you hear all of this hype about the monsoon is coming.
The monsoon is coming. Doesn't look like it's going to
hit like a tsunami or anything, but it looks like

at the trial prep cabin today and I can tell
you there's no smoke in the air up here. We're probably,

do want to come right out of the gate though,
with the president's big address last night on election integrity,
and I think a lot of people are missing the point,
and some are missing the point because they're missing the point.
Some are missing the point because they want to miss
the point. And so let's just start with election integrity.

But so much else we need to get to in
the show today. And as ton Zach, it really is
interesting because it's usually not like this in governor's races.
Usually in governor's races there's a lot of intensity during
the primary and then that just kind of carries over
into the general. This one, there wasn't that much intensity
in the primary, and now, Holy Cale, you just look

at our text and calls and everything else.

It's about all people want to talk about.

So I'm sure we'll be continuing that conversation today three

And one thing is you know we love to do
during the show is just throw in here or there,
so just really compelling sound, and that can come from
a lot of different places and types of sound, but
today we have two or three good examples of that
as well, So we'll just sprinkle that in and make
sure you get a chance to listen to it. Three

Reasons I like to do that is because I know
that almost all of us, right, we are so overstimulated visually.
And I don't know about you, but I mean we
all I think, just the way we're wired, we get
hooked on screens and there's just so much visual stimulation
that I think really powerful audio again, no matter where

it comes from, really powerful audio I think now has
even more impact because most of the stimulation these days
is visual. So Election integrity, Zach, why don't you tea

Election integrity will start with our President Trump last night
telling the nation about the immediate declassification of certain documents.
Speaker 4 (03:09):
Tonight, I'm announcing the immediate declassification and release of critical
intelligence revealing shocking vulnerabilities in our election infrastructure.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
This evidence shows that the election system.
Speaker 5 (03:22):
We have dangerously exposes and really exposes like levels never
thought possible, the hacking, exploitation, and foreign interference. Just as disturbingly,
this vital information has for many years been covered up
and hidden from you. The American people are beautiful, are

great American people.

But that all changes right now, you see.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
I think what we really need here is a nine
to eleven type commission, you know, to dive into election security,
because I don't think any sane, honest person would deny
that there are likely vulnerabilities in the system, or if
there are none, truly, if this is the first human

endeavor to ever reached that mountain top of perfection, let's
celebrate it, right, but.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
I don't think it is.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
Let's have a nine to eleven type commission, which by
nature would have to be bipartisan, made up of really serious,
respected by partisan type people, and with full subpoena power, etc.
To just deep dive this because if nothing else, whether
it's justified or not, if nothing else, we can see

just look at any pole, that there are large swaths
of the American people who have real doubts about the
integrity of our system, and it's affecting the willingness of
some to vote now.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
I think one reason the left.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
Opposes a true, deep dive investigation into election integrity is
is they like the fact that these doubts are percolating
because the only people who don't vote because of these
doubts are Republican voters. I don't think there's a single
Democrat voter in America who has decided not to vote
because they thought maybe it's not going to matter because

elections are stolen, that's where Republicans lose votes. So the
left is happy to have those doubts out there, but
we just we need to get to the bottom of it.
I thought the President raised some legitimate questions last night.
I did not interpret the President as saying, hey, here's
proof any particular election was stolen, just that, hey, there

are vulnerabilities in the system. We've got foreign actors who
want to medle in our elections, and the past administration
wanted to downplay any of that for political reasons. So
I didn't think there was anything blockbuster last night. I
did think it's an important reminder. Obviously, the president wants
that important reminder out there right now, because you know
(05:56):
he wants to and we as a nation need the
Save Act to be asked, and the Democrats are in
a jam, right because you've got a vast majority of
the country that says, of course you should have to
have an ID to vote. So that makes sound like
this cut sixteen please act just so funny when Senator
(06:16):
Warnawck from Georgia, who won a very very close race
down there, talks about the Save Act is to save
Trump's power. Kind of a quick cheap line written by
a summer intern. No offense to interns out there. We
have some awesome interns in our office, but fire cuts
sixteen please.
Speaker 6 (06:33):
The Save Act is about saving Donald Trump's power. It
is not about saving our democracy. It is a vote
of suppression bill, pure and simple.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
Well, you're not suppressing the votes of any people who
should be able to vote when you just require an ID. Right,
everybody knows that. Everybody knows that. So one of the
great disappointments at this point is that you know, the
Republican Senate has not been willing to line up fully
and unanimously behind the same act.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Obviously you need voter ID.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
I mean, does anybody really doubt at this point that
the Democrats hope at the very least, I think, depend
on and actively root for some people who are here
illegally to vote. I mean, that's why they bring people
here illegally to begin with, right, That's why they try
to incentivize, magnetize people to make that dangerous, brutal journey

