Speaker 1 (00:00):
Presoland dot Org had sheriffs of Sononia Fresso County and
enterim police Chief Casto stating that it'd be tough for
them to work with the Feds because of SB fifty
four as well. You know, they got a routine crime
public safety, right, they already have a full time job.
They can't be immigration enforcement. This is a different subject matter.
(00:26):
We got thirteen thousand murderers that we know of, that's
what the acting Ice Director put out a few weeks
ago running around America that we know of. Fifteen thousand
sex offenders, four hundred and thirty five thousand convicted illegal
alien criminals. How did that happen? Well, when you let
in what is it ten, We don't know how many
(00:46):
million have come in. You're going to have a percentage
of those that say, you know what, I'm in trouble
in my country, let me flee, right. Have we ever
heard of that in America? Going somewhere where you can't
be extradited. That's something the criminals have done for a
long time in America, way back in the day. Get
in trouble, back east and go west, young man. Nobody
(01:08):
will find you out there. It's the same concept. So
I really do hope that the sheriff Chad Bianco's, the
Sheriff John Zanoni's, our police chiefs around California do want
to work with the Feds to find these murders. If
they are in our community, how could they not That
constitution would override SB fifty four. If you're going to
(01:30):
talk about and the quotes like Interim Chief Casto said,
our duty to this community is to keep it safe,
and that's really what I want to focus on. So
I guess my question would be, and we'll give them
a chance in an opportunity. I don't think they've been
asked the proper questions yet, and I wouldn't be answered.
If I were law enforcement personally, I would be like,
let me wait and see what's being asked of me.
(01:53):
Let me wait and see what Tom Holme and the
Borders are and the Trump administration they want us to do.
If it's to go after if you're gonna, I would
assume most law enforcement would say, if you're gonna tell
me there's somebody that's committed murder and they're over here
on Fifth Street, then yeah, we'll help you go get
(02:13):
the murderer. We're not going to be pulling up in
front of Johnny Quicks and going, hey, drop the thirty
two ounce or are you here legally? Yeah, they wouldn't.
That's not their their their job, but to get these
individuals that are in our country that we're not here
five years ago, seven, ten years ago, right, they they
(02:34):
need to go. And you got a Denver mayor threatening
a Tieneman Square moment. If Trump deports illegals, they need
to be reminded that Obama deported five million. This is
not something new. This is not a fascist new president
that's in that hates brown people from south of the
(02:56):
Valley of the border. It's not what this is about.
But that's what they're going to make it about. This
mayor of Denver who's had all the problems and the
issues and having to pay taxpayer money, having to cut departments,
having to cut police, having to cut fire to accommodate. Right,
he said, you would have this is the Mayor Johnson
(03:19):
there at Denver talking about you would have fifty thousand
Denver rights out there. That's if the Feds came in
and tried to deport he said. He said, and I
quote him, it's like the Tieneman Square moment with the
Rose and the gun, right, you'd have every one of
those Highland moms who came out for the migrants, and
you don't want to mess with them. Highlands is a
(03:42):
suburb of Denver. I guess he's saying, you don't want
to mess with the soccer moms is basically what he's saying. Well,
if they do come out, if the Highland moms do
come out, arrest them for interfering with a law enforcement operation,
round them up as well. Yeah, you got mayor one
of America's largest cities going to help organize an insurrection
to stop the Trump administration from enforcing laws that they
(04:05):
are actually obliged to enforce law enforcements, obliged to enforce
the laws. And I'm going to go on record as saying,
without an attorney speaker Sonny Hosting, can I be the view,
can I borrow your attorney here, that the constitution overrides
this SB fifty four that we didn't even vote for, right,
you know, with the man made lockdowns. I argue with
(04:26):
politicians here in this valley for a couple of years
over the fact that no, no, well the state constitution, Yeah,
but our United States Constitution says, and when he took
it to court, the United States Constitution one over Sacramento,
So they should have stood up there. We need local
law enforcement, and we need every law enforcement in the
state of California. Yet again, no, you're not going to
(04:48):
be going out to the ag fields and first NOPD
and have the helicopter fly over and chase a guy
that's running from where he was out picking in the field.
