Speaker 1 (00:00):
I feel like I'm losing it. Man, I don't know
what the hell is going on. This is the weirdest
thing that I've experienced in a while.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
It makes no sense.
Speaker 1 (00:08):
So yesterday this was so strange. First of all, Sky
usually leaves a little bit after me, like she likes
to do her busy work here in the office.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
She likes to make it look like she's working, like
really hard on the radio show, right, but she's really
just doing.
Speaker 4 (00:27):
What would she be doing, I don't know, but yeah,
but it's true because people are sometimes I've had people
say to me, wow, first in, first out, Yeah, but really,
I'm like making doctor's appointments, I'm paying online bills, bills
are I'm checking statuses of random things. I'm pricing airline flights. Like, yeah,
(00:50):
I'm doing total personal busy work. But first and first
out or last out, I guess killing the game.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
Killing the game, That's what I do.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
You And so, you know, usually it is, you know,
maybe once a week that Sky will leave before me.
And so yesterday I had a couple of meetings or whatever,
and then I went back to the office and the
door was already kind of half closed. That's that's the
message that Skuy has left the building.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
Yes, I really, I don't know about this.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
I'm protecting the office by not even fully closing the door,
just leaving at a crack open, just so, just so
no randoms wandering and steal all of Eddie's goodies.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
Why not shut the door all the way?
Speaker 4 (01:34):
Uh, because then I feel that's too confusing to aggress.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
Eddie has a hand, you could turn a hand.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Yeah, but I'm also lost.
Speaker 4 (01:42):
Well, so that's my biggest concern, that I may autopile
it and and lock it.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
And I and I freaked over here was walking around
keys in his pocket all the time.
Speaker 5 (01:50):
Yeah, I don't think I'll make a freak show.
Speaker 6 (01:53):
Go.
Speaker 4 (01:53):
So so the move is is half closed the door
and that I'm.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
Out, so I know Sky's gone. Yeah, And so I
opened the door to what looks like a murder scene,
a murder. I don't even understand what the hell has
gone on here. I look down and like, we have
a couch in our office, and right in front of
the couch there is a massive wet spot, not a
little one. It looks like a giant wet spot, like
(02:20):
somebody spilled an entire water bottle or coffee mug or
some I don't know what it is, and I'm like, oh, man,
what the hell happened? And so I'm like, oh, that's crazy.
Somebody Sky spilled her water bottle or something on her
way out. And then as I look around the room,
I see it's everywhere, so clearly somebody I'm assuming Sky
(02:43):
dropped her water bottle and it like kind of exploded
because it's all over my chair, it's all over my desk,
it's all over my keyboard. I have my like laptop
bag that's on the couch. I put it there when
I go back to the office, and it's like it's
covered in wetness, and I'm like, what the hell happened
in here? And so I immediately text guy, Hey, did you
(03:05):
spill something in the office, and then like kind of
not clean it up, Like what the hell? That's not
like Sky, that's so weird, you know, And so I
text her like what happened? And then of course it
takes like an hour to get a response.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
Why, well, you know she's not sleeping.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
She again, I forgot she had her massage, her weekly massage.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
Yeah, and I hadn't If she hadn't had the massage.
She still would take that longer.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Respect agree, Well, maybe not quite that long.
Speaker 5 (03:32):
But you're right, dip out early.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
Yeah, yeah, I got.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
I got a text yesterday morning from my massage gal saying, hey,
any chance she'll see yeah, oh right away.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
Right.
Speaker 3 (03:45):
Massage gal? Yeah, personal massage And.
Speaker 4 (03:49):
She's not a personal I go to a place, but
I've just found one gal I really like. And she
texted and any chance you could come in early? And
I said, well, I can't guarantee it because you never
know how long the Hot p one podcast is going
to go for after the show, I said, but as
soon as I wrap up, all head out the door.
And so I was in the middle of the massage
(04:10):
when the text came through. And it wasn't until I
got home where I saw Eddie's text. And yeah, I said,
did you spill something in the office? And I right, no,
I don't think so.
Speaker 5 (04:21):
That weirded out. So you don't think so, I.
Speaker 7 (04:26):
Mean you would know if you spill something, you think, so.
Speaker 4 (04:30):
You know, Well I had just because right before I left,
I filled up.
Speaker 7 (04:34):
My and not finishing your busy work.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
Well, I was moving fast.
Speaker 4 (04:39):
I was moving fast, like Emily, and so the last
thing I had done before I left was filled up
my water bottle, but I screwed the top on, so
and I didn't know the like how big the spill was,
So I thought maybe like a dropper too, I don't know,
because maybe if it was directly on your bag and
you saw it and it like, I don't know, So
(05:01):
I said, no, I don't, I don't think.
Speaker 5 (05:03):
I don't think. So made me question Scott.
Speaker 7 (05:06):
It's such a sky answer.
Speaker 4 (05:07):
Oh I could totally tell you didn't believe me based
on your response.
Speaker 7 (05:12):
Weird response.
Speaker 5 (05:13):
Yeah, it's a weird response.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
I don't understand that yes or no, either you know
you spilled something or you don't like that.
