We all know what it's like to find something first and how cool it was to show things off to people. Well what was it like when you discovered something way after everyone else had and it was overdone at that point? Well we found a list of things that once they gained popularity, it was too much and not cool anymore.

It's our version of The Newly Wed Game, The newly Show Game! The teams this week were Eddie and Emily vs. Sky and Thor and we see who knows their partner best!

Emily is a wine lover so we put her to the challenge to try this new wine hack. Apparently it tastes really good when you put frozen pickles in wine???

With feel like the show is going to be great.
This show, I would like to introduce you to the ringleader, Eddie.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
Here's the thing about Eddie you need to know. Eddie
doesn't have the ability to not be the.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Mother of this crew.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Sky.

Speaker 4 (00:20):
I'm kind of miss meek, like you can almost talk
me into anything.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
I'm not a social butterfly, nor do I want to be.

Speaker 5 (00:27):
And Emily, I am sometimes very very selfish and sometimes
I'm actually very very gibbing.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Welcome to the show on San diegos Rock station Rock
one oh five three.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Oh boy. We should have saw this coming, you know.
I mean, you know, if you put a fork in
a microwave.

Speaker 5 (00:47):
Yeah, if you put a cold a fork in a
microwave and then keep denying it or saying why you
did it, just that.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Worst just stands by the putting a fork in a microwave.

Speaker 4 (00:59):
That makes it still doesn't matter how cold that fork is.
I mean it could come out of the freezer. Basically,
you still don't put it in a microst Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Nuts.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Uh. We heard recently that Thor really wanted to hydrate.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
His baby had a one two point fever.

Speaker 5 (01:17):
Yeah, yeah, eight.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
Three okay, and so he made the wild decision to
bite off a piece of popstacle and shove it down
his throat and choked him.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Yeah, but luckily I was there because I saved one.
Of course you were there.

Speaker 5 (01:36):
You were the one who just.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Shoved it in his mouth. Else would you walk out
of the room now.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
But somebody else that could have been there could have
frozen that moment, no pun intended and not have smacked
his back and bent and gave him the hut.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
You don't get a pat on the back for saving
him after you and like messed him up.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
It's like you shoot somebody and you go No, I
put pressure on the wound until they got to the hospital.

Speaker 5 (02:02):
Yeah, you still shot you still cause you.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Understand the hero. You understand that it was a mistake.
But then luckily I was there to save him. Okay.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Anybody see that show or that documentary The Crash on Netflix.
It's like you, you intentionally drove a car into a wall,
but then we're a hero because you pulled somebody out. Yes,
you don't get credit for that.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
I wouldn't. I wouldn't say with you that you were worse.
You're worse.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
You're going to do They're going to do a documentary
on the popsicles called So there was some some dad fails.
He's still learning. He's still learning, and that's fine, you know,
you live and learn. But apparently over the weekend had
a couple more This guy guy, This guy's a nightmare.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
One I think is something that I did well. The
other one was just a hot mistake. The first one,
my son's hair is coming in and.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
I like to get your wife is combing it to
the side. He's like a little gentleman. Yeah, little gentleman hair.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
I love it. I love side.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Hopefully he's got dad's hair.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
I hope. So my wife's got gray hair too, though
she's very thick, mine's very straight. I want him to
have some waves. Yeah, a great form. I also don't
want to have my hairline because I have a widow's peak.
I'd like if he had my wife's hairline. What's wrong
with the widow's peak, I don't know. I've got a
lot of calics too. I just it.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
Depends how prominent the widows is, you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
I like to have a straight Really, you have an
amazing set of hair. Don't do this to me. Okay,
your son has more hair than I do right now.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Okay, he's only growing hair, like Costanza. He's only grown
it on the sides right now. He's got some on top.
It's very comb over on top, but on the sides,
he's like seven months old, he's talking about. I'll say
it so, but like the sides behind his ears are
starting to get like bushy and long. It's kind of

(04:09):
like you ever see acidic jew and they have those
long sideburns. Yes, that's what my son's got going on.
I don't think he's got curls. I don't think. I
don't think. I feel like it's taking away from his cuteness.
Oh so you are.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
So obsessed with this kid being cute and like people
thinking he's cute.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
It is. It is nice though, when somebody goes, he's
a really cute baby, and then they always go I
usually don't I and like I usually will always say that,
but like your baby was actually really cute. I get actual. Yeah,
I get that a lot.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
This is a good feeling, which is a good feeling
caircut no, no.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
No, because it's not that much on top of yet
he's just so much.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
On the side.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
What it's just he's like bushy, you know. So I
just so my wife was at you know, she's out
at the barn, and I just decided, why don't I.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
Just know, Oh you you did a little your mind?
Are you actually serious?

Speaker 2 (05:08):
You're just that little like piece right there, just a little.
I didn't touch anything else. I just went a little
because it was like sticking straight out.

Speaker 5 (05:14):
You don't cut baby's hair.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Why not, Like you don't cut baby's hair.

Speaker 5 (05:21):
Like I don't know. I feel like you wait until
they're older, first of all. Second of all, it's kind
of a big deal when you do baby's first haircut.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Like some people would this be considered baby's first haircut though.

Speaker 5 (05:30):
The first times on his head. I mean, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
It was a little tiny.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
While I don't agree with what he did, but I
wouldn't say this is baby's first haircut, because you've got
to go somewhere for babies first haircut exactly. Then he's
just doing it at all. Well, he's a psychopath.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
Save their hair too, Oh of course, little hair.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
A little It was just a little. It was just
a little. How do I feel about that? She wasn't happy?

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Yeah, of course she was.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
You called an idiot for it was used a lot.
I thought she was. My wife's very dramatic.

Speaker 5 (06:05):
You heard yourself.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
It's a little bit. It's a little much. I just
send her multiple pictures a day when she's at work
of him. She tries to FaceTime me at work. She
misses him so much.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
We got it, okay, but she doesn't see you.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
You said on Friday that your son, you didn't see
your until three o'clock, and you thought I would never
see him again.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
You're the same way.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
Yeah, you're both the same way. You're always checking the
baby monitor here at work, and sometimes.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
You sleep regression.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Right now, he's a baby.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Babies do what they do.

Speaker 5 (06:37):
They go Sometimes they'll go through a week or two
where they sleep good and then a week or two
sleep regression.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Yeah, stop reading books. Up until up until about two
weeks ago, he would sleep from five thirty seven pm
seven am, And now lately he's up at like four
or thirty, which sucks.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
That happens.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
It's called the sleep regression. It's usually it's usually fundamental milestones,
big milestones. Oh my God, that's going on, like teeth
coming in now he's on the internet, thank you. So
it's crazy sleep regressions. You guys have kids in a
long time.

Speaker 5 (07:11):
I had a sleep regression from like eight to twelve.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
So yeah, I remember that buckle up rough.

Speaker 4 (07:18):
So Hailey, Hailey was mad, Daily was mad.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
She wasn't happy with me.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
Did you save the hair?

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Why would I save save that hair? Because he still
has hair on his head.

Speaker 5 (07:28):
Yeah, but it's like like it was like very, it
was like very that's what book A lot of people.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
There's like a book, like there's a baby book, baby's first.

Speaker 6 (07:42):
Year, and there's a page for a little bit to
see his little hair right there on the side of
his ear sticking out that little like tiny strand I
cut why because it looked terrible.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Right there? No, no, it's not old right there?

Speaker 4 (07:57):
Does you have a photo shoot today?

Speaker 5 (07:59):
What's he's ready for the World Cup?

Speaker 2 (08:07):
He's a soccer kid. Hey, I said it. Hey, I
said it, So I cut that piece of hair. My
wife not happy. Okay, well, you're a nutcase. Whatever. I don't.
I think you knew what you were doing, because you you.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Knew that that you had you needed to wait for
Haley to get home to make this call.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
She does thinks of that me all the time. Remember
when she fed him, uh food, like not food but
like that like baby food, baby food for the first time,
solid solids, solids, sleep aggression, and she fed him for
the first time and without me. So she does this
all the time. I don't know the same level all
the time. She fed him avocados and egg the other day. WHOA, Yeah,

(08:45):
I wasn't there for that is baby's first avocado? Place
in the book for that?

Speaker 5 (08:49):
There isn't. Actually there isn't a little.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Paid for that.

Speaker 4 (08:54):
Put the pit in the way actually a place where
you put babies Baby's for solids.

Speaker 5 (08:59):
Yeah, so we have.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
That book, but there's nothing in it, and it's just
sitting on my wife's covered in plastic. Still she has.

Speaker 5 (09:07):
I filled out about two pages and then.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
I think it's in there and we can still take
another He still has hair on his head.

Speaker 5 (09:16):
I didn't shave it.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Babies put it in there page thirteen. Okay, So so
we did that. She wasn't happy we Also. The other
thing we did is he outgrew, so we had this
car seat where you could take the car seat out
of the car, put it in the stroller. Yeah, it
was great because then you don't have to take the

(09:38):
giant Uh that's how the fascinet thing some of them.
Some people don't have that. Some people have it like
where it's always in the car and they have to
go back and forth that. Yeah. So yeah, so we we.
So now he's outgrown the regular the smaller car seat,
which sucks, and we had to get one that uh
that stays in the car, and like kind of turned

(10:00):
pretty much. And so my wife we only have one.
We got to buy a second one. I don't know
why we only bought one. And my wife has to
keep your car, Yeah, we got to. But like, yeah,
and I thought, oh, it would be easy just to
take it in and out. It's not easy. It's not easy.
Does it have a base? And yeah, and it's a
pain in the ass apparently to get in and out.
So we're just gonna have to. But we have one

(10:22):
in the truck and I hadn't used it yet. I
know how to strap them in, but I hadn't used
it yet. And I I thought maybe that he reached
the age where he could face me face forward, because
I'm like, because I turned it and it faced forward.
So I'm thinking, ready for good.

Speaker 5 (10:43):
No, they're like, just because it was it was able
to flip forward.

Speaker 4 (10:47):
I figured.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
I figured that fine. I figured we're flipping forward. Now
are you?

Speaker 4 (10:52):
Are they two years old when you've.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
Read five articles on sleep progression but you don't know
how to put in your baby's car seats?

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Clearly you don't. Second, he was strapped in. But it
wasn't like he had no you didn't with it. It
wasn't like he had no seatbelt on with his head
sticking out the window like a rottweiler. Okay, he was.
He was locked in. What could possibly happen? What could

(11:25):
possibly happen? You can't defend this. So halfway there, he's
loving it. He's looking at me, he's smiling. He's seeing
the world.

Speaker 5 (11:35):
Facing the other way.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
Biggest windows, not not the front window, baby, not the
front windows. Biggest smile on his face. Guy was out
of the time of his life. I was touching his
foot while I was driving out that I wasn't looking
at him. I have one hand. No, No, it's really smart. Smart,
it's crazy. And then halfway through my wife randomly calls

(11:58):
me and I said it I said, I said this
is wild, right, and she got mad. Yeah, She's like,
you need to pull over right now. He's he needs
to face the other side. That's so dangerous. First of all,
I mean, time out, is it that bgerous? We're in
this big truck, he's strapped and in that case, read it.

(12:20):
Read that article. I will read that.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
Okay, I'll catch it.

Speaker 5 (12:22):
If you got pulled over, that's legal.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
Oh yeah, you get a ticket.

Speaker 5 (12:26):
Year face and I'll tell you what. Read his face
of rear for a long time.

Speaker 4 (12:32):
He got it.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
Until like two weeks ago. Sorry, but honestly, one of
them one of the dumber things I've heard in a
long time.

Speaker 4 (12:43):
Do you not know that? Bro?

Speaker 2 (12:45):
Like, well, I was new to this car. Seems crazy.

Speaker 4 (12:49):
Why do you think it's swivels so you.

Speaker 5 (12:50):
Can have both?

Speaker 2 (12:51):
No, so it makes it easier to get him out.
That's why it swivels, Well, I think because four.

Speaker 4 (12:57):
I think because when he gets bigger.

Speaker 5 (12:59):
It can because then you face that ba before.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Yeah, well like that probably too, but also swivel to
get him out, so that's why you Okay, Yeah, So
that happened and I had to pull over, which was
a pain in the ass. I was late to my
gym appointment. Gym appointment because he's in childcare there lifetime,
so I was late. They were happy with that. Okay,
I blame my wife. You play your wife. I mean

(13:23):
he would have been he would have been fine. We're
not going on a road trip with him that way, Red, Like,
what did they do in the fifties. In the sixties,
they didn't have this.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
Babies were flying out of cars.

Speaker 4 (13:34):
Yeah, they smoked with the windows up, and babies were
flying into cold one. Yeah, totally cold one.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
So he's fine. No longer, jew no longer did in the.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
Face face face forward guy.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
Yeah. And then on the way home, I had to
face the other way tears. Oh he's sad. Maybe he
was just no, he was miserable. I swear where I
want to see out the other window.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
Before you do anything from now on.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
Check, Yeah, just check. We apparently check with Emily.

Speaker 5 (14:04):
I would have told you to save that hair. The
baby books.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
Uh, the whole TSA process.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
Is so annoying. Oh it's brutal. Right, Yeah, we got
standing in line, got through the scan. I mean the
whole thing is brutal. Well, one airport is testing out
a new way of doing things now. I'm not sure
if we're gonna like this or not, but we'll see
what could be the new way to screen us at
the airport when we get back on the show at
Rock with a five three. So, I think just about

(14:35):
everybody dreads going to the airport, mainly because of the
TSA line, right, I mean, that's the worst part about it.
I mean, you know, getting through TSA, you're kind of like,
all right, now, I'm fine and go get a snack
or hang out, read whatever.

Speaker 4 (14:49):
That's what you always say is like when you finally
like breathe and the stress is gone and you're on vacation.
Is the second you get through the TSA.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Oh I'm so chill after that, But you get there
like a day early because.

Speaker 4 (15:02):
He's freaked out before.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
That helps, Yeah, helps anxiety getting through the line though,
because you never know. You never know, like it could
be super long or it could be super quick whatever.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
But this is the whole process. It's just all in
the ass storing the TSA shutdown where it was like
half shut down. My wife were really freaked out. We
had never traveled with my son before and this was
a few months ago, so we got there three and
a half hours early because we were like, you don't know,
that's not normal.

