Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, here we are, guys, my health journal. My god.
I talked to you guys about it last I didn't
make a big deal out about it. I try to
not even talk about it, to be honest with you.
But here we are. I am full blown cannonballing into
twenty twenty six my new health like skinny dipping. Stop it,

(00:22):
you bitch. That's right. Well, I am making a massive
change this morning, and I cannot get Sky on board.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
We ain't done yet.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
It's time for the podcast A year completely uncensored and
unacting filtered except for that part the.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Show's after show starts.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Now.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
You are the most stubborn human being on the face
of the planet. Just so you know, not true.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
That is a fact on the face of the planning
you've met every single human on the face. Yes, okay,
you're such a lot. You're the most dramatic man I've met.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
You.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
The last hour have been a lot to I agree.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
It when when you feel this good and you want
your closest friends to feel as good as you do
and not die from their fucking triglycerites, then you know
you're trying to step in and save the day.

Speaker 5 (01:34):
I hear I wasn't privy to that part of what's
going on.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
So I'm giddy to hear what's going on.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
So last week we were talking about resolutions and this
and that, and we all said we don't really believe
in resolutions, not really our thing. But that being said,
it is nice to start with a clean slate when
it's the new year. And so we heard that the
old gym rat Emily, has started going regularly to the gym.

(02:00):
Feel yesterday I went yesterday.

Speaker 6 (02:03):
I'm going to go today, Emily.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
What did you do?

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Yes, I did the bike for the first time. Oh,
I'm not a bike girl. Oh I'm not a right girl.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Because giant feet.

Speaker 6 (02:11):
Did you put resistance on it?

Speaker 1 (02:13):
I know?

Speaker 2 (02:14):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (02:15):
I mean, I know I did one of the workouts
on the program how you could set it and program one.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
So I think it does it automatically.

Speaker 6 (02:20):
Because but it's very low.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Oh, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
I think I'm judging her. I know, Jesus, every time
she talks man, she's doing something. I'm proud of her.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
But he's just he's one of those people. This is
why I didn't like to go to the gyms, because
there's assholes.

Speaker 5 (02:32):
That I know you're going, what the fuck is that?

Speaker 3 (02:37):
No, it's more about like I feel like you could
push yourself a little bit more.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Well, I don't know how. I mean, I'm just starting out.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
I'm so proud of you.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Thank you. And the reason I I don't like it.

Speaker 5 (02:46):
I have very long, le skinny legs, and they I
feel like they kept something wasn't.

Speaker 6 (02:51):
Right, and so you need to put the seat up
to where your hip is out right.

Speaker 5 (02:56):
So I did that for fifteen, and then I did
the treadmill twenty, and then I did the I like
really like the squat machine. What's it called lake press,
like press press, and then I did some little machines.

Speaker 6 (03:07):
Leg press isn't gonna work out your butt though.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
On the photo, that's what it says, pull back my back.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
It's more, but it depends on how your feet are,
because it could be like quasi this.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Guy, Yeah, you want to a lot right now?

Speaker 4 (03:19):
You want to for another reason, that's yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
And then I did one of these guys nobody can't.

Speaker 6 (03:25):
I mean, yeah, that's for glues.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Yeah, you're doing great, that's it.

Speaker 6 (03:32):
You just did two legs tanning, you know.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
And then I did some cardio. What car. I don't
know what they're it's curls. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Like you sit in the machine and you put like
this and you go like that.

Speaker 6 (03:43):
Also Preacher Cross, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
I did a couple of arm things with different arm fakes,
arm fakes and then you take photos next time so
you could see and then tanning bed after I didn't
tank yesterday.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
I thought that was like the yesterday.

Speaker 6 (03:56):
Did your son go with you?

Speaker 2 (03:57):
He didn't. He hasn't been back yet. I wouldn't need that,
so thank you very much.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
So we heard about Emily's her health journey, which is
going to the gym, but it is.

Speaker 6 (04:08):
The biggest loser with health journeys.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Man, I'm proud. I'm proud of her. I'm so proud
of her. And then I mentioned that, you know, I
may be making some changes as well in the new year.
I don't know why. I know what I'm trying to
I'm trying to get help. I mean, I I you know,
I understand that you know, there's there was there's some
times when you start to eat really bad, and you know,

(04:31):
especially get to around the holidays. You know it's not good.
So yeah, I felt I felt kind of shitty after
the holidays and you know, eating maybe a donut or
too too many or a dozen too many, to many,
And so I go, listen, man, I got I gotta
figure this out, you know, I gotta, I gotta start
making some changes in my life. And so again I said,

(04:51):
I'm not making a resolution. I'm not saying I'm never
going to eat a donut again. I'm never going that's unrealistic.
It's unrealistic. Joy, But I do you think there are
some changes that I can make here and there just
to make it better. And it's really about what you eat.
The or I always says you can out run a
bad diet. So that's what I'm about. And so have

