(00:05):
By B five. If it's aboutthe rc detalk station Fridays, there you
go, Vas Barber Streish. Yeah, should listen to the lyrics of that
(00:32):
song if you're not familiar with it. That's why I always start the fifty
five case Morning Shore with it andhalf for the whole time I've been on
the radio. Anyway, Brian Thomashere, Glad to be a happy Friday
to you. Danny Gleeson in therecovering one more day for Joe's trekker.
We all Hoper is coming back onMonday. Seems to be okay. He's
awake. I texted him this morningfind out what we were talking about with
(00:53):
Dave Hatter, and he got rightback to me. So, Danny,
he got up this morning, althougheven if he got up like with the
last two hours, that would stillbe sleeping in for for Joe. Yeah,
because what he gets here like awhat one p thirty or something in
the morning, two o'clock in themorning. Yeah. Anyway, I'm still
hoping Joe's doing fine, and Iknow he appreciates the inquiries about his health
and the prayers and thoughts and lovegoing his way. So Joe, if
(01:17):
you're out there, listening right now. His fingers are still crossed, but
he reported he except for the surgerypain. I texted him yesterday and he
said, no leg pain. Still. He said, I'm not out of
the woods one hundred percent. Isaid, dude, you got surgery on
Tuesday. Nobody's one hundred percent outof the woods just a couple of days.
So anyway, happy for Joe,I really am, and I'm happy
(01:41):
it's Friday, as I always am. Maybe lighting things up the whole morning
if we can get away with that, although there's a lot of things going
on I wasn't really quite sure whereto start this morning. The executive privilege
came by Joe Biden is absolutely sidesplittingly comical. I will get into that
at some point, but I didmention tech Friday, Dave hatter uh a
variety of different topics to talk aboutwith Dave, and that's at six thirty
(02:06):
and then Ron Wilson at the tailend of the program at eight thirty.
Between now and then, you canfeel free to call maybe you got a
topic you'd like to talk about.I'd be more than pleased to go down
that road with you. Since Ireally haven't organized my thoughts this Morning five
one, three, seven, four, nine, fifty five hundred, eight
hundred and eighty two three talk Gowith Time five fifty on AT and T
phones and check out the podcast page. Fifty five. KRC dot com got
(02:28):
your uh my discussion with Jordan Facchettifor Americans for Prosperity on the Border tour
they're doing here in Ohio that kicksoff on Monday. Quite a few opportunities
for you to get it, likeit's a virtual reality tour the Border.
They got a VR headset. Iguess they recorded some you know, real
time footage down there in the southernborder, and uh I, i'd be
(02:50):
rather interesting. I've never worn aVR headset. Danny, you know you
haven't haven't either. I figured you'rea you're a young man. I figured
that'd be something you would you wouldhave been encountered by now. I have
really no desire to wear one ofthose. Well it's creepy, yeah,
but for me, the I don'teven like headphones. I never use headphones
(03:12):
except for the morning show, andwhen I do, one of my ears
is not covered by the headphone becauseI want to know what the hell's going
on around me. The idea havinga head gear over your head and you're
deprived of the information visual information thatin the room where you're sitting with that.
I don't know, I just findthat weird anyway, whatever, that's
just me. I'm todd of myopinion on that anyway, Tek Friday,
(03:34):
Ron Wilson and your phone calls, and so why not let's just look at
some polling information as title nine comesup in it a little tiny bit and
I got an interesting commentary from SophiaLaurie who got chucked out of a California
public library for a comment she madeabout men competing at women's sports. And
(03:57):
quite a victory there. But she'san illustration of something I think everything needs
to do, which is fight back. Ah, what do we got here?
Let's see Signal poll President Joe BidenDemocrats losing support among my black friends,
black voters. This is a newpoll of thirty nine battleground congressional districts
(04:19):
conducted in twenty states by Signal.Black voters are frustrated the Democrats are appeasing
leftists rather than looking after their ownlegitimate concerns. According to Signal Vice president
of polling Brock McCleary. Brock McClearyDemocrats are in trouble with black voters,
as the number of those saying DemocratParty is more extreme than the Republican Party
(04:43):
has increased by twenty percent since March. Biden similarly in trouble, with over
a third having an unfavorable view ofthe president, largely because they're most concerned
about the cost of living and notideological issues like climate change and election integrity
that the Biden administration keeps harping on. I guess abortion hasn't even registered at
(05:04):
least in terms of the Black votersout there. Well, here are the
key issues for black voters. Inflation, Israel, hamas were and Gaza Title
nine in the southern border. Thoseare the ones that are hurting Biden,
according to Brock McCleary. Sounds likean action figure, doesn't it. It's
(05:24):
troubling that the third of Democrats usethe word justified to describe their view of
the pro Palestinian protests, while lessthan half of that amount will describe them
as offensive. But it's clear thoseDemocrats are ideological outliers when over eighty percent
opposed the protest outright and support thepolice clearing out the encampments. Interesting showing
(05:46):
of respect for the police department inlaw and order. How about that?
I thought, what weren't we giventhe memo that the from the Black Lives
Matter folks that the one percent ofthe black population has disdained for the police
department. Hmhm. Biden continues,Brock McCleary said two needlessly alienated voters,
(06:10):
especially with key groups like parents. His push for new Title nine rules the
latest example. Over sixty percent ofparents oppose requiring universities to give biological males
who identify as females the same rightsand protections as biological females. Ah,
how about that. See, youare on the right side of the ledge
of that issue. You hate tosay it out loud because you think everyone
(06:31):
around you is in favor of thatstuff not. Moving over to a Zogbie
poll last week, one in threeyoung black and Hispanic voters claim to go
with that food at least once aday last month under Biden nomics, if
you want to call it that, thirty four percent of that poll, thirty
(06:51):
four percent of Black voters ages eighteento twenty four experienced food and security in
the past month, making them nearlyfive times as likely as voters age fifty
five to sixty ninety go hunger. That's not good Bidenomics at work. Let's
see here McCleary brock McCleary. Amongkey voter groups like college educated women,
(07:13):
married women, and black voters,Trump's approval has jumped five percent. So
bottom line for the signal poll resultsthat brock McCleary was talking about Biden.
Trump's ahead of Biden forty seven fortyfive head to head. His approval in
the eyes of likely voters, though, if you look at that independently,
Trump has a forty eight percent approvalrating to Biden's thirty seven percent. Independently,
(07:40):
polls from the New York Times,Siena College, Philadelphia Inquire all showed
Trump leading Biden in the five keybattleground states. How about that. Let
us see here Siena College poll thatwas the one that was just reference there
at the bottom by the New YorkTimes in Philadelphia inquired Trump in Nevada,
(08:00):
Biden trails Trump in Nevada by twelvepoints, thirty eight fifty Georgia he trails
Trump by ten points. Michigan andArizona, he trails Trump. By seven.
The other two states, I guessthey're kind of neck in neck Pennsylvania,
(08:20):
Wisconsin. Trump's ahead by three inPennsylvania, Biden's ahead by two in
Wisconsin. But those two polls, that's within the margin of error. So
that's rather interesting. If you moveover to the Real Clear Politics average,
which takes all these polls and crunchesthe numbers down, that suggests that it
mirrors the one from Siena. Trumpleads Biden in three Sun Belt states six
(08:45):
point two in Nevada, five pointtwo in Arizona, and four point six
in Georgia. Pivoting over to theWisconsin numbers, Real Clear Politics show that
the Great Lake States tend to beup for grabs. Trump ahead in Wisconsin
under the Real Clear average by pointsix point eight Michigan, and two points
in Pennsylvania. So very very tightraces in those three states. But you
(09:11):
can see the direction. As we'vebeen talking about these poles that have been
paying any attention to them, thenumbers reflect a pivot to Trump in spite
of what the Left is doing inthese ridiculous lawsuits against him. So and
yes, I'll qualify all this likeI always do. I know how we
all feel about poles. We haveseen poor results, but the trend over
(09:33):
time is a consistent one. Andthere are you know, left leaning polsters
and there are right leaning polsters. And that's why the real Clear Politics average
is kind of a you know,an indicator when you compare it to any
independent poll. If it mirrors theresults of that independent poll, then we're
finding this trend across the spectrum ofpolsters. Some of them have a vested
(09:56):
interest and actually tried to do itthe right way. Okay, I know
some people just like, oh,it's all a lie, it's all a
lie. But you know, atany given moment in time, we all
have opinions, and the posters arethere too, sort of grab that moment
in time. We are entitled tochange our opinions. Obviously, a lot
of people are gravitating more and moretowards Trump as they see Biden well period,
(10:20):
I guess, as they see Bidenperiod, and as we all feel
the negative effects of his policies. What is inflation of twenty percent since he
was sworn in? We got thisborder crisis that is just absolutely out of
control that finally people are waking upto over the period of time. If
you remember early on in Biden's presidency, like for the first couple of years,
(10:43):
you couldn't get the mainstream meet andeven open an eyeball on the southern
border. You had to rely onFox News and some of the other more
conservative outlets to even show up thereand see like, oh my god,
look at all the people flowing inwhen Trump was on. When Trump was
president though locked in cages. Youknow, it's just this crazy hysteria from
the left and was like twenty fourto seven. So anyway, I think
(11:07):
pretty much everybody, even those whodon't pay close attention to politics, are
catching on. I'm Joe Biden, and I approve this message. Keep your
stupid mouth shut. It's like myfavorite SoundBite, g Ratt. You can
get the podcast in my conversation withJay rattlofover Theft, you bout patasy dot
com. It is Friday, It'stime for a few words from Let me
(11:37):
thank you Danny for the bumping volumelike that get people out of bed in
the morning. Boy. Anyway,I mentioned this, uh, you know,
fighting back and since title nine thatchanges the title nine and the Biden
administration is shoving down our throats I'msorry. A guy is a guy is
(11:58):
a guy. You know, Ibelieve what you want yourself. If you're
looking in the mirror and you're seeinga woman and you're a guy, and
you know you're a guy because youlook down the twig and barries things is
impossible to overlook. I mean,it's there unless you's been, you know,
surgically removed. You can't deny thatit was once there, and it
(12:18):
doesn't change your chromosomal reality. I'mnever gonna get around that now. You
know. The libertarian in me isthe kind of person and I believe that
I don't care what you believe, and you're entitled to go through life with
their own set of belief systems, but you can't force me to abide.
(12:39):
It's the beautiful thing about being inthe United States of America. We're all
titled own opinions. Oh but arewe? And some people will keep their
mouths shut and not utter words analogousto what I just say because they're afraid,
Oh I'm not gonna face the heator get you know, yelled or
screamed at. Well, welcome tothe world. Tough your skin up and
(13:01):
take it. You're on the rightside of logic, reason and oh there's
that word science. But don't denigratedegrade them, unless, of course,
they start imposing their will upon everyoneelse to the exclusion of other people's what
I would argue more reasonable, rationaland scientifically based conclusions. With that,
(13:24):
I go to the little the youngwarrior here, whose name is Sophia Lori.
Fox News provided this. It wasan op ed piece, and you
know, I was thrown out aCalifornia public library. Note I used the
emphasis on the word public library becauseit's taxpayer funded, state run or city
run. But yes, they haveto honor First Amendment rights, don't they.
(13:48):
Yes, if this is a privateinstitution, they can shut anybody down
they want. But no, Iwas thrown out a California public library for
discussing if it's fair for men tocompete in women's sports. That is a
legitimate topic of conversation. And wecan talk about it all day long,
and you can have different opinions onit, but it's certainly fair to talk
about it. She writes. Ittook less than two minutes and the mention
(14:11):
of the word men, and Iwas shouted down. I had barely introduced
myself and a Heckler accused me ofcommitting the alleged crime of misgendering by using
the phrase quote men in women's sportsclose quote Oh my god, I'm offended
reading that. August twenty three inviteda Yolo County Library in California to speak
(14:31):
at an event called Forum on Fairand Safe Sport for Girls. Note that
the word girls is in there.Okay. As a former college soccer player,
I am passionate about protecting women's sportsfrom being invaded by male athletes and
welcome the opportunity to join Moms forLiberty and other women advocates in openly discussing
a relevant cultural issue. So far, so good. But all I was
(14:54):
able to share was my dream ofbeing a college soccer player since I was
ten years old, and how girlstoday could miss out on achieving their athletic
dreams because of being forced to competeagainst boys. Library officials shut down the
forum after only a few minutes, claiming that referring to male athletes in women's
(15:15):
sports as men violated library policy.See you're not entitled to have your own
point of view in the library.Oh really, should men compete in women's
sports? That was a central issuein our culture that demands honest dialogue and
robust debate. Unfortunately, just sayingquote men competing in women's sports close quote
is enough to get you censored,or, as I found out, it's
(15:37):
also enough to get you thrown outof a public library. It's common now
for radical activists to shut down alldebate on issues with which they disagree or
dislike, to silence the truth. And I'll pause in our editorial right there
and interject my own comments here. It's common for radical activists to shut down
all debate because they can't compete ina logical, reasonable, scientific based argue.
