Speaker 1 (00:00):
Uh, so your ears may feel like you're hearing something wrong.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
You may feel like what am I?
Speaker 3 (00:07):
Am?
Speaker 1 (00:08):
I in an alternate universe if I were to tell
you that Sky and the Boo hit a jackpot recently, Yeah,
they actually won something. Yeah, you guys remember, you know
they had that lottery scratcher channel on YouTube where they
lost thousands of dollars you know, every day, very bad,
(00:33):
very bad. It wasn't the most profitable thing that ended
up happening for them.
Speaker 4 (00:37):
Well named the channel chasing lottery millions because the plan
was to win the millions.
Speaker 5 (00:44):
And I remember when she brought this idea to us
about when we found out she was doing it, and
she was like so adamant, like.
Speaker 6 (00:50):
No, you guys don't understand.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
If we just keep it, we broke the coat.
Speaker 6 (00:53):
Yeah we're gonna win.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
They booke the code.
Speaker 5 (00:55):
Yeah I thought that way. I've been out of roulette table.
Eventually my numbers the hit. Yeah, guess what, Eddie, But
it doesn't really, that's crazy.
Speaker 7 (01:06):
Yeah, lottery, the odds on the back of.
Speaker 8 (01:10):
The ticket are actually accurate your favor It turns out
that's a better chance of getting struck by lightning than
actually winning some sort of jackpot.
Speaker 6 (01:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
So you know, to these crazy kids, they enjoy gambling,
just not the best at it. Okay, so they enjoy it.
But I just haven't had you know, you know, it's crazy.
Speaker 5 (01:32):
They get a rush and a thrill. I think most
people doing well.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
That is all until recently. Recently, the boo had a
big win. Yes, not not in the lottery, because that
wouldn't be that would be silly, that would be insane.
Speaker 9 (01:53):
No, so boom, yeah, big money boo.
Speaker 6 (01:57):
That's what they call. That's what they call.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
Nobody calls some big money, but he's okay, that's.
Speaker 5 (02:07):
A great call. They called the million dollar man in wrestling.
Oh really yeah, payoff wrestlers.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
Huh.
Speaker 4 (02:15):
I had no idea.
Speaker 6 (02:16):
That's the booth.
Speaker 4 (02:17):
No, I know, I don't think that is okay. Yeah,
so we went out for a little date night recently.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
That's shocking.
Speaker 6 (02:27):
That's the story.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
I haven't left the house in like two months. I
haven't really tired, guys, issues with my iron levels, but
I was starting I was finally feeling better.
Speaker 10 (02:36):
That's the only issue.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
Well, there's a lot of issues, Emily, but we're just
not going to go into that. So one of my
girlfriends had been reaching out for a while, being like, hey,
let's get together, blah blah blah. But I told her
iron issues, you know, I said, what's once I get
these iron supplements figured out, start feeling better, have a
little bit more energy. You're the first person I'm gonna call.
We're gonna hang out. So we decided we wanted to
(02:59):
go out on a little date night, have some a
nice dinner, and do a little gambling. So we decided
a squad hey spot yep, that we were going to
go there, go have dinner at Bull and Bourbon.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
Ye yep.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
And then after that, of course you got to hit
the casino floor. Well so responsible, yeah, thank you. And
so that's exactly what we did. Big slot machine people,
not so much table people, but slot machine people. And
say what the couple we went with, they're all about this.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
You like those big wacky ones with like you know,
the Willy Wonka you know things, or the wacky ones.
Speaker 10 (03:42):
Yeah, old school, no, no.
Speaker 4 (03:45):
So I have a mix mainly those ones like Eddie.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
If I win, I'm always like, what did I win?
I don't even know.
Speaker 10 (03:52):
I don't like it because I never know what's going on.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
I'm a table guy. Yeah, yeah, but my wife loves it.
Speaker 3 (04:00):
No.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
I like the games where you can hit like a
bonus screen, and that's where it's at because that's when
the fund starts crazy.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
Oh yeah, comes jumping out. Yeah, it's crazy throwing buddy.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
Oh and I talked to it when it goes off
and I'm doing the thing where.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
I come on batching the screen. One of those that
doesn't do anything. You don't know what it does.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
So we go out and you know, I don't know
if you guys have experienced this before. The boo hot,
He's hot that night.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
Me, I'm the cooler cold fish.
Speaker 4 (04:36):
Oh my god, every usually are Yeah, every dollar I'm
putting in there, the sequan's keeping it. But my husband
every dollar he's put in their sequand's paying them like
five ten times back.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
Lucky boo, lucky boy.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
So this is going on to the point where I
just stop playing and I'm just like sitting next to him.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
Even though you're the cooler, i'd be like beat it.
Speaker 9 (05:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:02):
Luckily I wasn't the cooler for him. I was cooler
for me when I was playing.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
Yeah, because I'll tell a kick off.
Speaker 9 (05:08):
My table sometimes gets really mad.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
I've seen it.
Speaker 4 (05:18):
So the boo is killing it, right, and so he's
like he's coming up.
Speaker 7 (05:24):
And luckily he's.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
Doing the thing because in the past we've done the
thing where you just get the money and then you
just keep playing the next thing, you know, you go,
where'd all my weavings?
Speaker 10 (05:34):
So he's doing the thing we're like to stop.
Speaker 4 (05:36):
If he hits a good amount, like four hundred bucks,
he's going to cash that out and put that ticket
in his pocket and then just put like a hundred
back in the machine. Right, So he's doing that all
night long, to the point where he's got a couple
nice tickets sitting in his pocket. And so this is
towards the end of the night we decide to venture
(05:56):
into the high limits.
Speaker 6 (06:00):
The first that's crazy, okay, yeah.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
Because Moo's got like, I don't know, he's got like
a thousand bucks worth of ticket in his pocket.
Speaker 7 (06:09):
Hell yeah, sing it, Eddie, sing it.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
And so he sits down at a machine and what well,
you know, I'm kind of sitting there going maybe I
should hold onto a couple.
Speaker 1 (06:21):
Of those tickets, you know, just so they don't.
Speaker 4 (06:23):
End up back in the machine. But no, he's doing okay.
And so he sits down in a machine and he's
doing twelve dollars spins, Oh my god, which which is
pretty high for us. But he's like hitting okay, and
now now.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
His machine or the other totally.
Speaker 4 (06:42):
And now his machine has quite a bit of credit
in it, and he's claiming he's at a hot machine.
I'm like, okay, okay, whatever you tell yourself. So let's
just keep this going. So what he starts doing is,
you know, you get you get a little crazy, and
he starts everyone once in a while doing twenty five
(07:03):
dollars spino, which I'm getting real nervous, guys, I'm getting
real nervous. But I know any point I'm gonna yank
him off that machine. Time to go home. So on
one of his twenty five dollars spins, he hits the
bonus screen.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
Oh here we go, Mega, what are you doing?
Speaker 4 (07:23):
And so the bonus screen it's like filling up these
different boxes with different amounts.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
And is that one of the ones that has like
the Mega jackpot, Mini jackpot, all those things.
Speaker 4 (07:34):
It has the different jackpots, which we've never really seen.
Sometimes we've seen the mini, but it's it's filling up
with different dollar amounts, but since it's a twenty five
dollars spin, these dollar amounts are pretty substantial. And next thing,
you know, all of a sudden, the Mini pops up
on the screen. Okay, then all of a sudden we
(07:58):
get the minor pops up on the screen, and then
the Mega also pops up on the screen. And again
we're looking at this and we have no idea how
much money this is until the thing is over. And
it did that thing where it filled up every single
box except for one. But if that last box would
(08:21):
have filled in, it would have been the like million
dollar amount that's on the top, that's on the screen
that like no one ever hits. So of course we're
like hyped, thinking it's gonna happen, but it doesn't. But
still we got the Mega, the minor, the Mini, plus
a whole bunch of dollar amounts, and so we're like,
how much money is that?
Speaker 7 (08:39):
We have no idea.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
Whistles going off, yeh oh my god.
Speaker 4 (08:43):
Yeah, it's like it's you know, screening, it's saying big winner,
big winner. Right, So we get all this money, we
cash it out, and it's it's late, especially for us.
It's like eleven thirty at night, and I'm like, okay,
like let's call it enough yet, Bottles. My thought is
(09:04):
we're going home because it's never going to get better
than this, right, And so the boo All of a sudden,
he's on a high and he starts talking and talking
and so this is a substantial amount of money. What
he's raising our hand.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
You don't, oh, you want to know how much of
a win?
Speaker 10 (09:26):
Are you sane?
Speaker 1 (09:30):
Like what are we talking about?
Speaker 4 (09:31):
Talkt Sky? So dude has a thousand dollars worth of
tickets in his pocket and this one jackpot was over
nine thousand, okay on just this one jackpot. No, it
was like nine thousand one.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
That's a lot of money for us.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
For Sky, this is like change around, yeah, stopping.
Speaker 4 (09:57):
We have never even like seen like we're the kind
of people that go to the casino and if we
break even when we leave, like that's the wind, you
know what I mean. So to walk with like ten grand.
Speaker 5 (10:08):
That is well, I never won that much before to casino.
I don't think did they give you a check or
do they give you all cash?
Speaker 4 (10:14):
They counted out in cash, And I think a threshold too,
where you got to actually, oh yeah, no, they can't
fill out a four.
Speaker 5 (10:25):
I'm going to make sure you file that.
Speaker 4 (10:27):
Know, the casino files it on your behalf.
Speaker 6 (10:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (10:31):
Yeah, there's no getting away from the I R S.
They want their cut of that.
Speaker 5 (10:35):
Wow, Sky, So you're rich, okay, already that's true by
breakfast next day.
Speaker 4 (10:42):
Well, here's where it went sideways, because the boot's on
a high. He keeps talking about how great this money
is because it's going to allow him to buy all
of these things for his V that he's been restoring for.
(11:04):
I mean, he's had it for ten years, but he's
been working on it for like the last year like
a madman.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
But no, that's cool, But no, it's not.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
What do you mean we're not dumping ten thousand dollars you.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
Want to spend all of it on the vw Oh.
Speaker 4 (11:18):
He's he's like, now I can get those new door
panels I wanted. Like his thing was he was just
going to take the dings out and the rust out himself.
Now he's gonna buy new door panels for it.
Speaker 5 (11:29):
Why not?
Speaker 1 (11:29):
It's like fun money, right, and he won it.
Speaker 5 (11:33):
He hits his money.
Speaker 4 (11:34):
And then that's when I said, I thought we were
going to take a nice chunk of this and put
it in our daughter's college fund. Oh god, come on,
he has like four payments left on it. Let's pay
off the car.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
So you want to do not fun stuff?
Speaker 4 (11:51):
I want to do responsible.
Speaker 5 (11:53):
No, this is that very money. It's not free, and
you didn't You don't get to say you didn't win it.
Speaker 4 (11:58):
I see.
Speaker 7 (11:59):
That's that's kind of the look he had on his face.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
It is weird because he doesn't work, so legitimately sky
funded the wind.
Speaker 5 (12:11):
And he works in other ways.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
You're right the projects around the house, right, you're right
to now, Now.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
Eddie, if your wife won, wouldn't you think you would
have a say and how the money is spent or.
Speaker 1 (12:24):
Or I never have before?
Speaker 10 (12:25):
But I mean if she's.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
One before, nothing nothing like that.
Speaker 4 (12:29):
But that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
But she's had won and I don't touch it.
Speaker 4 (12:32):
Well, that's how it is.
Speaker 7 (12:34):
If it's a couple of hundred bucks, but it.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
Was like five grand, she's she's one decently before, and
it's not my money.
Speaker 4 (12:41):
She just puts it in her person. You never hear
of it again.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
She'll deposit it, you know whatever.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
I mean, Like you know it's not like she just
goes out and but she's not a spender.
Speaker 10 (12:54):
Yeah, she wanted to buy a nice bag with it or.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
Something, go for it to me. To me, gamble winds
are fun money. You can shoot, you can go do
fund something fun with that, you know. I know this
is crazy for you to think about, but we would
probably do like a family trip, not to Oregon, you know,
but something fun. Well again, there's a lot of places
you can go, so to spend. Spend the money that way.
Speaker 4 (13:17):
I thought, like a thousand bucks you can put in
your v W or that.
Speaker 10 (13:22):
And then you can't buy anything with a G and then.
Speaker 4 (13:24):
The rest of it should go like to paying off
things like our car and the college fund.
Speaker 1 (13:30):
Did you hit the jackplane?
Speaker 5 (13:32):
Well yeah, I don't remember hearing that sky hitting the
sky was the cooler.
Speaker 4 (13:37):
Okay, that was true.
Speaker 5 (13:39):
But if anything, he went in spite of you, which
is crazy to think.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
But that's boom money.
Speaker 4 (13:47):
All our money is family money. Oh stop that we
have that's a bank account, that's not it.
Speaker 11 (13:54):
I think the only time you use that money for
serious stuff is if you don't make enough money on
the red to pay your bills and stuff.
Speaker 10 (14:01):
But you make your a zillionaire payment.
Speaker 4 (14:06):
I'm not a zillionaire. And how good would it be
to pay off the SUPERU like to have a car
with no car?
Speaker 2 (14:13):
Nothing cooler?
Speaker 4 (14:14):
Well, it's not about being cool, bro, I mean we
just came up ten grand.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
Let him spend it.
Speaker 4 (14:19):
No, let's be responsible with it and make good purchases.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
Yeah, we're just irresponsible at the casino. Why not?
Speaker 12 (14:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (14:26):
Why not?
Speaker 4 (14:27):
You know, not with ten thousand dollars like that?
Speaker 6 (14:31):
Once you went in a high limit room.
Speaker 1 (14:32):
Things are things are all Hell's man, no rules, no rules, man,
I just Emily. Yeah, your man, Robert, but ahead, it's
a jackpot.
Speaker 6 (14:45):
His money, his money, and he works.
Speaker 10 (14:47):
He has his own you know.
Speaker 5 (14:48):
Yeah, this is different because they have their own kites.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
But but do you feel like he should spend that
on everyone?
Speaker 11 (14:54):
I think if it was ten grand, half goes he
can do if he wants to work on his boat
or something. Okay with that, the other five g's put
towards the house or do something fun on a trip.
Speaker 5 (15:04):
And you would do the same because if you want
ten grand, I feel like you like that it's my money, man's.
Speaker 11 (15:13):
And I was going to pay bills with it, which
is what i'd actually do with it. I would do
five into the house, which is us two and then
the other five.
Speaker 6 (15:21):
I mean, no one believes into the house.
Speaker 5 (15:24):
What Like My point is, sorry, you're right, but my
point is you would do whatever you wanted with it. Yeah,
there's no consulting. There's no consulting.
Speaker 10 (15:33):
There's no no consulting.
Speaker 5 (15:35):
Yeah, but if Robert won, you'd be like pissed if
he didn't consult you. Yeah, just say just say we know,
we know.
Speaker 1 (15:43):
Yeah, okay, there you go.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
I mean if he wanted that's boom money. Yeah, that
boom money.
Speaker 4 (15:51):
We know it's not going into the v W. I'm
sorry you were like a grand.
Speaker 12 (15:54):
To the W.
Speaker 5 (15:55):
The point of having that guy grinds every day want came.
Speaker 4 (16:00):
Really really.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
Is ten granded only fans? I will, alright, all right, and.
Speaker 5 (16:10):
Now it's time for farmed at the beach.
Speaker 6 (16:15):
Here we go, let's get a little drink home.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
Oh yeah, this is, of course, is where we send Jamie,
who I don't know. Is he old enough?
Speaker 4 (16:23):
I think?
Speaker 12 (16:24):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (16:25):
Smart?
Speaker 2 (16:26):
Smart? Uh.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
So Jamie goes to the different bars. He looks for
the drunkest people out there, ask them some trivia questions
and then based on how drunk they are, we try
to figure out if they're going to get the question
right or wrong. You get to play along with us.

(17:12):

Speaker 1 (18:28):
You are, in fact a human. Congratulations.
Speaker 2 (18:32):

Speaker 11 (18:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (18:57):
Can you tell me how much you had to drink
so far today?
Speaker 10 (19:00):
Not a lot?
Speaker 5 (19:00):
Not a lot, a lot.
Speaker 10 (19:02):
I think we could like ballpark A number four?
Speaker 1 (19:05):
Four?
Speaker 6 (19:06):
You sure?
Speaker 9 (19:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (19:07):
All right?
Speaker 12 (19:07):
Four of what.
Speaker 3 (19:09):
Just white clothes, just white clathes which flavor black cherry?
Speaker 6 (19:14):
What does aol stand Ford.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
Wait, why did you boo black cherry?
Speaker 10 (19:18):
I hate black cherry?
Speaker 2 (19:19):
Do you really?
Speaker 11 (19:19):
Yeah, they're all black cherries left in my fridge like
I pick around them in the variety pack.
Speaker 10 (19:24):
I'm not a black cher I'm a mango girl. Should
hang out with this chick, mango grapefruit. Those are those
where I live, Thank you very much.
Speaker 1 (19:30):
I would clear that up.
Speaker 10 (19:31):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 4 (19:34):
In my world, if I had four white claws, I'd
be You'd be dead.
Speaker 10 (19:39):
I'd be dead.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
The table that's an appetizer for that's warm up. Yeah,
and I don't believe she only had four. And I
don't believe that she only had, you know, a little
bit to drink, and you're saying all that stuff.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
Her name is Ken's, by.
Speaker 4 (19:54):
The way, I was wondering, sure for.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
Ken Z, I'm guessing, but all my friends come a cat.
Speaker 12 (20:02):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
The question that Jamie asked her is what does a
O L stand for? Is Ken's gonna know that stands
for America Online? And uh, just not not really her era,
but maybe she's heard of it. I don't know. Is
Ken's gonna know what AOL stands for? Gosh, I don't
(20:25):
I'm really struggling I'm struggling with this one because I mean,
I'm just from the generation where everybody knew what it was.
We all got the disc. We all got the disc. Yeah,
they come in the mail and you had the aim
instant messenger. It's good times, man. Ah. So absolutely is
(20:51):
Ken's gonna know what AOL stands for. I'm going to
air on this. She's too young, and I'm gonna say, no,
she's not going to know it.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
What do you think, Emily?
Speaker 11 (20:59):
Yeah, this is She does sound very young, but I
feel like she she has drink more than four for sure,
but I feel like she's not that drunk yet.
Speaker 10 (21:08):
So she's gonna pull us off and take a guess
and do it.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
She's gonna know it.
Speaker 12 (21:11):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (21:12):
Okay. What do you think?
Speaker 1 (21:12):
Sky Ah?
Speaker 7 (21:14):
Yeah, I mean.
Speaker 4 (21:15):
Clearly being drunk matters, but I feel this is more
of an age thing, like this is generational. Like if
I was to say that, I mean, clearly, my daughter's
not a drinking age. But if I were to say
that to my daughter, she would like just look at me, like,
what are you even talking about? So with that, I'm
gonna say no, she will not get it.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
Does not know it.
Speaker 5 (21:34):
What do you think, Thor, I think she's gonna know it, really,
because it's like, what else would it be? AOL? I
feel like Ken's is gonna help us.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
All right, Well then we're split. Emily and Thor say yes,
which is weird because you guys are the younger ones. Right, Yes,
she is gonna know AOL stands for America Online. Me
and Skuy say no, she is not going to know it.
Let's hear how she answers.
Speaker 4 (22:02):
It's my email address at online line.
Speaker 10 (22:10):
Oh man, she has an email that's at al dot com.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
Apparently, idiot?
Speaker 10 (22:19):
Did you know that?
Speaker 6 (22:20):
Idiot?
Speaker 1 (22:25):
So now you're turning on that that was your girl.
Speaker 6 (22:28):
Let's start calling her Ken dropping that you can't dump
the c You can't dump that.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
Wow, well that did not go man. All right, Let's
get to the second question for Kens.
Speaker 3 (22:40):
What color is the word eleven and the seven eleven logo?
Speaker 2 (22:44):
Think about it by gobout it?
Speaker 4 (22:46):
Please get me every time?
Speaker 1 (22:47):
What color is the word eleven in the seven eleven logo?
It is green? It is green? Is Ken's gonna know that?
Speaker 2 (22:57):
Emily?
Speaker 10 (22:57):
I came up with that answer on my own, and.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
I'm gonna give how many white claus have you had zero.
Speaker 10 (23:03):
Okay, unfortunately, bring me one. I don't know the white
call firy.
