We have chronicled Emily's son, Reed's dating life and he is currently seeing a girl. The first time they hung out was at Emily's house and it looks like it is happening again today. Emily promised the girls mom that she would be home the whole time so the two teenagers aren't by themselves at all. Well, the issue that Emily has is that she will actually need to leave the house to get food for dinner... and she is conflicted with how to go about that knowing that she promised she would be home the whole time...

Speaker 1 (00:01):
Oh, here we go. We've been getting a little bit
of an update on Emily's son Reid's love life. This
kid is unbelievable. I mean, honestly, he's kind of my hero. Okay. Well,
you know, I wish I would have had his game
back in the day when I was fifteen. I was

(00:23):
an idiot. I mean it was awful. I had no
game whatsoever. And so this kid has said I had
more girlfriends than he's got pimples. Now, wow, you know,
I mean, it's fifteen, he's fifteen. You know. So this
kid is he's all over the place, and he's unbelievable
with the ladies. He's a ladies man. Okay. So there's
a new lady in his life. I don't know if

(00:44):
they're Facebook official yet, face or if they're even on Facebook. Okay, okay,
so we're getting there. And so we've heard Emily talk
about how he had her over for the first time
at Emily's house, and of course, Emily's weird. Emily made
it weird, and it was you know, she's being bizarre
about it.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Hall.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
I can't help. But if I have to go to
my bathroom, which passes by his bedroom door.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
When you're done in the bathroom.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
No, no, go do it, don't do it. You did
say that you got the one rule, which is keep
the door open. You know, if they go to their room,
his room, then he's got to keep that door open open,
which I was a little surprised to hear, but you know,
it is what it is. And then we heard that
her mom, You've had a little back and forth with

(01:33):
and she wanted to make sure you were going.

Speaker 5 (01:34):
To be home the entire time when she came over
to visit when she's there, which I think is pretty
wise too.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
And so yeah, yeah, I mean, if my daughter ever
goes over to a boy's house, believe me, I might
go with her. Okay, so it is what it is. Well,
I guess we're having another little date at Emily's house.
But there's a situation we ain't done yet. It's time
for the one podcast.

Speaker 6 (02:02):
A year, completely uncensored and unacting filtered except for that part.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
The show's after show starts.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Now, Okay, this is about to get real weird, real uncomfortable,
real quick. It's Emily. It's Emily. That's all I really
have to say. And you understand that means that it's
you make everything uncomfortable. Okay, so what's going on? What
are we? Are we making cookies again? What are we
doing here.

Speaker 5 (02:33):
By not making cookies again? That's what they did on
their first hangout. It was like last week or something.
They did do cookies. They're all excited about that. She
loves to bake. So clearly he was feeding into that
because he knows that.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Did he have an apron on?

Speaker 6 (02:46):
He didn't have an apron She's a number one woman
in his life now.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Who don't say that? Really?

Speaker 4 (02:51):
I bet you, I bet you. We're only a few
days away from him saying, mom, she's a great cook.

Speaker 6 (02:57):
Really, she's this is these burgers taste like in and
really shot the U.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
I guarantee those cookies were better than anything.

Speaker 6 (03:05):
I guarantee, Field guarantee told her.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
I guarantee.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
You know, he knows how to butter up the ladies,
and he.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Does butter them up.

Speaker 5 (03:14):
He was opening car doors and shutting car doors for her,
all the things he.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Was doing ladies like an asshole.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
Okay, if you only acted that good in school.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
To tell him that, it's crazy I did.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
That's what she likes. She likes the pad.

Speaker 6 (03:31):
She's like, what is this Why are you opening doors
for me? Whisty boy Emily. Emily goes, yeah, call.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
Him, I would do that. I did tell him to
play it cool.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
I told him this, Like he's liked her for like
a month or so, but he's trying to play it
cool and it finally started. Told him, I said to
just play it cool and not fall too hard, and like,
show her how much you want.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Here's what you do.

Speaker 6 (03:53):
Read you take her to the you take her to
the sea wall.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
That's what you that's what you do.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Terrible.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
I didn't do that. He's just we've talked about it.
He just falls. He gets it. He gets too in
too quick, and.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Then I can't catch feels.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
Man catch feels so he can catch fields.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
You know you three months in you got a kid
on the way.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Oh right, whoa, it wasn't three months. It wasn't three months, hey,
and I was twenty six. Just keep it okay, okay,
keep it okay.

