Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Quinn of Canterra, PIX 106.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Oh, we've got a friend of the program, entrepreneur, restaurateur,
Chris Pratt. Chris. Behind second annual Lark Out Loud is
joining us. Hey, Chris. Hey, guys.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Good morning. Entrepreneur. I like that.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
I like that a lot. Are you working on an
app for gigs?

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
Did you see that?

Speaker 2 (00:18):
I did. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Nice.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Dude, I'm really excited about that. Yeah. I won't plug that,
but I will.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Who's it for? How's it work?

Speaker 3 (00:26):
It's called Gigs to See. My wife and I love
live music and we're always sitting around and we're like,
you know, we want to see live music. So we
go on Facebook and we scroll through all the craft fairs,
all that stuff. And we're like, and then you can't
find the exact night and a lot of the information's wrong.
So I was like, you know what? I want to
build an app that just supports local live music.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Nice.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
That's it. And it's simple. You just go to gigcc.com.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
I'm there.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
And you just put in today, tomorrow, tonight, whatever, and
it will just give you who's playing.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
That's awesome. And it's all local. And it's accurate because
you're right. A lot of times you dig it up
the info and it's just not right.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Right, right, yeah. See?

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
And you have to weed through all the crap there.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
This ain't no Polestar. So we got the second annual
Lark Out Loud coming up on Saturday. That means the
first one went pretty well, right?

Speaker 3 (01:11):
The first one went great. I have to tell you guys,
people came up to me and they're like, I heard
you on PIX 106. And that's awesome. And you guys,
that's why I really love what you guys do and
how you support the community. So I appreciate that. You
do it right.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
You do live music constantly over there. Lark Out Loud,
second annual. It's Saturday, of course, coming up Saturday. You've
got four tribute bands.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
This is in the Lark Tavern parking lot, right?

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Yeah, we have a huge parking lot, and we're doing
this to alleviate any of the stuff that goes on.
Lark Festival, there was a lot of problems on the streets. People,
residents were not happy with it, and this is a
nice way for us to say, hey, we can still
have live music, but we can have it in a
contained lot where we can kind of bring everyone in

(01:57):
and control what's going on in there so it's not
annoying the residents. But we've got a great lineup, man.
I'm really excited about everybody. All these are great seasoned
artists that have grown up and lived in the area.
We've got a Neil Young tribute band. The guy looks
just like Neil Young. I love it. And I've heard
these guys tonight's the night. Then we've got my cousin,

(02:18):
Bobby Vendetta. If anybody knows the music, he knows Bobby Vendetta.
He's doing a tribute to Motown and soul. And then
we've got a electric rodeo, which is going to do
nineties country. I wanted to mix it up this year
and appeal to a different audience, you know, nineties. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
And, um, and then for the headliner, we've got, um, uh,
toys in the attic. I don't know if you've seen
these guys, but they're tremendous. They do the whole Steven Tyler.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
They're, they're, they're amazing. So, um, So it's really exciting.
And we did add one other thing I want to
just plug real quick. My wife and I have two
beautiful golden retrievers, and we're doing something called Golden Hour.
And we're inviting people to come bring their golden retrievers
at 11 o'clock from 11 to 1. We're going to
do a parade down Lark Street. You people and your

(03:02):
golden retrievers.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
No, but the golden retriever crews out there in the
world are very tight, and I've always noticed that.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Yes yes so we i wanted to create something that
would be like a precursor to the event that would
hopefully grow into maybe we'll be in washington park and
have thousands of dogs perfect.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
That would be fantastic it's chris pratt from lark out
loud the second annual so this is a free tribute
band music festival got to be 21 plus bring cash
for food and for drink and so golden hour is
11 and then when does music start chris.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Music will start at 1.30 and go until 8.30. All
the information is on markoutloud.com. Even the Golden Hour registration
is on there. Like you said, it's a free event.
We will have 10 vendors, 10 local vendors selling all
kinds of stuff, records and purses and things like that.
So we're really excited about it. And the city has
been great. Lark Street Bid is behind us, supporting it

(03:59):
this year. They're making it one of their premier events.
So we're hoping people come out and enjoy the day.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Can I dress my dog up to look like a
golden retriever and bring it, or am I going.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
To get shunned? Absolutely do that.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Is it like one of the motorcycle rallies?

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Yeah, I don't want to bring the.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Yeah, no over the tanks.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Yeah, don't roll in with a little shih tzu or something.
That's not going to work.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
Fair enough.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
It is the golden hour.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Hey, thanks for doing all this. Good luck on Saturday
and come on the show anytime, Chris.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
Absolutely. You guys are great. And maybe if you're around Saturday,
stop by and sell low. And I'd love to give
you guys more of a plug when we're on the
stage up there. Cause you guys are great. I appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Appreciate it. Mark out loud.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
Chris Pratt.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Thanks brother. The Lark street tavern. It's picks one Oh
six shades.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
On world out puffing on a menthol.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
