Speaker 1 (00:00):
Do you guys get these texts from time to time
that are kind of like veiled questions and they're numbers
you don't recognize. Yeah, but they're like they act like
they kind of know you, Like.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
You feel like you get a text from a buddy, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
That'll say just something like ask you a question like
what are you doing right now? Or a random one
you know, and you're just like, this is bullshit obviously.
I mean I don't know the numbers so clearly. A second, yeah,
I'm like, who is this? Why are they asking me this?
Or it's kind of it's super specific about something. And
then you go this person like why would they text that,

(00:37):
Like they have to know me? And then you figure
out no, it's probably spam and they're wanting to me
to text back so that they can I don't know,
steal my identity. I don't know how much, but yeah,
this will happen from time to time. Well, Sky just
got one of those right before we were coming on,
and this person clearly doesn't know her.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
We ain't done yet.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
It's time for the one podcast over a year, completely
uncensored and unacting filtered except for that part the party.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Would the show's after show starts.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
Now, yeah, wrong question to ask, guy.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
I mean, if you're trying to get me to respond,
there are certain things that you know, if you know
you us whoever it is, you know that that's probably
not a great question to ask.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:29):
So, and when you guys started getting these texts like like, hey,
you know you want to hang out tonight or whatever
again from a number you don't know, nobody you've ever
texted with before, were you guys immediately suspicious because this
started happening to me like four months ago, and I
was texting everyone.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Back, Oh you weren't that you're not supposed to do.

Speaker 5 (01:51):
So the point where what it was now like a Saturday,
I'm at them all with my daughter and I go,
why do I keep getting all these wrong numbers? And
then I'm typing back, I think you have the wrong number.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Sorry.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
They're sitting there like.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
Lady dude.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
That's how I felt, because literally my daughter the dresses like,
my daughter just starts laughing at me, and I'm like
what and she goes, mom, you know that it's like
a phishing scam. You know, they basically just are trying
to find out if it's an active phone number, so
they can then sell your phone number to other people.

(02:29):
And that's why every time you respond, you're getting more
and more.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
And I just delete and report junk.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Yeah, no, I responding.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
I was responding, And so it was about four months
ago I finally stopped responding.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
And were they right back anything?

Speaker 5 (02:47):
No, But then all of a sudden one will come
in from a different number, and then I'll start getting
like a bunch of weird messages, and so I'm like, Okay,
clearly this is what's going on. So every once in
a while I'll get one now and then I'll look
at my phone be like not getting me.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
How annoying is it that she won't respond to fucking us?

Speaker 3 (03:07):
But she respond to that? About that when I see it?

Speaker 5 (03:15):
If I saw this spam thing hours later, that's what
I respond to them.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
That's what I was respond to them.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Here's if you were at the mall with your daughter,
like you just said, and you saw a text coming
in from thor or from this unknown number, who.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
Are you going to answer?

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Think we know I responded.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
When we get home, Who cares about that guy? Because
that's that'll be in all that'll be a whole thing,
all right.

Speaker 5 (03:39):
So yeah, so they've.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
Really slowed down.

Speaker 5 (03:42):
I figured it out, but yeah, I figured out. I
don't respond now, guys, thank you, thank you. But this
one today I hadn't I hadn't seen before. Just like
Eddie said just a few minutes ago when we ended.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
The show, I wish I could remember the one that
I got a couple of days ago, because I told you, guys,
yeah in here because it was it was it was
so random, and I'm like, I know what you're doing,
but like, man, like I want to answer.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Yeah, I forget what it was because I was like,
you like had something funny to say.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
It was like a great it was a great question. Yeah,
And I was like, man, I really want to answer this.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
I didn't do it. I can't remember what it was. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:13):
So this one I got about fifteen minutes ago. It's
a short one, you guys. You know sometimes we'll be
a little bit lightly. This one is a very short one.
It's from a two to one three area code wherever
that is.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Like is it?

Speaker 4 (04:26):
I don't know?

Speaker 5 (04:27):
Yeah, And the text is quote how about ribs question
mark rips?

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
So first, there's just so many layers to this. I
think so awesome number one. What a dumb thing to write,
because if it's like that's a question you would ask
your wife or husband or significant other or whatever. So
clearly I know it's not him or them or whoever,
like or if it was like I'm planning a party

(05:00):
or whatever and you ask me how about ribs? Okay,
but I would know the number like a random number.
I mean, you're just asking me about And if I.