Speaker 5 (04:26):
And so I did tell him that, and he seems
to be doing that because he hasn't actually formally.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Asked her to be his girlfriend. Okay, I know that
for a fact. But he did post a photo of
them too on Instagram, so they are in his stories he.

Speaker 5 (04:40):
Posted show official okay and so jeou where's my photo?

Speaker 3 (04:47):
I don't, I don't want to.

Speaker 5 (04:49):
And so today another hangout is happening. Today they're going
to walk home read as a half day of school.
So they're going to walk home from school to our house.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Why they keep coming to our house?

Speaker 6 (05:01):
I don't know what they know everything and and it's anything.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
There's no rules of this.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
About the door.

Speaker 5 (05:10):
I don't know what the deals. All these kids want
to come over to my house. I don't get it.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Read literally so much alcohol.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
There's two reasons there's no rules and hot mom.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
My wife, Hey, and mom's been passed out at any minute.
Do whatever you want.

Speaker 7 (05:23):
May occasionally slash yeah.

Speaker 4 (05:26):
And reccasionally.

Speaker 6 (05:27):
I guarantee Read acts like it's his house, like he like,
everyone's going to my place. I guarantee, I guarantee he's
that kid where it's rules to every want.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
My mom gives cigarettes, little infidel.

Speaker 5 (05:45):
Give me anybody reads offering people white zim widela, you know,
you know.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Cookers.

Speaker 5 (05:58):
He does yell me like okay, that's neither here. But
I did wonder. I was like, go to her house,
go to her. It probably is. To be honest, I'm nothing.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
But that mom was probably watching like a hawk.

Speaker 6 (06:10):
Yeah, probably, Yeah, he can't do whatever he wants to do,
you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
I mean, hey, don't say that. And so today is
the big day. They're going to walk to our house.

Speaker 5 (06:19):
Now I have to go home because I have to
go meet the housekeeper when I get off work. Who's
there cleaning my house? And so I can't stop like
I need to.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
And go to the grocery store on my way home.
And again, I need to see a couple of things.

Speaker 5 (06:33):
I got my heart set on something for dinner, and
so I just want to go get it.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
Whatever it is. It won't be as good as Reads.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Stopes, you don't need to do that.

Speaker 5 (06:45):
And so regardless, I have a couple of things to
do and I can't go shopping on my way home
from work today.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
I gotta go home.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
And so I got to go home and deal with that.
And then pretty soon Read and his lady will wait
be from home and arrun and they're going to be there.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
And that's just line. And so here's my issue.

Speaker 5 (07:02):
I have promised the mom that I will be home
at all times. Right, and I agree with that too,
because I'm nervous. I don't know what the is going
to go on. And I also promised her that the
door would be open, so those two things that I
would keep an eye on them and that that would happen.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
And I did that the first time, and I plan
on delivery.

Speaker 6 (07:19):
I don't again, when I was Read's age and I
had a girlfriend, I don't think my parents ever talked
to the other the girl's parents, unless they didn't tell me.
I just maybe, like maybe once. I don't think they
ever talked.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
Such a different times either. Eventually, when when you kind
of become boyfriend girlfriend, maybe say we're gonna go to
a day trip or like, you know, if there's something
involved in this early, I wouldn't were like.

Speaker 7 (07:47):
Prom both the parents, so they're taking picture.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
Definitely, it's definitely overly involved parents.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
I'd say, good changed.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
I'll give you that.

Speaker 6 (07:57):
I would say over thought about that.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
I don't know about that.

Speaker 5 (08:02):
And so so today they're going to come home and
all that other goods Now, I know she's not going
to get picked up until six o'clock is eve holy,
that's the plan. They gotta get home around and then
I thought he.

Speaker 6 (08:14):
Was playing it cool, I mean fairly let her in
the house like rent, Yeah, yeah, it is.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
A long time. I didn't be that Yeah.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
One o'clock to six, Oh my.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
God, after Reid shows her the the train collection, like
what else? What else about?

Speaker 5 (08:31):
I spend some time with the dirt bike in the garage.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
What was the garbage man's name? Who read loved?

Speaker 1 (08:36):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Oh my god? How the do I not remember his name?

Speaker 4 (08:39):
Francisco?

Speaker 3 (08:40):
Francisco is one of the.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
When comes around, is Reagan introduce her to his new girlfriend.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
He might, he might.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Are over man.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
Little blonde boys growing up.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
He does a little.

