Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, guys, I don't know if me and Jamie are
meant to be concert buddies like concert bros. I don't know.
I don't know. It just didn't It didn't feel like
we were on the same page, same vibe I was.
I was thinking we would be, but it didn't really
look like it was right. I don't know exactly what

(00:22):
was going on, but uh, Jamie got to witness me
in full concert mode and he didn't like it. We
ain't done yet.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
The podcast over a year, completely uncensored and uncting filtered,
except for that part the show's after show starts.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Now, what a shock that me and Jamie would be
so different at concerts. Didn't see it. You know, we're
so we're so close in age.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's weirds of similarities.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
You too, Yeah, but Jamie, listen, Jamie goes to a
lot of shows because he's young. You know, he could
stay up late. It's not my vibe anymore. When I
was his age, same thing, man, I'd go to every show.
It was great, But I pick and choose my battles. Now,
all right, I can't do it. I just can't do
it anymore. And so I knew of This one was
one I didn't want to miss, which was the big

(01:20):
Alter Ego show up in Los Angeles, and it was
pretty kick ass with Green Day and Sublime and twenty
one pilots and it was just one I was like,
I really want to go, Plus my daughter wanted to go,
so made a whole day of it, night of it.
It was pretty kick ass.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
Yeah, but, like as you said, is aging. I think
in addition to the awesome lineup, there were other things
that went into factor.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
The fact that if my daughter didn't want to go,
I doubt I would have gone.

Speaker 5 (01:44):
Well, the fact it was a Saturday night that helped you.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
Yes, if it was any other night of the week,
I don't know if you would have gone a Friday night,
Sunday night, like yeah, so a Saturday night nails it.
That's like this is part of my criteria too. And
also seats like I used to be the girl who
would take any concert ticket.

Speaker 5 (02:03):
You put me in the pit, you put me in
the lawn, like whatever, as.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Long as I'm in. It was Day on the Green,
I was in the.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Guns and Roses Metallica Day on the Green to.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Yeah, follow You, Yeah.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
Thank You. I No. Fourteen No, that's gross.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
I think I was like fifteen that was that. It
was bad ass, But now I am no longer bad ass.
So it must be on a Saturday night, and I
must have a seat as well, because I'm not standing.
I'm not standing for an entire answer anymore. Sorry, I'm old,

(02:55):
I'm lame. I get it, but that's just how I concert.

Speaker 6 (02:58):
Now, I'm going to g a concert on Thursday night.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
You know you worked the next day, right, Who is it?

Speaker 6 (03:08):
The run arounds?

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Of course, Lemon Drops and Sandals is the headliner.

Speaker 4 (03:14):
Though, okay for the run around, that's your made up band.
That's not a real that's not a real band.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Well, Jamie and I were not on the same page
immediately because when I walked up, I had credentials and
little Jamie here, you did you get some credit? Didn't make?
Didn't make and so he was very jealous of me.
Get that cool lanyard? Got credit down, Madi?

Speaker 5 (03:41):
Come on, did your.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
Daughter get one? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:46):
That probably included on that. Sorry about that, sweet ghosts.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
So you and your daughter Taylor were back there hanging
out with Green Day and Jamie wasn't.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Me and Bill Joe. It was a fun time we
had a we had a blast. Sorry, Jamie sad.

Speaker 5 (04:06):
Did you try and score one or did you just know?
No hope?

Speaker 6 (04:08):
At that I just kind of accepted it. Yeah, it
was too late to print one out with my name on.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
Yeah, they don't have printers.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
There's not gonna happen. It's not gonna happen. So yeah,
he was a little off put by that. And then
when the music started to kick up. We just had
different vibes, man, and I think my vibe Jamie was
not used to. You've never seen me at a concert.
So that was your first experience of concert, Eddie? And

(04:36):
what what? What part of it did you not enjoy?
You're just a little a little boring. I'm boring.

Speaker 5 (04:43):
I'm boring.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Hang on, there's different vibes for different banks.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Yeah, there's different Yeah, like concert with Eddie, this is
a long concert.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
So like Eddie and I went to the Iard Music Festival.
We did forgot what year it was, but it was.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Y and I were sitting together. You weren't there the
whole time. I don't remember where you were.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
Yeah, I left like right after. Who was it was
a Backstreet Boys or.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
I thought when it was Backstreet was just me and you. Yeah,
we were. We were locked in.