Speaker 5 (15:29):
And we got yeah, you know that's not normal for you.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
Well we got right through in five minutes. Then we
had over three hours to kill at the airport with
a four month olds. Heaven. It wasn't heaven. It wasn't
because he was crying. We were all three of us
were fussy on one.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
I get that.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
It's crazy.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
Yeah, so you know, going just going through the line,
taking the shoes off, picking my laptop, doing the whole thing,
belt off, everything, it's just it's whatever.

Speaker 5 (16:02):
It's annoying, and it's like irritating to when everybody else
doesn't know what to do, like that man, like my man,
that's me lashing out because Robert he always acts like
he doesn't. Oh you mean you have to take the
belt out. I have to take these keys out of
my pocket Like what.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
Yes, it's metal that metal detector.

Speaker 5 (16:20):
Yeah, you can't for a pocketknife.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
People get afraid to stand near the scanner, like you
feel like if you stand near it, then you're gonna
get arrested. So the line just keeps getting further and
further back, and I'm like, what and I always look
and I just go, I just go. Guys, everyone move up.

Speaker 5 (16:38):
Oh you're directed traffic.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
Oh yeah, direct traffic. The line starts right before you
step in, but it just keeps getting further and further.
People get scared at the airport. It's so odd.

Speaker 5 (16:47):
I feel they're giving the person in their privacy for
some reasons. They're just your clothes are on.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
Yeah, it's a lot. The whole thing, the whole process
is a lot. Why I guess there is one airport
where they're going to be testing out a whole new
way to screen people.

Speaker 4 (17:03):
Yes, this is the first in the nation, and they
say if it's a success and if people do it,
then it's going to spread to other airports across the US.
They are starting this program in Boston at Logan Airport,
And basically what the deal is is you can sign up,
you got to pay a little bit of money, but
you can sign up for a remote screaming option. So basically,

(17:29):
they have these off site parking lots right like pretty
much every airport does. But because it's Boston and it's
a bigger city, you know, you could pick the one
that's you know, five minutes away, ten minutes away and
then the cheapest one is thirty minutes away from the airport.
So what they decided to do. Yeah, it's at Little Framingham.

(17:53):
It's in Framingham outside of Boston. And so at this facility,
which was a park and total facility. Anyway, they have
set up a remote screening option. So before you get
on your bus, you have to make a reservation. But
you can make a reservation up to like an hour

(18:13):
and a half before your flight, you know, and it's
gonna cost you nine bucks and you show up and
you yeah, that's that's the you know option for that
if you want to do the remote screening. So a
nine dollars and you show up and you go into
the building. I guess there's a building there and you

(18:34):
go through your TSA screening there. So you already have
to be checked into your flight. You already have to
have your boarding pass on your phone or print it
out at home or however you do it. And in
this building they will do TSA. You'll go through the machine.
You'll stand too far back and make it thorpe set. Yeah,
your bag will bit scanned. They'll put the tag on

(18:55):
it if you're checking your bag or if it's a
carry on, then you do. So it's all the normal
screening you do at the airport, but you're just doing
it with a much smaller group. And then what they
do is they put you on a bus which they
call a secure bus cause it's different than just the
normal shuttles for people who are parking. They put you

(19:16):
on the secure bus, and then when you get to
the airport, they drop you off at some area where
you can enter the airport, which is already past the
TSA security So it's not even like a sideline that
you have to go in through. You're actually getting in
a door that's over by where the gates are. Your

(19:38):
bag's already been checked, you've already been screened, and all
you got to do is get your snacks and wait
for your flight at that point.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
My only problem with this is is how do they
trust that everyone's going to do the right thing when, like,
I like, there's just because you still have to then
travel to the airport. I just feel like these terrorists
are crazy, like they could figure stuff out out where
they could sneak step. Once you're through, you're not at
the airport yet, yeah, but.

Speaker 4 (20:04):
You're immediately put on what they call a secure bus.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
So you go from the line right to the bus,
is what it's outing around?

Speaker 5 (20:10):
No, you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (20:12):
No, but I mean so I don't know. I'd have
to see what Yeah.

Speaker 5 (20:16):
I mean in less probably like they're like TSA people
watching everybody, I mean walking.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
Rus the TSA people though, I mean, it's just regular.

Speaker 4 (20:24):
But how is it different than trusting the TSA people
at the airport?

Speaker 2 (20:28):
You know what I mean, I guess you get. But
once you get through the TSA line, you're in with this,
you still have to like go somewhere and travel yeah,
thirty Yeah, that's so.

Speaker 4 (20:39):
It's like I guess it depends on your airport. If
the TSA line at your airport can get to be like,
say an hour long, if you're at one of these
bigger airports, maybe it is worth your time to do
this even though you're doing a thirty minute bus drive.
Or say you park in one of these remote lots
anyway and take a shuttle bus in any way, then you.

Speaker 5 (20:58):
Pay in the park and then also pay to use
the service.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
Is everybody willing to pay?

Speaker 4 (21:03):
No, I'm not nine bucks.

Speaker 5 (21:04):
I don't know if it's a super busy time, I
can have the uber drop me off there twenty if.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
You can't take an uber to drop you off.

Speaker 5 (21:11):
At the TSA one of these, so you're not paying
the park, you're just getting dropped. So they dropped off
there getting scanned. It's already boom boom boom. I know
how long it's gonna take. Yeah, I don't know. I
think it's convenient if that's the way, Like it wasn't
there closer ones too, Thirty minutes was the farthest one.

Speaker 4 (21:25):
Well, so, so I meant there's closer ones as far
as just parking lots with shuttles, but this is the
only one as of now that does the TSA pre screening.
So nine bucks. Kids under eighteen traveling with adults are free,
though they don't have to pay the nine buck fee.
As of now, it's only for Delta and Jet Blue

(21:48):
because they're dropping you off at that gate wing, you
know what I mean. Well, yeah, as far as the
Boston Airport goes, some airports all the airlines are in
one wing. Other air reports it's like this wings for
this airline blah blah. So if they're dropping you off
past TSA, you can only access Delta and Jet Blue.
So again, they're gonna see if it's popular, if people

(22:10):
are using it, and if so, then they're gonna start
a Expand that's.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
What I did right through. That's I don't have it,
but my wife does. It's great. Crazy, Yeah it's crazy,
but shemever, she did it for herself and not for me. Yeah, well,
why don't you do it? I gotta do it. I
don't care.

Speaker 3 (22:27):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
You ever think it's super cool to find out something
and then you let your friends know about it, and
you're the one that you know discovered it, and then
all of a sudden, everybody discovers it and it becomes
too popular that it could be a show, It could
be you know whatever restaurant. Well, we're gonna see what
things have been ruined because too many people discovered it.
Coming up next on the show, A rock with a

(22:47):
five three. So I'm trying to remember who was the
first one out of us to watch Tiger King.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
I think it was me.

Speaker 1 (22:58):
Yeah, And I remember coming telling you guys about it,
and Emily jumped on that bandwagon real quick, and she
liked it, and everybody liked it. But we could never
convince Thor to watch it, because by the time you know,
he was even thinking about it, it blew up and
it got too popular and you didn't want to watch

(23:20):
it out of spike.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
Yeah, and became it became too much, where like everyone
was talking about it NonStop, and I was just like
and I just and I started seeing some clips and
I was just like this, I don't feel like this
looks stumb to me. I don't want to watch it.
And then I heard some things about the animals. I
don't know. I just I just never watched it. And
it was hit during COVID too. It was kind of

(23:43):
like the Last Dance where it was the only thing
on is Hyes, so like that's why everyone watched it
so much.

Speaker 1 (23:48):
Yeah, you know, yeah, but that that will happen where
you kind of discover something, whether it be a show
or a restaurant or something, and you want to be
the first to discover it, and then you start telling
your friends about it, and then next thing you know,
somebody else tells them, and then somebody else tells them,
and it becomes too big.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
Yeah, too popular, Yeah, and then you look like ady.

Speaker 1 (24:07):
Yeah, You're like, wait a minute, I was on the
tip of this well they apparently there is a bunch
of these things that, you know, people think that they
were on the tip of, but then it got ruined
because too many people discovered it.

Speaker 4 (24:21):
Yeah, one of these we were just talking about in
the last break. This whole thread and the TSA pre
check was mentioned multiple times because sometimes people will show
up and the pre check line will be longer than
the TSA line.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
I've actually it's very rare. It's always the opposite, but
I've seen it. They're like one time I'll come up
and I'm like that's crazy, yeah, and then I'll go.

Speaker 4 (24:45):
Feel like you win.

Speaker 2 (24:46):
Yeah, It's very rare, but I've seen it happen.

Speaker 4 (24:48):
Yeah, totally. Also in regards to airport airport lounges, they
used to be this cool little secret perk and now
literally there will be a sign outside letting you you
have to get in a queue and wait in line
and wait for people to leave before they'll let someone else.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
When you leave San Diego Airport Internal two, there's that
Delta lounge right there. Twice I've seen the line outside
the door really waiting to get in. My sister's a
Delta lounge chick.

Speaker 5 (25:18):
I heard stuff about those lounges amazing that every time
somebody tells me about what's in there, I'm like, no,
top notch sushi, champagnes flowing, there's like locker room like
area you could clean up. Totally fancy stuff that was
a basic fancy all the time.

Speaker 4 (25:38):
Such a traveler. Food trucks. People say they used to
be cheap, like cool, quick options to get food.

Speaker 1 (25:45):
I think that's died out now. But in the beginning,
like there was this time the food trucks became insane.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
I remember every Friday night you'd be like a place
to go for like eight food trucks.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
Yeah, you couldn't even get to the front of it
because there was two many people there. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
Yeah, you're like, what the hell happened?

Speaker 5 (26:02):
And they weren't cheaper either, it was like exclusive.

Speaker 4 (26:05):
Yeah. Now on once they're discovered farmers markets, same kind
of thing, Like good luck park near a farmer's market.
Now you got park like a mile away to get there.

Speaker 5 (26:16):
Yeah that La mesa farmer's market used to be really
small and it was on like a little like small
little piece of the block, and now it's like three
blocks long, jam packed.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
Wouldn't that be good? Though?

Speaker 5 (26:26):
Because yes, it is good. Yeah, but but I missed
the smallness.

Speaker 4 (26:30):
Another thing that was ruined because too many people discovered it,
driving shortcuts once the ways app was released, Your secret
little shortcut through the neighborhood. Now everybody knows it and
there's traffic taking the shortcut now.

Speaker 7 (26:46):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (26:46):
The Internet, they say everything is an ad. You used
to be able to just find your thing right away,
and now it's like ad ad ad is this legit? Okay,
I finally found my thing. According to people, Pokemon cards
used to be a little fun, little nerd hobby. Now
you literally have to get into a fistfight with somebody
to get the newest card. Thrifting is another thing that's

(27:11):
a good one. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (27:12):
You go into those places now and they're like super
crowded and it's like, you know, young girls and stuff
and are expensive. I don't get it, right, get it?

Speaker 4 (27:21):
They say? Service animals once people realize they could put
a vest on their pick and animal.

Speaker 2 (27:30):
Emotional support just wanted to that dog travel the world.

Speaker 4 (27:35):
World nature has been ruined because too many people have
discovered it. The secret swing, the secret swim spot, whatever
it is. Once you know influencer posts about it, good luck.

Speaker 1 (27:47):
It was wild seeing your picture from Yosemite. You guys
did like a small hike over to like a waterfall,
and the amount of people that were already there.

Speaker 5 (27:55):
Oh, it's crazy.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
It was like this isn't like, this doesn't feel normal, and.

Speaker 4 (28:00):
Like you have to circle forever to get parking to
even get to the hike spot to then hike to
get to the spot where everybody else is. Yeah, it's pretty.
I didn't see that come in. But turns out that
is a thing in nature now. And the final thing
that people say was ruined because too many people have
discovered it conventions, specifically Comic Con. They say, comic Con

(28:24):
used to be this cool local thing and now.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
Yeah, like that like seventies, it's big for a while.

Speaker 4 (28:31):
Yeah, and now they say locals can't even get tickets
because there's so many people coming from all over the country,
if not the world, to go to comic Con.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
That's big.

Speaker 7 (28:40):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (28:41):
Me and my wife are in a disagreement about something
that has to do with my son.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
Now.

Speaker 1 (28:47):
It's about letting him do something in particular. Oh, I'll
tell you what we don't agree about. See what you
guys think when we get back on the show A
rock with a five to three. So me and my
wife are usually pretty good about being on the same
page of what's going on with our kids, always have been,
which is that's a big help. Honestly, when you can

(29:07):
agree on how you're gonna raise them, what you're gonna do,
certain things we believe in, it's a big help. And
so we are usually on the same page when it
comes to a lot of stuff. I mean, there will
these small disagreements that obviously happen, but for the most part,
we agree on how we want to raise our kids.

Speaker 2 (29:22):
So it's been good.

Speaker 1 (29:25):
Well, there has been something that's popped up kind of
recently that is different for us. We're on two completely
different pages when it comes to something that has to
do with my son and letting him do something, where
I think it's kind of silly and it's like whatever,
what's the big deal, and my wife is adamant about

(29:45):
not letting him do something. So my wife is a
goodye two shoes. You think I'm a rule follower, you
have no idea. She grew up, always has been born,
raised the goody two shoes, always the teacher's pet. You know, first,
the first person showing up for things. You know, she's
like very big time goodie two shoes and we're you know,

(30:09):
I'm I'm a pretty big rule for her. But you know,
I'll get in there from time to time of like,
you know whatever. But she she for the first part,
she's straight and narrow, you know whatever. And so you know,
we've raised our kids to you know, have really good
morals and things like that and you know, try to
do the right thing. Well, the way my wife grew

(30:30):
up is that she was not ever allowed to see
an R rated movie until she was what's the age,
seventeen eighteen, yeah, whatever, So she never saw, like there's
so many movies that you know, in the eighties and
nineties that I'll say, hey, you see blah blah blah.
She's like, no, it was right, it are wow. I know,

(30:51):
but I mean everybody saw Jaws or whatever. I don't
remember what's R you know, but I mean like all
those scary movies growing up, never saw those are all
rated R. Yeah, like like Nightmare and elm Street and
those kind of things.

Speaker 4 (31:03):
Yeah, those were the ones that me and my girlfriends
would see, and I remember we started seeing them. I
don't know about fourteen fifteen, and we you know, we
thought we were so cool. I mean, now one of
the parents would have to buy the tickets so we
could get in, but they they would because they're like, yeah,
these are this is a goofy slasher for.

