Speaker 1 (00:00):
And now the show is happy to bring you.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
I'm pissing. I have some respectors midweek mid week.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
All right, line them up. What's going on? What has
you upset this week?
Speaker 2 (00:19):
Oh Eddie?
Speaker 3 (00:21):
It starts out with you.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
You can call you Edward.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
That is nice. What's up?
Speaker 2 (00:28):
You know it's something going on. Man, you have a son,
and you think things are going to be different, and
they are for the most part, but certain things I'm
starting to notice. So he's getting a little older, this guy. Yeah,
he's seven months old now, big boy. Big guys thirty
inches long and twenty three point six inches weight, which
(00:48):
is crazy.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
I don't remember that's big.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Somebody told me yesterday they're two year old is twenty
seven pounds. My seven month was twenty three points and
he's thirty inches, which is crazy. The doctor said he's
in the fifty percent for one year olds.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
Yeah, seven months.
Speaker 4 (01:03):
Yeah, I see you show us. You show us a
lot of pictures.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
Don't know where he gets it from.
Speaker 4 (01:07):
And I'll see.
Speaker 5 (01:08):
Pictures of other babies and I'll be like, were they premies?
Speaker 4 (01:11):
Like it throws off the.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Well and this is all I know, so like it's weird.
I also like we take him to like Lifetime to
the childcare, and like people will think he's older than
he is and he's not crawling or walking yet, so
that I'm like, I'm like, he's seven months. I'm like
self conscious that they flow. Yeah, yeah, he's gonna be okay,
he's gonna be okay. Yeah, he's driving us there. But
(01:39):
he's seven months old now, so he's little things are
starting to change, Like he's got a little stranger danger
going on, a little bit of that where he's at
the Lifetime and the childcare, he's crying and he wants,
you know, somebody coming me or my wife to come
and get him. I know a little bit, right.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
I mean, he has enough a little bit.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Helicoptered about seven years, all these seven months. So and
then my wife told me yesterday that he was in
his little jumpie and he has had the time in
his life. And then she left the room to go
to the bathroom for a second and he immediately started crying.
So but luckily little separation anxiety. This is this is
(02:22):
brand new because before he didn't even realize, Yeah, you
wouldn't notice. No, there's something going on recently, And it
took seven months. I feel like that's more than enough
time because I want to rant against my son.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
What are you talking about?
Speaker 2 (02:37):
I ranted. I ranted for things my wife has done.
I ranted for things you guys have done my parents.
But now it's time that my son feels the wath.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
What I mean this is because baby is he Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
And I think you ranted on him already.
Speaker 5 (02:56):
I really think you definitely drop there. Maybe not a
full ramp, a full walk, but comments.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
So this little this little guy starting to do something
a little crazy. I noticed that my wife gives him kisses,
a lot of kisses, forehead kiss these nose kisses. I
give him kisses to do the thing where I pretend
to bite his feet, and he loves it. He goes,
that's the funniest thing ever to this guy. Well, I
(03:27):
noticed when I go to pick him up, he turns
his head. He'll give me a hug every once a while,
but turn his head when my wife goes and picks
him up, smiles and then opens his mouth and puts
it on her cheek and gives him kisses. Oh I
don't get kisses. Oh there's no kisses it. And then
(03:48):
I'm starting to that's a little crazy. I also notice,
like when we're at Lifetime, when I go pick him up,
keeps crying. When my wife goes picks him up, stops crying.
So I'm starting to see these little things, and I'm
starting and then I start noticing, well, what's Haley doing?
And I feel like she's doing this on purpose, where
like like I'll give him his formula, I'll give him
(04:10):
his eight ounces to get his eight ounces, but like
she'll like smash up blueberries and avocado and make him eggs,
like baby him a little bit.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
Wait what she's feeding him nutrients?
Speaker 2 (04:24):
I'm feeding his eight ounces. She's babying him a little bit.
And I feel like she's gotten him to love her more.
He loves her more. And it's like really pissing me off.
It's like, does this kid know who keeps the lights
on in this house?
Speaker 1 (04:39):
Does he?
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Does he like the formula that he gets from Costco?
Speaker 4 (04:44):
Now I don't, I don't.
Speaker 5 (04:46):
I know you're tender about this right now, but but
you see there's a pattern here of you picking him
up and putting him by your face. Now, Eddie for
years has commented on your breast hold on.
Speaker 4 (05:04):
He says, he turns.
Speaker 5 (05:05):
His head when he goes for kisses, and he cries
when he brings. I don't think Edie has compared your
breath to something very unfortunate for many years. And I
don't know if this are we popping a mint before
we go.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
I don't think it's a breath issue. I use a
tongue scraper. Now, that's all that is, so no longer.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
That was what you said.