where so many women and young girls are raped, are abused,
are trafficked. Because the Democrats in Colorado, in the nation,
the leaders, they don't care about the harm that's done
to those women on the way up. They just see
them as meet They just see them as votes. And
so does anybody really think after going so far out
of their way to invite and to tract and essentially
(07:56):
beg people to come to this nation and Colorado illegally,
once they get here, they don't want them to vote.
Remember when I posted it on x where there's this
bill that that Bennett and Hickelooper that were supporting that
would prevent ICE from operating at polling stations.

I mean, that's not even subtle. So the President last night.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
Wasn't saying, Okay, here's the proof that any particular election
was stolen.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
It's say, we got.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
Some problems, and we got to focus on them and
the last administration was trying to downplate. Did you see
it any differently, hear it any differently? I'd love to
get your take three or three seven, one, three eight,

But I think one of the key points the President
made last night, and we just need to extend it
a step or two, is this point about.

China wanting to meddle. Well, no blank, Sherlock.

I mean, and the President needed to make the point,
but obviously.

I mean it did pick.

You pick your evil, whether you're talking the Communist Party
of China, whether you're.

Talking one of the most evil people to ever walk the.

Face of the earth in Putin, you know, whether you're
talking North Korea, though they have limited capability beyond nuclear
right now, which is a weird phrase to say. But
the point is, of course they're going to meddle. These
are people who will slaughter fast number of people without
a second thought. Of course, they're going to try to
meddle in American elections to get the president they think

will be best for them. You know the point, and
that's I think happened in virtually every election we've ever had,
and it will continue to the point is what are we.

Going to do to stop it?

But then the related point is this, First of all,
when it comes to elections, we should be looking at
absolute integrity and purity as close as you can get
to it in any human process. What beyond that, when
we're talking about sanctity of elections, we also.

Have to look at the other type of.

Election manipulation and election interference that are going on, and
they are having a far more, as a practical matter,
direct impact in distorting our elections than this other stuff
we're talking about, which we should. But come on, I mean,
you look at the twenty twenty election, look at this
election cycle that's going on right now in Colorado, and

I'll detail that more when we get back. You have
the media, not in any illegal way, but in a
way that does as much and more damage. You have
certain media outlets and individuals who are trying to manipulate
the outcome, and not through direct commentary.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
So let's come back and talk about that.

The most famous example nationally talk about rigging quote unquote
an election, I would call it interfering with an election,
manipulating the outcome would be the media bearing censoring that
very legitimate Hunter Biden laptop story that probably would have
swung the twenty twenty election. And then it's the stuff

we've been talking about here in Colorado.

In this cycle.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
So yeah, purity integrity of our elections, that should be
an absolute top priority. But let's look at every different
way we need to protect that.

four states. We've identified two hundred and fifty thousand non
citizens registers to vote in California and Pennsylvania, New Jersey,
and Nevada. We all also worked with proactive states to

identify twenty eight thousand non citizens on their voter rolls,
plus four hundred thousand individuals that are still registered to
vote that are deceased. Now those twenty are these twenty
three states they proactively worked with us on the same program.

That's Georgia, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, North Carolina, Idaho, Alabama, Missouri, Louisiana, Kansas, Arkansas, Wyoming, Montana, Iowa, Florida,
South Dakota, Indiana, Arizona, South Carolina, Utah, Nebraska, Michigan, and
my great home state of Oklahoma.

