Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, whenever Emily has a little something extra to do
in her day and her day that is outside of
her normal, she kind of flips out a little bit.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
Worst night.
Speaker 3 (00:14):
Are you talking about the scrimmage she's going.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
To after.
Speaker 4 (00:22):
That?
Speaker 1 (00:23):
With the number on it?
Speaker 3 (00:27):
Your team?
Speaker 1 (00:29):
Is that your last name? Number?
Speaker 3 (00:30):
Ninety five? Team Nike? Okay, okay, my bad, not a
scrimmage guy, thank you?
Speaker 1 (00:38):
All right? So yes, when Emily has like a doctor's appointment,
or she has, you know, to go do something with
her dad or whatever. I mean, it is like the
end of times for her, Like she just Emily's perfect
day is well if she didn't have to work.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
Yeah, days waking up at home and exactly stop that.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
In a work perfect work day. Okay, go to work,
go home, eat a little something, take a nap, get up,
do stuff, maybe run some errans, come home, cook TV, bed,
that's it. Nothing else. But the errands are fun things
(01:19):
for her, like shopping shouse.
Speaker 5 (01:23):
Thank you for saying, going to Cool's drop off an
Amazon package. That's fine.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
That's like not bad, it's moving because then you can
look around to that's that's Emily. That's Emily's perfect me.
But she loves that so you throw something extra in there,
Like yesterday she had a doctor's appointment. I mean, listen,
look at her. I mean it's and it was Tory
Pines got thirty. I heard about this all day yesterday.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
It was like thirty.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
Well, today is wildly different because we have to hear
about Emily's hot lunch. We ain't done yet. It's time
for the one podcast over yet, completely uncensored and unacting
filtered except for that part the party.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
The show's after show starts now.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
Now for a normal person, a normy uh having lunch plans,
it's kind of fun, and.
Speaker 6 (02:25):
I like good lunch plans. That's normally where I make
my plans. Like if I have a girlfriend who's like, oh,
let's get together, normally I'll do lunch because in my mind,
we're working right, we're wrapping up a little bit before lunchtime.
I can go straight to the lunch, and then after
the lunch, I'm going home and locking it down. But
(02:45):
to go home, but to go home and go back out,
I don't want to do that. That's why I feel
lunch plans are perfect.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
Your nap schedule, though, is wild.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
Yeah, I'm very different from you guys, us.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
When we get home, we have to nap. You can
nap at four o'clock in the afternoon, which is insane.
Speaker 5 (03:06):
Way, Like, if I don't nap by one, then I'm
not done. I just say, okay, it's a no nap date.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
Yep, I agree, that's it.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
Yeah, not me. Like my cutoff time is like four.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Pm, which is crazy crazy, Well, just go to bed, honestly,
Like what the hell, I'd.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Rather not, like not nap and than be super tired
and like go to early.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Yeah, I agree, No, so nap. I would not want
lunch plans either, like I've I've scheduled appointments and things
like that after two o'clock. That's what I do because
it's easier for me to go home, get that nap in,
and then I'll go out and do whatever.
Speaker 6 (03:36):
Oh no, once this fucking bra comes off, bron't come
back on.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
No.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
No, I if I'm going out after, you're going to
be so yeah. So different people, different schedules, But for me, I.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
Love good lunch, Okay, Emily does not feel the same way.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
Hate them.
Speaker 5 (03:54):
I'll do doctor's appointments sometimes.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
At like eleven, just because you want to get it over.
Speaker 5 (03:59):
Yeah, And then I cruise by and then I'm home
by twelve, just in time for my nap.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
There it is, but like that's that's that's.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
Where I lie. Okay, yes, well today is going to
be wildly different because Emma, she's cry in fact, you
probably should be heading up pretty soon. I'm just saying, Shot,
I don't know what you're mad at before you made
the plan. Not me, I know. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
Why do I agree to these things?
Speaker 5 (04:22):
Because I was trying to be a good partner, yes,
and a good friend sort of what's going on today today?
Is one of our good friends who's also Robert's boss,
and he's very close.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Keith's pretty much Robert's best friend. It is they do
everything together.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
Like everything on another level.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
She told me to be that way. It's a little too.
Speaker 5 (04:43):
Much everything together, work together, they work out together, they
run together.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
When does it end?
Speaker 5 (04:48):
And so they Yeah, so it's Robert's best friend and uh,
they're really, like I just said, working out together a
lot like that's they're on this whole fitness journey.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
Right now together.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
Speak on it. Bro.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
It's pretty wild, a pretty hardcore.
Speaker 6 (05:01):
Like wow, Eddie, are you upset? You weren't invited for
the fitness journey. I know you've been focusing on your gut.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
Health and good questions.
Speaker 6 (05:08):
Do you want to be in the crew with Robert
and Keen. You're on your own journey then separate journey.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
Oh yeah, individual.