Speaker 5 (05:20):
It made me go huh.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
And if it was a droplet, Eddie probably wouldn't text
I wouldn't.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
Yeah, I don't, I don't, I I don't know. I
just that was just my like gut response.
Speaker 4 (05:32):
But then I could tell by your response that he
was still questioning it because he goes, what really, question Mark?
And then he goes, there was a huge spill by
the couch and it was everywhere on my chair, on
my bag, on my desk, and and then I was like, oh, well,
that's definitely not me.
Speaker 5 (05:49):
You're sure now, you're sure?
Speaker 2 (05:51):
Well, yeah, like if I was, I don't believe.
Speaker 5 (05:55):
Events.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
Yes, So as I'm like now cleaning up my area,
I guess I sort of believe Sky.
Speaker 5 (06:02):
I mean, I don't know it.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
I noticed there is a roll of weird industrial paper
towels like once that you see like a mechanics like
they're like blue and you like tear you know what
to like shop towels. Yeah, changing my oil, yeah, we
don't know how to change it all.
Speaker 5 (06:23):
And so right here, which that's what Sky would have gone.
Speaker 7 (06:27):
We have here are like they don't do anything like.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
Gas station bathroom papers.
Speaker 5 (06:32):
Yeah, those those are where our go to towels are.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
So now I'm like, oh, I think maybe the engineers
came into our office for some reason, and maybe he like.
Speaker 5 (06:42):
Those guys are real shaky man. You know, I don't
know what's going on with those guys.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
So like maybe they I don't know, maybe they dropped
their coffee or something and spilled it and then kind
of halpazardly cleaned it up or what. I really don't
understand what's going on. And then Sky really has me
spinning out out. Yeah, because then at that point, I
cleaned up my stuff and I leave, and Sky texts
(07:06):
me back and says, did you look up? And I go,
do I look up? Because there's a building above us,
you know, on office space above us.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
And all the pipes run through the ceiling.
Speaker 5 (07:18):
And it was.
Speaker 4 (07:19):
And the reason I asked that is because when we
went into our office yesterday, well, because the roll of
paper towels.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
How do you know that all the pipes rode through
the ceiling?
Speaker 2 (07:27):
Well, I'll tell you. So.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
So I hear the roll of paper towels and I
immediately go, oh, that's the engineers, because we don't have
access to a quote roll of paper towels. And when
I had walked into the office yesterday, I specifically noticed
it was like extra cold in there, like like like
the AC was pumping, and.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
It was.
Speaker 5 (07:52):
It was probably too much murder, she wrote, And Matt, so.
Speaker 4 (07:56):
There's either a ghost in there or there's an issue
with the air condition.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
And so it was probably about five years two.
Speaker 7 (08:04):
Things, by the way, a ghost or the air exact thing,
it could be room that cold.
Speaker 4 (08:10):
Yeah, So and it was probably about five years ago.
I came in early in the morning and we're going
back deep and the ceiling was leaking because the ac
line had frozen up, and me and Mike usher from
over across the the ams across the way. Him and
(08:31):
I were getting trash cans and we were like getting.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
All the driss was ai.
Speaker 7 (08:35):
That was a big deal around here. But it wasn't
just but I remember that that wasn't just our office.
That was all over the building right right.
Speaker 4 (08:43):
But I'm but I'm thinking, like so my thought, yeah,
so my thought is that I'm gonna come in in
the morning and this morning and.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
There's gonna be feeling tiles removed.
Speaker 7 (08:54):
Yeah, it's gonna be like a movie.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
There's gonna be trash cans catching water everywhere.
Speaker 5 (08:58):
So that's why the doors this flood of water.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
Or what ghost yeah or ghosts ghost urinated on the
right clearly.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
So that's why I asked Eddie if he looks up.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
Well and I and I respond, no, I think I
would have noticed that, you know what I mean, if
something is stripping down, I mean I would have seen.
But then it got me like spin it off, like
did I.
Speaker 5 (09:21):
Not look up? Like what is going on? Like what
is that? What the hell?
Speaker 7 (09:24):
I want to hear more of Sky's crazy conspiracy could
be No.
Speaker 4 (09:28):
I was telling the Boo I didn't know what I
was gonna walk into this morning. Last night I was
telling my husband, I'm like, I don't know what I
go with. I bet the A C line froze up
and that it flooded.
Speaker 1 (09:40):
Some sort of apparition. Yeah, yeah, I don't know what
the hell. I'm so confused. I don't understand what is
going on. I still don't know what the hell it
was because we walk in this morning and this you know,
all the spills dried up and whatever, and I still
have no idea.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
The floor is not technically dry because, as you know,
in the morning, I wear socks with flip flops, and
then when I get into the office I take my
flip flops off and do some stretching in my socks,
and the bottom of my.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
Socks got wet.
Speaker 5 (10:14):
So this is why she gets here so early.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
I have to stretch.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
She gets for stretching leaves because she's doing her busy work.
Speaker 3 (10:23):
It's all personal.
Speaker 5 (10:24):
It has nothing to do with work.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
Yeah, first and last out, guys, writer.
