Speaker 1 (00:00):
So I've been telling you guys, been on a little
bit of a health journey here six months in feeling
some say looking great? Something you do look great? Did
that hit anybody else?
Speaker 2 (00:17):
What is it like? It's a nice thing, it's a compliment,
but it just it sounds the total looks fantastic.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
Look at him, my eyes. I just, you know, I
just have a problem. The word journey triggers me. That's
all triggers me.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
What would you like me to call it? Mm hmm.
I'm not sure.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
I'll have to get back to you on that one,
but we can figure something else out.
Speaker 1 (00:44):
It was in January I decided, you know, I don't
want to do resolutions or anything like that, so I
decided to take this leap and go on a diet
and you know, change all my ways and all that stuff.
And here we are, you know, or I mean, what
would you call that? I mean, to me, that's a journey.
Speaker 3 (01:02):
I guess you're right. It's just you know how when
you start talking about him and you refer to your
mentor over here.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
Well, it's thanks to him that I'm here, that you're here.
You saved your life, saved his baby's life, and my life.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
Wait and threw up.
Speaker 4 (01:21):
Well, my baby choked on an ice popsicle and I
had to give him the him.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
You're the one that gave him a little piece of popsicle.
Speaker 4 (01:26):
Yeah, but luckily I was there and I was able
to put him on his stomach.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
And anytime I go to eat something bad, he does
the same thing to me. Yeah, when you're choking whatever,
put a doughnut in my mouth, he slaps, and.
Speaker 4 (01:43):
Then I make him look at a donut with a
with a picture of Hitler on it.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
This weird association, but you know, this is what my
mentor weird part of the journey. So I have I
don't know if I've hit a little bit of a
plateau because I'm not. I didn't lose weight this week,
but I mean, I don't want to lose too much.
Speaker 4 (02:06):
Right, you don't have me skinning bones.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
You're right, You're right now. You know I've always been.
Speaker 4 (02:10):
What younger guy, Eddie, do you have a goal?
Speaker 3 (02:12):
Weight?
Speaker 5 (02:13):
Didn't?
Speaker 1 (02:13):
I didn't. I did. My goal was to not die.
It's a good goal, you know, and to change my
health numbers, which I did. That's all I cared about.
Losing weight was never I'd never really considered it or care.
Speaker 5 (02:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
No, but they just came with it, you know, obviously.
So I had a goal weight.
Speaker 4 (02:29):
I'm one to eighty five is my goal weight. I
was two thirteen and I'm doing white time now, I'm
eating better and people have said I have a lot
of my buddies tell me that it looks I'm too
skinny and I've lost my muscle, which is nice, which
isn't nice. I disagree, thank you. But I have a
goal weight five. Yeah, So have you set a goal weight?
Speaker 5 (02:48):
Now?
Speaker 1 (02:49):
I didn't think about it. So I started in the
beginning of the year at two fifteen. Wow, I right now,
way whoa wow, skinny bit. It's a lot. It's weird.
It's weird.
Speaker 4 (03:03):
But yeah, you're like, you're like, wem binyana, you're that skinny?
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Who yam?
Speaker 5 (03:10):
What is it?
Speaker 1 (03:12):
We yam? So yes, this health journey has been wild
something that you know. I again when I got really
heavy at one point in my life and then dropped
a bunch of weight and it was all through it again,
diet and stuff like that. So if I do eat
(03:33):
rite and eat better and things like that, weight does
come off me, which is weird, not everybody's like that, Yeah, honestly,
they're like, but it's it's helped, and so things have
been going great. I'm very happy with the results. Okay,
people when they see me you haven't seen me in
a while. There it's noticeable. I don't think about it
because I see myself every day. But if somebody hasn't
(03:53):
seen me and say, you know, since the beginning of
the year, they go, oh, wow, wait, you look great.
She she had some nice things.
Speaker 4 (03:59):
To say next to me that she's really sorry she
didn't get to see. Uh, tell Eddie how great he looks.
And she's so impressed and he looks great, and I
was like, hey, he's married, chill out.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
Wow, really again, this was all thanks to you too,
you know, so you should have said, hey, you should
be thinking me, Oh, it's just weird, you know.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
Yeah, we have When we have comedians coming here that
you've known for years that haven't seen you in a while,
they're the same reaction.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Which is nice.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
And all this annoys Emily Eddie. If Eddie were to say,
you know, this weekend that he had McDonald's and and
he just decided to indulge a little bit. Emily has
been going, oh, yeah, really, and we would be so excited.
She wants people to fail.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
Wants people to fail about happy for us, fast all fast.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
So I did have something happen recently that I didn't
really see coming. I guess I should have seen it coming,
but I didn't really see it come coming. I ran
into a person that I haven't seen in a while.