Speaker 4 (05:29):
I didn't want to say it.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
It doesn't smell. No, I don't think that's the issue.
The beard, oh, honestly, like he gives he gives her kisses.
It's crazy. And then she's always buying him new clothes.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
He's a fact because he grows out of it.
Speaker 6 (05:50):
Here's the thing.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
Does he as a as a dad? I gotta tell
you this does happen. It sucks.
Speaker 6 (05:56):
It's we we get the short end of the stick.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
It's because the mama's these these women, Yes, they're like
always there.
Speaker 3 (06:04):
Okay, you're the only ones that could get.
Speaker 6 (06:07):
Sorry, we got to work. Sorry where the men?
Speaker 2 (06:10):
Yeah? Does he like his clean clothes from his washer
and dryer?
Speaker 1 (06:14):
That?
Speaker 2 (06:14):
I got it?
Speaker 1 (06:14):
Who does that?
Speaker 2 (06:15):
My son? Does he does he like the fact that
you do that? I do that you do his laundry,
I dow, I fold his laundry.
Speaker 1 (06:21):
Wow?
Speaker 2 (06:22):
Does he does he like? Does he like taking a bath?
Could I do that?
Speaker 1 (06:25):
You know?
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Put him down every night? This really most I would
say five to six nights out of the week because
Haley cooks. So then I put him down and I put.
Speaker 5 (06:38):
I feel like I am, but you sing weird songs
and you read weird books.
Speaker 4 (06:42):
You can't pronounce dinosaur names.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
Likes doing bad job.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
He was doing a bad job.
Speaker 4 (06:50):
Anybody sings lullaby?
Speaker 7 (06:52):
Yeah, And we've heard he doesn't like like the baby stuff,
like the he doesn't want to watch, like he doesn't
want his kid to watch like I'm Disney Junior.
Speaker 1 (06:59):
On all that.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
It's like sports.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Babies watching babies watched the Yankee game last night.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
Babies, Babies respond.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
To hy my God, respond to that, that's a finger.
So I put him down at night with with eight ounces,
and we listened to a giants podcast together.
Speaker 4 (07:20):
A podcast dude.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
And then and then and then I rub his belly.
When I put him down, I give him those kisses
forehead kisses and then four kisses again and tell them
to have a good night.
Speaker 7 (07:33):
And then I leave the room, have a good night.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
When my wife does it, I just feel like he
likes it more. And this kid better change his ways
because I'll start taking things away. Maybe a little baby,
maybe a little less formula.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
Everyone.
Speaker 6 (07:53):
I mean, you're gonna starve your child.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
That seems he's still gonna eat.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
He's still gonna eat.
Speaker 6 (07:59):
I was with you first second.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
Now maybe maybe he doesn't need some new clothes. I'm
just saying it's gotten a little ridiculous and I don't
like it.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
You need to calm down.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
It's not fair. I do, I do, I do? We
split it fifty to fifty me and my wife. It does,
Yet I feel like he gets more love. How is
that fair?
Speaker 5 (08:17):
The kid always has a favorite. It doesn't matter how
much you're there. My husband is there more than I am,
and he's still not the favorite.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
But you drove the wedge between. Yes, you wanted to
be the favorite. You wanted to be the favorite.
Speaker 2 (08:31):
My wife's the same, Hayley's doing the same.
Speaker 6 (08:33):
Do you want that same?
Speaker 1 (08:35):
You don't want that next thing?
Speaker 2 (08:36):
You know it's gonna buyhim cigarettes and booze, like.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
I don't do that. I don't has Haley yet bought
a necklace with his name on it.
Speaker 4 (08:44):
Oh, Walker, that's coming, or with something with the W
on it.
Speaker 3 (08:48):
She doesn't have that yet.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
No that I.
Speaker 1 (08:53):
That happen. No, don't do that.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
She'll love it.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
Yeah, we will get the short end of the stick.
It does suck, but it is what it is. What
are you gonna do?
Speaker 2 (09:02):
He's you know?
Speaker 1 (09:03):
Wait, softs given?
Speaker 2 (09:08):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (09:09):
Again, every time I think I have your back that
I'm out.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
You're not making any sense.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
You're not making sense.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
Okay, good, good luck. So me and my wife are
usually pretty good about beyond the same page of what's
going on with our kids, always have been, which is
that that's a big help. Honestly, when you can agree
on how you're gonna raise them, what you're gonna do,
certain things we believe in, it's a big help. And
so we are usually on the same page when it
(09:34):
comes to a lot of stuff. I mean, there will
be small disagreements that obviously happen, but for the most part,
we agree on how we want to raise our kids.
Speaker 6 (09:41):
So it's been good.
