to you. Stick around all Morgan if you can. It's Thursday,
so it's seven o five. The return of Congressman Warren Davidson.
Got yet another ICE shooting going on. This time it
was an illegal immigrant who was shot. I don't know
(00:52):
if that's the one of the martyrs that the ICE
anti ICE protesters are clamoring for. It's amazing how they
they'll take their martyrs as they get them. Of Course,
George Floyd wasn't the innocent person that they all claimed.
He would be kind of ruins the narrative, but they'll
go out there and scream it all day long, nonetheless
and try to convince you that, yeah, he was a
really great guy and wasn't doing anything wrong. Of course,
(01:12):
got this most recent well ICE shooting involving that woman
who tried to run over an ICE officer and Further
reports indicate, at least from some the ice officer actually
ended up with the internal bleeding. It reported various places.
I'm not going to hang my hat on that, but
everyone can draw their own conclusions on whether the shooting
was justified or that. Just don't run into law enforcement.
(01:35):
Don't interfere with law enforcement officers, and they're entitled to
do that. We'll get to that in just a second,
because sin Sinant's council just chimed in on that yesterday,
another pointless gesture, I might interject anyway, Congressman Davidson on that,
and will the government shut down? On January thirtieth, I
didn't congress some mess you say yesterday He was kind
of hoping it would congress some messa in the program
(01:55):
yesterday fell by Judge Napolitano, including Americans for Prosperity, Donovan
O'Neill calling out the hypocrisy on Democrats, affordability, rhetoric, and
the Big Picture with Jack Avanan yesterday the podcast all
right there, fifty five cars dot Com will encourage you

(02:17):
Live or on podcast forms. So the podcasts are right there.
What else is coming up? Seven thirty? Come on, please judge.
I don't know, Lady leadink a Locker should be in
studio running for yet another term this year. Of course,
Dank Locker a wonderful judge. We need to keep them.
And you know, the judicial races are so damn important.
Scream all day along about law enforcement. If you don't
have judges that are willing to uphold the law and
(02:39):
hold criminals accountable for their guilt, then you've got a
system that's just not going to work. I heard media
aviation expert Jay Rattle of great topics with Jay today,
typically the case. I just hope you enjoy hearing from
Jay as much as I enjoy talking to them, and
I of course enjoy talking with you. Comment. Feel free
call me up five one, three, seven, four, nine, fifty,
(02:59):
five undred, eight hundred and eighty two to three talk
or pound five fifty on AT and T phone. Yeah,
we got a resolution. We know what resolutions are like.
Out of the City of Cincinnati yesterday they passed a
resolution urging see not a demand or it's something that
can be enforced. But urging federal law enforcement officers in
Cincinnati to comply with city policy starts by denouncing the
(03:24):
shooting of Renee Good. That would be the woman who
ran into an ICE officer trying to conduct well enforced law,
plain and simple, shot and killed, of course, by an
ICE officer in Minneapolis last week, leading to a bunch
of protests fomented by a bunch of left wing organizations
who really aren't interested in ICE generally speaking, they're disinterested
(03:45):
in folmenting anger among people who are easily manipulated. More
on that in the moment. According to council Member Anna,
I'll be co sponsor of this resolution. We do not
want masked agents terrorizing our neighborhoods and pulling residents out
of their cars. Thanks Joe. I appreciate that if there
(04:10):
are violent criminals ICE is apprehending, then we expect them
to do so safely and professionally, because that is not
what we saw in Minneapolis last week when ICE agent
shot and kill Renae Good. We should all be horrified
by what happened and what we witnessed in that video. Really, well,
miss Albi, there are violent criminals that ICE is apprehending.
(04:31):
ICE was in the process of doing their job, endeavoring
to apprehend violent criminals, and then this good lady decided
she was going to drive her car in the middle
of it and stop them from doing their job. So
we're once removed from the violent criminals that we all
want to get off the streets. And the list of
those violent criminals is absolutely bile inspiring in the back
of your throat when you read about some of the
(04:53):
folks that they have picked up who were subject to
deportation orders who should have been injected from our country
as many as twenty as many as fifteen, twenty years ago.
They're raping children for example. Oh, there you go. These
are the people that they are actually ultimately defending. It's
a real small stippet here. We've got a Lawaosia Laotian
(05:17):
convicted a strong arm sodomy of a boy, strong armsodomy
of a girl already had a deportation order around since
twenty eighteen. Alaosian alleged illegal alien or illegal alien actually
illegal convicted convicted sexual assault, sodomy of a girl under
the age of thirteen and procuring a child for prostitution.
There has been a subject to a deportation order since
(05:37):
two thousand and six. This list is seemingly endless. I
could go on for the rest of the segment still
and not get through that type of horrific crime convicted
and already subject to deportation orders that the various sanctuary
states and cities like Minneapolis will release in spite of
the fact there's a detention order the release amount of
(05:58):
the public. Anyway, when it comes to ensuring ICE agents
follow city policies, councilmen albe said there is little since
they can do in terms of enforcement, no kidding. Why
might that be. Neither the Constitution nor any statute provides
(06:19):
cities and states any authority over immigration matters, rendering sanctuary
city policies legallyffeckless. They exist only because some officials are
willing to exploit the presence of illegal aliens for political gain.
Quote from the Wall Street Journal. Looking at this these
boiled down constitutional analysis accord to the Constitutional supremacy cause
read it yourself. Article six Clause two forecloses mayors and
(06:45):
other exploiters from directing how Ice and any other federal
enforcement officials perform their duties. Quote from Chief Justice John
Marshall in the case eighteen nineteen mccullo versus Maryland quote,
the States have no power to retard, imped burden, or
in any manner control the operations vested in the general government.
(07:09):
So in so far as this resolution is concerned, now,
I have no problem with the resolution urging that the
ICE agents wear cameras. I like the idea of cameras
because in the vast majority of cases, the cameras prove
that the ICE agent or other police agency was in
the right, and of course if it confirms they were
in the wrong, we've got that evidence. Because we don't
(07:30):
want bad people doing bad things wearing uniform. So the
cameras help everybody. Vice Mayor Ja Michelle Kearney calling ICE
an illegal entity. She said the city isn't just asking
ICE to follow local policies. In her words, we demanded
(07:52):
I'm going back to the Supreme Court case saying, sorry, ma'am,
you have no authority, legal or otherwise to do that demand.
All day long, your demands carry no weight. But God's
provide good posturing. Our local law enforcement protects our citizens. Well,
at least she kept it to citizens. That's interesting words
she used. Because illegal immigrants are not citizens. It's an
(08:15):
interesting start off to her comment. Anyway, Ms Kearny, our
local law enforcement protects our citizens. They do not work
with illegal entities. Referring back again, I guess veiled to ICE.
I asked our Immigration and Law Center and other attorneys
who did immigration law. Did the rules change? I was
told the rules have not change. A warrant signed by
(08:36):
a judge still require before ICE center someone's own, for example.
But they are not following the rules. What they are
doing is totally illegal and we will not stand for
it here in Cincinnati. Well, when do they break the
rules in Cincinnati? Remember reading about that? I don't Scottie Johnson,
President PO TAM counselan calling what happened in Minneapolis unacceptable,
(08:59):
noting though that the alcohol, tobacco, on firearms, FBI and
DEA here in Cincinnati quote have always to this point
conducted themselves, conducted themselves professionally. Hery, So that seems in
the gate a little bit of what Vice Mayor was
suggesting that they're regularly without warrants kicking indoors. Since I
(09:27):
pleased not assisting ICE. Not clear currently what the scope
of the ICE operations look like here in the city.
We don't know. I haven't read many reports about the
number of the city since any being overwhelmed by illegal immigrants,
although some of my listeners have suggested that we have been.
I don't know. I haven't noticed any, for example, like
Somali type communities popping up. But then again, I'm not
(09:47):
driving around the greater Cincinnati area in the dry state
a whole lot for me to see anything firsthand. That's
why I rely on other people to let me know
about this kind of thing, because again, I haven't read
anything about in the local news. That's some ofmber Mark
Jeffrey said. It's very fair that when ICE is in
Cincinnati day play by the rules, so prove of the
(10:08):
resolution doesn't mean anything. They don't have any control over
how ICE conducts their affairs. They cannot control the operations
and they cannot burden the operations. So this is, as
is typically the case with city council resolutions, much ado
about nothing in a bunch of political posturing. A big
old what Joe, I know what that is. Abbreviation is
(10:33):
meant a circular pleasure fest, is what you're suggesting. This
whole exercises, Joe, Is that is that what you meant
by those those words? Gotcha? Five one three seven night
two three Talk FO five fifty on AT and T funds.
Does this make them useful idiots? They be able to
(10:54):
answer that question here in a moment. Don't go away,
be right back. This is fifty five KARC and iHeartRadio
Station five twenty on a Thursday, Happy one to you
five on three seven eight two three top Care to
call in comment, love to hear from me. Otherwise I
mentioned the useful idiots and city council maybe a bunch
of useful idiots with this resolution demanding that ICE comply
(11:16):
with how what our local law enforcement have to do?
For example, one of the things the body cameras I did.
I do recall reading the other day that federal fund
at least that there's been an offer, I believe by
the Republicans to provide ICE with with body cameras. I
love the idea absolutely. I mean, was the body camera
(11:38):
footage actually? Was I believe the cell phone footage of
the guy who was standing in front of the car,
the car that this good woman used as a uh well,
a potential weapon to commit murder. By running into him anyway,
that reflected that g in fact did hit him. So
it's a nice thing to have that. And again going
back to what I've heard typically is all of the
(11:59):
allegations and police brutality and the like have been negated
by the fact that officers, at least locally have been
wearing body cameras. So bully for that. No problem with
the concept, but you can't force them to do it.
You don't have the legal authority to do it. But
all this springs from me and I go back to
the horrific list of criminals that the ICE agents have
been picking up, and good news for America that these
(12:19):
people are no longer on the streets. And when you
read about the people who they have picked up and
who they are deporting and who they are bringing to justice,
it is just horrific that any human being would be
out there advocating for them. Oh, but they're not advocating
for them. They're advocating for that poor woman who's been
(12:39):
here for fifteen years or so and it's been a
model citizen. They always find somebody out there in the
world to make it look like the ICE agents are
in a coordinated operation remove these poor women who have
participated in society from society, when in fact, no, they're
going after really bad people. Over to Andrew Tchirkanski and
Katie it's Caski, both military veterans, former prosecutors, and current
(13:03):
criminal defense attorneys. Op ed peace New York Post, which
is rather lightning and it sees right through the problem here.
The chaos erupting in Minneapolis is not an organic protest
movement and certainly isn't spontaneous. It's coordinated, it's calculated, and
it's deadly and oddly enough, Joe pointed this out to me,
(13:24):
and I have observed it. Joe, there's a predominantly more
senior leaning, like baby boomer women crowd among these protesters,
white baby boom age women. Go ahead and scan the crowd.
See for yourself, anyway, not one hundred percent. But moving
back over to the op ed, ordinary Americans are being
(13:44):
played manipulating the dangerous confrontations by politicians and rebel rousing activists.
The indoctrination has convinced them that federal immigration law is illegitimate, wrong,
and that US Immigration Customs agents have no alorady to operate,
and that physically confronting federal officers is not only justified
(14:04):
but moral. It's a weaponized form of Trump arrangement syndrome,
and federal prosecutors should call it what it is, criminal conspiracy,
something I've been mentioning for quite some time. After federal
courts in September of held ICE's authority to make detentive stops,
the opposition didn't accept the ruling. What's followed in Minneapolis
(14:26):
and elsewhere no longer looks like civil disobedience, but like
concerted efforts to obstruct federal law enforcement through misinformation, agitation,
and street level interference. Every bloody confrontation is the foreseeable
result of deliberate insurrection or instruction, rather and escalation something
(14:47):
else I've observed. They want the martyr. They want the
quote unquote innocent civility to be harmed during these activities
so they can hold them out and hold them up
as a martyr. The activist infrastructure behind this effort matters.
Local leaders like Governor Tim Wallas and Mayor Jacob Fry
didn't merely criticize President Donald Trump's policies. They systematically delegitimized
(15:10):
federal authority by portraying ICE's lawful acts as an invasion,
knowing full well that federal immigration enforcement is the exclusive,
constitutional and mandatory. Of course, the point I meant when
that I pointed out earlier, when I boiled down this
of the state of the law here in the United States.
States have no power to retard, burden, or imped demander
and control the operations vested in the general government. Their
(15:36):
statements the governors and the mayors ran parallel with activist messaging,
reinforcing the same false claims and producing predictable, dangerous results.
Ice Watch it's kind of a collective of people watching
ice operations run through nonprofits and allied groups and organized alerts.
Neighborhood monitoring and coordinated resistance group Into Visible Twin Cities,
(16:01):
which has financial ties with leftist billionaire George Soros, is
part of the ice watch effort in Minneapolis. According to
New York Post, so so is another one Defend the six' one,

It turns out that rule is still an effect under federal.

Speaker 5 (20:39):
Liam, yeah good. Morning so the other burning topic today
this this, WEEK i guess apparently there was a hearing
in The senate recently where a particular alleged expert witness
was asked at least, twice can a man get?
Speaker 3 (20:57):
Pregnant?
Speaker 5 (20:59):
Yeah you, know it is funny kind of on some,
level but on another level it's it's it's kind of scary,
BECAUSE i, mean you're supposed to be a medical professional
and you can't answer a simple. Question the obvious answer is,
no a man can't get. Pregnant but the problem they run,
into and this is stating the. OBVIOUS i know that
(21:20):
we've talked about this. Before for someone on the left
to say, no a man can't get. Pregnant they're basically,
saying if any women who claim to be, MEN i
can't validate that you're a man because you can get,
pregnant but men can't get. Pregnant, right that's the problem
they're running. Into that's so that's why they don't want
to answer the.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
Question it's a.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
Stone cold hard fact yes to the can men get
can magnet get? Pregnant where's the fetus gonna? Gestate you
got to keep it in a?
Speaker 5 (21:53):
Box, Right and kudos to The republicans who are asking
the the obvious question to basically call out the absurdity
of this, argument and it is it's. Absurd you're you're
you're either a man or a. Woman you're not. One
you know you can't change to the. Other you know you.