Speaker 1 (31:19):
Even renting movies. Yeah, she wouldn't see r rady movies.

Speaker 5 (31:22):
Oh that's what check. I don't remember what happens if
you were like going to house.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
Point like die Hard, Yeah, like an R rated movie.
I never saw it.

Speaker 5 (31:33):
And like, was there those movies sitting around the house
too at her house? I don't know she could pop
one in?

Speaker 1 (31:38):
Well, no, I don't think your parents would let her,
wouldn't And yes, and she was such a good she
wouldn't do it behind the back.

Speaker 4 (31:45):
Yeah, because I think if a movie has the F
word in it, it automatically gets an R rating. Like
there's certain words and certain body parts that will automatically
trigger the R rating. So it's crazy to think that
she went that long without seeing an R yeah movie,
but that was.

Speaker 1 (32:01):
The rule, so she wouldn't do it. So it was
kind of crazy to me. You know, when I bring
up a certain movie and say, hey, do you ever
see it? No, I never saw it because it was
our really, but at some point don't you just kind
of do it?

Speaker 2 (32:15):
Really?

Speaker 1 (32:15):
But okay whatever, That's how she grew up. And so
this has never really come up before because my daughter Taylor,
who's older, she's sixteen now, never really requested to go
see an R rated movie or watch an R rated movie.
It severally popped up, but my son has. So have

(32:37):
you guys seen the you know, trailer or seen this
movie back Rooms?

Speaker 2 (32:44):
These horror flicks are making a comeback, So horror movies.

Speaker 1 (32:48):
This one is.

Speaker 4 (32:48):
Pretty specific, but I haven't seen the trailer or anything.

Speaker 1 (32:51):
Yeah, this movie back Rooms, which I think last weekend
was like the number one movie or whatever.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
One would they like walk through Walls?

Speaker 1 (33:00):
Yes, So it was basically what this is is this
started as like a YouTube thing and like like there
was a YouTube short or whatever about this movie, and
you know, it became the sensation on YouTube and all
these people, well the person that made him decided or

(33:21):
you know, to make it into a feature filmy and
he's like a young guy. He's like twenty something, you know,
super young guy. And you know that's why it's like
a big.

Speaker 2 (33:28):
Deal or whatever.

Speaker 1 (33:29):
This YouTube movie became like this feature film and it's
a huge hit totally, and it's a it's a horror movie,
but it's like a more psychological thriller type of a thing.
So basically the premise of the movie is this guy
works at a store. He goes into like one of
these rooms, but it leads him into like another almost dimension,

(33:52):
and it makes him spiral into insanity and it's like
really creepy and crazy and the things he sees and
the like all this stuff.

Speaker 2 (34:02):
It's a trip.

Speaker 4 (34:03):
Yeah, you know, it sounds like.

Speaker 1 (34:05):
And so of course my son, who is in the
YouTube generation, wants to go see this movie, you know,
and was all hyped. He actually wanted to go see
it on opening weekend.

Speaker 4 (34:15):
Oh wow.

Speaker 1 (34:16):
And I didn't know anything about it. I was like,
what the hell is this back rooms and what is it?
I didn't know anything about it, And so come to
find out, it's right, Dar, And it wasn't even a
question in my wife's mind. Well it's rad, Dar. He
can't go see it. He's he's fourteen, just had his
birth in high school, he's going to be a freshman

(34:36):
in high school.

Speaker 2 (34:37):
Can't see it. That's wild.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
And I go, well, wait a minute, I go, let
me at least look into this. I don't know anything
about it or whatever. So I didn't know. I didn't
know anything about it. So I looked into it.

Speaker 4 (34:48):
Yeah, why why are we rated? Ar?

Speaker 1 (34:50):
There's no blood and guts, there's no nudity. It's just
because of the concept. Basically, it's you know, psychological and
creeping scared and there's maybe a little bit of gore
and cursing.

Speaker 2 (35:03):
That's it.

Speaker 1 (35:04):
Okay, Yeah, that's it.

Speaker 2 (35:05):
I can't understand if she was like, no, the nudity, Yeah,
I mean it's quirkies. No, I mean, I mean fourteen,
I went to the theaters with some buddies. We saw
America Pie two. Oh, it's great life. One of my
favorite movies ever seen.

Speaker 1 (35:17):
In my life. Strong sexual content in that.

Speaker 5 (35:21):
Better than the first one, and the language.

Speaker 2 (35:24):
What was crazy about it? I don't think this is
that no at all. There's no like lesbian scene with
Stiffler a gym, which is a bummer. I'll tell you
what he's missing out. Yeah he needs to see that.

Speaker 1 (35:36):
Okay, but I show Walker that movie Begga.

Speaker 2 (35:39):
Pie two h definitely not tell my wife next year. Yeah, exactly. Yeah,
we have to watch the first one first. Yeah, obviously
he's so lost.

Speaker 1 (35:51):
Dad, who's Shannon Elizabeth? Yeah, and so I looked into it.

Speaker 5 (35:56):
Yeah, I see this.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
It's a little creepy.

Speaker 5 (35:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (35:58):
But I'm also like I sat him down. I said,
you know what this is about? Oh yeah, he broke
it down for you, watched the YouTube thing, and so
he knows what it's about. All him and all of
his group of friends are hype to see this movie.
And so I'm like, huh, all right, well I don't
really see that big of a harm in this. I go,

(36:21):
you know, do you you do understand? You know that
this is kind of creepy and psychological and you know
you may get it like nightmares or something by this.
Are you you understand that? Oh yeah, I'll be fine, Dad,
I know it's not that big of a deal whatever.
All right, let me let me talk to your mom
about it.

Speaker 3 (36:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (36:37):
So I go bring it up to Deborah and she's like,
it's rated R And I go, yeah, I get, I
understand that, I understand the concept or whatever.

Speaker 2 (36:46):
Like she's looking at you like you're insane, Like.

Speaker 1 (36:48):
This isn't even a question, like like we're not buying
him a gun, I might as well, we're going to
lean down to a path, you know, like criminal behavior.

Speaker 2 (36:59):
Because buying booze for the movie, why pretty much?

Speaker 1 (37:03):
Yeah, I don't understand. Uh so I go listen. I
watched the trailer. Yeah, I understand, you know that it's
rated R. But I really don't see the harm in
letting him see this movie. If there was a bunch
of stuff in there that it was like not good
for him, yeah, okay, I get it, But I don't.

Speaker 2 (37:20):
Think is that bad? Anything was that bad? He's watching Euphoria, right,
you know, yeah, maybe in a couple of years.

Speaker 1 (37:31):
Oh yeah, for sure, I definitely will. But yeah I didn't.
But she was. She's ten toes down.

Speaker 5 (37:39):
She's not budgeting.

Speaker 2 (37:40):
She will not budge.

Speaker 1 (37:42):
I mean, I'm trying to convince her to let him
go see it, but she's pretty staunch and like they're
they're not seeing rated R movies.

Speaker 2 (37:50):
That stinks because then all of his buddies see it
and he's not gonna see it, and then then you know,
then the joking starts.

Speaker 5 (37:59):
Probably make something up.

Speaker 2 (38:04):
You gotta tell, you gotta get in there, and you
gotta tell devor listen, he's not a boy. Yeah, he's
not gonna be.

Speaker 1 (38:11):
What I try to tell her in this kind of backfired,
is you know Emily took Read to go see Jackass
in the drive in that.

Speaker 2 (38:24):
Like three years ago, and when we was when we
was Jack Sage.

Speaker 5 (38:28):
Yeah, yeah, he was Jack Sage when.

Speaker 2 (38:31):
I see that, and that was fine.

Speaker 5 (38:35):
So that's a little bit that's a little extreme, and
I don't in hindsight, that probably wasn't the right decision
because Godzilla, there's you know, it's it's private part. There's
an explosion of fluid the city. That's how they kick
it off.

Speaker 2 (38:53):
That I said, though, I feel like we all like
we all watched Jackass from jack We saw it in
the theater. We did well.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
I was grown and Emily I saw ye.

Speaker 2 (39:04):
I was like thirteen when that was out, twelve thirteen, fourteen. Yeah,
I don't know, you think that was a good idea? Yeah,
it's Jackass, Yeah, you know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (39:14):
And it was read fine after that, I don't know.
I mean, I think he's always been a goofy kid
that makes some racy jokes.

Speaker 1 (39:20):
But was he you know, driving his bike into a
brick wall.

Speaker 2 (39:24):
He wasn't.

Speaker 5 (39:25):
Wasn't he made it through.

Speaker 4 (39:26):
He didn't.

Speaker 5 (39:27):
He didn't try to mimic all of those scenes, thank god.

Speaker 2 (39:30):
Ok, I think he already did half of them. Yeah,
probably probably What is Deborah think's going to happen if
he sees it?

Speaker 1 (39:36):
That's what she's worried that the psychological things go like scarb.

Speaker 5 (39:40):
Yeah, he's too young, like mess him up?

Speaker 4 (39:42):
Yeah, but is he a kid because I've never heard
you talk about like him having nightmares or being too
scared to do this or too scared to do that.
Because if he was one of those kids, I could
tell see what Deborah was saying, you know what I mean.
But if it's just because it has that letter next

(40:02):
to it and that's the only scary, it's scary. Yeah,
I get that it's scary. And see you no because
you know no. I well, I'd let her go see
an R rated movie, but not this one because she
is I love her to death, but she is a
scaredy cat kid, you know.

Speaker 5 (40:18):
What I mean?

Speaker 1 (40:19):
Oh my girl, what's the line for you?

Speaker 2 (40:22):
Like? What is it? Nudity? Is it?

Speaker 1 (40:24):
Gore?

Speaker 2 (40:24):
Is it?

Speaker 4 (40:25):
Nudity is not a problem. Sex is not a problem. Yeah,
I mean, she's she's sixteen years old.

Speaker 2 (40:36):
What does that mean?

Speaker 4 (40:37):
I like, she, well, she knows people who had sex,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (40:43):
Like she came from people who had sex.

Speaker 4 (40:45):
That is true, But I mean she knows people her
own age.

Speaker 1 (40:48):
You have had whoa.

Speaker 4 (40:50):
So it's like that's that's real life, you know, and
you know me in my house, it's like, you know,
we shouldn't be ashamed of our bodies, blah blah blah
that stuff. But I know her and her being sensitive,
I know she will have nightmares if she saw something
like this. She could potentially worry about people dying and
you know, getting upset about things like that. And I'm like,

(41:12):
I don't yeah, yeah, I don't know what's going on
in those dimensions. So so for her a horror movie, no,
but like uh, comedy, brom com dirty comedy, I'd be okay, yeah,
if she wanted to. I don't know if that's her
type of humor.

Speaker 5 (41:29):
I don't think. I don't think she'd enjoy it.

Speaker 1 (41:32):
That's crazy.

Speaker 4 (41:35):
But yeah, so that's that's for me. It's like if
she if Debra's just saying no because it's our and
the rule is you're too young, then oh yeah, that's
what it says.

Speaker 5 (41:49):
Seventeen. You can't go see it already.

Speaker 4 (41:50):
Movies, so discussion is still on going.

Speaker 1 (41:58):
Uh and so you watched like Major League when you
were like five, Yeah, so you watched our rated movies.

Speaker 2 (42:04):
I never even think about the rat rating. Really, I
never even crosses my mind. Yeah, I for some reason
I thought that, like, especially in this day and age
with streaming, when movies come out, I don't even like
on your stream on your streaming. Yeah, I didn't even
know that.

Speaker 5 (42:23):
But I've never really looked at that either, like when
it's like but no, but I'll like know what the
things about, like I don't know the rating, and I'll like.

Speaker 2 (42:30):
Let read watch. No, I'm sure like Haley's, my wife
doesn't want me to like let him watch certain things.
But so he won't, but he will.

Speaker 4 (42:41):
Ways, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (42:43):
I watched the Attitude of Wrestling grown Up when I
was like ten eleven years old, so like I've heard
some of those women around barking like dogs. Yeah, it
was crazy. It was crazy, grown man Vince McMahon taking
his pants down and grown men kissing his ass?

Speaker 1 (42:56):
How many lingerie matches did you watch?

Speaker 2 (42:58):
Okay, so my side won't watch them.

Speaker 1 (43:03):
You got something. Yeah, we'll see what happens. But yeah,
this is a battle, and I don't know. I don't
know how far I want to take it. I don't
care that much. The Padres were going for the series
win against the Mets yesterday after finally won a game
on Saturday. You won a game on Saturday. So did

(43:25):
they pull it off? We'll tell you next to sports Jurn, Well,
maybe you were thinking, after the Padres finally got to
win on Saturday night, we're gonna start turning things around here.
You know. It was a nice, nice little dub. You're like, okay,
you know, here we go. Maybe it's gonna light a

(43:46):
little fire under them.

Speaker 2 (43:48):
Didn't that? Oh didn't.

Speaker 1 (43:50):
The Mets jumped out to a ford to nothing lead
before Freddy for Me finally hit his first home run
of the season to cut the lead to four to
two in the fifth, But then the Mets promptly added
two more solo home runs in the sixth to make
it six to two for Me and then doubled in
another run in the ninth. But that's too little, too late,

(44:12):
as the Mets won seven to three to take two
of three from the Padres. So not good, and the
news was even worse on Friday, as the team announced
they placed my boys Ramon Loreano on the sixty day
IL because basically ending his season. He had to have

(44:32):
hip surgery and so he's done for the year right there.
There's a possibility if they make the postseason that he
could come back, but.

Speaker 2 (44:42):
It's brutal. Absolutely, Why Steve Buster only oil there in
their weekend say the Padres could be a team to
look out for it for Tebrick Scougel. Now they're not
hitting anymore, so they may have to pivot to a hitter.
But I don't even know if they're going to be
do any of the trade deadline this point, they've lost
eleven of thirteen. Yeah, it's garbage. I mean, everyone want

(45:03):
to talk about Manny and he's terrible right now. And
what bothers me the most is I was watching the
Dodgers and the Angels and show Hal Tani, who is
the best player in baseball? Yeah, one of the greatest
of all time. He hits a grounder a second and
beats it out. If that same play happened to Manny Machado,
and I know this is Manny's thing, he would just
drop the first base Friday night happened in one soda,

(45:24):
same thing. He would just troped the first If if
Shoe hal Tani could could run hard, then everyone in
the Major League Baseball should be running hard. And I'm like,
if you're batt in one sixty five, you need to
stop crying about analytics to in the post in the
postgame press conferences. Put the team on your back, be
a leader and start being a leader and running balls

(45:45):
out and like, because he's because he's not that right now,
it's awful, man, I mean, and then sorry, Eddie Jackson Merrill,
I mean, my god, he's gotten two oz two Hey,
maybe worse than Manny at the plate right now because
he only has six homers. Manny has thirteen homers. But sorry, y, yeah,
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (46:01):
It's it's crazy to think if we you know, you
just kind of thought, oh, it's a slow start for Manny.