Speaker 7 (10:27):
I feel like now is the best time to say this.
The mystery can be solved.
Speaker 5 (10:33):
It was me.
Speaker 4 (10:34):
Wait, Eddie's been I know, Eddie's been blaming me this
whole time, like even this morning, you weren't even.
Speaker 5 (10:45):
On my ring. You don't go back to the office.
Speaker 7 (10:49):
It was a nightmare situation.
Speaker 5 (10:52):
Mother, Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (10:55):
Now he wouldn't clean it up.
Speaker 5 (10:59):
It was half a yes, it was.
Speaker 7 (11:01):
Let me explain. I had so I had to be
at my Muay Thai class at eleven.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
Okay, we got done with the podcast, and.
Speaker 5 (11:09):
Then I was doing busy.
Speaker 7 (11:10):
Work, busy work and stuff. And then I went back
to the break room to fill up my water bottle
because it used to hydrate. And then I was going
the rounds, and then I was going to the office
to get my Celsius. Well pick me up like Emily.
Walking back to the office. Everything's fine. And for some
(11:32):
reason I thought I was carrying my water bottle by
the handle and it was working fine, and then out
of nowhere and it was totally filled. It just goes
brute and totally falls and I guess not but but
I carried it all the way through the production room
down the hallway, so I don't know how it must
(11:53):
have been the ghost knocked it out of my hands
and water went everywhere I know, because it's is thirty
two ounces. Yeah, so I kind of so I stand
there for a second and kind of look around, like
nobody saw it. I could just leave, but I didn't.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
Oh my god, that's your first thought in our area.
Speaker 7 (12:13):
I think it's that is It's not.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
No, it's not everyone.
Speaker 7 (12:18):
First, first of all, I didn't do that. I'm just
saying that was my first thought. That's horrible because then
I'm like, or maybe I set up a camera and
just to see everyone's reaction that comes in. But I
didn't do that either because I never have time. I
gotta be tme and you don't have a camera and
I don't have a camera. So I'm like, well, I
need this is the paper towels we have our gang
anything I need more than that. So I go back
(12:39):
to the engineer office and I asked for like if
they had a big towel, like some towels or something
I could use to sop.
Speaker 5 (12:46):
Up this mess.
Speaker 7 (12:47):
And one of the engineers grinned, which I didn't like
so much, like they were happy.
Speaker 4 (12:50):
I did it.
Speaker 5 (12:53):
I can see that actually.
Speaker 7 (12:54):
Actually they appreciate that, like the grin.
Speaker 4 (12:56):
I almost said something, oh please, like they were pumped
that you screwed up.
Speaker 3 (13:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (13:01):
It was like I get that. That's why they were like,
that's how I feel right now. Emily allows some people
to fire, and people make mistakes. If anyone succeeds, she
hates no exactly.
Speaker 7 (13:13):
Anyone knows that. So they give me those shop they
called the shop towels. Yeah, and I grabbed those and
I cut a bunch off the roll and start putting
them on and doing like as if your dog pete
on the floor. Yeah, and then I kind of hit
Eddie's bag. I didn't see you missed the spot I did.
(13:35):
The the cousters. Nothing I could do about that was
dried it that was socked in the the keyboard and
the chair. I didn't see. I was with the giant
puddle that was there. And then I hit a point
when it was like ten forty five and I was like,
it's water, it would dry. I gotta go.
Speaker 5 (13:51):
It was all over my bag. I mean, it was
all over it.
Speaker 7 (13:53):
I thought I gave the bag.
Speaker 5 (13:55):
I didn't.
Speaker 7 (13:55):
Here's the deal. I didn't want to pick up the
bag and touch it because I'm like, what if it
you know what I mean?
Speaker 6 (14:01):
He doesn't want you to touch it, like what what do
you mean?
Speaker 7 (14:04):
It's what are you taking? Like a once over? Like
a wax on wax off?
Speaker 5 (14:08):
Not a great job.
Speaker 7 (14:09):
And then I and then I was like I gotta go.
These roundhouses aren't gonna kick themselves.
Speaker 5 (14:14):
Huh. I got the hell out of it.
Speaker 4 (14:16):
No thought of loving a text being like hey, bro
spilled like sorry you noticed the floor sopping wet.
Speaker 7 (14:22):
Part of me was hoping that he would see it
and not forget about it, but be like whatever.
Speaker 5 (14:29):
I mean. I couldn't I couldn't sit in my chair.
Speaker 4 (14:34):
When Eddie brought this up at six oh one, confessing
and letting me take the blade for the last fifteen minutes.
Speaker 7 (14:41):
Well but I heard you said, I don't think so
I was getting.
Speaker 5 (14:46):
I still kind of questioned it. Okay, right, it.
Speaker 7 (14:49):
Is such a weird response. I thought there was a
point when I thought there was a point where I'm like,
maybe why saying that? Why?
Speaker 5 (14:59):
S all right?
Speaker 1 (15:00):
Well mystery solved, I guess, But I mean I had
a ridiculous human you are You're.
Speaker 5 (15:06):
Right, I guess, so, okay, I guess it's the ghost.
It was so bad