Right now, that's and that's what they're trying to create,
right We're going after criminals. And then once that gets
situated there, there still is a conversation for doing it
the right way. Do it the right way Denver, PDEs.
(05:14):
Do you think the police department in Denver is going
to battle it out with ice to protect illegals. I
would assume most of them would ignore any order from
the mayor of Denver, Johnson to set up checkpoints to
try and turn away federal officials. And I hope it
doesn't come to this. I hope everybody works together to
keep us safe. But something is telling me, because they're
(05:37):
saying it, that they're not going to do this. And
this is this crossroads that I'm talking about and have
been talking about and these sanctuary policies. You heard Sheriff
Chad Bianco, they're talking about he's going to fight back
against sp Well, that's what we need. We law enforcement
come together, just like the das did to fight back
against these liberals here in California. We need a big
(05:59):
coalish against SB fifty four because the Trump administration is
going to take action against the legal aliens here and
they're going to start with criminals that got a standing
deportation ordered. If you want to pick a fight over,
Tom Homan has said, go ahead, We'll just send in
more agents. The smell A City councils adopted a policy
prohibiting the use of any city resources or federal immigration
(06:23):
past a thirteen to vote and it goes into effect.
And listen to the Governor of New Mexico here, she's
another left wing liberal nut job. The state of New
Mexico has had so many issues with the legal immigration.
This is Governor Grisham talking about ice.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
Govern Arch dun Sucking, you've said that you're not going
to help with Donald Trump's aspirations to do mass deportations.
I think there are a lot of people out there
who are happy to hear that, what can you specifically
do to stop on his efforts moving forward as and
he becomes president.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
Well, a couple of things. First of all, as you know,
it's unlawful. You can't use the military. You can't do
mass deportations.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
Can't use the military. We never had a situation where
we have been overrun like this. This is a foreign
invasion that was allowed by this current and which would
be previous administration when Trump takes over. When did all
this sanctuary thinking? When did all of that start? Well,
looked it up today. It was nineteen seventy nine. The
(07:33):
smell a police department, thanks Punch and John. Oh no,
they were highway patrol. They adopted Special Order number forty.
What was that, Well, it prohibited any LA police department,
any official from questioning anybody about their immigration status. And
their reasoning behind that was, well, they'll feel safer reporting
(07:54):
crimes and crime will go down. And that's what they're
still saying today as crime is off the charts. We
hear about the economy, right, Sheriff Sononi talked about the
how it would affect the local economy. Deportations would let okay,
let's talk about money then let's talk about money. The
cost of the border crisis, Federation American Immigration reform. There
(08:19):
are those out there that will tell you it's four
hundred billion dollars. Fare is a little bit more, I
guess on the fair side, they estimated at one hundred
and fifty billion dollars across America. And that's state and
local governments, which means that US taxpayers can see a
state like California, they can't. California can't print their own
(08:40):
money like the federal government can't. So states have to
kind of balance their budgets or raise taxes, or they
got to cut services. I wonder how many services have
been cut due to the thirty two billion dollars a
year that we spend here in California alone, one hundred
and fifty point seven billion dollars in counting across America.
And they created this crisis day one when Biden came in, Right, yeah,
(09:01):
no problem at all. Eleven months into the Biden administration,
they were calling the flood of people coming over seasonal.
They called it seasonal. And just think about the flow
of drugs, the flow of criminals. What about the three
hundred thousand missing kids? Do you not have time to
(09:23):
deal with that law enforcement. Right, is that not a
problem for our community? Right? I think it is, And
I think we need California law enforcement to work with
the Feds to do workplace raids where they're saying sex
trafficking and if nobody is they're not gonna they're not
gonna go in there and arrest people that aren't doing
(09:44):
anything wrong. And what about we never talk about this either,
the people that did it legally, that waited patiently in
line and watching millions and millions and millions cut in
line in front of them. There's so much about all
of this that is that is so unfair. One hundred
(10:05):
and fifty billion dollars on illegal immigration. Anybody want to
guess what we spend on homeless veterans, three billion, on
people that have laid down their lives for this, for
this country, willing to lay them down. We spend three
billion on them, one hundred and fifty billion on illegals.