that you. Look don't try to get me to acknowledge
that you are something that you're. Not it's not going to.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
Happen well you, are, okay What i'll even go in
so far as to, say, well let them believe in
the lie and if they want to go through life
and it gives them some measure of comfort saying my
declaration THAT i born a, man am now a. Woman
we're going to have weird people in our world interacting
with them every single. DAY i can live in a
world where there's somebody next door that actually believes. That
(22:51):
just don't tell. Me i've got to believe that you're, right.
RIGHT i think any counseling.
Speaker 5 (22:58):
And refer to them as weird is where the problem
comes in for, them that that they want to normalize
this stuff they and and like you, said get you
to acknowledge. It i'm not acknowledging.
Speaker 3 (23:09):
It you're a.
Speaker 5 (23:10):
Female you're a.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
Female what you're, SAYING i believe you believe in what you're, saying,
right but what your belief system is is something that
flies in the face of the biological reality of THE
x AND y and THE x and THE x chromosomal,
differences as well as the fact of whether or not
you have a twig in. Berries you. KNOW i, mean
these are, simple boiled, down, documentable OBJECTIVE uh determinations on

(24:00):
i don't know how you're pulling, off but you're convincing

people need to wake up and stop believing these bs
lies and please, people don't Vote. Democrat have a great, Day, BRI.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
I do the, same. DON'T i don't know that they
necessarily believe. That it's they're unwilling to say something out
loud like you AND i just, did which is. No
we are firm in our conviction that your chromosomal reality
and your, bile your sexual bits really kind of confirm
whether you're a man or a. Woman that's. It people
(24:37):
will capitulate in the face of anger and. Screaming they
won't stand up for something so simple as. That that's the,
problem and everybody's looking for a group to join into
and a place to feel welcome and. Needed and oh my,
god you, Know i'm if you're plagued with this whole idea,
that oh my, GOD i have privilege Because i'm, white
(24:57):
and THEREFORE i need to throw myself on the on
the sort of guilt and capitulate to these nonsensical. Arguments
you're part of the. Problem that's a victory for. Them
don't participate in what they're saying at, minimum or reject
with logic and reason what they. Claim you need to believe.

into a stack of stupid story here just on the
heels of my conversation With tom and the general conversation
about this whole idea of man women, Again men have
(26:04):
babies and stuff that's. Bizarre it's sex versus, sexuality and
this is the kind of thing that bothers me all the.
Times here's a thought exercise. Sex presumably When todd and
nine came into places biologic seg it was done to
help women get equal access to facilities and teams and.
Everything you can only have just men's. Teams you need
(26:27):
to have women. Too that will be discrimination against women
if you don't offer the same things for. Women of,
course this brings about this craziness once we decide to
move away from what is a man and what is a,
woman and it devolves into this WHOLE lgbtq plus a letter.
Salad now let us review lesbian got that women who
appreciate the comfort of women gay men who appreciate the
(26:49):
comfort of, men by that would be a person who
doesn't mind who they're, with man or. Woman that is
a sexual. Preference what you do behind closed doors doesn't bother.
Me a don't. Care that's your. Issue you can be,
that but that does not suggest in any of those
particular cases that someone has decided they are a different.
Sex once you get to, tea then you're a Different
(27:10):
you're claiming you're a different. Sex. Biologically you may be a,
man but you believe to be a. Woman you claim
to be a. Woman does that define your? Sexuality? No
IF i decided, today and let's say legitimately so THAT
i BELIEVE i am a, woman BUT i prefer the
comfort of, women wouldn't that make me a? Lesbian if
(27:37):
you have to take me at my word THAT i
am a woman after having stated, that but my sexual
preferences still lean toward. Women that's the kind of thing
you gotta worry about in the, bathroom isn't. It because
not all transgender, women they will be men believing they're.
WOMEN i can imagine not all of them have a
(27:58):
specific sexual preference for. Men so it's the whole sexual
conduct thing that's got a lot of parents all wigged,
Out Like Christopher smithman talking about his or his eleven
year old daughter or snow she's, sixteen seventeen years, old now,
whatever being in a bathroom with a, Guy does that
guy have sexual proclivities that lean toward a pre adult
(28:20):
girl in the. Bathroom that's a damn good, possibility isn't,
it especially since there's no psychological testing or testing done
to determine what their sexual proclivities. Are so you're putting
women in legitimate, women biological women all more properly state
in a bathroom situation where they're naked and showering and all,
that and you're letting a guy in junk hanging out
(28:42):
all over the place may think he's a, woman but
might still be sexually after any of the OTHER i
will focus particularly on young people in the. Bathroom that's
just one element of. It of, course that moves away
from the whole idea that men overall and generally, speaking
participate in a higher level competitively than, women and that's
(29:02):
what the sports argument's all. About, yeah just brush backtiven
ear that a little bit and use it as a thought.

this Wife, mita On. Facebook after getting to know each
other and establishing a romantic online, relationship they decided to
meet in real life went out for. Coffee muh thirty
one claims nothing About meta's appearance and voice felt. SUSPICIOUS
(30:31):
i guess he overlooked The Adams. Apple joe said she
looked beautiful and, graceful which made him fall in love
with her. Instantly he was staying up at night thinking about,
her and after a few weeks of dating, ONLINE i
guess Called meta up and asked her to marry.
Speaker 7 (30:48):
It idiots doing idiot things because they're.
Speaker 1 (30:51):
Idiots, Yeah ma told this, GUY i miss. You let's get.
Married uh told his family about the plans to get,
married and he and his parents visited meet his house
to deliver the, dowry which is apparently customary there twenty
million rupee fourteen hundred and thirty bucks considered a handsome.
Dowry of the morning of twenty, Second ma And meta
(31:12):
showed up of the office Of Religious affairs in the
whatever district doesn't matter to get it. Married even though
the twenty five year old had most of her face,
covered no one thought she looked suspicious her face, covered
this traditional thing for a. Bride there their wedding attended
by religious leaders from around the, region none of which
had any suspicion. Either according to the, article things started
going south for the newly led couple when m endeavored
(31:36):
to consummate the marriage on the wedding night got turned.
Down says he didn't think too much about, that thinking
there was always the following night and everyone after. That
but same thing happened again after the second time he,
tried and then he began to suspect something was. Wrong
do you? Think so after night three passed without anything going,
(31:56):
on he started doing some, investigating asking around about his,
wife and then became shocked to learn That mita was
actually a.
Speaker 5 (32:04):
Man.
Speaker 1 (32:05):
Man he, said, well that made sense since she had
refused to engage in any merit to relations with him
for the three nights after they got. MARRIED i get
the impression they didn't get down That rojo not clear
how me to found out her new husband had learned
about her true, gender but When ma came home to confront,
(32:25):
her she had already. Left he was. Mad he told
his family the truth and immediately divorced his quote unquote.
Wife feeling cheated by the person he thought was his,
soulmate he notified police about the, deception accused her of
being a. Fraud police found an arrest. Argue police found
and arrest of the twenty five year, old who was
(32:47):
in fact a man named add unclear if he's going
to be facing charges or what punishment did he stands to?
Receive says, interesting my. Meat his marriage broke the record
for the shortest union ever recorded In Indonesia's West lombac.
Region for those keeping, TRACK i do not believe The
Aguinness World World book Of records has a record keeping
(33:10):
award for that particular region of the. World, ANYWAY i
guess it's a good thing to check early on about these.
Things thought five fifty five fifty five K rc Talk,
(33:30):
Stacy does the world need to be this? Complicated? Plenny
to talk about the six o'clock? Hour to enjoy hearing from,
you please feel free to call five one, three seven
four nine fifty five, hundred eight hundred and eighty two
three talk or found five fifty on at AND t
found sp right. Back today's tough headlines coming, now not
a big deal for, ME i can you know it's
gonna be, boring it's gonna be a, pain all that
(33:51):
that goes along with. It but you know What i'm
getting treated to like to point that, out and given
the type of CANCER i, have you, know low probability
that it is going to take my. Life at Least
i'm trusting my doctors at that following their, ADVICE i
got five years worth of remission from the last. Treatments
i'm very pleased about. THAT a lot to be pleased.
About it's just the whole idea of having to go
through this process. Again but you, know six months will
(34:13):
be over in no. Time But i'm bringing up because you,
know there was an interesting article AND i was so
sorry to see. That Scott. Adams you remember His dilbert
CARTOON i hope you, do because he was. Brilliant he
died at sixty eight years, old just On, tuesday and
the editorial board of the journal just provided a measure
(34:35):
of optimism and also supports the point THAT i wanted
to make on this and Why i'm diving into the.
Topic get ahead of. It that little thing that you're
not going to the doctor all about may very well
be something much. Bigger they were A dilbert. Cartoonists Scott
adams died On tuesday at the age of sixty eight
after battling an aggressive form of prostate. Cancer it's a,
tragedy as every death, is but a note of hope
(35:00):
Mid the sadness is that the odds of surviving advanced
cancers are fast improving thanks to new. Treatments this is
SOMETHING i learned from my cancer. Doctors An American Cancer society
report Out tuesday finds that the five years survival rate
hit a milestone of the seventy percent for all cancers
diagnosed between twenty fifteen and twenty twenty. One survival increased
(35:22):
to sixty nine percent from fifty four just two decades.
Earlier for what they call regional cancers that have spread
beyond the primary, tumor up to thirty five percent survival
from seventeen percent for metastatic cancers that have spread elsewhere
in the. Body that's remarkable progress over twenty. Years the
report notes people with high mortality cancers and advanced diagnoses
(35:45):
have the largest, gains including increases from thirty two to
sixty two percent for MY, looma from seven to twenty
two percent for liver, cancer from sixteen to thirty five
percent for metastatic melanoma from eight to eighteen from metastatic rectal,
cancer from twenty percent to thirty seven percent for regional lung,
(36:08):
cancer and from a low of two percent to ten
percent for metastatic lung. Cancer so, yeah ten percent survival,
rate not, huge but up from two percent and going
in the right. Direction all of these treatments and these
new protocols and these new ways of treating cancer have
just dramatically increased your survivability. Rate the overall cancer mortality
(36:31):
rate also ticked down by one and a half percent
and twenty twenty three from the prior, year despite increasing
incidents of some harder to treat cancers like pancreatic and.
Kidney pancreatic, cancer they, write is, pernicious but five years'
survival has increased threefold since the nineteen nineties thirteen, percent
(36:51):
still again not high but, higher which report attributes to
more cancers being, detected incidentally at earlier stages when they
are easier to. Treat emphasizing my point five year survival
forty four percent for localized pancredic cancer versus three for.
Metastatic you don't want it to metastasize that pesky thing
(37:13):
that's bothering, you like for, example who knew that my
night sweats worked with a result of. CANCER i. Didn't
so you, know if you're hearing, me you're, going wait,
MINUTE i got night. Sweats you have going to ask
your doctor about. IT i did not connect the. TWO
i had a completely separate medical issue which resulted in
me having to get A ct. Scan it was nothing
(37:35):
wrong with me in relation to the medical issue THAT i,
experienced nothing clean bill of health on. That nothing to see, Here.
Brian but all THE ct scans, said your lymph nodes
are starting to. Pop they also mentioned of writing new.
Treatments we've talked with About cartes cell therapy anybody conjugates
(37:56):
improved survival for metastatic, cancers AND ohc has been on
this program talking about how successful those treatments have. Been
there are there is rather a whole lot of hope
built into these new. Treatments, screenings the journal points, out
are also catching, breast, lung and colon cancers at a
lot earlier stages or earlier stages. Anyway, however advanced prostate
(38:17):
cancer has increased in the recent. Years fewer men receive
prostate specific antigen. Tests THE Us Preventative Services Task force
last decade recommended AGAINST psa tests for men seventy years and.
OLDER i don't know. Why for those ages fifty five
to sixty, nine the panel recommended doctors quote not screen
(38:38):
men who do not express a preference for screening close
quote on the wrongheaded. Rationale it could lead to over
diagnosis and. Overtreatment i'd rather get screened and find out everything's,
aoka nothing to see, here or screen to find, out
oh my, god we better deal with this right now
because we found. Something i'd rather go through the exercise
(39:00):
and it checked out and finding out there's nothing wrong
and then being able to go home and with a
big grin on my. Face, Great i'm in good shape
until my next. Screening they, write healthcare bureaucrats believe the
health system spends too much to treat slow growing prostate.
Cancers but that's a decision for doctors and. Patients don't
(39:21):
apply the one size fits all. RULE i suppose some
patients a little different than. Others let the doctors. Decide
they Write obamacare empowered to that task force to determine
what screenings must be covered by, insurers so doctors tend
to follow the. Recommendations panels also been slow to revise
its recommendation despite mounting evidence that less screening has increased.
(39:43):
Mortality one, problem if you can believe, it is that
no oncologists are on the sixteen member task. Force is
that a red flag to? Anybody despite rapid biomedical, advances
government could slow cancer. Progress the reduction acts price controls
have prompted manufacturers to scrap dozens of experimental cancer medicines
(40:06):
and studies into whether existing, treatments approved or advanced diseases
could benefit patients in earlier. Stages so there's your pesky
government getting involved in whether or not someone should get
screened or. NOT i guess the boiled down point IS
i go back to an organization That i've been thankfully
affiliated with for geees more than fifteen. Years the Care
(40:27):
Starts now had them on the. Program we got the,
gala the Cure Starts now once in a lifetime gala and.
Auction it's a great event taking Place february twenty, eighth
AND i have the honor and privilege to do a
little facilitating introduce some people and things like. That but
a huge, event great turnout and so many generous people show.
Up and what's the point of the Care Starts Now
once in a lifetime gala and the whole organization that
(40:49):
is the Care Starts. Now they have so far pumped
in more than forty million dollars into research for pediatric brain.
Cancer why why Did keith And Brooke, destrich after losing
their daughter to pediatric brain, cancer go on this long
journey to try to find a cure for that because
no one was funding, research you know, why because the
(41:11):
kids died so quickly it wasn't worth the. Funding pharmaceutical
companies weren't willing to invest the millions of dollars to
do research into something that, well they child was very
well going to be dead well into this, research being
he had like a four month survival rate or. Something,
well you know, what thanks to the cure starts now
and all of their efforts and the efforts of the
(41:31):
global physicians who have literally gotten together to share their
research onto this cancer for the purposes of hopefully finding
what they call the home run. Cure in other, words
the research done for pediatric brain cancer may very well
lead to a cure for all. Cancers that's an amazing.