Speaker 2 (46:08):
It's June. Yeah, if we.

Speaker 1 (46:11):
Finished the year and he doesn't bet two hundred, you
gotta think he's good about over. I would say, me,
think about that. That's it's it's unheard of. It's unheard of.

Speaker 2 (46:21):
I don't know. On the other hand, though, I know,
Tatis only has one homer, but and he's back in
like two seventy five and he had it. Sucks because
if he had ten homers, he'd be an all start. Yeah,
he'd have he probably have thirty RBIs, he'd be back
close to three hundred, he'd have almost twenty. He'd have
almost like fifty ten or eleven home rounds. It's just
it was this weird thing because he had a good
double yesterday and that was base running.

Speaker 1 (46:42):
His Yeah, well, all of the the entire teams basically,
I don't know what we're doing. I gotta get in there,
do Wow.

Speaker 2 (46:48):
But what would you say if you had Todd Francs up,
You're down to who get in there? Ty Frantz is up?
N Tatis seconds all one and he just randomly steals
third for no reason gets thrown out. What would you
say to your player.

Speaker 1 (47:09):
We need base runners right now. What's what's stealing third
gonna do? Especially when you're gonna do you're gonna score
on a base hit?

Speaker 2 (47:16):
What are you doing? What are you doing? Head in
the game?

Speaker 1 (47:19):
Focus? Yeah, it's frustrating, really frustrating.

Speaker 2 (47:24):
Watch right now.

Speaker 1 (47:25):
Uh, there were a couple of international friendly World Cup
warm up matches that went down at snap Dragon over
the weekend. Saturday night, Australia and Switzerland played to a
one to one draw, and then yesterday Colombia took down
Jordan to oh to nil.

Speaker 2 (47:44):
Gue.

Speaker 1 (47:44):
World Cup starts this week. Wow, hot, damn, this is
Jamie pump is Columbia one.

Speaker 2 (47:52):
I think Jamie.

Speaker 5 (47:54):
I thought he's Cuban, Columbia thought it was Mexican.

Speaker 1 (48:00):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (48:03):
Oh, he's wearing the Cuban flag. The Cuban flag.

Speaker 5 (48:06):
Oh no, he's saying, I don't know what he is.

Speaker 2 (48:10):
I don't know what he is. I uh not looking
forward to this. I've been watching Master Chef and every
episode has to do with the World Cup.

Speaker 5 (48:17):
For some reason, they like tie ins in the show.

Speaker 2 (48:22):
Yeah, every episode, it's every episode. It's a giant infomercial. Yeah,
always an.

Speaker 5 (48:28):
I don't think you guys will pick up on it.

Speaker 2 (48:30):
Yes, it's a month long. It's going to be hell
for me.

Speaker 1 (48:32):
Get ready, it's gonna be health get ready.

Speaker 2 (48:36):
Luckily, Luckily, I'm walking. Luckily, I'm locked into the Knicks
right now. Once that ends, you're locked into the World Cup.
Now I'm gonna be I'm gonna be taking a break
from everything sport twice. It's a football start.

Speaker 1 (48:51):
Game three of the NBA Finals is tonight at the
Mecca Dude Madison Square.

Speaker 2 (48:58):
Have you guys, Did you guys catch any of the
videos on Friday night after they beat the Spurs? How
insane New York is right now?

Speaker 4 (49:05):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (49:05):
Yeah, it's crazy. Thousands of people at watch parties, people
going crazy. There's like there was a rapper who broke
out into a concert on the middle of Seventh Avenue,
Like it's crazy. Like New York City is gonna be insane. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (49:18):
Well, the Knicks hold a two to o lead going
into tonight. Now President Trump is gonna be in attendance
now because of that, there is going to be a
watch party outside of the Garden, which is awesome, but
now it can't happen because Secret Service is shutting it down,
which sucks and saying sorry, you can't do it.

Speaker 2 (49:37):
There's there's one, I know, there's one in Central Park
where a couple thousand people, and there's one a Brian
Park with like five thousand people, which is cool. But
the one outside the Garden was awesome because it was
literally right outside of the garden. On the giant screen. Thousands
of people there because you can't get into the game
tickets to like ten thousand dollars. It sucks, so all
the real fans aren't getting into the game. Timmy's gonna
be there, okay, Timmy Instiller, Fat Joe and Spike Lear

(50:02):
leading are leading away. Okay, got it? What a crew
four horsemen? Did you? Guys? You know how when a
guy shoots a free throw, you like wave your arms
in the air. Fat Joe was one of those guys
in the first game, And because skinny arms in there
so funny. Well, good luck tonight. There you go.

Speaker 1 (50:22):
That is sports. Start sports today.

Speaker 2 (50:25):
Emily.

Speaker 1 (50:26):
Let's pretend for a second you were single and you
were going out on a date. The guy lives in Carlsbad.
You're making that drive? What are you throwing?

Speaker 5 (50:37):
Never did anybody super cute?

Speaker 2 (50:39):
Super cute? No?

Speaker 1 (50:40):
Oh okay, Well, we're going to see how far people
would travel for a date coming up next on the
show A five three. So I was mentioning going into
that song right there, Emily. Emily is not a big traveler.
She doesn't like to drive far.

Speaker 5 (50:56):
I'm not a car check.

Speaker 1 (50:57):
No, if it's around her place she'll go do it,
But I mean you gotta go anywhere outside of her vicinity.

Speaker 2 (51:05):
It's not easy. Is like le Mesa to Point Loma.
That's it, that's it. Yeah, that's the eight.

Speaker 5 (51:14):
For some reason, it's the same distance, let's say, to
go to like La Joya. But that makes it seem
like it's an Egypt.

Speaker 2 (51:19):
Yeah. Like she doesn't go south either, No Ivy.

Speaker 4 (51:25):
Nor downtown downtown where she lives.

Speaker 8 (51:28):
Yeah, the eighth a big eight freeways, but that's it
between eight o five.

Speaker 2 (51:37):
No chance? Like do you feel like you're in another
country when you get past Governor on the five?

Speaker 5 (51:41):
Yes? Get lost?

Speaker 2 (51:44):
Lose the fair grounds.

Speaker 5 (51:46):
I do know how to get to the fair but
in all honesty, del Mar is my cutoff, Like the
fair grounds is my cutoff. Like that's when I start going,
oh my god, we're really going out there like del Mar's,
but like going out like past Delmar no chance.

Speaker 2 (52:01):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (52:02):
I remember I dated a guy once many years ago
when he lived in Carmel Valley and that was like.

Speaker 2 (52:07):
Crazy, hell on Earth, it really was.

Speaker 5 (52:10):
It really was nothing.

Speaker 1 (52:15):
But yeah that's Emily, you know. And so if you
were somehow single and a really nice guy asked you out,
and then you find out he lives in Vista.

Speaker 5 (52:25):
Oh, nothing's wrong with Vista, but that would probably be
a deal breaker.

Speaker 1 (52:32):
Really, honestly, he's got everything you want.

Speaker 2 (52:34):
It's too far. It's just way too far now if
you lived. But if you lived in Vista and he
lived in Le Mesa, you'd say the same thing. That's correct,
because against Vista it's.

Speaker 5 (52:43):
Just no, no, absolutely not.

Speaker 1 (52:46):
So what's the cutoff that you would travel to go out.

Speaker 2 (52:51):
On a date.

Speaker 5 (52:52):
So, like, let's say he like he wanted to invite
me to dinner at Carlsbat Like you're saying.

Speaker 2 (52:56):
How about this? He did?

Speaker 1 (52:57):
He lives wherever close close or to you, But he goes,
Oh I heard of this really awesome new restaurant that
opened in Carlsbad.

Speaker 2 (53:05):
We should go.

Speaker 5 (53:06):
You gotta pick me up.

Speaker 2 (53:07):
Well, no, meet you there.

Speaker 5 (53:08):
Oh it's just uh this a place called Curbside in
Le Masa.

Speaker 1 (53:12):
Okay, I know, I know you always want to go there.
I thought they would do something different.

Speaker 5 (53:19):
I don't know. I guess I guess i'd go. I
guess i'd go and see how it worked out.

Speaker 1 (53:25):
But you wouldn't date him if he lived.

Speaker 5 (53:28):
Probably probably not, Like, if he's that far, this is
really far. Ocean Sides really fine.

Speaker 2 (53:34):
Forty five minutes too much.

Speaker 5 (53:36):
That's a long way.

Speaker 4 (53:37):
Like if you're a Tinder and you have to set
your geographical filter, you're not putting North County in there
as even not at all.

Speaker 5 (53:44):
But like if he was amazing and we really hit
it off, maybe the conversation would be out date him.
A couple of times in the conversation would be like
are you ever planning? Are you set on living up there?
You ever plan on moving?

Speaker 2 (53:54):
Like they can move down like like like the guy
lives in Sacramented I know, yeah, average job.

Speaker 5 (54:00):
I mean it's basically wow, And we wanted to move
in together. I'm not going to move into your house
in Ocean Side, Like yeah, but I don't think he
wants to live in your house in Lemon Grow. I
mean I don't live. There's nothing wrong with them, I
actually don't.

Speaker 2 (54:20):
You can always come into like a compromise, compromise between there's.

Speaker 5 (54:23):
That and you could do that.

Speaker 2 (54:27):
Yeah, I guess we would come Yeah, I dated a
girl that lived in Ocean Side, but I lived here.
How'd that go? It worked out? Yeah? We we we
dated for like two years, and she eventually moved down
to this area because she but we dated for like
two years. For the first year we dated, she lived
in Ocean side.

Speaker 5 (54:47):
So you're constantly driving up there.

Speaker 2 (54:48):
No, I mean every once in a while, and then.

Speaker 5 (54:51):
She comes down here.

Speaker 2 (54:52):
She would come down here and she spend the night,
and then, like I'd see her a couple of times
a week. I don't need to see her every I
didn't need to see her every day at first, you know.

Speaker 4 (55:00):
I mean, yeah, I lived in Escondo and worked here,
so I would drive here.

Speaker 5 (55:05):
It would did you have to bring your passport?

Speaker 2 (55:06):
Would be a helicopter.

Speaker 4 (55:08):
Yeah, yeah, it was intense.

Speaker 1 (55:11):
When I first started dating Debora, I lived in La Joya,
the UTC area, not your Laoya s guy. It was
the day on the other side of the Yeah, sorry,
I know, is it Loya.

Speaker 2 (55:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (55:22):
I lived in UTC and Devora lived over here sort
of Mission Valley ish ever area, And so, I mean
it was a good almost thirty minutes.

Speaker 5 (55:29):
You know, especially there's any traffic.

Speaker 2 (55:32):
Yeah, fifty two, yeah, fifty two the freeways. Okay, I know,
I didn't know. I don't know if you knew this,
And so I was a little bit of paying the
ass for a little bit, you know, travel back and forth. Yeah,
you know, but I mean it's fine. It always comes
down to how hot they are.

Speaker 7 (55:45):
For me.

Speaker 2 (55:46):
Wait, if you're really hot, I'll do whatever I gotta
do to see you. Travel for my wife, my wife
we lived in nor Cow and she would come down
to see your aunt. And we did that until she
eventually moved for work. But I mean we did that
for a long time. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (56:06):
So they ask people how far are you willing to
travel for a date?

Speaker 8 (56:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (56:11):
They survey thousands of US adults who are currently on
the dating scene, and they found that the cutoff point
is thirty minutes of a drive, with sixty one percent
of the group saying yeah, if it's further than thirty minutes,
I'm not.

Speaker 1 (56:27):
Asy for us San Diego, so spread out, Like if
you told me that the date was going and if
I live in Alcohol, if the dates in Powway, if
the dates in RB, if the date's you know, down
by the beach, it's a thirty minute drive for me.

Speaker 5 (56:42):
Yea, I don't care.

Speaker 2 (56:44):
Yeah, I'll beat you there.

Speaker 1 (56:45):
It's not that big of a deal for me, But
I mean it does hit different if it's you know,
forty five minutes, forty five minutes to me, that's my
cutoff for my forty five minutes.

Speaker 2 (56:57):
Like what I'm doing that?

Speaker 1 (56:58):
That's where you're thirty minutes. I could do that in
my yeah, almost fifteen minutes more forget.

Speaker 4 (57:05):
There's kind of two reasons according to the people who
did this, affordability gas being out of control. And then
also they say the app couri Okay, wait, what I
don't think? Oh, I don't think, yeah, don't think so okay, Really.

Speaker 2 (57:19):
I don't know. I'm trying to blame somebody, okay.

Speaker 4 (57:21):
And then the app culture they say, because they say,
you now have so many options that why would you
pick an option if you know it comes with a
thirty minute?

Speaker 2 (57:32):
What's up? One hundred mile radies? How hot it's it?
One hundred There's two things that go to LA. There's
two things that go into a dating app. How hot
they are? How long it's been since you got late? Oh,
because if it's been a minute. If it's been a minute,
I'll drive the riverside.

Speaker 1 (57:51):
What all right, We're about to play our version of
the Newlyway game. See how much do we know about
each other. It is the newly Showed game. When we
get back on the show at Rock with a five three.
All right, we are going to put our friendships to
the test here as we're gonna see how much do
we actually know about each other. It is time for

(58:12):
our version of the newly d game. It is time
four the newly Show Game. The teams this week are
going to be Me and Emily versus Sky and Thor. Okay,
so we'll see how this goes Today. Everybody seems like
they're okay with each other now right now, yes, but
we'll see how this plays out. So Me and Thor
are gonna go do these soundproof booth first. Jamie's gonna

(58:35):
ask you ladies the questions, and then we'll come back
in and try to match your answers.

Speaker 2 (58:39):
All right, good look, Emily, you'll be fine.

Speaker 5 (58:42):
Thank you for being so confident in me. Really appreciate that.