(10:28):
And we have governors that want to stand up against
this who will not work with the feds.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
Any federal administration. You should expect states, and I think
you'll you should expect some bipartisan support, not just by
the democratic governors. Is that violating the constitution and the law.
We're not going to do that. Disrupting family status and
the economy, in humane, cruel, unfair, discriminate policies that again
(10:59):
are illegal on their face. We are not going to
cooperate in any way in that effort.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
See how it works out. Because the Trump administration and
borders are Tom Holman seem very intent on making this happen. Look,
look who's back. Brian Williams NBC News, Brian Williams, and
he talked about the biggest error so far that the
(11:27):
Democrats have made. It's insulting.
Speaker 4 (11:29):
I think the biggest unforced error of the Biden administration by.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
Far was the border.
Speaker 4 (11:34):
To tell people it's not a problem is insulting. For
the working class to see incoming migrants getting welcome bags,
debit cards and motel rooms is probably insulting as well.
So there's a lot of work to do.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
You know.
Speaker 4 (11:50):
It was when they they handed out Camo hats that
said Harris Walls and the Democrats were they were kind
of charmed by that.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
You want to hear more from him, Well, he was
on a roll. Biggest error was the border acting like
it was secure, Brian tell us more, what about the economy, sir.
Speaker 4 (12:10):
I think since it's insulting one members of the working class,
which the Democratic Party has lost entirely in our lifetimes,
to insist the economy is doing great, A twelve pack
of Bounty is forty dollars. Rich folks don't feel that.
Poor folks already switched to Sparkle during the COVID during
(12:33):
the lockdown, and I think telling them that the Nasdaq
is gangbusters is further insulting in.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
That true, I don't know what they make cheap paper
towels out, but you can't ever rip one off without
it ripping, like in half, or the last little corner
left there. I have a good wrist action with if
I can pull two of the cheap ones out right
and give it the quick ones. Sometimes you can get
it on the perforation there. I just think that if
we get our paper towels from China. But there's so
(13:02):
many things they're doing to drive us crazy. I think
they make our shoelaces too long, all the stuff that
comes from China. I think they're putting Q tips in
that don't have the cotton. A few album on one end,
so you hurt your ear. They're driving us. They do
directions and leave out I've had things I've ordered on
Amazon where a total section of the direction was just
left out. I think that's the CCP government over there
(13:25):
at the Chinese communists just driving us crazy, one little
thing at a time, right, And they're not even putting
enough belt loops around anymore. If you notice that, guys
or maybe gals that wear them. I have some older
pants that I put on, I go, oh wow, these shorts.
I've had these for a while and look they got
a lot of belt loops on them. And now no,
(13:47):
And while I'm on this, I just got to keep
my role going. I want to have T shirts that
have tags on the back so that when I get
up and i'm grabbing one, I know that where it is.
I hate that having a look and turn and see
where that's in. It fades like white T shirts, and
I wear white T shirts almost every underneath everything I wear,
(14:07):
and how it fades off and you don't know what's
then you're looking for the lower dip in the front
because it's faded off. Put a tag on there. What
was wrong? Why did we get rid of T shirts
that had tags. That's the way we knew where it was.
Especially when you're folding, you can watch TV and fold
and just feel the tag and know how Now you're
all looking and all of the Okay. Brian Williams talked
(14:32):
about suicidal empathy. I hadn't heard that word, but listen
to how he explains this.
Speaker 4 (14:36):
Here their party has gone quenewa and the rest of
America's eating at cracker barrel and so they It was
kind of an ironic use of something millions of Americans
put on their heads to start their day every day. Yep,
they need to reach out to America again and be
less about what's called suicidal empathy, worrying so much about
(15:02):
minority groups in society and in your party that you
win the argument, but you don't win the election.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
That's what he said. You know what we need to do.
I think we need to do is, just as lewis,
we have to come together to heal the soul of
this nation. We did, Joe, we did come together, and
we are going to heal it. We will make listen
to America strong again. We will make America proud again. Kamala,
(15:32):
you're listening. We will make America safe again. Doug im Hoff,
you're listening, and we will make America great again. Yes, tampon,
Tim you're listening. The Assistant Trevor Cherry Show on the
Valley's Power Talk number. You to me two thirty forty
forty two, John and Fresno. Happy Friday, Welcome Hi.
