but this big team is the best point differential in
the playoffs of any team in in NBA history. They
only lost three games, which is like the I think
the second or third best record in the for a
playoff run in NBA history. Well, they only won like

fifty three games in the pigless season, which for an
NBA championship team is like very average. It's actually below average.
So in terms of like a playoff run, it is
literally like a top five playoff run in the history
of the league, maybe even top three. But the team
just wasn't great in the regular season. So it's just
hard to kind of, you know, put those two together

and figure out exactly what it is other than it's
been like a magical month and a half of basketball.

Mike Brown, look, I mean so much pressure was on

them to the you know, uh, he's a Commons championship
last year. He's a really good coach, and there was
a ton of pressure basically had to get him to

the finals or win it for it to be a
successful season, right, and he just you know, and you
saw him, he's he just much more relaxed. He has
like a lighter side to him. He's kind of a
little bit of like a nerdy Dupis in like some
ways with the whole like who let the dogs out thing?
But it worked for this team, you know. And that's
all everybody. Somebody said at the other the day, and

but I thought it made a lot of sense. Everyone
that coaches in the NBA is a good coach, right,
If you've gotten this far and you can coach in
the NBA, you're a good coach. But does your style
match what your players require to play at their best?
And I think it just worked for Mike Brown and
then just about Jalen Brunson very quickly, because I mean

he is a wholly unique player. Guys. He's six to two,
he's not tall, he can't jump, he's not fast, but
he's probably doesn't smile until he wins. But he's probably
a top three player in the NBA in terms of

on your team. If it's one possession at the end
of the game, when you need two points, he might
be the guy that you want with the ball in

tier free agent that a lot of people thought was

A couple of years later, he was named the captain.
He's taken less money to sign of the players. He's humble,
he works his butt off. He's a leader. He's immentally skilled.
He plays the bestest in the biggest moments, like a Jeter,