Thing and the pediatric brain cancer survival rate has increased.
(41:52):
DRAMATICALLY i think we're talking periods of years now where
it used to be something on the order of. Months
so you can get, involved you can help, out go
to the, gala but more, fundamentally pay attention to those little.
Things pay attention to your loved. Ones if they've got
some of those little things going on and they're not
(42:13):
inclined to go to a, physician you may have saved
their life by insisting a measure of an ounce of.
Protection an ounce can save a. Life six, seventeen fifty
five krc the talk station five one, three seven four
nine fifty five hundred eight hundred eight two three. Talk,
YES i know there's a whole lot going on in the,
world and you, know blame the editorial decision making a
(42:35):
brin six twenty two here fifty FIVE krcd talk station
five one, three seven four nine fifty five, hundred eight
hundred eighty two three talk or a pound five fifty
ON at AND t. Funds, uh definitely. COINCIDENCE i was not.
Aware gist record just reminded me on the heels of
my comment about starting my chema or my chema therapy.
Again it a in my cancer. Treatment AND i mention
(42:57):
that strong urging for, you my listening, audience that makes
you take good care of yourself and look into these
little pesky things for your own. Benefit the benefit of
your loved ones today is the anniversary Of Pamela smitherman's.
Passing Christopher smitheman's beautiful wife and such a, sad sad. Thing,
(43:17):
man that was a relationship that was just built on absolute.
Love and to think about, that and the fact That
christopher has lost his dearest, love the love of his
life as a consequence of cancer another. Incentive So, christopher you, know,
thoughts prayers going at to you on this tragic. Day
but everybody knows someone who's been impacted by the wealth
(43:41):
the scourge that is. Cancer and moving away from that
and continuing the theme started this morning with regard to
The Supreme court arguments over is are you a man
or a? Woman you know all of, this AND i
mentioned the stark difference between the conversation over, sex as
in are you a man or? Woman versus, sexuality which
(44:02):
is a whole host of different. Proclivities any individual can
have claim to be a, Woman and we have to
treat you as a woman in society even though you're
a guy, biologically what is your sexual? Proclivities that doesn't
answer the. Question one deals with, gender the other deals
with sexual. Proclivities so AND i worry about our children
and all this now if you want to discuss, conceptually,
(44:25):
perhaps ALTHOUGH i think it completely, unnecessary two young, people
let's say GRADES k through, twelve Or i'm PRATHER k
through six don't necessarily have the foundational building blocks to
get involved in matters involving sexuality and sexual. Proclivities nor
WOULD i think we we want our six and seven
year old maybe people youngest three talking about what people
(44:45):
do behind closed, doors or at least hopefully do behind closed.
Doors that should be very. Boten that's sexualizing our, children
it's in essence grooming. Them, now if conceptually you wanted
to talk about the general principle that there are some
in the world and in society and maybe even your,
neighborhood are on your, street men who are born as,
men who have all of the you, know the equipment
(45:06):
to identify as. Men if you just looked at them
objectively believe they are. Women, now that could force it
of your, young very young person have to get involved
in matters of. Psychology but at least you're not talking
about what that might mean from a sexual proclivity. STANDPOINT
i just mentioned that because The Fairfax County Public library
(45:28):
is defending its decision to Display Granddad's pride author Named
Harry woodgate about a child Named millie and her granddad
spreading the pride parade in their. Town images show illustrations
depicting sexually Explicit pride parade, scenes including men wearing bondage
(45:49):
gear and. Kissing the Book amazon listing states it's intended
for children ages three and up with a grade level of.
Preschool ritten for children for the purposes of being viewed by,
children and for WHAT i would argue your nefarious? Purposes
why are you talking about? Sexuality and this does talk about?
Sexuality apparently there's some pretty explicit descriptions of like bondage
(46:12):
gear and stuff like. That one illustration of the book
shows a childholding a sign that reads trans kids are.
Magic what is that, Like Harry Potter? Magic that's the
line over WHICH i refused to. Cross why are you
presenting materials to children which force adults to either discuss
(46:35):
the concept of sexual proclivities and where you fall on
that broad, spectrum or directly discuss these activities with children
who have yet to have the capacity or understanding to
really appreciate what it means to engage in those, activities
or who might be more willing to engage in those
activities in spite of the fact that they're very young
(46:56):
miners sometimes. Prepewbescent this opens the door for that. Discussion
kids want to do what adults, do and especially when
kids are told that you shouldn't be doing this until
you're an. Adult that's the nefarious part that's built into
all this crap grooming our. Children it's. Disgusting six twenty
Seven right now fifty FIVE Krc talk, Station Chimney Care.
(47:17):
Fireplaces it's six thirty, two fifty FIVE Krcd talk station
and dive in into some local. Stories. Eah first of,
all STORY i started out with this, morning since a
council felt necessary to pass the resolution URGING ice agents
to comply with city police, policies including requirements regarding body
cameras and officer identification as well as wearing no. Masks,
(47:42):
now Don't i'm not going to go back through the legal.
Analysis they have no authority right under the. Constitution this
is federal laws being enforced by federal agents local. Municipalities
the states can't control. Them they are not entitled to
tell the law or THE ice agents how to do their.
Job and yet they pass the resolution and suggesting just.
That co sponsor And albispa councilwoman provided her, reasoning we
(48:07):
do not want masked agents terrorizing our neighborhoods and pulling
residents out of their. Cars if they are violent CRIMINALS
ice is, apprehending then we expect them to do so
safely and, professionally because that is not what we saw
In minneapolis last week WHEN ice agent shot and Killed Renee.
Good we should all be horrified by what happened and
what we witnessed in that. Video we can break that
(48:29):
down if you, want BUT ice is going after violent
criminals and if you impede them going after the bad.
Guys first, off the bad guys stay free and out
on our streets to commit crimes like violent crimes against.
Children but you also put yourself at, risk and you're
also committing a crime by interfering WITH ice. Agents back
to my comments from earlier on, THIS i have no
problem WITH ice agents wearing, cameras AND i think that
(48:51):
they probably want to wear. Cameras turns out it's in
the interest of law enforcement to have video footage documenting
the actual reality of a counters between them and the,
citizenry rather than listening to the citizenry he claim about
police brutality and then have no way of refuting it
other than he, said she. Said Northern kentucky man sentenced
(49:12):
more than a decade in prison after prosecutors say he
sexually abused a teenager for. Years, joe we may have
an award to give out For Michael, howard thirty, seven Of, Burlington,
kentucky convicted of twenty eight counds of sexual abuse one
kind of sodomy After Boone county debuty's receive reports that
he abused the juvenile several times over five. Years say
(49:32):
the abuse began After Timmy, goodman then, fourteen started working
for This howard excrement at a furniture store in twenty.
Nineteen Timmy goodman, said this should never have. HAPPENED i
would have never dreamed this would happen before it. Did
he sunk his teeth and his claws into. Me but
know someone where he is going to look forward to
(49:54):
sink their clause into his depressing and decrepit. Body, oh
that's exactly the sound EFFECT i was thinking Of timmy's onto.
It howard also worked at The Florence Baptist temple In.
Burlington he knew The goodman family, well and the two
families went on. Vacation timmy's, Mom julie, quote we discovered
(50:14):
that her son had been groomed and sexually abused by
someone we considered one of our closest. Friends the trauma
was so severe that we had to Move timmy's bed
into the living, room and we are now remodeling the,
basement hoping that removing the reminders of the past will.
Help after additional, interviews investigators found That howard admitted to
a three to four year. Relationship Mike schell From fox
(50:36):
nineteen thank you for Reporting. Howard Attorney Brandon mormon said
that his client was. Remorseful i'm sure he's probably just
upset he got. Caught, however when allowed to address the,
Court howard did not, apologize, saying, quote this is. HORRIBLE
i got caught up in SOMETHING i never should. Have
goodman Said howard had many talents and, accomplishments especially in
(50:58):
playing the, piano but he would would be remembered as
a sexual, predator. Right howard sentenced to fifteen years in
order to register as the sex defender pump. Release, yeah
that's hard, time isn't, It, joe that's really hard. Time. God,
yeah probably read that. Period the biggest douche of the,
(51:22):
universe in all the, galaxies there's no bigger douche than.
You you've reached the, top the pinnacle of douche. Dom good, Going,
deus your dreams have come.
Speaker 3 (51:37):
True.
Speaker 1 (51:40):
YEAH i probably relied on reading materials from The Fairfax
County library to groom the. Child, hey these reading materials
are for three years. Old en up six thirty six right,
now What Sai jim is on the. Phone your calls
are all so. Welcome feel free to chime. In i'd
love to hear from. You five one three seven fifty.
Five it's six forty one right now if you buy
ker ced talk Station Friday. Eve Congressman Warren, davidson aw
(52:02):
for the top of the are it is in the,
Meantime you, KNOW i love hearing from folks five one three,
seven eight hundred and eight two three talk pound five
fifty ON at AND t. Phone someone WHO, i of
course always enjoy hearing from West Side Jim. Massey welcome
to the, program my.
Speaker 3 (52:16):
Friend good, Morning.
Speaker 8 (52:17):
BRIAN i was glad to hear That leah is going
to be on.
Speaker 3 (52:20):
It Sad Or Judge leah Tinkle.
Speaker 8 (52:23):
Lecker it's another another fine jurist that we have following
in their father's. FOOTSTEPS i think it'll be totally impressed by.
Speaker 1 (52:33):
Her i'm SURE i will.
Speaker 3 (52:34):
Be she does a great.
Speaker 5 (52:36):
Job but you, KNOW i want to talk a little
bit about this. Mask you, know if we're going to do,
that these.
Speaker 8 (52:42):
These, gentlemen not Just, ice but the local people and
Like swat and other people like, that they wear masks
for their own protection and their family's protections most of the.
Time excuse, me because the bad guys know who these guys,
are of course without without the, mask and you, know
(53:04):
if they take the mask, off then they know who
who is actually.
Speaker 3 (53:10):
Coming to get.
Speaker 6 (53:10):
Them then they're going to.
Speaker 8 (53:12):
Retaliate and it may be six months or maybe a,
week who. Knows but if they're going to do this
and that all of the is one of the worst
can this for city council there ever? Was she she's,
this she's she's in the line of goon. Birds but,
anyway she she's wrong on this because if they're going
(53:35):
to do, that then The atifas and the other people
the world to wear these. Masks they need to be
taken off, also because why if it's good for, one
it's good for the.
Speaker 1 (53:44):
Other, well what about what Doctor fauci. SAID i, MEAN
i half jokingly say, that but you, know our government
for two and a half three years told us we
must wear a mask all the, time all the. Time
you're killing somebody to wear. It so there's that. Element
there is no law prohibiting the wearing of masks That
(54:06):
i'm aware. OF i, guess you, know everybody has access
to facial recognition software these, days which is the point
you're making. About maybe the reason THE ice agents are
wearing the mask is because they don't want to expose
their maybe wife or husband or children to violence from
these crazy people which they have acted. On you, know
(54:26):
it's a stranger. Methody you. Know part of the libertarian
theban wants to say we shouldn't have you, know masks
covering law. Enforcement BUT i guess we can balance that by,
saying if they are appropriately identified as members of law,
enforcement if they got a badge hanging, out if they're,
well you, know identified as POLICE ice in the placards
on their uniforms and, everything we can take some comfort
(54:47):
that whoever is interrogating, you or asking you to stop
and comply with the, law is in fact a member
of law. ENFORCEMENT i don't know that seeing their face
would alter that, determination you know WHAT i, mean anybody
could being a police, officer mask or. No so it's as.
Speaker 8 (55:04):
Dumb as these resolutions as they put out to locally
against the federal government that they think it's really going
to make a.
Speaker 1 (55:10):
Difference, WELL i don't know if you think it's going
to make a, difference but it. Is it has no,
impact not just because it's a, resolution but they cannot
legally mandate or dictate the terms of conditions on how
federal agents conduct federal law. Enforcement it's exactly lawful doing.
That it has no. Power it was a pointless gesture
TO i, guess joining the politicization of the whole process
(55:33):
OF ice doing their.
Speaker 8 (55:34):
Job And, brian, lastly on your six hours that you've
got to go through this. TODAY i know it's just
a little bit of time for what you've got to
go through to find out that your treatment's going to
take care of.
Speaker 5 (55:47):
You so.
Speaker 8 (55:49):
Cancer.
Speaker 3 (55:49):
Sucks you know.
Speaker 1 (55:50):
It you know it because you've been through, It.
Speaker 8 (55:54):
Yes, sir the eight years next, Month so, anyway good
luck on, it and, well LIKE i, said it's a
little bit of time for what the end result.
Speaker 1 (56:05):
It is it, is AND i want to sound Like
i'm just you, know wailing and moaning because of my. Situation,
AGAIN i use my situation and say things about it out,
loud because, look, ultimately you can get cured and it's
not that big of a. Deal, ultimately if you stay
on top of your medical conditions and you you, know
chase down those little pesky things that could be something,
worse the likelihood of you not dying goes up. Dramatically
(56:28):
this is all good information and good. News there's a
lot of reasons to be positive out, there even in
a world filled with people diagnosed with, cancer which. Sucks Jim,
keefer my cancer surviving, friend you, KNOW i love you.
Man best of, Luck, brian thanks, brother six forty six right,
now if you HAVE krc detalk, station and IF i
went three seven fifty five hundred at six fifty one
here fifty five K Sea detalk, STATION a Happy, friday eight.
(56:52):
You Congressman Warren. Davidson at the time of the years
and our, news we'll talk about The ice shooting and
that just happened the other, day of, course the one
that preceded, it with the woman who tried to stop
By ice from enforcing the immigration laws in the. COUNTRY
i guess that's one of the THINGS i left. Forgets you,
know the laws were passed, democratically, Constitutionally House senate passing immigration,
(57:16):
laws signed into law by the. President those laws, Exist
they're still in the. Books and even Though Joe biden
chose not to enforce them for the four years he
was in, Office, ah the laws didn't go. Away remember
the clamoring from The bide, administration we can stop this.
Problem we just need to change the. Law we need
to change the. Law when they wanted to change the
law because they wanted to formalize and you, know well
(57:39):
legalize the illegal immigrant community who came in here in
violation and of the, law, right make them, citizens naturalize, them.