Speaker 5 (05:08):
Got how about ribs four months ago, I would text back, Oh, sorry,
I think you got the wrong them, like yeah, like
I'm helping them that they got the wrong note clearly
for me?

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Is it a dry rope?

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Ribs.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
That's the other thing, is that is clearly a scam
because anybody that knows Sky knows ribs is not a
question at all.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
She doesn't like meat on the boat, meat.

Speaker 5 (05:40):
On the boat, No meat on the boats, ribs. And
if I go somewhere and it's only ribs, I'm knife
and forking and I don't care if you're looking or
judging or whatever. Oh yeah, I'm not getting that stuff
under my nails.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
It's like gross.

Speaker 6 (05:57):
So yeah, so you'll peel an orange. Yeah, but that's Eddie, Eddie.
That's a nice small, that's nice smell.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
You wash people like barbecue sauceca.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
You wash, you wash your hands, You go to the bathroom,
wash your hands look good. We have to wash them good. Yeah,
but with an orange, you don't have to go to
the bathroom and wash your hand. But I don't want
to stick on my hands.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
Well, how do you, guys?

Speaker 3 (06:21):
Oranges? You get a while just squashing them with your hands,
But you're gonna get it a tiny bit.

Speaker 5 (06:26):
That citrus is nice.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
You never wash your hands. And how are you digging
your fingernails into them?

Speaker 5 (06:31):
You can hold them like this, yeah, but those those
four fingers that you're holding your stop.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
I can't.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
Will you stop?

Speaker 5 (06:39):
I don't, I won't do it. God, bad fishing text.

Speaker 7 (06:44):
It's funny that you mentioned this fishing text thing. I
actually had this happen to me, and I don't think
I've told you guys this, And it happened in November,
and a happens to me.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
I tell everybody, especially you three, and you talk about
on the air. This happened to me, and I can't
believe I never said anything.

Speaker 7 (06:58):
So we were in the hospital, my baby was born,
and then after he was born, we were home for
one day and then my wife, Hayley, got postpart in preclamsia,
so we had to go back to the hospital. So
I think that's why I forgot to tell you. We're
in the hospital for the second time, and things are
getting a little crazy and like she's on her magnesium
drip and everything's going on. And then like it's like
the second day that we're there and things are kind

(07:20):
of starting to turn around and get a little better,
but it's still like a blur, right, yeah, And I
get a text from a number I don't recognize, and
I'm not in a fucking mood because the second time
we were in the hospital, the nurses base were everyone
was super nice, but they basically said, hey, we'll do
what we can, but legally, your wife is the one
that we're here for.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
We can't help your patient.

Speaker 7 (07:39):
Your baby's not patient anymore, so we're not really it's
basically all you unless something crazy. So I was trying
to kind of tired, it was whole thing. So I
get a text from a number I don't recognize, and
the text says, please send me your online money account
so I can send you some meal money for ordering
food in okay, and as a number, don't recognize the number,

(08:01):
and I just go, you know what, fuck this?

Speaker 2 (08:04):
So I write back, how about you go fuck yourself?

Speaker 3 (08:08):
Oh okay, Well, first of all, why are you are
you skypond? It's crazy?

Speaker 2 (08:15):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
I wasn't.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
And it bothered you that much. I mean, what a
crazy response.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
I was not in a good move.

Speaker 7 (08:27):
My wife has this magnesium d baby was crying.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
I get that's that's ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
I right back, how what is it though? Fuck these scammers, man?
But I mean, this is what they want, So I
right back yourself.

Speaker 7 (08:41):
The person rides back, sorry, this is Cat Hayley's Washington
horse friend, and then sends me a picture of her
and we just had her over our house a month earlier.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
It wasn't a scam though, was friend? Oh so that
she was? What you did? Have that stupid meal train
thing going? Is that what that throw? I guess?

Speaker 2 (09:04):
So who ship, dude? So she writes, not a scammer,
and I go, Kate, oh my god, I'm so so
so so sorry, Please forgive me. She I just wanted
to just sent some money to dude.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
That's incredible
