Speaker 1 (00:00):
So I would think that the gym is one of
the grosser places for like bacteria that well, yeah, I
mean obviously, you know you have people that wipe down
the machines and stuff like that. Right like before you
jump on a machine, do you wipe it down every time?

Speaker 2 (00:16):
That's a good question.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
I probably should, But I wipe it down after I've done,
You've done using it, okay, because because I'm hoping that
somebody wiped it down after that, which I'm sure that
I know. I never thought, yeah, but you do it
whenever when I'm done with the gym. I there's like
wipe stations where they have wipes at lifetime, so I'll
like wipe down my headphones, wipe down my cell phone,
and wipe down my hands.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
But I don't know what to tell you.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
I wipe down those three things and then I go,
yeah every time, and then I wash my hands.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
But then I pick up my son.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
But yeah, that's the gym. I mean, it's one of
the grocery places around. Well, Emily did something at the
gym yesterday that you probably won't believe how gross it is.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
We ain't done yet, it's time for the podcast.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
Yet completely uncensored and unacting filtered except for that part.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
The show's after show starts now.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
All the time, all the time, you know, hanging.

Speaker 5 (01:27):
Out, you know, do her thing.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
That's what she does. What she does. But here's the
thing you need to know about Emily is that Emily
doesn't get grossed out by a lot of things. She doesn't.
I think, like some will fall on the ground, she'll
still eat it. It doesn't it doesn't really affect her.
You know, she'll leave stuff on the kitchen counter, like
you know, like she said something the other day that

(01:49):
I did not react to, but I mean it really
like fucking affected me. She was talking about you guys
were talking about your cats, and she goes, yeah, she goes,
she goes, I do this really cute thing with my
cat where I put the cat on my kitchen counter
and then I put her up and she like hugs

(02:09):
me or some ship. I don't remember. When she said
I put my cat on the kitchen counter, I almost
threw up and I was like, oh my god. Like
the cats, I mean, they walk around in their own
ship and then you're gonna eat off that counter and like,
well like fucking grossed me up. And so, my sweet
it doesn't mat I don't.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
Care what they don't. I don't have to put him
on the counter necessarily. They just go jump on.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
That's madness. So yeah, there's a like she just doesn't
get affected by this stuff. Things don't gross her out.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Now. The mold on it the outside of the give
and then you'll give them mold. Apart to Robert, here's.

Speaker 6 (02:49):
He woke up in the middle of the night one
time and he took a big bite out of the
cheese block like that he used to do.

Speaker 5 (02:55):
And wait, like bit the bit the whole block.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Come on, dude, Yeah, there's this kind of animal.

Speaker 7 (03:00):
You guys don't be So you'll go in there to
like make something and there'll be a block of cheese
with teeth marks in it.

Speaker 5 (03:07):
Correct.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
He wakes up that he wakes up a ship in
the litter box. Yeah, and then walks over the fridge
and grabs the block of cheese.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
He covers it up first.

Speaker 5 (03:16):
Stuff, And I just wouldn't have known about it.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
She wakes up to him scratching the side of the box.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
Yeah, they do that, they do that, but I did.

Speaker 6 (03:25):
I didn't see that one time, and there was mold
on the cheese because I was going to something and
I saw the bite out of it and then.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Make you happy.

Speaker 5 (03:32):
What the do you think? Of course it did.

Speaker 6 (03:34):
Well, that's fucking crazy in the first place.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
I hope it's always stuff out of the garbage. She
doesn't care, she doesn't get effected. Nothing really grosses her up.
That's impressive.

Speaker 5 (03:47):
It's true. You know it's true.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
And you have an iron stomach.

Speaker 5 (03:50):
To I think it's because of that, you know what
I mean.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
It's crazy.

Speaker 6 (03:53):
So raising my son too, like pacifier falls on the ground.
It just barely in the back of his mouth.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Well, I mean a little different. That's abuse. So yeah,
she's not a gal gets very grossed out by certain things.
And so what you did at the gym though yesterday
is pretty nasty. You have to recognize that. Really.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
No, all right, I don't know what happened.

Speaker 5 (04:20):
So I was at the gym yesterday and my go
to I.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Was licking the bench. They okay, I was making a
charcooterie board on one of the weight machines.

Speaker 6 (04:30):
I didn't make sharo to do it, No, it would not.
I was on my go to when I first walk
with the gym. The first thing I do is the treadmill.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Isn't that all you do? No?