(16:00):
They shout you down. It's thefundamental basis that I've said many times
over the years. When you startmoving toward name calling or that type of
behavior, you must acknowledge that you'velost the argument. Name calling and shutting
down is not debate. You arenot engaged in free exchange of ideas.
You lose. Chalk one up inthe wind column for this young lady,
(16:21):
just the mere thing that this happenedillustrates that anywow back to her, this
isn't American and it certainly isn't constitutional. So with the legal help of thank
God for them Alliance Defending Freedom becauseI guarantee, as Sophia LORI did not
have four hundred to eight hundred tomaybe one thousand dollars an hour to retain
legal counsel to fight against this injustice. Thanks to the Alliance for Defending Freedom
(16:48):
as well as the Institute for FreeSpeech who helped her out, I joined
other women advocates in filing a lawsuitagainst the library officials for violating our First
Amendment rights. Women have the rightto speak about our concerns of being erased.
Women have the right to express ourdiscomfort and being put in unsafe situation
because men are allowed to access ourbathrooms, locker rooms, and sports.
(17:11):
Women have the right to stand forbiological reality and truth. Thankfully, we're
on the right side of the law. This week, we secured a critical
legal victory and reached a favorable settlementof our case with library officials paused for
a moment, again interjecting my commentsfavorable settlement if it was cash, that
just means it came from the taxpayerdollars based upon the ridiculous policies in place
(17:34):
at the public library. Back toher. As part of the settlement arrangement,
library officials agreed to change their policyto mandate that the staff quote shall
not interfere with presentations or other speechby individuals or groups that have reserved meeting
rooms based on the content of suchspeech close quote, and to instruct staff
to quote curtail and you disrupt thebehavior close quote during the events. It
(18:00):
was unnecessary because the Constitution pretty muchguarantees that. Importantly, Library officials also
agreed to allow us ladies to doa hold or hold rather a do over
event after turning out the lights onus the first time, we successfully held
an open discussion on fairness in women'ssports on April thirteenth at the library.
I'm hopeful other public officials, whetherit or library schools or legislators, see
(18:23):
this as an opportunity to take astrong stance for the speech and assembly rights
of all Americans. You don't haveto agree with me on whether men should
be allowed to join women's sports, but we should all agree in my right
to express my view the same asevery other American. My voice was a
little shaky that day in August whenI stubbed in a library and faced a
(18:47):
room full of people wearing shirts andholding signs blazon with the views that opposed
mind. But I knew I hadthe right to be there and speak,
a right to express my views andlisten to theirs. This is how we
will advance good policy in America byencouraging open dialogue and vigorous debate on issues
(19:07):
of critical importance. This is awin for everyone. Yes, God bless
you Sophie Laurie for standing up andfighting back. We need more people like
her, young lady doing this. And if she's a young lady and she
can handle the heat and social mediaand fear of you know, being criticized
or dogs or being labeled, thenyou know what, so can you five
(19:29):
eight fifty five KRC Talk Station.Hey, that earned me a thumbs up
from Danny. Thank you Danny.By thirty three fiftybou KRS Detalk Station went
a little along on that tear inthe last segment, using up some of
the time. That's okay, Wejust have time for Tom's phone call.
Five one three, seven, fournine fifty eight hundred eight two three Talk
Tom, Happy Friday, my friend, welcome back. Hey, Good morning,
three things real quick, Good morning, Joe Strecker, missed you this
(19:52):
week. Look forward to talking toyou next week. I hope your recovery
is very speedy. Danny did afantastic job this week. They did.
And if Bron mcleary didn't go toan Ivy League school and wasn't a jock
and president of his fraternity, Iwill be highly disappointed. That is a
(20:17):
great name. It is some somerich parents that we're gonna name me rock.
Yeah, that's that'll that'll get.Yeah, it just has that badass
or ring to it. You know. This whole thing with the LAP.
One of the things we hear alot of whining about from them is that,
(20:41):
oh, you're dehumanizing me. Youdon't agree with me, you don't
you don't agree with my addenda, you don't agree with my point that that
I should be able to do thisand it should be my right to do
that. Oh, oh, you'redehumanizing you know, you're you're not you're
not letting me have my rights todo this or you know. And then
they make up these groups of rightsas if they're enshrine somewhere, but the
(21:03):
actual rights that we really do havethey don't really care about for anybody else.
They want it for themselves and theydon't care about it for anybody else.
So we think about all the peoplethat the left dehumanized. You know,
we can start with this young ladythat you just read about. I
would say that would be kind ofdehumanizing to just shut someone down while they're
(21:25):
talking. You know, at thevery least, you are trampling all over
her rights that she actually has thatwe know are real rights. You know,
think about the way the left, and this is kind of weird,
how they have joined forces and they'repraising Hamas. The Left and Hamas is
like oil and water if you thinkabout it, the things that the left
(21:47):
stands for and the things that Hamastands for. You're not going to get
away with that stuff in a countrythat they control. But they are cheering
on people who decapitate babies, whorape innocent women and children, and then
and murder people just whatever. Youknow, it's Hamas doesn't dehumanize people.
Amas wants to annihilate an entire raceof people. Why isn't the left standing
(22:11):
up against Tamas and saying no,you're dehumanizing the Jews. And think about
the way the left reached quite anyof the politicians, but especially Trump,
that that's ridiculous. They are suchhyppocrits. They have lost their mind.
They are all wrapped up in theirfeelings about whatever issue it is that they
care about. That they are completelydisregarding the rule of law and our rights
(22:34):
that are constitutionally given to them. And I got two words for them,
and they're not Happy birthday, AndI got three words for the rest of
us. Don't vote Democrats. Havea great weekend. Bright you too,
Tom, and thanks for channeling mydad with that. I got two words
for eat and eat. Happy Birthday. It's five point thirty six. You
can feel free to call all theway I'm gonna get too, the stack
(22:56):
of stupid because it's Friday. It'seven better to do a stack of stupid
on a Friday. At least that'smy impression, my feelings. You can
feel free to disagree, though, and have a different opinion. Can you
play John the Fisherman even if JoeStrecker is not here? But yes,
in his honor Friday. It's aboutforty three by one thirty seven eight hundred
(23:21):
eight two three dog found fout fiftyon eighteen and three phones less. Okay,
Well, since it's Friday, eventhough Joe's not here, and he
normally compiles a nice stack of nakedpeople in the news. I tried to
(23:42):
do that with uh some success yesterday. So here we go. Just before
nine am Sunday. Denton Police.I'm trying to figure what state this is.
Anyway, it's in Denton. Gota report of a naked guy in
a local restauran parking lot. Courtto the report. Police responded to the
call for the indecent exposure at therestaurant fifteen hundred block of Teasley Lane.
(24:07):
Not quite sure where that is.It's in Denton, Okay. The officers
arrived in the scene, I founda thirty nine year old man standing nude
in the parking lot. When questioned, the man told police that he was
naked because he was trying to getcollege women to quote come hang out with
him close quote. I never triedit that way when I was in college.
(24:29):
Ports of demand complied with officers whenthey told him to put his clothes
back on, but he insisted he'ddone nothing wrong and didn't understand why it
was being stopped. Placed underrest oncharge of disorderly conduct and taking to the
city jail without further incident. Itreminds me of the you know, the
flasher, you know with the trenchcoats naked underneath for some reason, thinking
(24:52):
that you know, by flashing someonethat's going to sort of what caused them
to want to be with him orsomething like that. I don't know.
Some crazy people out there in theworld, aren't there. Let's see,
we got a naked guy running outof a church here. Evansville, Mississippi.
Man arrested Sunday afternoon and for reportinglyrunning in and out of an Evansville
(25:12):
church with church naked, according topolice there Kyle Pickett. Investigator Kyle Pickett
from the evans Ellisville rather not EvansvilleEllisville I apologize to the people of Ellisville.
Ellsville Police Department's investigator Kyle Pickett, officer said he said have received a
report of of the incident happening atthe West Ellisville Baptist Church ten thirty in
(25:33):
the morning. No injuries reported.Pick said the suspect, identified as Darryl
omawally found walking down a road wearingblacks, short sports pants and a T
shirt, described as white man takingit into custody without incident. Police department
receives security camera footage. It appearsto show the unclothed Omawally running into the
church and then running back out shortlyafter, with about a half a dozen
(25:57):
men following. I'm wally booked intothe Jones kind of adult detention center charge
with one kind of a Nichian exposureand one kind of disturbance of a business.
You remain booked in jail. Atthe time of the reports publishing,
it's five forty six five. Couldyou one coming to five afy twot about
(26:18):
KCD talks station? I have morestupid too, But hey, do you
have Gary on the phone, sowe'll take New Hampshire Gary's call. Welcome
back, Gary. Always good tohear from you. Hey, it's good
to hear it from you, Brian. You know, I was thinking about
what Tom was saying, and uh, you know, he was like,
it's not happy birthday, you know, two perty and it's got to bring
(26:41):
a warm spot to your heart.Because that's probably something your dad told you,
and it was a phrase he usedall the time. It was a
phrase he used all the time. That was one of his favorite phrases.
In fact, think about all theplustrated times that your dad said that to
you, and you and you,and it rubbed off on you. Yeah,
(27:02):
and now you're passing your dad's legacyon, which is really tough to
say that your dad's legacy lives on. You know, that's a good thing.
You know, Well, I justI just thought of that. I
appreciate that. Anyhow. Yeah, anyhow, what I really called up for
is I really think Trump made arash mistake when he accepted the the debate
(27:30):
because he you know, it takesmonths to create debate guidelines in that and
the first debate is on CNN.Who are going to be in charge of
all the camera angles, They're goingto be in charge of all the questions,
They're going to be in charge ofcontrolling who's ever behind the scenes.
And if you remember Night I don'tknow, this is twenty twelve CNN with
(27:56):
AKA forward to Donna Shalela, forwardto all her questions to I think it
was Hillary at that time. Soyou know that all these shenanigans are going
to be played off, and everybodythinks that Trump's gonna win. And I
got news for you. They're goingto be in charge of all this stuff,
(28:17):
and you know that they're going toforward and preposition questions that they've already
negotiated with Biden and company because theywant to see the first black vice president,
regardless of how qualified she is,because one month after Biden wins,
if he wins, he's gonna stepdown. You know that it's going to
(28:40):
happen, and then they're going totoss some time to somebody who can't really
be any more confident than Joe Biden. And so the expectations I was listening
to on Fox and that is,Oh, it's over. It's going to
be a spear. All Joe Bidenhas to do is survive and everything else
(29:00):
is going to be taken care of. And he's already won the debate.
They set the expectations super low onthe president, right and you know,
regardless of how he does. Ohman, he just knocked it out of
the port. I think it waslike the State of the Union. You
know, they're going to pump himup. It's going to be a fifteen
(29:22):
minute debate. He's going to saychocolate ice cream. Oh, oh my
god, did you listen to thatanswer? Outstanding? You know, well,
but I mean, listen, whateverhappens happens. But CNN's credibility is
on the line. See, theycan hardly get five years to watch their
show anymore. And if you don'tthink this presidential debate them it's gonna be
the most watched presidential debate ever,is not going to subject them to unbelievable
(29:47):
scrutiny by everybody, then, youknow, and if they believe that,
then they're missing something. They havea vested interest in trying to be neutral
on this, whether or not theywant to be or not. And if
they share questions in advance to Biden, then you know they're guilty of some
you know, improprieties there. AndI guess maybe we'll find out, but
I don't know. I'm willing towait and see what happens. I hear
(30:10):
what you're saying. I know that'swhat the expectation may be. But then
again, you know, I'm thinking, if I'm management at CNN, I'm
not going to rig the deck infavor of either side. I'm gonna let
it go. I want my credibilityre established, because my ratings sucks so
much. I want to show theworld that I can be neutral and a
proper journalist and do a proper job, you know, asking questions of the
(30:33):
presidential candidates. They can have amuch bigger, bigger stake in the action
than than than than giving a giftto Joe Biden. I don't know,
Okay, listen, Gary's on record. Gary's on record. I'm on record.
We're gonna find out when the debatehappens. We'll see if it ultimately
happens. Some question mark as towhether it's actually really gonna happen. Appreciated,
(30:56):
Gary, I have a wonderful weekendfiveifty six, fifty five cars to

full humans and detectors, threatening trustin online platforms. Yeah, that kind
of sums up a lot about whatI'm really concerned about about artificial intelligence.
