Speaker 1 (00:00):
If there is one thing that you need to know
about my friend Thor this guy freaking loves water parks.
He loves him on another level, like he gets crazy
with water.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Is it the slide sensation? What is it about water parks?

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Lying down there?

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Your care in the world?

Speaker 4 (00:22):
Right?

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Hitting the water? Nothing better, cooling off, nice rush, caring
in the world.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
In the world, Well, there is some cares in the
world when it comes to pushing and get running past
little children.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
We ain't done yet.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
It's time for the podcast.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Find yet completely uncensored and unacting filtered except for that part.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
The show's after show starts. Now, I get it.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
I know you love water parks, I know you love
water slides, but you need to chill out, man. So
this has happened before. So do you remember when we
all went to Alanie together. Yeah, And this was at
the time when Reid was littler. I mean he was
like ten eleven years old, and so Reid was going

(01:20):
down water slides and at this at ans the pool there,
they have a.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Pretty big like a madman. I was like, where's this
kid's parents?

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Who knows ship face somewhere? So Reid was walking up
the stairs with his you know little pool tube tube thing.
Well when he was shoved to the side by four
running up the stairs, Oh my god, my god, that's awful.

Speaker 5 (01:52):
Language.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Didn't he come running and tell you, like, hey man?

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Of course, I mean he was dead.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
He was a little guy.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Thorp knocked his ass to the side.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
What the hell is wrong?

Speaker 1 (02:03):
You not only learn the hard way by read, But
there was children that were like waiting in line, and
you pushed to the side.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
But then I think I don't I think Reid did
tell me. But then also Thorn did tell Thord told
me himself because he was bragging about it, telling me
how you pushed my kid too much?

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Crazy? You want to wait in those lines, you're all
wet and cold. Take it back in the water.

Speaker 5 (02:29):
When it comes to water parks, are you just a
slide man?

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Or no, I'll do a raft, but no, I mean
Wray River is a nice little break. That's the break,
because you get tired running up and down those stairs NonStop,
especially when you got to carry the raft.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
You're running, and don't you don't need to do that.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Sometime I'll have an ice cream, Oh for a break,
and then for a break and okay, and what about
the wavepool? Where do you stand? Why do you see
that kind of what do you do? Are you go in?
I go in the front, babe? Oh yeah, why, it's
just so much fun. You're in there, You're drowning, you

(03:09):
pretending you in. It's so much fun.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
It is fucking crazy that you have not done Great
Wolf Lodge because they they have the craziest slides wave. Yes,
they have the Lazy river there, the giant wavepool where
I mean I couldn't even hang like. I was in
that thing for a little while and I'm a pretty
good swimmer, and I was like, holy ship.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
You would be.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Like puts floating the safety dive in right in.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Taking out, and the these slides are next level. You
want to talk about getting tired. You gotta walk up
like three flights of stairs to get to the top
of these things, and then you know you get they
shoot you out like crazy. And there's ones where you
go in like this crazy like whirlwind tubes. It was
pretty awesome. Now, how do you feel about the ones

(04:00):
that when you stand on them and then they just.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Went I had never been on something like that.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Did you do it? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Without without a doubt?

Speaker 1 (04:06):
It was scary, doubt, and then they have racing ones
four by four all the way down, which is pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Oh wow, I mean you would love this place heaven.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Growing up, there was a place called Splish.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Splash Man that sounds cool.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Park in New York, and it was awesome because they
had this one ride. They had this one water thing
called Shotgun Falls and you would race somebody but you'd
go straight up and you go into the air and
then land in the water and it was really Yeah,
that was really cool, terrifying. That was that was really cool.
And then they used to assessed me place now right,
it's not as do they have the same rides though

(04:45):
as aquatica sort of.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
They gotten rid of some stuff and last time I went,
like half the stuff was closed down and that's devastating.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
There's the closest water park is a Great Wolf Lodge,
might be outside of the There's a water park where
my wife lives in where wife grew up, sorry, in
Norcow in Sacramento area. It's it's called something. I forgot
what it's called. And every time we go there, I
always go, I want to go, and she's always like, no,
we don't have time.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Well, you're like a weekends.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Yeah, but it was also March, so they were closed.
But it's such bullshit.

Speaker 5 (05:17):
Now, how do you feel every water park I've always
been to, they're always, for some reason blaring tunes. You know,
they're playing music?

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Yeah? Is that part of the vibe?