Speaker 11 (23:10):
Okay, I'm going to take another chance, even though I
didn't learn my last of the last one.
Speaker 10 (23:14):
I'm going to say she gets it right, she.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
Does know it all right? What do you think, Scott?
Speaker 4 (23:18):
Yeah, yeah, I'm like so nervous, but I think she
has a shot at this one. That's probably where she
bought her white claws. So I'm gonna say, yes.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
She does know it all right.
Speaker 2 (23:30):
What do you think?
Speaker 5 (23:32):
I'm gonna agree with Sky here? I don't know why,
but I feel like I said yes, yeah, but I
wasn't paying at She's not. But he doesn't agree with you.
I don't agree with them. I disagree with Sky Okay.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
I think if you picture it, you're gonna come up
probably with a couple of colors. May orange, Is there
a red in there?
Speaker 10 (23:54):
I think there is a red.
Speaker 1 (23:55):
Two you know that it's one of the three. I
think is there yellow? No? I don't think.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
I don't think so.
Speaker 10 (24:02):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
So you're gonna come up with something. So, just in
a guessing form, I think she's gonna get it right.
It's gonna be a guess. But I think she's gonna
say green as a guess. So I do, because I
think that's the first color you think of when you
think of seven eleven. But yeah, I think I think
she's gonna get right. So all four of us are
in agreement that she is going to know the color
(24:25):
of the word eleven in the seven eleven logo is green.
That's the answer. We're looking for white white hen We
also thanks Scott.
Speaker 4 (24:39):
Luckily it didn't matter God white like whose logo is white?
Speaker 6 (24:44):
Nobody's logo the background is white?
Speaker 1 (24:48):
Happened? Ken's curiating?
Speaker 2 (24:54):
All right, let's get to the final question for Ken's.
Speaker 3 (24:58):
What movie has the famous line and I see dead
people in it?
Speaker 1 (25:01):
Oh?
Speaker 12 (25:02):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (25:03):
What movie has the famous line I see dead people
in it? Of course it is the sixth sense? Is
Ken's gonna know that?
Speaker 2 (25:11):
Skuy?
Speaker 9 (25:12):
Oh?
Speaker 7 (25:13):
Oh, there's so many things that work here.
Speaker 4 (25:15):
Has she seen it?
Speaker 1 (25:16):
How long ago that movie coming out?
Speaker 12 (25:17):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (25:18):
And even if she has seen it, is she's too
drunk to come up with the name of a movie. Ooh,
but it's such a famous quote. I'm gonna take a
chance on Ken's even though she just big time let
me down. And I'm gonna say, yes, she.
Speaker 1 (25:33):
Will get this crack and all right, what do you
think do?
Speaker 5 (25:35):
I don't see how you get this wrong. I know
that she may be young, and it came out a
long time ago, but everyone knows I see dead people
from the sixth tenth, right.
Speaker 1 (25:45):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (25:46):
I think Jamie hadn't seen it, and he's an idiot.
Speaker 5 (25:50):
I mean, I'm just kidding. Birthday Guy's birthday right Friday?
Speaker 4 (25:55):
Friday?
Speaker 5 (25:56):
Weirdo?
Speaker 4 (25:56):
Wouldn't we have had presence?
Speaker 5 (25:59):
We're buying press? Okay, wait a minute, no joke, I'm
calling it to two. Can I get my hand me
down from my son? My sound is bigger than him
at this point, true would yeah, one of his old.
Speaker 6 (26:11):
Six month buies.
Speaker 5 (26:13):
This is wild?
Speaker 3 (26:14):
Way.
Speaker 5 (26:14):
What did I say?
Speaker 4 (26:15):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (26:15):
Yeah, she know, she knows it.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
She does know it.
Speaker 12 (26:18):
She knows it.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
Okay, I'm trying to think what your six cents came out.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
I don't remember.
Speaker 5 (26:24):
It's at the two thousands or the nineties.
Speaker 1 (26:25):
I think it was like twenty ten.
Speaker 5 (26:27):
No, it was twenty that's crazy, too crazy, Yeah, that's crazy.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
When did it come out?
Speaker 5 (26:32):
I can't remember somebody looking at Sixcess ninety nine twenty.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
Right right, I got a little crazy, a little crazy there.
Speaker 12 (26:42):
Now.
Speaker 11 (26:42):
Remember Jamie's going to be twenty four was born in
two thousand and two, so like that's how it was.
Speaker 10 (26:47):
Yeah, he was the kid in the movie.
Speaker 1 (26:49):
Right, hold on, I'm really lost here.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
Yeah, I think she's going to get this one.
Speaker 4 (26:54):
CB wow even all that.
Speaker 6 (26:56):
Yeah, you're going to go I'm going to say she
knows what do you think?
Speaker 10 (27:00):
I'm gonna say she doesn't know it, does not know.
She doesn't know it.
Speaker 2 (27:03):
It's not up.
Speaker 1 (27:06):
Dude, doesn't know it? All right, So me sky Thor say, yes,
she's gonna know that. The sixth sense is the movie
I See Dead People is from Emily, the only one
that doesn't think she's gonna know it. Let's hear how
she answers I see dead People.
Speaker 10 (27:21):
It's that one man who was in a full House
not House.
Speaker 13 (27:30):
Oh I think I just saw a dead person, the
one guy from full House, No, not full House?
Speaker 1 (27:42):
Sixth sense? How did we come to that?
Speaker 4 (27:44):
I just know that was crazy?
Speaker 1 (27:47):
That was crazy was Pruce Willison in Full House.
Speaker 4 (27:52):
She gives like.
Speaker 10 (27:52):
Joey Gladstone mixed up with Who's joy David Coolier.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
That's Joe Uncle Joey's last name is you know.
Speaker 4 (28:00):
His last say?
Speaker 10 (28:02):
I am not.
Speaker 11 (28:04):
That was I legit think that she's getting Dave.
Speaker 2 (28:11):
I don't think.
Speaker 1 (28:15):
It was Bob sagging in his sixth sense and we
didn't know it. So was he that one creepy guy?
It was like, you're right, all right? Well that was
a disaster, kind of crazy round sky. What are the
standings after round one?
Speaker 9 (28:30):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (28:31):
Wow, right now, Emily, sorry girl, dam the white claw
power didn't help you.
Speaker 7 (28:36):
Emily, zero points, last place.
Speaker 4 (28:40):
Right now, it's second place. We have four with one
point and me and Eddie are tied for first place
with two points each. We are, yes, we are.
Speaker 2 (28:50):
It's crazy.
Speaker 1 (28:50):
There's a whole nother round to go though with this guy.
Speaker 6 (28:58):
Maybe she's the one, Maybe she's I think she's with
the guy. No for tonight, but tomorrow it might be
with me.
Speaker 5 (29:06):
Okay, are you gonna talk to here?
Speaker 6 (29:07):
No, it's just scared.
Speaker 2 (29:10):
That was worse than what Thor did. All right.
Speaker 1 (29:12):
Bomb to the Beach Round too is coming up in
just a few So we are right in the middle
of playing everybody's favorite favorite drinking game. A little bombed
at the beach and we got a big.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
Prize on the line.
Speaker 1 (29:24):
We have Brett Michaels and Night Ranger tickets who are
playing at the San Diego County Fair. That is the
prizes that are on the line after round one, Sky,
what are the standings please?
Speaker 14 (29:37):
Well, unfortunately for Emily, she is in last place zero points,
in second place with one point, and me and Eddie
are tied for first with two.
Speaker 1 (29:50):
Well, we have a whole nother round to go here,
so let's hear the second person that Jamie went and
talked to.
Speaker 6 (29:56):
Who am I here with? I'm here with Adrian Pres.
Speaker 5 (30:00):
Oh, sorry, I don't know if I this, No, you can't.
My name is Brucie.
Speaker 6 (30:05):
They call me that. Yeah, all right, Brucie.
Speaker 5 (30:08):
What you doing out here tonight?
Speaker 3 (30:10):
I'm here to have a good time with some friends,
you know, have some drinks, hopefully find the one eventually. Okay,
all right?
Speaker 6 (30:17):
Have you seen any prospects at your tainment?
Speaker 2 (30:20):
There's a few, there's a few.
Speaker 5 (30:22):
Okay, all right?
Speaker 6 (30:22):
Can you tell me how much you've had to drink
so far?
Speaker 5 (30:24):
As well?
Speaker 1 (30:25):
Like three drinks?
Speaker 3 (30:26):
But I'm just scared to talk to them, to be honest, man,
only three drinks, are you sure?
Speaker 5 (30:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (30:31):
Okay, three drinks of what?
Speaker 12 (30:35):
All right?
Speaker 5 (30:36):
So you can't remember?
Speaker 6 (30:37):
I think we're way past drinks.
Speaker 1 (30:39):
Maybe maybe maybe, okay.
Speaker 3 (30:41):
All right? What was the name of the all female
group Beyonce was in before she went solo?
Speaker 6 (30:47):
My word, that is Jamie like giving her girl advice?
That was pretty crazy.
Speaker 10 (30:55):
I think he is.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (30:57):
I feel so bad for the first girl old that
like is actually nice to this guy and talks to
him because he's not going to leave her alone for
the rest of the night.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
Yeah, by the way, okay, that was That was a
whole scene. Was the question that Jamie asked him though,
was what is the name of the all female group
Beyonce was in before she went solo? Of course it's
Destiny's Child? Is Brucie gonna know that? Thor?
Speaker 5 (31:29):
I want to say, how could you not know that?
Speaker 1 (31:31):
But this guy said the same thing with American eyes.
Speaker 5 (31:33):
I know this guy's hammered and it's been so long
since Destiny's Child had a song together make a comeback?
Speaker 3 (31:40):
What?
Speaker 5 (31:40):
I don't think Beyonce wants to know.
Speaker 2 (31:42):
I don't think she needs to know.
Speaker 5 (31:44):
Did they reunite?
Speaker 1 (31:45):
They did?
Speaker 11 (31:46):
When I think they I think they came out on
her tour like a couple of times.
Speaker 10 (31:49):
Couple of times, but maybe somewhere else.
Speaker 2 (31:51):
And I feel like they came out like wasn't one
of the super.
Speaker 4 (31:53):
Bowl but I don't know.
Speaker 5 (31:59):
Of the three them walking on stage and Kelly falls
it's hysteric.
Speaker 1 (32:02):
No, no, I'm thanks for bringing that up.
Speaker 5 (32:05):
I'm going to say.
Speaker 1 (32:09):
Doesn't know it does not. I am going to air
on the side that Brucey is a music fan and
what BRUCEI I'm not saying he's one of the the beehive, beehive,
whatever you call it, but I think he's going to
know this. I think that's in there. I think he
is going to get it correct. What do you think, Emily, I.
Speaker 11 (32:33):
Am going to say that he's too drunk, he doesn't
know it, he's too young, gets it wrong.
Speaker 9 (32:39):
You have zero points, Okay, and Scott, Oh, I'm so torn.
Speaker 4 (32:44):
Brucey couldn't even remember what he was drinking tonight so bad.
So based on that, I'm gonna say, no, he will
not get it correct.
Speaker 2 (32:55):
Totally forgot about that.
Speaker 1 (32:56):
Okay, So then I'm the only one that believes Brucey
is gonna know the all female group Beyonce was in
before she went solo is Destiny's child? Let's hear what
Bruce answered.
Speaker 6 (33:08):
What's the name of the plush toy?
Speaker 5 (33:10):
That?
Speaker 6 (33:11):
Oh of Mae Johnson nineteen eighteen?
Speaker 1 (33:14):
What oh of Mae Johnson nineteen eighteen?
Speaker 2 (33:18):
That was his answer.
Speaker 6 (33:19):
That was his answer.
Speaker 2 (33:20):
Oh gee, I don't know what?
Speaker 10 (33:22):
Oh wow? Wild?
Speaker 6 (33:25):
Okay, that didn't even.
Speaker 2 (33:28):
Make any sense.
Speaker 1 (33:30):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (33:30):
All right, Let's get to the second question for Bruce.
Speaker 3 (33:33):
What's the name of the plush toy that has a
heart shaped tag on it?
Speaker 6 (33:37):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (33:37):
Wow? What is the name of the plush toy that
has a heart shaped tag on it? Those are beanie babies? Again,
this is kind of a dated sort of a thing here.
Is brucey gonna know that? I mean, it's a kind
of confusing the way it said. It's not like I
don't know. I think it's too deep. I'm gonna say
(33:58):
he's not gonna get that one.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
What do you think, Emily?
Speaker 11 (34:01):
I mean, after he shouted off just a weird number
type of answer that I didn't even understand before.
Speaker 1 (34:07):
There's no chances, no chance, all right?
Speaker 2 (34:09):
What do you think, Skuy?
Speaker 4 (34:10):
Yeah, I feel like this isn't his generation and also
maybe not his gender. Not to say that boys couldn't
be into beanie babies.
Speaker 1 (34:19):
But beanie baby is a girl thing.
Speaker 4 (34:21):
I thought so.
Speaker 1 (34:21):
I mean I think there were there.
Speaker 9 (34:24):
It was a plush toy, absolutely not, but toys, well,
they were kids.
Speaker 5 (34:29):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (34:29):
I don't know. Maybe I'm okay, I'm being very sexist
right now.
Speaker 1 (34:34):
I can't believe that.
Speaker 4 (34:35):
I apologize.
Speaker 7 (34:36):
Boys are allowed to love beanie babies.
Speaker 1 (34:38):
As well, but he isn't my little pony.
Speaker 10 (34:40):
But there aren't they kind of they're not kind of girly.
I mean like they're I thought, did you have beanie babies?
Was a little ozzy, young boy?
Speaker 1 (34:47):
Did any of your have any toys? He didn't click toys?
Speaker 4 (34:51):
I don't know, Bro, I'm still sticking with it, and
I say.
Speaker 2 (34:56):
No, I was not. I was a kid in the nineties.
I was a ron asked man.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
Collected beanie babies here collecting other stuff.
Speaker 10 (35:08):
Shut up either way, No way he's going.
Speaker 4 (35:11):
To get a list.
Speaker 5 (35:13):
That guy had an answer.
Speaker 6 (35:14):
Yeah, I don't think he gets it.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
No, nobody believes that he's going to know it.
Speaker 1 (35:18):
All right, again, what is the name of the plush
toy that has the heart shaped tag on it. The
answer we're looking for is beanie babies, a Beamie accountable.
Speaker 9 (35:32):
I don't know a Beatie that's at Yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (35:36):
Know, but I mean I wish a Beanie. I wish
Jamie would have said, can you clarify or something, because
I don't know what to do with that. I mean,
if we we all answered the same way, so it
doesn't really matter. But I mean if if one of
us didn't, we'd have some issues there.
Speaker 2 (35:54):
That would be a problem.
Speaker 1 (35:56):
So next time, Jamie, get a little clarification, please, thank you,
are not sorry. All right, let's get to the final
question for Brucey.
Speaker 3 (36:04):
What body organ filters blood in humans?
Speaker 2 (36:07):
Whoa?
Speaker 6 (36:09):
Whoa?
Speaker 1 (36:10):
Okay, this is science. Which body organ filters blood and humans?
That's your kidneys? Emily looking so good?
Speaker 2 (36:19):
What kid well?
Speaker 11 (36:22):
You know?
Speaker 2 (36:24):
So what do you think is Brucey gonna know that? Emily?
Speaker 10 (36:28):
No no chance, no chance, no chance.
Speaker 11 (36:31):
I mean that Beanie was a little bit impressive him
saying that, but no no.
Speaker 1 (36:34):
Chance, no chance. All right, what do you think? Guy?
Speaker 4 (36:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (36:37):
I agree?
Speaker 4 (36:37):
Like you could ask him what's your name? And I
mean he did in the beginning he said his name
was like Adrian Gonzalez or something like that. So, yeah,
this guy knows nothing.
Speaker 1 (36:46):
Knows nothing, he knows Beanie, Okay, what do you think?
Speaker 5 (36:51):
I feel like he's gonna say liver because he heard
the word filters out and he's just gonna assume alcohol.
So I don't think he knows it.
Speaker 4 (36:59):
What you doing here? I don't know.
Speaker 2 (37:01):
I mean, we only have so many organs, you know.
Speaker 1 (37:04):
I feel like, you know, he could randomly just shell
out kidney, could be heart. I don't know what he
could say here. I don't know he knows what. I
think he knows. I don't think he knows. Okay, let
me clip. I don't think he knows it. I think
he's gonna guess correctly. So that's that's where I'm going.
So I'm the again on them. I'm the only one
(37:25):
that believes El Brucey knows the body organ that filters
blood in humans is the kidneys.
Speaker 2 (37:32):
Let's hear how he answers the heart. I thought it
would be.
Speaker 1 (37:37):
One of the other then, all right, what I don't
have no idea what ended up happening.
Speaker 2 (37:45):
So what's the final standing?
Speaker 4 (37:46):
This whole thing flipped our final standings tied for last place.
Speaker 7 (37:51):
We have Eddie and Emily with three points.
Speaker 4 (37:55):
Each second place.
Speaker 7 (38:00):
Second place goes to thor.
Speaker 4 (38:04):
And I won this week.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
Look at that? How about you? How about you? So
that means p and Greg congratulations you win.
Speaker 12 (38:12):
So wonderful Scott.
Speaker 1 (38:15):
Yeah, okay, makes sense. They always bet on the underdogs.
Say what's up to, Brett Michaels for me? Dude, all right,
it's about to happen.
Speaker 6 (38:23):
Would you say, would you say that you agree? Or
are you pissed? You're gonna hear now, You're gonna hear
now Eddie's top.
Speaker 1 (38:36):
Ten listed, top ten list? Oh boy, okay, here we
go you guys. I don't know if this rumor is true.
Obviously it's a rumor. But we're getting around that time
where they're going to announce who the super Bowl halftime
show is. You know, they do it like way in advance,
and then they talk about it forever and then you
(38:58):
sort of forget, like.
Speaker 2 (38:59):
Oh yeah, yeah, that bunny was going to be doing
that time.
Speaker 1 (39:02):
That's crazy. Uh So the rumor right now is the
frontboardunner to do the super Bowl halftime show is Miley Cyrus.
Miley Cyrus, you like that? Yeah, it doesn't sound like
Thor likes No, definitely.
Speaker 5 (39:19):
Doesn't like she's not. I don't know, man, Like I
don't how many dudes listening to Miley Cyrus Like I
know some guys that listen to Taylor Swift. I know,
got me and Jamie like Sabreena Carpenter.
Speaker 2 (39:33):
I do like that party in the USA song that.
Speaker 5 (39:37):
Was her first song.
Speaker 10 (39:41):
She's coming out to that closing with that to great
performer that she is she is.
Speaker 5 (39:46):
Yeah, she's really good on stage.
Speaker 10 (39:49):
No, just everything.
Speaker 5 (39:53):
She's just so unlikable to me, Like I just.
Speaker 1 (39:57):
Know Horizon, would you say I unlike, Well, there's people
like Sky like her, So I don't know, But is
she super Bowl halftime show worthy? Like that big? Musically
She's a big enough name, I'll give you that.
Speaker 4 (40:12):
But musically that last song she had that was a
massive hit, was it Flowers? Yeah?
Speaker 7 (40:18):
Like that was everywhere for the longest time.
Speaker 1 (40:21):
But yeah, but like think about, like, do you want
those songs because those are kind of slower tempo songs
as the super Bowl halftime show. You want bangers, right, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (40:30):
Bangs, That's what I'm looking for.
Speaker 1 (40:33):
So I put together my top ten acts who I
want to see do these super Bowl halftime show. Now,
these are acts that haven't done it before. Oh okay,
And I'm trying to be cool here. Don't look at
my list. I saw you trying to point great point.
I can't see without her glasses.
Speaker 4 (40:52):
Oh, don't do that right now.
Speaker 1 (40:54):
So I'm trying to be cool here because I could
just name all acts that I like, like you know,
acts or whatever. But there's I'm trying to think. Okay,
if this artist was named the super Bowl halftime show,
I think I'd be okay with that.
Speaker 4 (41:08):
So you want to be happy with it, but you
also want it to make sense for the general pop.
Speaker 10 (41:13):
Like if Eddie was the guy in.
Speaker 1 (41:15):
Charge of put me in charge. These are the acts
that I would pick who I think would put on
a good show that I would enjoy and that I
would think make a lot of sense and relevant too,
because I mean, if it was me, i'd say hall of.
Speaker 4 (41:26):
Oates, okay.