Speaker 5 (04:41):
No, I do machines. I do a couple of different
leg press machines.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Do you do the same thing every time?

Speaker 5 (04:47):
No, I kind of change it up for the most part.
It is pretty that it's the same. But I like it.
I'm comfortable with it.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
You need to switch up your body starts to.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
Get used to it.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
I'm just being serious, like you have to like stresh
it out.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
Serious.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
Yeah, this is I always.

Speaker 6 (05:01):
Do the squat machine every time because I want to
work on my ass every time I do. Sometimes I'll
do the pull out, so then it's always consistently squat machine.
Switch it up, But I do, I do, I do,
that's the abs. Sometimes sometimes I'll do the arms machine.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
Is switching it up right now? If you do the
same machine every time you switch, I don't.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
I don't do the machine.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
We got we got it, we got it.

Speaker 7 (05:25):
And and Emily, just so you know now that Thorne
knows this fact, he's going to tell you once a
week you need to switch it up.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
Because when I remember when I was.

Speaker 7 (05:34):
Doing yoga three days a week and he kept telling
me four days a week, you got it.

Speaker 5 (05:38):
You gotta you gotta do I do I do?

Speaker 6 (05:42):
I just like its like arm exercise. I don't just
don't really know what I'm doing, so I don't want
to feel awkward.

Speaker 5 (05:48):
So I'm just get.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Him in there a little plan for her.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
You need me use chatchaprett jeez, okay, chatchy pt there
you go again, so I'll.

Speaker 5 (05:59):
Look into it.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (06:00):
So anyway, I do what I normally do.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Though.

Speaker 5 (06:02):
My very first thing is going on the treadmill.

Speaker 4 (06:04):
Do we warm up first, stretch the legs?

Speaker 7 (06:06):
No?

Speaker 5 (06:07):
I mean sometimes I'll just like kind of stretch it first.

Speaker 6 (06:10):
My power walk power rock on the treadmill when inclined,
are the arms going?

Speaker 5 (06:14):
Yeah, of course they're going. And I put my show
on the treadmill or show on my phone, watch it
while I'm doing it.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
What were you watching it?

Speaker 5 (06:20):
Yesterday?

Speaker 6 (06:21):
Yesterday I was watching Rooster, an episode of Rooster on
HBO Max with Steve Carell.

Speaker 5 (06:25):
Great show.

Speaker 6 (06:27):
And so I set up my phone, I put my
water thing, you know, turn the turn the thing on
and start going slow.

Speaker 5 (06:34):
And then I opened my purse up and get my
earbuds out so I can watch my show and as
it's going as it's going.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
Yeah, that's very crazy.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
You'd think you would put your headphones on first before
you got started it. Like I put my head like
that's I've never seen somebody get on the treadmill, have
it start and then put their headphones.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
That's insane.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
I've never seen that.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
I like, it's just starting. It's very low. It's like,
you know, barely walking it like a two.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Why it's fumbling with something.

Speaker 5 (07:02):
No, I just like doing that as I'm getting ready.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
You liked that.

Speaker 5 (07:06):
I don't know. It's just what I did. I feel
like it's uh, I just get right into it.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
No, but you get right into it if they're already
on when you walk on the treadmill and.

Speaker 6 (07:12):
Press start, I don't I feel we're standing on the
treadmill without it moving.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Well, No, we're not saying. We're saying, put your headphones in,
do your thing, and then start the treadmill.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
Like before I walk on the treadmill or the stand master,
I put my headphones on. Yeah, and then and then
I get on it and press start, and then.

Speaker 5 (07:28):
You already have going what you're going to listen to?

Speaker 6 (07:30):
Yeah, Well I don't want to start the show before
I'm starting walking because I don't want be able to
watch it.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Does it start immediately?

Speaker 4 (07:35):
Sometimes I don't want to process.

Speaker 6 (07:40):
Put my earbuds in. They are the kind earbuds that
are like the rubber ones. They're not like the hard
Apple ones. The Apple one's hard. I don't I've never
had ear what are those called? Yeah, AirPods. I've never
had AirPods.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
Oh okay, so these are.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Like these are the Amazon brand ear pods?

Speaker 5 (07:57):
Well kind of, but they're not the same. Aren't they AirPods? Hard?

Speaker 7 (08:00):
Well, you can get little attachments or they have sport
ones that have the pieces like you're talking about.

