Speaker 1 (00:00):
Morning cap Land.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
A couple of local television stories to mention here. One
is that News ten is announcing sports director Griffin Hass
will be taking over as one of the main anchors.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Okay, all right, I'm sure which shifts.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
You said the evening show.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
That's what it said. I don't get to the late
stuff very often.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
And that's we have a lot of friends in the
TV business, and I have a lot of friends who
started in sports who have progressed. You want to hold
onto your job, you have to move into being an anchor.
Very few, like there's very Roger Wiland's around who can
stay in this as a sportscatter whole career.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Did he just he just married somebody over there, gotten
gaged or something, right.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Yeah, I'm not sure which, but I think he's yes.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Not that dast to do with it anything, but you know,
you want to keep him together. If you got two people,
you don't want them to you know, keep him around.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Griffin Hass going from sports director to an anchor, and
then our friend Tracy from the former show on the River,
Kevin and Tracy, Tracy and Kevin who left the morning
show to go to News ten to be executive producer
of their third hour, the Lifestyle Lifestyle Show.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Right, she resigned, that would just happen, though I don't
understand something. Did the dustop happen?

Speaker 2 (01:09):
I don't know. She just so, No, I know it was.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
You saw the post, right I did? I did? I
did dust up. Well, see it's been ten days.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Maybe she maybe she slept in for a week and
realized I don't want to have.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
To get up at four. Oh man, you never know.
It's a fast movie industry, the media biz.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
She'll stay, she'll stay on afternoons. Right, but I'm thinking, like,
remember her partner, Kevin.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Yes, he's probably pissed because that's the first thing I
thought of. He lost his.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Job at Albany and because she took another job. But
then she didn't take that job, and now she's not
coming back to mornings.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Yeah, I would be very tired.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Like if you did that to me, bro, Yeah, I'm
not sure I would be speaking with you to begin with.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
But I will never do that to you. Do what
you got to do. I would never do that to you, though, Well,
save your house, you know what I mean. If I
had to save my house, you'd understand. Clearly, we got
to do what we got to do as a team.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
You know what I mean, if if you got fired,
or if I got fired, or I don't know if
you need if you got an offer, yeah, for three
times the amount of the money you're making now, I
wouldn't hold you back. Bro, Bro, come on, can't stop
you from moving up.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Listen, man, I know my place on this program. It's
fifty to fifty here. I know that if I go
somewhere else, I end up being me and me only,
and that is not a good thing.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
I got another partner though, Sure, getting a partner, Sure,
I'm always going How would tread handle this?

Speaker 1 (02:32):
We've been nurturing this small business that we've had now
for twenty five year.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
It's a small business we sh I have to give
credit to my financial director and manager, Sarah Cantera aka
the Capitol Regions Julia Gooli.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
I've been crushing it for us. Yeah. She's been making
big decisions over there.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Yeah, she's been. She was our promotions director. That's twenty
five years ago when Quinn and I were working in Northampton,
mass Remember she got so mad at us because we
had this big event. We refused to wear the station
T shirts because we're we're our own people.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
We are our own Peeople T shirts were street teamers.
Thank you. We come with we were all with fashion.
You showed her, you married her. I showed her.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
I'm paying for it.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Everything good man,