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Do you appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Like with tunes? Odd question? Yeah, well, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (05:32):
It's almost like a club atmosphere, like with the music
being pumplished.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
The last time you've been to a water park.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
Exactly that hair getting wet?

Speaker 2 (05:42):
I think it was.

Speaker 5 (05:43):
I think it was raging waters back up and.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
A little like Katy Perry blairin in the background. I
don't that's what they were playing last time I went
to place.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
Oh yeah, they're like family, like like top forty. Yeah.
Like the best one I ever went to was in
Disney at or Land though, And I think it was
a volcano.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
Oh yeah, that was that's universal.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Fuck.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
Were you an adult? No?

Speaker 3 (06:08):
I was like I was like fourteen. It might not
have been a volcano, baity. Maybe it was Blizzard beach.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Oh yeah that was one. Oh what okay?

Speaker 3 (06:18):
Yeah I dished my parents.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
No, you're so cool.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
I grew up going to a water park every summer
in Fresno at my aunt Blackbeards.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
It was a good one.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
It was a good one, yeah, because it was an
arcade miniature golf and and I just spent all day. Yeah,
it was the best.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
So water parks are fun, But do you feel the
same way about like a pool water slide?

Speaker 3 (06:44):
So usually they were let down? Oh, usually you hit
a pool water Usually get a pool and you just
you're just like whatever, it's it's like a little dip
and you're never it's never that fast. You don't go
very fast.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
It's kind of only usually okay.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
But not what I did on Saturday. Okay, okay, IU.
So we go. We have a we have a gym
membership at Lifetime Fitness, and it's like a resort or
it's like a country club, but you don't have to
pay the country club, you know, twenty thousand dollars feet,
which is crazy. So me and my wife work out
there and they have daycare for the sun my son,
and then they have two pools. They have like a
giant like kids slash adult pool, and then they have

(07:24):
like an actual like lane Olympic.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Sized pool training.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
Yeah, and then exactly I'm not going to go I'm
not an Olympic swimming And then they have like an
outdoor bar and they have like waiters that will it's
crazy and get a glass of wine. You can get
glass of wine. I'm I'm not going to work out.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
It's going to go there. You can get wine anywhere.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
I'm getting it there. And then and that's cool about
it is it's it's in O Tai. So if it's
cloudy like it was this past weekend by the beach,
you can go there. And then they have two water slids. Really,
and when I initially saw the water slides, I was
trepretation because I'm like, how good are they? You go
into a pool, you know what I mean? You know

(08:09):
you've been let down so many times, so many times
in my life my pool slide. And there's there's one there.
There's one that's enclosed, and there's one that's tube. No, no,
they're both, they're both body only. The tube was, yeah,
I can take it to.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
You're too high.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
Ones like a tube and ones like open you have
a preference, obviously you go to because it's faster. It's
always faster, it's always faster, more speed. Yeah, Okay, I mean,
what a fucking stupid.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
Why do you think it's closed so you're not flying out, so.

Speaker 5 (08:46):
It's dark, so it's dark to make it scarier.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
And they're actually pretty dis the the distance is stupid scarier.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
Is this higher up? It's pretty higher up?

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Really, it's like I mean, I it's it's pretty high up.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Like you got to go up a flight of stairs.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
You have a couple of flights, a couple couple of fights,
maybe three maybe. So I've been wanting to go down
these slides since we got there, and they're not they
during outside of some of them.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
You wanted to go down the slide.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
Ye don't see why not?

Speaker 2 (09:17):
I mean, well, you're you're a grown man.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
I didn't know there was an age limit.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
I didn't know.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
I didn't know. I didn't know there was an age.
That's fucking crazy. There's a height limit forty eight inches,
and I think I'm over that. You were your big boy. Yeah,
so whenever we're there during the week, but it's not summer,
they're closed. Some of their open during the week, but
cool the pool or the slides because they have somebody

(09:45):
sitting up there. Yeah, there's lifeguards have so many employees
at this place. There was like eight lifeguards right, which
is but at the pool's not deep.

Speaker 5 (09:54):
Keep you safe, bro.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
From what it's like three feet.

Speaker 5 (09:58):
I don't know why you run it around the place.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
I don't need that.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
So after we worked out, we picked up my son
from the daycare and we went we we went to
the water slide area.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
You hit the pool.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
We hit the pool, and he had his little hat on.
We we sunscreened all of us up a.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Little too much.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
I mean we couldn't find We've eventually found his his
lizard sunscreen, but we used the stick because we couldn't
find it right away. We did rub it in. He
looked adorable with his little two teeth.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
He looked like the crow.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
He was like sting, Yeah, what's that guy doing?