People aren't writing their own material anymore. People's voices can be cloned, you
are They have made these videos nowso amazingly lifelike that you can't tell fiction
from reality, and that is goingto turn the world on top of the
(31:45):
ted and I just I approached thatfrom my perspective as a you know,
a recovering attorney and the evidentiary realityof going to court. I mean,
how easy would it be able tocreate it would it be to create reasonable
doubt in the minds of a ina criminal case just by merely suggesting that,
(32:06):
well, maybe that video is fakeartificial intelligence? Look here, you
know we did our own mean theresearch that this can be done. Can
you tell whether this is true orit's it's artificial intelligence generated. Here we
have a voice recording of filling theblank person the defendant or you know,
the the victim, and they're sayingsomething completely contrary to what's going on in
(32:27):
court here. Well, that's nottrue, that's not real. It's artificial
intelligence created. Really, how doyou know scary stuff really is so AI
generated? Reviews ful humans and detectors. How new college graduates can avoid increasingly
personalized job scams and Finally, cyberattack on Change Healthcare paralyzes pharmacies across the
(32:55):
United States. You know the painfulresults of hacking. So those are topics
with Dave had at the bottom thehour. We'll also gonna hear from Ron
Wilson out of the Garden into theStudio. I hope you listen to him
every Saturday morning beginning at six am. For his Wonderful Garden program in
the Garden with Ron Wilson. SoI always love talking to Ron on a
(33:15):
Friday, just lightening things up aswe close out the show. And I
always love hearing from you too.So we've got something to say or a
topic you want to talk about.Five one, three, seven, four,
nine, fifty five, eight hundredeighty two to three Talk Pound five
fifty on AT and T phones andfifty five care se dot com for podcast
when you can't listen live. Now, there's like a million different places I
(33:35):
could go, but this, thisone's kind of a joke. Biden is
in desperation mode with with with regardto his testimony in front of Special Counsel
Robert Herr. You may remember RobertHurr, special counsel investigating Biden's handling of
confidential privileged documents while not president, while vice president and senator and any private
(34:00):
citizen. He kept these documents andthey went all over the world. They
went to colleges, they went tohis Biden administry or you know, Biden's
center, and he had him inhis corvette, in his garage or stacked
up. I mean, y'all knowthe backstory on that. And why wasn't
he prosecuted Because Robert Her, aspecial counsel, determined that he was an
elderly I think senile guy. Hedidn't use the word senile, but when
(34:22):
the report came out, he prettymuch confirmed that, Yeah, those these
documents were mishandled. Now you cango ahead and prosecute Donald Trump. You
won't allow him to a certain executiveprivilege of him even though he was president,
But you're you're not going to goafter Joe Biden, who was handling
these confidential documents during periods of timeswhen he wasn't president, therefore didn't have
an executive privilege argument. But thepoint being he was feeble of mind.
(34:50):
No no jury in the hearts,in the conclusions of Robert Her, no
jury would convict him. They wouldjust think he's a doddering fool. You
know the conclusion most of us havereached. And the Justice Department released the
transcript of this interview last fall,Robert Hurb Joe Biden interview House Judiciary and
(35:17):
Oversight Committee says they want the audionow. It's a part of their investigation
of the Biden family business dealings.Garland. Merrick Garlands has denied the subpoenas
and they just held him in contemptyesterday. I don't know how far that's
going to go, because when youfind someone in contempt, guess who you
hand it over to. Yeah, the Justice Department, who has been observed,
(35:38):
probably wouldn't be interested in seeing thatcase through and going after Attorney General
Merrick Garland, in other words, their boss. So all of this side
show about finding him in contempt isyou know, it is indeed a side
show because it's not going to resultin anything happening. But he doesn't want
the audio tapes released, and sothey asserted executive privilege over the audio,
(36:02):
even though they couldn't and did notassert it over the transcript. So the
committee has the actual words. Theysee the exchange, it's written down.
What they want is that you know, the the inflection, the the you
know, you listen to me,It's like listen to Thomas stuttering all over
himself this morning. You want tohear how it goes. You want to
(36:25):
hear the inflection of voice. It'sit's revealing, but it also, as
the Biden administration knows, can bedamning. And that's exactly the point here.
They don't want to release the audio, even though the content is out
there in the world, because itis going to confirm what her determined,
which is the guy is basically spent. Biden sapped for the in and of
(36:52):
over two days. They want theaudio now. Transcripts turned over. President
asserted executive privilege over the audio tapes. Edward Siskell, counselor of the President,
in a letter to the chairman ofthe House Oversight in Judiciary Committee,
had this to say, quote, because of the President's long standing commitment to
(37:15):
protecting the integrity, effectiveness, andindependence of the Department of Justice and its
law enforcement investigations, he has decidedto assert executive privilege over their recordings.
Huh, the President waived any executiveprisons he might have claimed earlier because he
(37:37):
released the transcript. There is nothingto hide anymore. The information beyond how
Biden you know, his voice andin his stuttering around and how he answered
the questions. Beyond that, it'sall out there. Biden conceded that the
interview was not privilege, and there'sno legal basis to say that a recording
(37:58):
is different from a transcript. Now, if Hetty first claimed privilege, it
wouldn't apply anyway, because it relatedto his handling of documents while as a
senator, as vice president, asa private citizen. So there is no
executive privilege it would even exist overthese documents or over this transcript. I
(38:22):
mean, that's again why they didn'targue about or asserted over the transcript itself
when it was released, because theyprobably looked at themselves and said, if
we sert executive privilege, we're goingto be called out on that because he
wasn't the president when this happened.Cisco claiming the goal to protect the Justice
Department's law enforcement investigations, and thatmay relate to ongoing investigations, things that
(38:50):
are still in play, things thatthey're still looking at. You know,
grand jury hasn't been seated yet,we haven't handed an indictment. Our investigation
isn't over with. We still haveother people to interview in this release of
information might interfere with that. Allthat can make sense. I think it's
overly asserted, but you know,we'll give them to do on that.
This isn't a continuing investigation. It'sover. That was the her report.
(39:12):
Now we're done. Cisco complains inhis letter the transcript should be sufficient and
the quote absence of a legitimate needfor the audio recordings lays bare your likely
goal to chop them up, distortthem, and use them for partisan political
purposes. Close quote. Well,of course, everything's fair game. This
(39:37):
is Biden in real time. Weare entitled to hear it. I mean
again that the information is there,we can read it, and yet I'll
probably use for partisan purposes, ofcourse, And why wouldn't it. It's
just one more piece of evidence revealingBiden's cognitive state. It may very well
support what some claim was a ridiculousconclusion by Special Counsel Her and saying we're
(40:00):
not going to bring a criminal complaintagainst him because well, no jury would
find me. Come on, thepoor guy. Shouldn't we be able to
make that determination on our own isn'tthat a piece of information that might play
into our decision making process in termsof who we're going to vote for,
(40:25):
who's playing politics? It just cracksme up. Six fifteen fifty vic Kercy
Duxies. You see a lot ofpeople won't even pay attention to something like
that. I bet there are vastmajority of voters out of there don't even
know who special counsel her was,or the conclusion that her reached and saying,
well, Joe Biden is a feebleold man and therefore no jury would
(40:46):
convict him. So what's the pointof bringing these actions against him for mishandling
or classified information, even information thathe wasn't supposed to have access to in
the first place. Contrast that withDonald Trump boxing stuff up. At least
you have had an initial right tolook at it. If if you five
(41:14):
Kero see the talk station, I'mso happy it's Friday, David. I
always gonna know yeah out of him, even from beyond bringing it back up
at the top. Thank you.Kimberly Strauss over the Wall Street Journal Hunter
Biden debate. Finally you forgot aboutHunter Biden, haven't you? What are
(41:37):
happened to him? He's going totrial, and she writes, Joe Biden
Donald Trump set for a debate Junetwenty seventh, expect trials to be a
topic, not just mister Trump's finallytime to talk about Hunter Biden. Going
back to Gary's conversation about the debate, he thinks it's going to be a
(41:57):
big setup. CNN, it's goingto be biased toward about Biden. Camera
angles questions in advance. They can'tstop Donald Trump from interjecting comments like Joe
Biden's influence over his son and hisability to finagle millions and millions of dollars
out of these multinational corporations and thegovernment of the Chinese Communist Party in China.
That's going to come up. Andthis is kind of what her point
(42:20):
is. Mister writes. The nationwas largely denied information about the Biden family
business in twenty twenty, thanks toa compliant press corps, the censorship of
social media, and partisan Cabbala.Former intelligence officials asked her in the twenty
twenty presidential debate about his son's foreignbusiness dealings. Biden said, Hunter quote
has not made money close quote inChina that stories about Hunter's work for the
Ukrainian energy from Barissima had been quotetotally discredited. Close quote. In that
(42:45):
quote, fifty former national intelligence folksclose quote had pronounced claims about Hunter Biden
to be Russian disinformation and that hisinteractions with his son had never been unethical.
You remember those that year. Thenation won't be denied the facts this
time, she points out, Andhere's a summary. The laptop is real.
(43:12):
House investigations have documented Hunter's financial gainsin Ukraine, China and elsewhere.
Probes released sworn testimony that the dealswere aided by Joe's winks, nods,
calls in meetings with his son's clients, irs whistleblowers that provided evidence of Hunter's
complex web of shell companies and deals. Those facts have been backed up by
federal felony indictments for a gun relatedcharge, as well as tax evasion and
(43:35):
filing false tax returns. That's thetruth that we were denied in twenty twenty,
folks. More will spill out duringHunter's trials, now due to kickoff
next month. Hunter lawyer Abe Lowellkeeps scrabbling to push the proceedings off,
and this week he tried again toconvince Judge Mary Ellen Noryeka to stall the
June third federal gun trial in Delaware. No, that didn't happen. Lowell
(44:00):
protested to the judge that he'd onlyever penciled in that date. He said
preparation quote cannot be done in twoweeks. It just cannot close quote,
and claimed he was having trouble securingexpert witnesses. I love this. The
judge reminded him that his client's indictmenthit eight months ago and that Hunter's lawyers
knew of the investigation well before that. When Lowell insisted that he needed later
(44:22):
deadlines for pretrial motions, the judgeexplained to him that she was not his
scheduling secretary pol Lowell then said he'dasked the Apellate Court to order a pause.
Well, the appeal will go thesame Third US Circuit Court of Appeals
that last week refused Hunter's request totoss the gun charges entirely. The Ninth
(44:45):
Circuit also recently refused to dismiss taxcharges against Hunter Biden a California trials late
begin June twentieth. HMM Judge Noriekasaid she didn't expect additional appeals in her
case to succeed. And the chancesare high that Hunter's trials will have begun
or even conclud acluted as Trump andBiden take the debate stage. Wouldn't that
be wonderful? Kimery Strassel rights,There's a certain karming here left to spent
(45:10):
years engaging in lawfair against mister Trump, only to realize that most of their
cases may be pushed beyond the election. This is what happens when prosecutors bring
unprecedented, elastic charges that invite staxand pre trial motions, detailed fact finding,
and complex judicial decisions. Hunter's trialsare proceeding along normal timelines because they
are the sort of normal and understandablecharges that any number of Americans have gone
(45:35):
to prison for lying to federal taxand gun authorities evading taxes. As Judge
Riker explained to Lowell, Mister Lowellthis week, quote, this is not
a terribly complicated case. Close quote. How does Biden, mister Biden handle
this in the next debate, Especiallynow the story of Hunter Biden's business dealings
has been so thoroughly fleshed out.Back in twenty twenty, Trump was able
(45:57):
to hurl only unvetted accusations about Huntercashing in, But the House investigations and
federal prosecutions have provided concrete details,as well as proof that Joe routinely,
if carefully, used his influence toaid Biden family business deals. Biden stands
accused not only of unseemly influenced peddling, but having been untruthful to the public.
(46:20):
President doubt no doubt adopt a newdefinition of what counted as ethical during
his time in and out of office, such as Team Biden has migrated from
claims that Joe had never spoken toHunter about his business dealings to protestations that
he was never quote financially involved closequote. President may try to gin up
sympathy for a son who struggle withaddiction, But while many Americans might identify
(46:43):
with the father of a troubled child, few will extend grace to a top
officeholder who abused his position to enablethat child's reckless behavior and their family's profit.
Added this the unseemly backstory the JusticeDepartment and IRS whistleblower claims that political
or partisan actors work to protect thePresident's son from being indicted. That includes
(47:07):
this week's news that lawyers representing whistleblower Gary Shapeley have asked the Justice Department
Inspector General to investigate evidence that SpecialCounsel David Weiss is engaged in retaliation against
their client. More to come onthat one. I suppose biggest risk is
that Trump overdoes the Hunter theme whenthe straightforward facts of the situation speak loudly
(47:28):
enough. Mister Biden successfully minimized Hunter'sliability in twenty twenty. There's no hiding
it this time. A men.I'm glad you brought that up to the
top because the silence on Hunter Bidenof late anyway with regard to his protestations
on having to go forward with trialhave been rather deafening. Fifty five KRCD

Talk Station Happy Friday. Always madehappier with this segment. Look forward to
it every week. Brought to youby Intrust. It the best port of
the business career for your solving anddealing with your computer related business challenges.