Speaker 10 (41:29):
So if it was only Eddie's list, and like.
Speaker 1 (41:31):
They'd get in there, hallw Notes would get in there.
Speaker 4 (41:33):
Michael Christmas, how.
Speaker 1 (41:35):
Great with that?
Speaker 2 (41:36):
I don't, but I know I recognized that's just that's
to me.
Speaker 1 (41:39):
That's to me, okay, So I think some of this
you'll be pleased with some of it, maybe not.
Speaker 2 (41:45):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (41:45):
We'll see coming in as my number ten act. I
want to see do the super Bowl halftime show. And
I'm talking right now ac DC.
Speaker 5 (41:56):
Wow. My wife just saw them at what was it
that festival a few years ago, the Rock Power Power,
and she said they were great and she would take
you still rock, Yeah, she would tell me if they
still weren't, there's still tour.
Speaker 3 (42:13):
She was.
Speaker 5 (42:14):
She loved it. They had a great times.
Speaker 2 (42:16):
Always a C d C. Which which is disappointing.
Speaker 6 (42:19):
How are you not really?
Speaker 1 (42:20):
I mean you come out thereunderstruck?
Speaker 10 (42:25):
Yeah, where's the super Bowl?
Speaker 5 (42:28):
It's shocking to me that a C d C. And like,
I don't want to ruin any other bands, but please don't.
Aren't haven't done it yet? Because at every Sunday NFL
stadium we hear those music before when you kick off
every everything's like three bands. I don't understand. Or at
college football games you hear three bands, and a C
d C is one of them. At NBA games you
(42:49):
hear three bands, a CDC is one of them.
Speaker 1 (42:50):
And if they weren't playing anymore, all right, I get it,
but they're still playing. People love them.
Speaker 10 (42:56):
I can't watch the video.
Speaker 6 (43:00):
He's a million but I mean, but he could still
get it.
Speaker 5 (43:03):
My wife swears at Power Supply they were amazing.
Speaker 1 (43:06):
I don't think and I know controversy Eddie Eddie, Edny Eddie.
They're not American. I don't think that we'd have the
same issues that we had with that. I'm just gonna say,
I think we're okay with but whatever. So ten a
c DC coming in as my number nine act. Who
(43:27):
I want to see do the Super Bowl halftime show?
And again, this is me trying to be cool. Why
not jay Z? Why not jay Z?
Speaker 5 (43:36):
Why you bring this up? Jay Z went viral over
the weekend because he did the Roots Picnic concert. I
don't know how people got tickets for this and he did.
Speaker 6 (43:43):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (43:44):
Jay Z's incredible and he did a freestyle dissing like
a bunch of people Drake. But I don't know he
should do. He's got a ton of hits.
Speaker 1 (43:55):
He was the one who's like he's kind of in
charge of putting together the acts of his name himself.
Speaker 5 (44:00):
If he uh, if he did it, it'd be awesome.
Speaker 1 (44:03):
Imagine the guests he could happen to me.
Speaker 5 (44:06):
I thought his roots thing meant that maybe he's dropping
something soon. But he's fifty six. I don't know what.
Speaker 4 (44:12):
Did you just see that Angus Young.
Speaker 1 (44:16):
Kipping around a lot.
Speaker 5 (44:17):
Of like the comeback to posing because he does drake.
We're like, he's so old. I'm like, it doesn't matter.
He's still great.
Speaker 1 (44:24):
Yeah, So I mean i'd be down to the watch
would be great.
Speaker 2 (44:28):
Yeah, I mean that's not bad.
Speaker 5 (44:29):
I don't know. Eddie was a jay Z.
Speaker 1 (44:31):
I like jay Z.
Speaker 6 (44:32):
I like jay Z. Look at him on my phone,
four song like you have ja Z, like you have
his number on your phone.
Speaker 1 (44:37):
I have four four songs the hits coming in as
my number eight act. I want to see you do
the super Bowl halftime show. This is where we may
get a little controversy. I know one person in the
room will love this. I don't know how the other
two will feel. What number eight Sabrina Carpenter, Oh stop now, Hollo,
(45:00):
hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on,
hold on her heart.
Speaker 2 (45:04):
Thank you, I got you, I got you, I got you.
Speaker 1 (45:06):
Hold on up.
Speaker 2 (45:06):
Let me explain.
Speaker 1 (45:07):
Let me explain, because I know there's people punching the
radio and he shut up, man, mad cap bro.
Speaker 2 (45:14):
Here's the thing about Sabrina Carpenter.
Speaker 1 (45:16):
I don't care for her music. I'm like, whatever about
her music, Like it's okay, it's okay, it's not my favorite.
But that girl can put on a show. She puts
on a hell of a show. Like you saw her
at Cuchilla. That that, I mean it was a spectacle.
It's a spectacle. Whenever I see her at award shows
and things like that, they're they're entertaining.
Speaker 5 (45:37):
She's funny, she's gorgeous, all the things.
Speaker 6 (45:40):
I'm I'm gonna say it. I'll say it.
Speaker 4 (45:42):
Of course, she's not bad to look at running around
the state naked.
Speaker 6 (45:45):
Look at that that she looks incredible naked.
Speaker 1 (45:48):
I sit there and watch.
Speaker 10 (45:49):
I respect that. I kind of agree a little bit
with Sky.
Speaker 2 (45:52):
I mean, she's one of the biggest acts in the world.
Speaker 10 (45:54):
I understand that she seems to be around a little bit.
Speaker 1 (45:56):
I would watch her a million times more than I'd
watched She's.
Speaker 5 (45:59):
Got way more hits than Milas Cyrus.
Speaker 1 (46:03):
I mean, believe google it.
Speaker 4 (46:07):
I will.
Speaker 1 (46:08):
You guys should fight google it. She puts on a
hell of a show. That's why I would like to
see her as the halftime show, So say what you
want coming up for me as my number seven act
I want to see do the super Bowl halftime show.
I'm kind of hyped on these guys, especially after I
saw them live and then I saw them perform before
the super Bowl this year. Green Day, Green Day brings it, dude,
(46:33):
that like, yeah, getting to see them at Alter ego,
I have a whole new appreciation for Green Day because
live they were incredible, Like they brought the house, man,
I mean, it was crazy, and they hadn't seen them
perform before the super Bowl this year.
Speaker 2 (46:49):
I was like, dude, every song.
Speaker 6 (46:51):
Was bank, Bank, Bank, Bank Bank, so high.
Speaker 1 (46:53):
Energy, and I was like, that's what I want out
of my halftime show. I just want to be entertained
for fifteen minutes.
Speaker 4 (46:58):
But I don't think people trust them to not make
it political, you know what I mean, what nobody wants
in the middle of a super.
Speaker 6 (47:04):
Bad made it political exactly, Sky Well, I.
Speaker 4 (47:08):
Don't think he made it political. He was just showing love.
Speaker 5 (47:10):
No, he like said something. But I'm not the biggest
green Day fan.
Speaker 1 (47:17):
But you even said I will did do very.
Speaker 5 (47:19):
Well at the beginning. So but I would put them
at ten. Well you would if they bring out Yeah,
I don't know, but you don't have to have a guest. Yeah,
if you're if you're a rock band, you don't have to.
Speaker 10 (47:31):
And if you're that it goes for ten minutes.
Speaker 5 (47:33):
How long is it take?
Speaker 2 (47:34):
Fifteen?
Speaker 10 (47:35):
Fifteen?
Speaker 1 (47:36):
They have a thousand hits?
Speaker 4 (47:37):
Right?
Speaker 5 (47:37):
I mean, this is Miley Sorrus apparently.
Speaker 1 (47:41):
Let it go coming in as my number six act.
Who I want to see do the super Bowl halftime show.
This is where you go, Eddie. You you said relevant and
this and that. I don't care. This guy goes out
on tour, he sells out every aren impossible, Okay, I
don't care. Think about it. Before everybody freaks out.
Speaker 4 (48:00):
I'm gonna breaking out already.
Speaker 1 (48:03):
This may be you go, boomer, what he's saying that
Billy Joel, Oh.
Speaker 5 (48:10):
The piano man, I don't know if he can though
I love it.
Speaker 2 (48:14):
Listen. I know he's going through some health issues or whatever.
Speaker 1 (48:17):
But obviously this I'm telling you, but I love Billy
Joel and Billy Joel.
Speaker 2 (48:23):
Why has he never been chosen.
Speaker 1 (48:24):
To do We went through that era of Paul McCartney
and Tom Patty and all these and I'm like, where's
Billy joel Man? All the hits start dropping my way
or whatever? I mean, come on, man, come on, that
was great that I would be I would be thoroughly
thrilled with this.
Speaker 11 (48:42):
I I haven't seen him on stage recently, so I
don't know what that would look.
Speaker 4 (48:46):
I don't know that I didn't say great, yeah, Sabrina
Carpenter run around him naked.
Speaker 1 (48:54):
And then definitely yeah, all right, we're now top five.
Here we go, number five act that I want to
see do the Super Bowl halftime show. And I don't
know why these guys haven't been asked to do it yet.
The food Fighters. You bring out the food Fighters. You're
going to give fifteen straight minutes of kick ass. Yes, okay,
and that's what I want. That's what I wanted a
(49:15):
halftime show, you know. And I don't need all the
bells and whistles of you know, you know, running around
doing all these weird you know, people floating in the sky, yeah,
you know, jumping off of the side of the building
and weird stuff.
Speaker 4 (49:29):
You don't need the choreography.
Speaker 1 (49:30):
Just just play the hits, man, like you give it
to me. Like I would love to see the food
fighters do that. So love to see food fighters do
the halftime show. Coming in as my four act, I
would like to see do the super Bowl halftime show.
Speaker 2 (49:45):
Eminem I am did the one.
Speaker 1 (49:50):
With Doctor Dre and you give one song, give me.
Speaker 5 (49:54):
All of, give me all of incredibly with incredible life.
Speaker 1 (49:57):
Look what this guy's wearing right now.
Speaker 5 (50:00):
Sure a merchant.
Speaker 10 (50:04):
Join him?
Speaker 5 (50:06):
What we did where we did the Thanksgiving halftime show
with Jack Black?
Speaker 1 (50:09):
Random again he comes out for like one song and
it was great.
Speaker 5 (50:13):
It was great because Jack Black was great and Eminem
came out incredible.
Speaker 6 (50:16):
I would be.
Speaker 1 (50:17):
Entertained from start to finish with Eminem. Yes, that'd be great.
Coming that's my number three. I don't think you'll do it.
Coming in as my number three act, I want to
see do the super Bowl halftime show. And this. You
may go, Eddie, that's crazy. I'm only number three. I'll
explain number three. Guns n' Roses, Guns and Roses, guns
(50:40):
and rows. Okay, so gn R is my favorite band
of all time, And you go, Eddie, why only three?
I understand Guns and Roses may not be everybody's cup
of tea and you just go, okay, but they're good.
They have so many songs and so many hits, and
they know how to put on a show, you know, and.
Speaker 4 (50:58):
So Metallica Day on the Greens.
Speaker 2 (51:02):
Nothing bigger, nothing, nothing bigger.
Speaker 6 (51:04):
You can't top that. You can't top that.
Speaker 5 (51:07):
I think jay Z would ask Sky to get the
band of the intro.
Speaker 4 (51:11):
She does the intro, the intro, she gets on stage,
roses Metallica Day on.
Speaker 2 (51:17):
The super What that lady?
Speaker 1 (51:21):
And then she just walks off that axle. Okay, I'm
not going.
Speaker 4 (51:29):
To shut up.
Speaker 1 (51:31):
These are my top ten acts I want to see
do the Super Bowl halftime show coming in at number two,
the biggest artist in the world, Taylor Swift number two,
number two. All controversy, but listen, I get it.
Speaker 2 (51:48):
Not again, not everybody's cup of tea.
Speaker 1 (51:50):
Maybe Taylor Swift Eddie really but you have to give
give her the flowers. She deserves it. She should do it.
It's weird she hasn't done it, and.
Speaker 2 (52:00):
They probably do. You know, we had that whole thing
of like she was a yes, there's.
Speaker 5 (52:05):
She doesn't want to do it until she says her
man retires because she doesn't want to have to perform
in a Super Bowl. He's in I don't have to
worry about that.
Speaker 15 (52:17):
Right now.
Speaker 1 (52:18):
But I mean, eventually you're going to get a Taylor
Swift half time show. It's just it's in the universe.
It's gonna happen. But she deserves it, she should do it,
so that would be massive. So that's my number two.
Whose number one?
Speaker 4 (52:30):
That's what I thought. I thought Taylor number one.
Speaker 15 (52:33):
Yea.
Speaker 1 (52:33):
My number one act I want to see do the
super Bowl halftime show is Metallica.
Speaker 4 (52:42):
Yeah, No, Metallica Day on the Greens, And that's one
of the bands I was talking about earlier, Metallica.
Speaker 5 (52:50):
I mean there's like ten of their songs. You hear
it every sporting event every year.
Speaker 2 (52:54):
It would be insane. It would be insane.
Speaker 5 (52:57):
Literally, they have ten songs where you hear it all
the time.
Speaker 1 (53:00):
And it's just garbage at this point, like, don't wait
until these guys are too old, Like put them out
there now, let's do it matter.
Speaker 5 (53:07):
If there's something to the fact that when they play instruments,
they're not plugged in because it's too when so whenever
there's a super Bowl halftime show, whenever you see drummers
or guitarists and stuff, those interests aren't plugged in because
it takes too long to set up.
Speaker 6 (53:20):
So they're like they're like.
Speaker 2 (53:22):
The figure they've done, they've done them.
Speaker 1 (53:25):
They can figure it out. But uh yeah, I don't know, man.
I just I think that there's too much of a
locked in of like, oh, we have to appeal to everybody,
mostly women because we want everybody to be watching this
and that sort of thing.
Speaker 2 (53:39):
But like, sorry, there's Metallica.
Speaker 1 (53:42):
You you put them on tour there every day, they
sell out everywhere, so they're obviously women in the audience
and women like rock music all crazy crazy, and so yes,
Metallica should be the super Bowl halftime show.
Speaker 2 (53:54):
It's crazy that they haven't done this. So there you go.
Speaker 5 (53:58):
I would have.
Speaker 12 (54:00):
I know you.
Speaker 6 (54:01):
I know you, buddy.
Speaker 1 (54:03):
So obviously Thor and I are big WWE wrestling fans
will always have been all that stuff. Well, one of
the guys that has been around for a really long
time is a guy named Bronze Stroman now Bronze Strowman is.
He's known as the Monster among men. It's quite it's
(54:24):
quite a nickname. And this dude, if aliens were to
come to Earth and where to pull me aside and
they were like, Eddie, can you please describe what a
wrestler would look like?
Speaker 2 (54:39):
It would be this dude because.
Speaker 1 (54:41):
He is just enormous and it's huge, not fat like
like Yoked Jack, big everywhere. And the reason why I
don't think it worked in the WWE because he no
longer wrestles, is because it's not believable. What's however, that
any human being could beat this guy? You know what
(55:03):
I mean? And so if he never is gonna lose it,
what's the point. And you know, and then when you
would see him lose, you go, wait, how that guy
beat that guy? I mean, look at that dude. So
he joins us right now this morning. How's it going, bron,
Good morning, I'm doing great.
Speaker 12 (55:18):
I heard you guys talk about me not getting fat.
You're exactly right up and busting my butt.
Speaker 1 (55:24):
Bron So Thor and I are massive WW fans, been
wrestling fans of our whole lives. But we're trying to
explain to the ladies here your size and it's it's
like I said, if an alien were to come down
and I were to tell them, this is what a
wrestler would look like, it would be you So tell
these ladies in here, how big you actually are?
Speaker 12 (55:44):
All right? Take take a Kodiak bear, remove all its hair,
a Greeks a Greek statue of a Greek god's head
on it, and bring it to life. And that's me.
Speaker 1 (55:56):
That's it. How that makes sense? That makes sense? You're
You're just a massive dude. You're known as the monster
among men for a reason. And before we get into
the show, because I can't wait to talk to you
about the show, because it's fantastic and we really want
you to come to San Diego, so hopefully that's that's
coming up at some point. But uh, you as a
w WE superstar, to me, it was a no brainer.
(56:20):
I mean, you look like what a wrestler would look like.
Why do you just think it? It had never really
it worked obviously for a long time. But then you
know you're come and go and explain. What do you
think is going on?
Speaker 12 (56:34):
I don't know. Sometimes I just think they're stupid, you
know that could be. I don't know, like as much
as much as like trying not at all just click
based suff And the reality of it is, I see
myself every day in the mirror, and I see more
of myself than the Whole World season. I look at
myself and I look what's on TV, and I go, yeah.
But you know, at the end of the day, it
(56:55):
is what it is. It's a show, it's a it's
a it's a play. I went there every week. I
had a part in the play. They handed me the script.
I did the best I possibly could every week. Sometimes
the script was great. Sometimes it really freaking sucks. But
that was my job to go out there and turn
you know, chicken crap and a chicken salad. And now
I've turned chicken crap in a chicken salad. It's turned
it into the number one food TELVI show on the planet.
(57:17):
US Say Network Everything on the Man You season two
per meters after SmackDown on USA networked this product.
Speaker 10 (57:22):
There, it is there.
Speaker 1 (57:23):
It is honestly bron If you were to ask my opinion,
as a wrestling fan for thirty forty years, as long
as I have been, I just think it's almost when
I look at you, I would never believe anybody could
beat you.
Speaker 2 (57:36):
I just don't think anybody could ever beat you.
Speaker 1 (57:38):
And so that may just be the problem is that
you know what, when you would lose, you just go, oh,
come on nobody is nobody's beating that.
Speaker 2 (57:45):
Guy, give me a break.
Speaker 3 (57:46):
And so it.
Speaker 12 (57:48):
Definitely was a task for them to book me. And
you can see that still in some of the things
that are doing right now. They don't know what to
do with big guys anymore. It's kind of sad because
that's what said. I mean, don't take anything wrong, take
anything away from some of those smaller guys with athleticism
of what they can do. But what made me fall
in love with ww with a larger than life human
beings that you can't see walking down the street, no offense,
like I said, to a lot of these guys and
(58:10):
stuff like that, but like, bro, you look like a
dude that's bagging my groceries at the grocery.
Speaker 1 (58:15):
That's so true.
Speaker 12 (58:15):
Yeah, Like I said, I grew up on andres and
Hogans and takers and these human beings that you don't
walking around on the street. And that's what made me
fall in love with wrestling. And you know, times change,
just like the business. That's why I'm not wrestling anymore,
and that's why I'm a food show host.
Speaker 1 (58:31):
Well, listen, man, you know you you do have to
think at times that you know, things happen for a reason,
and when that happened, you got released from WWE. This
show came about, and it is a like you said,
it's a massive success on the USA Network. Everything on
the menu for it's sure somebody who hasn't watched the
first season explain what it.
Speaker 15 (58:51):
Is you do.
Speaker 12 (58:53):
So the premise of the show is a lot of
people think it's like this this big food competition thing.
The idea of the show is not to go to
a restaurant and eat every like consume the whole menu.
While some restaurants I'm very capable of doing it. The
premise of the show is think about going out to
eat with your friends, family, whatever it is. You're at
a nice restaurant or whatever. You at any restaurant you
started looking at the menu, You're like, man, this looks good.
(59:14):
That looks good. What's that lady eating over there? That
looks good? What are they eating that looks good? Everything
looks so good. I can't make in my mind what
I want to eat. Well, I'm blessed and fortunate enough
that I don't have to and I can order everything
on the menu. So that's the idea of it, and
the whole premise too is season two as well. I
had guests along with me, where season one I did
it solo by myself and I meandered around and talked
(59:36):
to like the patrons in the restaurant. While that was
fun and all, now it's evolved even more in season two.
Now I have guests on which some guests I'd never
met before in my life and somebody'd been friends with.
So it's having that opportunity. Food is a vessel to
bring people together, and so it's brought me together with
new walks of life, rekindle my relationships with people that
I haven't met in a long time, and it brings
you together for an opportunity to have a conversation, to
(59:57):
have an experience, and that's what this show is ab out,
and the idea of it is getting, you know, stepping
outside your normal comfort zone, trying foods that you've never
tried before, having a conversation, talking to your friends, dissecting
the dishes, trying to understand the mad science that goes
through these amazing chefs heads in the presentation, and you know,
preparation of their foods and stuff like that. So it
(01:00:17):
turns into like it's got the podcast format, it's got
the foody format, it's got the good feels last format,
and then it's just all fun in general on it
and it really shines through. And like you said, it's
this opportunity where I get to show the world the
man behind the monster. Everyone knows Bronstrom and they know
the care that know what he's done, the weight of
destruction that he's cast in the last decade through professional wrestling,
(01:00:39):
sports entertainment, whatever you want to call it. This is
the opportunity I've got to show the world Adam Schaer,
the man behind the monster that you know, I made
a living fee five faux fumbing through my way through life.