Speaker 5 (15:55):
That'd be funny. What was the peavity set down to
the people of the administration that allowed American thanks to
roll on American citizens at Waco, Texas?
Speaker 1 (16:07):
Oh, David Koresh and Bill Clinton and Jannet Reno and.
Speaker 5 (16:13):
And I say, I agree with the people in Waco
what was going on? But wasn't it long to let
the American troops attack American citizens?
Speaker 1 (16:22):
Son? Perfect? Perfect? You know what, when I talked to
law enforcement, hopefully after Thanksgiving here we'll get her by
in and get I'm going to bring that up. That's
a good point right there.
Speaker 5 (16:33):
And the perfect pie in their face was the fact
that that he was all the local law was friends
with them because they had a better shooting range than
their shooting range and the police shooting range. So they
went over to Waco and they'd liked, you know, they
were friends with them, and all they had to do
was just grab mister Koresh when he was out on
the streets of Waco. Would have been all.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
Over, Well, we can get we can take it level
to Randy Weaver, can't we Yes, Yeah, people don't know
what we're talking about. Just look up Randy Weaver this weekend,
and that was such a sad situation with the children
involved and and all of that. Boy, you're bringing up
some good points here, John. You know when they talk
about the couple quotes that I saw from interim police
(17:14):
Chief Casto and some sheriffs and even head Sheriff Chad
Biancoverside County, you know, they say, we have our own
crime to deal with. We can't be you know, doing
immigration here. But you know, sorry, there are people that
are here illegally that are committing crime. So I hope
that that's not what they mean when they say that
that they're not going to work with the FEDS to
get murderers and rapists in those types.
Speaker 5 (17:36):
Thank you for your show up.
Speaker 1 (17:37):
Thank you, John, appreciate it. Yeah, the you know what
that I need to go back I when that was
all happening. Of course, we all watched Waco, the siege
day whatever, thirty forty, all the ATF agents and the
and the helicopters and for those that maybe don't remember this, Yeah,
they surrounded and you can see man with thermo energy
(18:01):
where they can show you know, heat come out. You
saw it come out of those tanks right into that house.
They shot fire right into that. They set that thing ablaze.
And if they were as crazy as they the government
made them out to be, then those children were hostages.
When do you ever come down and burn down the
place when there are quote hostages inside? Right? Oh? Good point.
(18:26):
They send them out when they want to send them out,
don't they? Eleng Gonzalez? Right? Wasn't that a troop pulling
him out of the closet? Remember that whole thing? Yeah, FBI,
Yeah they were in there, right. That was a big
thing back in the Bill Clint administration where his dad
wanted him back in Cuba. Right. The rifle and the
(18:47):
yeah in the closet, man, they had the ah little
kid with the rifle on any right, Yeah, Feds don't
get involved with that kind of stuff, do they? Nah?
Get out of here? What are you talking about?
Speaker 6 (18:59):
Right?
Speaker 1 (19:00):
Well, it's still looking like the pope. Sorry, Catholics gotta
talk about this. Looks like the Pope does not really
remember what happened on October seventh in Israel. I'll tell
you his statements, and yeah, I'm going to remind us
all again. Next this is the Trevor Jarry Show on
the Valley's Power Talk. I didn't know about this. Back
(19:23):
on Wednesday, November twentieth was it was marked Red Wednesday,
and you had a bunch of cathedrals and churches and
monuments like Westminster Parliament, the Hungarian Presidential Palace were all
lit up red and support of persecuted Christians. And everybody's
got their day and their week and their month and there,
(19:43):
but this was a day to light up red. I
didn't know about that. Actually, Patty on the side of
the house, I got a big old red light bulb
out there that I never turned on. But yeah, next
November twentieth, I'll try and remember to do that. Right.