Whatever but the law is still. There it could have
been enforced Entered Donald trump version Two trump two point
zero cracked down immediately and the flow of humanity stopped
(57:59):
by enforcing the. Law, now the second phase of enforcing the,
laws enforcing immigration laws and removing, people most notably those
subject to a removal or. Detention it's supposed to be
held in the local jails Until ice can come and
pick them up and throw them out of the country
pursuing to the due process of the already they've already been,
through most notably the due. Process it resulted in them
(58:21):
being convicted criminally of all types of horrific. Crimes but
if one of the protesters gets killed, interfering it's, Murder
it's an act of. Terrorist we've heard it all day.
LONG i just want to remind people there there was
a woman out in the world at one point Named Ashley.
Babbitt you may remember Her jay six. Protester the standard
(58:45):
for using deadly force is eminent of, apprehension reasonable eminent
apprehension of grievous bodily harm or. DEATH i am fearing
legitimately so reasonably so from. Life i'm going to use
deadly force to well counter the deadly forces being used upon.
(59:06):
Me did that woman accelerate at An ice, Officer, yep
you can't deny. It it's right. There could you jumped
out of the, WAY i don't. Know man had already
been hit once drug one hundred plus feet in a previous,
Incident stuck in the window of a. Car he was
trying to take the keys out because that person was resisting,
arrest so he'd been down that road before apparently did
(59:29):
get hit hard enough to suffer internal. Bleeding leaks has
been widely reported as of yesterday that that's what. Happened
she was defying the orders of law enforcement and then
engage in that, activity clearly intending to resist compliance with
(59:51):
the directives aimed at, her as well as RESIST ice
doing its job in and of. ITSELF a crime gone
Down Ashley babbitt while she was trying to squeeze through
a turny broken. WINDOW i hope you've seen the footage of.
That she was not. Armed there were multiple law enforcement
agents armed in the general. Area no one's life was in.
(01:00:15):
Jeopardy she struggled to try to squeeze through the, window
and it was during the process of the squeezing that
she got gunned down and lost her. Life was there
eminent apprehension of grievous bodily harm a woman barely being
able to squeeze through a window without without being. Armed,
NO i don't see. It did anybody that reasonably feel
(01:00:35):
fear for their death now didn't see? It good law
enforcement have just grabbed her or stopped her while she
was trying to squeeze through that entryway struggling to do. So,
yeah they had, guns and the left applauded the. Officers
he saved countless. Lives, really and you buy into, THAT
(01:01:00):
i certainly. Don't and trust, me if this happened outside
The capitol, building that local prosecutor would have prosecuted the
person who squeezed the trigger because it was not lawful
to use deadly force under those, circumstances because the preconditions
that justified were not, there they were not. MET a
(01:01:22):
stark contrast from The this good, woman not that she
was demonstrably, good but her last name being, good engaging
in criminal conduct and threatening an officer's life with a
multi thousand pound vehicle accelerating toward, him after already evidencing
(01:01:43):
an unwillingness to cooperate with ice doing their law enforcement.
Activities now the left thinks that is, Outrageous oh my,
god this is, Insane oh my, god this person was. Murdered,
well just Remember Ashley babbitt and just draw comparison between
the two and all the praise that went out for
the officer that Murdered Ashlee babbitt six fifty, six fifty
(01:02:05):
Five Caro City Talk. Station Congressman davidson will continue that
conversation with him about The ice shooting and the government.
Shutdown is it coming or isn't And Common Police Judge
Honorable Lead Dank locker at seven point thirty in, studio
looking forward to. That hope you can stick around for
the seven o'clock.
Speaker 7 (01:02:20):
Hour today's top headlines coming up at the top it.
Speaker 1 (01:02:27):
It's seven six here Five Krocity Talk. Station Happy, Friday eve.
Too she's already in, house but she'll be joining the
program in. Studio Common Police Court, Judge honorable Leading. Locker
i'll be talking about her, well running for another term this.
Year she's a great. Judge we need to elect. Her
And Jay ratt look at eight thirty without further ado,
THOUGH i love When congressman more And davidson joins the.
(01:02:48):
Program welcome, Back Congressman. Davidson is always a pleasure to
have you on the fifty Five Krosee Morning.
Speaker 7 (01:02:53):
Show, Ryan it's always an honor nice to talk with.
Speaker 1 (01:02:56):
You too, bad there's nothing to talk. About Congressman. Davidson
how's the family health life treating you? Now let's move
over To. Ice minneapolis obviously the epicenter of all the
violence that's going, on although it's spread to a variety
of different. Cities they're a well organized. Machine these. Protesters
have a question or two about. That but, THIS i
don't know how it could devolve into a he, said
she said thing without. QUESTION i mean The constitution as
(01:03:21):
it's been, interpreted and as The Supreme court has pronounced
federal law exclusively the purview of federal, agencies and federal
law enfor enforcement officers don't have to succumb to the
whim of a local municipality or jurisdiction or. State they're
entitled to enter into the area to conduct the federal
law enforcement. Actions and that's exactly what they're. Doing the
(01:03:41):
immigration laws have not changed SINCE i don't know what
the nineties or, something the last time we had any.
Change they're on the, books they are being enforced. Now
The biden administration just chose not to enforce. Them so
this is all above board legitimate, activity is it.
Speaker 7 (01:03:56):
Not, Well, LOOK i, mean when we went from The
articles Of confederation to The constitution way back in seventeen eighty,
nine one of the main things was you wo'ld have
a uniform standard for, naturalization like who's a? Citizen you know,
why because who's the citizen, matters and you, know how
you become a citizen. Matters AND i won't say we've
(01:04:17):
got that nailed down. Perfectly there's problems with how you
become a citizen and. Everything So democrats, decided, oh we'll
just quit worrying about the distinction and flood the country
with tens of millions.
Speaker 3 (01:04:28):
Of people who are here.
Speaker 7 (01:04:29):
Illegally and they don't just go. Anywhere they tend to
go towards sanctuary cities and states where they know immigration
law isn't going to be. Forced you've got local law
enforcement running interference on. It and why are these things
happening In minneapolis And minnesota because they're huge sanctuary and
so they've flooded that area with. Illegals other, areas you,
(01:04:52):
know Like Butler, County, ohio well you don't have this
problem because local law enforcements. Engage they're applying the law, there.
Helping so when they pull somebody over and they're not here,
legally they will detain them and and call.
Speaker 3 (01:05:08):
Ice ice will come by pick them.
Speaker 7 (01:05:10):
Up everything's nice and, orderly but In minneapolis they're literally
obstructing justice and in blocking. It and then you've got
these citizen observers who want to drive off and disrupt
and make the job very challenging FOR. Ice and, unfortunately this,
lady you, know she was somehow doing some kind of
(01:05:32):
righteous cause by preventing there being any accountability for people
here illegally and PREVENTING ice from doing their. Job and,
unfortunately she drove her vehicle at AN ice agent hit,
him and you, know he responded in a defensive way
with a very accurate, shot several.
Speaker 3 (01:05:49):
Shots so in.
Speaker 7 (01:05:50):
Tragic that she, died and a powerful interview with her
father in law RECENTLY.
Speaker 1 (01:05:55):
I saw that ON. Cnn, yeah, YEAH i guess it's her.
Fault according to her father or, law don't do, that
don't interfere with the law enforcement doing their, job and
you won't get. Hurt but it's no surprise that there
are people like her out, there and obviously quite a
few of. Them we have elected, officials the mayor of you, Know,
minneapolis you got the Governor Tim, wallas and then locally
(01:06:16):
here we have since a city council passing a resolution
during which discussion one councilman said that THESE ice agents
are terrorizing our. Neighborhoods we had the vice mayors say
that THAT ice is an illegal, entity and the egging
on and encouragement of this outright defiance by, saying in
(01:06:39):
spite of the fact that it is an, absolute, absolute outright,
lie THAT ice is illegal and that they're engaging in illegal.
Activities going back to my initial, point the laws are
on the. Books they are enforcing federal. Law yeah they.
Speaker 7 (01:06:52):
Are and look it's obvious they. ARE i, mean go
back TO i, mean you, know iconically for anybody illed
enough to, remember you Know Bill, clintonson and you, know
they see a swat team to go extract this Little
cuban kid In, florida and they get a guy with
AN mp five grabbing the kid to send them back To.
Cuba apparently they didn't want them to get exposed to.
(01:07:15):
Freedom they needed to make sure he stayed in a communist.
Place now they're bringing the communism To america and they
don't want anybody to. Leave and, look this is what it.
Is it's a power politics, thing, RIGHT i, mean they
flooded the country with tens of millions illegals and they
went to sanctuary. Cities why because they run their cities
and states like, crap so people who can voluntarily. Leave
(01:07:37):
so that's where like you, know the counties the belt
around big cities they're, growing the affluence tends to get
out of the city where they're going to you, know
get terrible service for the, money heavy taxes that they're
paying and the heavy regulation they're dealing.
Speaker 3 (01:07:53):
With so they keep moving and.
Speaker 7 (01:07:55):
If they can't get out of the city far, enough
they'll get all the way out of the. State Is
california finding Out and then when you do the, census you, go,
wow nobody lives in the.
Speaker 3 (01:08:04):
City you guys.
Speaker 7 (01:08:06):
Don't have a full representative. Anymore, well your states losing
representatives and and they're they're they're countering that by flooding
it with. People and this is where we need an honest.
Census you should only count citizens when you do the.
Census california would lose six or seven representatives if that
were true and fair. Enough other States, Texas arizona might
(01:08:27):
lose some. Too ohio would probably gain one or. More
but that would be an honest. Thing Right In, congress
we Represent american, citizens we don't represent foreign. Nationals that's
why you have embassies and.
Speaker 1 (01:08:39):
Consulates, yeah AND i always struggle with the concept of.
That the, argument, well the illegal, immigrants while illegal not
here within The United, states are here. Lawfully they are
in our, area consuming goods and services and things brought
by the. Government, ergo they're impacted by their by whatever
vote is, cast so they should have a. Vote i'm
(01:09:00):
not buying into that at. ALL I, mean the best
you can argue is that someone who is, here maybe
not a, citizen but who is lawfully, here is given
a work, permit for, example and is paying, taxes you
at least have a plausible argument for counting. Them but
the minutias where the whole thing falls.
Speaker 7 (01:09:18):
Apart, YEAH i, mean we'll hopefully get a good decision
out of the Court Supreme court here on that and
clarify this hasn't been litigated the right, Way and you,
KNOW i think we have a chance to get a better.
DECISION i think you shouldn't count period unless you're a.
Citizen we've got legislation trying to make that, happen and
(01:09:39):
they're fighting in.
Speaker 3 (01:09:39):
Court to make that.
Speaker 7 (01:09:40):
Happen but in the, meantime look the way that illegal
immigrants should be impacted is you're leaving because you're not here,
legally and you, know, well there should be a path
to be here.
Speaker 3 (01:09:51):
Legally there.
Speaker 7 (01:09:52):
Is we have an immigration lawn and you need to follow.
It and you, know a lot of the people that
are most resentful about illegal immigrant are the legal, immigrants
the people that did come here.
Speaker 3 (01:10:03):
Legally and you, know we.
Speaker 7 (01:10:04):
Talk to these people all the, time and that's the.
Thing and, look we've got some Communities, lachland for, example
where you have a large flood of people From eritrea
that you, know you have about as many people who
came there as the whole population Of. Lachland and people, say,
well you know they're taking up. Resources we need federal
(01:10:26):
dollars to deal with. This the federal dollars you need
is to extract the people that aren't here. Lawfully that's
what needs to. Happen and you, know it's disappointing that
we're having to do.
Speaker 3 (01:10:38):
THIS i, mean this is it seems.
Speaker 7 (01:10:40):
So bad to have to get these people out of
the country or detained or. Whatever this is all because
The biden administration facilitated an invasion of our. Country they
perverted our laws which are supposed to be upheld by
the executive. Branch they're supposed to go faithfully execute the,
laws and they literally undermine those. Laws and we couldn't
(01:11:01):
get a judge to take action to stop them from
ignoring the law and make them enforce and apply the.
Law so this is the corrupted judiciary. Branch and now
you've got the judiciary branch out there trying to Block
President trump from enforcing the clear meaning of the. Law
and when you talked about clear meaning of the, LAW i,
(01:11:22):
mean you get The Supreme court this week here in
cases where well we don't really know what a difference
between a man and a woman is in. LAW i,
mean so it's just nonsensical stuff going. On and it's
just hard to fathom that you're even having these.
Speaker 3 (01:11:36):
Discussions hard to.
Speaker 1 (01:11:38):
Fathom, indeed we'll continue With Congressman Warren. Davidson we're here
to break seven. Fifteen but you have KR cd talk.
Station let me strongly encourage you to call the best
in the business when it comes to roofing work and
a gutter guard talk station seven Nineteen here fifty five
KR cd talk station By thomas The Congressman Warren, davidson
kind of spend time with my listener and me every
(01:12:01):
week for a little. While Congressman davidson pivoting over are
we gonna have another government? Shutdown and if, so is
this going to be Over obamacare, subsidies which merely masks
the failing reality of obamacareen does nothing about the cost of.
Healthcare or is this going to be about maybe Funding
ice and its, Operations Congressman, davidson.
Speaker 7 (01:12:19):
It sounds like a little bit of. BOTH i, mean
if you listen To Chuck schumer in The, senate that
seems to, say you, know six weeks wasn't enough back
in the, fall we want to go ahead and do
it some. More and we saw some polling Where democrats
at approval rating with their base actually went down when
they reopened the. Government they were happier with Their democrat
leaders when they had the government shut. Down so they
(01:12:42):
seem to, say, yeah let's do. It AND i, think,
look the other thing at play here is the economy
is starting to move in the right. Direction there's good
momentum behind a lot of, things And democrats don't want
that to happen in an election. Year it don't want
all the results from these policies that have happened last,
year keeping taxes, low driving investment in jobs coming, in
(01:13:04):
and investment, groundbreakings announced new work out there for.
Speaker 3 (01:13:09):
People they don't want those.
Speaker 7 (01:13:10):
Things to kick in and have people with more cash
in their pocket and able to deal with the affordability
challenges that have been out there better than they have.
Been they don't want that to happen between now And.
November AND i think that's part of.
Speaker 1 (01:13:23):
It, well this whole affordability argument that they're making is.