Dave Hatter is the principle there, and it's in his company. And I
appreciate you. Appreciate you, UHand interest I for sponsoring this very informative
(48:13):
and often frightening segment. Welcome backand Happy Friday. Brother, Hey Brian
always good to be here in thiskind of this topic, this AI generator
reviews, fooling humans and detectors.I was commenting earlier, you know,
I just I just look at itfrom my perspective as a you know,
a now recovering attorney, the evidentiaryrealities of being in court, and I'm
(48:34):
thinking, like on along a criminaltrial where you know, reasonable doubt reasonable,
and if there's some piece of evidence, video camera, ring, camera
footage, a recording of a voice, as you have talked talked about time
and time again, it's easy toclone it. We are never gonna believe
anything. We can't believe our eyesor our ears anymore. Yeah, that's
where we're at. And uh,it's been a concern of mine for some
(48:55):
time. You know, you andI have talked about this for years,
but I thought this or it waskind of interesting. You know. Online
reviews have also come under fire fora long time, long before you know
generative AI and chat GPT tools thatproduce this stuff. But because let's face
it, if you are a personthat doesn't understand the review could be fake,
(49:16):
and someone goes out and generates abunch of fake reviews for their product
or service, it looks good toyou, right, yep. So the
fake the fake review thing has beenaround for a while, but now with
these synthetic media tools like chat GPT, you can crank out enormous amounts of
text at scale. I mean, you can use an API to automate this
(49:36):
process. So you know, ifyou know what you're doing, you could
generally generate a large number of incrediblyauthentic sounding reviews very quickly. And this
recent study, which I thought wasreally interesting because it gets into some pretty
some pretty intricate detail, shows thatmost people when they look at these reviews
can't tell not only whether they're fakein general, but whether they've been generated
(49:58):
by some sort of generative AI tool. Again, think of things like chat
GPT, Google's gem and i X'sRock, Microsoft Copilot, and there are
others out there. So they saidthree hundred and one participants split into two
studies, the average agent's forty sevenand fifty percent were female. That all
native English speakers from United States,Canada, UK, Ireland, and Australia.
(50:22):
But this is where I think itgets so interesting, and study one
participants were sharing a mix of realYelp reviews and AI generated counterparts. Created
by chat GPT. They correctly identifiedthe source only about fifty percent of the
time. Now the second study, everything was generated by chat GPT and they
only got it right sixty four percentat the time. So it's it's pretty
(50:46):
interesting to me that when you hadall AI reviews, people just couldn't tell
at all. And I also pointout, Brian, because we've talked about
this, there are many companies outthere who have been trying to create tools
that can tell you whether something wasgenerated through AI. One of the probably
(51:09):
more well known ones out there iscalled no GPT write play off the GPT.
And by the way, for folksout there listening hearing this GPT all
the time, it just means generativepre trained transformer. It's a way the
large language model works that produces theoutput. So you can take your synthetic
media generated by one of these tools, paste it into this and it tries
(51:32):
to tell you if it was createdby an AI tool or not. Now,
the study they used one of thesetools to do it, not this
one in particular, it didn't domuch better. And I can tell you
from playing with this. I haveliterally fired up chat GPT four had it
write something, paste it directly intothis box with no edits by me whatsoever,
(51:55):
and it tell me it was likeseventy four percent likely it was written
by chat gpt. Well it wasone hundred percent because I literally copied and
pasted it in. So you know, when people tell you these you can
use these tools to detect it,and you know that something was certainly written
by an AI. There's just noway to know at this point. So
(52:16):
you know, it goes to showon two fronts. A, you can't
believe online reviews, and I thinkthe credibility of them will further go down
because of these tools and the abilityto easily create very realistic sounding content quickly.
And then be going back to yourpoint, we are at a place
where you can't believe your ears oreyes. You've got voice cloning, you've
(52:37):
got the ability to create very realisticvideos, you create text, and you
know the impact on our society isgoing to be substantial. Anyways, you
mentioned the legal angle. You knowwe've already seen a case now where someone
used as a defense, oh Iwas I was deep faked, you know,
and just again for terminology purposes, you've got generative tools like chat shept.
(53:00):
They create synthetic media. Synthetic mediacould be text, it could be
audio, could be video. It'ssomething created entirely by the computer. And
then when you hear the term deepfake, and that is a specific type
of synthetic media, sorry that thathas some kind of negative, you know,
dubious purpose. It's designed to beto fool somebody rather than I just
(53:23):
want to write something using chat SCHPT. So I think this study just goes
to show you that we're headed intoa place where it's going to get harder
and harder to know what's real andwhat's not real. And it has the
potential to cause some major societal ofpeople as people use these to frame someone,
yes, to say I didn't dosomething, you know, exactly exactly.
(53:45):
Here's a video of me in Poughkeepsie, Iowa on the day you said
I murdered my wife here in Cincinnati. Right, Yeah, it's gonna goes
both ways. Let's pause, we'llbring Dave Tinfoil hot day, or we'll
report Dave back forty two about KRCDtalk station, Interest I dot Com.
Where you fine day, you've hatter. If you're a business gotter, you
(54:05):
need them all right, More scamsand personalized job scams. What's the story
on this one day? Yeah,so the headline about this, which I
thought was timely with people graduating fromcollege looking for jobs and just people looking
for jobs in general. Because jobscams are something they've been around for a
long time, they shift constantly. The FBI has got some great information on
(54:29):
their website, Internet Crime Complaints CenterIC three dot gov, as do other
government agencies warning about this. AndI mean, if you think about it,
Brian, how scummy is it totry to scam someone while they're looking
for a job. In most cases, you know they probably are already stressed
out, yes process. In manycases, you know they might be having
(54:52):
financial issues, and now you're gonnayou're gonna make their problems even worse by
dumping on them with some kind ofscam. So uh again, And I
thought this was timely because of thecollege graduations and you know, former students
now looking to get into the workforce, and there's so many different ways they'll
come at you. For example, there's the whole concept in cybercrime called search
(55:15):
engine poisoning. I think we've talkedabout it before, but there's nothing that
would stop me, as a criminalfrom trying to add legitimacy to whatever I'm
doing by going to Google or Microsoftwhe there being search engine or any search
engine and legitimately registering keywords and runningads on their platform. And I think
everyone that I hope everyone that listensknows. You know, in the old
(55:37):
days, it was really clearly delineatedwhat was a paid link and what was
an organic link something that showed upjust because it ranked well. Right,
that's harder and harder to tell.So I pay to get something in Google.
And now let's say you're searching fora job, something pops up,
it's on Google. You don't realizethat a criminal has literally paid to have
(55:58):
it rank. It feels authentic andlegitimate, especially because it's on Google.
You click the link and now you'redown the rabbit hole or in a similar
vein. And in addition to that, I might go to legitimate job sites
like Monster or Dice or glass dooror any number of legitimate job sites and
spend money to post a fake jobad because as a criminal, I know
(56:21):
you're not thinking, Wow, someonethat's going to post bogus stuff on glass
door and pay for it, soyou know they're gaming the system. And
they're creating authenticity and legitimacy by usinglegitimate sites to make their bogus stuff seem
more legitimate. So maybe I goto Google, I click a link,
it takes me to a bogus site. I use a job site, takes
(56:42):
me to a bogus site. Nowthey got me in their funnel, and
it will usually work something like this. Brian found this great job, and
all I need to do is takesome training in advance or buy some equipment
in advance, and then I willbe reimbursed for it. That's exactly what
haded my son. Yeah, itwas last year or whatever, I can't
(57:04):
remember. He he was he wantedto get additional part time work because he's
kind of a freelancer, and hehad this company. Yeah, we want
to hire you. He looked intothe company. It appeared legitimate. It
was a scam and he knew.I mean, it was a giant red
flag the minute they said you needto get a computer. So it's only
for us. It's you know, independent, it doesn't any connection with the
outside world. And I understand somebusinesses require that, but they insisted he
(57:28):
acquired this computer from some entity inTexas and they promised you the reimbursement.
It's like, you know, hangup the phone. I mean, it's
brilliant. Ultimately, that was theconclusion. And then they threatened him with
death when he when he refused towhen he refused to go through with it,
they said, yeah, you knowwhat, we're going to come after
you and you keep your eyes peeledand you know mind you're six or something
(57:49):
along those lines, because, uh, you didn't follow through with this.
So you know, we just turnedit and we turned it into the FBI
and they said, oh, thishappens all the time, and and do
not take that complaint seriously, youknow, Ryan, So I want to
come back to that. I'm gladyou turned it in again. Internet Crime
Complaints Center dot gov. I'll linkthat in my notes from today's show.
(58:09):
This is why it's important for peopleto report these kind of things, is
because over time, patterns emerge andthen the FBI and other agencies can put
out public service announcements to warn thepublic about this. You know, if
there's only one or two, that'sone thing, But when you see hundreds
of these coming in, because peoplesay, you know, I might be
embarrassed, I might feel ashamed.Or whatever, but I'm going to report
it anyway. You're doing the restof society a real favor by doing that.
(58:34):
Obviously, you know, any unsolicitedjob offer that seems too good to
be true probably true. I willremind folks, you know, as part
of their scam, they'll create doppelgangerwebsites, they'll set up LinkedIn profiles,
they'll look up the name of realpeople from legitimate companies or LinkedIn, and
they'll use these online tools to createlegitimacy. And then they just run a
count on you because you know, they're basically comment at the end of the
(58:57):
day, so you know, ifit's too good to be true, if
suddenly it falls out of the sky, and then there's a lot of pressure.
Like Jerry Gott Oh yeah, theywant you to buy things in advance
that you're supposedly going to be reimbursedfor, you know, all extremely likely
indication of scam. And they sendhim a check and of course it was
(59:19):
a bad check, so that thatwas another revenue. Of course it was
a bad check. Six. Sodon't trust any of this, No,
don't trust any other great, that'sit. Just turn off the computer.
At face to face meetings, Iguess we'll go back old school to comrement
this from mavity. If you havek City talk station, tech Friday,
Dave Hatter, intrust it dot com, cyber attacks on Change Healthcare. We
(59:43):
got another one of these men thehealthcare entities and really getting whacked with with
with hacks of late. Yeah.I wanted to touch on a couple stories
here because they make two important points. First off, as you mentioned,
Brian, healthcare organizations can you needto be attacked not only because they're a
source of money, but they're alsoa source of valuable information that can be
(01:00:06):
used for extortion later, whether it'sextorting the company who lost the information or
the individuals whose information has been stolen. And this is one of the reasons
why I am in a state ofconstant frustration, Brian, trying to get
people to take this seriously. There'sseveral reasons. I'll hit them all in
this segment, but first off,as a consumer, and I'm happy to
say Kentucky has now passed the KentuckyConsumer Data Privacy Law. It's not perfect,
(01:00:31):
but it's a huge step in theright direction. Most of the states
around Ohio have passed one. Ohiohas not they have one in the works.
I will tell you, Brian,in most cases, Ohio is way
ahead of Kentucky on anything related tocyber But you guys need to catch up
here. And you know, whenyour data is stolen from any company,
not just healthcare, you know, you get the letter. I'm sure every
(01:00:53):
one of your listeners and probably yourself, Brian, and I know I've gotten
numerous ones. Get the letter. All your data's been s here's some free
credit monitoring for a year, goodluck. And yet we as consumers are
the ones that suffer the consequences ofyour data being out there now, which
could be used for identity theft, impersonation, all kinds of nefarious things.
And sometimes they will try to extortyou as an individual. You know,
(01:01:15):
they'll say, hey, we havethis data, We're going to release it
if you don't pay us. Sothere's all kinds of consequences to you as
a consumer. But with these healthcareattacks, they're indicative of the nature of
our critical infrastructure. So the otherstory, which I didn't email you,
but I happened to just remember aswe were getting prepared for this segment,
(01:01:35):
cyber attack forces a big US healthsystem to divert ambulances and take records offline.
This is a different hospital chain. It's not the first time this has
happened. We talked many years agoabout the first known death as a result
of a German hospital offline and apatient died when they had to go to
a different hospital. You know, attacks in the real world as a result
(01:01:57):
of cyber attacks or damage rather inthe real world are increased common. And
that change healthcare attack. Apparently athird of all Americans perhaps had their data
stolen, and it was because ofstolen credentials use your name and password,
people using the same password on multiplesites probably and no multi factor authentication,
which we have been talking about forten years. Brian, Oh, yeah,
(01:02:17):
it's a recommendation of every government agency. It's a recommendation of every major
tech company. So your data hasbeen stolen. And now this other attack
that shut the hospital down, asension health system. It looks like a
ransomware attack. So their systems aredown, they can't help you, they
can't run their business. It's costingmillions a change healthcare thing. Again,
(01:02:37):
different story, but it looks likethey're out about a billion dollars so far.
