And yeah, I still swimming a little bit, but yeah,
it's it's fine. I'm done with the treatments and I'm
looking forward to getting a pet scan in a few
weeks and that'll determine whether or not I got to
continue treatments or whatever's going to happen. But I'm I'm
very optimistic. So thanks very much. And hey, before we
get to the data center topic, which I know you
wanted to talk about this morning, it's a great topic.

I just need to bring up something on the goobaatorial race.
I very disturbed one of the most influential educators of
my life, just a brilliant man, had a profound impact
on my politics and my view of education. It disturbed
me with a post he put up on Facebook saying
he's going to basically sit out the gubernatorial election. He's
no fan of Amy acting for a million reasons. I

can understand that, but apparently just not convinced of viv Gramaswami.
I don't know if he's a decent guy. It sounded
to me it was more than one of those you know,
he's looking for great and he's willing to throw out
good in the hopes that there's somebody else out there.
But if you sit it out and you don't go
for someone who is obviously better equipped and has a
demonstrable successful background that could benefit everybody in the state

of Ohio, you are pretty much guaranteeing Amy acting is
going to get elected. And that's once one part of it,
and the other part of it is the posts that
I've seen and people who will openly acknowledge they're not
going to vote for VVI because he is a person
of color and or Hindu. And that just appalls me
that anybody in my listening audience would reject vivig Ramaswami
because he he does have the nomination, would reject him

because of the color of his skin or his religion.
You know, Tom, can you react to that. I'm not
sure where you are in the gubernatorial race, but if
you want to assure Amy acting as governor of the state, yeah,
and sit it out.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Well, Brian, you're you're you know, you're hitting on some
very serious concerns. I'm concerned, and I've expressed that concern
to the VEC personally and to Rob McCauley and to
Alex the chairman of the party, because this is it's
actually growing that. You know, we heard that last year
and and you know, I confronted some of my Christian

(02:38):
friends who would bring it up to me. I said,
wait a minute, you're the guys who always come to
me when some Christian candidate is being talked down because
they're a Christian and now you're going to tell me
that you won't vote for so they because he's Hindu.
I mean, how how hypocritical is that? And it's it
doesn't make any sense, but it is something that we

have to understand is real. And these two issues we're
going to talk about today are linked the data center issue.
I'm becoming more and more convinced that the less with
funding from communists China, is using the data center issue
to split our Republican base, because that's exactly what's happening.

(03:19):
And I've been pleading with the Veik that you've got
to lead on this issue and that they're connected. It
comes down to this. In my opinion, it comes under this,
You've got to do something. I keep saying. I've been
talking on your show about the suspended gas tax to
give people a little bit of a break, because the

(03:42):
Fox pull that came out a week and a half
ago said the number one issue in Ohio that's going
to determine how they vote is inflation and affordability. Forty
three percent that that was their most important issue. Hey,
how about giving us a little relief on the gas prices,
to show you actually give a day and you're going
to take action to help the people. Well, I are

they going to do that? No, they're not doing a
damn thing.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Yeah, we can't handle a little bit of pain out
here in America. I'm talking about this a lot this morning.
I started out the morning I got on gas Buddy,
and you know, in the area surrounding my neighborhood there's
actually three dollars and twenty cent gasoline all around town
three seventy five, so it's no longer four point fifty.
And we did hit a peak, but under Biden it
was five bucks. And how long did that last? Maybe

a year it went away. That's a temporary problem. And
question out loud as we parked, as we paused for
a break here, Tom, How in God's name is who
you vote for governor going to have an impact on inflation? Broadly?
That's a global reality. It's at least a national reality.
I don't know that any one governor's position to do

(04:47):
anything except maybe temporarily suspended gasoline tax not a huge,
you know, a huge relief on that one. But beyond that,
I think it's certainly out of his hands. I mean
Trump promised the lower inflation on day one when he
got elected president. That hasn't really worked out because I
think it's out of his control too. You know, Tom,
don't go away. We'll bring it back. We'll talk data
centers at seven thirty seven and fifty five KRCD talk station.