But this is the chance that I get to show
the layers of this giant proverbial onion that I really am.
And it's really cool learning along the way because I
was never educated. I never went to school for this.
This was never even like my dream growing up. It
(01:01:02):
was something that I evolved and as I aged in
my life, I fell in love with and then blessed
traveling with WWE getting to walk, you know, every inch
of the earth and try all these different walks of life,
food in the culinary space and you know, my saying
in life is I'll try anything twice to make sure
I don't like it. So bringing that mentality to this
getting guests, Like every guest on every episode, I got
them to eat something they've never eaten before. So that's
(01:01:23):
really fun. And one of my favorite things to do
is taking people out to eat for that experience, getting
them to try new things, to step outside that comfort zone,
because you know, let's be real, we all get one
shot at this. There's so much cool stuff to do
out there. Why not try it all?
Speaker 2 (01:01:35):
Well, Bron, that's fantastic.
Speaker 1 (01:01:38):
I really want you to come to San Diego because
we have a lady on our show named Sky who
is the pickiest eater on the planet. Won't eat anything,
literally won't eat anything. So maybe if you guys go
out to eat, maybe you can get her to try
some new things.
Speaker 12 (01:01:53):
Absolutely well, here's the reality of Like I said at
an interview earlier, it boils down to the fans and
the beers at home. You guys tune in, you blow
the ratings up. You're going to force USA's hand us
do another season and Diego You're on the list.
Speaker 2 (01:02:08):
Okay, okay, good will you ever?
Speaker 1 (01:02:10):
Maybe think about taking this international because I mean, seeing
you eat wacky things, you know, in all these different
places would be cool, too freezy.
Speaker 12 (01:02:19):
I mean that that's that's the end goal. I was
such a fan of Anthony Bourdain and what he did.
While there's no way I'll ever be able to fill
his shoes and stuff like that, being able to you know,
kind of carry on his legacy per se and you know,
be the next person to do it, because if you
really think about it, that we haven't had any new
personalities in the food space. Some have passed, some have
(01:02:41):
timed out, and now it's an opportunity for a new
a new personality in the food space. Why not send
the biggest, baddest as open.
Speaker 1 (01:02:48):
That's it right there. The shows Everything on the Menu
with Bron Stroman. It returns for season two on Friday
this Friday, so definitely want to check it out on
the USA Network. Bron, Super fun to talk to you, man,
Thanks for joining us this morning.
Speaker 12 (01:03:01):
Thanks for having me a nice chat with you guys.
Hoping the weather's nice.
Speaker 1 (01:03:05):
Out there, you to but there you go, Bron's trom it.
That's a big dude, man, I'm telling you, it's crazy
and now the show.
Speaker 6 (01:03:14):
Is happy to bring you have some respectors. Midweek down Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:03:26):
Uh got a little bit of a cold all week,
and so the patience level is a little bit not
you know, a little thin, if you will. So it
worries me what he's going to be attacking here in
the midweek meltown. A little nervous.
Speaker 5 (01:03:40):
This is a little off the wall. Oh yeah, a
little off the walk.
Speaker 4 (01:03:44):
Next year on go next Oh maybe that'll make him happy.
Maybe this will be big game night.
Speaker 1 (01:03:49):
We'll see, Yeah, we'll see.
Speaker 6 (01:03:51):
I'm nervous, very nervy, guys, stop uh.
Speaker 2 (01:03:57):
Me me melting down about Jinglen Brunson next week.
Speaker 1 (01:04:00):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:04:00):
Maybe you know I wasn't a fan of the Giants
re signing Odell Beckham recently. Granted that's not what this
is about. But granted it's only like the Vet minimum deal,
so he may not even make a team, so we'll see.
Speaker 6 (01:04:13):
Who knows.
Speaker 5 (01:04:13):
But no, recently, I've noticed something that really bothered me.
And this You may find this stupid, but I don't care.
Speaker 2 (01:04:20):
You get annoyed by everything everything.
Speaker 5 (01:04:23):
I'm tired of athletes and celebrities who keep getting chances
when their careers are over to have more jobs and
stealing job for normal people. Here's what I'm talking about.
What here's what I'm talking about. I'm randomly watching a
baseball game the other day, okay, and they start talking
about somebody and.
Speaker 6 (01:04:40):
They're the commentators.
Speaker 5 (01:04:42):
It's not like a video montage, but the commentators are
kind of talking about this former athlete who's doing this,
who like, grinded really.
Speaker 6 (01:04:50):
Hard, defied the odds.
Speaker 5 (01:04:52):
That's how they make it seem like, defie the odds.
He's got this second career going and he's great at it,
and they can't believe it. And I'm thinking, man, who
are they talking about? Because it's because I'm watching. It's
the Yankee game I'm watching. They zoom the camera back
and they show a guy who's sitting there with a camera,
one of those big camera like they're doing Getdy images.
(01:05:16):
And I'm like, man, this guy must he must have
really loved taking pictures. Who is this It turns out
to be Ken Griffy Junior. Oh yeah, And I say
to myself, really, Griffy didn't grind to get there. You
know how he got there? He had six hundred and
thirty home runs, That's how he got there and I
said to myself, this is insane. Why does Griffy get
(01:05:37):
this job? And and exactly are.
Speaker 10 (01:05:40):
You sitting there taking photos?
Speaker 1 (01:05:41):
So and then and then I started game.
Speaker 5 (01:05:44):
He was at the All Star Game, He's at the
super Bowl, and he has this prime time job taking
professional photos. And people were acting like, I look.
Speaker 1 (01:05:52):
At the kid.
Speaker 5 (01:05:53):
How did he kids?
Speaker 1 (01:05:54):
It called it the kid? How did he get that gig?
Speaker 5 (01:05:56):
How hard did he work?
Speaker 6 (01:05:57):
He didn't work hard all.
Speaker 5 (01:05:58):
You know what probably really happened. He probably took a
picture of a bird, sent to his agent and goes, hey,
can you want to take pictures for Getty Images?
Speaker 1 (01:06:05):
Like that's what happened.
Speaker 4 (01:06:06):
So he didn't start at a little local paper.
Speaker 5 (01:06:10):
He wasn't like he wasn't like Peter Parker.
Speaker 6 (01:06:18):
I'm so tired of it, man, I'm really confused.
Speaker 5 (01:06:21):
It's such bs. It's like and there's another guy too
that does this, Randy Johnson, the Big Unit, the guy
who had almost five thousand strikeouts. And they think, these
commentators think it's so cute and funny to see the
big Unit out there taking pictures. Good for him, Yeah,
he takes pictures too. He's on the sideline and it's
like these these a holes who made millions of dollars.
(01:06:44):
You can't just retire. You can't just retire.
Speaker 1 (01:06:49):
No, it's not. It's a job. They get paid.
Speaker 5 (01:06:51):
They're getting paid robby. But what's crazy is you get
people that go to college to be a photographer. They
do four years at a school to get into thousands
of dollars of debt. They get out and they're good
at it, but there's Ken grivirgr taking a picture. So
you can't get that job. And it sucks and I'm
over it and it's not right.
Speaker 1 (01:07:12):
Man, over it, I am.
Speaker 2 (01:07:15):
I don't know, I don't even know what he happens.
Speaker 5 (01:07:17):
At all levels, and I'm over it and it's done
and it's not right. There are some former athletes who
actually like made a career post like Roger Stallback, he
played for the Cowboys, Hall of Famer, one of the
NFL greats. He got into commercial real estate and sold
this business like four hundred million dollars. He actually grinded
and did something. A putts like Ken Grifford Jr. Just
(01:07:38):
decided I'm bored, I need to do something, so I'm
gonna steal jobs from kids who need them. Kids and
take and take pictures.
Speaker 1 (01:07:46):
So I mean, couldn't it be the same thing with
you brought up Roger Staubuck. He's using his name to
become a successful businessman after his.
Speaker 5 (01:07:56):
Career technically, but you have to be good at it
to be a to do what he did.
Speaker 1 (01:08:00):
So do you think Ken is a terrible photographer?
Speaker 5 (01:08:02):
I think he's I think he's probably fine. But you're
stealing job Okay, stealing jing jobs. It's not right and
it doesn't just it's an our world too, baby, it's
an our world too. When was the last time we
had Fernando Tatis Junior on this show? Well, never won't
come on the show. No reason why we're ten egos
number one show.
Speaker 6 (01:08:23):
But guess who has Toddy on Mookie Betts with his
god awful podcast.
Speaker 5 (01:08:30):
I don't know if you've heard this before, but this
moron sits down mid season with other players and has
a terrible podcast.
Speaker 2 (01:08:39):
You're gonna give it Emily Upset.
Speaker 5 (01:08:42):
I know it's I know it's fair player watch, but
every former athlete, every former athlete or current athlete now
has a podcast because they think, well, people want to
hear what I have to say, and then what we do.
But but but like the count Broers art example, because
they're decent at it, Mookie Bets is terrible. So then
(01:09:03):
what happens is their buddies come on like Tatis or
I don't know, Manny Machado goes on there, and they
stop doing actual.
Speaker 6 (01:09:10):
Shows who know what they're doing and are entertaining and funny.
Speaker 1 (01:09:13):
So it screws us.
Speaker 5 (01:09:15):
No, no, it screws us because some idiot wants to
have a podcast. Just stay in your lane, bro, Why
do they need to steal more jobs? Why is the
gap getting wider and wider now with they're rich and
the poor. It's crazy. Podcasts started by like normal people
to do fun things, but then all the out of
work actors, all the loser athletes who wanted more of
(01:09:35):
a say in things, took it from us, and then
we watched them because they have better connections. It sucks,
and it doesn't matter how entertaining you are, and the
GAP's just getting wider and wider and wider.
Speaker 1 (01:09:46):
Telling you it's not good.
Speaker 6 (01:09:47):
It's not good.
Speaker 10 (01:09:48):
Fired up.
Speaker 4 (01:09:50):
I didn't even realize, well, I don't, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:09:53):
I I thought the Ken Griffy thing was just a hobby.
He likes taking pictures. I didn't think he was stealing
jobs from many.
Speaker 5 (01:10:00):
Oh they are, I don't know they are.
Speaker 6 (01:10:01):
I mean I said, get paid. I think so.
Speaker 2 (01:10:04):
You don't even know.
Speaker 5 (01:10:05):
I think so.
Speaker 1 (01:10:06):
So you don't even know.
Speaker 5 (01:10:07):
If he's actually I think he's getting paid.
Speaker 2 (01:10:09):
Wait, hold on a minute.
Speaker 1 (01:10:11):
You've done this whole thing and you don't even know
if he's actually stealing a job.
Speaker 5 (01:10:15):
You don't even know what he wouldn't get. He wouldn't.
Speaker 1 (01:10:19):
It's if it's a hobby and they let him give
him press pass.
Speaker 5 (01:10:21):
That'd be weird, but he doesn't. Why would they let
him beline with the press pas.
Speaker 1 (01:10:28):
He likes, he likes to take pictures.
Speaker 6 (01:10:30):
That's his thing.
Speaker 1 (01:10:31):
It's like a hobby. I think it's a hobby. I
don't think he's actually getting paid.
Speaker 6 (01:10:36):
Yes, Ken Junior gets paid for the photography work, thank god.
Speaker 4 (01:10:40):
Doesn't say how much he gets made.
Speaker 6 (01:10:42):
It doesn't.
Speaker 5 (01:10:42):
But he did it for the Masters and against press hourly.
I don't know he's hour but it's ridiculous picture.
Speaker 6 (01:10:49):
I don't think he called them. I feel like doing
this and.
Speaker 1 (01:10:54):
Yeah, I know it's weird to me that you don't
get Obviously, these guys are using the new thing, though
their likeness, their names, to get opportunity newer thing.
Speaker 5 (01:11:04):
It's like every out of work Amy Poehler. I like
Amy Poehler. She can't she's not really acting anymore. So
she started a podcast. She's not doing the research, she's
not she's not coming up with these questions. But she
won Podcast of the Year at the Golden Globe is
because she had Michelle Obama on its her first guest.
I mean, it's ridiculous, and the good podcast people that
actually do the work get screwed and just more of
(01:11:26):
a gap between the rich and the poor, more of
a gap.
Speaker 4 (01:11:34):
It is frustrating when these guys are already the billionaires.
Like maybe I'm I'm hoping Ken Griffy takes his Getty
salary and donates it to something. I doubt it, but like,
but you're right, because it is taking a job from
somebody who probably hustled in.
Speaker 5 (01:11:50):
The in the sports media world. What's gonna start happening
is is that you only get the guys like Mookie
Betts to have their buddies on, but they're never gonna
ask them hard hitting questions. They're gonna ask, Hey, why
can't you hit right now? They're never gonna say that,
so then we never get real answers. We never get
real answers, we never get real questions. It's just buddy, buddy.
And that's what Draymond Green is basically doing now in
(01:12:11):
the NBA. He's saying the sports media world sucks and
all the athletes shouldn't go on their stuff anymore, and
they should only go on other athletes stuff, which.
Speaker 6 (01:12:19):
Isn't good either, because then it's all fluff.
Speaker 5 (01:12:21):
Like I just said, so, I'm over I think the
conresces to get involved.
Speaker 10 (01:12:30):
Bigger.
Speaker 2 (01:12:31):
You're making no.
Speaker 16 (01:12:34):
Photographers, it's just over it, okay, all because I saw
a Ken Grifford Jr. Doing photography backwards hat he did
have a hat on kind of profess, great profession.
Speaker 2 (01:12:47):
He's the kid leaving alone.
Speaker 5 (01:12:49):
It just was so crazy. They were acting like how did.
Speaker 10 (01:12:51):
He get that job?
Speaker 1 (01:12:52):
Well, that's how did he do it? That's what I'm
going to think. We know how obviously. So if you
were listening earlier, you heard the slew of medical issues
(01:13:17):
that Emily is going through right now.
Speaker 2 (01:13:19):
Bodies is falling apart.
Speaker 10 (01:13:20):
It really is that. It really is.
Speaker 1 (01:13:23):
Neck issues, ankle issues, foot issues.
Speaker 10 (01:13:26):
I mean all over the place.
Speaker 2 (01:13:28):
It's a nightmare.
Speaker 1 (01:13:30):
Yeah, everything when you got to carry the family.
Speaker 10 (01:13:34):
Thank you for saying that we hit a certain things
start going.
Speaker 2 (01:13:38):
It's very true.
Speaker 10 (01:13:39):
It is true.
Speaker 2 (01:13:40):
It's not fun.
Speaker 10 (01:13:41):
It's fun.
Speaker 1 (01:13:41):
So you know you've been going to these different doctor's
appointments and things like that. Well, I guess something happened
recently out a doctor's appointment that is wildly.
Speaker 10 (01:13:50):
Embarrassing, really bad, Eddie, really really bad.
Speaker 6 (01:13:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (01:13:54):
So I've been trying to, you know, stay on top
of my health. We're all on a health so I
just don't like to use the word journey because it's watious.
Speaker 1 (01:14:04):
It's really rude.
Speaker 11 (01:14:06):
Sorry, sorry, Ed, But yeah, we're all we're all going
through it and I'm trying to stay on it and
stay with my doctor's appointments. And I recently had to
scheduled appointment at the dermatologist. I know, I'm trying to
work on my adult acne and why I still get
zits like I did when I was in high school,
it's just brutal and like nobody could really figure it out,
(01:14:27):
like what's going on?
Speaker 10 (01:14:29):
So that sucks.
Speaker 11 (01:14:29):
So that's kind of like why I scheduled the appointment,
but also while I'm there, I might as well get
the whole body scan of the dermatologist to look over
head to toe, make sure I.
Speaker 5 (01:14:38):
Don't have any.
Speaker 10 (01:14:40):
Look over my Molly Mulley molas and stuff like that.
Speaker 11 (01:14:44):
So I scheduled that appointment, and like I had had
this one lady. She was like a nurse practitioner and
she was fine. I thought she was kind of a
bitch to me, to be honest, I don't like her attitude.
Speaker 10 (01:14:54):
I agree, it was kind of weird. I don't know
something about her.
Speaker 1 (01:14:56):
You agree, I told you in the appointment with her too. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:15:00):
I like to accompany people in their appointments, like my husband. Yeah. No,
like cause I do the annual mole mole check as well.
So Emily and I were talking about it, and she
was telling me how unhappy she was with her dermatologists
because it was just like a refill of the prescription
and the dermatologists wouldn't give.
Speaker 7 (01:15:17):
It to her unless she like came in there physically.
Speaker 4 (01:15:20):
And it's like, but I ran out of my prescription
that you gave me, Why won't you refill it?
Speaker 10 (01:15:26):
It was thank you for remembering that sky.
Speaker 11 (01:15:27):
It was like the topical solution that I use for
like the bad sits I get, like on my chin,
and I had run out of it and I was
due to see her, and I messaged on the portal
for a refill and she writes back, I won't refill
it until you come see me. And I said, okay,
I understand. As soon as I can get is like
a month and a half out right, you're out now,
and so I even so we kind of argued back
(01:15:48):
and forth, and I had already not liked her demeanor
in the past, and I even sent her a photo
of the giant like underground like cystic acne I had
on my chin. I sent a photo of it. She goes, sorry,
I can't help until you come in. And so I
was telling Sky about that, and I'm sitting here like, really,
it's not.
Speaker 10 (01:16:04):
Like a medication that you ingest. It's like a topical thing.
You can't just schedule my appointment you could see.
Speaker 11 (01:16:10):
So yeah, So I got rid of her, and I
decided I wanted to see somebody else at the same practice.
So this was a new person, a new male dermatologist,
which is fine. Like in the past, the guy that
delivered my son it was a male, So like, I'm
fine seeing anybody, like, I don't have a preference.
Speaker 12 (01:16:29):
Guy.
Speaker 10 (01:16:31):
The guy, Yeah, like it didn't.
Speaker 16 (01:16:32):
Guy.
Speaker 5 (01:16:32):
We picked him up on the way to the hospital.
Speaker 1 (01:16:36):
I was weird.
Speaker 2 (01:16:36):
He worked at a better buzz.
Speaker 10 (01:16:38):
It was fine, dude, I don't know. He seemed like
he was qualified. He swooped him up.
Speaker 11 (01:16:45):
So like, I don't really care to have preference over
male or female. It doesn't bother me either way. Whoever's
like gotta see be the stoniest. Basically, anyone wearing a
white coat.
Speaker 6 (01:16:54):
Honestly, you've got.
Speaker 10 (01:16:55):
A stethoscope, that's a bonus extra.
Speaker 4 (01:16:58):
That's a farmist.
Speaker 2 (01:17:00):
But can you look at this thing on my book?
Speaker 10 (01:17:04):
Honestly, it doesn't matter.
Speaker 11 (01:17:05):
So I get this appointment to go see this male dermatologist,
and I go back with the nurse and she gives
me the gown and all this other stuff.
Speaker 10 (01:17:14):
You put it, you know, forward, the openings in.
Speaker 11 (01:17:16):
The back, take everything off, you can keep your underwear on.
So that's where we're at. And so then I'm sitting
there waiting and then in walks the doctor, and the
doctor walks in the door, and I'm immediately taking aback.
Speaker 10 (01:17:31):
This guy is absolutely gorgeous.
Speaker 11 (01:17:33):
Oh, gorgeous, gorgeous like model style, gorgeous, like dark hair,
dark eyes, Oh like, probably looks like he's in his
like mid thirties, mid to late thirties, like like, it
looks like it's an actor.
Speaker 10 (01:17:46):
It's not really shouldn't be a doctor er or.
Speaker 11 (01:17:52):
Walked in the door and I didn't see it coming.
And I'm not, you know, really put together. Neither does
it matter, but like immediately I'm like, this is kind
of weird.
Speaker 10 (01:18:00):
This guy is so hot.
Speaker 5 (01:18:02):
You say you don't care.
Speaker 10 (01:18:03):
I don't care normally, but.
Speaker 4 (01:18:05):
Most of them aren't that hot.