Speaker 4 (58:46):
Okay, thank you. I do got this. We're gonna do great. Thor, Yeah,
it always has this like negative sounds a little bit yeah,
like we got this. It never sounds like yeah, it's fun.
All right, And I'm gonna start with you.

Speaker 7 (59:01):
Who on the show does your partner think would make
the best lifeguard.

Speaker 5 (59:06):
Oh wow, who does Eddie think will be the best lifeguard?
Thor is not the best swimmer. I think it was
a while until he actually learned how to swim or
something like that. I think that was covered before I
even joined the show. But absolutely not Thor. He would
be looking at his phone, not paying attention me. I
would get excited to do it at first, sitting at

(59:26):
my stand, but then I could get over it, and
I'd see like a butterfly and then just run off
and forget about it. Sky loves to swim. You were
on the swim team.

Speaker 4 (59:35):
Thank you, Thank you for much.

Speaker 5 (59:36):
You also take jobs like this very seriously, so I
feel like you would be all in to sit up
in that stand and keep an eye on everybody. So
I'm gonna say, Eddie's gonna say Sky.

Speaker 7 (59:45):
All right, Sky, what about you on the show? Does
your partner think would make the best lifeguard?

Speaker 2 (59:51):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (59:51):
This is tough. Yeah, Emily's out no fence, say, I
think you're probably a great swimmer. But yeah, somebody offers
you a white club. There's a party going on on
a blanket over here. You're gone. Yeah, your eyes are
no longer on the audien.

Speaker 1 (01:00:09):
Eddie.

Speaker 4 (01:00:11):
He knows like CPR and all that kind of stuff,
so I feel that puts him in the running.

Speaker 5 (01:00:17):
By the way, I forgot to even think that Eddie
could pick himself.

Speaker 4 (01:00:25):
And with my recent health stuff, I mean, yes, I
normally love swimming, and I am a rule follower, and
I would be so excited to issue tickets. I don't
know if lifeguards get to issue people tickets, but I
would like to for drinking on the beach. I can't
do that. I can't.

Speaker 2 (01:00:40):
That's a police job, man.

Speaker 4 (01:00:42):
Okay, Well, because of my recent health stuff, which has
given me zero stamina, and the fact that Eddie's trained
in CPR and all those things, because of all his
you know, baseball stuff with the kids, I'm going to
say the answer is Eddie.

Speaker 3 (01:00:56):
All right, Edie.

Speaker 5 (01:00:58):
I hope he doesn't see him, so I'm totally speady out.

Speaker 7 (01:01:03):
Well, the first thing he's gonna say is that Sky
won't be able to carry a person.

Speaker 5 (01:01:06):
Exactly what he's gonna say, All right, guy.

Speaker 7 (01:01:09):
Second question for you, how often does your partner wash
their car once a week, once a month or very rarely?

Speaker 3 (01:01:19):
Huh?

Speaker 4 (01:01:19):
And does wash your car? Also mean like get your
car washed.

Speaker 3 (01:01:23):
Yeah, get the car.

Speaker 4 (01:01:24):
Washed, okay, because we're not saying that they have to
do it themselves. How often does store okay? And my
choice for once a week.

Speaker 2 (01:01:32):
Once a week, once a month, or very rarely.

Speaker 4 (01:01:35):
I'm gonna go once a month because we never hear
about it. But his car does look nice, so I'm
gonna say once a month.

Speaker 2 (01:01:42):
All right. Uh, Emily, what about you?

Speaker 7 (01:01:44):
How often does your partner wash their car once a week,
once a month, or very rarely.

Speaker 5 (01:01:49):
It's definitely not once a week. I think Eddie likes
to do it once a month. I think he usually
does it once a month. This is their times when
he sometimes gets busy and doesn't do it for maybe
a month and a half or so. Yes, but I'm
gonna sy he's going to say once a month.

Speaker 2 (01:02:01):
All right.

Speaker 7 (01:02:02):
Final question, Emily, who on the show do you think
would be the first to apologize after an argument with
another show member?

Speaker 5 (01:02:10):
Oh? Wow? I I will apologize pretty quickly after because
I get hot really quick and then I apologize fast.
Sky She's always right, She's not apologized to Guy's not
apologizing apologizing for Eddie will apologize, but I feel like
he's the least one that I have to need to apologize.

(01:02:34):
Thor will say sorry? It was who is the quickest
to apologize?

Speaker 2 (01:02:38):
Right?

Speaker 7 (01:02:39):
Who would be first to apologize after an argument with
another show member?

Speaker 5 (01:02:43):
I'm I feel like it's gonna be me because I'm
gonna feel really bad about it, and I'm gonna love
a text saying I'm sorry. All right, I'm gonna say.

Speaker 2 (01:02:49):
Me Sky, What about you?

Speaker 7 (01:02:50):
Who do you think on the show would be the
first to apologize after an argument with another show member?

Speaker 4 (01:02:55):
This was really tough because I agree with what Emily said.
She is pretty fast to apologize. I also agree that
it's not gonna be me because whether I believe I'm
right or the fact that I just want the conflict
to go away and to pretend like it never happens.
So I'm way out of the running. Eddie, I don't know.

(01:03:16):
Eddie kind of keeps it cool, like he's not in
very many arguments, But based on my experience, I get
into the most arguments with Thor, and honestly, he's pretty
fast to apologize. Now, I don't know if it's faster
than Emily because Emily and I don't really get into
any arguments so I haven't experienced it, but THORA and

(01:03:38):
I have had a one or two that's gotten hot
before it's gotten hot, and like literally sometimes it'll like
it'll happen at eight am, like right now, and then
at the end of the show he'll be like, Sky,
I'm sorry, I lost my cool. I shouldn't have done that.
So I'm gonna go with Thor.

Speaker 1 (01:03:55):
All right, Oh no, we're in the sound up with you.
We couldn't hear anything, so we'll now try to match
your answers.

Speaker 2 (01:04:07):
I can't.

Speaker 1 (01:04:09):
It's filled with.

Speaker 7 (01:04:13):
After this week, all right, Eddie, I'm going to start
with you. Who on the show do you.

Speaker 3 (01:04:20):
Think would make the best lifeguard?

Speaker 1 (01:04:22):
Lifeguard?

Speaker 3 (01:04:23):
Lifeguard?

Speaker 1 (01:04:24):
Oh god, I wouldn't trust any of you guys. Sorry,
here's the thing, Emily would have no idea because I
don't think I've ever brought this up before. But I
was in the junior lifeguard program when I was a kid,
so I learned how to do like CPR and swim
all these crazy things and you know, all that stuff.
So I did that for quite a while. So I

(01:04:46):
was actually pretty decent lifeguard back in the day. But
I've never brought that up before, and she I would
have no idea, so I don't even think I'm in
the conversation. Sky swims laps in her pool about it.
We get to the ocean, we're all dead. He's two feeble.
He's two feeble that could to pull us out of
there any current, yes, or can't really swim. He's not

(01:05:11):
the best swimmer. Bare they go past my knees, so
he is no chance. So because Emily probably grew up
the most around the beach and the ocean and things
like that, I'm gonna say.

Speaker 3 (01:05:22):
Her Emily went with Sky.

Speaker 5 (01:05:27):
I feel she's gonna take it the most seriously.

Speaker 1 (01:05:29):
She can't get it to anybody.

Speaker 5 (01:05:32):
I just thought about taking it seriously, and I was
thinking of pool to sitting up there. I don't know.
I'm not gonna pay attention. I'm gonna do it for
ten minutes and then get sidetracked and forget about.

Speaker 2 (01:05:42):
But you know you'd be horrible.

Speaker 5 (01:05:44):
I think Sky was the worst choice and take it
so seriously.

Speaker 1 (01:05:48):
Okay, but then then what she gonna get.

Speaker 5 (01:05:51):
She gonna get to get back up, so.

Speaker 1 (01:05:54):
She's not actually doing any like she could.

Speaker 2 (01:05:57):
And then another she's a watchdog. Yeah, okay, well that's
not a thing.

Speaker 5 (01:06:01):
She's take.

Speaker 7 (01:06:04):
All right?

Speaker 2 (01:06:05):
Thor what about you?

Speaker 3 (01:06:06):
Who on the show do you think would make the
best lifeguard?

Speaker 2 (01:06:08):
I mean they were. I didn't know Eddie was junior
lifeguard because I was. Because he never goes to the beach,
so that's why I would eliminate him. He doesn't go
to the beach. Was the last time went to the
beach Eddie?

Speaker 1 (01:06:19):
Hmmm? Probably the last time I was in Hawaii.

Speaker 2 (01:06:24):
My wife just fell over miss beach. Yeah. I go
to the beach from time to time, but I don't
really go in the water past your knees. I do
sometimes now if my wife is there, she'll safe. But
though I almost did drowned in Hawaii. That was crazy,
so I stood up the sky does swim. But again,

(01:06:46):
if there's a current of any sort, there's no way.
She's in Puerto Rico. Now she's gonna be so out
to see, so just unprocessable. And Emily's got just gying
hands and feet are like flippers. He's like, she's like
me going through the water.

Speaker 7 (01:07:10):
This guy did not go with Emily, She said, Eddie
to the beach.

Speaker 4 (01:07:15):
But he has a pool. He's a good swimmer, and
he knows all the life saving CB.

Speaker 2 (01:07:20):
The pool isn't like swimming in the ocean. Yeah, but her.

Speaker 4 (01:07:25):
Because of he has to do the training every year
for for base.

Speaker 5 (01:07:30):
How far is gilbroy Did you where you grew up
to do the junior lifeguards pool?

Speaker 2 (01:07:35):
Yeah? We did. My prerequisite is going to the beach.
Like if you don't go to the beach.

Speaker 4 (01:07:42):
I figure you CPR is a prerequisite based on the beach,
based on the choices of people in this room. So
that's why I.

Speaker 1 (01:07:49):
Thought, Eddie, listen, we all suck. That's all I have
to say.

Speaker 3 (01:07:55):
All right, Eddie, I am gonna.

Speaker 2 (01:07:59):
Sorry, all right, tested in your Jamie, don't mess with us.
Four Okay?

Speaker 7 (01:08:06):
How often do you wash your car once a week,
once a month, or very rarely?

Speaker 2 (01:08:14):
Just a great question. Not once a week, I would
say once a month. I guess washed.

Speaker 3 (01:08:21):
Sky went with once a month?

Speaker 2 (01:08:24):
My girl back in now because.

Speaker 7 (01:08:31):
Okay, Eddie, how about you? How often do you wash
your car once a week, once a month, or very rarely?

Speaker 1 (01:08:36):
This sucks because I'm in between. I go like every
other week to wash my truck. I'm not a once
a week guy. I'm not a once a month guy.
So I'm like right in between. But what is Emily
gonna say?

Speaker 2 (01:08:50):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:08:51):
I would probably lean more toward once a month than
I once a week, So I'm gonna go once a month.

Speaker 3 (01:08:58):
Emily went with one some month.

Speaker 5 (01:09:00):
Yea a girl, a girl busy with baseball.

Speaker 2 (01:09:04):
Man, But.

Speaker 1 (01:09:11):
Try it off. It's a lot of yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:09:16):
Guys, just drive away.

Speaker 1 (01:09:18):
Yeah hell yeah, get out of here.

Speaker 2 (01:09:20):
M I try to drive away and get get on
the freeway as fast as I can.

Speaker 5 (01:09:24):
You don't dry with close afterwards your nuts.

Speaker 3 (01:09:27):
You can get spots on your windows.

Speaker 2 (01:09:30):
Do a better job.

Speaker 5 (01:09:31):
I'm with you.

Speaker 2 (01:09:34):
The last question for you, Eddie who?

Speaker 7 (01:09:35):
I asked Emily who on the show does she think
would be first to apologize after an argument with another
show member?

Speaker 2 (01:09:42):
Who did you?

Speaker 1 (01:09:43):
Oh god, oh no, this is a terrible question. This
is weird because Sky doesn't really get into arguments with anybody,
so and she doesn't ever think she's wrong, so why
would she apologize? So I'm going to eliminate her. If

(01:10:06):
Thor gets into an argument, he erupts, but then quickly
comes back down to earth and would apologize. Um, Emily
doesn't get into too many confrontations. I don't think it
would be her. Yeah that it always gets weird.

Speaker 2 (01:10:29):
Weirdly enough.

Speaker 1 (01:10:30):
I don't missess Emily saying this weirdly enough. I would
think it was Thor. He gets in the most arguments,
so he has to apologize, So I think it's Thor.

Speaker 3 (01:10:40):
Emily went with herself.

Speaker 5 (01:10:43):
I get really fire right off the bat, but I
do end up apologizing and feeling bad pretty quickly after,
and I would stew on things, so I would just
have to get the apology out there or else.

Speaker 1 (01:10:53):
You don't get in that many arguments, so I don't
think I can't. We're going to picture you doing that.

Speaker 5 (01:10:58):
And alright, Penthroe, Oh he's sad.

Speaker 2 (01:11:04):
Damn that side too doing good?

Speaker 7 (01:11:09):
Thor, you could take the lead with this one, I
asked Sky who who.

Speaker 2 (01:11:16):
You could take the lead with this one? I don't know.

Speaker 5 (01:11:20):
On Saturday one, Yeah it was twenty four.

Speaker 2 (01:11:26):
Yeah, wake up kid? All right?

Speaker 1 (01:11:28):
Thor?

Speaker 7 (01:11:29):
Who on the show does guy think would be the
first to apologize after an argument with another show member?

Speaker 2 (01:11:35):
Uh, Eddie's right. I argue all the time for a living,
but I always apologize if I if I go too much,
if I go too far, which.

Speaker 5 (01:11:46):
Is almost every time.

Speaker 2 (01:11:47):
I aid isn't gonna make arguments. Sky never says she's wrong,
but am. He will cry very quickly and then start
apologizing while she's crying, even though you're like, what are
you crying for? But I'm gonna say.

Speaker 3 (01:12:06):
Me, Skuy said you?

Speaker 7 (01:12:09):
Thor?

Speaker 6 (01:12:10):
Yes, oh yeah, hey.

Speaker 4 (01:12:14):
A couple of times he's apologized and I wasn't even mad.
I didn't even know he did anything wrong. He's like,
I went too far with that joke. I'm like, I
didn't even I didn't even know again which one?