Who's going to pay for that. You're going to pay for it as
a consumer because you're a data itwas leaked. We're going to pay for
it as a consumer because they're goingto increase your prices, and your insurance
may go up, et cetera. And these attacks are increasingly impacting the kinetic
or kinetic attacks in the real world, and all because organizations just continue to
(01:03:02):
not do the most basic things likemake sure you follow the simple practices.
There are organizations like the Center forInternet Security that have basic guidelines you can
follow. Microsoft and their most recentyearly report gave five things, and I
love the way they did it.If you do these five things and they
showed it on a bell curve'll stopninety nine percent of all attacks. And
(01:03:23):
it's the same stuff we talk aboutall the time. Have a good backup,
use multi factor authentication, simple stuffwe see over and over again.
It's not done, your data isstolen. You're impacted as a consumer.
But increasingly in the real world nowwe're having devastating consequences that are only going
to get worse. You know, you've seen Director Ray say he thinks,
(01:03:46):
you know, the Chinese Communist Partyhas infiltrated systems all across the country and
are just waiting for the right timeto push the button. He's also said
that he thinks that the Chinese CommunistParty has a fifty to one advantage in
terms of their hacking capabilities to theUS. We have got to take this
stuff seriously. I know we're outof time, but just yesterday Brian got
a call from a company here locallyunfortunately ransomware. Now, I want to
(01:04:10):
be clear, there's nothing you cando that is one hundred percent effective.
You cannot be impervious to this stuff, but there's a lot of simple,
low cost things you can do thatwill make you a much more difficult target.
This particular company totally down. Theirbackups appear to be encrypted. They
got a major problem on their hands. I mean, they could be down
for weeks. They may never recover. It's hard to say. So these
(01:04:34):
two stories, in my mind, point out the danger to everyone as consumers.
But the companies have got to takethis seriously. It's not just now
that your business is damaged, wereperhaps destroyed, but it has real world
impacts on our entire society period.Exclamation point underscore in bold They've had always
(01:04:55):
a pleasure frightening as well. Butwe got you here, so people start
heeding your advice. Do it day, I hope so, Brian, you
know, I'll put all this inthe show outs. And while Interest would
love to help you, even ifyou don't want to work with us,
can't work with the store, thereare companies out there that will help you
take care of these things. Please, please, please, people take this
stuff seriously. Amen. That's agood point, Dave, who says,
(01:05:15):
doesn't even have to me Interest it. We thank you for sponsoring the segment
of bringing this to our attention everyweek until next Friday. My friend,
have a wonderful weekend. We'll talkin a week. It's always my pleasure,
Brian. Thanks six fifty eight fiftyfive KR see talk station, don't
go away, be right back.Plenty to talk about in the seven o'clock
hour seven oh six fifty five greCD Talk Station frid Times. Wishing you
(01:05:55):
a very happy Friday. I alwayslove Fridays on the fifty five Case Morning
Show, even though Tech Friday withDave Headers scared the hell out of me.
Sometimes it's just all real though, that's the thing, or fake,
depending upon what you're talking about inthe context of artificial intelligence. It's all
fake. Yes, I get thepoint. Anyway, you can feel free
to call. We got plenty oftime between now and Ron Wilson joined the
(01:06:16):
program at eight thirty. Luss'ron, you're out there. You want to
come in early, like winding onthe Friday on a positive note with Ron
Wilson and Oh, I saw they'retrying the real quick your local story on
invasive honeysuckerl I was going to askhim about it choking literally choking the forests.
Last year, Great Parks employees andvolunteers cleared out forty nine acres of
(01:06:38):
this invasive honeysockral. It's terrible. It keeps everything else from growing. It
shades over regular you know, traditionaltrees. It prevents them from you know
reaching or you know, getting abovethe frey there in the fight for sunlight.
So but they are looking for volunteers, So if you have any interest,
get in touch with the Great Parks. I guess Great Parks of Hamilton
(01:06:59):
count because they're out there all thetime, apparently with groups of employees and
volunteers cutting them down and applying thisherbicide which kills them. So they work
from the inside of the forest outward, which I thought was kind of strange.
But the professional who spoke about thisthat if we started at the road
and worked through into the forest,he said, we would never ever overcome
the challenge. So they make pathsgoing into the forest deep and they work
(01:07:23):
toward the outside, but it goesbeyond forests. If you got invasive honeysuckle
when you ark, just get achainsaw and cut that crap out, just
nuke it, get rid of it. Sadly, my daughter and a boyfriend's
new house, they've they've gotten ridof eight of them so far, and
they've got like four hundred left togo. It surrounds the property. So
(01:07:44):
anyhow, I got that out ofmy system. On invasive honeysuckle five one,
three, seven, nine, fiftyfive hundred, eight hundred eighty two
to three Dog Time play fifty onAT and T phone Now no resturrection.
I wanted to go, although sincewe just got to have a tech Friday,
I'm gonna go ahead and go withthis. It's just a little complicated
to follow the sort of connection trailwith all these various groups, and I'm
(01:08:10):
always reminded of Monty Python's Life ofBrian If you ever ever seen it.
I think it's sides lovingly funny. But all these different splinter groups, splitters,
you know, you got the youknow, the gd in People's Front,
the Popular Front, the People's PopularFront, Campaign for Free Galilee,
and they're all just divisions and subdivisionsof every single one of the of the
(01:08:32):
groups there. This is obvious. This takes You can go back to biblical
times, Jesus at the time ofJesus walking around and doing sermon of the
Mountain times, and they all wantto get rid of the Romans. The
only problem is they keep breaking upinto different groups, and so they hate
each other, even though the uniformthe unify the the one thing that would
normally unify them is the one commonenemy, which is the Romans. So
(01:08:53):
there's a little bit of that that'sgoing on in here in this article.
But the fundamental point is, andI will read the headline I found this
over Joshua Klein over Breitbart. Majorreport uncovers Chinese Communist Party linked influence behind
left wing anti Israel Israel protests inthe United States. And I comment on
this regularly, sometimes in a speculativemode, but I observe the division in
(01:09:16):
this country on literally any given topic. And I went off on a tear
this morning. This young lady fortunatelywon her lawsuit. A library shut her
down because she was talking about inthe top of your conversation for the purpose
of the meeting was men in women'ssports. Although they didn't phrase it that
way, she did because she believesthat she shouldn't have to compete with men
(01:09:38):
in women's sports, and merely utteringthat saying men playing in women's sports is
offensive to the LGBTQ community, atleast one segment of it. And so
they shut her down, and theyshe ended up filing a lawsuit because it
was a public library and taxpayer dollars. They got to honor her First Amendment
rights, and she's entitled to ownbelief systems. But see, now there's
an area of division. Somebody outthere and me really think that by just
(01:10:01):
saying I am a woman, someguy saying I am a woman, that
we're supposed to acknowledge that, believeit, and join in his false understanding
of chromosomal reality. And I'm nevergoing to do that. I got my
own independent views. But see there'sa division there, And look around you
at the divisions that were, youknow, the stir of the Black Lives
(01:10:25):
Matter. You couldn't say all livesmatter, Oh no, no, no,
we're talking Black Lives Matter, whichhad ultimately a Marxist basis in their
principles and their statement. And onlineif you look at black Livesmatter dot com,
there are a bunch of Marxists stirringthe pot of division, but all
across society. And here's one morethat we've got going on right now.
(01:10:50):
But I've commented before, I said, don't you think our enemies love stirring
the pot of division in this country? That anything that unifies the Americans unifies
us to their detriment, because weare a stronger nation, joining hands and
sharing fundamental beliefs and inalienable rights thatother countries don't have. Having the choice
(01:11:13):
in our country, we should rallyaround that in and of itself, that
we are allowed to choose our ownpath. Now, we can't have any
of that either, because a strongAmerica means well defeat of these Marxist and
globalist principles that are being shoved downour throat. The Chinese Communist Party is
busily at work fomenting this division. And here's one key thing going on right
(01:11:39):
now, and that's the anti Israeliprotest going on on campus. They've got
to report that reveals these key radicalleft wing organizations that are central and the
current anti Israeli and anti American protestmovement are funded and significantly so and as
well influenced by a network tied toyes of course, the Chinese Communist Party
(01:12:00):
Chinese Party, which of course seeksto advance a revolutionary, anti government,
anti capitalists agenda that threatens US internalstability. H statement right from the article
now they describe as a major reportfrom the Network Contagion Research Institute published this
week details how the and here's oneof the groups shut it Down for Palestine
(01:12:25):
SID, the number four P shutit Down for Palestine SID for P movement,
which is connections with the Chinese CommunistParty through the Singham network. And
what they do is use protests andmedia campaigns to push this anti American,
anti Israeli narratives and ergo contribute tosocial unrest. You see, the goal
(01:12:47):
is the social unrest. I don'tthink these folks give a flying blank about
Palestine or Ukraine or anything else.It is a source to divide people.
They know, people have strong feelingswhen it comes to the existence of Israel,
the Jewish population, Jewish people generallyspeaking, that's a pot they can
stir and stir it they are.And all these young punks that are in
(01:13:10):
there, well quite often ignorance.Yes, the communists and the Marxist love
useful idiots. You don't analyze whatyou just go out and parrot what they
tell you to say. And thenthere are outside agitators found in most of
these protests. They have nothing todo in currently with the university protests,
nothing whatsoever. They don't go toclass there, they aren't even auditing classes
(01:13:31):
there. They're there to stir adivision and to foment this division and to
get their fellow leftists, Marxist peopleout there to present this visual, this
optical for us to consume. Thatmakes us think that, you know,
this is a genuine movement of somesort. It's a small sliver of the
(01:13:53):
population. And when you look atthe people that they've arrested and the number
of people that are arrested or thatare involved in these protests, find out,
well, how half of them, sometimes even more aren't even students at
the university. Why did they chooseto take over the university. I'll let
you draw your own conclusions on that. But they do it as a consequence
of coordinated effort funded Notice the youknow lookalike tents and the immediate the arrival
(01:14:15):
of all these supplies that's all funded. This is coordinated. They're prepared to
hit the ground running. That takesmoney, and the money's coming from the
chi cooms. So Singham network nowprominent groups within this SID four P coalition
which showed up in late twenty twentythree, including and here we go with
all these different names, Answer Coalition, the People's Forum, the International People's
(01:14:41):
Assembly. This is why it remindsme of that movie. No reference to
Campaign for Free galle In here anyway. They're all linked through financial, personal
and ideological ties to the Chinese CommunistParty associates Neville Roy Singham and his wife
Jody Evans. According to the report, Singham, a former consultant for who
Away as the Chinese Communist Party company, been involved in CCP operations have been
(01:15:05):
investigated by US, Canada and India, known for funneling hundreds of millions of
dollars in a pro China progressive advocacythrough his network, along with his wife
Jody Evans, co founder of theradical left wing anti war organization Code Pink.
You might remember that one, aswell as a board member of the
(01:15:26):
People's Forum, all actively involved inanti American and anti Israeli protests. This
report reveals. Now, this reportshows the Singham Network, which the guy
Neville Roy Singham leads, financially supportsthese activities, exploiting US nonprofit regulations to
funnel substantial sums into organizations that fuelanti American and anti Israeli sentiment. Non
(01:15:53):
governmental organizations, nonprofit regulation. Soyou set up your five oh one,
C three and or whatever the oneis political advocacy, you hit sing them
up for money, and you goout into the world and you sow seeds
a division. There's the setup. Now, that People's Forum, the one
that this woman, the wife JodyEvans, set up, admitted in twenty
(01:16:15):
twenty one that the Singham Fund ofthe group, which has received millions through
the Goldman Sachs Philanthropy Fund. Oh, other Singam link entities like Justice and
Education Fund, that's another, youknow, a nonprofit and United Community Fund.
Don't these all have really fun cozynames. It's written they have facilitated
(01:16:36):
substantial financial support to the People's Forum, that main group, and other associate
organizations, all of which is designedto foster and encourage and sew division currently
on college campuses and more more broadlyso in this anti Israel movement, groups
of in central and organizing large scaleprotests and encampment encampments, significantly influencing the
(01:16:59):
anti is movement through social media andalternative media outlets. Says there's sid four
piece sophisticated use of alternative media andsocial media strategies to spread these narratives.
Mobilizing protests that target critical infrastructure andpublic spaces is also detailed. They're going
to describe the alignment of the CCPlink networks with Palestinian organ terrorist groups,
(01:17:24):
specifically connections to the Popular Front forthe Liberation of Palestine and other extremist organizations.
You see, and I step awayfrom that, and I don't really
think personally they have a vested interestin these organizations. What they do know
is these are terrorist organizations. They'reviolent, and they will go after and
(01:17:45):
attack. And they of course drawthis significant passion on both sides of the
ledger. Whether you're Palestine Palestinian orinn ISRAELI very passionate about your physicians.