Speaker 1 (09:44):
Uh, Well, there has been something that's popped up kind
of recently that is different for us. We're on two
completely different pages when it comes to something that has
to do with my son and letting him do something,
where I think it's kind of si and it's like whatever,
what's the big deal, and my wife is adamant about
(10:05):
not letting him do something. So my wife is a
goodie two shoes. You think I'm a rule follower, you
have no idea. She grew up, always has been born,
raised the goody two shoes, always the teacher's pet, you know,
the first person showing up for things. You know, She's
like very big time goodie two shoes and we're you know,
(10:28):
I'm I'm a pretty big rule follower, but you know,
I'll get in there from time to time, like, you
know whatever. But she she for the most part, she's
straight and narrow, you know whatever. And so you know,
we've raised our kids to you know, have really good
morals and things like that, and you know, try to
do the right thing. Well. The way my wife grew
(10:49):
up is that she was not ever allowed to see
an R rated movie until she was what's the age,
seventeen eighteen, So she never saw like there's so many
movies that you know, in the eighties and nineties that
I'll say, hey, you see blah blah blah. She's like, no,
it was radedar wow. I know, but I mean everybody
(11:12):
saw Jaws or whatever. I don't remember what's r you know,
but I mean like all those scary movies growing up.
Never saw any of those are all rated ar. Yeah,
like like Nightmare on Elm Street, those kind of things.
Speaker 5 (11:22):
Yeah, those were the ones that me and my girlfriends
would see. And I remember we started seeing them, I
don't know about fourteen fifteen, and.
Speaker 4 (11:28):
We you know, we thought we were so cool.
Speaker 5 (11:30):
I mean, now one of the parents would have to
buy the tickets so we could get in, but they
they would because they're like, yeah, these are this is
a goofy slasher for even renting movies.
Speaker 6 (11:40):
Yeah, she wouldn't see our rady movies.
Speaker 1 (11:42):
Oh that's why.
Speaker 3 (11:42):
Check. I don't remember what happens if you were like
going to you're like.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
You know point yeah, like die Hard, Yeah, like r
raty movie. I never saw it.
Speaker 7 (11:52):
And like, was there ever those movies sitting around the
house too at her house?
Speaker 1 (11:56):
I don't know she could pop one in. Well, no,
I don't think your parents would let it. And yes,
and she was such a good she wouldn't do it
behind the back.
Speaker 5 (12:04):
Yeah, because I think if a movie has the effort
in it, it automatically gets an R rating, Like there
are certain words and certain body parts that will automatically
trigger the R rating. So it's crazy to think that
she went that long without seeing an R rating movie.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
But that was the rule, so she wouldn't do it.
So it was kind of crazy to me. You know,
when I bring up a certain movie and say, hey,
do you ever see it? No? I never saw it
because it was our I really like, but at some point,
don't you just kind of do it? Really?
Speaker 6 (12:35):
But okay whatever. That's how she grew up.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
And so this has never really come up before because
my daughter Taylor, who's older, she's sixteen, now never really
requested to go see an R rated movie or watch
an R rated movie. It's severally popped up, but my
son has. So have you guys seen the you know,
(12:59):
trailer or seen this movie back Rooms?
Speaker 2 (13:03):
These horror flicks are making a comeback, so horror movies.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
This one is.
Speaker 4 (13:07):
Pretty specific, but I haven't seen the trailer or anything.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
Yeah, this movie back Rooms, which I think last weekend
was like the number one movie or whatever.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
They like walk through walls.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
Yes, So it was basically what this is this started
as like a YouTube thing and like like there was
a YouTube short or whatever about this movie, and uh,
you know, it became the sensation on YouTube and all
these people. Well the person that made him decided or
(13:40):
you know, to make it into a feature film. And
he's like a young guy. He's like twenty something, you know,
super young guy. And you know that's why it's like
a big deal or whatever. This YouTube movie became like
this feature film and it's a huge hit, oh totally.
And it's a it's a it's a horror movie, but
it's like a more psychological Rillard type of the thing.
(14:01):
So basically the premise of the movie is this guy
works at a store. He goes into like one of
these rooms, but it leads him into like another almost
dimension and it makes him spiral into insanity and it's
like really creepy and crazy and the things he sees
and like all this stuff.
Speaker 6 (14:21):
It's a trip.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
Yeah, you know it sounds and so of course my son,
who is in the YouTube generation, wants to go see
this movie, you know, and was all hyped. He actually
wanted to go see it on opening weekend.
Speaker 4 (14:34):
Oh wow.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
And I didn't know anything about it. I was like,
what the hell is this? Back rooms? And what is it?