Speaker 6 (08:06):
Yeah, yeah, these are like whatever, the j lab ones
nice and like I've put them in, but like, I've
been wearing these since I've been going to the gym,
and I've been going since I think almost January, and
that's all I use. And I hear Thor talk about
like sometimes he doesn't like using those because he worries about.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
Them following an ear guy over there also too. I've
heard that.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
What because you hear from inside your ear and then
on the outer ear right here where I'm pointing my hair,
I kind of where my temple was. There's also sound
that you're supposed to hear, like part of your ear
drum is there.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
It's a fact.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
That's I read it somewhere because and air pods and
stuff like that isn't good for your ears because you
only get up you're only getting a portion of your
ear drum that's hearing the sound you want.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
You want over the ear headphones, so you get the
whole thing.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
That's why for an audio, just for audio.

Speaker 3 (08:59):
That's why those A band headphones that you have when
you they don't go in your ear like like meta headphones.
When you listen, they listen to like the side of
the ear, and it's called spatial sound. You don't need
to hear them inside your ear.

Speaker 5 (09:09):
Somebody did it.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
That's why I always go over.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
The ear headphones anyway. Sorry, wow, because it's not good
for your ear drum. Okay, it's not good for it,
or it is not good listening experience. I've read it's
not good for your ear.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
Drum over time, you're only using half the drum.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
Google it.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
Wow, And then also too, I don't I feel like
there's absolutely no way these things stay in your ear.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
There's no way, Like this is just no way they
stay in your ear.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Well working out. It seems like it would be a.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
Everyone wears that. I don't get it. Yeah, I know, guys.
Husband's out there changing his oil and NonStop.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
He has in all the time.

Speaker 7 (09:48):
And like if I sometimes would like do yoga at
home and i'd have it on my phone, i'd put
them in, I could do full downward dog and those
puppies ain't falling.

Speaker 4 (09:56):
Downward dog, full downward face down, big time.

Speaker 5 (09:59):
Bro. Things are ears. So yeah, well, so I've always
heard talk about that.

Speaker 6 (10:05):
Yeah, they fall off, and I've been like kind of
every time I talks about it, I'm secretly going in
my head like, oh, might have never fallen out.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
Like what an idiot?

Speaker 6 (10:11):
Yeah, granted I'm not like getting gnarly at the gym
and like the same thing every time.

Speaker 4 (10:20):
Yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, You're never gonna hear the end.

Speaker 5 (10:23):
And so yesterday I'm doing my fan start my show.
I'm cruising. I'm on the thing for like fifteen minutes
at this.

Speaker 6 (10:34):
Hey, and so I'm doing that when all of a sudden,
out of nowhere, I'm going and I'm going at like
three point seven whatever that's I.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
Don't know what that means, but okay, is that impressive?

Speaker 1 (10:46):
No?

Speaker 5 (10:46):
No, no, it's just a power walk.

Speaker 6 (10:47):
I'm and all of a sudden, one of my earbuds
falls out of my ear and I don't know why.

Speaker 5 (10:53):
I wasn't doing anything different, and I'm like.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
I was right, I was right.

Speaker 5 (10:58):
I don't turn off the machine.

Speaker 6 (11:00):
Instead, I just stand on each side of the machine
to see if I could see it, like to see
where it went first, and I'm.

Speaker 4 (11:06):
Looking behind turn off the machine and deal with things.

Speaker 6 (11:09):
Off the machine because I didn't want to, like stop,
because I was looking at how many calories I burned
and like my progress, and.

Speaker 5 (11:15):
I wanted to keep that, don't you?

Speaker 2 (11:17):
Or an Apple Watch?

Speaker 5 (11:18):
I had to fit it, but that's for like eighty
year olds, and so I.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
Say, yeah, but you could use that to like for
your calories.

Speaker 6 (11:24):
Yeah, I just don't wear it anymore. But I just
want to see how many calories I burned on the truck.
I just like seeing that and how long I've been
on it and blah blah blah for sure. So I
just put my feet on either side of it and
then kind of I'm looking around first to see if
I could see it.

Speaker 5 (11:36):
And it's like maybe it's right, you know, down behind
the true.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
Hit the treadmillon. Yeah, maybe it flung.

Speaker 6 (11:40):
Maybe it flung where it's like there's a wall kind
of close behind me, so I could be and it's
it's clear area behind me, so easy to see. So
I just looked through that first, and then I looked
next to me to see if it fell there, and
it wasn't anywhere to be found.