Speaker 3 (10:38):
And he's got his little hat sunt yeah, and uh,
there's nobody on the water slide. Nobody on it. And
I look at my wife and I and I and
I see kids on it. But at the mone there's
no line. And I said to my wife, I go,
should I go on this right now? And she said,
she said, you might as well. And I'm thirty nine

(10:59):
years old. The people, there's people there's adults in front
of us.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
And I go, you seen any other adults going up?

Speaker 3 (11:06):
I only saw a couple of kids go down, but
no one. The life cutch up there all by himself,
So you're doing him a fa Yeah, So I go,
I'm gonna go up. And for some reason, it's on
my Instagram the show for the video of me going
up it. And for some reason, I'm really excited, so
I like run towards it really excited. I'm like, kind of.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
Even your son is kind of judging you.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
You wanted to do it, but he's I asked my
wife I could take him. She said no, okay, So
I go.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
I know why you're running. I could see why why
you're running right there. I could absolutely see why you
started running.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
So I start running a little bit, a little prance because.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
Why the fuck did you leave your hat on?

Speaker 3 (11:49):
My wife told me to leave the hat on.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
Why why?

Speaker 3 (11:52):
I don't know. Why would she care for?

Speaker 2 (11:54):
It comes off as soon as you go down the swimming.

Speaker 3 (11:56):
With your hat on. Forward Sometimes I want my head sunburn.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
You're really concerned about sun safety.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
You see these wrinkles. This is years of sunscreen or
the end thing. I'm too cool for sunglasses. So I
go up the thing. Nobody's up there. I run in
front of these kids.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Well that's why you went running is there was a
couple of kids, kids who were headed to the slide.
Thor gets eyes on him and then he takes off.
He doesn't do a full sprint, but he.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
Is a good spot. That's a good that's a good definite.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
And this happened twice. So the first time, the first
time this happens, I get in front of the kids
that nobody says anything, and I'm really excited and.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
You could see the kids disappointment, like oh what Yeah, yeah,
fuck them?

Speaker 2 (12:48):
Okay, whoa?

Speaker 3 (12:49):
I mean, every man for himself. So the second so
I get down there, obviously, I go down the enclosed
tube first and I rocket myself. I grab the handles.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
And are you allowed to do that? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (13:02):
What's this little teenage kid gonna say to me at
the lifeguard tower?

Speaker 2 (13:05):
Give you a break? I don't there to keep him company?
Chest hair? Yeah, this guy.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
I waited up and I'm like, I'm waiting for like
the green flash, like you know, they say go because
you could go, bro, and I went, thanks.

Speaker 1 (13:17):
You're not cool.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
I did what I landed.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
When I landed in the water, there was like a
lifeguard is probably like twenty, and I did think he
was He probably thought I was a loser because I'm
thirty nine years old and.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
You look like So I come back and I'm like,
what the fuck is that guy have a hat on?

Speaker 3 (13:34):
That was the biggest question. I come back and I'm
really excited.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
You're gonna go down again.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
It's a rush. So I tell my wife I'm gonna go.
Should I go again? And she goes yeah. And I
go again, and this time there's more kids coming and
I see them and I start running and kind of
put my.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
Arm like you're blocking that. Shut up, dude. Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
Guy, I'm swear to god. They're probably like eight or nine.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
They're actually a little bit older. They're like probably ten eleven.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
One of the kids yells out, hey, no running. You
hear him in the video, Hey, no running. So that
I ran a little faster, like you, kid, you're bad
and flying the rules.

Speaker 2 (14:14):
Well, I mean you're not supposed to, boy right by
you support this? I mean he pushed red before me.
It's the same thing.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
Probably did deserve it. Talk to adults like that Okay,
well you adults don't run, and adults aren't going down
the slide. So then I went down the open air
that was the second and it wasn't as fast as
the entergyce, so I was right. So then I was like,
well I don't want to end on that.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
You're not going to go down again, So I went again.
The kids looking at you like what the what is
this app So.

Speaker 3 (14:49):
You'd think, right, So I go down the last time
and in the video you see me I fly out
of this thing right almost. I turned sideways.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
It was crazy and your life was I think it was.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
And then I come out and the three adults that
were in front of us noticed me do it three times,
so they go they start looking around, and then they.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
Got started of other assholes. Touches for kids