Yeah, where's Colorado on that list? How many folks here
I legally do you think are registered to vote in Colorado?
I don't know the answer to it, but we all
should know the answer to it, right, Yeah, Which just
brings us back to an all of the above approach
to election integrity, which is really hard when you've got
the leadership of one party that has no interest has

has no interest in that right because they're betting their
future on bringing people to this country illegally who will
then vote for them.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
So what do you do about that?
Speaker 3 (13:18):
Three all three seven win three eight two five five
an five seven seventh three nine. One thing you do
is is what you hopefully did, which was elect President
Trump and as many Republicans across the country as we can,
you know, close the border, get control of the border,
and then go to work on the problem.

So but we all know, hey, twenty twenty eight's coming
up fast.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
Democrat wins, all of that's probably going to get reversed
open borders once again the nation flooded.
Speaker 2 (13:46):
And also they can get more.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
Democrat votes because you know, the far left of controls
the Democrat Party.

They can do math. They see the trend lines.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
They know places like Colorado they're still strong, but a
lot of other places is their their leaking oil, and.

The trend line.

It may not be a sharp straight line down it
is some places, but it's a general line down for
Democrats many places around this country. So they know they've
they've got to, in their twisted worldview, you know, bring
in more and more and more people illegally who can
end up voting for him. It's I don't think that's
even a secret at this point. Three h three seven

seven three nine. But if we're truly going to be
focused on election integrity and having honest elections.

Then we have to look at the other ways.

I was talking about before the break, that the elections
get wrongly manipulated.

Now it's not illegal. When you talk about the media.

Censoring stories so a Democrat can get elected, you talk
about media manipulating reporting so that Democrats can get elected.
You talk about media manipulation debates so that Democrats get elected.
That's not illegal, but that is, in my opinion, another

form of election interference.

Because I'm not naive.
Speaker 3 (15:11):
I understand every single person who works in the media
is human, which means they're going to have a leaning
one way or the other.

I don't fault them for that.

What I do fault them for is when they don't
stay true to what I view as a sacred calling.
When you're in a position like that and be as
down the middle as you possibly can be with the reporting,
with the debate moderating, with the hosting and conduct of debates,
all of that so that the public can get the

closest thing they possibly can to the accurate information they
need to vote on. So I think that there are
a lot of different facets to this three oh three
seven one three eight two five five d an five
seven seven three nine, So love your take.

Obviously, the President's going to remain focused on the Save Act.
Hopefully he finds a way to get it enacted, because
a nation without voter ID requirements, what do you think
is going to happen? And then the other part of it,
obviously is just continue to elect Republicans so the border
stays under control, because that is the core of the

Democrats strategy, is bringing in so many illegal folks to
vote for them. Three or three sevene three eight two

all that, you know, I think on the Republican side,
we're all watching kind of Marco Rubio and JD.

Which is going to be You know, if if Trump
does give the nod to one or the other, that
person's going to be the nominee. But if Trump does not,
who will it be? Who should it be? I want

they're thinking, I'm the only one of my family looks

That's the crazy thing because no one is thinking that,
you know, like that that or you know some people
are now, but yeah, I think that's Getting that tested
is something that never comes to mind. So a few
people get DNA tests that even if you have, they're like, oh,
I'm a black sheep in the family.

I think so many things would come to mind. But
before this and now with the story, it seems plausible.

Well that's a whole another talk time topic of do
you really want to be getting these DNA tests?

Because you know, when my brother was born, my dad
was in the Air Force stationed in Puerto Rico and my.

Brother was born there. And then.

Some high ranking officer, I can't remember if it was captain,
colonel whatever, insisted that my brother Tom was actually his
child because that high ranking officer wanted a boy and
his wife had a girl.

And so there was a big, a big to do
over that.

And if you had ever met my mom, and then
she was on the show many many times before she
went to HEV and she boy, she was a tiger
and uh, and so she would not let go for boy.
But yeah, this this officer was pulling ranks saying, no,
they mixed it up.

That's that's my boy. Wow, so wild.

And then when our son Joe was born, you know,
we at the hospital was phenomenal.

They were so great, and our nurse was so great.
All of that was so great.

And and bot but right after he was born, like
I noticed, as they were hauling him off to the barn,
you know the big nursery there where they put all
the babies in there, they hadn't put a bracelet on
him yet, so he didn't have an id bracelet on
him yet, so what if he had gone into Now

I'm sure everybody else had an ID bracelet on, so
there wouldn't have been any issue, But it still made
me stop and think a little bit. Sure we got
a bracelet on him before he went into the herd.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
Yeah, that's it.