Speaker 5 (01:12:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:12:24):
All right, well with that, Sky and Thor took the lead. Emily,
we gotta be better. After round one. Me and Emily
are down by one. We are have a whole nother
round to go. Emily, we got to make a little
comeback here.

Speaker 5 (01:12:37):
We got it, Eddie.

Speaker 2 (01:12:38):
Do we keep it cool? Okay?

Speaker 4 (01:12:41):
Oh oh keep it cool?

Speaker 2 (01:12:42):
You were believe probably? Okay?

Speaker 1 (01:12:46):
All right, So now the ladies are going to go
to these sound proof booth. Jamie is going to ask
me and throw the questions, and then you'll come back
in and try to match our answers. Right, all right,
come on, come on, dog, you let's go what all right?

Speaker 2 (01:12:59):
All right? This is I don't think this is gonna go.

Speaker 1 (01:13:02):
Well, I only had a rough weekend, so bad weekend
to have her as a partner. Whatever, here we go, Jamie.

Speaker 7 (01:13:08):
All right, Eddie, who on the show would you choose
to do a semi minor surgery on you with YouTube
instructing them along the way?

Speaker 1 (01:13:16):
Oh my god, well that's ridiculous, so oh god, definitely
not Emily. She is the person who can't handle pressure the.

Speaker 2 (01:13:30):
Least well, and she would stop halfway through done.

Speaker 1 (01:13:32):
Another good point where I'm like, I have an instrument
outside me.

Speaker 2 (01:13:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:13:36):
Yeah, I'm like why I kept it and I'm open? Yeah,
so that's bad. I has the shakes. Yeah, she has
the shakes. So I ain't letting her anywhere near me
with a scalpel. So by process of elimination, I would
have to let it be Thore And I don't know
that that's gonna go well either. He's not the handiest
guy in the world. But you got YouTube. I think

(01:13:57):
you can figure it out. It might take a really
long time, but I think you could do it. So
I would have to go without a doubt.

Speaker 3 (01:14:05):
All right, Thor what about you?

Speaker 7 (01:14:06):
Who on the show would you choose to do a
semi minor surgery on you with YouTube instructing them along
the way.

Speaker 2 (01:14:11):
You know, I was gonna say Sky until Eddie brought
up the shakes, because Sky watches everything on YouTube, her
and her husband. But the shakes are brutal. She gets, Yeah,
she gets the shakes, So I probably mean, Eddie, I can.

Speaker 1 (01:14:26):
Do this and my eyes closed. I don't even need you.
I don't even need YouTube. What do we got? What
am I doing? Open heart?

Speaker 3 (01:14:33):
I got you man.

Speaker 2 (01:14:37):
Stitches? Yeah, oh dude, you can stitch me up.

Speaker 1 (01:14:39):
I watched ramble Man done.

Speaker 3 (01:14:44):
Oh all right, thorm and stick with you.

Speaker 7 (01:14:47):
What would your partner say is their favorite summer activity
as a kid Running through the sprinklers, having backyard sleepovers,
chasing down the ice cream truck, or having a water
balloon fight.

Speaker 2 (01:14:57):
Man, Oh what a good time? What was Scott? I
wish it was like swimming in there for for all Sky,
so running through the sprinklers, ice cream man. I'm gonna
say Sky was a backyard sleepover chick just because of
slumber parties, because I really don't know. Yeah, that's a

(01:15:17):
tough one.

Speaker 3 (01:15:18):
Yeah, what about you, Eddie?

Speaker 7 (01:15:19):
What would your partner say is their favorite summer activity
as a kid, running through the sprinklers, having backyard sleepovers,
chasing down the ice cream truck, or having a water
balloon for you need to make an exception and put
beating trolls.

Speaker 1 (01:15:31):
At the opp I'm assuming this was younger Emily. I
don't know. I mean, we never really talked about anything
like this.

Speaker 2 (01:15:43):
Could she's ice cream man?

Speaker 1 (01:15:46):
I don't. I honestly don't know. I feel like she's
a sprinkler's girl, you know, yeah, before I actually hate sprinklers.

Speaker 2 (01:15:58):
Yeah, I didn't know that.

Speaker 1 (01:16:00):
Uh So I'm gonna go just on a whim and
say the sprinklers. I feel like that's an Emily move,
you know, like if she had a law right now,
she's still doing it.

Speaker 2 (01:16:13):
All right.

Speaker 7 (01:16:13):
Last question for you, Eddie, who on the show is
most likely to spend money on something ridiculous?

Speaker 2 (01:16:19):
Oh, that's the easiest question of all time. That's Emily.

Speaker 1 (01:16:22):
Emily is the most ridiculous spender of all time. Where
you just go, why did you buy that? And she
has no real reason, you know, and so it's it's Emily.

Speaker 2 (01:16:30):
That's easy, all right.

Speaker 7 (01:16:32):
Thor who on the show is most likely to spend
money on something ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (01:16:35):
Yeah, same, it's Emily. Yeah, because because she'll buy a
million different things every day for no reason.

Speaker 1 (01:16:41):
Yeah, she will do that too. All right, now we
are coming back and all right, ladies, bring it home.

Speaker 2 (01:16:48):
Oh yeah, we got this in the bag.

Speaker 5 (01:16:52):
Oh no, I don't like that, that pressure.

Speaker 2 (01:16:55):
We don't have this in the bag.

Speaker 5 (01:16:57):
I feel screwed.

Speaker 2 (01:16:59):
Yeah, I don't know what to say.

Speaker 4 (01:17:01):
What does she want to hear?

Speaker 2 (01:17:03):
I don't know. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:17:03):
Okay, all right, Emily, I'm gonna start with you.

Speaker 2 (01:17:05):
Oh.

Speaker 7 (01:17:06):
I asked Eddie who on the show would he choose
to do a semi minor surgery on him with YouTube
instructing them along the way.

Speaker 2 (01:17:13):
Who did he pick?

Speaker 5 (01:17:14):
Oh my gosh, oh, none of us. That's his worst nightmare. Probably.
I feel like Thor Thor would Thor maybe could do it,
but I don't really hear him doing too much stuff
where he looks at YouTube and follows along. Sky would
get too grossed out to see the blood and gore

(01:17:36):
of like cutting somebody open. I feel like I'm like crafty,
and I know that's not in arts and crafts, but
like I'm like I do intricate stuff, like I sew
with like, that's intricate stuff like I do beating, like
I cook like and I follow directions. I'm going to
be a nightmare and I'm going to be super anxiety ridden.
But I still think he would choose me.

Speaker 3 (01:17:58):
Eddie did not choose you would my last choice.

Speaker 1 (01:18:02):
Really, you panic, You're the worst at pressure, and you'd
quit halfway through.

Speaker 2 (01:18:07):
You would halfway through.

Speaker 5 (01:18:08):
You'd be like myself what I feel like, like when
I'm locked into something like a sewing project or like beating,
and you're gonna sew me up?

Speaker 2 (01:18:17):
Really a notorious for quitting things halfway through.

Speaker 5 (01:18:22):
Yeah, but if it was life or death, I wouldn't
quit halfway through.

Speaker 2 (01:18:25):
No chance you would.

Speaker 5 (01:18:27):
Who did he say?

Speaker 2 (01:18:27):
I feel Edi would.

Speaker 1 (01:18:28):
Bleed with Oh, I mean it's worst choices ever. I
don't know, but I mean no.

Speaker 5 (01:18:35):
Hand control, like the wrong artery, you'd be dead.

Speaker 6 (01:18:39):
What semi yeah, what are you doing here?

Speaker 5 (01:18:44):
It's a good point that decision.

Speaker 4 (01:18:47):
You'd be done so you no?

Speaker 7 (01:18:50):
No?

Speaker 4 (01:18:51):
Yes?

Speaker 7 (01:18:52):
Yes? I asked Thor who on the show would he
choose to do a semi minor surgery on him, with
YouTube instructing them along the way.

Speaker 2 (01:18:59):
Who did he pick?

Speaker 4 (01:19:00):
Yeah, I feel this is a no brainer. We all
know that someone gets the shakes a little bit and
I love it, and adrenaline makes it much worse.

Speaker 2 (01:19:14):
So I can't be in high pressure situation.

Speaker 4 (01:19:16):
Oh no, oh no, Like like my dad had the
same thing and literally his doctor told him, like, you
can't be in high pressure situations or you may just
fall over. Okay, maybe I'm the only one that finds
that funny because I suffer from it. But yeah, so yeah,
so I am out if I don't pass out. My
hands are so shaky, I'm doing nothing. I kind of

(01:19:38):
thought we'd all have the same thoughts about Emily. She
may quit halfway through.

Speaker 2 (01:19:45):
I would.

Speaker 4 (01:19:45):
Yeah, Eddie has said before he's actually fixed some electrical
stuff doing YouTube videos, which you know isn't surgery, but hey,
you can follow a video and fix something. So I
think is gonna go with Eddie?

Speaker 3 (01:20:03):
Or went with Eddie.

Speaker 2 (01:20:06):
I don't even need the YouTube instructions.

Speaker 1 (01:20:07):
Don't the.

Speaker 3 (01:20:11):
Reasoning behind it though?

Speaker 7 (01:20:13):
You said Eddie because he's done electrical stuff, and Emily
said herself because she does arts and crafts.

Speaker 4 (01:20:19):
Yes, yes, the logic the.

Speaker 2 (01:20:25):
Right guys.

Speaker 7 (01:20:26):
Sticking with you, what would you say was your favorite
summer activity as a kid, running through the sprinklers, having
a backyard sleepover, chasing down the ice cream truck, or
having a water balloon fight.

Speaker 4 (01:20:41):
Oh not the ice cream. My mom would let me
get anything good.

Speaker 2 (01:20:47):
Rocket pop Uh.

Speaker 4 (01:20:48):
No, water balloons. No, I'm going too aggressive. Sprinklers. I
was worried I'd hit my foot on it, But I
feel out of all the options. Did that hurts worried
about it?

Speaker 5 (01:21:02):
There are some.

Speaker 4 (01:21:03):
Injury rate You have eyes, I know, but you catch
a toe on that, bad boy, you could lose a nail.

Speaker 2 (01:21:09):
Okay, so sprinklers.

Speaker 7 (01:21:13):
Sprinklers, Yeah, all right. Thor said backyard sleepovers.

Speaker 1 (01:21:18):
You said you didn't want to do it because of
the foot. That's why we're all weird enough.

Speaker 4 (01:21:22):
I didn't even say that. That wasn't a thing, a
backyard sleepover. I like, that wasn't a thing in my world.
I mean, I guess I shouldn't have a pathetic life,
like we have sleepovers. But no, we're too scared to
sleep out in the backyard. Do I need to be
a abduct.

Speaker 1 (01:21:39):
In the fear of the backyard sleepover worse than the
fear of hitting your toe on a sprinkler?

Speaker 2 (01:21:44):
Oh okay, God, Emily, what about you?

Speaker 7 (01:21:48):
What was your favorite summer activity as a kid of
running through the sprinklers, having backyard sleepovers, chasing down the
ice cream truck, or having water balloon fights.

Speaker 5 (01:21:56):
But they all sound like fun.

Speaker 2 (01:21:57):
I said you could patrol eating trolls on there.

Speaker 5 (01:22:01):
I mean I didn't. I never beat trolls. People that
I knew did, and that was in high school. I would.
I always liked the idea of a backgyard sleepover, but like,
I never did it as a kid, not once. And
I always was too scared because I always think that
somebody's gonna come out of the bushes nowadays even and
come kill me. Yep, Oh my god. The backyards sounds
like so much fun, but I never did it. Water

(01:22:21):
balloon fight, I'd like it, but then I would get
mad when I got hit like the head with water balloon.
And then ice cream truck was fun. I'd love chasing
it down for the choco taco. That was my favorite.
But I loved sprinklers. That's fun. I still will if
there's a spring. We got one a couple of summers
ago and got a little when you put to the
hose and I would jump on it. Run around it,
stop it.

Speaker 3 (01:22:40):
Eddie went with running.

Speaker 2 (01:22:44):
I knew you still did it. I knew you still
do it.

Speaker 1 (01:22:47):
I will.

Speaker 4 (01:22:49):
Never never cross step on a bee.

Speaker 2 (01:22:55):
Okay, ouch, you are right.

Speaker 3 (01:22:57):
YEA last question for you, Emily.

Speaker 7 (01:23:00):
I asked Eddie who on the show is most likely
to spend money on something ridiculous?

Speaker 5 (01:23:06):
So, I mean, is that even a question though? Thor
that like he actually does end up spending some money
on some ridiculous stuff like his gold chain and they
got my.

Speaker 2 (01:23:16):
Wife bought it for me for my birth time. I
didn't spend money on that.

Speaker 5 (01:23:19):
I'm gonna go with me obviously.

Speaker 3 (01:23:22):
Eddie went with you.

Speaker 7 (01:23:23):
What I asked Thor who on the show is most
likely to spend some spend money on something ridiculous?

Speaker 3 (01:23:32):
Who did he say?

Speaker 7 (01:23:33):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (01:23:33):
I have to say a spray tail machine. I mean
I don't think, I don't think anything.

Speaker 3 (01:23:41):
With Emily.

Speaker 1 (01:23:43):
Well, Jimmie would have, you know, made that a little
bit more dramatic. That would have been really cool, but
he didn't. That was for the win. That was for
the win. Sky and Thor have beaten us by one. Congratulations.
I mean that's that. What do you want to participation? Ribbon?

Speaker 2 (01:23:59):
Like you don't you don't get sprinkle.

Speaker 1 (01:24:03):
We have heard Thor say before that you don't get
involved in stuff. You know, even if it's somebody close
to him. If you see something, he ain't saying something.

Speaker 4 (01:24:13):
He said, if he sees my husband out with another chick,
he wouldn't say something.

Speaker 2 (01:24:16):
To see something, don't say something that I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:24:19):
That's saeah.

Speaker 2 (01:24:21):
And here's why, because I've seen too many times where
you kill the messenger and you expect like if if
if Robert Emily's man, I saw him out with another
chick and I said something, and I pulled Emily aside
and I said, hey, I saw Robert out of another chick,

(01:24:42):
and then Robert has an explanation for it, even though
if it's a lie, and Emily believes him or wants
to believe him, then the messenger is the one that
has trying to break it. Also, I have Robert now
mad at me. It's just not worth it. Now. If
I blatantly see it, I'd probably going around with hey, dude,
I saw it, let's not do that again, like come on.