(05:12):
I mixed in a little bit of exercise. Yeah, wow,
I don't even know what that means. I don't know
what that means. No, no tanning. Tanning, that would be nice,
but no. And of course you're going to change what
I eat. And so I've been trying to, uh, you know,
make a few changes here and there, you know, like

(05:32):
do I need to cook with butter? Or can I
cook with olive oil? Just small things, small things. And
like I said, I mentioned to you guys that once
you start, uh, finding some health stuff online, then you're
gonna get inundated with health stuff on your feet. And
so that's all I'm seeing now is like, this thing's
good for you, this thing's good for you. This avoid

(05:52):
this avoid and I'm like, oh okay, it's getting in
my head. And so I'm like, all right, I gotta
you know, I gotta first of all, chill out because
I'm starting to think about this too much. But then
I'm like, okay, but I can I try mixing in
some of the stuff here and there, especially in the morning. Yes,
I can. And so today is day one of this
new concoction that I saw online that I'm like, I'm

(06:15):
gonna start. I guess I'm gonna start eating from time
to time.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
And this is a health bomb in a bowl. And
this thing is fucking crazy. Get ready, guys. Oh my god.
So I wasn't sure if I was gonna like it
because I've always heard about these overnight oats and I've
seen them, you know, we've had them in different broadcasts

(06:40):
we do and just sounds gross to me. Cold oatmeal, Yeah,
it doesn't. Well. Most overnight oats you do them overnight
and you just kind of eat them. You could, but
I've a time I've seen their serve cold. Yeah, and
so that's gross to me. And so I'm like, yeah,
I'm good. You know, I'm never going to go down
that road. But then I saw this recipe and it

(07:02):
is over nine oats mixed with Greek yogurt, mixed with
chia seeds, add a little bit of add a little
bit of honey for sweetness, you know, nature sweetener, and
then if you want some berries, go for it, get crazy,
get crazy, and you mix it all together and then

(07:23):
there you go. There's your breakfast. And I and I'm like, huh,
I like most of those things kind of on their own.
Could I do this? And this thing is, you know,
it's as healthy as you could get. The oats great
for for your gut Health's great all about gut health.
And oats I feel yep, make you feel you know,

(07:44):
you're full. Uh. The Greek yogurt is you know, fantastic
for you. Uh. The chia seeds are like the one
of the biggest superfoods out there. Gia seeds are supposed
to be like crazy good for you. And then and
then you have the honey, which again you're not using
sugars or anything like that. Again Nature's And then you
have the berries, which the antioxidants. Don't get me, don't

(08:08):
get me started.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
I won't.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
The blueberries, the raspberries, forget about. Shove them, shove them
right breakfast. So again you mix it all together and
there there you go. And so I'm like, all right,
day one, I gotta try this mixed it up. There
was a little bit of a debate last night on
how to make overnight notes, and me and Deborah neither
one of us know what do you use to make them?

(08:34):
Do you use milk? Do you use water? You can
use yogurt. It's so many.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
My wife has been doing this overnight oat trend. So
I'm sure she saw it on fucking Instagram, like Eddie
just did.

Speaker 6 (08:45):
And it's so fucking annoying because she's putting the baby down,
and I'll get.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
A text, hey, hey, because you put the crock pot
on warm for me?

Speaker 6 (08:59):
Thanks?

Speaker 1 (09:00):
What is so bad?

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (09:06):
It all on the crock pot. You could you put
it on a warm for me? Thanks?

Speaker 1 (09:10):
Oh my god?

Speaker 6 (09:11):
All right, what real did you see that? In what
you would? You would?

Speaker 2 (09:14):
Addy?

Speaker 6 (09:15):
Best friends break?

Speaker 1 (09:17):
We're on a health journey together, and so I mixed
it up, brought it in and today's day one. And
I gotta tell.

Speaker 6 (09:26):
You not bad, not bad, good, It's not bad. Listen.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
I mean when you hear something like that, does that
sound good to you? I mean my clamorcake, you know,
could you can't use maple syrup? Oh no, it was
really good.

Speaker 6 (09:42):
Okay, let me ask you a question.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
I like protein pancakes. I like protein waffles, that kind
of stuff. Well, you get behind a protein pank.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Big protein guy. I'm not on the protein cake.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
But but but that's loaded with protein.

Speaker 6 (09:57):
But that's a high.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
That's but protein pank cakes are You're still you still
got pancakes is not great, but you get the protein
that helps make it.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
Better, health, healthier version of pancakes. So you eat stuff
like that, I've never had it before, usually when.

Speaker 6 (10:09):
I spit in my face stupid.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
So that's why accurate.

Speaker 6 (10:14):
It's not accurate. It's not accurate. So would you go
down that.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Rot on this health journey? I'll try it, you know?

Speaker 6 (10:22):
Why not?