Speaker 5 (05:17):
And that's that's the journey I've been. I've been on
my own journey, journey, solar journey. I was kind of
invited to be a part of their journey, but I
want nothing to do with the journey I want to do.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
I'm on my own.
Speaker 5 (05:28):
Yeah, They've invited me many different times. And then I'm good.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
I'm good.
Speaker 5 (05:32):
I'm good at with my little program I've talked on
I think on the Pewan podcast even that I'm going.
I'm trying to work out a little bit. So I've
been going a couple of times a week and I'm
still going. But I like going to my little Planet
Fitness that's right by my house.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
That's basically.
Speaker 5 (05:48):
And then basically basically, but I'm not committing to anything big.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
But so they're on their own little journey.
Speaker 5 (05:54):
And today is Keith's birthday, and so it was two
days ago that Robert pitched this idea of me and
said Griffy's. Hey, Griffy's, do you want to go with
us to celebrate Keith's birthday?
Speaker 1 (06:10):
Chuck cheese?
Speaker 2 (06:11):
Where we're going? Got a great band?
Speaker 1 (06:16):
I could do what it makes sense.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
He doesn't even have his own quarters. He's fine. I
give him with your kids too quick.
Speaker 5 (06:27):
This is all we have. Wow, I could actually see
that hundred and I go, I go, well, what's up?
Speaker 2 (06:33):
Like, what are you?
Speaker 5 (06:34):
What are what are you guys gonna go do for
Keith's birthday? Because he's saying it was sometime during the day,
and he tells me, and he tells me this grand
plan that he's gonna go with Keith and Keith's wife Holly,
and their kid, their son, and then their son's friend
and they're all going to go in the middle of
the day to day to go to this fancy athletic club,
(06:57):
a place like I think Thor even used to work
out at. Are going to go to this fancy athletic
club downtown to go spend the day.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Now, I guess Keith at the gym.
Speaker 5 (07:06):
At the gym, Keith, I guess has a membership here,
and so Keith works out there sometimes. And I guess
it's like there's a pool, there's a hot tub, it's
the one overlooking pec Co Park. There's like a cold plunges,
there's saunas, there's steam rooms.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
Like I guess it's a whole thing.
Speaker 1 (07:20):
So you can make kind of a day out of it.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
I think, so okay, I think.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
So they're not working out right?
Speaker 5 (07:28):
Well, no, I think it is with the intention to go, Okay,
all meet up, go together, get there, work out, do
the cold plunge, do the steam room, do the crowd therapy,
go sit by the pool in the sun. Because it's
going to be a nice day. Maybe order up some lunch,
hang out, and that's going to be the whole day.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
What a wild plan.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
Wow, wild plan.
Speaker 5 (07:52):
And so I was told this and immediately two days
ago I go like, well, I didn't say this to
Robber because I don't want hurt his feelings, but internally
I said, are you fucking crazy? I would rather jump
off the building fit. I would way rather stab this
and in my eye and go do that. After this,
(08:14):
maybe we're talking a Saturday, Maybe we could talk about it,
like maybe you.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
Did say one time when your birthday fell on a Monday,
but you would rather die than have us treat you
to a lunch.
Speaker 6 (08:24):
We're trying to to Benny Hannah and she said, yeah,
I'd rather die.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
Which is kind of hurtful. But when your friends, okay,
you stand by, you'd rather.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
Stab yourself in the eyeball and go to this.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
All right?
Speaker 2 (08:39):
That was early on too, and I just joined the
show a few years ago. You didn't give a fuck.
That's pretty crazy. Birthday Monday? Oh my god, are you crazy?
Speaker 1 (08:52):
You know today is Tuesday, so it's almost as bad
as you know it's crazy of course, all right, so
you're not going to that so.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
Eternally I'm saying, are you fucking crazy?
Speaker 5 (09:00):
Then politely, because Robert was excited and I'm trying to
support him on his journey, I said, let me think
on it. Also again silently, I'm thinking, I'm just telling
him this and later today or tomorrow, I'm gonna let
him know it's not gonna happen.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
You got scrimmage, you know, yeah, you got the scrimmage.
Speaker 6 (09:18):
Are you thinking, like, okay, in the next day, I'll
come up with like a reason that makes sense. Or
do you just know that in a day you're gonna
kind of just you.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
Know, No, I'm not like you, Skuy. I just I
don't want to If I don't want to do something,
I've got no shame. I worked all morning, We've been
up since four am.
Speaker 5 (09:31):
I've got no problem. I tell everybody in my life.
I know this is my time. I go home and
I have my quiet.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
And he knows this about you. You yeah, absolutely, it's
kind of a crazy ass.
Speaker 5 (09:41):
It really is a crazy ass. But he's like really
excited about it.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
So I told him that.
Speaker 5 (09:46):
Then a day goes by and he kind of floats
it by me again. And for some reason, I get
like this sometimes if I'm kind of like feeling in
a different because I flipped up with my emotions sometimes.