(01:25:04):
But if a woman, but if I saw multiple times
or like chill, yeah, hey, I would I would maybe
I would tell like, I don't know. I just know
I don't.

Speaker 1 (01:25:17):
He's not saying nothing. Now this is even another level
of getting involved, because there is a woman who wants
to know she should say something to a coworker.

Speaker 4 (01:25:27):
Yeah, she was scrolling on she's single and was scrolling
on a dating app and saw her coworker slash casual
friend hung out his friends a few times. Saw that
woman's husband and on the dating app. On the dating
app saying he's single, looking for nothing, ready to mingle,
look for nothing too serious. And she says she's even

(01:25:48):
hung out with them like socially. Again not best friends,
but like knows them, And so she doesn't know if
she should say something because she doesn't want to get
in the middle of the drama.

Speaker 2 (01:26:00):
I mean, don't you're barely friends with this chick. No,
don't say anything.

Speaker 4 (01:26:03):
But if it was her, if the roles were reversed,
she would want to love that chick to tell her.

Speaker 2 (01:26:07):
I love when chicks say that if the roads are reversed. Yeah,
let's say the roads are reversed and you're married and
you have two kids, and some person you're barely friends
but comes up to you and says Hey, I think
your husband's cheating on you.

Speaker 5 (01:26:17):
Now you have a receipt.

Speaker 4 (01:26:19):
Though on the ass if.

Speaker 2 (01:26:20):
I'm the husband, I go, that's not me. It's a
fake account. Somebody spammed me, somebody aied me. That happens
all the time. And now you're and then if you
choose to believe me, because you want to keep your
family together, you're now kind of annoyed at this employee
that you barely know. If you choose to believe me,
that's all I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (01:26:36):
Well, let's talk to the ladies, because it's a woman.
Would you be involved in this?

Speaker 4 (01:26:43):
I think I would say something. I think I would
if if I consider this person a friend, even as
a casual friend, if I've been out with them as
a couple, and like you said, that's the difference. I
didn't just see it with my eyes. I have the receipt.
I can show her like like alson.

Speaker 2 (01:26:58):
Now you're involved, but you have the receipt. But that
being said, I had a listener hit me up that
my wife was on an app remember what happened a
while ago? And it was and it was somebody using
her pictures Because on Instagram, you've had people on Facebook
use your pictures and say there's a sky. So like, again,
there's just such a loophole for the guy to get

(01:27:18):
out of having a receipt.

Speaker 1 (01:27:19):
Would you present it in a way of like, hey,
I think somebody stole your husband's identity.

Speaker 2 (01:27:24):
I don't know if you want to ask. Yeah, that's
better than doing what That's better than I still wouldn't
say anything because I think that's crazy.

Speaker 5 (01:27:32):
I don't think I was saying anything either, but I'm
showing everybody else to come over here.

Speaker 2 (01:27:39):
I'd be like, over here was doing Oh my god,
that's crazy.

Speaker 4 (01:27:44):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:27:45):
Do you guys always have to have ketch up with
your fries or is there a certain food that you
always need a sauce a dipping sauce with.

Speaker 2 (01:27:53):
Well, we're gonna see.

Speaker 1 (01:27:54):
What foods you always need a dipping sauce with when
we get back on the show five three. We know
that Thor is the biggest sauce guy on the planet.
Whatever he orders comes with some sort of you know,

(01:28:15):
dipping sauce or whatever. You won't just get one with Thor.
He'll have not one and then he uses all of
them at the same time.

Speaker 2 (01:28:26):
You can't leave one out.

Speaker 1 (01:28:27):
I ordered it's gonna hurt its feelings.

Speaker 2 (01:28:31):
I asked for extra so like I got to at
least use one of the one of all of them
so I don't look like an idiot to the waiter.
That's what they're concerned about. But like yesterday, you know
those Costco chicken chunks, you can get good protein. Had
that yesterday, And I had barbecue sauce, ketchup and Chipotle

(01:28:51):
not Chipotle, Chick fil A sauce, all three. And I
had the bottles, all three bottles next to me.

Speaker 1 (01:28:57):
But do you go one so you did ketchup? By
the way, what do you two? So you dip it
in the one and then take a bite or do
you dip it in all three?

Speaker 2 (01:29:08):
I don't know. Crazy, you're not mixing. We're not mixed.
Now towards the end when it gets when it's wild
out the like the barbecue sauce has touched the Chick
fil a sauce, so that I'm okay with that. But
that's at the end contaminated. Yeah, that's at the end.

Speaker 1 (01:29:23):
I'll never forget talking about it. Until we were going to
the airport somewhere and there's a there was a Fill's
Bar is the field still there. Barbecue the airport, I
don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:29:35):
I don't remember.

Speaker 5 (01:29:36):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:29:37):
Thor somehow got there before me, which I don't even
know who.

Speaker 2 (01:29:40):
I think you went home first and I went right.

Speaker 1 (01:29:42):
Because we were leaving. Yeah, we were leaving from from here. Yeah.
And we came strolling up upon a scene where Thor
had nahah, not two, not three, not four, not five.
The dude had like ten barbecue sauces sitting in front

(01:30:04):
of them.

Speaker 5 (01:30:04):
It was wild, man.

Speaker 1 (01:30:05):
Like if you only have like a like a small
half rack of ribs. And I was like, dude, what
are you doing.

Speaker 2 (01:30:11):
For the ribs and the fries at the time.

Speaker 1 (01:30:13):
That that makes it okay?

Speaker 2 (01:30:15):
Yeah, because I'm going because because they were smaller containers, okay,
they were normal A lot of napkins, remember.

Speaker 1 (01:30:21):
Due the amount of napkins you have.

Speaker 5 (01:30:23):
You couldn't even see his face because there was there.

Speaker 2 (01:30:26):
Was a lot of.

Speaker 1 (01:30:28):
Yeah, what is up with you and the sauces?

Speaker 2 (01:30:31):
Man. I don't want to I don't want to risk
being out because when you're because I know, but when
you're out and you have to sit there and wait
and you ask you to find the waiter and ask
for new more sauces and then they got to go
get the sauces. It takes forever my coat. So like,
we went to a place, a French place on Friday Saturday,

(01:30:54):
and I asked for extra sauce and it was great.
And the thing that we got already had sauce on it,
and I asked for extra on the side. Why do
you need so much sauce for it that dry? You
never know what's gonna happen, never know. I like the dip.
I like the aspect of it.

Speaker 1 (01:31:08):
Like like this with everything, syrupyrup.

Speaker 5 (01:31:12):
Could be considered a breakfast sauce.

Speaker 2 (01:31:13):
I guess syrup another level. That's a lot like he's
eating soup almost. It's weird syrup. When I have when
I say screw it and I get like pancakes and
I have legit syrup, it's like swimming. I will pour
it into my I love it. It's like, buddy, the elf,
give me this. It's too much.

Speaker 4 (01:31:30):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (01:31:32):
So is if there is one food out there that
you think and you go, no matter what, I gotta have.

Speaker 2 (01:31:39):
A sauce with that. Pancakes. I mean, if we're gonna
I guess that count. If that does that count? If
that doesn't count.

Speaker 1 (01:31:45):
If that doesn't count, what cycle path would eat pancakes dry?
A psychopath would he pancakes? Why would you ever? I
don't even know how that would.

Speaker 2 (01:31:55):
I can't.

Speaker 4 (01:31:57):
I mean there's plenty sweet.

Speaker 1 (01:32:00):
I mean.

Speaker 2 (01:32:02):
They're trying.

Speaker 4 (01:32:02):
I mean I could do a little drizzle, but it's
not necessary.

Speaker 2 (01:32:06):
How is the possible?

Speaker 4 (01:32:09):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (01:32:10):
Uh, that's so odd.

Speaker 4 (01:32:13):
Like we make pancakes quite a bit in my house,
and you know we'll hear the breakfast Sundays sundayday morning,
make the pancakes and shapes.

Speaker 1 (01:32:24):
Just a normal breakfast for every other person. Eggs and
bacon and pancakes is a normal breakfast, not for us.

Speaker 4 (01:32:32):
Shapes once a week. My daughter is the pancake artist
in our house, and you know, normally they're normally on
theme with whatever's going on.

Speaker 5 (01:32:41):
It's really good.

Speaker 4 (01:32:41):
You can layer them, make your faces pancakes this week,
that's probably probably next week, probably next week. But like
you know how much syrup thor brings in here, that's
how much we heat up for the entire family.

Speaker 2 (01:32:56):
People to me, way worse than me over syrapy. I've
overseyrup before, and when you over syrup, it's brutal, but
like not having any.

Speaker 1 (01:33:06):
I'd rather have more than less, just like dry syrups.

Speaker 2 (01:33:10):
Yes, syrup, that's so odd.

Speaker 1 (01:33:12):
I'm really surprised you didn't say wings because you gotta have.

Speaker 2 (01:33:18):
Out of a bitch. I was, well, I was gonna
say if I can't say pancake, I was gonna say fries,
because like I can't without dipping. Yeah, but you got me.
You got wings? Did you match it?

Speaker 7 (01:33:35):
Now?

Speaker 2 (01:33:35):
I only get buffalo wings, so I always have to
have blue cheese.

Speaker 1 (01:33:38):
Buffalo is the sauce. Yeah, and then another additional sauce
is ranch or whatever, blue chees, whatever you want.

Speaker 2 (01:33:45):
But if you get like I don't know, if you
get lemon pepper wings, that's not my thang.

Speaker 1 (01:33:48):
Look at this guy.

Speaker 2 (01:33:51):
No, I'll have one. I'll have one because I love chili.
I guess. Okay, but you're right.

Speaker 1 (01:34:02):
You got If I had buffalo wings and I don't
have ranch, no, thank.

Speaker 5 (01:34:08):
You, you're already covered.

Speaker 2 (01:34:09):
What's the point You've got to dip them in the ranch?

Speaker 1 (01:34:11):
Emily, it's better, But no, you can't.

Speaker 2 (01:34:16):
No, but I don't have it, don't. You don't even
know what you're talking about.

Speaker 5 (01:34:21):
I know, but I've had a wing before Buffalo.

Speaker 1 (01:34:25):
Is there a food out there that you have to
have a sauce for?

Speaker 5 (01:34:28):
I mean I was gonna say French fries. But the
thing is, though, if they're really if they're like mc
donald's French fries like I do, I could use ketchup
on it, but like they're so delicious by themselves, so
I don't have to have it or else I'm not
going to eat it. So I think I might say
chicken tendies like chicken strips, chicken fingers, like I have
to have ranch to do that.

Speaker 2 (01:34:45):
Yeah, can you say nuggets too? Right?

Speaker 7 (01:34:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (01:34:47):
Nuggies? Are they the same time?

Speaker 2 (01:34:49):
If I'm driving, I don't really use I'll just eat
them out of the bag with the.

Speaker 5 (01:34:52):
Sauce, raw dog them.

Speaker 2 (01:34:53):
You can't wait, No, I'm driving, I mean, yeah, I'm
road tripping.

Speaker 1 (01:35:00):
I would never order nuggets. I would have to death.

Speaker 2 (01:35:03):
I will a sauce, man, I know, but it depends.
If I'm getting Wendy's nugs, I don't need it. They're good.

Speaker 5 (01:35:11):
Okay, Wow, that was a shot.

Speaker 1 (01:35:16):
You're not a super big sauce person, but there's there
one you have to have sauce.

Speaker 4 (01:35:20):
Yeah, I was gonna say the same thing as Emily
Tend's nuggets, Like, if there's no sauce, I'm not even
going to order them.

Speaker 1 (01:35:26):
Like you got chicken tenders and had no ranch?

Speaker 4 (01:35:31):
Am I starving to death?

Speaker 2 (01:35:32):
Well?

Speaker 4 (01:35:34):
They're so dry. I like, I'd probably forced myself to
eat one because the rest is going to get thrown away.
But if I have some good ranch going on, and
when it comes to a nugget, specifically the McDonald's nuggets,
honey is where it's at for me, Like, oh, I'll
grub that whole thing. I'll want more, I'll want a
second order.

Speaker 2 (01:35:55):
What about our whole opinion? Poppers?

Speaker 4 (01:35:58):
That's very specific. I I was thinking about things that
I order it multi But yeah, you're right, a Hall
of Paeni popper without some ranch, Like, what are we doing?
You're not even living a lie.

Speaker 1 (01:36:11):
Now. You guys didn't consider this either. Sushi, oh sauce.

Speaker 5 (01:36:17):
I gotta have soy sauce.

Speaker 2 (01:36:18):
Yeah, I do soy sauce with sabby, I mix it,
yeah exactly so.

Speaker 1 (01:36:23):
But if you, I mean, could you eat just sushi
without dunking?

Speaker 5 (01:36:27):
Is I did that over the weekend?

Speaker 2 (01:36:29):
Really?

Speaker 4 (01:36:29):
That's why?

Speaker 5 (01:36:30):
Yeah, somebody bought a sushi platter to my friend's party
and they didn't have soy sauce out with it, so
it was like it was California year old too.

Speaker 2 (01:36:37):
So that basic.

Speaker 5 (01:36:38):
I don't like that, but it did it. It felt weird.

Speaker 2 (01:36:42):
That depends if there's a role that has like spicy
mao on it, then's something that's a sauce. Though, yeah,
it's not the end of the world, but like, yeah,
I wouldn't eat a sushi without. That'd be tough. If
you're bringing a sushi platter and you don't bring soy
sauce in with sabby, get the hell out of my life.

Speaker 5 (01:36:56):
I made a comment later and apparently it was in
a bad because she got it to go and in
the back of she didn't set up the soy sauce
in a little bowl, which I would have stop at the.

Speaker 2 (01:37:05):
Store and get a soy sauce.

Speaker 5 (01:37:08):
I agree with you.

Speaker 2 (01:37:09):
Oh my god, Like why you choked your party?

Speaker 5 (01:37:11):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (01:37:11):
Why should Well?

Speaker 1 (01:37:12):
They asked this question, what are the top foods people
have to have a sauce with?

Speaker 4 (01:37:18):
Yeah, and eighty percent of us say they are quote
sauce lovers like thor a wild term and keep in mind,
just like catch up. You know, other condiments are sauces.
So when people were asked what foods you have to
have sauce with? Number ten veggies, people say, if I
eat any sort of vegetable, it can't just be plain,

(01:37:40):
it has to have some sort of sauce.

