right,
I want to get your thoughts on the Epstein thing here.
As you may have heard, our last guest was with
an organization that's about just as Epstein, justice and meaning
justice for the miners that were involved in this, the
(01:09):
victims of the crimes and the sex trafficking that was
going on. And with that said, obviously there's a lot
of noise right now on both sides of the aisle.
Everybody's got an opinion on why the President campaigned on
releasing all of this in full disclosure and then backed up,
and now he's even saying there's nothing to see here.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
It's you know, it's a hoax. Yesterday our own party
is saying, Speaker Johnson said, let's go, we got to
ham this what's happening here. Senator Turberville said, it'll all
come out at some point. You know, I'm happy where
we are in this. Pambania said, I'm still looking into it.
My thought is, what if they did get into this
and there's something big and horrific that none of us
(01:49):
know about that could have major negative implications, not just
exposing people that were on the island and or on
the clientless but possible, you know, threats to human life
in this, and they want to go after some more
bad guys and exposing all this right now, full of clear,
full disclosure, would you know, hinder the investigation. You hear
(02:10):
that a lot from law enforcement. You want to know
about it. We want to tell you about it, but
we can't right now. So the messaging on this is
kind off.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
It's not a good look. What you're describing a moment
ago is transparency. Transparency is going for national security reasons
we cannot tell, or for other reasons.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
There's the other word.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
But we're going to and we are looking into this.
That's a form of transparency.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
Now can go Okay, We'll wait then we'll hear more
about it down the road.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
Yeah, you're doing what we need you to do.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
But it sounds like now and I don't think it's
going away. The public won't allow I don't think so either.
So what will force them to have full disclosure at
some point is that the courts? Is it? Legislators? I mean,
Gilaine Maxwell is still alive, she knows everything, So what
do you think thing's going on? First of all, and
what could force it JEDDI.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
I don't think the answer is legislative. I think the
answer is through the judicial system. You know, we have
there's lawsuits being filed currently, a couple that I read
about over the last couple of days under the Freedom
of Information Act, and under the Freedom of Information Act,
we should be allowed to get everything that is not
(03:23):
protected for some reason, like you've been describing. So we
are entitled to that as citizens. So those lawsuits are
already filed.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Okay, So if the lawsuit comes to the courts, district, State, FEDS,
you know, maybe US Supreme I don't know how far
this goes up the ladder and the judge says, look,
you've got two weeks to tell me why we shouldn't
do this. At that point, Pam BONDI could go to
the judge and say here's why yes, And the judge
could come back and say they have reasons. The investigation
(03:53):
is underway, we're not releasing now, and you know we're
on this and we'll keep an eye on this, but
at some point it will I think the.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Judge would let us know those reasons, not with any specificity,
but there's more to this legal reason in the opinion
the judge would say, this is legally why what would
be legal reasons that there is bigger picture here that
we realized the bigger picture has to do has to
be something that is compromised, and compromised as some form
(04:22):
of national security or people's safety in order for the
courts to be willing to hold that back, not just
it's not going to be people's lives. So and so
those names on the list are some movie stars on
the list. That's not enough.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
Well, we get to the bottom of this at some point.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
I think we will, and I think we will because
of what you said a moment ago, and that's that
people are not going to let this go. That the
Democrats they wanted to cover it up. We thought this
administration was going to come forward. Now they're telling us
something different. And I think average Americans like us are going,
we're tired of this.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
We want to know for no other reason that the
victims need accountability.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
I was wonderful to hear his perspective from the victims
perspective of somebody advocating for them, because I haven't seen.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
Enough of that. All right, Well, good to see a courtage,
to see you thanks for wayne in I appreciate you.
Take care