Yeah, you know, stories like that make you wonder maybe
this is a lot more prevalent than you'd think.
Speaker 3 (22:57):
Yeah, I want Hey, I'd love to open it up
for calls. I wouldn't be surprised if there was somebody
listening who had had something like that happen. But what
about these DNA tests now that everybody can just go
do that? You know what kind of situations have those costs?
And I'm not saying it's bad that people do them.

I mean, the truth will set you free, right, But
you could see all sorts of situations where maybe it'd
been an absolutely wonderful, idyllic.

Family and then all of a sudden, hey, twenty nine
nine nine, let's go get a DNA test.
Speaker 3 (23:32):
All hades breaks loose. But yeah, yeah, so how much, Zach,
if you're on the jury, how much how much do
you award that guy who he's thirty five now he's
spent thirty five years with the wrong parents. How much
do you award the parents forever and their baby taken
(23:53):
away if their allegation's true.
Speaker 10 (23:56):
It's just it's so hard to comprehend because it's like prices,
things like your childhood, your baby being taken from you.
It's I mean, I think it would at least have
to start in the million dollar range, and then it's
just how many millions?
Speaker 3 (24:12):
Yeah, right, which is I mean, that's always a challenge,
right when you're talking about something priceless, and as a
guy who has the privilege of addressing juries all the
time on you know, enormous losses for people, you know,
that's that's always a very important starting point is to

recognize that, you know that nobody, nobody would ever say, oh, yeah,
take my baby away for X amount of money, But
you have to start with the fact that it is
that enormous loss.

And uh that.

Nobody, nobody would ever ever agree to do that voluntarily,
do it to themselves, give that up. So yeah, it'll
be very interesting to see where that case goes. And
I'm going to try to follow it because, as you
heard in the story, the hospital is denying that it's
their fall.

I just wonder how else it could have happened. But
uh yeah.

What about this story? John Aguilar, great reporter in the
Denver Post. Representative Lauren Bobert's Democratic challenger is banking on
a giant money gap. Will that be enough to win
the race?

Eileen Lawbacher, retired US Navy rear admiral, raised more than.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
Ten times as much money as one representative Lauren Bobert.
Speaker 3 (25:46):
And I guess, yeah, she's raised three point six million.
I guess three six on hand to Congressman Woman Bobert's
two forty seven. And is that going to make difference
up there? I don't think it is. I mean, remember
how much more money Jeb Bush had raised than Donald Trump.

How much money they spent on new coke? Did you
do you know anybody who ever drank a new coke?
Speaker 2 (26:13):
Oh? I I that was way before me. I know
of the story of new coke. But yeah, yeah, they
spent a ton of money trying to market.
Speaker 3 (26:21):
It, and nobody would drink it because it didn't taste
as good as old coke. So yeah, I don't think
I don't think the money is going to make the
difference in that district. And Congresswoman Bobert, she she's a warrior.
I mean, she's a great campaigner, she's a warrior. We

haven't agreed on everything over the years, We've agreed on most,
but she she is a fighter. I think it's going
to be very, very very hard to dis lodge her.
But Democrats, it's like Wiley, Coyote and road Runner, right,
they just never get tired of pouring millions and millions
and millions into trying to beat Congressome and Bolbert, and

with the president's big address last night on election integrity,
and I think a lot of people are missing the point,
and some are missing the point because they're missing the point.
Some are missing the point because they want to miss
the point. And so let's just start with election integrity.

the show today. And as ton Zach, it really is
interesting because it's usually not like this in governor's races.
Usually in governor's races there's a lot of intensity during
the primary and then that just kind of carries over
into the general. This one, there wasn't that much intensity
in the primary, and now, Holy Cale, you just look

at our text and calls and everything else.

It's about all people want to talk about.

So I'm sure we'll be continuing that conversation today three

even more impact because most of the stimulation these days

telling the nation about the immediate declassification of certain documents.

This evidence shows that the election system.

We have dangerously exposes and really exposes like levels never
thought possible, the hacking, exploitation, and foreign interference. Just as disturbingly,
this vital information has for many years been covered up
and hidden from you. The American people are beautiful, are

great American people.