I didn't know anything about it, And so come to
find out it's red dar. And it wasn't even a
question in my wife's mind. Well it's red dar. He
can't go see it. He's fourteen, just had his birthday
in high school, he's gonna be a freshman in high school.
(14:56):
Can't see it.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
That's wild.
Speaker 6 (14:58):
And I go, well, wait a minute, I go, let
me at least look into this.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
I don't know anything about it.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
Is it the cursing?
Speaker 1 (15:04):
So I didn't know. I didn't know anything about it. Yeah,
because I looked into it.
Speaker 4 (15:07):
Yeah, why why are we rated art?
Speaker 1 (15:09):
There's no blood and guts, there's no nudity. It's just
because of the concept. Basically, it's you know, psychological and creeping, scary,
and there's maybe a little bit of gore and cursing.
That's it.
Speaker 6 (15:23):
Okay, Yeah, that's it.
Speaker 2 (15:24):
I can't understand if she was like, no nudity, yeah,
I mean it's porkis no?
Speaker 6 (15:29):
I mean, I.
Speaker 2 (15:30):
Mean I was fourteen. I went to the theaters with
some buddies. We saw America Pie two. Oh great, one
of my favorite movies ever seen in my life.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
Strong sexual content in that thane and the language.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
What was crazy about it? I don't think this is
that no at all. There's no like lesbian scene with
Stiffler a gym.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
Which is a bummer.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
I mean, I'll tell you what he's missing out. Yeah,
he needs to see that.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
Okay, but I'm going to show a walker that.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
Movie beg Pie two. Uh, definitely not tell my wife
next year. Yeah, yeah, we have to watch the first
one first. He's so lost.
Speaker 1 (16:10):
Dad, who's Shannon Elizabeth? Yeah, and so I looked into it. Yeah,
I see that it's a little creepy. Yeah, but I'm
also like, I sat him down. I said, you know
what this is about? Oh yeah, he broke it down
for you. Watched the YouTube thing, and so he knows
what it's about. Him and all of his group of
(16:31):
friends are hype to see this movie. And so I'm like, huh,
all right, well I don't really see that big of
a harm in this. I go, you know, do you
you do understand? You know that this is kind of
creepy and psychological, and you know you may get it
like nightmares or something by this. Are you you understand that?
Oh yeah, I'll be fine, dad, And no, it's not
that big of a deal whatever. All right, let me
(16:54):
let me talk to your mom about it.
Speaker 3 (16:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
So I go bring it up to Deborah and she's like,
it's rated R. And I go, yeah, I get, I
understand that, I understand the concept or whatever.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
Like she's looking at you like you're insane.
Speaker 1 (17:07):
Like this isn't even a question, like like, we're not
buying him a gun, I mean, might as well we're
gonna lean down to a path, you know, like criminal behavior.
Speaker 2 (17:18):
Because of buying booze for the movie.
Speaker 6 (17:21):
Yeah, pretty much. Yeah, I don't understand.
Speaker 1 (17:24):
Uh, so I go listen, I watched the trailer. Yeah,
I understand, you know that it's rated R. But I
really don't see the harm in letting him see this movie.
If there was a bunch of stuff in there that
it was like not good for him, Yeah, okay, I
get it, But I don't think it's that bad.
Speaker 6 (17:41):
Anythink was that bad?
Speaker 2 (17:42):
He's watching Euphoria right.
Speaker 1 (17:46):
Again? You know, Yeah maybe in a couple of years, Yeah,
for sure, I definitely will.
Speaker 6 (17:54):
But yeah I didn't. But she was she's ten toes down, she's.
Speaker 3 (17:58):
Not budgeting, she will not you can't.
Speaker 1 (18:01):
I mean, I'm trying to convince her to let him
go see it, but she's pretty staunch and like they're
they're not seeing RATEDAR movies.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
That sticks because then all of his buddies see it
and he's not gonna see it. And then and then
you know, then the joking.
Speaker 3 (18:15):
Starts, probably makes something up.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
You gotta tell you gotta get in there, and you
gotta tell devor listen.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
Yeah, he's not gonna now. And what I try to
tell her, and this kind of backfired is, you know,
Emily took read to go see Jackass in the drive.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
In that like three years ago, and when we was
when we was Jack Sage.
Speaker 3 (18:48):
Yeah, yeah, he was jack stage when I took to.
Speaker 6 (18:50):
See that, and that was fine.
Speaker 7 (18:54):
So that's a little bit that's a little extreme, and
I don't in hindsight, that probably wasn't the right decision because.
Speaker 3 (19:02):
Godzilla, there's you know, it's it's private part.
Speaker 7 (19:05):
Penis and there's an explosion of fluid over the city.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
Yeah, that's how they kick it off.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
Yes, that I said, though I feel like we all
like we all watched jackass right now, Jackson, we did.