They focused on Christian kids and young people in Africa
the Middle East because all the Islamic violence. Now again
(20:07):
not every Muslim is violent, or we would have a
world completely on fire. But you got these these groups, man,
I mean undeniable, and they're staying. The violence is shifted
from the Middle East to Africa. Christians terrorized by all
the violence and Burkina Fasso never heard of that country,
(20:27):
but it's a country in Europe. Excuse me, Africa b
U r k I, n A and then Faso. More
than two million people ten percent of the population that
dismissed in displaced because the Muslim Islamic gangs going around
such a peaceful group. Right Nigeria, five thousand Christians were
(20:47):
killed last year. You had these these Muslim raiders go
in storm these Christian villages on Christmas Eve last year,
remember killing hundreds. They hit on Easter of this year,
murdered ten a pregnant woman and unborn baby. You got
four hundred Christians in prison without trial because of their faith.
In India, seven hundred and twenty attacks against Christians were
(21:07):
reported last year. Now let's bring this up to October seventh.
I'm not going to go through all the atrocities because
we all know about babies being put in microwaves, and
people being raped to death in front of their husbands
and then killed and all of that just demonic hell.
Hell Hell came forth and Amas took the hostages took
(21:33):
them back and there's still dozens remaining there. And here's
what Pope Francis called for, an investigation determined if Israel's
attacking Gaza constitutes genocide. Bang head here in September, he
said the Israeli attacks and Gaza in Lebanon were immoral
(21:55):
and disproportionate, and the military has gone beyond the rules
of war. Really, you want to talk about the rules
of war, he implied, Israel committing a genocide. He didn't
talk about the Christians being massacred by Muslims in the
Middle East, in Africa, does he? Over fifty thousand Christians
(22:19):
were massacred by Muslims in Nigeria in twenty sixteen. You
had millions fleeing on Nigeria, iraqs Aria, Egypt, Pakistan, and
Pope Francis didn't call that a genocide, did he? No,
he preferred the term martyrdom. Well, they were dying for
(22:39):
their faith. I guess is how he meant that, right.
He even visited Armenia and didn't and he used the
term genocide there. But why won't you describe it of
Christians in the Middle East, where he admitted they're being
persecuted and cruel treatment. He also refused to name Muslims.
(23:00):
He only complained about a presentation of religion and religious
values in a fundamentalist way. You mean in a violent,
we're killing people way, But with this role, we'll use
the term genocide. I well, none of this shocks, that's right.
I mean, we saw what all happened here. I can't.
That just almost seems like a dream that we had
(23:22):
Jewish students running for their lives on American universities and
that happened. Okay, next, let's move on. All right, you
have an election, right, you had a couple of presidents
have to resign from universities. But man, be there should
be visus revoke. Let's so when Trump gets in, let's
hope that he goes and takes that there's some kind
of trackability for the individuals that acted that way. I'm studying.
(23:47):
I'm studying. Boom. Now you're being deported back to your country.
We have a flight at Lax waiting for you. There's
a car outside. We'll give you ten minutes to pack
under our watchful eye. I'm gonna call my dad. No, no,
you're not, you leave right, revoke them revoke them, come
(24:08):
in here and try and stir up. You would kick
them out of your own family reunion if they're trying
to create a fight in your family, wouldn't you? You
wouldn't put up with it for a Mississippi minute. Right.
That's exactly how we need to look at this country
like our family, and they need to go. I think
what we're seeing what happened to Europe right now just astonishing.
(24:28):
I mean, it's it might be gone, it might not
ever return to to what it was. Right. You had
a well known Italian Holocaust survivor, ninety three year old
Edith Brooke, publicly rebuke Pope Francis for suggesting that Israel
was being investigated for a genocide. Yeah good, This ninety
(24:52):
three year old said, genocide is something else. When a
million children are burned to death, then you can talk
about genocide, right good. Hungary born Jews survivor of Auschwitz
said the bloodshed in Gaza is a tragedy that concerns
us all, but insists that Israel not attempting to eliminate
the entire Palestinian population. She said, this is something Hamas
(25:13):
wants to do. They want to wipe out all the
Jews in the entire world. See that's what that's what's
brushed to the side. And yeah, we had a little
bit of an education session when from the river to
the sea chance or chanted out what that actually means. Right,
But Israel's been striking back with the pagers, man of
(25:36):
those blowing up from the from the kidney to the
knee right knocking them out. Right. You had the Berlin
police chief warmed Jews and also gaze, hey, where's for Palestine?