Speaker 10 (01:18:06):
No, none of them look like that.
Speaker 4 (01:18:08):
That's why you don't care.
Speaker 1 (01:18:09):
Is your hair up like this?
Speaker 11 (01:18:10):
I mean, you don't need to make a moment about
my hair being up at a bun right now? I
don't know that sour looking face.
Speaker 10 (01:18:15):
I'm just asking you're doing that right in front of it? Hey,
it actually was, I think it was. You don't need
to do that now.
Speaker 11 (01:18:24):
The nurse stays in the room the whole time, she's
taking notes, and I don't know, maybe that's a new
law that they have to have a male guy, a
male nurse, a male guy, a male doctor. I mean,
do they have to have stay in the room or something.
So she's in the room the whole time, which obviously
is fine. A three banger wanger.
Speaker 10 (01:18:46):
That's not happening. You don't need to play that that music.
I mean, I'm getting inspected.
Speaker 1 (01:18:53):
That's how it starts.
Speaker 10 (01:18:54):
A lot of you guys watch too much stuff on
the internet. Okay, really a bull, It's ridiculous.
Speaker 1 (01:19:07):
Okay. Sorry.
Speaker 11 (01:19:09):
So I'm sitting there, got my gown on, wearing a
hot pink thong.
Speaker 1 (01:19:15):
This is something that.
Speaker 7 (01:19:16):
Women wear, yes, doctor, appointment underwear.
Speaker 6 (01:19:22):
What are you doing you?
Speaker 4 (01:19:25):
I do that every day.
Speaker 5 (01:19:26):
There's your giant white underwears.
Speaker 4 (01:19:29):
Okay, yeah, what is this night of a club? And
there's no skid marks for.
Speaker 1 (01:19:39):
At the club?
Speaker 10 (01:19:41):
Wonder I chose for the day? Weird? Okay, I thought
went into it.
Speaker 4 (01:19:44):
Okay.
Speaker 11 (01:19:45):
So I'm sitting there hot doctor, and he starts looking out,
you know, my face first, and looks at all the
different things and no sunspots there, just my shoulders, looks
at the mole on my shoulder, all this other stuff
we're all good.
Speaker 10 (01:19:58):
Looks at my legs so my feet, looks at everything.
Speaker 11 (01:20:05):
He didn't gasp when he's on my feet. Okay, as
we discussed earlier, they're eight and a halfs. They just
look bigger than they are because I have very skinny ankles,
thank you very much. And then it's time to look
at my back, and that's what he says, Okay, go
ahead and stand up. So I stand up, and he's
sitting in his little like, you know, really really stool
(01:20:25):
thing that he's sitting on, wheeling around whatever I do.
Speaker 10 (01:20:27):
I always have those weel things. Why can't you just
get a regular chair, I don't know, you to be
able to wiggle around? Yes, I don't know.
Speaker 11 (01:20:33):
So he's sitting on that, and so I'm facing the
nurse who's at the computer, and my back is towards him,
and I'm standing up and I didn't. I realized I
didn't tie the thing right. It's the gown, right. It's
always like I never know which ties to match up,
and I feel like those are really tricky, and I
didn't tie it correctly.
Speaker 10 (01:20:52):
So the back was left open a little bit.
Speaker 11 (01:20:54):
Oh, so it wasn't really covered, but I mean, he's
got to look back there anyway totally. And that's when,
because he's so good looking, I got a weird vibe,
like like a vibe like now this is kind of uncomfortable,
like this is not the doctor patient vibe.
Speaker 10 (01:21:08):
And I think it was probably me making it.
Speaker 5 (01:21:12):
He was doing anything but weird that he wants his license.
Speaker 2 (01:21:17):
Yeah, you don't think he's gonna throw it all away
for Emily, for.
Speaker 10 (01:21:22):
A forty two year old woman with her hair and a.
Speaker 2 (01:21:24):
butN that hot pink thong.
Speaker 1 (01:21:29):
I might just say, yeah, you think so.
Speaker 11 (01:21:32):
I think I internally like started feeling weird and I'm
not like when I'm awkward and uncomfortable.
Speaker 10 (01:21:37):
It just exudes out of my like you could feel it,
like you could feel it, like it just is an aura.
I think that I give off, possibly, and that's.
Speaker 11 (01:21:44):
When I get a little bit nervous and uncomfortable and
I can't kind of black out, and I don't really
know what he's saying to me, and that's when i'm
what I think he says is okay, because he's looking
at my back, back, back, going down my back. Now
he's at my lower back, and I think he's saying, okay,
now pull down your underwear. And that's when I get
(01:22:05):
even more uncomfortable, going why would I need to.
Speaker 2 (01:22:09):
Appointment?
Speaker 12 (01:22:10):
No?
Speaker 2 (01:22:10):
Why would you ever need to pull down your underwear?
Speaker 11 (01:22:13):
Maybe like the tea part of the thong was blocking
some part that he wanted to look at, but at
that point he would just probably move it to the side.
Speaker 4 (01:22:19):
Yeah, that's what my my dermatologist does.
Speaker 5 (01:22:22):
She'll just a giant's covering from belly button down to knees.
Speaker 2 (01:22:29):
Just to get the jaws of life out.
Speaker 4 (01:22:30):
But she'll just pull the elastic back a little and
just look and then snap it back.
Speaker 5 (01:22:34):
You have the scene in the Hangover where they're at
the doctor's office and there's that old guy just staying
there in his underwear. What that's Scott?
Speaker 4 (01:22:46):
Can you not?
Speaker 3 (01:22:47):
But yes?
Speaker 4 (01:22:48):
But but that's at least what I've always experienced is
just a quick little peak and then done just to
make sure there's no moly moly Molly's or anything.
Speaker 11 (01:22:55):
Well, so I thought, he said, pulled down your underwear.
I pulled my thong down like I'm taking my underwear off.
Stop it, and it's like down like below my butt cheeks.
Speaker 6 (01:23:08):
He goes, well, what are you doing? He goes, Oh,
don't do that.
Speaker 5 (01:23:12):
Shut up.
Speaker 10 (01:23:13):
What stops me? Says?
Speaker 11 (01:23:15):
What, basically, what I'm doing is inappropriate? What are you
doing and like, oh my god, I'm so sorry, and
I pull them up. It is the most uncomfortable situation ever.
I made it even more uncomfortable though, with this hot
doctor and basically like he was upset at me, kind
of like why did you just do that? And so
(01:23:35):
apparently I misheard him and he just wanted me to
move it to the side really quick with my own hands.
Speaker 2 (01:23:40):
You want to give him the full show.
Speaker 10 (01:23:41):
I didn't want to give him the full show.
Speaker 5 (01:23:44):
I did take off your I don't know.
Speaker 7 (01:23:45):
I mean your cheeks were already exposed, bro.
Speaker 10 (01:23:47):
We already exposed. Everything was already exposed. So I mean that's.
Speaker 16 (01:23:55):
Enough.
Speaker 10 (01:23:56):
I don't tan that area. I don't tan that area.
Speaker 11 (01:23:59):
So I pull him up and he continues the exam
and it's just absolutely uncomfortable the entire when you knowrged,
I don't.
Speaker 10 (01:24:07):
I don't think he's fully engorged. You don't need to
say that.
Speaker 4 (01:24:09):
Well, And you know Emily like she gets hot, her
skin like bright red sweating.
Speaker 11 (01:24:15):
Of course, I'm sweating, like I'm sweating at the point
where I think like there was like sweat, like the
sticky the gown is sticky, and there's like a mark
on it. It's like really really bad. So it turns
out I got no skin cancer that but like, do
I go back to this guy?
Speaker 2 (01:24:32):
I kind of cancer? But you have a date?
Speaker 10 (01:24:34):
Yeah, I mean I don't have a data not single.
Speaker 5 (01:24:38):
Really so.
Speaker 10 (01:24:40):
But he's better than that other bitch, the one the doctor.
Speaker 2 (01:24:45):
He's already seen everything, seen it all.
Speaker 10 (01:24:47):
You've seen it all.
Speaker 5 (01:24:48):
Imagine that guy going home. Yeah, his wife believe this
chick was trying to was by going yeah and giant feet.
Speaker 11 (01:24:57):
He's not going to say that, Wow, oh Emily, Well
that's so I'm trying to recover from that.
Speaker 1 (01:25:03):
How could you think you over here?
Speaker 10 (01:25:06):
And I still stand by it? You said something along
those lines along.
Speaker 2 (01:25:10):
Why can't you never just admit you were wrong?
Speaker 10 (01:25:14):
Take your panties off?
Speaker 6 (01:25:16):
Did you just did?
Speaker 4 (01:25:17):
I don't think he said panties.
Speaker 5 (01:25:18):
By Maybe I drop your panties.
Speaker 10 (01:25:22):
I had that music from earlier.
Speaker 6 (01:25:24):
Did he ask you?
Speaker 5 (01:25:24):
How's the pressure?
Speaker 1 (01:25:26):
That's that's uncomfortable?
Speaker 6 (01:25:30):
It's time, guys, Wheel of food.
Speaker 7 (01:25:34):
Guys like nervous, slash excited.
Speaker 4 (01:25:37):
I don't know which way this is gonna go.
Speaker 6 (01:25:39):
We spind the wheel wherever it lands. Sky Guy's Wheel
of Food.
Speaker 1 (01:25:48):
The America edition. This is fantastic.
Speaker 4 (01:25:51):
I tell you, I like how happy this theme makes you.
Speaker 10 (01:25:53):
Guys.
Speaker 6 (01:25:54):
I mean, it's as good as it gets.
Speaker 10 (01:25:55):
You're like, we're all in the mode. We're celebrating, you know, America.
Speaker 4 (01:26:00):
Yes, it's I've heard about it once or twice.
Speaker 1 (01:26:02):
Yeah, it's a thing. So we decided that the theme
for a Sky's will of Food for America to fifty
for the next month or so will be celebrating American classics.
Speaker 4 (01:26:16):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (01:26:17):
This kicked off with Sloppy Joe's, which this guy didn't understand.
Speaker 11 (01:26:22):
I was confused about talking about putting lettuce.
Speaker 4 (01:26:26):
Some crispy lettuce.
Speaker 2 (01:26:28):
Elevate that, okay, And then we tried Hamburger helper.
Speaker 4 (01:26:32):
Oh oh that was some funky chemical noodle stuff.
Speaker 11 (01:26:37):
Guys.
Speaker 4 (01:26:38):
Noodles were created in a lab.
Speaker 11 (01:26:40):
Like I literally, those two things are on every America
table for as long as decades.
Speaker 10 (01:26:45):
That was insane, lesson.
Speaker 4 (01:26:47):
Yeah, I don't think that has anything to do with
political belief American food.
Speaker 12 (01:26:53):
I don't.
Speaker 6 (01:26:53):
I don't think America living.
Speaker 10 (01:26:56):
I don't americal.
Speaker 4 (01:26:58):
Okay, I think my politics.
Speaker 1 (01:27:01):
Nothing to do with open the borders, open your mouth.
That's not.
Speaker 6 (01:27:06):
We're doing is we're doing we're not doing.
Speaker 1 (01:27:08):
Okay, hey lady, what listen? What this is about America?
We're celebrating here, American classics all on the wheel. It's fantastic.
Speaker 4 (01:27:17):
It's not fantastic.
Speaker 10 (01:27:18):
It's nostalgic too.
Speaker 1 (01:27:19):
I love it like it's like I grew up with
eating Sloppy Joe's. I grew up eating helpers. Still making
for my kids to this day. I don't understand who
would hate that. Guided So this is going to hit
at one point, something's going to hit, and Sky will
love America again.
Speaker 6 (01:27:35):
Again.
Speaker 10 (01:27:36):
It doesn't mean like Sky love America.
Speaker 2 (01:27:38):
That's what we're trying.
Speaker 1 (01:27:39):
I don't try.
Speaker 4 (01:27:39):
It's not that I don't love America.
Speaker 1 (01:27:41):
So yes, the wheel has nothing but American classics on it,
so hopefully'll land on something.
Speaker 2 (01:27:47):
Sky will like. What here we go, let's spin the wheel.
Speaker 1 (01:27:56):
Okay, well not today, not today, Satan sorry, oh.
Speaker 4 (01:28:03):
No, it is the Satan dish.
Speaker 1 (01:28:04):
Yeah, what did Satan make?
Speaker 2 (01:28:06):
Satan made something that you are gonna probably quit the
show over. But this is a classic. It's a classic.
Speaker 5 (01:28:13):
Hey, you're gonna quit the show.
Speaker 1 (01:28:15):
It's possible, Hey, Baker, stop it. This is been on
American Kitten tables since probably the fifties, if not even
before then.
Speaker 2 (01:28:28):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:28:30):
It's been around forever. It is a classic. It is
something that has scarred my friend Emily. She's talked about
it before that her mom makes her eat this, and
made her eat this. At one point she could not
get up from the dinner table because she would not
eat this. And it has scarred her and her sister.
(01:28:51):
And they have a nickname for it, which I'm not
gonna say. It is landed.
Speaker 4 (01:28:57):
No, please don't say it. Please don't say.
Speaker 10 (01:28:59):
What I think you're about.
Speaker 6 (01:29:00):
I don't know what he's gonna say.
Speaker 4 (01:29:01):
Oh, you don't remember the story. I remember Emily telling
this story vividly because I remember thinking if I was
Emily as a child, I would have just moved out
and become homeless, like rather than have to sit at
the table and.
Speaker 15 (01:29:13):
Eat this.
Speaker 2 (01:29:15):
Tuna casserole, real tuna.
Speaker 6 (01:29:21):
I love tuna. Why not? I like it on a sandwich?
Speaker 10 (01:29:26):
I love can tuna. Tuna sandwich is delicious.
Speaker 1 (01:29:29):
Yeah, what is it about the tuna castle?
Speaker 9 (01:29:33):
Guys?
Speaker 5 (01:29:34):
Like I could do there?
Speaker 2 (01:29:36):
You go, same concept.
Speaker 10 (01:29:38):
It's it's so foul, it's just not it shouldn't exist.
Speaker 11 (01:29:42):
You shouldn't be mixing tuna noodles and like whatever else
they put in it.
Speaker 4 (01:29:46):
What do they put in it?
Speaker 3 (01:29:47):
Like?
Speaker 4 (01:29:48):
No, my mom has never made it clear it No,
I've never looked up a recipe for it to make
it home. Clearly, don't don't ever buy cantuna. It's not
a thing in my house.
Speaker 10 (01:29:58):
No, No, like a cold tuna sandwich.
Speaker 1 (01:30:04):
Just meet me. Do you not know her? Yeah?
Speaker 10 (01:30:07):
Really healthy for you?
Speaker 4 (01:30:08):
I'm mixed with mayo and stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:30:09):
Screw you, I hate Oh really yeah, I have so
much despise. I get it, but it's it's not for me,
I do. I've never liked tuna, so this was not
really a staple in my house. Every once in a
while I think like my grandma made it, and like
we'd go over there and be like, oh.
Speaker 10 (01:30:30):
No, when you knew that she was having that.
Speaker 6 (01:30:32):
It's the worst disastrous city there.
Speaker 4 (01:30:36):
It seems I don't know pamburger helper for tuna.
Speaker 2 (01:30:39):
There is tuna helper. Oh did you know that? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:30:42):
That's yeah, there's tuna helper. But that's not what this
is a real tuna.
Speaker 4 (01:30:47):
Cast role, Like there's no pre made packet You're I.
Speaker 1 (01:30:50):
Don't think.
Speaker 2 (01:30:52):
Emily what did you?
Speaker 6 (01:30:53):
What did you?
Speaker 2 (01:30:53):
Guys, you and your sister call your moms.
Speaker 11 (01:30:55):
Sorry, I'm sorry to advanced guy because it's gonna stick
in your mind while you're tasting the dish.
Speaker 10 (01:31:01):
It was bog castle because whatever was in it.
Speaker 11 (01:31:05):
And then now as an adult who knows about I
think maybe like cream of mushroom soup was in it
or something, because like I think there's literally like little
bits of brown mushrooms that made it look like something else,
like it was.
Speaker 2 (01:31:19):
Yeah, and you were forced to sit at the table, like.
Speaker 6 (01:31:21):
I remember, led to your parents separating. Your dad couldn't
take it anymore.
Speaker 11 (01:31:25):
I think my dad liked it. Oh my god, I
think my dad liked it. No, that's I don't think
the tune of Noddle Castle is why my home was broken.
There's other things going on.
Speaker 10 (01:31:33):
My dad liked it.
Speaker 11 (01:31:34):
My sister and I like it like I would. I
couldn't get it down. Let's just say that it was
really hard to get Sorry, very dramatic.
Speaker 4 (01:31:41):
My eyes are starting to water and I haven't even
seen it yet. I just just tearing about it is.
Speaker 2 (01:31:48):
And so you've never had tuna castroll in your life, like,
never taste it and.
Speaker 10 (01:31:51):
We've never seen it like on a table and honestly
never seen it.
Speaker 4 (01:31:54):
No, I've never seen it.
Speaker 1 (01:31:55):
You know you didn't grow up with it. I would
assume you. Yeah, me too, kind of Ye, that's because
it's kind of like one of those things. It's like
easy to make and parents who work, you know, you
just kind of throw it in the oven and then
it's done and whatever.
Speaker 2 (01:32:08):
That's why it's an American classic.
Speaker 5 (01:32:10):
It's cheap too, so like that's another very cheap I
don't know why my mom didn't like it.
Speaker 6 (01:32:15):
Yeah, okay, scary, what's wrong?
Speaker 10 (01:32:18):
This is such a sad day.
Speaker 1 (01:32:20):
So you've never had a tuna castle or tuna melt
or anything like that.
Speaker 4 (01:32:24):
My mom growing up would make tuna melts, and that's questionable.
So it was kind of like make your own tuna melt,
and so I would take that well. So like she'd
put out like toasted English muffins the tuna mix pickles
and cheese, and then you'd make them yourself, and then
(01:32:46):
she'd throw them in the oven and basically I would
put like a teee like you couldn't even see the tuna.
It was basically a pickle cheese melt and that for me,
that's better. That's better than what what's going on there.
So that's like the closest I've ever.
Speaker 10 (01:33:05):
Got to that world.
Speaker 1 (01:33:06):
All right, well here we go Sky's first ever bite
of a tuna cast role, which, man, that screams America.
I don't think I'm excited for that.
Speaker 4 (01:33:18):
The top are those potato chips?
Speaker 10 (01:33:21):
Like potato chips. That's what my mommy's top it with.
Oh really like the way the rest?
Speaker 1 (01:33:27):
Oh that I was not expected.
Speaker 10 (01:33:31):
You like potato. I think there's peace of.
Speaker 1 (01:33:36):
Okay, holy god, well he liked potato chips.
Speaker 2 (01:33:39):
Here, there you go.
Speaker 7 (01:33:40):
Here's a positive.
Speaker 5 (01:33:44):
At seven twelve in the morning.
Speaker 2 (01:33:48):
I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
Speaker 4 (01:33:49):
There is once like positive because again I've never seen
this dish before, so in my mind I was thinking
it was going to be more like soupy creamy for some.
Speaker 2 (01:34:00):
Reason, like boogers. Well that's what Emily says.
Speaker 1 (01:34:04):
That's what says.
Speaker 7 (01:34:08):
So that's what I was envisioning. This potato chip topper
is is a plus.
Speaker 10 (01:34:13):
I'm not going to load up before you.
Speaker 1 (01:34:17):
Busy.
Speaker 4 (01:34:18):
You have you have no.
Speaker 5 (01:34:20):
You're right, your struggle the dis coordinator.
Speaker 10 (01:34:27):
That is a good point.
Speaker 4 (01:34:28):
But that is a good point, but be nice to
your friend. You may like it, Eddie, I'm going to
slap you, pie.
Speaker 10 (01:34:37):
It's really the smell is a lot.
Speaker 1 (01:34:39):
It's very pungent.
Speaker 7 (01:34:42):
My like, literally my eyes are watering just because of
the smell in this.
Speaker 3 (01:34:46):
You may like it.
Speaker 4 (01:34:48):
You can't even say it with the street.
Speaker 6 (01:34:51):
I just watched it. You can get it out of
the studio.
Speaker 1 (01:34:55):
This could be the roughest one of all time, which
is saying it is or or you may like it.
Speaker 4 (01:35:04):
Shut this stupid mouth. Oh, I feel so sad.
Speaker 1 (01:35:08):
You're defeated before you even get in there.
