And so he sits.

Down in a machine and he's doing twelve dollars.

Spins, oh my god, which which.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
Is pretty high for us. But he's like hitting okay.
And now now his.
Speaker 5 (06:39):
Machine way or the other totally.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
And now his machine has quite a bit of credit
in it, and he's claiming he's at a hot machine.
I'm like, okay, okay, whatever you tell yourself. So let's
just keep this going. So what he starts doing is,
you know, you get you get a little crazy, and
he starts every once in a while while doing twenty five

dollar spin, which I'm getting real nervous, guys, I'm getting
real nervous. But I know any point I'm gonna yank
him off that machine.
Speaker 5 (07:11):
Time to go home.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
So on one of his twenty five dollars spins, he
hits the bonus screen.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
Oh here we got mega what are you doing?
Speaker 2 (07:23):
And so the bonus screen, it's like filling up these
different boxes with different amounts.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
And is that one of the ones that has like
the mega jackpot, mini jackpot, all those things.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
It has the different jackpots, which we've never really seen.
Sometimes we've seen the mini, but it's it's filling up
with different dollar amounts, but since it's a twenty five
dollars spin, these dollar amounts are pretty substantial. And next thing,
you know, all of a sudden, the Mini pops up
on the screen. Okay, then all of a sudden we
(07:58):
get the.
Speaker 5 (07:58):
Minor pops up on the screen, and.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Then the Mega also pops up on the screen. And
again we're looking at this and we have no idea
how much money this is until the thing is over.
And it did that thing where it filled up every
single box except for one.
Speaker 5 (08:19):
But if that last box would have filled.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
In, it would have been the like million dollar amount
that's on the top, that's on the screen that like
no one ever hits. So of course we're like hyped,
thinking it's gonna happen, but it doesn't. But still we
got the Mega, the Minor, the Mini, plus a whole
bunch of dollar amounts, and so we're like, how much
money is that?
Speaker 5 (08:39):
We have no idea.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
A whistles going off, yeah, oh my god.
Speaker 5 (08:43):
Yeah, it's like it's you know, screening, it's saying big Winter,
big winner.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
Right, So we get all this money, we cash it
out and it's it's.
Speaker 5 (08:52):
Late especially for us.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
It's like eleven thirty at night, and I'm like, okay,
like let's call it. Yeah thought bottles, My thought is
we're going home because it's never going to get better
than this, right, And so the boo all of a
sudden he's on a high and he starts talking and

talking and so this is a substantial amount of money.
Speaker 5 (09:18):
What's raising our hand?
Speaker 1 (09:20):
What you don't? Oh, you want to know how much
of a win?
Speaker 3 (09:26):
Are you?
Speaker 5 (09:26):
Insane? Course?
Speaker 1 (09:29):
What are we talking about?
Speaker 2 (09:31):
So dude has a thousand dollars worth of tickets in
his pocket and this one jackpot was over nine thousand.
Speaker 5 (09:45):
Okay, just this one jackpot. No, it was like nine thousand,
one hundred.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
That's a lot of money for us. For Sky, this
is like walking around yeah stop it.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
We have never even like seen like we're the kind
people that go to the casino and if we break
even when we leave, like that's the wind, you know
what I mean?
Speaker 5 (10:05):
So to walk with like ten grand.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
That is well I never won that much before the casino.
I don't think did they give you a check or
do they give you all cash?
Speaker 5 (10:14):
They counted out in cash?
Speaker 1 (10:15):
How long is that? Taking one? And I think a
threshold too, where you gotta actually, oh yeah.
Speaker 5 (10:21):
No, they can't fill out a four.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
I'm going to make sure you file that.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
Know, the casino files it on your behalf.
Speaker 5 (10:29):
So yeah, there's no getting away from the I R S.
They want their cut of that.
Speaker 1 (10:35):

Okay, that's true by breakfast next day.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
Well, here's where it went sideways because the boots on
a high. He keeps talking about how great this money
is because it's gonna allow him to buy all of
these things for his v W you that he's been
restoring for. I mean, he's had it for ten years,

but he's been working on it for like the last
year like a madman.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
But no, that's cool, But no, it's not.
Speaker 5 (11:12):
What do you mean we're not dumping ten thousand.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
Dollars of it on the VW.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
Oh he's he's like, now I can get those new
door panels I wanted. Like his thing was he was
just going to take the dings out and the rust
out himself.
Speaker 5 (11:26):
Now he's gonna buy new door panels for it.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
Why not? It's like fun money, right, and he won it.
He hits his money.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
And then that's when I said I thought we were
going to take a nice chunk of this and put
it in our daughter's college fund. Oh, come on, he
has like four payments left on it.
Speaker 5 (11:47):
Let's pay off the car.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
So you want to do not fun stuff.
Speaker 5 (11:51):
I want to do responsible.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
No, this is very money.
Speaker 5 (11:55):
It's not free.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
And you didn't You don't get to say you didn't
win it.

I see, that's that's kind of the look he had
on his face.

It is weird because he doesn't work. So legitimately Sky
funded the wind, but he works in other ways. You're right,
the projects around the house, right, you're right to.

Now, Now, Eddie, if your wife won, wouldn't you think
you would have a say and how the money is
spent or.

But I mean if she's.

Yeah, she wanted to buy a nice bag with it
or something, go for it.

Five thousand to me, gambling with are fun money. You
can shoot, you can go do fund something fun with that.
Well you know, I know this is crazy for you
to think about, but we would probably do like a
family trip, not to Oregon, you know, but something fun.
Well again, there's a lot of places you can go
so to spend. Spend the money that way.
Speaker 5 (13:16):
I thought, like a thousand bucks you can put in
your v W or.
Speaker 3 (13:20):
What and then you can't buy anything with a grand.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
And then the rest of it should go like to
paying off things like our car and the college fund.