Speaker 5 (05:12):
Yeah, Edie, where else your biggest I don't know what.
Oh yeah yeah, I left and machines.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Like you're going to the ampitheater.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
I thought this was pre Scouy's gambling addiction where you
play a little bit but not a lot.

Speaker 5 (05:24):
I've always had a gambling addiction really, So.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
Yeah, Britney Spears was like the headliner, and then she
raw Backstreet Boys and Eddie and I went crazy. So
and then Eddie also Eddie and I also enjoyed twenty
one Pilots and they were there and was there. But
then there was other bands where Eddie and I both
kind of were just like whatever, I was a couple
of I'm not going to be in every band.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
It was like a country guy. We didn't care about
a couple of cyrus. I didn't care about See it
was awesome.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
See it was great. Eddie and I were dancing for
that too.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Scott.

Speaker 5 (05:51):
You were there, Yes, I was there.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
I don't remember. I don't remember.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
Pilots was coming out. I was right there with you
the pool party during the day and you.

Speaker 5 (06:03):
Ran into the Bachelor people.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Yeah you're there that.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
I guess there's pictures of the three of us outside.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Of the remember you there. I don't remember you at
the concert. That was me and Thorpe.

Speaker 6 (06:16):
Okay, you didn't leave this one halfway through.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
I didn't leave that anyone through halfway through. I don't
know what you're talking about it, and so we were
you were you know, just uh you know again, different acts.
It just feels different, and so what you know, Like,
there was a couple of bands like Mount Joy. I
don't know anything about Mountjoy and so were they good? Right?
But they were kind of like a lower vibe and

(06:40):
I sat down for Mountjoy. I'm not standing up for Mountjoy.
I don't know that.

Speaker 5 (06:44):
I probably would too. I'm always up, but like for
a band that I don't really Yeah, if.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
I don't know the lyrics to your songs, I'm not studying.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Oh, that's that's why I don't go to a lot
of live shows. I only go to the live shows
I know lyrics, because that's how you have to sing.
If I can't sing, I'm not going. You're un comfortable
watching Thank You, I'm uncomfortable just going.

Speaker 5 (07:02):
I don't want to stand next to you at a concert.
Well you singing you.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
Apparently you didn't because you were there.

Speaker 5 (07:07):
Yeah, I was there. I was there at the show, so.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
There was definitely some acts that I was sitting. That
makes me boring. You You you were standing the entire time.

Speaker 6 (07:19):
We were in the middle of Cage the Elephant, and
you're just kind of sitting there staring off into space.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Oh well, there was only like three songs of Cage
the Elephant, I know, and so the songs I didn't
know got to take a break.

Speaker 5 (07:31):
Oh rest those dogs, and then and.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Then bands I don't know got t break and then
bands I knew.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
That's what you say, do you because I'll do this,
Do you attempt the first part of the song and
then slowly sit down.

Speaker 5 (07:46):
I'll do That's what I'll do.

Speaker 4 (07:47):
I'll be like, you know, hit hit, and then oh,
but then I don't want to aggressively sit down, so
I'll stand for the first couple of notes and then
I just kind.

Speaker 5 (07:55):
Of slowly or you're just you just know, I don't
know this song. I'm sitting.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
I know my limits. You gotta take a break, and
so you know, I'm not I'm not fourteen or whatever
all the old Jamie is, and so you know, I
don't got it in me. I mean, this was a
five hour show man, so I gotta I gotta take breaks.
I gotta take breaks. And so you know this guy,
you know, is up doing weird stuff the entire time,

(08:20):
doing this fucking.

Speaker 5 (08:20):
Guy, what do we got going on?

Speaker 1 (08:22):
No, he does. First of all, he does whatever his
girlfriend tells him to do. This little bitch right now,
basically Jamie is her muse like like no, no, weirdly enough,
and so like she's constantly taking pictures and filming.