Speaker 4 (01:35:11):
I feel sad for the children of America.
Speaker 1 (01:35:13):
There's people that love this. I bet you my wife
would love this. I bet you she grew up with this,
and I bet you she would love this. She's tunas
you know whatever, not often, but I mean when she
when she likes I'm rethinking my friendship.
Speaker 2 (01:35:26):
I guarantee you if I text her right now, she
would say I.
Speaker 4 (01:35:28):
I grew up with Well, she should come in here
and have a bite of.
Speaker 3 (01:35:31):
This for me.
Speaker 2 (01:35:32):
Okay, I'll call her right now.
Speaker 10 (01:35:33):
Okay, thank you, We'll go to We're gonna wait for
your wife.
Speaker 1 (01:35:37):
Alcohol go ahead by coordinator let's go ahead and digg
in p I would say spoon makes more sense.
Speaker 10 (01:35:44):
It's getting more and more pungent as like the moments pass.
Speaker 2 (01:35:47):
You're going right in the middle, like the file A.
Speaker 7 (01:35:50):
Come on, we can't go to the side with a
bunch of chips.
Speaker 6 (01:35:53):
On is that cheese?
Speaker 2 (01:35:55):
What is that cheese? Tuna?
Speaker 1 (01:35:58):
Peas potatoes? I don't know what the hell is going
on here. This is the wildest thing I've ever seen.
All Right, that's not bad.
Speaker 2 (01:36:07):
That's not bad.
Speaker 10 (01:36:09):
Can you see it's brown?
Speaker 2 (01:36:12):
It is supposed to be pink.
Speaker 4 (01:36:13):
I thought the can was white, but when it's cooked,
I think it turns that around the brown piece.
Speaker 10 (01:36:21):
I mean, it's that is That's like what I don't
even eat dark meat chicken.
Speaker 2 (01:36:25):
Can you grow up? Can you grow up?
Speaker 1 (01:36:27):
This is for America? Do it for America? Come on,
we're gonna move to citizens Hey, listen, foods in other countries?
Speaker 2 (01:36:36):
Do you remember how that went? Okay, let's go here
we go doubt.
Speaker 1 (01:36:40):
That's a massive coffee.
Speaker 2 (01:36:43):
Okay, that's so. That's makes so much closer.
Speaker 4 (01:36:46):
I want to throw off because water won't cut. Whatever's about, dude?
Speaker 1 (01:36:50):
Whatever mixing coffee and tuna is bizarre. Okay, all right,
here we go down the hatch, Tuna casserole three two one,
go get it in, Get in. You're a big girl,
Get it in.
Speaker 2 (01:37:05):
I already said.
Speaker 12 (01:37:08):
She Oh.
Speaker 6 (01:37:12):
She's holding it in her mouth. Don't hold it in
your mouth?
Speaker 9 (01:37:15):
Are you insanely sitting at the dinner table boogers.
Speaker 13 (01:37:21):
Doing?
Speaker 6 (01:37:21):
What is she doing?
Speaker 1 (01:37:22):
Hey, you're not getting up from the table until you
finish that whole thing.
Speaker 6 (01:37:27):
Oh you're not so nasty.
Speaker 1 (01:37:30):
Oh, sky's faces? This is dude, what is happening?
Speaker 12 (01:37:37):
Throw up?
Speaker 1 (01:37:37):
You're fine, grow up, Come on, come on? Oh man, Okay,
why is.
Speaker 3 (01:37:45):
It?
Speaker 12 (01:37:45):
I don't know?
Speaker 2 (01:37:46):
I mean, why was this so hard?
Speaker 1 (01:37:48):
It's like the peer in there. You know, she's swishing
her mouth with gay go down.
Speaker 2 (01:37:59):
It's swallow.
Speaker 1 (01:38:04):
Swollen, okay, American classic?
Speaker 3 (01:38:11):
Do you?
Speaker 4 (01:38:13):
Oh that was so fishy and so okay?
Speaker 2 (01:38:16):
So you don't like it?
Speaker 12 (01:38:17):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (01:38:17):
And I got like, no potato chip.
Speaker 10 (01:38:20):
I was really hoping. I knocked a couple of.
Speaker 2 (01:38:23):
To be clear, not a fan. I will wow.
Speaker 1 (01:38:28):
All right, Well maybe next week America. We'll get you
next maybe next week. So doors uh, getting ready for
the freedom two fifty White House card. I didn't know
there e.
Speaker 2 (01:38:43):
Coon McGregor or something. I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:38:45):
Whatever happens, they're going to keep the structure up because
it's just nice as the Eiffel Tower.
Speaker 1 (01:38:49):
He's pretty sweet.
Speaker 5 (01:38:50):
It is pretty sweet as nice as theiff.
Speaker 2 (01:38:53):
No joke, door is training tai.
Speaker 12 (01:38:57):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (01:38:58):
He decided on a whim to to you know, go
to a gym and try it out.
Speaker 6 (01:39:02):
Oh sorry, go ahead?
Speaker 1 (01:39:03):
Oh no, Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:39:04):
I've been working out with weights for since I was
in like eighth grade, and I just on and off
and I just got so bored and and and I
still do. I still because because muay Thai is just
more cardio and and and learning self defense. And then
when I had my son was born, I just wanted
to learn to defend myself, defend the family. And I
(01:39:26):
want my son. I want my son to go into
this as soon as he's old enough. I think, I think,
I think in schools they should teach self defense classes
to everyone. So I'm making him do it. He doesn't
have a choice. This is gonna be like going to school.
He has no choice. He has to do it.
Speaker 1 (01:39:42):
Do you do you have to do muay Thai or
is it jiu jitsu or anything else?
Speaker 5 (01:39:46):
I am enjoying mutai. But he can if he wants
to do jiu jitsu, he could do he could do
karate whatever he wants. But he for as long as
he's in school, he has to do this because I
think it's gonna teach him like confidence. I think it's
gonna good for his mental health. It's going to learn
to defend himself, you know people, because kids are going
to try to you know, kids are kids and somebody
(01:40:06):
says something to him or pushes him or touches him,
or he's in a situation I want. I wanted to
be able to defend himself. So I wish I would
have done it at a young age and stuck with
it because I did do When when the Three Ninja
movie came out back the day I did do karate, I.
Speaker 2 (01:40:23):
Just finished.
Speaker 6 (01:40:25):
I just wish I would have stuck with it. It's
for the movie.
Speaker 5 (01:40:27):
He loves Yeah, three Ninjas.
Speaker 4 (01:40:30):
I don't know what.
Speaker 11 (01:40:31):
There's a girl, Rocky is one of the boys a
class because my name is Emily. Everybody used to say
when I was in school, it was a classic.
Speaker 1 (01:40:39):
So I don't think it was a classic. It was
it was okay.
Speaker 5 (01:40:43):
So those things and also then I started thinking, well,
if my son does this and I'm not doing it,
I don't be able to beat me up.
Speaker 1 (01:40:49):
So that's what you think.
Speaker 5 (01:40:51):
Ever I put on Instagram. So I put on Instagram,
does anybody no?
Speaker 6 (01:40:57):
Places and p ones are awesome.
Speaker 5 (01:40:59):
I had a million people hit me up because San
Diego is a big mixed martial arts area. As Eddie knows,
we must have fighters in all the time. And then
one of my friends hit me up about Steal m
m A, which is down the street from us, and
their classes are at noon, which is perfect for us
because I'm up a lot of classes.
Speaker 6 (01:41:16):
In the morning or in the evening. Hard to do.
Speaker 5 (01:41:18):
So I go to Steeling May right down the street
from us, and they're awesome. So I've been doing moy
tie with them and it's been great. And I'm very
like a deer learning to walk.
Speaker 1 (01:41:28):
Social video. Yeah, yet a social video because he wants
it to be like beginning. Then he'll do the after
when when he's knocking fools out with head kicks.
Speaker 6 (01:41:40):
I'm not not.
Speaker 5 (01:41:42):
I don't want to fight, but if I have to,
I will.
Speaker 1 (01:41:44):
Well, I don't.
Speaker 6 (01:41:47):
I don't like for a long time, I don't like
being punched or kicked.
Speaker 4 (01:41:50):
But like I, but I don't think anyone does know
any some people do.
Speaker 1 (01:41:55):
Guy the face man, what's up?
Speaker 12 (01:42:01):
So I so? I?
Speaker 3 (01:42:03):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (01:42:03):
So I started with them with with coach Carl down
there and he's awesome. And the first few times I went,
it's very humbling because I don't know what it is
about fighting. Everyone thinks that they know how to fight,
and I don't. I'm not good at fighting, but I
feel like I'm gonna go there. I'm gonna know how
to punch and I have no idea.
Speaker 1 (01:42:21):
Is technique to actual fighting of you know how to
throw a correct punch, Like you can throw a punch
great and knock somebody out, But is it the if
you're in an actual fight, you know with professionals they'll
kill you. Well, yeah, they actually know how to dodge
and throw a punch and defend. Yeah, I think that
is the mod.
Speaker 5 (01:42:41):
And when I get there, so I do Tuesdays and
Thursdays and Fridays and then I go to my regular
gym the other days give my weights in, so I
gotta get the waits in. So when I go there,
there's they have like a mixed martial arts class going
on from eleven to twelve with like legit fighters and
you just watch them, of these people and they are
no joke and it's the most humbling thing. And I've
(01:43:04):
never felt like I played sports. I played baseball, basketball, football,
when I didn't know what I was doing, I still
felt like I'm athletic enough to figure it out.
Speaker 6 (01:43:10):
With fighting. If I don't know what I'm doing and
I throw a.
Speaker 5 (01:43:12):
Kick, I feel like the biggest wossy one, Like I
throw a kick and I don't know what I'm doing,
and they're like, all right, I do three minutes of
shadow boxing and I'm just looking around. I'm like kind
of knowing. So I'm just learning though.
Speaker 6 (01:43:24):
And they're really good at the gym of teaching you
and making.
Speaker 5 (01:43:27):
Sure that you feel comfortable, which is cool because a
lot of gyms i've heard aren't like that.
Speaker 6 (01:43:31):
They don't care.
Speaker 5 (01:43:32):
So one of the things we do is we do
it in the beginner's class because I'm in the beginners group,
and there's also a intermediate group, the immedia group.
Speaker 6 (01:43:39):
That's my goal.
Speaker 5 (01:43:40):
One day, I want to be in the intermediate group
one day. I don't know if I ever get there,
because it seems insane, but I want to get there.
Speaker 6 (01:43:46):
I'm in the beginners group.
Speaker 5 (01:43:47):
Now there's some people in the beginners group who I
think should be in the intermediate group, but they haven't
made the jump yet for some reason. So it was
a couple of days ago.
Speaker 10 (01:43:58):
Do you get like belts that's I don't like ranks
like a black belat, or you get stripes.
Speaker 6 (01:44:04):
I don't think so.
Speaker 5 (01:44:05):
No, I don't think so.
Speaker 6 (01:44:06):
I haven't seen that. You do know who's better? There's
there's some people there.
Speaker 12 (01:44:10):
Man.
Speaker 5 (01:44:11):
I would never never want.
Speaker 2 (01:44:12):
To go to Thailand. You'll see what's up.
Speaker 10 (01:44:14):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (01:44:16):
A lot of the coaches that Steele may have gone
to Thailand and done that training. It's no in They
wake up at like six am, run a five k,
train for three hours, eat lunch, run another five k,
and then train.
Speaker 2 (01:44:27):
For three hours.
Speaker 1 (01:44:28):
It's crazy, and get hit with kendo sticks for an
hour and then in their shoes. Yeah, thank you, it's crazy.
Speaker 4 (01:44:35):
Want to do I'll just take a nap.
Speaker 10 (01:44:37):
Hitting the shoes that's the worst. He never going to
hit me in the shins with a stick.
Speaker 5 (01:44:41):
There's this guy there before hey, and he kicks he
like I don't. He kicks he'll show you how to kick,
and his chins feel like tree trunks.
Speaker 1 (01:44:50):
Yeah, because that's what he does all days, kick trunks.
He kicks trees.
Speaker 5 (01:44:56):
And he'll like it's like he's facusing on me, like
but very lightly, and I'm just like.
Speaker 1 (01:45:02):
And he's like half if you get kicked, they say,
it's like taking a baseball bat and just swinging it
at your leg and then and then try to continue.
Speaker 6 (01:45:13):
It's crazy.
Speaker 10 (01:45:14):
I hit a coffee table with down.
Speaker 6 (01:45:17):
It's crazy.
Speaker 5 (01:45:19):
It's so the first couple of times I went, it
was just kind of finding my bearings and like the
first couple of times I got punched in the face,
it was like whoa, Like this is crazy, and it
was very light. So I was there a few days
ago and they do a boxing course as well, which
is just similar, but muay Thai is all as your
as your hands, elbows, knees, and feet. Boxing obviously just hands.
So I was doing the boxing and there's really no
(01:45:41):
beginner class with boxing. It's just everyone doing stuff, right.
So we're doing the boxing class and there's a couple
of new people like me, and we're kind of just
learning the combos because the combos are like a jab
is one across as two, and that's how kind of
how you're count. And I'm learning, and it's very mentally
exhausting because you're all over the place. So we're switching
partners around and I'm learning. And there's a couple of
(01:46:03):
people that take light spar light sparring. There's a couple
of people that go like mild sparring, all right, And
part of it, part of me likes it because it
teaches me keep my hands up because for some reason,
I don't know if it's a natural thing. I always
drop after I punch. I always don't bring my hand
out to my face. You get knocked out right, So
(01:46:24):
you want to keep your hands up. So I start
sparring and and with people. And there's a couple of
people that are, like I said, light, and there's a
couple people that are going heavy. Well I go to this,
they go switch and I switch to a partner.
Speaker 1 (01:46:36):
And this girl she's like's not it's not like separated,
just anybody else, because there's.
Speaker 5 (01:46:42):
Some there's most women there can beat the crap out
of me. I mean most women there, most trained fighters. Yeah,
it's crazy. So there's this girl, she's she's like half
my size. I want to say, she's probably five four,
and she's you know, she knows what she's doing. She
knows what she's doing.
Speaker 6 (01:46:59):
And I got the reach advantage.
Speaker 5 (01:47:01):
I got the reach. So she's like really close to me,
like somebody. Spacing is a part of fighting, and he
knows more about this than I do. And I'm learning
my spacing. I don't know because if you get too close,
you don't punch right. And it's the whole thing I'm learning.
So she's really close to me, and we're supposed to
be light sparing, but this she knows what she's doing,
(01:47:22):
and she starts to we start to do the combos,
and she starts really whacking the face, like really hard
and like probably a medium spar it's supposed to be
light sparring is like medium is like you're really like
and she's like whacking me in the face and it's
hitting me.
Speaker 1 (01:47:40):
And it's a girl.
Speaker 6 (01:47:41):
It's a girl.
Speaker 5 (01:47:42):
And she's really close to me because she doesn't because
she wants to hit me because and I have the
reach and I kind of haven't done you're supposed to
when you're when you're shadow boxing or spar you're supposed
to be moving around.
Speaker 6 (01:47:54):
I'm kind of just standing in one place.
Speaker 5 (01:47:57):
Got him with your head, you got with your body,
and I'm just getting hit and over and over again. Yeah,
and then I'm coming back to her, and so I
feel I don't want to hit her, but also like got.
Speaker 2 (01:48:10):
To give her a receipt.
Speaker 10 (01:48:11):
Yeah, that's what you're there for.
Speaker 4 (01:48:12):
Yeah, but light sparring is light spark And I think
you probably just have an instinct as a man of
like punch a girl.
Speaker 10 (01:48:20):
Yeah, you don't punch a girl in the face.
Speaker 5 (01:48:21):
And she's half my size. Yeah, So I'm like waiting
and then like she hits me again, and then I'm
kind of getting annoyed. I'm annoyed to myself because I
got to keep my hands up, and then I'm annoyed
that like.
Speaker 1 (01:48:34):
You're getting beat up.
Speaker 5 (01:48:35):
I'm like looking around, like somebody say something hard, lights
faring here. So she hits me again, and then it's
my turn. I go, I'm going for it, and I
kind of I get lucky. It's like when you play
cards for the first time and you get a good
hand and you kind of win. That's kind of what happens.
And I go with a jab and I her right
in the face, right in the face. And then but
(01:48:58):
then I had kind of hard okay, I make contact
and kind of hit her okay, and she and I
could tell that she was fine with it, but I
also felt like, should I not have done this?
Speaker 10 (01:49:09):
She's you know what I mean, apologize?
Speaker 6 (01:49:12):
I went. I always apologize. Whenever I don't know what
I'm doing.
Speaker 5 (01:49:16):
I always say I'm sorry. I don't know what I'm doing.
Speaker 6 (01:49:17):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 5 (01:49:19):
I don't know if that annoys people. I'm sorry, I'm
new to this, I'm sorry. I also try to have
conversations mid sparring.
Speaker 6 (01:49:26):
Dude, sparring. I'm like, so, how long you been doing this?
Shut this guy up?
Speaker 12 (01:49:35):
A yeah?
Speaker 5 (01:49:36):
And then she kind of looked at me and starts
hitting me kind of harder.
Speaker 6 (01:49:44):
She can beat me up.
Speaker 5 (01:49:46):
And then also I'm like, she's also going too hard.
Should I tell somebody to tell.
Speaker 6 (01:49:50):
Her you don't need it, You don't need to.
Speaker 1 (01:49:54):
That's a movie.
Speaker 6 (01:49:55):
That's aisy boy move.
Speaker 1 (01:49:56):
Okay, she's really hitting me. Okay, So my whole thing
is there's a people.
Speaker 6 (01:50:01):
Her is one of them.
Speaker 5 (01:50:02):
When I get better, we're gonna actually spark.
Speaker 6 (01:50:04):
I'm ready for it.
Speaker 2 (01:50:05):
I'm gonna take I'm gonna fight that girl.
Speaker 5 (01:50:09):
And another guy there that went too hard. Get ready
for it?
Speaker 6 (01:50:11):
Give me a year.
Speaker 2 (01:50:12):
She made the list.
Speaker 6 (01:50:13):
She made the list.
Speaker 1 (01:50:15):
Give me a year.
Speaker 6 (01:50:16):
Eric, Alright, you're ridiculous.
Speaker 1 (01:50:35):
So it is free Comedy Friday today and we are
very excited to have our next guest in Troy Bond,
who is going to be performing at the American Comedy
Company this weekend. A couple of shows tonight, a couple
of shows tomorrow night. I want them already sold out though,
so sorry about that. Sorry about that, Troy. Yeah, you
can leave if you want. I don't blame it, but yeah,
(01:50:56):
this is a very cool Troy. Thor is a massive
fan of yours. He's been talking about you.
Speaker 6 (01:51:01):
For a month. I've wanted to hear see it.
Speaker 2 (01:51:03):
Does it HiT's differently?
Speaker 3 (01:51:05):
Right?
Speaker 2 (01:51:05):
It HiT's differently?
Speaker 12 (01:51:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:51:07):
So Thors go into your show no matter what. He's
been telling me about you for a while. And I
feel like it's weird that you and I don't know
each other already, that we're not already best friends. Because
here are the three things that I love the most
in life. Okay, A number one, As you can see
I'm immediately I'm a massive Star Wars fan. This is
the way I'm as big of a nerd as he gets, Dude.
(01:51:28):
So I'm I'm I'm a massive Star Wars guy. I'm
a massive Marvel guy. And I grew up a huge
and still am a wrestling fan. So Troy, I'm like, dude,
let's let's bond right now.
Speaker 10 (01:51:40):
Eddie, did you see his I read your bracelet on
your right hand? Does it say sith Lord?
Speaker 6 (01:51:45):
Yeah, somebody gave me this last night.
Speaker 15 (01:51:49):
Someone gave me this, this, this other bracelet that has
like a quote from Moonnight that says, first like people
hand me that.
Speaker 6 (01:51:56):
I'm like, oh, that's really nice.
Speaker 15 (01:51:57):
And I'm like, why can I get a quote that
says like, I'm I have to get like there's chaos
and there's a character that reminds me of you.
Speaker 6 (01:52:04):
The schizophrenic dude kills people.
Speaker 1 (01:52:07):
Sometimes I feel that feels great. Appreciate that.
Speaker 6 (01:52:10):
Those are the three things I grew up on, Star Wars, Marvel,
comic books.