Are you picking up on this message from the chief
of police in Berlin warning Jews and gays to be
more attentive when an ape Arab neighborhoods. Guys, that's where,
(25:59):
that's where Europe is right there? Can you imagine that?
Be more attentive? What does that mean? Pay attention to
where you're going, and and stay away from the Arabs
and the Arab community because what they're gonna they're gonna
kill you. The chief told the Berliner Daily newspaper. The
city does not have specific no go zones for people,
(26:19):
but some areas are unsafe for members of the Jewish
and LGBTQ communities. Any police chief worth their pistol would
would go in there and shut that down immediately immediately.
But I guess you have Hamas sympathizers all around the world.
Right yeah, warning Jews, gaze, you'll be attacked. Well, here
(26:44):
you go. This is what happens when you leave your
border wide open and allow another culture to conquer your land.
That's what's happened. Right in Germany, you had a group
of little Jewish school kids attacked by a pro mosque
guy with knives and sticks. Last week you had a
Jewish youth soccer team member hunted down by Arab kids
after a game. I wonder where they get the audacity
(27:08):
to do this. I don't know. Maybe they watched all
the media reports of America going crazy in the George
Floyd Summer of Rage twenty twenty. Right, Oh, you had
them out there, little kids after a soccer game shouting
free Palestine. Not a good luck for Germany. I bet
they which they could go back in time and close
up their border. Right. This is the Trevor Cherry Show
(27:30):
on the Valley's Power Talk. Last home game tomorrow night,
Senior Night, Treslo State could have some moisture could affect
the game, especially the passing game. Might even change the way,
the kind of what it kind of cleats that they
wear in those kind of games. Bulldogs take it on
Colorado State pre pregame with C K and Crew at
five thirty, Pope Paul coaching cam six thirty, and the
(27:52):
kickoff at seven thirty. Gonna be Senior Night tomorrow night.
So that's good football, weather Man. That's right, that's all
the game's supposed to be played. And I can tell
you right now, man, we need more role models for
young kids to look up to. And this young man,
quarterback of the Houston Texans, c J. Stroud's, he wears
(28:14):
his faith on his sleeve and he talks about life
in the real way. And here he was talking about
what what he struggles with.
Speaker 7 (28:24):
Hey, man, like I'm struggling with cursing right now. I'm
trying to stop and I'm trying to just hold back
because not only am I trying to do it for myself,
but also like I can't proclaim that I love God
and have like a wild mouth like that just doesn't
make sense to me, this hypocritical. I read James three
last night and I went over the devotion on the
way to work this morning. So it's like stuff like that,
Like people were like just like send me stuff and
(28:46):
I ask questions and I like, I'm a youth in
this walk and that great.
Speaker 1 (28:51):
He's talking about how he wants to change his life
and not not swear as much, and what a role
model that would be for kids. Let's listen to more
about what he has to say.
Speaker 7 (29:02):
When you get emotional about something, like when I get
emotional about like football, I'm like, I'm like, like I'm
just feeling the emotion that I get on the field,
I like start to like profanity, you know, And I'm like.
Speaker 1 (29:16):
I'm kidding. I put that tone in there, wasn't that
funny here. I'm gonna go, I did that right here
when I was sitting here. Let me go take that
back and play you what he really said. That was
just a joke.
Speaker 7 (29:26):
When you get emotional about something like when I get
emotional about like football, I'm like, I'm like, like, I'm
just feeling the emotion that I get on the field,
I like start to like play the game or like
like feed into the profanity, you know, and I'm like
I caught it. I'm like, hold on, like this isn't right,
you know what I mean? And I remember watching the TikTok.
I get like a lot of my faith videos on TikTok.
(29:47):
And I remember watching a certain guy he was in
prison for like twenty something years, and that was the
thing that he learned while he was in prison. He
was like, man like, there was guys who I would
try to like lead to Christ, but they're like, man like,
you talk like I do. And he was like, they
wouldn't lead. I mean, they wouldn't. They wouldn't follow me
after like that type of leadership.