Speaker 6 (08:41):
She's attached to camera.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
Yeah, it's it's non stop. You notice that, Like she
I don't even think she was watching the show, She's
just filming.

Speaker 5 (08:48):
You ever had to talk about it, like, hey, can
you put down this?

Speaker 1 (08:55):
I'm with him the whole time.

Speaker 6 (08:56):
Okay, in the moment, I know, it's just like okay,
just do your thing. And then afterwards, I'm like, so, like,
we're gonna not do the camera.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
Today, you speak, Yeah, I'll do it in the middle.

Speaker 6 (09:12):
Like we'll go to like Disneyland and she'll be like,
take a picture of me.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
I'm like, we're in the middle of running to a
ride right now.

Speaker 6 (09:17):
No, we're not taking a picture right now.

Speaker 5 (09:21):
She's doing with the footage that she's taking of you,
because does.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
She post it not all the time.

Speaker 6 (09:26):
She's one of those people where she'll like, she wants
everything for memories, so she's not she'll post a bunch
of stuff, and then she'll also just have stuff in
her camera like Emily, Yeah.

Speaker 5 (09:37):
I got everything in my camera.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
So so all those videos of you singing are just
gonna live in her phone. Probably we don't get to
see those. Definitely not. The camera can the phone on
him and he'll turn and put the camera went on

(09:59):
fucking the entire show. Yes, it was, Yes, it was not.
During Mount Joy it wasn't. No, well, okay, you got
me there. Everybody took a break during Mountjoy's Mountjoy. It
was Mount Break.

Speaker 5 (10:16):
This guy sweet leather jacket.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
Of course, of course he's got that. He's not a
rock show man.

Speaker 6 (10:25):
Do we wear that jacket almost every concert?

Speaker 1 (10:28):
Jacket? Okay? What else was I doing that you didn't like?

Speaker 3 (10:31):
I thought it was funny when he was playing the
bass at the air base. That was hysterical.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
That was funny. I felt a little bad for Tailor.

Speaker 6 (10:36):
You could tell you he's a little uncomfortable.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
We listen Pilots is two guys, okay, one guy plays
the bass, one guy plays the drugs.

Speaker 5 (10:47):
Jack and Steve close, what is it?

Speaker 1 (10:51):
Ralph and Mick their normal names their normal Yeah, I
don't remember what they are, okay, but UHL and Josh,
I mean, how closely? How closer? Really good? Married to
Debbie Ryan was Debbie Oh from uh She's.

Speaker 7 (11:13):
From Disney Channel.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
She was in like one of You Young. She was
one of those shows what Wizards of Waverley Place.

Speaker 3 (11:19):
But the fact that Emily watched I love that.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
I watched my friends friends. Oh, she's on bunked.

Speaker 5 (11:31):
She wasn't, but she was on the other way bunked with.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
The spin off of hers. So anyway, twenty pilots just
a bass guy and a drum guy. And so if
you're listening to a bass guy, you gotta la.

Speaker 7 (11:48):
I'm embarrassed right now, Jamie's girlfriend started recording you.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
No, she was like horrified, honestly, she wouldn't even look
at me. And I'm like, you're.

Speaker 6 (12:08):
More appropriate if you're slapping the bass thing a part
there was actual bassa.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
That's not true. That's I'm sick of your lives. I'm sick.

Speaker 6 (12:20):
It was a part of Heathens where he's just singing
and it's the drum beat in the back.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
That's not true. You're slapping, slopping. You gotta slap at
the bass when you hear.

Speaker 5 (12:33):
You know, younger people don't even know what that.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
I don't care. What is that from? Oh jeez, I
love you man, Come on, dude, movie slap so if
I if I ain't see a guy who's doing bass,
I'm slapping the base. So I don't see what the
problem is.

Speaker 5 (12:53):
I don't no consideration though about your daughter or No.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
I don't even understand what you're talking about. Embarrassing first,
she could have done it to No, I don't have
brought it up here.

Speaker 5 (13:03):
That's not what we're saying.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
Slap the bass high, slap high. You know it doesn't
know anything about bass.

Speaker 6 (13:11):
I played bass.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
Multi's breaking news of that. That's breaking news. Did your
girlfriend film it? Actually she did care