Nonsensical first, off inflation brought about a lot under The
biden administration for chucking another eight or so trillion dollars
into the, economy feeding everyone with a whole lot of
additional cash while a lot of, us a lot of
the business and industry was shut down because OF. Covid
(01:13:44):
so the demand went up precipitously because of the infusion of,
cash and yet the supply wasn't. There we all know
what that. Happened that results in. Inflation but then the
vast majority of, inflation and this so called affordability problem
is brought about mostly by, regulation government, intervention which forces
us to have to spend more to engage in our
day to day, activities the green whole get get rid
(01:14:04):
of carbon, dioxide plant food thing causing you, know electricity
plants to engage in, massive multi billion dollar projects to capture.
Carbon that drives our energy bill. Up the sporadic reality
of green energy production windmills and solar panels which go
on and off and it ends up spiking the cost of.
Electricity that increases. It all the the edicts and mandates
(01:14:25):
on our, automobiles Which trump thankfully got rid, of drives
the price of automobiles. UP i, mean we could go
on and. On the key and the most nefarious element
to affordability are massive government regulations and manipulations that are
that are heaped down upon us by our elected. Officials
that's an easy, fix get rid of.
Speaker 7 (01:14:42):
Them, yeah that's well, Said. BRIAN i mean that's exactly
what's been, underway is ditching those crazy. Policies and you
know the other the other component of is the spending
in the. Subsidies so everything that you, subsidize like, OKAY
i get, it it's, expensive, okay, well less subsidize. It,
(01:15:03):
well that's going to cause the inflation to be even
higher than it was. Before and the things that are
most heavily, subsidized, education, healthcare, housing these. Things the rate
of inflation is bigger than the things that aren't. Subsidized
and you, know you've just you're choking on a fatal
(01:15:24):
overdose of government right out. Here and that's what they
want to mask with The obamacare. Subsidies and, look these
aren't like everything In. Obamacare this is a small subset
Of obamacare that WERE covid era. Subsidies and they're, like,
well we need an off. Ramp you're, like, well COVID's
been over since twenty. ONE i think you've had a pretty, good,
long pretty long off ramp. Here And democrats built. It
(01:15:48):
they put it in in the first. Place they're, like,
Well republicans aren't helping, us and you're, like, well we
didn't help you put it. On it was a whole,
party party line vote to put it in the first.
Place but there are Some republicans that want to work
with them in exchange for some. Reform but they're, like, no,
no we don't want any of the. Reform part, like,
oh then you don't have the votes.
Speaker 1 (01:16:07):
Right, well you, know the key the elephant in the
room on this discussion is why does something need to be. Subsidized,
well you subsidize wind and solar because it's not. Affordable
it doesn't produce efficient, energy and the only reason anybody
would buy it is if you provide tax incentives and
subsidies for the stuff to be built in the first.
Place so it's a faux, market a. Competition the subsidies
(01:16:29):
allow it to compete with something that works really, well
like gas and. Oil but then you heap massive energy
taxes environmental rules on the gas and oil. Production it
pushes that kind of price up, artificially making wind and
solar look. Better same thing with medical. Care why do
you need An obamacare? Subsidy what's? It the root of the.
Problem it's the cost of health. Care they haven't done
(01:16:51):
anything to lower the cost of health. Care that's the
root of the.
Speaker 7 (01:16:55):
Problem, yeah and they don't want to talk about changing
any of those things because they want the. PROBLEM i,
mean and, look they're trying to get so much government
that they completely take over healthcare like a lot of
other socialists. Utopias, Right so this is the problem with their,
policies and eventually you run out of other people's. Money
(01:17:18):
but they haven't let that be a. Constraint, Right, so,
look the idea of a balanced, budget it holds in
states Like ohio where we have to by.
Speaker 3 (01:17:26):
Law but at the federal, level.
Speaker 7 (01:17:31):
You, know we're spending seven trillion dollars more than seven
trillion dollars and five tryingon come.
Speaker 3 (01:17:36):
Out AND i, MEAN i think about.
Speaker 7 (01:17:37):
It if you had like a ten gallon barrel and
you took five gallons of water out of the barrel
and you put seven gallons, in, well the water levels
higher if it was fully full a.
Speaker 3 (01:17:52):
Ten it's. Overflowing that's what's.
Speaker 7 (01:17:54):
Inflation you're dumping an extra two trillion dollars in the
economy every single year with the structural deficity we've. Got and,
unfortunately what we're seeing also in the sanctuary city Of
minneapolis Or Little mogadishu as some have started calling, it
you've got These somali fraud, issues and you know you're
(01:18:14):
looking at as much as you, know five to ten percent.
Fraud and that's Why doge came in and started, saying,
look we got to start shutting this. Down and look,
Sadly republicans barely could muster the votes to DEFUND, npr,
right so we haven't been as aggressive on some of
the cutting In congress as the administration, Is they're, like,
(01:18:35):
well we're simply withholding funds until xyzu so that they
can actually get after some of the. Fraud SO i
think a lot of things are going the right, way
And democrats don't like, that and that's why we may
well end up with a shutdown here On january.
Speaker 1 (01:18:49):
Thirtieth, well if it's a shutdown and the name of
getting rid of, fraud, waste and, Abuse i'm all in
favor of. IT i think this Whole minneapolis reality has settled. In,
WELL i can't imagine any, individual well regardless of political,
stripe thinking that ferreting out and preventing, fraud waste and
abuse is a bad, idea, unless of, course you're part
of the nefarious type which realizes, that, well my political
(01:19:10):
career or my political party will benefit because these fraudulent
tax dollars are going to end up in my. Pocket that's.
Criminal so the balance of, us the rest of, us
the saint of us in the, world realized that taxpayer
dollars stolen harm every, taxpayer regardless of political, stripe and
prevent those who may be truly in need of the
services offered by any given program are going to be
(01:19:30):
deprived of that because of the criminal. Activity that is
a bipartisan, Reality Congressman, davidson at least that's my.
Speaker 3 (01:19:38):
Take, yeah common.
Speaker 7 (01:19:40):
SENSE i, MEAN i think one of the best phrases
Was Sarah Huckabee sanders rebuttal To Joe biden's one Of
Joe Biden's state of The union addresses is a dividing,
lines not red versus, Blue republican Versus, democrat but really
normal versus crazy at this, point and those are so
many of the kinds of discussions we're. Having and you,
KNOW I i think in our part of Southwest, ohio
(01:20:03):
people are in The we're in the normal camp, here.
Speaker 3 (01:20:06):
Yep with some.
Speaker 7 (01:20:07):
Exceptions is your points out in the city In, cincinnati
where it's controversial to have law and order and put
people in jail for committing.
Speaker 1 (01:20:13):
Crimes some people just like to, protest not really a
commitment to the, cause it's just they want to buck
whatever system they live. Under Congressman Warren davison cannot thank
you enough for joining my listeners in me every. Week
it's always a wonderful. Conversation it's nice to know that
we have an elected official who isn't insane and who
always does the right. Thing, congressman we'll get you on
again real. SOON i hope you have a wonderful week
(01:20:37):
you as.
Speaker 7 (01:20:37):
Well brian gav bless you and all your.
Speaker 1 (01:20:38):
Listeners seven twenty Eight Common Polease Court Judge. Station it's
seven thirty two on A. Friday EVEN a happy one to,
You Brian thomas here and please to have in the
Studio judge le Dink. Locker the name sounds. Familiar, gee
where HAVE i heard the word Dinkle locker? Before judge Dink.
LOCKER a pleasure to have you in the.
Speaker 4 (01:20:59):
Studio thank you so much for having me here. Today
i'm honored to be.
Speaker 1 (01:21:02):
Here And i've known your, Father Judge patten In clocker
a long long. TIME i don't recall ever being in
front of him in, court but, HE i, mean widely
accepted across political lines as an outstanding. Jurist so you
come from great. Lineage let me just applaud you on
your dad being who your dad.
Speaker 4 (01:21:23):
Is thank. You i've truly blessed.
Speaker 1 (01:21:26):
And i'm probably inspiring to you as.
Speaker 4 (01:21:27):
Well such absolutely, yes.
Speaker 1 (01:21:30):
Did you aspire to be a judge when you went
to law.
Speaker 4 (01:21:31):
School so a lot of people ask me. That, obviously
with my, dad you know WHAT i always, said you,
Know i'll just keep my opportunities open and see what.
HAPPENS i KNEW i wanted to be a, prosecutor and
that's WHAT i was for almost thirteen years BEFORE i
took the. Bench but it's pretty cool to follow in
your dad's, FOOTSTETS i.
Speaker 1 (01:21:51):
Imagine so it's interesting you say that because WHEN i
went to law, SCHOOL i INITIALLY i wanted to be
a litigation attorney of some. Sort AND i initially, thought,
HEY i want to work in the prosecutor's office BECAUSE
i worked in the courthouse For Judge panioto back when
the When domestic was on the fourth floor of The
Hamler County. COURTHOUSE i go way, back BUT i was
around them all the, time AND i got to do
(01:22:11):
what they called an externship WHEN i was in law
school AND i worked For Melbourne Marsh. Prosecute, yeah, okay love, Her, yeah,
yeah she is. Outstanding so a great collection of folks.
There So i'm glad you spent time in the prosecutor's,
office which obviously really prepares you to be on the
on the. Bench you were appointed last is It? March
(01:22:33):
Last march by The governor De, Wine, yes Replacing Judge Megan. Shanahan, yes,
Yes did you apply for? THAT i, mean was your name? Submitted?
Speaker 4 (01:22:44):
Yeah. Sure so obviously When Justice shanahan was elected to
The Supreme, court that spot was. Open Uh SO i
interviewed in front of The judicial selection. Committee the party,
then you, know made their recommendations to the. Governor THEN
i went up to The governor's office AND i, interviewed
and then several months LATER i got the appointment In.
Speaker 1 (01:23:04):
March that is. Outstanding obviously a lot of competition out,
there and it's very politically CHARGED i imagine. Process even
though it just should be built on your resume and your,
background there's still politics, involved right. CLEARLY i, Mean governor De,
wines whatever we might say about, him isn't going to
appoint A democrat to the. BENCH i would, Say but
(01:23:26):
you don't, run you don't run under a party affiliation
when you're running for. Judge and that's one of the
complicating factors because you AND i both know and fully
understand how important the bench. Is we've had such a
problem with crime in The Hamilton county generally, speaking and
part of the downfall of the criminal justice system, is you,
know the prosecutors might do their. Work the police have
certainly done their work to bring someone to, Justice otherwise
(01:23:48):
they wouldn't, be you, know in front of a judge
with the prosecutor's office prosecuting the. Case but if you
have a weak judge or someone who isn't tough on,
crime they let them go low bond or very very
low sentence on and once convicted beyond a reasonable. Doubt
that's a, huge, huge huge problem we face In Hamilton.
Speaker 4 (01:24:07):
County, yeah and you KNOW i CAN i can only
control what goes on in my. Courtroom you, know the
safety of the community is a top priority in my,
courtroom as it is under the. Law you, KNOW i
took an oath to follow the. LAW i take that.
SERIOUSLY i believe in law and. ORDER i believe in
the rule of, law AND i believe in protecting this.
Community in my. COURTROOM i do set my bonds on serious.
(01:24:30):
Felonies felonies is the first and second, degree BECAUSE i
think it's.
Speaker 1 (01:24:33):
Important, WELL i know people have in the community appreciate.
That we'll, Pause we'll Bring Judge Dink locker back for
a few more. Conversations co seven thirty seven right now
fifty FIVE krcd talk station or more conversation more properly.
Stated but FIRST i gotta Mention Suzette loe's camp With
Cross Country. Morriage she's great at talk station Seven here
(01:24:55):
fifty FIVE kcv talk, station Right thomas With judge Dink,
locker not the one you may, remember historical and prominent
Judge Judge Patrick. Dinkclocker this is his, daughter but appointed
By judge or By Governor Mike DeWine Last march to
sit on The Hamlin County Common Police. Court doing a
wonderful job so, far and we'll be running for reelection This.
November i've always found the judicial elections rather, Frustrating judge Dink,
(01:25:17):
locker because if you're outside of the, law and hopefully
the vast majority of people, are who wants to be
even embroiled in a civil, litigation because you know that
equals a lot of, money right. Right lawyers are. EXPENSIVE
i know BECAUSE i was. ONE i GUESS i still,
am But i'm a recovering, lawyer so they don't practice.
Anymore but you know in criminal matters as. WELL i
(01:25:39):
was kind of curious to, know given the state of
the world these, days how difficult it is to be a.
JUDGE i, mean you're responsible for convicting people and are
rather sentencing people in criminal, trials assuming a, jury or,
you if you're doing a bench, trial decide that the
person is guilty beyond a reasonable. DOUBT a lot of
it's focus on. You lot of a family members quite
(01:26:01):
often get vocal and, angry AND i imagine there's this
online social media, banter maybe even having a misunderstanding of
what actually happened in your. Courtroom how do you how
are you able to rise above that and continue to
do your job in the face of this sort of
WHAT i, will you, know lightly call a.
Speaker 4 (01:26:21):
Threat, yeah, sure, well you, KNOW i just always keep my.
Composure that's my. Job my job is to be fair and,
impartial AND i, just you, KNOW i LET i let
everyone have their day in. COURT i let everyone tell
me what they want to tell, me even though sometimes
it can be out of line or. WHATEVER i just
(01:26:43):
still keep my composure And i'll take a break IF
i need to step off and just take a deep.
Breath that's WHAT i. Do but, YEAH i, MEAN i
know it sounds silly to say, this but you, know
one of the hardest, parts the hardest part of the
job is some of the DECISIONS i have to. Make
they are they can be really. Tough some are easier than,
others because every decision THAT i make is affecting somebody's,
(01:27:07):
life whether it's a criminal case or a civil. Case
and that's that's, huge you. Know so that's WHY i
take every DECISION i make very. SERIOUSLY i put thought into,
it and you, know and follow the oath THAT i.
Speaker 1 (01:27:22):
Took, yeah the repercussions are. Profound the individual who may
or may not be going to, jail the family members
that love that, individual regardless of what they may have.
Done you, know they may have. Anger we've seen that
most recently with the Whole hinting. Situation some people come completely.