I don't know if you know that, and I I
think it was Actually he called me from work and
I had just gotten back from the gym, and like,
my endorphins are probably how are.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
You feeling good energy?
Speaker 5 (10:08):
He was feeling kind of good, excited, and I said, okay,
I'll go, And immediately I regretted it, but I knew
and he was so fucking excited that I'm gonna go,
and I guess he was. He was next to Keith
and his wife at the time told them and now
they're like his wife. I don't see that often and
I love her. And she goes she was so excited.
(10:29):
She picks up the phone and texts me and I'm
so excited that you're coming. Then I know, fuck, I'm
locked in.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
That sucks.
Speaker 5 (10:40):
Now go back to yesterday afternoon when this is all
flowing to me that I'm gonna need to pack a bag,
I'm going to need to plan ahead, I'm going to
need to.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
Figure all this shit out.
Speaker 5 (10:50):
Then I start spinning even more and my mind starts
going and I start going, oh my god. I remember
every time Thor we talk about going to this gym,
Like not every time, but like I know what goes
on at some of these fancy gyms. Fancy gyms are
next level people. The fancy gyms are a little bit
different than the people that are going to the small
little fitness place.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
You don't house. Yes, I like legitimately there are like
former Bachelor contestants at this gym, like all the time.
That's that kind of a gym.
Speaker 5 (11:20):
It's like Instagram models, influencers, twenty year old Instagram.
Speaker 6 (11:24):
People you've seen on reality shows and Emily and Emily.
Speaker 5 (11:28):
So I'm going to go shower last night and yesterday
last afternoon, and I'm going to go shower and I'm
trying to figure out what I'm gonna wear as well,
and I need to pack a bathing suit for this thing.
Speaker 3 (11:38):
And I go because what do you wear to the
gym that you go to?
Speaker 4 (11:42):
Is it?
Speaker 3 (11:43):
Like is it athletes you wear?
Speaker 2 (11:45):
I would I could wear what I'm wearing right now
to work out in.
Speaker 6 (11:47):
Okay, Yeah, so like a comfy T shirt, like leggings.
Speaker 5 (11:51):
Yeah, but those girls are wearing full two piece sets,
yellow gass booty shorts. Allow, I don't have any alo
the broad top like all that other ship right, yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
Not those Amazon leggings that you have on right now?
Speaker 2 (12:06):
Hey, zip it? Okay, these are soft.
Speaker 5 (12:08):
These are soft like the Lulu Levan. I get it.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
I get it. And so I'm looking at myself in
the mirror and I'm.
Speaker 5 (12:16):
Just like like, okay, I'm.
Speaker 2 (12:19):
Nude at this point, I'm like, I'm not.
Speaker 5 (12:22):
My body since I started working out has gotten, it
has gotten no a smitche better. Oh but it had
after the holidays, it had gotten. You know, I do
a good job at covering myself up. But like I've
got the tummy going. My ass is already flat, so
it was even flabbier than normal. And like all this
stuff going on where I'm just really, really, very very
fucking far from ready to be in a bikini at
a normal place, let alone fucking a beauty patchet.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
Yeah, I'm basically going to Beauty Miss America contest.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
And then I start spinning out about that.
Speaker 5 (12:50):
Then I have to go in there now to shave
my leg, shave everything, you know, all that other stuff.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
Then I get out. So then now I'm spinning on
how to make myself look even better. So I've got the.
Speaker 5 (12:58):
Tanning stuff out, tanning blotches on my arm now because
I'm like, what am I going to do.
Speaker 2 (13:04):
To fluck this up? You want to make this look better?
Speaker 5 (13:06):
Up?
Speaker 2 (13:07):
So I pack on my bag and I go to sleep.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
Oh, you're so sad.
Speaker 5 (13:10):
And first thing that happens when I opened my eyes
this morning, like like when I have stuff going on,
the first.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
Thing, what time did this come into your mind?
Speaker 5 (13:19):
This was one am. Actually got woken up by one am.
Had a tummy ache. Oh no, tummy, it's gone out.
Speaker 4 (13:26):
Nerves today, It was probably fucking nerves because the first
thing I do is think about ah ship, I got
this to do later, and then of course I think
about it again when my alarm goes off before and
so now I'm here, I'm in it, and this.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Is just the most miserable day of my life.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
But the most miserable day of your life.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
Yeah, yeah it is.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
I mean it is really.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
I'm going to be swimming in two hours.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
Do you like to swim too?
Speaker 2 (13:51):
But not on a Tuesday at noon?
Speaker 1 (13:53):
It is February all right, Well that's pretty wild. Listen,
it's a different thing. I don't think it's gonna you
do this every time you kick and you scream and
then you get there and go get you sit. What
does she say every time she does something? You know,
it wasn't really that bad. Actually had a good time.
I actually had fun. Yeah, okay, okay,