Speaker 2 (01:37:42):
On if it has seasoning. I'm all right, yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:37:45):
Number nine sorry, thor pizza. People need a sauce with
their pizza.

Speaker 1 (01:37:49):
You're having an additional sauce that sounds like not like marinara,
I don't think so.

Speaker 2 (01:37:54):
If you're eating round table Domino's and you want like
a ranch on the side, all right, you're eating like
crappy pizza like that. Not that that's crappy pizza. But
if you're if you're going to a restaurant and they
don't have great pizza, all right, But if you're in
like New York at a good place and you ask
for a ranch, they'll punch in the face.

Speaker 4 (01:38:12):
Oh that seems aggressive. Coming in Number eight, a third
of people say they cannot have a Deli sandwich without
a sauce.

Speaker 1 (01:38:19):
So yeah, I mean, if you're talking like male mustard
or yeah, then that's fine.

Speaker 4 (01:38:26):
Half of people. Number seven nachos need a sauce on them,
so like hot sauce. There was a lot of mentions
of hot sauce.

Speaker 5 (01:38:37):
Cheese is spicy, that's weird.

Speaker 1 (01:38:40):
And number six the cheese is the sauce. Like Sky
putting this list out, Sky gets confused.

Speaker 4 (01:38:49):
Yeah, I don't know. I'm assuming there's a cheese sauce
on it, but then people also put hot sauce on it.

Speaker 2 (01:38:54):
I can I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:38:56):
But number six is tacos. We've heard about Thor's wife's
love of sauce. She'll drink them. Number five is cheeseburgers.
People have to have a condiment on the cheese burger.

Speaker 1 (01:39:06):
It's weird that we're rinking that. I know.

Speaker 4 (01:39:08):
I'm thinking of like dipping.

Speaker 1 (01:39:09):
Yeah, it should be things you have to dip in.

Speaker 4 (01:39:11):
Yeah. Number four goes to chicken wings.

Speaker 2 (01:39:14):
Number four, Oh, that's crazy, should be one.

Speaker 4 (01:39:16):
Number three is a hot dog. Again, I think we're
talking condiments. Two goes to Nugget slash Tends and the
number one thing is French fries.

Speaker 1 (01:39:26):
Okay, there you go. Uh. The big UFC event at
the White House is going down this weekend or is it.
We will see what is going on that may prevent
the fights from happening next to sports dirt. I would

(01:39:48):
like the Padres to win games. Oh, I like to
win like nine in a row.

Speaker 5 (01:39:56):
Me too, Me too.

Speaker 2 (01:39:59):
I'd be happy with like nine nine in a row.
Can we do that? Oh, you're right, you're right.

Speaker 1 (01:40:06):
Sorry, she's right, she's right, because that hasn't happened in
a while. I forgot what winning was like until Saturday night.
They actually won. They beat the Mets.

Speaker 2 (01:40:15):
They suck and oh that's strong? Is that right? Now?

Speaker 1 (01:40:20):
They do?

Speaker 4 (01:40:20):
So?

Speaker 2 (01:40:21):
They sorry?

Speaker 1 (01:40:28):
And so yesterday could actually win the series with a
win that didn't happen. The Mets jumped out to a
four to zero lead before Freddy for Me finally hit
his first home run of the season to cut the
lead to four to two in the fifth. Mets then
came up and promptly added two solo home runs to
the sixth to make it six to two for Me,

(01:40:49):
and then doubled in another run in the ninth, but
it was too little, too late, as the Mets won
seven to three to take two of three from the Padres. Now,
I guess the only good news is if we get
for Me going a little bit, that would be good.
Because I mean, he has done nothing all season, so
I'm trying to find the bright side here.

Speaker 5 (01:41:06):
I appreciate that Eddie.

Speaker 1 (01:41:08):
News was terrible on Friday, though, as we found out
that Ramon Loreano was placed on the sixty day I
l pretty much ending this season as he had to
have hip surgery.

Speaker 2 (01:41:19):
Though he is done.

Speaker 1 (01:41:23):
There is some slight hope that maybe if they make
the postseason, he could be available.

Speaker 2 (01:41:27):
But I don't know nothing. I got a bad hip
right now. I don't think the same. I don't think
it's the same. And it's.

Speaker 1 (01:41:38):
Yeah, so times are tough.

Speaker 2 (01:41:40):
Who do they play now next day?

Speaker 5 (01:41:43):
All right?

Speaker 2 (01:41:43):
Whatever? Home or away home? Okay, right, that doesn't matter.
They have a losing record at home right now? Righty
damn napkin, throw the worst throw the big freedom too.

Speaker 1 (01:41:58):
Fifty White House UF Sea card is going down this weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:42:03):
Or is it?

Speaker 1 (01:42:05):
A lawsuit has been filed to try and prevent this
these fights from happening. The lawsuit alleges the Department of
Interior and the National Park Services violated federal law by
organizing a private sporting event on public property and failing
to obtain congressional approval for the event's construction sites and

(01:42:29):
everything else that has been going on.

Speaker 4 (01:42:30):
I didn't get like a permit or nothing.

Speaker 1 (01:42:32):
Well, they say, the Trump organization says, this is like
every event that happens on the White House lawn. We
don't have to do that for the Easter egg hunt.

Speaker 5 (01:42:41):
I mean, it's kids running around with baskets and eastern
that they're not building an octagon.

Speaker 2 (01:42:46):
Yeah, it's much more shot law, it's much more than
don't take shots of that. Trump says, it's better than
the Eiffel Tower. Oh, it is gorgeous.

Speaker 5 (01:42:54):
Okay, Okay, it's really funny. I was showing the man
Robert that he had I don't know where he's been,
but he hasn't seen that being built. And it's just
it looks like it's a I like that bang being
built in the front.

Speaker 1 (01:43:03):
It's a White House long there. They're talking about leaving
it up. That's so cool.

Speaker 2 (01:43:10):
Okay, Softly typical doesn't like get like the ballroom either
a shop shop. Oh yeah, I mean, listen, this is
gonna be insane. I still, I mean, I'm excited obviously
as a UFC fan. There're gonna be incredible fights, but

(01:43:31):
uh yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:43:32):
I don't know they're gonna be the best fights ever.

Speaker 1 (01:43:35):
Honestly, they I don't I don't know, I don't know.
I hope so I get what you're.

Speaker 5 (01:43:39):
Doing there, you know, typical.

Speaker 2 (01:43:43):
There you go.

Speaker 1 (01:43:43):
That is a sports dirt for today. Emily, we know
you love wine.

Speaker 5 (01:43:48):
What's your favorite Savvy B meaning the Savvy Block Savvy B.

Speaker 1 (01:43:54):
Well, there is a hot new trend with the Savvy B.
What you need to try. We're gonna tell you what
it is. See if you'll like this coming up next
on the show on Rock five three.

Speaker 5 (01:44:07):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:44:07):
So we know Emily loves her wine, loves it. Uh
And your favorite brand of wine would.

Speaker 5 (01:44:16):
Be Kirkland Savion Blanc.

Speaker 8 (01:44:19):
Oh specifically, you're right, and I remembered Alan, this girl
knows what she's talking about talking about your absolutely.

Speaker 5 (01:44:30):
Right favorite wine Savion Blanc from New Zealand. Thank you
very much, because not one's not from New Zealand. Don't
taste the same, different grapes, different different driven notes. But
the brand that I go to that's absolutely delicious. If
you like Savian Block and you're listening their Kirkland Green Ball.

Speaker 2 (01:44:47):
This is your taste. I mean, people, if you like a.

Speaker 5 (01:44:49):
New Zealand savion block. You'll like it, thank you.

Speaker 4 (01:44:51):
And I always I've wondered because we always hear about
how you like to have a glass when you cook dinner,
a glass, well.

Speaker 2 (01:45:00):
When you cook dinner, when you're in the shower, you're
watching TV.

Speaker 1 (01:45:07):
Wait a minute, Wait a minute.

Speaker 4 (01:45:16):
So I've never pictured the hat, but I've always wondered,
how do you drink it? Are we doing a long
stem wine glass? Do we have one of those short?
Is it in a plastic cup? Is it straight out
of a bottle?

Speaker 5 (01:45:28):
Like?

Speaker 4 (01:45:29):
What what are we doing?

Speaker 5 (01:45:30):
I have tended to use the stemless short metal tumbler
actually a metal tumble Like I don't know, Like if
there's somebody that comes over and I'm having a glass
wine with them, I'll get like a regular wine glass.
But like I'm just by myself, right, I don't know.
It's easier, it keeps it cold, and it also like
I don't have to worry about breaking it. It's just easy.
So that's what I use a little too well, I mean,
I mean tipsy.

Speaker 1 (01:45:51):
So is your go to wine? Did you know there's
a hot new trend in the savvy b world?

Speaker 5 (01:45:59):
What is Eddie?

Speaker 1 (01:46:00):
This is taking the world by storm. Oh yeah, and
people are loving this swear by it. Really you gotta.

Speaker 4 (01:46:06):
Try this, okay, Yeah, there was a whole article about
it in Food and Wine magazine. Not people talkingancy yeah,
because it's kind of one of those things where you
hear it and you go ooh, I'll give that a try,
or you go what what, no, no, thank you. Because
people are putting frozen pickles in their savvy brozen pickle,

(01:46:29):
so you get dill pickles. We're talking about dill pickles
off the size, yeah, and.

Speaker 5 (01:46:33):
They say, like, you're not like cutting up a chunk
of it.

Speaker 4 (01:46:35):
Well, so that's the thing. You take the pickle and
then you freeze it so it almost becomes a pickle
ice cube and then you slice it. But they say
to do decent sized slices, almost like they are the
ice cubes in your Savvy b They say, if you
really love the flavor of pickle, you also add a
little splash of the pickle juice you. They say, it's

(01:47:00):
kind of in the world of like a dirty martini.

Speaker 5 (01:47:05):
Here's the deal. You were putting the pickles in a chardonay.
So chardonnays are like dryer and they're like they're not
they're like oki notes and buttery notes. There's nothing sweet
about a chardonnay. Savian Blanc has like crisp fruity notes,
so like I could see it maybe working in the chardonnay,
but in the Savian Blanc it's fruity a little bit

(01:47:25):
and like break. I don't know what.

Speaker 4 (01:47:27):
Nobody's arguing with you, we're weird, which is really weird
to fight about it. Well, the people have Food and
Wine magazine decided to get the staff together. I have
a feeling they get excited to to try these things.

Speaker 1 (01:47:42):
Who in the right mind just went, you know, what
would be good with this class of wine pickles?

Speaker 2 (01:47:49):
It's so weird.

Speaker 4 (01:47:50):
I don't know. Yeah, I have no idea. But it
was social media that started it and they were claiming
they loved it, and it was going viral real fast.
So the people Food and Wine decided, Okay, well we're
gonna sit down and get all the staff in the
room and actually have them try it to see what
they think. And it turns out it was kind of split,

(01:48:11):
but it was more to the side of people saying no,
thank you.

Speaker 5 (01:48:15):
They say they say the pickle.

Speaker 4 (01:48:17):
Is so strong that it basically covers all the other flavors,
and they say, you would never mess with them, man, yeah,
and you never want to do this with a high
quality wine. They say, this is this is definitely for
the the cheaper stuff.

Speaker 5 (01:48:34):
So a couple of people, hey, don't say that is
a screw screw. Oh boy, that is not all about
not a one that's bad as a screw tup. No,
there's fancy wines now that have screwtops.

Speaker 4 (01:48:45):
I feel like telling a screwtop it means it's not
true at all. It's like boons far.

Speaker 5 (01:48:49):
My mom drinks fancy wines and she'll have winds with screwtops.

Speaker 8 (01:48:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:48:52):
I don't live in your world. I can't. I can't
speak on it. Okay, we've we've evolved with the screw top. Yeah.
So the majority of the people in the room not
a big fan. But there were a handful that were like, oh,
that's that's different, that's fun. But again, nothing different.

Speaker 1 (01:49:08):
They said, that's different, that's fun. Is that the quote article?

Speaker 4 (01:49:15):
You made that up? Liked it?

Speaker 1 (01:49:17):
Okay, so that's different, that's fun. It's not a direct quote.
That doesn't even sound that good. Like if you the
way you said that.

Speaker 4 (01:49:23):
It was excited.

Speaker 2 (01:49:25):
That's different, that's fun. It's like I would never do
this again.

Speaker 4 (01:49:27):
Yeah, but the way yeah, well there they spin definitely
gave that.

Speaker 1 (01:49:35):
Sorry everyone. Yeah, Emily, you have a homework assignment. I
would like you to try this and film yourself doing
it and post it for us. Okay, okay, because if
if you hate it, that's fine, don't go in with
you know, I would like you to go in with
the open mind. Because if this is your new thing
and it's changed your rock, your world, and you say

(01:49:56):
that that's different, that's fun.

Speaker 2 (01:49:59):
This may be amazing.

Speaker 5 (01:50:00):
All right. I do have the savvy be at home,
and I do have pickles.

Speaker 2 (01:50:05):
Yeah, come on. Obviously, Also, you have to do it
as your first drink. I don't want you to have
any buzz on just because you'll drink anything. You'll drink
off the floor, so.

Speaker 5 (01:50:15):
It's really messed up.

Speaker 2 (01:50:16):
I'm not drinking wine if you.

Speaker 5 (01:50:19):
I'm not gonna lick wine on my.

Speaker 2 (01:50:23):
Taking your first drink of the night. Yes, so around
like one o'clock in the I don't.

Speaker 5 (01:50:26):
Have a drink.

Speaker 1 (01:50:27):
When you get home.

Speaker 5 (01:50:29):
I don't. I don't have it eleven o'clock.

Speaker 1 (01:50:32):
Okay, so pickle savvy b we'll do you'll do it.
I'll do it, okay, cool, I will do it.

Speaker 2 (01:50:39):
Give us your review, okay, all right.

Speaker 1 (01:50:42):
Uh come on up tomorrow I'll be dropping my latest
top ten of course. Plus, Emily says her man Robert
has started doing something that she really.

Speaker 2 (01:50:51):
Does not like.

Speaker 5 (01:50:51):
I can't handle it.

Speaker 1 (01:50:52):
And and this came out of nowhere.

Speaker 5 (01:50:54):
It has to stop.

Speaker 1 (01:50:55):
Oh whoa, We're gonna see what old Robbie Shades has
been doing all tomorrow

Speaker 4 (01:51:03):