We saw it in the theater.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
We did well. I was grown, I me and Emily
I saw.
Speaker 2 (19:23):
I was like thirteen when that was out, twelve thirteen, fourteen.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
Yeah, I don't know. You think that was a good idea?
Speaker 2 (19:29):
Yeah, it's jack gas, you know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (19:33):
And it was read fine after that. I don't know.
Speaker 7 (19:36):
I mean, I think he's always been a goofy kid
that makes some racy jokes.
Speaker 6 (19:39):
But was he, you know, driving his bike into a
brick wall or he wasn't.
Speaker 3 (19:44):
Wasn't he made it through? He didn't. He didn't try
to mimic all of those scenes, thank god.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
Well, I think he already did half of them.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
Yeah, probably probably what is what is Deborah's going to
happen if he sees it.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
That's what she's worried, that the psychological thing's gonna like scar.
Speaker 3 (19:59):
Yeah young mess him up.
Speaker 5 (20:01):
Yeah, But is he a kid because I've never heard
you talk about like him having nightmares or being too
scared to do this or too scared to do that.
Because if he was one of those kids, I could
tell see what Deborah was saying.
Speaker 4 (20:17):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 5 (20:18):
But if it's just because it has that letter next
to it.
Speaker 4 (20:22):
And that's the only scary.
Speaker 6 (20:23):
It's scary.
Speaker 4 (20:24):
Yeah, I get that it's scary.
Speaker 1 (20:26):
And see you are no because you know no.
Speaker 5 (20:30):
I well, I'd let her go see an R rated movie,
but not this one because she is. I love her
to death, but she is a scaredy cat kid.
Speaker 4 (20:37):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 6 (20:38):
Oh my girl, what's the line for you?
Speaker 1 (20:41):
Like? What is it?
Speaker 6 (20:42):
Nudity?
Speaker 1 (20:42):
Is it? Gore? Is it?
Speaker 5 (20:44):
Nudity is not a problem? Sex is not a problem. Yeah,
I mean she's she's sixteen years old.
Speaker 1 (20:55):
What does that mean?
Speaker 5 (20:56):
I like, she, well, she knows people who've had sex,
you know what I mean, like who had sex?
Speaker 4 (21:04):
That is true, but I mean she knows people her
own age you.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
Have had whoa?
Speaker 4 (21:09):
So it's like that's that's real life, you know.
Speaker 5 (21:12):
And you know me in my house, it's like, you know,
we shouldn't be ashamed of our bodies, blah blah blah
all that stuff. But I know her and her being sensitive,
I know she will have nightmares if she saw something
like this. She could potentially worry about people dying and
you know, getting upset about things like that. And I'm like,
I don't yeah, yeah, I don't know what's going on
(21:34):
in those dimensions.
Speaker 4 (21:35):
So so for her a horror.
Speaker 5 (21:37):
Movie, no, but like comedy, brom com dirty comedy, I'd
be okay, Yeah if she wanted to.
Speaker 4 (21:47):
I don't know if that's her type of humor. I
don't think. I don't think she'd enjoy it. But yeah,
so that's that's for me.
Speaker 5 (21:56):
It's like if she if Dever's just saying no because
it's our and the rule is you're too.
Speaker 6 (22:02):
Young, then nobody allowed under eighteen.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
Oh yeah, ever, that's what it says.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
He's seventeen, you can't go see a lady movies.
Speaker 6 (22:10):
What it says, that's wild.
Speaker 4 (22:11):
So discussion is still.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
On go trying trying to stay in there to get uh.
And so you watched like Major League when you were
like five, Yeah, so you watched R rated movies.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
I never even think about the rating rating really, I
never even crosses my mind. Yeah, I for some reason
I thought that, like especially in this day and age
with streaming, when movies come out, I don't even like
on your stream, on your stream. Yeah, I didn't even
know that.
Speaker 7 (22:42):
But I've never really looked at that either, Like when
it's like no, but I'll like know what the thing's about,
Like I don't know the rating, and I'll like let
read watch.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
No, I'm sure like Haley's my wife doesn't want me
to like let him watch certain things, but so he won't,
but he will waits, you know what I'm saying. Like
I watched the attitude that were wrestling growing up when
I was like ten eleven years old. So like I've
heard some of those women.
Speaker 1 (23:07):
Cralling around, barking like dogs.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
Yeah, it was crazy. It was crazy, grown man Vince
McMahon taking his pants down and grown men kissing his ass.
Speaker 6 (23:15):
How many lingerie matches did you watch?