Unglued so there's that. Tragedy there's a tragedy surrounding the
victim and their families and the need for accountability and
(01:27:43):
justice for. Them and then there's society at, large and
most notably when it comes to bond. Hearing this has
to be rather. Difficult the person has yet to be,
convicted and this is the argument you get from the,
Left wait a, second we're innocent until proven, guilty and
yet you're going to hold this per person in jail
unless they can cough up whatever amount of money or
(01:28:04):
no bond at, all because they represent such a profound
threat to. Society that's the judgment you have to make
as a, judge and that cannot be.
Speaker 3 (01:28:11):
EASY i.
Speaker 4 (01:28:12):
AGREE i think setting bond is really. Hard but you,
know under the, law there are certain factors that we
are to, consider AND i consider those each, time and
one of those factors is the safety of the, peuity
the history of the, defendant the serious nature of the,
charges and among other, things AND i consider all those
WHEN i make my.
Speaker 1 (01:28:29):
Decision and making that, decision, notably you'll have let's say a.
Recidivus they got a long, record including maybe some violence
and things of. That, okay that's an easy. One the
crime that they're charged with in the court again not
yet been proven guilty beyond a reasonable. Doubt but do
you look at the evidence that's been presented to, you,
like for, example the grand jury, conclusions or what the
(01:28:52):
officers have by, way or what the prosecutors have by
way of the evidence they plan on presenting at the criminal.
Trial does that have a bearing on that bond.
Speaker 4 (01:29:00):
Decision, yeah SO i think the strength of the evidence
is one of the. Factors and you, know at every bond,
hearing the state is, there the, prosecutor so OBVIOUSLY i
listen to what the state has, offered what the defendant has,
Offer if there is a victim, PRESENT i listen to
what they have to, say if there's a police, officer
and THEN i just ticket all under consideration and do
(01:29:23):
WHAT i think is the right.
Speaker 1 (01:29:24):
Thing do what you think is the right. Thing and
if you're springing from you, know concern about the population,
generally and that the you, know the the the legs
of the criminal justice system are all, there AND i
think you're working off of the right set of. Principles
it JUST i get the, impression And i'm not asking
you to see if you had a similar impression that
some judges are so politically charged in their decision. Making
(01:29:49):
they walk in with this general, presumption not treating every case,
individually but general presumption that society is the fault or
the reason that this defendant is at front of, me
AND i can't get a high bond on, them OR
i can't charge them heavily after conviction beyond a reasonable,
doubt because this poor individual is a victim of. Society
(01:30:10):
ignore the victim of the crime that this person, committed
but society generally speaking being as corrupt as it. Is
So i'm going to treat them. Lightly that to, me
corrupts the criminal justice.
Speaker 6 (01:30:20):
System.
Speaker 4 (01:30:22):
Yeah and LIKE i said, BEFORE i can only control
what goes on in my. Courtroom AND, i LIKE i,
SAID i took an oath fall law and that's WHAT i.
Speaker 1 (01:30:32):
Do seven forty six will continue one more With Judge
leah Dent, locker who you can stick around plus after
the top of their, news have some time to. Talk
phone calls included In jay RE krc the talk station
seven fifty ONE ify Five kerr see talk Station Brian
thomas enjoying my conversation an opportunity to Meet Judge leah Dank,
(01:30:53):
locker a play by governor Of. Wine last year In
march took it over A Judge Megan shanahan's seats since
she was elected The House Supreme court doing an ad
morble job thus, far she like to retain the. Seat
she'll be on the ballot This. November get in touch
with You judicial, elections find out who's on the, ballot
find out who's tough on, crime and who understands the
justice system generally and sounds to me from early my first,
(01:31:13):
conversation whether she's got a great handle on all. That
every case treated, individually and of course the community is
factored into the decision making when it comes to both
bond hearings and. Sentencing we have to remember the victims,
families but also takingto consideration the obvious ripple effect criminal
activity invites them on so many people and over to,
(01:31:36):
TRENDS i asked you off, air, judge AND i could
have guessed, it but it comes as no. Shock drugs
seem to be the big. Problem the reason people end
up in the criminal justice system is some connection with.
Speaker 4 (01:31:48):
Drugs, YEAH i would say the majority of the cases
on my docket involved, drugs whether it's simple possession or
because of a drug. Problem you then commit other crimes
and then there is mental health you, know issues mixed
in with that as. Well.
Speaker 1 (01:32:04):
YEAH i, MEAN i think anybody knows anything about drug.
Addiction in the use of, drugs a lot of people
are self medicating for an underlying mental health. PROBLEM i,
mean even if something is problematic or as minimal as general.
Anxiety you, know people like to booze it up to
deal with. That, well you got some people with big
time mental, challenges psychosis and things of, that and they're
(01:32:27):
going for fentanyl and a lot of other hard drugs
to sort of cope with their mental. Illness can you
refer someone in your courtroom over to the mental health
court because it's two separate courts, downtown.
Speaker 4 (01:32:38):
Correct so there are some judges on our court that
have mental health court, dockets so they're still a common
place judge like, me but they do have a specialty.
Speaker 8 (01:32:47):
DOCKET i.
Speaker 4 (01:32:47):
See so, yeah so sometimes they will be evaluated for
mental health, court and if it's, appropriate then we can
refer them to that judge and they'll be on that
docket and see their case through mental health.
Speaker 7 (01:32:59):
Court all.
Speaker 1 (01:33:00):
Right, well and then of course the, drugs the property
crimes directly related to, it and even sometimes the, violence
which IS i don't understand how anybody could drive by
a group of people and just unload their fully automatic
glock switch glock into a. Crowd is That i'm not
sure if you have any inside information on, that but
(01:33:20):
that happens so seemingly. Frequently is that gang related activity
that has a connection with? Drugs is that what we're seeing?
Speaker 4 (01:33:27):
THERE i don't, KNOW i think, YEAH i you, KNOW
i dealt with a lot of those cases as a.
PROSECUTOR i DON'T i think the police would be able to. More,
sorry that's, okay.
Speaker 1 (01:33:42):
Asking Because i'm. Curious i'm curious a bunch of other
people who are. Curious are you getting the resources you?
Need as you have sat on the bench now for
coming up on a, year you feel like that you
have adequate?
Speaker 4 (01:33:54):
RESOURCES i, Do, YEAH I i. Do you, know you
go through a lot of training through with The Supreme.
COURT i also have, colleagues you, know on the, bench
other judges that have welcomed, me and PEOPLE i can you,
know go to and ask. Questions and you, KNOW i
(01:34:14):
am familiar with a lot of the, attorneys you, know
BECAUSE i practiced in the court room for almost thirteen
years before taking the. Bench so, YEAH i do feel
LIKE i have enough.
Speaker 1 (01:34:23):
Resources, well we hope you stay on the. Bench november
is the big election coming, up and it's going to
be here before you know. It, folks take care of
in mind your. Judges gop judges Dot. COM i believe
was one of the websites that used to do. That
but we'll Have judged Ink locker on now and it several.
Times hopefully before the election Of, november she'll have her
(01:34:44):
website up and running in short. Order she's working on
solidifying that right. Now SO i figured in a matter
of a very short period of, time maybe within a
week or, two perhaps your site will be up and
we'll of course bring that up so you can check
out the resource and maybe help out a campaign a little.
Bit to run for, office of, course needs a little
bit of, assistance SO i think she's a worthy person
(01:35:04):
for that. Assistance judged Ink, locker it's been a real
pleasure having you in studio. TODAY i appreciate your efforts
in coming down AND i hope we will talk between Now.
Speaker 4 (01:35:11):
November, no thank you so much once, again thank you
for this. OPPORTUNITY i really really appreciate. It i'm honored
to be. Here thanks for inviting, me AND i do
HOPE i can come again in the.
Speaker 1 (01:35:19):
Future you will listen, Up, bert the offer is going
to be. Extended you don't hear from her on this
fifty five Care See morning show between Now. November that's
cause she, REFUSED i doubt that's going to. Happen he
give me a. Favorite tell your dad.
Speaker 4 (01:35:31):
HIGH i will, thanks thank, YOU i have a great.
Speaker 1 (01:35:33):
Day after the top of The, arready it's kind a
half hour to talk before we get TO i hurt.
Me the aviation Expert jay Ratt, loft maybe something's in
the back your hey'll fine the fifty five KR cd
Talk station One thomas wishing her in the very. Area Happy.
Friday oh you just Enjoy thursdays, because of COURSE i hurt.
(01:35:53):
Me aviation Expert jay Rat look joining the show at eight.
Thirty got a bunch of fun topics talk about With
jay hitting a guy that got locked into the baggage
compartment of an. Airplane the passengers hurt him bagging out
the leve me, all, oh, yeah it's one of the
flight crew. Anyway good Having Congressman Warren davidson on earlier
(01:36:14):
this morning about The ice, situation the shooting that. Happened
it's got to really all up in, arms and of
course the impending perhaps government shut, down which Is january
thirtieth fast approachingim you didn't get a chance to listen
To Congressman davidson fifty FIVE krc dot. Com of course
my conversation With judge Dink, locker and then YESTERDAY i
loved When congressman mass he is preceded By Judging politano
(01:36:38):
AND i didn't Ask, davidson And i'm so sorry BECAUSE
i meant to about The epstein files and where he
was on. That that really irks. Me it also, Works,
judge it works, MASSIVE i suppose To politana to a certain.
Degree it's a law, man the most bipartisan passage you
have ever seen in Your lifeti'm only one person voted
against this disclosing These epstein. Files the date specific was
(01:37:02):
as long passed several weeks ago was the. Deadline and
we find out they've got literally millions of documents behind
the scenes that have not yet been reviewed and have
not been, produced even though under law they were ordered
to do. So so they're ignoring the law. Essentially so, criticism,
yes against members of The trump. Administration, Sorry i'm not
(01:37:22):
quite sure why they didn't do their. Job i'm not
quite sure why they won't produce the documents in violation
of the. Law when will we get to see? Them
does anybody else have this insane curiosity THAT i have
again going back To Donald, trump sorry for my Always
trump fans out. There he ran on producing him and
as soon as he gets, elected he, says then there's
(01:37:44):
nothing to see. There i'm. Sorry that just does not
wash with, me wouldn't wash with. Anybody If Joe biden
had done, that will be screaming like the end of
the world was. Coming So i'm On massy's side on that.
ONE i think again the politano chimed in that, also
the big picture with jackathered in from, yesterday the price
of purity and affordability, rhetoric that's what The democrats are lying.
(01:38:06):
On talked about that With donald And neil From americans
For prosperity, yesterday and it's all a giant. LIE i,
mean my quick boiled down point, was you, know no
one can control the price of eggs if you've got
the bird, flu, right if chickens, die they don't lay,
eggs and therefore these supply of eggs goes. Down. Wow
SO i was like economics one on, One, Thomas, right
when there's a limited supply of eggs and everybody still wants,
(01:38:28):
them the price goes. Up that's what happened with the
eight trillion dollars of bide administration pumped into the. Economy
right was where all the businesses? Open were they producing
goods and? SERVICES i, mean for, example we're all the
meat packers there slicing up cuts of beef and putting.
Out we all HAD covid. Lockdown oh my, god you
got to be ten feet. Apart we're all gonna. Die
your business is not allowed to be. Open and then
(01:38:48):
there was a lot of people flushed with cash because
of the federal government's infusion of all this borrowed cash
into the. Economy where DO i buy my? Stuff, well
the shelves are kind of. Empty we're having a production
problem because these government amy act and told us we
can't go to. Work inflation kicks in demand has gone
up beyond the norm because people had additional money from
(01:39:11):
the federal government to, spend and yet the supply went.
Down welcome to eight percent. Inflation thank, You Joe. Biden
but then there's the nefarious reality that most of what
we are experiencing by way of affordability problems is the
damn government's. Fault should it Take i'll go back to
my favorite, topic energy, policy getting a nuclear reactor? Online
(01:39:33):
should it take fifteen or twenty years and literally billions
of dollars to get a reactor. Online, no it's the regulatory,
burden a nightmare that is put in place that prevents
it from happening quickly or quicker and more. Efficiently and
it's that regulatory burden that puts the insane additional dollars
to get a project like that off the. Ground it's
(01:39:56):
the regulatory burden that makes you pay several hundred dollars
more or for a dishwasher or some appliance in the
name of keeping a little bit of carbon out of the. Atmosphere,
oh it'll result in energy. Savings how much energy? Savings, oh,
well you know it'll save you twenty dollars over the
course of a. Year, yeah but it's a two hundred
dollars increase over the price of this thing that you're
forcing manufacturers to put on the market in the name
(01:40:18):
of getting carbon dioxide out of the. World it's going
to take me how many years to get back that?
Money more? Expensive on and on and. On AND i
always like to, say engage in the thought. Exercise if
you didn't believe that plant food was dangerous to the,
world how much less expensive would things. Be, yeah the
(01:40:42):
answer is a. Lot let's see What bobby's. Got, Bobby
welcome to the fifty Five Casey Morning show and A
Happy Friday eve to.
Speaker 2 (01:40:47):
You good, morning my. Friend happy Handicap thursday to you Handicap. Thursday, well,
yeah we got a handicap to Shootings.
Speaker 1 (01:40:58):
Cincinnati it's the odds maker you're. Playing i'll go back
and reveal my. Age you're Doing jimmy The. Greek you're
Doing vegas odds on the number of. Shootings that's the
handicapping you're talking. About, Well i'm Sure i'm not the
only person who who that probably flew over their. Head
so on behalf of all those who didn't quite get
what he was talking. About there you, go and so
(01:41:20):
what what what are you predicting for the weekend here
in the Greater cincinnati?
Speaker 5 (01:41:24):
Area?
Speaker 1 (01:41:24):
Bobby are you just limiting your prediction To cincinnati geographs.
Speaker 2 (01:41:28):
The cincinnati metropolitan. Area we're putting it at three and.
Speaker 1 (01:41:32):
A half three and a, Half, OKAY i hope you're too.
HIGH i would like to see fewer people shot or
otherwise killed in the. City just as a matter of,
princes we.
Speaker 2 (01:41:41):
Just do shooting incidents it's what it. Is we have
some of the best healthcare facilities in the country, here
so we just do it on just.
Speaker 1 (01:41:50):
Shootings, yeah you might not want to go there for
your normal emergency room, visit but you, see medical center
apparently is the leader in trauma around here in the
Greater cincinnati area because they have so much experience dealing
with gunshot.