Speaker 15 (01:52:14):
Yeah, wrestling. My dad was a When I was a kid,
my dad was a DJ. He was an amateur pro
wrestler going to karate school. Uh and and he loved
comic books, so he made no money and and I
they gave me the autism test there.
Speaker 6 (01:52:29):
They were like, maybe you grow in this year. My
principal was RFK.
Speaker 1 (01:52:34):
Too much.
Speaker 6 (01:52:34):
Thailand was me and so like I just I comedy
to me.
Speaker 15 (01:52:41):
When I was a kid, my dad, because he was
a DJ, he never listened to music in the car.
He always listened to talk radio. So like I would
be going to school, like repeating back talk radio points
about like.
Speaker 5 (01:52:51):
The Iraq Wars, like seven years old.
Speaker 1 (01:52:55):
They kept that in comic school.
Speaker 15 (01:52:57):
And but like I also memorize this is like back
when people would listen to full comedy albums, like at
the height of like comedy special student, like you'd have
HBO Special everyone, like there's a special coming out every day,
Like when people would have an album and then they
would listen to it over and over. Yeah, my dad
would listen to Bill Cosby and Richard Pryor and George
Carlin and Jerry Seinfeld and La Ball, and I'd like
(01:53:20):
be four or five years old understanding that they were great.
But also the big thing that I learned was like
how to make what was going on in my head
and now against everyone else that was through comedy. Like
the nerd stuff. Now maybe I don't know if you
feel this way. I feel this way now. Now the
nerd stuff is like in the zeitgeist, you can just
drop like Thanos and everyone.
Speaker 2 (01:53:39):
Knows knows what that is.
Speaker 1 (01:53:40):
Yeah, I mean I tell these guys all the time.
It's weird, the shift of like I kind of hid
this stuff when I was growing up. You know, I
was embarrassed, But dude, I played D and.
Speaker 6 (01:53:50):
D growing up.
Speaker 2 (01:53:51):
I mean I was that kind of getting.
Speaker 1 (01:53:52):
But then I lived the double double life, you know,
where I still played sports and things like that. So
those friends had no idea that I read comic books
every day. But now it's like the cool thing, and
I'm like, what happened? Yeah, Like I have no shame. Man,
I'm wearing a canteena band.
Speaker 6 (01:54:06):
One of my wonder woman under right.
Speaker 16 (01:54:08):
Now.
Speaker 6 (01:54:10):
Yeah, I'm the first male to male transition.
Speaker 1 (01:54:16):
I like it.
Speaker 3 (01:54:17):
I like it.
Speaker 15 (01:54:17):
I don't know, I feel like because I'm a huge
I'm a huge Michael Jackson fan tune with the movie
and everything.
Speaker 6 (01:54:24):
Now now there's been like a.
Speaker 15 (01:54:25):
Lot of kids and just a lot of people who
like who are getting into the things that like I've
always loved right.
Speaker 6 (01:54:31):
I just feel like I was like sort of the first.
Speaker 1 (01:54:33):
World to show up to something. Yeah, like do I
want them to listen?
Speaker 6 (01:54:37):
Yeah? Watching that like I have the balls.
Speaker 15 (01:54:39):
To be like, who is who's going around listening to
to this unknown indie artist Michael Jackson. I was keeping
all these years, Like even I went to go see
the new Star Wars movie last week.
Speaker 6 (01:54:50):
And I was in.
Speaker 15 (01:54:51):
I was in theaters. In the first like ten minutes.
I was like, I was with somebody and I kept
groaning and they were like stop and I was like
what and They're like, you keep every like three minutes.
I'm like, oh, I didn't realize I was doing it
because I'm like, I'm thirty now, I've been what The
first movie I ever saw in theaters was Phantom menad
Crazy three.
Speaker 12 (01:55:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 15 (01:55:07):
I didn't know anything about trade negotiations or racist stereotypes.
Speaker 6 (01:55:11):
And the Star Wars yes, but it works.
Speaker 15 (01:55:13):
I kept watching and after after my friend was like,
you keep growing it, I was like, all right, let
me just me enjoy this for what it is. And
I saw sigurdy weaver and an swing yeah, and then uh,
I just I want to put grogu in a blender.
Speaker 1 (01:55:24):
Oh wait, why I just hate him? Why I never
heard anybody say that.
Speaker 6 (01:55:29):
I think cute, break, I think he's very cute. You
know what the series, I would turn him into a
cereal Oh.
Speaker 1 (01:55:36):
God, what happened?
Speaker 15 (01:55:37):
If that little thing was coming at me at three
o'clock in the morning, I'd put two between.
Speaker 1 (01:55:40):
The no long on a second try. So I'm way
older than you. Okay, So I grew up in you know,
with the original movies, and so those are my loves.
I have some strong feelings about the prequels. Okay, now
you grew up probably with the prequels first. So I
have seen this kind of generation that loves the prequels
(01:56:02):
and they kind of like, are weird about everything else?
Speaker 2 (01:56:05):
So where do you sit in this?
Speaker 15 (01:56:07):
So I Star Wars to me is like, uh, trying
to find the right way to say this on the radio.
Like a hook up, a hook up for pizza at
the end of the day, pizza you got to hook
up with.
Speaker 6 (01:56:18):
You love it, You love it no matter what, even
the bad one is still like unless I was.
Speaker 5 (01:56:23):
Skywalker always, Eddie likes everything and everybody hates he liked
the more pious.
Speaker 1 (01:56:32):
Movie it.
Speaker 6 (01:56:36):
Understanding about. I mean, somehow Palpatine returned.
Speaker 1 (01:56:43):
Breaking and it was weird.
Speaker 6 (01:56:45):
I'm not gonna lie, it's the feeling.
Speaker 15 (01:56:48):
I saw The Force Awakens in theaters probably like ten times,
so excited.
Speaker 2 (01:56:52):
That I literally cried cry went so died by.
Speaker 15 (01:56:58):
I expected him to die because I was like, there's
no way Harrison Ford's gonna walk on there.
Speaker 1 (01:57:01):
What's this movie called?
Speaker 12 (01:57:02):
Kid?
Speaker 1 (01:57:03):
Three more of these?
Speaker 6 (01:57:04):
I gotta be with Harry show me off this way? Looking?
Speaker 13 (01:57:09):
Kid?
Speaker 6 (01:57:09):
Why is he? Why is this lightsaber? Looked at plane?
And so I saw it. I loved it. I was like,
this is really cool. I'm really and I was even
okay with like it being a copy of a New Hope.
Speaker 2 (01:57:20):
It was like what happened?
Speaker 6 (01:57:23):
Then Rogue One.
Speaker 15 (01:57:23):
Comes out and I'm like, oh, they just keep one
of my incredible And then Last Jedi came out and
that was the first movie in my adult life. I
walked out of theaters and I thought that, like everyone
was gonna follow me, like right when she threw when
Luke threw his lightsaber away, I was like, all right.
Speaker 6 (01:57:39):
Gang, come on. Marched up right at the top, right
at the beginning.
Speaker 15 (01:57:44):
Because the first ten minutes was like all joking, and
I was like, I don't know where this is going.
This is rough, and then when he threw the lightsaber,
I was hurt. I walked out of the theater, and
then I went to go see it the next day
and and ended up that that was my favorite out
of the out of the sequels.
Speaker 1 (01:57:58):
Is the last Jedi, the last Jedi.
Speaker 15 (01:58:00):
Okay, it awakens went nowhere, Okay, the last Jedi.
Speaker 6 (01:58:08):
The Yota scene alone makes it worth it for me.
Speaker 1 (01:58:10):
I did enjoy that.
Speaker 15 (01:58:11):
So Rise of Skywalker was the only Star Wars movie
I saw in theater once. And then my brother tried
to kill himself a couple of days later.
Speaker 6 (01:58:16):
I don't think, Okay, that's fair.
Speaker 15 (01:58:21):
I'm going to blame it on that, not him getting
caught cheating on his girlfriend Skywalker.
Speaker 1 (01:58:26):
That's fair, because.
Speaker 6 (01:58:29):
That's what you know.
Speaker 1 (01:58:31):
What's crazy is that when the prequels came out again,
I'm I'm, you know, now an adult at this point
in the nineties, and I was so excited that even
any Star Wars was going to be made.
Speaker 2 (01:58:40):
So I went there.
Speaker 1 (01:58:41):
I took the day off work because I was like,
I gotta go see this right away, and I it
didn't that's how we do it, and it didn't.
Speaker 2 (01:58:47):
We save I walked out and I went is this me?
Speaker 12 (01:58:50):
Like?
Speaker 2 (01:58:50):
Do I not love this anymore? It felt weird.
Speaker 6 (01:58:53):
That's how I felt. When I watched the Last Jedi.
Speaker 15 (01:58:55):
I was like, oh, it was like that episode of
South Park where where like Kyle realized he was getting
older and everything just sounded and changed.
Speaker 5 (01:59:01):
What happened to me? And I got called my dad
and I was like, Dad, don't go see this movie.
Speaker 1 (01:59:05):
It's terrible.
Speaker 6 (01:59:05):
And he was like, you're twenty six now, and I
was like, no, but you're grown up. People use these movies.
Is life is very hard.
Speaker 15 (01:59:16):
It's very difficult for people just to get any it was.
It was hard for all of us just to get
up and put socks and shoes on this morning. Yeah,
to get here. It wasn't for me because I'm on
New York Times. It's nine o'clock in my brain wake
it was up at six like Bevis, like yeah, radio,
but like whenever when I went to go see the
Mandalarining Grogan movies, like at the end of the day,
(01:59:38):
I'm putting my socks and shoes on, I'm getting to
go see a Star Wars movie, and then I was
gonna buy a popcorn bucket and they were like sixty dollars.
Speaker 6 (01:59:43):
I was like, I'll come back to this movie win
a gun.
Speaker 2 (01:59:47):
That's I didn't do that.
Speaker 15 (01:59:50):
No, I would to spend it on the dune bucket.
That's a multi purpose bucket.
Speaker 6 (01:59:55):
Everyone else like sure, I don't want just like what
am I going to do with a Yeah? I kind
of shoot it.
Speaker 1 (02:00:00):
Yeah, you come on Toy Bond playing the American Comedy
Company this weekend.
Speaker 2 (02:00:06):
Gotta go see him. He's fantastic.
Speaker 1 (02:00:08):
Now, got to get into some wrestling talk here, because
because I had no idea that your dad wrestled and
all this stuff, so you grew up kind of in
that era where you.
Speaker 6 (02:00:18):
Yeah, right, steroids and cocaine, nothing.
Speaker 5 (02:00:21):
Better, that's all that.
Speaker 1 (02:00:25):
The Golden Air time it was I I was going to.
Speaker 15 (02:00:29):
Those I didn't realize like how unconventional my dad was.
Like because I told you, like even I got reaction
for you. I was like, he was a DJ, he
was karate school and he was wrestling. I heard the
d c F like, oh wait, and then like like
when he wasn't karate and wrestling was like it was
almost like the same, but like wrestling was a little
bit more theatrical.
Speaker 1 (02:00:49):
Sure, so like we would I remember outfits.
Speaker 15 (02:00:51):
Yeah, Like my dad's outfit for wrestling was like just
his karate pants and then baby oil.
Speaker 6 (02:00:56):
Oh wow, remember one.
Speaker 15 (02:01:00):
Like my one of my earliest memories was he was
like doing his wrestling name was the Black Dragon Troy Bond,
and uh he was like shooting some promos and one
of the promos is like he was going to shoot
a fireball out of his good okay because he was
the Dragon, Like yeah yeah, and he's like, oh, here
we go. And the karate mats were like those rubber
(02:01:21):
like that. We were in the studio and like he
like had like taken just a big shot of vodka
and then spit it out while somebody like had a
Zippo lighter just went everywhere.
Speaker 6 (02:01:30):
He didn't tell me to get out of the way.
I'm like next to my dad, like croker. I'm like
he did a kick and then like my leg was
just on fire and then he like just picks me
up by he was like, don't tell your mother about this,
and he dunks one leg of mine in the toilet.
Speaker 15 (02:01:46):
In the toilet and like half of my leg is
still burnt up. My pant leg was burnt up. It
just singed right through the pants. And then they just
like my tell your mother moments, like it's going to
be really hard to explain this. One time, some he
like broke a crutch over his back and I just
saw it flying at me and I was like, this
is really cool. And then it hit me right square
(02:02:06):
in the head and I just had this giant egg
on my head. He was like, tell your mother, you
fell down the steps. I'm like, that's the fourth.
Speaker 6 (02:02:12):
Time this month. He's gonna put me in a class.
Speaker 1 (02:02:16):
You guys want responsibility for this.
Speaker 6 (02:02:20):
Joker. Like we have the same last name too, and
we have the same last name.
Speaker 1 (02:02:27):
Yeah, yeah, the whole name.
Speaker 6 (02:02:28):
I got the whole name. And we didn't talk for
like he.
Speaker 15 (02:02:32):
Kicked me out of the house when I was seventeen
because I started doing comedy and he didn't. He still
he wanted to do comedy too when he was but
he didn't pull out. And then he had me okay,
and he was just.
Speaker 6 (02:02:43):
Like, I don't want you going down this. It was
like the day up a cave. He was like, I
don't want you to be what I am and then.
Speaker 1 (02:02:48):
I exactly, I know it was.
Speaker 6 (02:02:51):
Exactly stretch back and he didn't. He like had me
up against the all.
Speaker 15 (02:03:00):
He was like, if you audition for America's Got Talent,
you're never coming back to this house. And I was like,
all right, I guess I'm coming back to this house.
Serious speak for five years, still doing the Stacker twos
your blood. It was a real Chris full heel on you.
(02:03:21):
And I was going to the karate school classes too,
Like so I knew karate, he just knew more. But
so we didn't speak for for many years. One day
I came home and he like handed me. Uh like
when when dads discover weed, they think that they're the
first person on the planet.
Speaker 6 (02:03:38):
You gotta try this. It's going to change everything for you.
Speaker 15 (02:03:40):
I'm like, you remember you kicked me out of the
house once when I was fourteen, And then like we
were it was like the Native American peace pipe. We
were just passing it back and forth. And then he
left the house and I was sure he hit me,
and I was like in a coma. And then he
called me later that night and he was like, hey,
I might I might need your social scared number to
keep the lights on the karate school.
Speaker 6 (02:04:00):
What it was is this when we're friends. Now, this
is wild man. Yeah, so that's that's my dad. Okay,
happy Father's Day something. Yeah, good man, I am working
on one.
Speaker 15 (02:04:14):
Yeah, that's fantastic because you're like, you'll tell these stories
and then get me out a party and then like
people start crying.
Speaker 6 (02:04:19):
I guess it's called trauma dumping. But I just thought
like it was a cool story.
Speaker 2 (02:04:23):
This is my life. Yeah, that's just the.
Speaker 6 (02:04:24):
Way I grew.
Speaker 15 (02:04:25):
When I saw the Trotters when I was ten, I
didn't know I was right there. I was just like, oh,
this is McDonald.
Speaker 2 (02:04:31):
The hell I don't know. Listen, this is this is what.
Speaker 1 (02:04:35):
You're gonna see. If you gotta go take out Troy
American Comedy Company. A couple of shows today, a couple
of shows tomorrow night. It's gonna be great. You'll go
hang out with Door two. I guess he's gonna be
hanging out. Yeah, hey, Troy Pleasure. And finally, any time
you're town man, you gotta come in, dude. I'll chop
it up man, good stuff, dude, I'll bring you go
to Smoothie with due. Listen apparently hate Grogu So I
don't even know. I'm going to Burger King after this,
(02:04:56):
and I'm gonna get the milkshack it's made of him.
That's terrible.
Speaker 4 (02:05:04):
I'm taking it.
Speaker 6 (02:05:04):
Back to the old school. I'm taking it back to.
Speaker 9 (02:05:07):
The old school.
Speaker 10 (02:05:10):
Now put your mind into wind.
Speaker 6 (02:05:13):
Let's go that.
Speaker 10 (02:05:14):
Eighties, nineties, two thousands.
Speaker 11 (02:05:17):
Now you know.
Speaker 6 (02:05:26):
Their name is? The game is?
Speaker 5 (02:05:30):
It's time to play throwback trivia?
Speaker 2 (02:05:34):
All right?
Speaker 1 (02:05:34):
A little TVT hello't throwback trivia trivia questions from the eighties, nineties,
two thousands and the twenty tenies.
Speaker 6 (02:05:43):
Yes, it is a.
Speaker 1 (02:05:43):
Random draw between the four of you who play every week.
So let's pick some players here, all right? Playing this week?
Is you Sky? You're backing again coming off a big win?
Speaker 2 (02:05:55):
I know, coming off a big win.
Speaker 4 (02:05:56):
Please let me play again Street.
Speaker 1 (02:05:58):
Actually, what is that supposed to mean?
Speaker 4 (02:06:01):
Well, I mean, Jamie's like five years old, so the
chance of him knowing throwback knowledge.
Speaker 1 (02:06:07):
He's one game game has one.
Speaker 4 (02:06:10):
But I feel this game is harder on him than
anyone else, just because he's the youngest of the crew.
So that's why I always hope to play Jamie.
Speaker 2 (02:06:19):
Your opponent will be not Jamie.
Speaker 1 (02:06:22):
Emily. Oh okay, Emily.
Speaker 4 (02:06:27):
Immediately starts rubbing.
Speaker 10 (02:06:29):
It helps warm up my mind, My warm up my mind.
Speaker 1 (02:06:33):
Okay, this is weird. Let's begin, all right, all right, Sky,
you are up first. Your question is from the two thousands, Sky,
what is the name of the high school in Mean Girls,
Mean Girls? Damn? Is that in the rotation?
Speaker 2 (02:06:56):
I kind of felt like it was he's the mom
from me.
Speaker 10 (02:07:00):
I'm not I'm girls.
Speaker 4 (02:07:04):
No, I mean, I do enjoy it.
Speaker 7 (02:07:05):
I've only seen it a couple of times, but they.
Speaker 4 (02:07:07):
Named the high school. Yeah, like I could keep up
with a couple of references, but I'm not dropping the
references by any means.
Speaker 10 (02:07:15):
Yeah, Wednesdays we were pink, thank you oh so much?
Speaker 4 (02:07:19):
Show it off already.
Speaker 6 (02:07:25):
Don't know.
Speaker 4 (02:07:27):
I'm gonna say Riverdale.
Speaker 1 (02:07:30):
Good guy says Riverdale. That is incorrect. We were looking
for north Shore High Okay, I was.
Speaker 4 (02:07:40):
I wasn't close.
Speaker 1 (02:07:41):
Okay, not even all right, Emily, I don't know. I
what this should be in the in the rotation for Emily,
I don't know though. This is a very specific question though.
Your questions from the nineties, Emily, what is the name
of the black cat in Hocus Pocus.
Speaker 4 (02:08:03):
Oh, she loves hocus Pocus.
Speaker 2 (02:08:06):
She's standing up.
Speaker 1 (02:08:08):
I don't know if that's like she's trying to think
of what the name is celebrating, or if she knows it.
I don't know what's happening right now. She's freaking out.
Speaker 16 (02:08:15):
Throw up?
Speaker 10 (02:08:16):
Why because all I have in my head is Jinx.
But that's obviously the cat from Meet the Parents. Oh
my god, that's why it's in there. That's why I
keep saying Jinks because I think the cat's name is Binks.
Speaker 12 (02:08:27):
What is that?
Speaker 2 (02:08:29):
Your guess it is Binks?
Speaker 5 (02:08:33):
Jumped in the air on her bed foot?
Speaker 1 (02:08:36):
You doing?
Speaker 4 (02:08:38):
That's why the celebration.
Speaker 2 (02:08:39):
You haven't won the game yet, you, I know.
Speaker 10 (02:08:41):
But I really love that movie.
Speaker 2 (02:08:42):
The full name is Thackeray Binks, but they call it Binks.
Speaker 10 (02:08:46):
Actually, I do remember hearing that. I just love that movie.
And so if I didn't get that right, I was
gonna be really mad at myself.
Speaker 1 (02:08:51):
That game would have been over.
Speaker 4 (02:08:53):
She would have been mentally she gets I don't get mad.
Speaker 10 (02:08:57):
I don't like losing all of us so, and I
mean all three of us don't like it.
Speaker 4 (02:09:01):
Yeah, but you get really frustrated with your heart on
yourself in this.
