Speaker 1 (00:00):
Jared. You're out with Quinn and Ken Tira and Albany Good.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Hello, New York comedian. He's an author. His brand new
book is out today. We're talking to Jared Freed. The
book Walking Red Flag Dating Advice from your favorite guy friend.
Saw you on a Good Morning America yesterday. Congrats on
the book, bro, Thank.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
You so much. It's a pleasure to be here. I
love all the night.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Now, do your guy friends pull you aside when you're
in private and say, what are you doing? Who are you?
You know you've got no game with delay? What are
you talking about?

Speaker 1 (00:29):
That's the whole point of the book. Okay, I have
no game, and I'm telling you what's going on inside
the mind of a guy like you know, a lot
of times this guy's telling me, going, I can't believe
you're saying you're look, I'm a spy who's turned on
my own. I'm telling women what's going on in the

(00:50):
mind of a man, oh man, taking away all the
you know, the shiny veneer. You know. The book is
really to get you inside the mind of all these
red flags that are out there, to let you know
how to be a better dater and makes people feel
more confident.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
So the red flags am I getting? The red flags
are for the ladies, The red.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Flags are for anybody. But like you're a red flag,
I'm a red flag. We're all someone's red flag. And
then you know, then you find a girlfriend, suddenly you're
the most perfect guy alive. And I think that's like
not really a great way to set up dating.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
The dating conversation walking red Flag dag Advice from your
favorite guy friend on sale. Today, we're talking to the
author and comedian Jared Freed. You've had you have a podcast,
Jay Trained, You've had Pete Davidson on what advice would
you give Pete Davidson Because yet another relationship fail for Pete.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
I failed. You're so negative, dude.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
He just has a kid and he doesn't live with
his kid.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
He made the decision though, right Pete.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Well, I don't think every relationship is a learning experience.
We gotta go a glass half fall this radio show.
You guys go real negative. No, I don't think if
any breakups aren't failures. Breakups are learning experiences. And you
know what are they saying? Sales? You know you're one
no way from a yes?

Speaker 2 (02:17):
You know you away from the he hasn't. He hasn't
an infant that now doesn't have a father well because
he can't get his DA.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
I didn't know you were living with them. I didn't
realize you were best friends with Pizza.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
I thought you were friends, and I thought you would
care about him.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Give me, I'm not sitting here telling me that he's
not a father figure. You will give the guy a chance.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
How are you on hooking up on the first date.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
I think if someone if two people you know feel
good about the date and have a great time and
want to have a little kiss, why not.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (02:58):
But what if I think a city first kiss is better?
You know, a first kiss after a date in Albany
is really, you know, not that great. You know you're
in those parking lot of a Romano's Macaroni grill and
some woman yelling for her kids.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
I don't know about a kiss outside in Albany. I'd
rather do it in New York City. But I don't.
I have no problem. I don't think there's any wrong answers.
I think it's uh. If you felt it and you
feel good about it, that's great.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Does your book or I know, your interactive show? Does
text translation. Do you want to give us an example
of text translation you're talking?

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Basically, what I do in the book is take text
that I've received on dating apps and let you know
if they're like good or bad, and letting you know,
like what's a better you know, a better way to go,
because what happens on dating apps specifically is we go vague,
we try to be less of ourselves, and that's usually
not that great. That doesn't find you a match. You're

(04:03):
not looking to go out with someone if you know,
you want to feel like you know someone before you
even meet. So it's about, you know, making a dating
profile that's more specific to you, a little bit more vulnerable.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
At what point are you just hoping for a response
from anybody though? I mean, let's be honest, at some
point and it's usually pretty early off.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
That you been with the negativity, Well, it's it's like
at some point and here's the thing is, you're putting
all your eggs into the dating app basket. You're probably
not on a good path with dating.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
Jared, all of this makes great sense and his solid advice,
but it's just hard to picture in this day and
age for me. I guess I don't know he's not,
but I understand it.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Walking red Flag dating advice from your favorite guy friend,
Jared Freed. The brand new book is out today Jaredfreed
dot com. You can also get information on his new tour.
Is that's the table for one tour, right, Jared?

Speaker 1 (05:03):
That's right. Awesome.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Man.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
Keep it up, man, keep selling those books, keep raking
it in. We love you for it.