Speaker 2 (23:17):
Okay, so by my side, won't watch them.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
You got something something, Yeah, we'll see what happens. But yeah,
this is a battle and I don't know. I don't
know how far I want to take it. Yeah, I
don't care that much. Down, it's time for Skies Wheel
of food, Guys food.
Speaker 4 (23:41):
It's like nervous, splash, excited. I don't know which way
this is going to go, spin the.
Speaker 1 (23:45):
Wheel wherever it lands, Sky Guys Wheel.
Speaker 3 (23:51):
Of Food.
Speaker 1 (23:55):
At sky stop saluting.
Speaker 3 (23:59):
I know, patriotically, I am weird.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
I am pumped America USA, team USA playing in the
World Cup tonight.
Speaker 3 (24:09):
Locked In doesn't get more America than that.
Speaker 1 (24:11):
It's huge.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
It's going to be about as Paraguay could.
Speaker 1 (24:15):
Have no idea.
Speaker 6 (24:17):
Wait a minute, I have told you I'm locked in.
Speaker 4 (24:21):
Wait.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
Wait, by the end of next week, Eddie's gonna know.
Eddie's gonna be like every soccer fan the US where
they're going to know everything about the book company this
guy is. And I'm gonna be like, who's that?
Speaker 6 (24:30):
He's like, how do you not know that? You're right?
Speaker 3 (24:34):
He gets for the Olympics too.
Speaker 6 (24:36):
Yeah, I'm gonna break it all down.
Speaker 2 (24:38):
The same thing. I don't need you to break it down.
Speaker 6 (24:40):
Give you a red card, pal.
Speaker 2 (24:42):
I heard there was a bunch yesterday.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
You heard, so this is this?
Speaker 3 (24:46):
What is going to do to He's going to know
more about it?
Speaker 6 (24:49):
Don't want to watch anything, but then he's going to
know more than all.
Speaker 4 (24:52):
About the car.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
True, I'm not going to watch Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
Alls, So anyway, it was a couple of weeks ago
we decided, you know what, to celebrate America two fifty
we are going to have a new theme for Sky's
Wheel of Food. It is going to be the America Edition.
What does that mean, well, like American classics.
Speaker 3 (25:09):
I love that.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
Things that you know you would eat when you were
growing up, I wouldn't.
Speaker 4 (25:13):
Well, yeah, most people wouldn't.
Speaker 6 (25:15):
But that's what makes you a loser.
Speaker 5 (25:16):
Okay, I don't think. I mean, I feel that's offensive
and rude. To say to your friends you not.
Speaker 6 (25:21):
Eating these foods is offensive and rude.
Speaker 4 (25:24):
Talk to my mom, bro, she was some help. I'll
light up groceries.
Speaker 6 (25:31):
Look why you did?
Speaker 3 (25:32):
Your kids really messed her up.
Speaker 7 (25:35):
We're doing you a favor, like you, you need in
order to be a true American, you need to experience
this stuff at one point or time.
Speaker 4 (25:41):
And I don't feel like that is like you out, Sky,
I don't think.
Speaker 1 (25:44):
That's what's horizons, ladies too shining.
Speaker 5 (25:51):
Are we supposed to be a melting pot that accepts
all kinds of melting pot?
Speaker 2 (25:56):
And I don't think.
Speaker 7 (25:57):
Take a look around, Sky, I don't think that's what's
going on. Take everybody think I think.
Speaker 2 (26:01):
We're supposed to.
Speaker 4 (26:02):
Okay, I think that's what you know. We were founded on.
Speaker 6 (26:05):
Your mouth borders are.
Speaker 5 (26:07):
Closed mouths, but they're close to all countries.
Speaker 4 (26:11):
So I don't discriminate. I treat everyone the.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Same Listen, this is about America. Don't don't make this
worse than it actually is. Okay, it's about America. We
did our global cuisine. This is now about American classics.
Stuff that you I can't believe you never ate.
Speaker 6 (26:27):
You didn't know what a sloppy Joe was.
Speaker 1 (26:29):
It was brutal. You didn't care for Hamburger Helper, you
know the Listen last week's tun cast role that didn't
go so well, That didn't go so well.
Speaker 3 (26:38):
Yeah, that was brutal. I grew that Boger Castro.
Speaker 1 (26:44):
So yeah, Childish.
Speaker 5 (26:46):
Has a little behind the scenes. After I take my
one bite, normally somebody on the show will finish.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
Well, we're not going to waste food the dish, but Jamie,
but cast role, it's got a hard pass, even James Good.
So there is a bunch of comfort classics, American classics
on the wheel. We're going to spin it and see
what you eat this time.
Speaker 4 (27:15):
Baby, come on, come on, baby.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
Oh I know for a fact you've never eaten this,
and it pisses me off because it's delicious.