Speaker 5 (08:53):
He doesn't chase him now he doesn't chase him down,
and he he was.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
Like a lost dog.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
They might. They must be devastated.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
Yeah, they were superheroes.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
The biggest fan I know.

Speaker 5 (09:03):
Yeah, the best on You had the ed Co hat
and the clipboard and you go, ho, what a cutey.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
So that's not happening. That's not happening. Regardless. It is
a six o'clock pickup, which is whatever. That's fine with me.
Now the Padres come on at five forty.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
The fuck out very fucking excited, a very fair, very
fuck out.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
Right, it's huge.

Speaker 5 (09:25):
But like I said earlier, I am missing some stuff
for dinner time, and so now I'm spending out going.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
What the fuck am I going to do?

Speaker 5 (09:32):
Because I told the mom that I would be there
at all times. Now I need to go to the store,
and but I can't leave them there alone. So I'm
kind of not sure how to handle this.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
I have a couple thoughts.

Speaker 5 (09:47):
One thought is the bad one, which is the evil one,
which I'm not don't think I'm gonna do it, which
is which is do it and don't.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Tell you're gonna do that. I do that.

Speaker 3 (09:54):
I know I'm not going to do that.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Wait, what's going to happen? Ten minutes and you're going
to be longer than ten minutes a lot.

Speaker 4 (10:03):
She'll cook Read a real meal and then he'll get
all excited.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
That's hey.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Now.

Speaker 5 (10:10):
My other thought was I let them stay there in
the room, but I make Read set his phone up
like on his desk or something so you could see
the whole room and face time.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
Make sure something you're not doing that, don't.

Speaker 6 (10:26):
Why don't you just do like uh, like, I don't know,
one of those apps where you can have food delivered.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
Expensive that is she's going to Walmart to get a
deal on I'm not.

Speaker 6 (10:36):
Going to have that Walmart to go or something.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
They do, but it's I don't know if he stood out.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
Paying is going on.

Speaker 5 (10:45):
My other idea was she probably would. My other idea
was having them sit on the front porch or stay
out front girl, so that I could.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
Watch them from my ring camera.

Speaker 4 (10:57):
That was poor girl, Why don't you just go before
you go home?

Speaker 5 (11:00):
Because I don't have There's a bunch of different things
I can't.

Speaker 7 (11:05):
And would be like super embarrassed if you force them
to go to the grocery store with you.

Speaker 5 (11:11):
That was my third idea. Should I bring them with me?

Speaker 7 (11:15):
Because that's kind of embarrassing walk around with them?

Speaker 4 (11:20):
You could show off to read girffing your favorite spot
on earth.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
That Walmart like it's not it's not safe.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
You may prefer her to be I don't think so.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
Maybe does need to break out that reflective vest I'm
just saying, I'm just saying, what are you going to do?

Speaker 7 (11:40):
Well?

Speaker 3 (11:40):
I was hoping you guys would help me here.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
You want to know es, you want to know what
to do.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
I was hoping you guys will don't don't.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Do what I know you're going to do, which is
just go.

Speaker 6 (11:50):
We all know you're I'm not going to say. I'm
not going to say that, don't do five minutes.

Speaker 3 (11:57):
Maybe I'll just do.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
Maybe I'll do I was doing blow at fifteen.

Speaker 3 (11:59):
I didn't start till seventeen.

Speaker 5 (12:02):
Whoa I I put this phone on speakerphone.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
No, maybe not FaceTime, But.

Speaker 6 (12:08):
Guy, what would you do if your daughter Just wrap
your mind around this.

Speaker 4 (12:12):
Your daughter's out of your.

Speaker 6 (12:13):
House and and she has she's with a boy, and
there the mom tells you that she's going to be home,
but then you find out she left to go to
Walmart real quick.

Speaker 7 (12:25):
I wouldn't care for that at all.

Speaker 3 (12:28):
But here's the thing, guys.

Speaker 7 (12:29):
I grew up in a house where it was a
two story house, so we weren't allowed in my bedroom
at all. We had to stay on the living room couch.
And the ship we would do on the living room
couch when my mom would just be in the key
right over there like they were.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
What kind of ship would you do?

Speaker 7 (12:49):
There's hands up, shirts down.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
Paths, and your mom's in the other room.

Speaker 7 (12:53):
Yes, there's other ways to inflict

Speaker 3 (13:00):
About that.