Let's stir that pod, let's takeover campuses, let's disrupt, and certainly
it all comes with great ease givensocial media. And that's the one thing
(01:18:08):
you got to look at the leftand say, gosh, darn it,
man, you got to give themcredit for being a well oiled machine.
And I wish every one of myconservative, constitutional loving friends, my libertarian
friends, and even folks on theproper side of the Democrat Party that actually
care about the existence of our countryand our country's future would collectively gather together
(01:18:28):
to fight back on this stuff.I wish we had a well oiled money
machine like these groups do. Whyis it and how can it be that
individuals like these group, these wealthymulti billionaires, and go ahead and throw
in George Soros, He's funding alot of this stuff too. I got
a separate article about George Soros andhis eighty one billion dollars going out in
the world. Why is it thatthey're so anti American? I mean,
(01:18:53):
when the vast majority of them madetheir millions or billions, as the case
may be, off of well, pretty much capitalism or some area and thereof
if they just started out in ared communist kind of country, they never
would have achieved the lofty status thatthey enjoy today, unless, of course,
they were the head of the party, in which case, like you
(01:19:13):
can see with Jijienping, he livesa slightly better life and a slightly greater
element of luxury in Jijienping's life,as well as his cabinet members and ministers
than the average individual citizen in China. Seven nineteen fifty five kr se detalk
station. If I went three toseven four fifty two to three talk five
(01:19:34):
car see de talk station, havegot some great plans for the weekend.
Ah, let's see here, Iquite sure where to go? Since I
only have like a manet in thissegment? Why not this one related to
absolutely nothing I've been talking about. Two foreign nationals now in ice custody immigration
(01:19:55):
Customs enforcement. They allegedly attempt tobreach a Marine Corps base this month,
confirmed yesterday. Happened May third atQuanticam Marine Corps Base, Virginia. Two
people in a truck were stopping agate. Driver allegedly told personnel there are
the officers there, that they weremaking a delivery to the post Office and
worked for a company subcontracted by Amazon, but had no affiliation and no approved
(01:20:16):
credentials. They were directed to aholding area for vetting, according to spokesperson
Captain Michael Curtsy. At that time, one of the military police officers noticed
the driver, ignoring the direct instructionsof the officers, continued to move the
vehicle past the holding area and attemptedto access the Marine Corps Data Marine Corps
base at Quantico. Due to theswift response and execution of their duties,
(01:20:36):
officers deployed the vehicle's denial barriers.I love that, preventing further access to
the Marine Corps base, and detainedthe individuals, who were eventually turned over
to ICE or US Customs enforcement.Fortunately no injuries reported. They didn't find
any weapons. But you know,I've been worried, and the whole world's
worried, and we've been given warningsabout foreign nationals and maybe the trouble that
(01:21:00):
they might cause when they come here, and that's exactly you know, this
seems to be an indication of that. Immigration Customs officials confirmed both suspects are
Jordanian nationals. Hmm. This fokespersonwas asked that he con confirm reports at
least one of them was on theterror watch list and if they were in
the country illegally, and he said, at the time, I can't confirm
(01:21:21):
anything like that right now. PressSecretary and Cran Jean Pierre Genius that she
is asked in the briefing about theincident. She confirmed the two were in
ICE custody. So I'm going tobe really mindful of these two Jordanians that
you're speaking of Aroma inized custody, and given that this is an active law
(01:21:43):
enforcement mat matter, and I haveto refer you to over to ICE.
She's great at referring people over topeople that we are referred to and consult
initially that say they can't talk aboutit. So we have this circuitous thing
that goes on with the White HousePress Secretary and other Washington officials. But
again, red Flag maybe seven twentysix right now, local stories coming up.
Phone calls are welcome. Seven thirtyHappy Friday, one hour from now,
(01:22:08):
always look forward to it. OnFriday, he's talking to Ron Wilson
asking him about that invasion honey stuff. I wish it was an easy way
to get rid of it. NOIit's a manual operation. That stuff.
You can feel free to call ifyou like talk about a particular subject matter.
Otherwise, I'm going into local storieshere and go to Covington, where
we have a woman facing charges aftercrashing a vehicle into a Covington home.
It happened Wednesday night, barely missingthe residents residing there. In seventy year
(01:22:32):
old Carol Hungler cues of operating avehicle under the influence and driving into a
home at the intersection at Clover Drivein Kentucky sixteenth. Happened around eight in
the evening. Please say, Hunglertold the police that she drank quote a
couple of margueritea's clothes, quote ofbuckheads before driving. Officers at the scene
noted that she smelled heavily of alcohol. Owners of the damage home say Hungler
(01:22:58):
missed them by only two feet asthe vehicle went into their living room.
Jeez charged one count each of operatinga motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol,
criminal mischief, and wanton endangerment.Wish they saw the blood alcohol content
because I'm sure they probably did oneof those tests. A couple of margaritas
when the police hear that they thinknot six since a man sentenced the twenty
(01:23:23):
years in prison after he was foundguilty by the Eastern Kentucky District Court of
distributing fentanyl that resulted in a death. Dominic Jackson, thirty one sentence yesterday,
previously pleaded guilty in federal court pleaagreement. In that plea agreement,
Law Enforcement Emergency Cruise responded to reportof a man found dead in Boone County
on no. Last of twenty one. CRUs determined the scene that his immediate
(01:23:44):
symptoms were consistent with opioid overdose.Police reviewed the victim phone, which contained
communications with Jackson indicating he sold fentanylto the victim earlier in the day.
They used the phone to text Jacksonif law enforcement did and arrange another purchase
of the same substance. Place laterfound Jackson had responded when he dropped off
six point sixty seven grams of asubstance containing fentanyl and para floro fentanyl.
(01:24:10):
That's a new one for me,and took money. The money to law
enforcement left. Jackson later admitted toselling the same substance to the victim.
Under federal law, he must serveeighty five percent of his twenty years sentence
and we'll have five years probation afterwards. Court ordered them also to pay and
forty three dollars in restitution to thefamily of the victim for burial expenses.

stock or bad guy of the week. But let me first point out it
(01:26:53):
is National Police Week, which providesus an opportunity to honor the police hard
work and remember the fallen heroes whomade the all stimate sacrifice in the line
of duty. National Police Week servesa solemn reminder of the risk officer's face
every single day and the courage theyexhibit while safeguarding our communities. God bless
our police officers, and welcome tothe fifty five krssee morning show Officer Lisa

You know, just I mean, how dumb? All right? Anyway,

(01:27:55):
pounds. He has a history ofa murder charge, Salonius, assault,
assault, domestic violence. Last allto live on Meredith and malhealthy and of
course his last name is Killings.Hm. Anyway, you're living up to
his name. All right, weneed to get this idiot off the street.
He's obviously dangerous. What do wedo? Give crime stoppers a call
(01:28:16):

an anonymous tip online at pete threetips dot com. Thanks again for your

guy. His pictures on my blogpage fifty by Carosey dot com. Remember
you do remain anonymous, and you'reeligible for a cash reward, which I
always suggest leave it with crime stoppers. You're doing us all a huge service
(01:28:39):
and that should be reward enough gettingthat kind of guy off the street.
Moving over to the phones, Igot Dwayne on the phone. Dwayne,
thanks for calling this morning. HappyFriday to you. Happy Friday, Brian.
Hey, I haven't heard anyone talkingabout the Department of Health and Human
Services defunding and debarring Eco Health Alliance. Oh, Peter Danzig, that happened
(01:28:59):
on Wednesday. And your friend's bride, Winstrup Playe headed the subcommittee. Yes,
in my hand, I was gonnaright. I swear to the Lord
Almighty, I am looking at Bidenadministration suspends funny to nonprofit the funnel money
to Chinese lab. I wanted togive Congressman Winstrom credit for that. I
even texted him early this week tothank him for that, and also a
(01:29:19):
follow up thanks to Congressman Brad Winstrop, who's who's uh who was just a
deposing in essence doctor Francis Collins aboutthe social six foot social distancing rule which
was whole cloth made up. Soyou're a good man, Dwayne, because
I am going to talk about thatafter the top of the hour news because
that's the direction I wanted to go. You just you're a minder. You
(01:29:40):
are. Thanks for calling in,Dwayne, you have a wonderful weekend,
my friend. Yeah, I swearthat's just that's that is wild. I
don't think that's ever happened before. And quite often people will call in and
I do have a subject or asource article for any subject matter people call
in or quite often have a sourcearticle for subject matters. But that's the
one I wanted to dive on into. So I hope you can stick around
for the top of that rais forthat and if you didn't get a chance
(01:30:01):
to listen Tech Fridday Dave Hatter isalways a worthwhile segment to listen to.
I mean at the tail end ofthe discussion. You can find the podcast
at fifty five cares dot com.Just a plea whether you use his company
intrust It, which sponsors that segmentbecause they're really good at what they do,
or some other company that does thesame services. You know, heed
(01:30:21):
his advice take this hacking stuff seriously. He mentioned a five step process that's
out there and he's going to havethe link on his site and we'll post
it up as well that if youjust took those steps, I think they
said you can avoid ninety ninety forninety five or whatever percent of the opportunity
for these people to get into yoursystem and literally shut it down. He
(01:30:44):
said he had a client coman theother day and he doesn't even know if
they're going to be able to stayin business. It was so bad.
They encrypted literally everything that that businesshad. It's a ransomware attack. So
you either pay off the ransomware oryou're done. And how easily they could
have been avoided with things like twofactor authentication and taken some pretty simple steps.
(01:31:06):
So never ever, ever ignore thisis just a growing problem. It's
just grown exponentially, and it seemsto do so every single day. It's
easy to do. They put artificialintelligence behind their efforts to steal from you
and enter your business in nefarious ways. So that's a segment that I just
strongly encourage people. If you can'tget up at six thirty, you're not
(01:31:27):
in kind of you know, doappointment listening. That's what fifty five KRC
dot com in the podcast page isall about. Definitely important. Check that
out. Seven fifty six stick around. Well, let you know what Congressman
Brad Winster has been up too,and how much time we wasted during the
COVID nineteen lockdowns stick around eight fivehere at fifty five KRCD talk station by
(01:31:50):
Tom's swishing in a very happy Fridayand hoping you have some wonderful things to
do this weekend, or maybe youhave absolutely nothing to do and that puts
a bigger smile on your face.Because sometimes I have nothing going on this
weekend. That makes you feel evenbetter if you got some events and things
to do, So regardless, Ihope it's a positive experience for you over
the weekend. I have to continuein on Monday for my friend Christopher Smitheman,
(01:32:13):
who I'm going to be having lunchwith today along with Westside Jim Keefer
and Joe Strecker and Laura and Jimcame up from Florida to kind of arranged
this whole thing, so we're lookinglooking forward to having some breaking some bread
with some friends today. And thanksto the last caller for seeing into the
future. He knew exactly what Iwas getting ready to talk about, which
I thought was rather amazing. Andthank you specifically to Congressman brad Winstrop and
(01:32:34):
he's we're fortunate to have him. While it lasts, looking into the background,
behind the Luhan Institute of Virology andthe COVID nineteen lockdowns at doctor Fauci
Sunanigans and they're coming to the conclusion. I think that many of us already
reached it. Yes, it wasbuilt in the Wuhan Institute of Virology with
(01:32:54):
money that we funded at the wuWuhan Institute Virology, which they've now admitted
that we did do gain of functionresearch in spite of the fact that Fauci
kept trying to avoid that topic andrephrase it and basically do an Orwellian renaming
of what exactly gain a function researchis so he wouldn't be held accountable.
Well accountable. More and more theyare, and a first point on this
(01:33:16):
as a consequence of they're looking intothis, we're not going to be funding
Echo Health Alliance anymore. We've cutoff fund. It was a non profit
that funneled government money to the WuhanInstitute of Virology where they created the bat
virus that was unleashed on the worldCOVID nineteen echohalth Awiance. Nonprofit quote did
(01:33:36):
not adequately monitor close quote compliance fromthe Wuhan Lab with the terms and conditions
of a grant from the US NationalInstitute of Health. That's where your money
came from. Well, it cameout of your pocket and your labor,
but it went over to the USNational Institute for Health, which is responsible
for dolling this money out. AndI'm sure that Echo Health Awiance had some
(01:33:57):
good friends at the US National Institutefor Health since they got lot of money
from them. Henrietta Brisbane, theDeputy Assistant and Secretary at the US Department
Health and Human Services, the NIHparent agency, you know so many lettered
agency you lose track of these, set a May fifteenth letter to Echo Health
(01:34:17):
President Peter Dazak that they didn't adequatelymonitor this. This has also found out
that the sub award to Wuhan lackedrequirements that would make the grant incompliance with
federal law and regulations. Quote.Given the issues regarding the management of eha's
grant awards and sub awards, Ihave determined that the immediate suspension of EHA,
(01:34:41):
that's Echo Health AWI, it's necessaryto protect the public interest. Icho
Health passed more than a million dollarsto the Wuhan Institute of Virology over the
years to study bat viruses, whichyielded a more virile in version of the
bat virus through this gain of functionresearch they were doing, which you probably
got a dose of because I knowI did, and it sucked. Congressman
(01:35:03):
Brad Weinstrip said in a statement.Echo Health facilitated gain of function rehearts and
research in Wuhan, China without properoversight, willingly violated multiple requirements of its
multi million dollar National Institutes of Healthgrant, and apparently made false statements to
the NIH. These actions are whollyabhorrent indefensible. It must be addressed with
(01:35:26):
swift action. Echohealth's immediate funding suspensionin the future debarment is not only a
victory for the US taxpayer, butalso for American national security and the safety
of citizens worldwide. Congressman winstrip Doctornoted that Echo Health blamed the delay in
all those they violated the terms oftheir grant. Specifically, US officials had
(01:35:49):
asked laboratory for laboratory notebooks and otherfiles regarding this testing back in twenty nineteen.