Speaker 1 (30:04):
What a cool young man. Now I'm for the Houston Texas.
That's my team. Now, Hey, that's all it takes. Now,
I'm just a player, dude, Right. I'm for the Bills
in the Houston Texans because of Josh Allen in the
Valley connection and the fact I lived there for a while.
And I know what those I know what those Bill
fans have gone through. Hoo boy, I wouldn't want to
(30:25):
be a Buffalo Bills fans. That's a tough one. That's
a tough one to bite off. You go to the
super Bowl three times in the same decade and to
get rejected each single time, I don't know what of
a certain age. I'm fifty eight years old. I was
born three years after JFK assassination, so I don't remember it.
(30:47):
So I'm guessing those that are maybe like sixty six
years old and older might have some kind of memory.
Those in their seventies remember it as a young kid, right,
if you're getting closer to eighty, high school or maybe
college age or a young adult, right, remember the assassination
that happened sixty one years sixty one years ago today. Sorry,
(31:11):
we're having some technical issues here.
Speaker 8 (31:13):
Whatever issue may come before me as president, if I
should be elected, I will make my decision in accordance
with what my conscience tells me to be in the
national interest, and without regard to outside religious pressure or dictates.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
Yeah, he went down to Texas because the Democrat party
was having issues. LBJ was a Democrat, obviously his vice
president from Texas and went down and Jackie hadn't been
out traveling much with him, but she said, I'm going
to start for the sixty four campaign that's coming up. Right,
such a beautiful day. As they're slowly turning onto Elm Street,
(31:53):
the bullets, not from one location, from multiple went off,
grabbed his neck and then his head exploded. She climbed
on the back. America hadn't seen this appruiter film till
like nineteen sixty seven or sixty eight when that came out.
And then that weekend Lee Harvey Oswald shot by the
(32:13):
hustler Jack Ruby. Yeah, the guy that did not have
Chicago Maffia ties. Yeah, yeah, you know, just allowed to
roam around the Dallas PD underground parking with the gun
getting extreme well close enough to walk up and shoot
him in the gut. We all remember that still photo.
(32:34):
Don't we have aw Oswald's mouth open grabbing his stomach?
Speaker 8 (32:38):
Right?
Speaker 1 (32:40):
Yeah? Jack Ruby died, I guess of cancer. In jail,
he tried to talk what if how come Lee Harvey
Oswald never got to, like have an attorney, and how
come the attorney never came out and spoke on his
behalf on Friday night or Saturday the whole day Saturday, Right,
he kept yelling, I'm a patsy, I'm a patsy walking
(33:02):
through the hallway. It's amazing. I have a little museum
collection of JFK. An old man in Connecticut got me
started when I responded to a one ad and a
paper that said old baseball photos and JFK memorabilia. I
called him up when I lived in Stanford, Connecticut, went
over one weekend, and I think you only charged me
(33:22):
like it might have been thirty or forty bucks. Or
this big, huge stack of Kennedy assassination the Warren Commission.
He'd saved all the newspapers. It's probably a couple feet high.
I have quite a collection, and it's amazing to see
the front pages like Dallas Morning News or Morning Star
whatever it was. JFK assassination cinched. Yeah, I mean that
(33:49):
that night they had it all down. Here's the see.
That's back when the Americans they trusted what Walter Cronkite said,
what David Brinkley said, or you know whoever was on
and there was no social media. Nobody even knew about
the Suppruder film. It was just what they told us.
And it probably felt good as an American to go,
(34:09):
well good, I'm glad that guy stood up for missus
Kennedy and shot that Commie Lee Harvey Oswald. It had
to be a see. They played it all together, playing
off everybody's emotions. Right.
Speaker 8 (34:21):
I am not the Catholic candidate for president. I am
the Democratic Party's candidate for president, who happens also to
be a Catholic.
Speaker 6 (34:30):
Because I am a Catholic, and no Catholic has ever
been elected president, it's apparently necessary for me to state
once again, not what kind of church I believe in,
for
Speaker 8 (34:41):
That should be important only to me, but what kind
of America