Speaker 6 (27:25):
I stand by, yes, I stand by.
Speaker 3 (27:27):
The lucky this one.
Speaker 6 (27:28):
You hit the jackpot.
Speaker 4 (27:30):
Oh, yes, you've said this before. And I haven't know.
Speaker 6 (27:33):
This was big for a really long time.
Speaker 1 (27:36):
I feel like it's kind of past its time, but
you know, you can still see it, especially in the
frozen food section. Oh yes, this was a big TV dinner.
It is landed on salisbury steak.
Speaker 2 (27:54):
Wowak, you lucky blesh? What is it?
Speaker 3 (28:02):
Wait? Are you serious?
Speaker 6 (28:03):
You've never had salisbury stek before?
Speaker 3 (28:04):
You never had?
Speaker 4 (28:05):
I don't know, maybe I have, but maybe it.
Speaker 3 (28:07):
Just was No did you ever have?
Speaker 6 (28:11):
It's not it's not steak.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
No, it's definitely not steak. You know how they'll call
it something like a hamburger steak and it's just a
burger patty basically, that's kind of what it is. It's
made out of like chopped meat. There's a gravy, yeah,
you know, and.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
You smother it with gravy kind of a thing, kind
of gravy.
Speaker 6 (28:29):
Like brown gravy.
Speaker 4 (28:30):
Yeah, brown.
Speaker 6 (28:30):
Yeah. When you grew up, you didn't have TV dinners?
Speaker 4 (28:35):
No?
Speaker 5 (28:36):
No, oh god, really again, my mom would shop at
this like weird health store before health foods. Yeah, Like
it was literally the tiniest little store you've ever seen,
because whole Foods didn't exist.
Speaker 4 (28:48):
Like this wasn't I'm not saying I was. It was embarrassing.
Speaker 3 (28:54):
A second shot earlier on the.
Speaker 5 (28:56):
Show, their candy section had honey straws in it. That
was the candy in that place. It was just a
little straw full of honey.
Speaker 4 (29:07):
Okay, So, no.
Speaker 6 (29:08):
You didn't need Hungry Man Swanson's.
Speaker 4 (29:11):
There were no There was never a frozen.
Speaker 3 (29:15):
Cobbler or a little brownie.
Speaker 2 (29:17):
It was always white. It was always white hot.
Speaker 6 (29:19):
You couldn't eat, and didn't you as a kid. I
kind of want to start there.
Speaker 7 (29:25):
I remember I get excited if we were going to
get to e TV dinners and my mom would let
us go to the grocery store pick which one.
Speaker 4 (29:31):
That never ever happened in my world.
Speaker 5 (29:33):
And then wait, when lunchables became a thing when they
were first invented, No I was. I was so jealous
of everybody at school making their little cracker ham sandwiches.
Speaker 3 (29:44):
No I got.
Speaker 5 (29:47):
I got the all natural peanut butter and honey sandwich
on like disgusting wheat bread.
Speaker 4 (29:54):
That like literally had seeds in it.
Speaker 6 (29:56):
Okay, so this should be all good and exciting fos
for you because we're you know, it's a little blast
from the past.
Speaker 4 (30:04):
But I don't like gravy.
Speaker 5 (30:05):
You don't like food, Like on Thanksgiving, I don't put any.
Speaker 4 (30:09):
On any on my turkey, on my mashed potatoes, on
any missing.
Speaker 2 (30:13):
I like gravy out there for me with syrup. I like, obviously,
I like serers. You love sauces, but I love sausage.
I'm not. I'm not a mushroom gravy guy. Really brown
gravy only thing.
Speaker 6 (30:23):
What about sausage gravy for breakfast?
Speaker 2 (30:25):
I never really had that.
Speaker 1 (30:28):
You don't go that done, I never really went Okay, okay, okay, okay, interesting, Yeah,
brown gravy is good, slicious. All right, Sky is going
to eat Salisbury steak for the first time? I can.
Speaker 5 (30:43):
I feel like this is going to be a sodium
bomb for some reason, like all these Americans.
Speaker 1 (30:48):
Have been so terribly seventies horribly let's go bro Okay,
all right, let's see it Salsbury steak.
Speaker 6 (30:58):
Now again. This ain't gonna be pretty, I'm tell you
that right now.
Speaker 1 (31:02):
Look at that yummy.
Speaker 3 (31:05):
Look at her face.
Speaker 2 (31:07):
Looks more like a glaze, dude.
Speaker 4 (31:11):
Yeah, like like a weird gelatine that's.
Speaker 2 (31:14):
Been sitting out crop from National's vacation.
Speaker 4 (31:17):
This is a real food. This is a movie.