And I want to strongly reconmend the talk station. It

Tom pivoting back over to data centers. Obviously a very
divisive topic. Everybody in the world thinks the world's going
to end. They're not gonna be any electricity left. They're

gonna pollute the water, They're gonna use up all the
available water. It's gotta be noisy, it's gonna Lord knows.
And I have been concerned from you know, day one,
when this whole idea and concept of data centers started
bubbling up, that yeah, the Chinese are the Chinese Communist Party,
not the Chinese people. The race, God bless it, are
behind efforts to undermine our moving forward in a direction

(05:53):
that the entire world is going to I paraphrase all
this or one of you know, qualify by saying I
don't like it. I don't want it to be a thing.
I want to have to you know, like old days,
I want letters to be written and mailed. So you
had three or four days before you got a letter back.
You know, world moved a lot slower. It was a
better place. People were smarter. They use logic and reason

(06:14):
and thinking skills in order to accomplish tasks that AI
will do for us. We're gonna be all dumber as
a consequence. Let's just get that out of the area
or out of the way. But it's here, and if
somebody doesn't dominate it, like the United States, then they're
gonna be potentially nefarious powers like the Chinese Communist Party
that will dominate it and therefore control the algorithms and

(06:34):
the way this stuff operates. And you know, damn well,
you and I are going to end up being used
or using a Chinese Communist Party dominated product and not
something that we would at least have some control over. Here, Tom, Tom,
if you can hear me, we can't hear you. I'm
not quite sure what happened right there?

You go, You dropped out and I didn't hear you
for a second, but yeah, so you know your frustration
is real, and we're where what I'm asking for. And
I think, actually I've agreed with Governor Mike the Wine
for the first time in about eight years with he
put out a post about data centers and and then
Glenn Beck had a really good take on this, and

you guys listening, you can find this at Porage countyteaparty

of putting all this Ohio data center stuff in there,
and listen to what Glenn Beck says, because he kind of,
you know, was going off what you were saying. They're
gonna build the data center somewhere, okay, and if it's
the Chinese who build them and not us, we're going

to really suffer from that. So we want to control it.
And what Mike the Wine was saying is listen, local communities,
you're in control. They can't just come and build the
data center. They have to cut a deal with you
and so get a good deal. And that's all I've
been saying. I just want to have an intelligent conversation,

(08:02):
and tonight I'm gonna be going to this Shaylersville township
meeting in northern Ports County that I'm afraid is going
to be a circus because the left has been talking
about busting people in and everything to promote no data
centers and all this, and Glenn Beck says, don't say
no data centers, say no data centers unless you protect

(08:26):
our water, unless you make your own power, unless you
give us what we want. That's the discussion I want
to have tonight in Shaylersville. I don't know if we're
going to get to have that because of the you know,
the less attempt to make sure they shut us.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Down, shout down, And that's the only tactic they have
because when it comes down to logic and reason and
dealing with the issues that they seem to be so
outraged about, which you could negotiate with a data center
that wants to come to your county. I mean, they
would just fail if they have to actually engage in
a discussion. So they scream miss you know what this
sounds like, Yeah, one more Marxist effort. When you look

at all the angry protesters going after ice, going after
police departments, I mean, the list is antifile. For example,
all of them we find that are well funded. Hmmm,
I wonder where that funding comes from. Where do people
think that? Why would anybody want to be bussed in
from outside the area, maybe even from outside the state
to deal with an issue that relates to only residents

of Portage County.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
Huh, that's funny how that works. It's great, and so
so we the people, all of us, you know, have
to have this conversation. You know, you got to go
look for the facts. And again, you know, I've made
the case. At that porgecintparty dot com website, you'll see

slides that they're going to present tonight that answer the
bloody questions. So, for instance, the left is out there
putting stuff on social media that this data center is
going to use two million gallons of water week or
something like that, and it's gonna use three thousand gallons
of water in a closed system that looks like the

radiator on your car.

