Outdated IT systems have emerged as one of the major issues in health service reforms. The issue has come to light in the handling of a 12 year-old girls’s radiology records at Hawke’s Bay hospital.  

NZ Resident Doctors Association National Secretary Deborah Powell tells Tim Dower there are substantial risks arising from flawed IT systems.