So I wouldn't say where friends were more like acquaintances
in the baseball warl and so I just haven't seen
him in a really long time and ran into him
(05:04):
last week and he made a comment to me that
kind of shocked me. And then it happened again with
another personally. So the first time I ran into this
guy and we're talking and he goes, man, you've lost
a lot of weight on I go, yeah, you know
it sort of told him, and I, you know, he goes, oh,
so what do you want to Are you on ozempic
(05:25):
the zem that hasn't even come up. I haven't thought
about that really, no, because I mean it's the furthest
thing from it where if it's just a diet change
and all that stuff. I wasn't really thinking about it,
and I didn't know how to take that because I
was like, no, I felt offended. You can do whatever
(05:48):
you want. I don't have a problem anybody using ozempa.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
I know it's like taboo for some reason, it is,
but it shouldn't be.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
It's everywhere. Well because it's not really a weight. It's
not supposed to be for a weight luster, It's supposed
to be four other things. But whatever.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
Like remember when I'm onlying dating for a started with Tinder,
and nobody wanted to say they met on Tinder like.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
People would meet, and I started with Match. Okay, but
you know what I mean.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
Nobody wanted to say they met on Tinder, and now
now no one cares. I think that's this is very similar.
Nobody wants to say they lose Gade on his epic?
Speaker 1 (06:18):
Who cares? I don't. I don't have a problem with it.
But if I'm not on it, and I've actually had
to do a lot of hard work to get where
I'm at right now, now I'm offended. So it's not
I'm not offended that you that I would have used
those epic or anything like that, but I didn't. So
like you got to give me my prompts, so you know,
(06:39):
I respond to I go, no, I go no, I've
I've changed my diet. I had to go to all
the things that I've done and you know, and and
and he kind of looked at me like, okay, also
believe wait what I'm not. So I was kind of
like offended and kind of hurt. But I'm like whatever,
I'm I don't really know this guy. If you want
(07:00):
to think that, yeah, sure, I guess, but it kind
of discredits all the hard work that I did. And
so I'm like, all right, whatever. So then the other day,
we remember when we were having the big sales thing
in here, you know, we had a big sales thing
in here, and I was in talking with our boss
and we're chatting it up and she was, you know,
talking to me about losing weight and stuff like that.
When another one of these sales guys comes in and
(07:21):
he overhears us talking and he goes, oh, yeah, yeah,
I've seen you lost a lot of weight. What are
you on the JAB? I think you guys can figure
out who I'm talking about. Who said that, Of course
the jab are You're on the jab?
Speaker 4 (07:33):
The jab is a weird thing to say because usually
the jab is for vaccines.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
Right, yeah, yeah, I think any shot. Now I guess,
I guess. And I looked at her and go, no,
what are we doing here? Now? Everybody's going to just
assume that I'm on this. Really, Yeah, that's the thing.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
Anybody that loses a ton of weight, that's what this was.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
It.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
I didn't lose it in a month. I mean, this
has been six months.
Speaker 4 (08:00):
I wouldn't be shocked to hear that Emily is spreading
this rumor. I would would not sit here that everyone.
People go to Emily, hey, can you believe that Eddie?
And she's like, yeah, it's probably on zimpic.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
Not probably.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
She goes he is, he doesn't want to anyone know,
but tell him he got the jab. He got the jab?
Speaker 1 (08:23):
Im it's true.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
And I don't know how Emily's like, he tells me
it's in pill form now.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
Pill form hell, And I'm not doing that about you guys.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
But I feel I feel, I.
Speaker 1 (08:36):
Don't know, I feel it's kind of rude to ask
it is.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
I feel you can ask somebody like, hey, how do
you do it? And I it's up to them.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
Like my mom's husband, he oh, your new dad? Is
that who you're referring? So you get the jab.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
So I saw him on Mothers Say, and he had
lost a ton of weight, and I wonder.
Speaker 5 (08:59):
Why so weird get that cash money? Shut up?
Speaker 2 (09:12):
And I knew that he had been having issues with
his diabetes.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
But even knowing shut.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
He has, even knowing he has diabetes, and seeing he's
lost so much weight, I still felt uncomfortable asking. And
so I said, oh, looking good. You know what have
you been doing?
Speaker 3 (09:36):
You do at the same time, and that's when.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
He told me, actually, my doctor said this would be
good for my diabetes, and so they put me on
this and it turns out I'm now losing all this
weight on top of it.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
But I I didn't. I didn't. I'm not like that.
I'm not a braddy child. I'm an adult woman.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
Okay, uh and so yeah, But even though in my
head I knew it, and even in my head I
knew what had to do with his diabetes, I still didn't.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
You are rude to him. I'm not really surprising.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
I still didn't feel comfortable asking. That's why I am
shocked that two people just came up.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
I guess this is the thing, though, so direct with
you and now it makes me feel does everybody think that.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
Well.
Speaker 4 (10:20):
Also, it's also it's now like if you lose weight,
you're like looked at as like a cheater.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
It's like bad to lose weight here, what I mean?
You can do whatever you want. It's like, but can't
I get a pat on the back though, you.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
Should, but that you should know that the people like
walking around will probably think that just the way so.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
Much like if you lose like five pounds, people may
not think it, but if you've lost as much weight
as you've lost, everybody's thinking it.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
Sorry, sorry, you see. Yeah it suck. Yeah, I'm just
gonna go back and screw you. Guys. Whatever everyone wants
to do, don't do it.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
Here's a jona