Hold on it, Okay, let's elaborate on this. We come
back because at the time, I know you got more
on this one. I just have to interject real quick
as we go ahead to break Yeah, are they are
they busting in protesters to go after the golf courses
that use like how many gallons of water on a
daily basis? Don't go away, Tom will continue we the

Getting a little the talk station it is it is
seven to fifty one. I think if I have care
City talk station, Tom's Austowski Ether. People can mention dot
org Portage County for the meeting is gonna be talking
about the data center. They're gonna bus send people from
outside the area to scream about Portage County, maybe getting

a data center to try to stop it from happening.
You know, they mentioned the water usage, and of course
you defeated that putting out at the closed loop system.
Maybe they'll use three thousand gallons. But I mentioned golf courses.
I looked up Portage County, Ohio. There are ten to
twelve primary golf courses from public to exclusive country clubs
tom in Portage County alone, and according to my Internet search,

the average American golf course uses roughly three hundred and
twelve thousand gallons of water daily for irrigation. No complaining about.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
That fact, no complaining about that right again, this is
manufactured that This is what is hard for the average citizen. Now, thanks,
People actually tell the truth, and they want to believe
quote unquote what they think is the news, and god forbid,
they actually want to believe what they see on social media.
But but it's just a fact that the war is

(13:05):
between the United States and China. The rush to win
the AI, you know race is between US and China.
And if you listen to the Glenn Beck piece again,
it's Porsche County teaparty dot Com is the website where
I'm kind of putting all this together. You can watch
the Glen Neck video. It's it's nine minutes and thirty seconds.
He agrees with all you guys who are mad about

(13:27):
the data centers. He agrees it shouldn't raise our elector
raise it shouldn't use our water and all that. But
then he says, you know, you got to make a
good deal because we want to build them. We don't
want the Chinese building them. We want to control our future,
not be controlled by the communist Chinese. I know people
are listening to this going come on, you know, China's

(13:48):
not that big of a threat, folks. Just do the research, okay,
And so you have this conversation, educate yourself. Thank you
for you know, Brian, this show is so important because
where else are you hearing this discussion? Where else are
you're hearing the other side of the story. I did
a poll in Shailers though, okay about you're getting ready

(14:09):
for this meeting, to see how bad our situation was.
Eighty seven percent of the people polled said they were
against the data center when they didn't know anything about it,
and the reasons they gave why they were against the
data center. Ninety four percent of their reasons were false.
That's what I'm going into tonight. Okay, it's just misinformation

(14:29):
and disinformation. But your show and our website and other
people are trying to bring out some facts and some evidence.
And I asked people to look at the facts, not
at the emotion of you know, this is bad. No
to data centers. That's not the right answer. Listen to
the gun back video. Even listen to Mike the wine.

(14:52):

He's got a little piece he says, just make a
good deal. I agree that the money Andalersville is unbelievable.
Nothing has come to Shalersville in the last twenty years
that will have the financial benefit that this one data
center will have, and that it will double their township budget.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
See, and that's the question I wanted to end on.
How much revenue is this going to generate for Portage County.
It's not zero sum. It's going to bring in fat
bank for the residents there, and they can spend that
money whatever they want.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
Right right, And it's not they say, oh, it's not
creating jobs. It's such a jobs it's the property taxes.
This place will pay like thirteen million dollars a year
in property taxes to Portage County. The township budget will
double from four in one thousand to eight hundred thousand.
The school district will see a fifty percent increase in revenue. Okay,

(15:46):
that isn't coming from your home property taxes. I think
that's a good thing. I think that's what we've been
fighting for. And if you do the research in Fairfax County, Virginia,
which has more data centers than anywhere else in nine states,
because of the CIA and people like that, their property
taxes have crashed because the data centers are paying for everything.

(16:08):
They're paying for the schools, they're paying for, the police,
the fire, they're paying for everything. Make a good deal,
make the data center pay for everything you need in
your community. That's what the wine is saying, That's what
Beck is saying. That's what I am saying.

And I agree with you the wholeheartedly. And again this
is not me wanting or embracing the concept of artificial intelligence.
But wake up, folks, it's here. We either get the
benefit of it and we give it away to some
other country. Period. End of story. Tom I appreciate you
being around, appreciate what you do. We either people convention
dot org, and I wish you the best of luck
actually engaging in a substantive debate about these points with

the crazy protesters once you ask them where they're from, too.