Speaker 5 (11:52):
So I go, fuck, I gotta get off this thing
and looking for this year.

Speaker 6 (11:57):
And I'm already like awkward and uncomfortable the gym, and
like think that everybody's looking at me, when they probably
are not, but.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
They're all just wondering why this chick does the same machine.
Oh my god, look at her, she's doing the squats again.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
You do watch porn sometimes that one time I.

Speaker 6 (12:17):
Did watch the show of euphoria that was very unfortunate,
which is I've watched it there since.

Speaker 5 (12:23):
And will I get off for a second.

Speaker 6 (12:25):
It's still spinning, the tread will still on, and I go, fuck,
I need to turn this thing off, like I really
want to her to try to look for this thing.
So I stop it, and I'm hoping that it just
pauses and we'll go back in a minute. So I
get off the treadmill, and now I'm like, oh my god,
like these things are so close together, the treadmills, Like,
how am I even going to find this? So I
first get on my knees, obviously and look at the

(12:45):
very end of the back part of the you know,
the back part of the treadmill. And because I can't
get to the front part because it's all like there's
a line of them and you can't really get around
through them.

Speaker 5 (12:54):
So I'm looking and I don't see anything.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
So I'm like, fuck seventeen ninety nine down the drain.

Speaker 6 (13:01):
Then I get my phone to get my flashlight and
I go under and I think I see it right
by the head of the treadmill.

Speaker 5 (13:08):
How did you get all the way back there?

Speaker 6 (13:09):
No fucking clue because the things going the other way,
So how did it go down and bounce that way?
I have no but it's all the way at the
all the way hey probably. And so then I go
and there's a person over to the left of me.
There's nobody to the right of me, so I can
kind of like sit on that not moving treadmill and
get under there and look It was not pretty.

Speaker 5 (13:31):
It was super fucking difficult. But I had to stick
my hand.

Speaker 6 (13:37):
Under it to feel around to see if it was
what I thought I saw in the darkness, and I'm
feeling fuzz.

Speaker 5 (13:48):
Probably like dust bunnies of hair.

Speaker 6 (13:55):
Picking and feeling stuff. And then I move my hand,
you know, and then I go, oh, I got it.
I found something and it felt like it.

Speaker 5 (14:02):
I grab it out.

Speaker 4 (14:04):
Then there's I pull it out.

Speaker 5 (14:07):
It's my earbud. And now there is dust and some
stuff kind of on it.

Speaker 4 (14:12):
Oh, so many hairs, so many fucking hairs and like
sweaty asked.

Speaker 5 (14:19):
At that point, I get up. I go, hey, hey,
it just came out. Would there be.

Speaker 4 (14:26):
I don't know, it's everywhere.

Speaker 6 (14:28):
And I go back on my not moving treadmill, and
I'm looking at this thing and I kind of am
thinking about what to do, and I just start wiping
it on my shorts.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
Well, I'll get the germs off, what I mean.

Speaker 7 (14:42):
You know, the last time that carpet was probably vacuumed
was before they put the treadmills in, because there's no way,
no not to vacuum like, so whenever that thing opened,
that's the last time that carpet's.

Speaker 6 (14:54):
Been cleaned, so I'm sitting there wiping it off, and
that's when the person that was on the treadmill to
the left of me I'd left since then went to
go at our gym. They have a roll of paper
towels and then the disinvented spray to wipe down the machine.
He's coming back with the with the disinvectant spray and
his roll of paper towels and he's going to spray

(15:17):
as machine down. He had seen what happened, and as
I'm going to put it back in my ear after
lnding it up, No, no, no, he goes, do you.

Speaker 5 (15:25):
Want to wipe this down? You want to wipe that
earbed down? I saw you drop it, and I'm like,
mind your own business, bro, first business. Second of all,
I'm good.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
I put it back yours, and you have an ear infection.

Speaker 5 (15:42):
I don't have an ear. I don't have think He
definitely it was clean. It looked fine. I don't think
ears are clean. Can you see bacteria? Do you have supervision?

Speaker 1 (15:52):
All you did was wipe it off on your short Yeah,
it was.

Speaker 5 (15:55):
Just to wash it.

Speaker 6 (15:56):
I would go get on antibiotics, like right, don't I
don't get and that guy made me feel so awkward,
but he needed to.

Speaker 5 (16:04):
He was he tried to help mind your own business.
I don't need you.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
Well if you weren't doing the same thing.