Speaker 3 (31:19):
It looks like pood.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
Yeah it does.
Speaker 5 (31:21):
It is way too shiny like Okay, I was expecting
stuff in the gravy.
Speaker 4 (31:26):
I don't know, like peas or mushrooms or something.
Speaker 6 (31:30):
He's in the gravy. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (31:31):
He's in a gravy.
Speaker 7 (31:32):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (31:32):
I was expecting.
Speaker 1 (31:34):
You know nothing about food. It's crazy, great, crazy.
Speaker 4 (31:37):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 5 (31:37):
I don't know anything about food, frozen preservative food.
Speaker 1 (31:41):
Can you stop? You're already mentally out and you haven't
even tried it yet.
Speaker 3 (31:46):
Have you seen it?
Speaker 1 (31:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (31:48):
I would eat all of that.
Speaker 2 (31:49):
Yeah anymore?
Speaker 1 (31:50):
Though, what do you mean, well, I'm a skinny bitch?
Speaker 6 (31:52):
Or I mean that?
Speaker 2 (31:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (31:56):
Probably that looks yummy.
Speaker 4 (31:58):
Is so congealed in a weird, weird way.
Speaker 3 (32:02):
You're congealed in a weird way.
Speaker 1 (32:03):
Okay, I agree with that.
Speaker 6 (32:05):
I agree with that. Nothing truer has ever been said.
Speaker 4 (32:09):
But no, that's not appetizing to the eyeballs.
Speaker 1 (32:12):
I mean, she.
Speaker 3 (32:15):
Smells it hates and then she makes the stiffy noise.
Speaker 4 (32:18):
It just smells like sodium.
Speaker 2 (32:19):
No, it doesn't smell so it's a you like a
burger patty?
Speaker 3 (32:23):
I do I do kind of like a burger patty.
Speaker 4 (32:26):
That's grav scary.
Speaker 6 (32:28):
But she doesn't love America. That's the hard part.
Speaker 3 (32:30):
That's it's.
Speaker 1 (32:34):
All right, Emily Bike Coordinator, go ahead and get in there.
I mean, I don't think you're going to need a knife,
but I mean it's pretty.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
Oh it's cooked that well.
Speaker 1 (32:42):
Yeah, I mean it's four tender. Oh give me an
extra gravy.
Speaker 4 (32:47):
Putting extra gravy horrible.
Speaker 2 (32:50):
It looks cold is horrible.
Speaker 6 (32:54):
Gravy is delicious.
Speaker 4 (32:56):
That's the scariest part.
Speaker 1 (32:58):
The gravy.
Speaker 4 (32:59):
Yes, Like I'm not I'm scared about a burger patty.
Speaker 1 (33:01):
I'm it looks a little spongy. Yeah, I made.
Speaker 3 (33:07):
Sounds very stick at home. It didn't look like Yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (33:10):
Don't know that's all about. But anyway, all right, Sky
Salisbury's steak a true American classic.
Speaker 4 (33:18):
How old is this gravy? I feel like it's been
sitting out for.
Speaker 6 (33:21):
Like it's gonna taste like the stars and stripes.
Speaker 3 (33:25):
Come on fires going off in her mouth.
Speaker 6 (33:27):
I could see it.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
This is gonna be a dream come true, true American dream.
Here Here we go, Sky enjoy sounds very steak. Here
we go down the hatch pal okay. I hated the
way she took that bike. Oh, come on, no, no,
there's no way, there's no way, there's no way.
Speaker 3 (33:50):
I don't understand sales steak. No, it's not that much
going on.
Speaker 6 (33:55):
What's wrong with it?
Speaker 4 (33:57):
Like, it's not going to make me cry or tear
up or gag.
Speaker 3 (33:59):
Or any thing.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
But because it's good.
Speaker 4 (34:02):
No, it's not.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
It's good.
Speaker 5 (34:04):
You know that gravy is wer gelatine slot like slide,
like slide.
Speaker 4 (34:10):
It's like the slide my daughter used to make when
she was a kid.
Speaker 6 (34:13):
It's not any actually.
Speaker 5 (34:15):
And then literally, if I was blindfolded and you gave
me just the meat and you asked me what is it?
Speaker 1 (34:21):
I couldn't tell you.
Speaker 5 (34:24):
The texture of that is like something I've never You're
so right, like a piece of yoga mat.
Speaker 3 (34:33):
Something about it still good.
Speaker 6 (34:34):
If you put gravy on a yoga mat, I eat it.
Speaker 4 (34:37):
That's the problem. See, I feel that it's not wrong.
Speaker 6 (34:41):
You're ruining America. Loving is not good.
Speaker 4 (34:46):
Okay, whatever, Tommy
