Jared Whittfield: Manawatu dairy farmer on 'Fitbits for cows' - Holiday Breakfast

A new technological development is creating a bit of a stir in the farming industry; Fitbits for cows. 
Cow-manager have come up with an ear sensor, which tracks everything each cow does and stores it all. 
It monitors when she's standing still, staring at something, having a little run, chewing grass and importantly for farmers, it detects when she's in heat.