Speaker 2 (10:23):
Question?

Speaker 5 (10:24):
I am love my fart eggs that I make right now,
egg whites, egg whites. I made a scramble with egg
whites and super greens, and it's kale, mustard, spinach.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
Kale spinach, great superfoods.

Speaker 5 (10:41):
Great superfood Okay, all right, and then I steeped and
I made my own homemade black beans from black from
dried black beans that I cooked.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
So I'm eating that with a little scoop of cottage
cheese right now.

Speaker 6 (10:52):
You try that sounds fucking so disgusted.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
I would rather eat that. Sounds I would rather that.
He's false. Let's make that happen. Let's make that happen.

Speaker 4 (11:06):
I'm just saying, gross, my god, oh my god.

Speaker 6 (11:11):
Pancakes are one thing. What you just said is disgusting.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
But sounds better than that. Sorry, I would you would. Okay.
So I know how good this is for me, and
so I'm gonna mix it in from time to time,
just gonna switch it up, try to eat it, you
know whatever. And so I recognized that my friend's guy
is a health mess. Okay, she went and had her

(11:39):
blood done, and I mean it is fucking off the charts,
how bad her blood work was. And so she comes
in here and yeah, my blood work, complaining about it. Meanwhile,
she crushes a fucking bagel every single day, which is
literally one of the worst things you could eat. That
thing is loaded with carbs, loaded with sugars. Oh, I know,

(12:00):
I getting a loaf of bread every day.

Speaker 4 (12:01):
They say one bagel is the equivalent to seven slices
of bread.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
So you know that, why do you continually eat them
every day?

Speaker 6 (12:11):
Right?

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Okay, So then don't complain about your terrible blood work.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
Yes, I bet you bagels.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
Yeah, And so you know, you know you have to
make some changes if you want that blood work to change, right,
And so I was like, Scott, this super breakfast that
I'm having on my health journey is terrific. It's good.

(12:44):
The honey is is where it's it's everything, and so
I mean, honestly, it doesn't That's mainly what I taste
is honey. It's the overall flavor profile of my dish.
And so I'm like, do me a favor, take a
spoon full, just try it, because if this is what
you need to be eating, and I have eaten that

(13:05):
in the past. I used to never in my life
anything like.

Speaker 4 (13:09):
Overnight oats with hemp seeds and honey.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
When was the last time you did that? Like eight years?

Speaker 4 (13:15):
Okay, I don't don't It's not like you.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
Need it now. You need it now. I'm trying to
save your life.

Speaker 4 (13:24):
Okay, I don't want you to save my life.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
Guys like that guy you don't want to chloresterol is
so high it was coming through his pores.

Speaker 6 (13:32):
Let's write.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
I mean that guy only ate like butter for your
glissies are coming through you.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
I look at you eating that bagel. I'm like, is
this a cry for help?

Speaker 6 (13:42):
It is?

Speaker 2 (13:42):
What is wrong with this bagels?

Speaker 1 (13:45):
Like she's gonna die?

Speaker 6 (13:46):
The equivalent of me like starting to do crack.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
I don't think And you know what I would step
in and say, bro, hey, stop the crack, eat some
overnight oats.

Speaker 6 (13:55):
I would do it.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
You know you would do it.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
Put in the middle of a crack the same thing.

Speaker 6 (14:01):
Don't think any of this guy's halloween you cheddar bagel
is the crack?

Speaker 2 (14:05):
Kay?

Speaker 1 (14:05):
For her?

Speaker 2 (14:06):
It is?

Speaker 1 (14:07):
It's delicious, But why you join me?

Speaker 6 (14:10):
You know who doesn't think it's delicious? Your doctor?

Speaker 1 (14:14):
You know what else doesn't think it's delicious? Her body.

Speaker 4 (14:18):
I got some bad DNA.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
Okay, it's not just DNA. Look at how you eat.
It doesn't help. You can't outrun a bad die trying
to help, to help, ladies.

Speaker 4 (14:32):
You're disgusting ass turning a bowl.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
How would you know you haven't tried it.

Speaker 4 (14:37):
It's stinking up the room. I can smell the yogurt.
It's smell I can't. It's gross delicious. I didn't even
know there were oats in there. It looks all creamy
and weird. So uh, you can take that and shove it.
I enjoy oat meal. I enjoy berries. I will eat
them at night.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
I've never seen you eat anything other than a bagel, Oh, pretzels.
Those are the two things I've ever seen. That's the
only thing I've ever seen eat When it was the
last time you've eat berries in here?

Speaker 2 (15:08):
Berries?

Speaker 1 (15:08):
Never? Never, I don't never.

Speaker 4 (15:10):
I had an apple in here like in December, and
you all laughed at me because I was dipping it
in peanut butter.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
I've never seen it. Never an apple aint berries man
an apple and all natural peanut. But you know you
should be eating my balls.