Speaker 10 (02:09:04):
I am hard on my yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:09:06):
Yeah, it's almost creepy, very competitive. Okays, all right, Sky
over to you. Your question is from the eighties, one
of my favorite questions it's ever been asked. I'll be
honest with you, but I don't think it's going to
be in there.
Speaker 2 (02:09:19):
But you know, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (02:09:22):
Sky, Well, then tell me this, okay, from the eighties.
What is the subtitle of the Porky sequel? So I'll
give you this Porky's Too, yeah, and then the subtimes back.
Speaker 4 (02:09:37):
To be in perverts y Porkys.
Speaker 2 (02:09:41):
Didn't you say? You watch this movie?
Speaker 5 (02:09:42):
Yeah, my dad with your dad.
Speaker 10 (02:09:45):
I've never seen it, but I know of it.
Speaker 6 (02:09:47):
It's in that movie.
Speaker 2 (02:09:49):
Really in Porky's I don't know, it's in the sequels.
Speaker 5 (02:09:52):
Very like it's very seventies.
Speaker 1 (02:09:54):
That was in the eighties, right, yeah, it's eighties.
Speaker 6 (02:09:57):
All right.
Speaker 4 (02:09:58):
What's the Porky's two back to the locker Room?
Speaker 2 (02:10:05):
I don't know, no, this guy, that is incorrect. It's
Perky's two. The next day, the next day, that's.
Speaker 1 (02:10:13):
What it was called.
Speaker 4 (02:10:13):
Next day.
Speaker 1 (02:10:14):
I don't know that's what it's called. All right, there
you go, all right, Emily back over to you. Your
question is from the nineties and it's an audio clip.
This is a song from the nineties, so you gotta
get I mean, you.
Speaker 4 (02:10:28):
Love nineties of music.
Speaker 10 (02:10:29):
What do you I doing a very nervous.
Speaker 2 (02:10:31):
Give me the name of this nineties artist or song
title from the nineties.
Speaker 9 (02:10:40):
One you.
Speaker 5 (02:10:43):
Now your ring?
Speaker 9 (02:10:48):
I guess.
Speaker 1 (02:10:52):
That is every nineties song. Oh, that is every nineties song.
I don't know what that Okay, what do you think, Emily?
What nineties artist or song titled did that clip come from?
Speaker 12 (02:11:02):
Oh?
Speaker 10 (02:11:03):
And I said a lot about Breakfast at Tiffany's.
Speaker 11 (02:11:06):
It's Breakfast at Tiffany's. I don't know the artist, but
I think the song is Breakfast at Tiffany's.
Speaker 1 (02:11:09):
Ely says, breakfast at Tiffany's, and she is correct. That
is from Deep Blue something hit.
Speaker 10 (02:11:20):
I really like that song. That's what I loved.
Speaker 5 (02:11:22):
You love wow.
Speaker 12 (02:11:26):
Them.
Speaker 1 (02:11:28):
I don't know. I don't know, all right, her, I
have no idea, honestly, I have no idea. All right,
sky over to you. Your question is from the twenty tens,
and it is a movie description. I'm going to describe
a movie. You got to tell me what movie I've described?
From the twenty tens. Are you ready?
Speaker 12 (02:11:44):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (02:11:44):
All right?
Speaker 2 (02:11:45):
Sky?
Speaker 1 (02:11:45):
A us Marshall is sent to a menstal mental institution
on a remote island to investigate the disappearance of a
missing patient. He discovers a web of deception and starts
to question his own sanity. What twenty ten's movie did
I describe?
Speaker 10 (02:12:05):
Crap?
Speaker 4 (02:12:06):
This is one that I know what it is. This
is Leonardo DiCaprio, but I don't. I'm not one hundred percent.
I don't know the title. My brain is saying Shutter Island,
but I don't know if that's a thing. What is
the name? But I want to say like inception, but
that's something else. I see Leonardo DiCaprio in this movie.
(02:12:31):
I'm going to say Shutter Island.
Speaker 1 (02:12:33):
Sky says Shutter Island, and you are correct, Sky. Okay,
your brain says, my brain said it, but you trust
your brain.
Speaker 10 (02:12:45):
Your brain is wrong.
Speaker 4 (02:12:46):
Your brain is wrong.
Speaker 1 (02:12:47):
I don't understand, never seen.
Speaker 10 (02:12:50):
It, but I'm impressed.
Speaker 1 (02:12:52):
That is a good movie. It twist and turns. Okay, okay,
all right, over to you.
Speaker 2 (02:12:58):
Emily.
Speaker 1 (02:12:59):
Your question is also from the twenty tens. Emily, which
celebrity was not in the famous Ellen DeGeneres Oscar selfie.
Speaker 10 (02:13:11):
Wow, that was it?
Speaker 1 (02:13:13):
Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts or Kate Blanchette.
Whoa who was not in that selfie?
Speaker 10 (02:13:24):
Okay, I know that Bradley Cooper was, and I know
Jennifer Lawrence was. Can you read the name?
Speaker 1 (02:13:28):
It is just one more time, Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper,
Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Kate.
Speaker 11 (02:13:34):
Blanchette, between Pitt and Roberts. For me, I'm gonna say
Brad Pitt wasn't.
Speaker 1 (02:13:43):
Emily says Brad Pitt. That is in core Rex. Kate
Blanchette did make the selfie.
Speaker 10 (02:13:54):
I thought that was so random that that wouldn't. That's why,
That's why it was.
Speaker 1 (02:13:59):
All right over to you, Sky. We got a ballgame here,
here we go. This is an audio clip. Oh my,
this is a movie from the two thousands. Okay, you
gotta tell me what movie from the two thousands. This
clip is from Hi.
Speaker 5 (02:14:14):
Hi, my fingers are.
Speaker 1 (02:14:16):
Extra fishy today.
Speaker 6 (02:14:17):
If you care to take away.
Speaker 13 (02:14:21):
What was that?
Speaker 6 (02:14:22):
I was petting my wallce all morning and I was
thinking about you the whole time.
Speaker 5 (02:14:27):
Okay, Perft, I think that you should leave. I'm just
soving around because what we talked about yesterday, yesterday, I've
never even met you.
Speaker 1 (02:14:38):
All right, Sky, what two thousands movie was?
Speaker 4 (02:14:41):
That clip from one of my favorites, scenen about a
dozen times building the waffle house, and then you know
that she forgets so sad. Fifty first dates.
Speaker 1 (02:14:51):
Wow, Sky says, fifty first dates and then weirdly kisses.
That is correct. That was a gift for me.
Speaker 4 (02:14:57):
Chef's Kiss, Chef's Kiss. Okay, I love that movie.
Speaker 1 (02:15:01):
Wow with that that we've you've tied the game. You've
tied the game. Care we go, Emily, get in there.
Speaker 10 (02:15:07):
I am in there.
Speaker 2 (02:15:08):
Get in there.
Speaker 10 (02:15:08):
I'm the oldest one.
Speaker 6 (02:15:09):
Get in there.
Speaker 1 (02:15:11):
All right, Emily, here we go. Your questions from the nineties. Emily,
what was the name of the Golden Girls spin off
show where they ran a hotel?
Speaker 4 (02:15:22):
Oh?
Speaker 10 (02:15:22):
God, wow, damn it. What my sister listening will be upset,
my sister love.
Speaker 11 (02:15:28):
I never knew they had a spin off show, so
that's going to be a problem with me answering this question.
Speaker 1 (02:15:32):
Definitely definitely off show.
Speaker 10 (02:15:38):
Blanch's house.
Speaker 5 (02:15:41):
That's pretty solid house.
Speaker 2 (02:15:44):
That is incorrect.
Speaker 1 (02:15:46):
Think about it ran a hotel Golden Girls spin off
gold Golden Palace.
Speaker 11 (02:15:53):
Oh, even if I got there, what have said? Golden
Hotel Palace would never be in the damn it?
Speaker 1 (02:15:58):
Okay it didn't work out, all right, very good, sky
back over to you. Your question is from the nineties.
Sky which nineteen nineties one hit wonder song spent fourteen
consecutive weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot one hundred.
(02:16:19):
Was it Barbie Girl by aqua great song, tub Thumping
by Chumbawamba, Yam Macharina by Los del Rio, Stay by
Lisa loebe or Mambo Number five by lou Bega.
Speaker 6 (02:16:35):
Year.
Speaker 1 (02:16:36):
Well, it's not one year nineties, but one of them
was fourteen consecutive weeks on the number one Billboard chart.
Speaker 4 (02:16:43):
I mean they could all be a correct answer, so
I don't know, it would just be guessing. But before
you gave me the option the options, I immediately envisioned
Thor's dad doing the more Karina.
Speaker 5 (02:17:01):
Dance for any song, and you name me a song,
Name me a song somebody was with the mockerin Wait,
what really makes Nirvana rape me macarena?
Speaker 1 (02:17:12):
I mean that's I'm uncomfortable too, so.
Speaker 4 (02:17:16):
Since I honestly believe it could be any of them.
But that's what was again in my brain, and my
brain did well before. I'm gonna stick with my brain
and say, Cockerina.
Speaker 1 (02:17:28):
The Mokarna is correct. Wow, Wow, that's crazy.
Speaker 10 (02:17:34):
Bray, you're cheering your brain.
Speaker 1 (02:17:37):
Okay, we get it, we know the everybody knows that
you're not incredible.
Speaker 2 (02:17:42):
All right, it comes down to this, Emily.
Speaker 1 (02:17:44):
Now you got to get this question right to tie
the game, to send it into a type breaking question.
Speaker 5 (02:17:49):
She's got, she's pissed. I believe I appreciate that she's
cut off the deep end.
Speaker 1 (02:17:53):
What svery thing, Emily, Your questions comes from the two thousands. Emily,
what was Paully's nickname on the Sopranos?
Speaker 15 (02:18:06):
Oh?
Speaker 10 (02:18:08):
I didn't watch the sopres Have you ever heard?
Speaker 12 (02:18:12):
No?
Speaker 11 (02:18:13):
I was thinking that's James James Vanderbeek show, James Ganelfini,
But that's not I don't think his name was Polly.
Speaker 10 (02:18:23):
Buster. I don't know, obviously, so I'm just guessing.
Speaker 2 (02:18:28):
Polly Buster.
Speaker 1 (02:18:31):
If Emily is correct, if we're going to go Unfortunately, Emily,
that is incorrect. He was known as Polly walnuts, walnuts
soprano Tony Okay, no, Tony soprano walnuts. So that means
(02:18:52):
Sky back to back wins, which has not happened all year.
Maybe maybe ever, to be honest, maybe.
Speaker 4 (02:18:59):
Ever, Wowara, don't judge my dances over here.
Speaker 1 (02:19:03):
Emily's about the spiral.
Speaker 2 (02:19:06):
Sorry sucks, all right, you go.
Speaker 16 (02:19:11):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (02:19:12):
So you can see a lot of wild things go
down in our breakroom. It could normally be Sky or
even Emily. Mainly Sky, Yeah, mainly Sky. One avoid Sky
in the break heads up, but Emily will do some wacky.
Speaker 6 (02:19:27):
Things in there too, you know, don't know about that,
you will.
Speaker 2 (02:19:32):
And then Thor just won't talk to you. So these
are all the things that normally go down in the breakroom.
Speaker 5 (02:19:36):
Yeah, it depends on my mood.
Speaker 2 (02:19:38):
But like, how how often is your mood good?
Speaker 6 (02:19:42):
What's a blue moon? Like we just had a blue
moon yesterday. You don't know.
Speaker 5 (02:19:47):
I was just getting hot water in there, more than water,
and I was talking to myself. So you may have
seen that because the hot there's two creepy there's two
water filter machines. But I feel like the hot water
and water filter machines, it wasn't that hot so I
went to the coff pot hot water way.
Speaker 1 (02:20:01):
Hotter, and what do you sing to yourself?
Speaker 6 (02:20:03):
I was just like, why is that?
Speaker 5 (02:20:04):
I go to myself, I said, why is that not
as hot as this? That's really odd.
Speaker 10 (02:20:07):
I want to say that out loud.
Speaker 1 (02:20:10):
They so wild. Yeah, okay. And so when you work
in a building with I don't even know how many
people work here, would you say one hundred, one hundred,
one hundred.
Speaker 4 (02:20:21):
That's a good guess, Yeah, that's I guess.
Speaker 10 (02:20:24):
Okay, that sounds about oh, one hundred.
Speaker 1 (02:20:27):
All right, So there's a lot of people that work here,
and you know, we are usually here so early that
there's not a ton and then usually around nine o'clock
is when the rest of the building starts to fill up. Yeah, okay,
So I don't go into the breakroom really at all
until after the show. After the show, my routine is
(02:20:48):
I washed my coffee mug and coffee pot out every
single day, and so usually that's when I'll have the interaction.
From time to time, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:20:56):
I sit back in the office and Eddie goes and
watches this coffee pot, and that's normally when I'll get
a good story because Eddie'll come back. He'll be like,
you can't believe what so and so said, or you
can't believe what I just saw. So I wait for
those stories.
Speaker 2 (02:21:09):
Yeah, it'll happen.
Speaker 1 (02:21:10):
Yeah, you're just like, what is going on there?
Speaker 13 (02:21:12):
Man?
Speaker 1 (02:21:13):
Like somebody is warming a fish in there, some crazy stuff.
He was like, Oh, this is nuts. So eyewitnessed something
a little while ago with one particular coworker and I
was confused by it. He recognized it was odd, OK,
so he had to explain himself and I just thought, oh,
(02:21:33):
that's silly whatever. But then it got even worse. So
what I witnessed a while ago was him coming in
taking so in that break room, we have spoons, forks, knives, plates,
you know, and then like coffee cups and things like
that paper plastic prapery pup. Yeah, they're all disposable things.
(02:21:54):
So we have that kind of stuff in there, the
utensils and things like that, which is nice plastic, you know.
Speaker 2 (02:21:58):
Whatever.
Speaker 1 (02:21:59):
So he comes in with a plastic spoon that I
guess he had just used, and he starts washing it off,
and I'm looking at him, you know, as I'm drying
my coffee pot, and he goes, oh yeah, oh, weirdo
over here. I'm just washing my spoon and I go,
what are you doing?
Speaker 9 (02:22:16):
Like?
Speaker 2 (02:22:16):
What do you mean?
Speaker 1 (02:22:17):
And he goes, I use the same spoon all week.
He goes, why why get a new one every every day?
If I can just wash this off? All I'm using
it is for yogurt, And so I'm washing it off
and I'll use one all week long and then I'll
throw it away.
Speaker 2 (02:22:31):
And I go, I go, are you a big environmental guy?
Speaker 6 (02:22:34):
He does not really.
Speaker 4 (02:22:36):
Wait, well, I would say, so I go, okay.
Speaker 2 (02:22:39):
Well, then what's the point? He goes, I just did
you know?
Speaker 1 (02:22:41):
I don't see the point. I don't know, because I mean,
it's not like it's coming out of his pocket. No,
you know, I mean I think we could afford it
as a company. Yeah, but that's what he just said.
He goes, you know what, I just don't. I don't
see the point of getting a new one every day.
If I can just rinse this off and spoon, that's
the point. That's what we all think.
Speaker 10 (02:23:01):
Not this guy, real big company guy.
Speaker 2 (02:23:05):
Saving millions with this one spoon a week.
Speaker 7 (02:23:07):
iHeart wouldn't be here today if it.
Speaker 4 (02:23:10):
Wasn't for this guy.
Speaker 1 (02:23:11):
Manu so we We've joked about that over the time.
Speaker 2 (02:23:16):
I'm like, oh, washing your spoon, huh or something like that,
you know, you know, just over the time.
Speaker 1 (02:23:21):
Yeah, just because I think it's weird, and I think
he recognizes it's a little weird, but it is what
it is. So that happened. Well, he took it to
another level where now I'm like, dude, what's going on
with this dude? Like, I'm kind of scared at this point.
So I'm in there last week washing my thing again
when he comes strolling in, doesn't have a spoon, no spoon.
(02:23:45):
What he has is his coffee cup, which again is
kind of papery.
Speaker 2 (02:23:51):
You know, what is that cardboard is?
Speaker 4 (02:23:53):
It's like paper on the outside, but then the inside
has like of like I.
Speaker 11 (02:23:58):
Don't know what that is, like some plastic cody or
something so that it doesn't everybody's seen those things.
Speaker 1 (02:24:03):
It's like a Starbucks cup or any of those cups.
It's a coffee it's a it's to use for coffee.
Speaker 12 (02:24:09):
You know.
Speaker 1 (02:24:10):
He comes in and I witness him washing that out.
Oh what, and I go, I go, I go, are
you messing with me?
Speaker 4 (02:24:22):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (02:24:22):
I go, you're doing the spoon thing?
Speaker 3 (02:24:24):
You know.
Speaker 2 (02:24:24):
I go, and he goes, no, I'm going to reuse
this one too.
Speaker 10 (02:24:29):
For a full week.
Speaker 1 (02:24:30):
And I go, dude, a paper like this, nobody does that. No,
And so I'm like, do you have a cert? I think, like,
what's happening here?
Speaker 10 (02:24:42):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (02:24:42):
I go, I go, that doesn't make any sense, dude.
And so I'm kind of he seed like on my
face like I don't I'm concerned. Yeah, and he goes,
he goes, yeah, why would I throw this way?
Speaker 2 (02:24:52):
It's perfectly good. I just used it once for coffee,
and so I'm just gonna rinse it out and use
it again.
Speaker 1 (02:24:57):
Wow, I go, dude, I go, you don't.
Speaker 3 (02:24:59):
Have to do that.
Speaker 2 (02:25:00):
You don't really have to do that one right now.
When you're done with that, you're gonna.
Speaker 1 (02:25:04):
Rent it out.
Speaker 5 (02:25:05):
It's disgusting because it's like a plastic y. I don't
know it's any When it gets wet, it's weird. It's
just gross.
Speaker 4 (02:25:12):
Well and will he go. I'm trying to know if
he'll go multiple liquids, like will he do coffee in
the morning in that cup and then water in the
afternoon in that same cup?
Speaker 2 (02:25:21):
Because that I got away from him because I didn't
want to be a party.
Speaker 11 (02:25:25):
About that he did that that was unsafe for me
to be around him. Does and also where does he
keep these? Like does he have like a paper towel
or something where he like, you know, like stuff like
you put.
Speaker 4 (02:25:34):
There, because this guy probably if he's back where I
think he is, they have cubic coles.
Speaker 1 (02:25:43):
It's not like a big I think he got a
paper towel and.
Speaker 5 (02:25:50):
Crazy like I think that people probably have insane stories
around their office of things people do like Sky is
like the tip of the iceberg. Look at the other
freak show.
Speaker 1 (02:26:00):
Found this guy's more about her conversation than she has
about her behavior, which is worse to be.
Speaker 6 (02:26:07):
She will steal though from the company.
Speaker 4 (02:26:10):
I have her splash was it yours? Well no, but
it was, so she will steal.
Speaker 5 (02:26:17):
There's got to be a time of need. There's got
to be so many crazy stories of people that do
stuff like this.
Speaker 1 (02:26:22):
I just and he's it's a disposable cup. Do you
not know what the disposable part means?
Speaker 4 (02:26:29):
I want to see what this guy's kitchen cupboards look
like at his house, like just like plastic cups, like
Starbucks cups and like stuff.
Speaker 6 (02:26:36):
Like that Emily does.
Speaker 5 (02:26:39):
To me, Emily does something really weird. She washes zip
lock bags. That's weird. I find that weird. But she
doesn't think it's how.
Speaker 6 (02:26:47):
It does that happen.
Speaker 11 (02:26:49):
I mean my grandma, my grandma back parties, something that
I've always seen happening. I think it's weirder about the
cup than this than the spoon, because like the spoon,
I get it plastics.
Speaker 10 (02:27:07):
The cup is just something that I can't wrap my
head or.
Speaker 2 (02:27:10):
I couldn't either.
Speaker 10 (02:27:11):
Both really weird.
Speaker 1 (02:27:12):
Why not rinse off your stir stick? And where was
his end?
Speaker 4 (02:27:16):
He probably does? Seriously, it was crazy to me.
Speaker 10 (02:27:19):
He's got paper plates that are like kind of wet,
but he drives.
Speaker 2 (02:27:22):
Oh that's so gross.
Speaker 10 (02:27:26):
So we got to ask for questions.
Speaker 1 (02:27:27):
Yeah, I'm going to tell you guys in the break
who it is. I can't wait avoid him. Something going
on there?
Speaker 2 (02:27:37):
Yeah, not good