After these experiments yield a more virulentversion into the bat virus that wasn't
conveyed to the US government until twentytwenty one. They weren't even letting their
funders know what they were doing, which was a requirement under the GRAD.
(01:36:12):
So they asked for the notebooks andother files regarding the testing. Echo Health
officials say, ah, we don'thave them, and then forward the request
for the materials over to the WuhanLab. And the Wuhan Lab officials probably
laughed when they got it because theynever provided them to the people requesting them,
even though they were the recipients ultimatelyof the money that EcoHealth funneled to
them. So he pointed that hesaid, he noted the echo Health delay
(01:36:38):
on the providing the details in thisreport on being locked out of the NIH
system. That's what Eco Health said, but Forensic gought it by the government
uncovered absolutely no evidence supporting Echo Health'sclaimed that they were locked out. Echo
Health currently has three grants being fundedby the US National Institutes of Health,
including a grant to experiment on batwith antibodies against the NITA virus. AHHS
(01:37:09):
is suspending all funding though for EcoHealth and proposing a non probably debarred or
unable to receive funding for a periodof time that could be at least years
or even decades. How about neveragain fully once shame on you and for
me twice shame on me, particularlywhen it comes to well, one could
argue maybe it wasn't intentional, soyou can't call it necessarily murder, but
(01:37:33):
manslaughter of about six to eight millionpeople worldwide and pivoting over. How's that
six foot distancing working out for youafter all this time? Uh huh?
Thanks again to Commress from brad Winstrop. Newly released testimony from doctor Francis col
Collins or other former director of theNational Institute's for Health who helped lead America's
(01:37:57):
COVID nineteen pandemic response, suggested orat least acknowledge that there was lack of
scientific evidence for the six foot socialdistancing role. Wouldn't she ask Governor to
Wine if there was any scientific evidencebehind his no drinking after ten at Barr's
rule? Absolutely sphincter inspired on that. Just yesterday brad Winster of Congress from
(01:38:20):
Winsterrip, Doctor WINSTERP, chairman ofthe Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic,
released the transcript from doctor Collins, which took place on Capitol Hill in January.
In that interview, Collins was askedabout arrange of issues including the hypothesis
that the COVID nineteen pandemic was aresult of a lab leak or labrilated accident,
and the six foot social distancing rulethat was one of the hallmarks of
(01:38:42):
the epidemic eraic herbs on freedom ofmovement and assembly, that's the one that
kept you out of church, folks. One point of the interview, the
Committee Majority Council made reference to aJanuary interview with doctor Anthony Fauci, who
said the six foot distancing rule wasquote sort of just and was likely not
based on any data. Majority countsin the committee. We asked doctor Fauci
(01:39:11):
where the six feet came from, and he said it kind of just appeared
as the quote do you recall scienceor evidence that supported the six foot six
feet distance? Doctor Collins reply. You know what she says said, I
do not is that I do notrecall or do not see any evidence supporting
(01:39:33):
six feet. Doctor Collins responded,I did not see evidence, but I'm
not sure I would have been shownevidence at that point. The follow up,
well, since then, it hasbeen awfully an awfully large topic.
Have you seen any evidence since then? Supporting six feet? Doctor Collins response,
(01:39:56):
No, no scientific evidence, nosupporting data, no information. It
just sort of appeared. And I'mthinking back on this, and I know
you recalled as well, and thereis still evidence of this six foot nonsense
out of the world. You goto the grocery store and sometimes you'll still
(01:40:17):
see remnants of the blue lines theyput six feet apart where people was standing
six feet apart wearing, you know, nothing but a piece of cloth over
their face. And let me findout later that even those masks that they
insisted we wear don't do anything. There was a COVID nineteen aproaks spread.
(01:40:39):
In twenty twenty, CDC issued guidancedescribing social distance to include staying away from
congregant settings, church, avoid maskgathering, church maintaining, oh, I
should throw schools in there as well. I just kind of mentioned church in
there, because you know, wedo have the free exercise of religion in
(01:41:00):
this country, along with freedom ofspeech and freedoms of movement guaranteed by our
constitution. In the United States ofAmerica, which people shredded during COVID nineteen,
Maintaining a distance of at least threefeet was the guidance when possible.
CDC is now latest guidance Get aload of this. Updated April fourth of
this year. Latest guidance on Respiratoryvirus and Infection Prevention does include a section
(01:41:23):
on physical distancing, indicating that puttingphysical distance between oneself and others can help
lower the risk of spreading a respiratoryvirus. Quote, there is no single
number that defines a safe distance.Nice of them to acknowledge that, since
the spread of viruses can depend onmany factors. However, CDC's latest Guidance
(01:41:47):
for healthcare Settings, updated March ofthis year, makes several references to six
feet, even though there's no scientificdata behind it, recommending that dental facilities
with open floor plans one strategy preventspriaof for COVID nineteen is to ensure at
least six feet of space between patientchairs. Also defines close contact as being
within six feet for a cumulative totalof fifteen minutes or more over a twenty
(01:42:11):
four hour period with someone who hasCOVID nineteen infection. You know there's no
footnote on that. See this particularstudy. This particular study funded and shows
conclusively peer review that six feet isimportant. It matters, It means something.
You know, I can draw aparallel here to the carbon output.
You know, we cut our throat, breaking our backs, killing ourselves,
(01:42:33):
forcing our economy to deal with moreexpensive electricity. Green technology edicts mandates and
control, kind of analogous to COVIDnineteen edys mandates and control for something that
we have no control over because it'sout in the air. China produces lots
of coal particulate, including carbon. It floats around the globe and it gets
(01:42:53):
mixed up with our air. Samedamn thing with viruses. It floats around
a room boom. You can't makeit stay with within any given distance.
That's the nature of this particular virus. It's so microscopic, so small that
it kind of floats around. It'snot spittle, which would drop to the
ground that is required for you tocontract this disease. It's merely breathing it
(01:43:15):
in. We relied to over andover and over and over again. And
by the way, don't get adrink after ten o'clock because you'll get COVID.
You won't get COVID before ten o'clock. Though, thanks Governor DeWine,
I'll never forgive them for that stupidity. Looking forward to the next segment,
of course, because Ron Wilson willbe in the studio and I gotta ask
(01:43:35):
him about these pesky invasive honeysuckle we'vetalked about so much as local article,
and I bring that up again justto remind you. They're looking for volunteers
get in touch with the great parksof Hamilton County. I guess they're out
there all the time to clear thisnasty, nasty plague that we have in
terms of these invasive honeysuckle plants thatare taken over all the public parks,
(01:43:56):
and of course in a neighborhood nearyou, we got neighbors that never cut
there. We got rid of allof ours many years ago. And it's
not an easy task, but itcan be done. Cut it at the
base and nuke it with that.I guess it's glyphisate, the key ingredient
formerly key ingredient in roundup, butyou can still get glyphasa it. I
just bought some real hot concentration glyphisatedtractors supply the other day, two and
(01:44:17):
a half gallons. I think itwas like, I don't know, eighty
bucks. It's a concentrate. Youmix it up and that'll last a long
time. The last bottle that webought that size, I think lasted a
couple of years at least. Sonuke your bad stuff, and of course,
nuke the hell out of invasive honeysuckle. Let's get the pads on the
phone. Pat, thanks for holdingover the brake. Welcome on the program.
Happy Friday, Brian, Right backat you. Hey, you can
(01:44:42):
eliminate honeysuckle by digging it up allthe way by the roots, and that's
just so much fun. Oh yeah, I was just gonna say, oh
my god, you can imagine howlong it would take. It'd be like
five generations of mankind or humanity,if I may be so politically correct,
before get rid of it, ifwe had to do it that way,
like digging up poison ivy. Ifyou find the root and you find the
(01:45:05):
bottom of it, you'll get it. But you've got to find the bottom
and that's the problem. No,thank you. I've been listening to your
program for a long time, andthis was really the first time that I
could get through without being observed bythe eye in the sky. But a
long time ago I found out aboutMarxism. In third grade, we had
a book that talked about what Marxismdoes and how it creeps into and infects
(01:45:29):
and ruins the society. And inthe seventies I had a girlfriend that went
to a school that was just absolutelyin love with Marxism. So I read
the Manifesto and some of the crapby Ingles and some of these other insane
people, and I realized that thesepeople think they're smarter than everybody, but
they're really not. But they arezealous, and they will infect any angle
(01:45:54):
of society they can. And theyare actually parasites as you well know,
that will creep into anything they canto infect it to get their will.
And they are pretty much to aperson that I ever met, they have
a certain screw loose well. Theyare the epitome of I think something that
(01:46:15):
the Ten Commandments warns us about, the idea covetousness, greed, and envy.
They that's how they wage this warclass or fair, because it's not
fair that X guy has like abillion dollars and somebody over here is on
welfare only makes it like fifteen twentythousand dollars a year. That's just not
fair. There's something wrong with that. And they can wage that war and
they get away with it, becauseyou know, there's a certain appeal to
(01:46:38):
that. People I think, inherently, by their nature have a built in
tendency to, you know, lookout for their own best interest, and
when they see somebody who's got alot more, we tend to envy that
person or covet what they have, and because we know we can never achieve
it, we're like, oh,damn it, I'm never going to be
a multimillionaire. I'm never going toachieve anything. I'm always going to be
cut out of the system. Andthat guy, look at him, He's
(01:46:58):
got all that stuff. That's atthe root of Marxism. That's how that
evil creeps in and sets hold.Well, you said it evil. They
don't have a god, though theirgod is the evil that is them too,
because they didn't have the motivation thatsomebody in your family or you yourself.
You put in the hard work,It wasn't glorious, it didn't give
(01:47:18):
you the reward immediately. But theywant immediate gratification. And they are masters
of the end a round, andthey had the capacity, and they seem
to have the time to think aboutinsidious little ways to creep in and in
to infect good parts of society, well, no matter where you are.
And that's the part when I hearMarxist spouting their nonsense, I say,
(01:47:42):
you've got the wrong religion. Yes, And it's all for that nonsense because
they don't learn about how they started. And you know, just think if
Karl Marx had gotten a job witha newspaper, do you think he would
have written a manifesto? No,I see, that's what's sitting around the
march, sitting around around the bar, philosophizing with his friends. Yeah,
(01:48:04):
on somebody else's dime, of course. Well you hit the nail on the
head there. I'm glad you understandit, Pat, and I wish more
people did. It's a nefarious thing. And you know it's part of that
diversity. Equity, inclusion is Marxismbecause they equal the playing field. No
longer does merit matter, No longerdo better grades. A higher level of
(01:48:24):
understanding, a greater capacity for reasonand logic, and an ability to master
difficult subject matters. Now we throwall out of the door. You how
many people do you have that areof this particular color? Put him in
there? How many people? Imean, whatever happened to the best in
the brightest obtaining the better positions inthe name of making our society a better
place, because we damn well needthe best in the brightest working on things
(01:48:45):
like well artificial intelligence or computers orthank god I have a cell phone because
the world had to rely on BrianThomas for that technology, we wouldn't have
it. Appreciate the call my friendRon Wilson out of the garden end of
the studio and thank god for that. On a Friday, coming up next,
(01:49:20):
Hey thirty three on a Friday,Spring and fall on the fifty five
KR Morning Show at Parasee Morning Show. That means one thing, and I
love that one thing. That's RonWilson in studio to talk gardening as we
wind things down on a Friday andlighten things up. Welcome back, my
friend. It's always a pleasure.Had you on last Saturday. I came
downstairs, I got up a littleearlier than I normally do, and of
course, Paul, what had youon? I was trying to ease back
(01:49:44):
into getting up. You know,Oh you were off Monday and Tuesday.