Speaker 2 (01:42:02):
Wounds, ALSO i forgot to mention it. Too we got
some NEW t shirts out, also if you like one
that's uh kind of they're. Nice it says make batons great.
Speaker 1 (01:42:14):
Again, okay, okay say make batons great.
Speaker 2 (01:42:22):
Again, oh, Yes baton's great. Again as in the law
enforcement issues we, have just Make baton's great.
Speaker 1 (01:42:29):
Again so as in THE pr twenty four that they
used to, Carry, yes, sir all, right that's that aircraft
grade a little bitum foil night stick that the cops were.
Issued after the night sticks were taken out of, commission
they had that more efficient with the handle on, it
and then now they no longer use. Those so you
think that'll be an effective means of improving law, Enforcement, Bobby.
Speaker 6 (01:42:49):
They're a visual.
Speaker 2 (01:42:50):
Improvement.
Speaker 1 (01:42:51):
Visual, ah it's the optics that are. Important, Okay, well
in these crazy times we live. IN i think that
would just provide one more vehicle for the left pull
their hair. Out oh my, GOD i need a ball
in a fetal. POSITION i see an officer with A
pr twenty. Four i've been.
Speaker 2 (01:43:06):
Threatened i've got a question for. You you're aroundabout, man
why can't we control the issues at The Minneapolis so
why don't they just bring out those water cannons and
spray a little? Bit that solved the whole.
Speaker 1 (01:43:20):
Problem, well you don't want to give them fuel for their,
fire They, Bobby you got to remember these Are. Marxists
this is a. Playbook they go. By their goal is
and they're trying to work on it right. Now and
if you buy into, it and you're out protesting, ice
enforcing the law and removing criminals from our, neighborhoods then
you're part of the. Problem they love the idea of the,
(01:43:43):
state through its law enforcement, agents oppressing the. People look
At George, floyd not exactly the martyr they wanted him to.
Be they wanted this purely innocent black man who dies
at the hands of the police to be purely, innocent so
they had to cover over. That but look at all
the hell that was broken, loose that broke loose After George,
floyd three forms of holy. Hell same thing with THIS ice.
(01:44:05):
Incident THE ice raids are police. Activity, now it's all.
Lawful they keep forgetting to point out that the law
does ALLOW ice to conduct its federal. Operations they're engaging
in law, Enforcement they're enforcing immigration. Law the laws are
on the. Books you want to change the, system change the.
Laws the luck people who will make the law the
way you want. It but they love it when you
(01:44:25):
act violently toward them because they can show it the viral.
Videos look at the, police the jack booted, thugs look
at These nazi. Enforcers and then somewhere within any statement
along those, Lines Donald trump's name will show. Up but
water cannoning the general, crowd all the people as opposed
to the one. GUY i love the video that went.
Viral this one protester is literally two inches away from
(01:44:48):
This ice officer's, face scream and bloody murder at him
and just, demanding what are you gonna? Do what are
you gonna? Do THE ice officer just casually reaches, over
grabs his pepper spray from his, vest sprays him one quick,
spritz puts it, back remained, calm didn't, move and obviously
the protester went away screaming at the top of his,
(01:45:09):
lungs crying about how he had been. Blinded that guy
was interfering with law enforcement doing his. Business could he
have gotten a, ticket, Maybe but since he was being
threatening and being threatening to the police, officer the officer
used a less lethal form to repel the otherwise illegal.
Activity game a dose of pepper. Spray you learn your.
(01:45:31):
Lesson not quite sure that is going to inure to
the protester's benefit given the, circumstances and everyone looking at that, going,
yeah he got what he. Deserved but when you're generally
treating a collective of people with one fell swoop action
like using a water, cannon this is the kind of
thing the left relishes in. There it is there's the oppressive,
(01:45:52):
state and then you get some people buying into that
and hopefully in their mind the numbers. Grow this is
what they were hoping, for were The vietnam protesters in the? Crackdown,
Yeah Kent state was not a great thing. Optically it
was an oppressive thing that the law enforcement or The
National guard. Did they shot protesters which in hindsight you, think,
(01:46:18):
well that sounds like something The iranians would. Do so
we don't want necessarily protesters being shot when they're not
engaging in criminal. Activity if they're threatening the very life
of the, officer though the officers entitled to defend him
or herself with deadly. Force that, again Like George, floyd
(01:46:39):
this good woman who was trying to drive the officer
over not exactly the ideal martyr for the leftist cause
they want someone, pure completely. Innocent and when you're doing
this again broadbrush, activities you tend to find a lot
of people who could get caught up in, that including
say someone in the media who is out in the
middle of that crowd you're water, canning that gets hit
(01:47:00):
with water canon perhaps even gets. Injured Thoughtful analysis eight
seventeen fifty FIVE Krcd talk, Station feel free to call

(01:47:21):
KERRC De talk. Station very Happy. FRIDAY i heard me
the aviation next For Jay rattliff coming up. Next thank
god For jay forty. Five parasee dot com for podcasts
when you can't listen live real quick. Here uh kind of,
connected at LEAST i hope they never get. Connected BUT
i got a little alarmed WHEN i had one set
of articles talking About iran Threatening Donald trump with assassination
(01:47:46):
earlier this. Week issued A U i guess it was
yesterday broadcast the picture Of Donald trump during the twenty
twenty Four Butler rally assassination attempt with the words quote this,
time it will not miss the target close. Quote now
they've Threatened Donald trump's life. Before so it reminds me,
of you, know our unilateral military action against other foreign
(01:48:06):
lands without the declaration of war or otherwise authorization to
use the military. Force you, know you can get away
with it up to a certain point when the world
kind of levels out the playing field in terms of
who has what military instruments weapons, nukes for, example and who.
Doesn't but the threats there, generally and there was some
(01:48:27):
widely circulated reports yesterday That trump announced That iran has
stopped killing the protesters of, Course Donald trump had issued
the line in the sand and called for sanctions twenty
five percent sanctions on anybody that is dealing economically With.
Iran that seems to be a cloud of war. Reality
have they stopped killing the protesters or? Not will there
be military activity or? Not saw an article saying we
(01:48:50):
don't have sufficient resources there militarily yet to handle the.
Situation we've got a lot of military bases that need
to you, know lock down or otherwise prepare for being
a act Because iron has promised or threatened that as.
Well so state of flux, there but pivoting over with
regard to the death, threat a little worried ABOUT. Jd,
vance And i'm worried about his. Security Journalist james O'Keefe added,
(01:49:14):
again he's the investigative journalist that catches people in prominent
positions admitting on the, record on hidden camera to all
the nefarious activities that they're up. To so we got
a new one. Here so it's kind of like a.
Honeypot Joe tom S, scotto who became a citizen in twenty,
(01:49:39):
eighteen Faned Joe. Biden apparently this guy's a Secret service
agent assigned To Vice president Jd vance's security, detail and
he leaked to one of the O'Keefe investigators details ABOUT
Jd vance's travel plans and other well confidential activities which
could put Jd vance's life in. Peril ascotto apparently catfished
(01:50:03):
by the undercover female. Reporter he met her on the
dating App, tender so they set him. Up footy shows
this guy spilling the beans about his job to the
reporter during a dinner date on. Film he later texted
her photos of sensitive locations as well as details About
vance's travel, plans telling her that On december twenty, sixth
(01:50:26):
The Vice president would be In ohio for four or
five days before going To Florida. Center he a photograph
Of Air force To at one, point apparently O'Keefe, said
typically they give the government a dare two to respond
to the. Report they let the government no ahead of.
Time they got this breaking report in this. Time he
worked with The Secret service and agreed to redact some
(01:50:46):
of the information captured by this reporter before releasing it
to the public so it wouldn't compromise His Jade vance's.
Security that's a good. Thing Oddly's Secret Service deputy Director Matthew,
quinn responding To keith's, reporting, said we at The Secret
service have no tolerance for any behavior could pentionually compromise a,
safety privacy or trust for. Protectees right incident under, investigation
(01:51:09):
employee involves been placed on administratively with his clearance suspended
and access to agency facilities and systems revoked. Good he
also issued an internal memo this This quinn guy did
complaining about O'Keefe's, tactics AND i thought this was rather.
Puzzling quinn, said over the past several, months the agency
employee was deliberately targeted and manipulated by a citizen journalism
(01:51:33):
media organization that misrepresented itself in an effort to get
close to the employee and to expose sensitive. Information you're
damn right they. Did she was a woman who claimed
being on the. Prow she hit this guy up knowing
he's A Secret service. Agent he took the, bait and
then he turned over information to her that he shouldn't.
Have quinn, said this is the second time in less
(01:51:56):
than a year that our personnel have been subjected to
this same deception. Tactic, sadly in this, instance the employee
failed to meet the standards demanded of this agency and
engaged in conduct that runs counter to our, values our
policies in the training we. Provide, well you know, what
here's a red. Flag why don't you do your own
cat fishing? Operation Secret. Service if you are worried about
(01:52:18):
your employees handing over sensitive information because they can't say
no to a woman who's hitting on, them then maybe
you should make sure that the policies are in. Place, hey,
listen some woman hits on, you or in the case
of a Female Secret service, agent guy or even a.
Girl whatever your proclivities, are be. Careful there are o'keefs
in the. World but then, again there are also members
(01:52:39):
working for The ayatola and The iranians who might want
to know WHERE. Jd vans Or Donald trump. Is you
don't want to go telling people in advance where they're gonna.
Be sounds like a simple, rule doesn't. IT a twenty
seven fifty FIVE KRC de talk Station Jay ratliff coming up.
Next hope you can stick around fifty FIVE krc the
(01:52:59):
simply fIF you FIVE carsd talk station a time. Next
hell enjoy sometimes some levity but also interesting conversation With
iHeartMedia aviation Expert Jay. Rattliff, Jay welcome back to the
fifty FIVE Krce Morning. Show my friend is always great
having you on the.
Speaker 6 (01:53:13):
Show that's good to be, here, BROTHER.
Speaker 1 (01:53:17):
I got a kick out of. It this is no.
Curveball you got a great list of topics to talk.
About but headline from The Wall Street, Journal Dan siel,
reporting dateline the, fourteenth the futile campaign to get people
to dress better on. Planes sub. Captain THE us government
thinks onboard behavior will improve if passengers ditch the. Pajamas
(01:53:39):
good luck with.
Speaker 9 (01:53:39):
That, well you, know there is some there are studies
that suggest for people that work at, home if they
get up and go through the same regiment of getting themselves,
ready getting shade cleaned, up ready to, go put on
their professional, tire then go to their, office that even
though they're working at, home they've got that, mindset they're
(01:54:01):
in that business mode when you're working in your pajamas or,
shortes whatever might happen to. Be you, know some people
think that that's kind of a relaxed setting that kind
of leads to some relaxed. Results you, know you really don't,
know but, look there's no way that we're ever going
to legislate or change the behavior of. People and you
know that so, Well, Brian you've talked about it for
(01:54:22):
only your entire life about you can have any rule
law on the, book it's not going to dictate how
people act and.
Speaker 6 (01:54:28):
Respond and sadly that's the.
Speaker 9 (01:54:30):
Case if if we could come up with a nice,
incentive you, know like the best address gets a free
ticket here. THERE i, mean you, know maybe you could
entice people to consider, it but unless you give them
something in, returns we're just not going to do.
Speaker 1 (01:54:43):
It, Yeah i've heard people lax. CULTIC i remember the
days when men wore suits and ties wherever they. Went
you look at a ball, game people wore suits and
size well you know, what as like the only set
of clothes they. Owned things were really tight back. Then
you didn't have five suits to choose from one every.
Day you wore the same day of thing every. Day
so moving, on if you stay far enough away from them, visually,
yeah look, Great but the closer you, got the less
(01:55:06):
of a good idea that was, Anyway, Jay.
Speaker 9 (01:55:08):
In the early, Days, Brian american Airlines i'm talking about
like the thirties would pick you up in a limousine
take you to the airport just because you had a
reservation one of their.
Speaker 6 (01:55:16):
Flights wouldn't that be?
Speaker 1 (01:55:17):
Cool you were among the HOLY peloi back, then if
you could afford an airline. Ticket, yeah, Anyhow delta.
Speaker 6 (01:55:24):
With a thirty chance of something going?
Speaker 1 (01:55:26):
Wrong, yeah oh, god yeah that's. RIGHT i. Forgot air
safety was not up the snuff back. Then computer nowhere
near no ils than those. Places.
Speaker 9 (01:55:36):
Brian the flight attends back then had to be, nurses
did they?
Speaker 1 (01:55:39):
Really? YEP i see that makes perfect.
Speaker 9 (01:55:42):
Sense and when you see how those planes were put,
together it makes an incredible.
Speaker 1 (01:55:47):
Sense three. Eyes assuming the flight attendants, survived all, RIGHT
i have to sign.
Speaker 9 (01:55:54):
A medical form BEFORE i get. On, yeah it's a
medical or leaves just engaged.
Speaker 1 (01:55:57):
That flavor a Liability. Delta Delta AIRLINES ceo not happy
With Donald trump's credit card interest rate cap does sound
like a rather democrat kind of, idea capping what corporations are. Doing,
YEAH i don't.
Speaker 9 (01:56:11):
Like it, Either but you, Know delta just reported record
profits more than a billion dollars for a single. Quarter and,
look you AND i both know that wasn't made by
us flying back and forth At grandma's. House much of
that revenue is driven by those credit card agreements that
they have that For delta's tied into their skymiles friaking flyer.
Program and that's when THE ceo Of delta At, bastian
(01:56:32):
we're reacting To President trump's mentioning of capping interest.
Speaker 6 (01:56:35):
Rates and credit, cards saying, oh, no, no.
Speaker 9 (01:56:36):
No that would be bad for the, economy is what
Mad bastian.
Speaker 6 (01:56:42):
Said.
Speaker 9 (01:56:42):
Brian when you consider that not a single major airline
would have been profitable in the year twenty twenty four
without the income from those credit card, partnerships you recognize
just how tied into the airliness profits those credit cards agreements.
Are and it's just amazing in fact that The delta
(01:57:03):
employees are so happy because you AND i may talk
about this, before but On Valentine's day is the day
every year That, delta when they've got a, profit they
share that with their employees through a profit sharing. Program
AND i believe they're going to be getting four four
and a half five weeks of pay as a bonus
thank you On Valentine. Iday so that's because of the
profits that were driven again back to these credit card.