Yeah, oh you had four dareOkay, I can't think I'd like to
sleep in when I'm off but youknow, if I sleep in like until
night, I can't do that.My sleep in at six o'clock that's when
the mic goes on. But I'msaying in general, my sleep in is
I can't go past that. Ohokay, I see, I don't care
(01:50:06):
what the situation is. I'm usuallyfarm clock never goes off on Saturday morning.
Yeah, normally it's like, uhgoes off because I never had one
two thirty week days and then usuallyon Saturdays, I will comfortably stay in
bed until like eight. Most ofthe time I'll wake up, but I'll
just like, oh my god,I'm off today, and I can roll
(01:50:29):
right back over and cover up.Oh the bed feels so good. I
can't do that. No, Iwas gonna no. No. By the
way, I just want to letyou know what this this studio was designed
so that all these microphones can beat one point, all six feet apart.
You serious? Are you so thatwe all look at us right now?
We got our six foot distancing goingon here? So just so yeah,
(01:50:53):
just so you know, you know, know that that's what was worked
into the design of this as well. Great, I'm sure that the future
it costed cost I had probably extramoney to do that. During that well,
actually, you know what, rightafter these studios open is when the
COVID thing hit. There was nobodyin here, no one, so it
was pretty interesting. They never fillthis place. It's a it's a it's
(01:51:14):
an empty people. Occasionally they do. Let's stop right now, it's already,
it's a thirty five. It's okay. Always like pushing one of your
buttons. I know, I fullyappreciate it. My pleasure. Work in
the garden sign a true friendship whenyou do that, because I always tell
my friends, you know, whenif I stop, you know, busting
your huevos and you got a problemwith you know, sums up? Amen,
brother. If a forty think aboutKR City Talk Station Brian Thomas with
(01:51:39):
Ron Wilson every Saturday, six am. When the mic goes on, that's
when you're gonna hear Ron Wilson's nationwidegardening program in the garden with Ron Wilson's
got great guests on everything. Iwas just telling you we were talking off
there, and I had mentioned itseveral times this morning, and I think
it's a great idea if you wantto get out in the woods, enjoy
the forest, bathing and also helpour local community in the and in Hamilton
(01:51:59):
County Park. They're looking for volunteersto get rid of that blank and honeysuckles.
It's a never ending thing and they'renot gonna get rid of all of
it, but it's as much asthey can reduce it and suppress it and
do everything they can. And it'sa lot to tackle, and so they're
looking they're always looking for volunteers tohelp do that. And they'll put organized
groups together and go out and clearout an area as best you can and
you know, hopefully keep it clearedout. That's the important thing. Once
(01:52:20):
they do clear it out. Well, that was one of the points in
the article. I think I giveyou do a fox nineteen or do the
CPO credit for it. Anyway,I saw it this morning. They said
they go in, they go intothe forest deep and work their way outward,
but that they will have to continueto go back there because there's so
many of the seeds that are inthere. I mean, it's just like
a never ending saga. That's ifyou keep them really low and control it
(01:52:42):
once they're once the big ones arecut down, maybe to beat a little
bit easier it's easier to spray becauseyou can go in there. Then in
the spray that literally spray, I'mwith a non selective vegetation killer and take
them out. So that's the wholepoint. You get the big ones,
if you have the small ones, you get rid of them. There's a
guy in Hamilton then actually develop thehoneysuckle popper fifteen years ago maybe, and
it's his wedge that you put underneaththe center of the honeysuckle and it wedges
(01:53:05):
down. It's a real long handleand it pops. Remember that Pat him
on the show when he first developedit, and it was expensive and he
had a hard time selling them becausenot everybody had honeysuckle. But then he
got it where he put it intool rentals, so you could rent this
thing, but you shove it underneaththere, and then it's a pride bar
right and you would pop them rightout of the ground. Well, the
(01:53:25):
smaller ones you could do that with, everything would just pop out. But
the bigger they get, the harderthat is to do. So the whole
goal is that if that's the point, they'll either come in and fall when
all the rest of the leaves aregone. But that still has leaves.
You can spray it at that timewith a heavy concentration of a non selective
vegetation killer and do a pretty goodnumber on it for next spring. But
(01:53:45):
then you come back and make sureyou follow up if any suckers come up.
But if you can't do that, cut them off at the ground,
flush as you can to the ground, and immediately, and I'm talking as
soon as you're done cutting, comeback and top dress that with a weed
killer, brush killer, non selectivevegetation killer on top of the fresh cuts,
because that'll seal itself back over likea Christmas tree within two or three
(01:54:09):
hours. It actually seals over andbecomes impermeable to that stuff. So they
yeah, so they get right backon it as quick as they can.
That helps us stop it from suckeringback up. But if it does come
back up, and it can, then you go back in. It's very
easy to spot treat because you getit, catch them while they're smoking,
and you can spot treat and basicallynow you're starving the roofs to death.
But you know, you look atthat thing, and you and I are
(01:54:30):
talking about during the break, howit's hard to convince people to get rid
of it. Yeah, why becauseit's a free plant. It screens me
and my neighbors. It grows intototal shade. It's got a white flowers,
beautiful in the springtime, great redberries which all the birds eat,
which has little protein in it,which is deceiving. Sure, and they
drop those seeds everywhere. But youknow it has all these white flowers.
(01:54:51):
Great, it's it's a leaf fromthe very beginning of the season to the
very end of the season. Sowhy do I want to get rid of
it? Well, look around,it's the only plant that's growing anymore in
the floor of any of the woodedareas or non maintained areas if the pears
haven't already taken over that. Sothat's why you want to get rid of
it. And it's hard to convincepeople sometimes of doing that. But again,
(01:55:12):
it's going to be a never endingbattle. We just try to suppress
it as much as we can.But that's one way they do it.
Cut it off and then you know, treat that stomping and go from there.
But again, a lot of theseplaces have volunteers where they'll put a
group together and try to clear outan area spin a day. And just
get it all out of there. There was actually some research done at the
University of Dayton that showed that insome instances where this was really heavy on
(01:55:35):
creek beds that the leaves and allthat fell into the water actually affected some
of the aquatic light and the creeksas well or yeah, which was kind
of interesting. So, you know, it's to crete something that nothing else
can grow around, besides bigger trees. If you look, there's nothing else
growing. It stops everything from growing. That's the problem. So it ruins
the natural the forest base or whereverit's growing. Nothing else is allowed to
(01:55:59):
grow there. And that's another majorreason why we don't want it. It's
just it's wiping out our native plants. Briefly though, I mean, if
you know, people are, oh, I'll just keep mine. It's just
one in my yard, and I'mnot gonna let it expand anything but with
six thousand seeds, and the birdswill eat it that and drop it somewhere
else, somewhere else, So getrid of it for the sake of humanity.
Yes' toof k see detalk station. It's Friday loses seeds. Yes,
(01:56:49):
indeed, thanks in advance before weclose the show out for Danny Gleason covering
for Just Trekker this weekend. Lookingforward to having Joe back. But nice
orango kid. He does a goodjob. He Dan's very good. I
feel lucky that I got Danny assignedto my good hands. I am you're
good hands with both of them,Joe and Dan. Oh wow, go
hand. They go hand in hand. Danny understands, he knows we have
(01:57:15):
a special place in our heart forDue Strecker. So oh, I'm glad
his pain has gone in his legs. That's what he had, the back
surgery. One of them. Hesays, Stop, Rod, I did
I stopped? I stopped. Istopped. He's laughing. If he's he
(01:57:36):
can take a joke, you candish it out too. A couple of
things. I just want to remindpeople when you have problems something that you
don't recognize on your trees and shrubsor whatever it may be. Uh.
And we talk about this Brian allthe time, But I just want to
keep reminding folks don't go grab somethingoff the shelf and try to spray for
it. In many cases it's somethingyou can't spray for. In many cases,
it's something that's too late to sprayfor it. In some case you
(01:57:57):
don't need to spray for it,and in most case he says you've used
the wrong whatever you're trying to sprayfor it, just just spray for it.
Scale right now is big time ona lot of trees and shrubs,
and then a lot of the scalesthat are out. There's many different types.
The best time to go after himwas when those babies are hatching out
from underneath us and some of thosewell up. The scale is a bug,
right, it's an insect covered upby covered up by a little shell
(01:58:19):
on the top scale. I mean, don'tsin with a bug. But it's
soft scale, hard shell scale. But you attack each type of scale differently,
so you have to recognize what itis and then how to take care
of it. And it takes itusually takes a while to suppress scale and
get get rid of it. Butdon't just crab stuff and start spraying.
(01:58:40):
Find out. Let somebody go toyour local independent garden center. Try to
identify which one it is, whatstage we're in, and when's the best
time to go after the crawlers. When's the best time to play a systemic?
Can you use a Dorman oil thattype of thing and walk you through
the process. So we're seeing alot of scale out there right now.
Don't panic, find out what itis, and then learn how to take
care of it. In many cases, if it's only on a couple of
(01:59:00):
branches, you put out the branchesthat it's on, throw those away,
and you pretty well taken care ofit at that point. So you know,
there are many ways to look atthat. So again, get it
identified first. Real QUI how doesit end up on a tree? They
don't look mobile, you know whatI mean? A lot of times they'll
get just moved through the air andthen wind up landing on their branch.
(01:59:23):
Whatever may be. It cost mecraps. That's it, all right,
And some plants are more successful toscale than others. But you'll see it
on a lot of different plants.Again, it is getting it identified.
Slug damage the same way, gettingidentified and figure out how to take care
of the slugs. This week Ihad somebody called in and said, you
know, I got partially we planted, and I've got this caterpillars on it
that are just destroying my partially.Right now, what do I spray it
(01:59:44):
with? Well, twofold one isgive me a picture of the of the
caterpillar so I can see what itis. Secondly, if you see three
or four caterpillars and they're eating allyour leaves, you can just hand pick
them off in a quick smash.I don't know many caterpillars that are resistant
to that, and it really doeswork without using any sprays. But here's
the situation. That caterpillar happened tobe a black swallowtail butterfly, which love
(02:00:06):
parsley, so we don't want todo anything to then we want to allow
them to go ahead and jimmy eatthe partially it don't come back. It's
no big deal. Plant some moreparsley. That's a cool thing about planting
parsley and fennel and some of thoseother herbs is that you're like a lot
of the butterflies. Caterpillars absolutely lovethem. So in that case, we
(02:00:28):
let, you know, don't doanything to them, let them go,
don't spray, don't do anything, but you know, find out what it
is first whether you need to spray, and then look at something that's you
know, more environmentally friendly. Andagain the old hosing them off stomping on
them, smashing them with your hands, rubbing them off scale. A lot
of times, if it's a lightinfestation, you could rub them off of
there with the sponge that has therough side on it. Just rub them
(02:00:51):
off of there, hose it offand it's a done deal. So there
are a lot of ways to attackit, but you need to know what
it is first, positive identification, and then take it from there and usually
open independent garden centers, local extensionoffices, places like that. Find out
what it is and then and thengo from there. Don't just grab something
off the shelf. Well. Andyou know, nice thing is that the
internet, as much as I amstarting to hate it more and more,
(02:01:14):
if we know the right sources exactly. And that's the kicker. You know,
you go on the Internet, andyou know what we always kid from
the Internet. It's got to befor real, got to be the truth.
I use the Internet. You usethe Internet for research, but I
know the Internet sites that are researchbased, brother, that I can go
to and get the right information. You can find all kinds of stuff out
there on TikTok and Facebook and allthe rest stuff that people voice their opinions.
(02:01:36):
I know, you know, andthat's and some of the stuff I
hear sometimes you're just like, whatthe hell, where did that come from?
Never heard of that one before. But I know the research based sites
to go to and learn for informationsout there, So again, be very
cautious about that. And my daughter, who you know, has a horticulture
degree and a plant genetics degree fromLSU, but she has an app.
(02:01:58):
She used it to identify any ofthe species plant. You take a picture
of it and immediately figure out whatit is. Oh, that's a so
and so, that's this, andno it's not that it's something else.
I mean, even shield use somethinglike that. I do. We use
plant apps all the time to identifythere several of them out there. They're
do a great job because we don'tknow everything, know all the weeds that
come in there sometimes and you know, I can't figure it out. So
(02:02:19):
you use that plant app and atleast they give you some options, like
I can't figure is I can't figureout if that is intentionally there or that's
a weed that's growing that's what alwayscomes in popped up? Is it intentional?
I leave it there? It's somethingout that you really want to here's
the kicker. You can always usuallytell when it starts a flower, it
(02:02:39):
really sets it apart. But younever want to let them flower and set
seed. So as soon as theywould start the flower and to identify it,
then take the flower off in caseit is a weed. But that's
one of the best ways that alot of times we can't identify a particular
weed, we can buy the seedor the flowerhead. Tune in tomorrow here
at fifty five KRSE Detalk station sixam or Ron Wilson. Thank you,