Speaker 1 (01:57:26):
Arrangements, wow that's a pretty nice thank you for showing.
Up very nice thank.
Speaker 9 (01:57:33):
You although nowhere billions of dollars in profit sharing.
Speaker 1 (01:57:36):
Show nowhere near the bonus levels That Joe strecker gets every.
Year because we'll bring, back we're going to be talking
a little bit About boeing gets some more bad. News
they were aware of a possible defect that led to a.
Crash that sounds. Familiar, plus get the hell out of
the cargo apartment compartment before the plane takes. Off got
that in a hold up more With Jay ratlift don't go,
(01:57:58):
Away i'd be right.
Speaker 5 (01:57:58):
Back fifty FIVE Karc.
Speaker 1 (01:58:02):
Steve perrins COD krc the talk. Station we've never been
in a cockpit, Before Jay ratliffe has HE'S i. Heard
media aviation expert joins this program Every thursday beginning at
eight thirty for a few segments on of, course matters
related to air and air travel and of, course potential legal.
Liability boeing is always having. Problems you bring that up
all the, time and, UH i guess they're, well are
(01:58:24):
they implicated in This louisville plane? CRASH i know we
have an update from THE ntsb on this. One Jay.
Ratliffe what's the.
Speaker 9 (01:58:30):
Story, Yeah and within that update From National Transportation Safety Board,
brian they found a service letter That boeing sent to
airlines On february, seventh twenty. Eleven, now all those years,
ago all those years, Ago boeing told airlines that the
company was to where a four previous bearing race that's a,
(01:58:51):
part but bearing race failures on three different. Airplanes Now
boeing has seen these fractures of the part and actually
with this part splitting in two and moving out of.
Place now keep in mind that this specific piece helps
to hold the engines in place on the.
Speaker 6 (01:59:07):
Wing. Boeing. Yeah boeing went.
Speaker 9 (01:59:10):
On to say to the airlines that their review of
that bearing failure and their words would not quote would
not result in a safety flight flight condition in the.
Quote so, obviously the deaths of fifteen people In louisville
In november certainly suggests. Otherwise but, look let's keep in
mind that The Federal Aviation administration was completely aware of all,
(01:59:30):
this and they could have called easily for airlines to
replace or increase the inspection rate of those questions or
those parts in. Question so but they elected not to do.
So based in part On boeing's, position and it could
be also based on the fact that airlines were pushing back, saying,
(01:59:50):
look it would take a lot of time and money
to pull these airplanes out of service dig the end
of this, part to find out and test, it to
see if these parts are still. Good but you, know
if it's true that safety is our number one, priority
and every airline says, that AND i laugh every time
they do because it's not the, truth then there would
have been no. Question the same way when The Boeing
(02:00:12):
max crashes were, happening the easiest thing to do For
Southwest delta or Not Delta United American southwest was to
pull the few and all they had was a few
of Those Boeing max airplanes out of service until they
found out what was going. On it represented like less
than five percent of their, fleet and the airlines opted
not to do, it even when THE fa at the
(02:00:33):
time wasn't going to ground that. Airplane but here again
we've got a situation Of boeing be more aware of,
something communicating that to the airlines and trying to downplay,
it and sadly we had a loss of, life horrific
loss of life In.
Speaker 1 (02:00:47):
Louisville obviously it's been, SUGGESTED i think Of hollywood movies
that you, know manufacturers will do a cost benefit. Analysis,
well of the million widgets we've got in the, world
we found out this defect may result in five p
people dying to replace it or fix the. Widge it's
going to cost US x millions of. Dollars if we
just ignore it and pay off the individual, claim we're
going to be a lot better off. Financially do you
(02:01:09):
think that type of analysis was actually done when they
decided not to go down the road of inspecting these particular. Parts,
man we may get one fall out of the, sky
but in the final, analysis it'll cost us a hell
of a lot more to stay up on top of
this and ahead of.
Speaker 9 (02:01:21):
TIME i totally believe, that AND i hate to say,
that but when you look at the history of recommendations
made by The National Transfertation Safety board following every accident
or near, accident they'll give The Federal Aviation ADMINISTRATION bran
a list ten fifteen to twenty different items that they, said,
hey we identified these as either potential contributing causes or
(02:01:42):
direct contributing causes to this, accident which resulted in a
loss of, life and here's our recommendations to pix it
and if the airlines then many times we'll push back
on some of those recommendations saying, no that would cost
too much, money blah blah blah blah. Blah and only a,
few if, any of those recommendations.
Speaker 6 (02:01:59):
Are ever carried.
Speaker 9 (02:02:00):
Forward and it's maddening when you think about, it because
the NTSB's higher purpose is to investigate the accident internet,
accident come up with the cause or contributing. Causes many
times there's far more than just one direct. Cause but
then they list those recommendations on how we can make aviation.
Safer and the reason that we've enjoyed the safest air
(02:02:22):
era of commercial jet travel leading up to this year
or last year with The january plane crash IN dc
and then The alaskan plane crash a month, later was
because of the fact that we've made such great strides and,
safety both in the type of equipment that's use on
board an airplane to make sure it's not it's fire,
retardant making sure certain seats and certain things are manufactured
(02:02:46):
in such a way that could better withstand a crash
and protect the people that are inside an airplane in
the event something you, know horrific, happens and it's all
because of those. RECOMMENDATIONS i remember The Common air, crash
or The cincinnati crash with With Air canada back in
the early eighties that caught on fire and had land At.
Cincinnati The National Transportation Safety BOARD i think came out
(02:03:08):
with twenty some, recommendations and one of them was to
have those lights along the floor that would lead you
to an exit in the event that the cabin was
filled with, smoke you got, disoriented didn't know which way to.
Go that was one of the many recommendations made by
THE ntsb as a direct result of That Air canada
crash that we had here In. Cincinnati so the entire
(02:03:32):
thing is set up to try to make things. Safer
and that's one of the things that just bothers me
to no end when there's pushback on some of these
obvious safety related issues being put In and to your point,
exactly and that's the REASON i love talking to, you
because you add that liability side to the discussion and
they say the exact same. Thing that's like airlines being told,
(02:03:56):
look instead of having a black box on an. Airplane
we could put up a component on there that would
be automatically transmitting all the black box data from the
airplane to a central, spot so that if an airplane
crashed At, see we didn't have to go looking for
the black. Boxes we knew exactly what. Happened the problem
is the cost per aircraft is more than one hundred thousand,
(02:04:16):
dollars and when you recognize most crashes happen on takeoff
and landing over land near an, airport the thought, is
why would we spend one hundred grand per, airplane tens
of millions of dollars for something that would only be
used in a small percentage of the of the. Accident
so it's an unfortunate. Discussion but once again you're spot.
Speaker 1 (02:04:35):
ON i appreciate. That, jay we're going to come. Up
don't get locked in the cargo. Compartment i'm a little
worried about this other. TOPIC tsa has increased the number
of airports with biometric pre check scanning that more With
Jay rylov one more here at fifty FIVE k see
the talk. Stations stick around fifty Five the talk station is.
Speaker 3 (02:04:53):
Life insurance part of Your New year's. Resolution listen if
you're young and.
Speaker 1 (02:04:56):
Healthy it's simple and any old agent can get it.
Done but if fifty to sixty years old with it
to say it is eight forty, nine it's fifty FIVE
KRC detok, station it's iHeartMedia aviation Expert Jay Rat jay
(02:05:16):
got a few more topics here we can try to
cram in. THERE i, immediately of, course thought of. You
any aviation TOPIC i run across in my day to
day preparation for the, show it's obviously. YOU i think
about this. ONE i thought was a kind of, comical
although it would freak me out IF i was the
employee that got locked in the cargo compartment on a
plane that was ready to take. Off, yeah and it.
Speaker 9 (02:05:36):
Happens it's happened several. Times but this was Near canada
flight Leaving. Vancouver they pushed back from the. Gate they're
taxing for takeoff when all of a, sudden passengers start
hearing this loud thump on the floor from, underneath and
they notify the flight, attendants and flight attentions obviously, conclude,
look we've got somebody in the cargo hold underneath, this
(02:05:57):
and we're taxing for. Takeoff, now worst case scenario had
the plane taken off that the forward of the forward
cargo compartment is. Pressurized the person would not have been
in any immediate danger unless there was turbulence and bags
are flying and something happens like. That we've had people
that that's happened and they get to the next city
and you.
Speaker 6 (02:06:16):
Know out they.
Speaker 9 (02:06:17):
Pop but in this, case you're still on the. Ground
so the crew decided to. Stop they turned back to the,
gate and it's a security issue as, well because you
don't know if if it's a stoleway and how they
got on the, plane and so you've got security, involved
and it's a. Process so they get back and they pop,
it and sure enough they find out that the person
in there was an. Employee and the delay was such
(02:06:39):
that the crew actually timed out so they couldn't continue the.
Flight after that, delay they had of another crew come
in and take care of. Them so it really created a.
Problem the QUESTION i keep getting, Is, jay how in
the world would that. Happen, well when you're on the
ground working the, ramp it's a very loud. Environment people
are wearing the ear suppression headphones and things over the
(02:07:00):
so you don't hear a lot and the cargo, compartment
many times twenty thirty feet, deep and you've got bags
piled up all over the, place and occasionally a passengeral
side not to, fly and you grab somebody and say
find this bag because the bag can't fly without the.
Person so in they, go and it may be totally
the other ramp agents may be totally unaware of it
that you've got somebody in, there so before they close,
(02:07:22):
it they might kind of give it a cursory. Glance,
okay nobody's in, there turn the light, out drop the,
door and off they. Go and of, course if you're
buried in the bags trying to find, something by the
time you get back to the, door nobody's going to hear,
you and then off it. Goes there's no direct way
for the agents to communicate with the cockpit that, Hey
i'm still in. Here so, yeah it was a it
(02:07:42):
was a scary situation for the. Individual we've had some
agents get up there and they're waiting for additional bags to,
arrive they fall asleep and.
Speaker 6 (02:07:50):
They up in another.
Speaker 9 (02:07:51):
City oh, yeah, yeah you can google. It there's been
eight or ten instances over the last ten. YEARS i
can think of where we've talked about it where agents
have got up there and gotten in there and the
door's been shut quickly and that plane goes it takes.
Speaker 1 (02:08:06):
Off unlike the idiots who get into the landing gear
area where they're exposed with no pressurization in sub zero.
Temperatures that's not the case.
Speaker 6 (02:08:15):
In The United.
Speaker 1 (02:08:16):
Space that limitage compartment, though is. IT i mean, no, no,
no it's.
Speaker 9 (02:08:20):
Pressure keep in mind behind the wing on some of the,
aircraft that particular cargo compartment many times is not pressurized
and you could be dealing with uh temperatures that could
approach hypothermia type. Level so that's always a concern in the.
Rear but this was up in the forward compartment where
you put the animals in everything that are going to
(02:08:41):
be traveling as CARGO uh and and.
Speaker 6 (02:08:43):
Baggage so, yeah.
Speaker 9 (02:08:45):
There Was again wasn't any direct situation, there but as
far as you, know somebody getting, hurt but, yeah imagine
being on there and you hear this thumping coming from
underneath your.
Speaker 6 (02:08:54):
Feet you'd have no idea what was going.
Speaker 1 (02:08:56):
On all, right at the risk of not being able
to get to a legion buying sun kind of tree
for one point five billion what's THIS tsa increasing biometric PreCheck.
Speaker 9 (02:09:05):
Scanning it's a program that allows travelers in the pre
check line to use biometric scans of our faces during
the airport's security check. In it would allow us to
keep our driver's license or passports in our. Pocket you
can sign up for once you're a member of pre,
check you can have this scan where you can have
(02:09:25):
your facial scan done so that you can basically zip
through the security checkpoints on a prim at. All THE
tsa has this at twenty airports. Already they're increasing this
to forty five Including cincinnati this. Spring and again it's,
optional you don't have to do, it but it's a
step in that same progression that you And i've talked about,
before where we've got a lot of individuals or achieving
(02:09:47):
me a lot of airlines that are looking at using
facial recognition at the ticket counter where you can pop,
up have your face scan three, seconds boom at you
tag the, bags off you. Go it speeds up the.
Process you're going to use it THE. Tsa more and
more airlines that they gate are also going to use
this as well as far as proving who we are
before we board an. Airplane it's also going to allow
them to reduce the head count at a lot of
(02:10:07):
these stations as, well which is the ultimate drive, here
is to use artificial intelligence to reduce the operating. Expenses
they're going to sell it to us as increase, safety
more customer, service blah blah.
Speaker 6 (02:10:19):
Blah none of that's the.
Speaker 9 (02:10:20):
Case well some of it, is but the biggest thing
is to help the airlines reduce their costs by relying
more on. That and people that don't want to be
involved in this brant they don't have. To you can
opt out of. It it's not a big. Issue but
for those that, do it's going to be a way
to kind of speed you through the securining. Process AND
i certainly think that's a good. Idea, look they've already
got my face somewhere Right.
Speaker 6 (02:10:40):
Well you walk into a, casino they've got your.
Speaker 1 (02:10:44):
FACE i was just going to, say you've got acknowledge
that whether or not you like this, idea it's really
happening around you all the.
Speaker 9 (02:10:53):
Time you go to a sporting, event you go to an,
airport you go again to a.
Speaker 6 (02:10:56):
Casine it's.
Speaker 9 (02:10:57):
There they use this constantly as a threat assessment when
they've got an event going. On so the idea that
you know we're not going to be a part of, it,
well we kind of already are if we live anywhere
near these. Places it's like people running into a casino
or an airport, saying, look i'll get away from you
know where nobody can see. Me, well you you're walking
into a, bus like going into a. Bank you know
nobody's gonna see me.
Speaker 1 (02:11:17):
Here, yeah, right all, Right well let's go. Directly since
were out of. Time hub, delays how's it looking out
there for air? Travel jay Ratlifte.
Speaker 9 (02:11:26):
Minneapolis is going to be one At boston as, well
let us, know but it's leaving most of the hubs.
Alone SO i think it's going to be a day
of minimal. Delays so probably some de icing quick delays
as you depart, today but all in, all should be
a pretty good day to, Fly.
Speaker 1 (02:11:40):
Jay, ratlift always a distinct pleasure to have you on