But that all changes right now, you see.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
I think what we really need here is a nine
to eleven type commission, you know, to dive into election security,
because I don't think any sane, honest person would deny
that there are likely vulnerabilities in the system, or if
there are none, truly, if this is the first human

endeavor to ever reached that mountain top of perfection, let's
celebrate it, right, but.

I don't think it is.

Let's have a nine to eleven type commission, which by
nature would have to be bipartisan, made up of really serious,
respected by partisan type people, and with full subpoena power, etc.
To just deep dive this because if nothing else, whether
it's justified or not, if nothing else, we can see

just look at any pole, that there are large swaths
of the American people who have real doubts about the
integrity of our system, and it's affecting the willingness of
some to vote now.

I think one reason the left.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
Opposes a true, deep dive investigation into election integrity is
is they like the fact that these doubts are percolating
because the only people who don't vote because of these
doubts are Republican voters. I don't think there's a single
Democrat voter in America who has decided not to vote
because they thought maybe it's not going to matter because

elections are stolen, that's where Republicans lose votes. So the
left is happy to have those doubts out there, but
we just we need to get to the bottom of it.
I thought the President raised some legitimate questions last night.
I did not interpret the President as saying, hey, here's
proof any particular election was stolen, just that, hey, there
(05:33):
are vulnerabilities in the system. We've got foreign actors who
want to medle in our elections, and the past administration
wanted to downplay any of that for political reasons. So
I didn't think there was anything blockbuster last night. I
did think it's an important reminder. Obviously, the president wants
that important reminder out there right now, because you know
(05:56):
he wants to and we as a nation need the
Save Act to be asked, and the Democrats are in
a jam, right because you've got a vast majority of
the country that says, of course you should have to
have an ID to vote. So that makes sound like
this cut sixteen please act just so funny when Senator
(06:16):
Warnawck from Georgia, who won a very very close race
down there, talks about the Save Act is to save
Trump's power. Kind of a quick cheap line written by
a summer intern. No offense to interns out there. We
have some awesome interns in our office, but fire cuts
sixteen please.

The Save Act is about saving Donald Trump's power. It
is not about saving our democracy. It is a vote
of suppression bill, pure and simple.

Well, you're not suppressing the votes of any people who
should be able to vote when you just require an ID. Right,
everybody knows that. Everybody knows that. So one of the
great disappointments at this point is that you know, the
Republican Senate has not been willing to line up fully
and unanimously behind the same act.

Obviously you need voter ID.

I mean, does anybody really doubt at this point that
the Democrats hope at the very least, I think, depend
on and actively root for some people who are here
illegally to vote. I mean, that's why they bring people
here illegally to begin with, right, That's why they try
to incentivize, magnetize people to make that dangerous, brutal journey

where so many women and young girls are raped, are abused,
are trafficked. Because the Democrats in Colorado, in the nation,
the leaders, they don't care about the harm that's done
to those women on the way up. They just see
them as meet They just see them as votes. And
so does anybody really think after going so far out
of their way to invite and to tract and essentially
(07:56):
beg people to come to this nation and Colorado illegally,
once they get here, they don't want them to vote.
Remember when I posted it on x where there's this
bill that that Bennett and Hickelooper that were supporting that
would prevent ICE from operating at polling stations.

I mean, that's not even subtle. So the President last night.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
Wasn't saying, Okay, here's the proof that any particular election
was stolen.

It's say, we got.

Some problems, and we got to focus on them and
the last administration was trying to downplate. Did you see
it any differently, hear it any differently? I'd love to
get your take three or three seven, one, three eight,

But I think one of the key points the President
made last night, and we just need to extend it
a step or two, is this point about.

I mean it did pick.

of China, whether you're.

talking North Korea, though they have limited capability beyond nuclear
right now, which is a weird phrase to say. But
the point is, of course they're going to meddle. These
are people who will slaughter fast number of people without
a second thought. Of course, they're going to try to
meddle in American elections to get the president they think

will be best for them. You know the point, and
that's I think happened in virtually every election we've ever had,
and it will continue to the point is what are we.

Going to do to stop it?

But then the related point is this, First of all,
when it comes to elections, we should be looking at
absolute integrity and purity as close as you can get
to it in any human process. What beyond that, when
we're talking about sanctity of elections, we also.

Have to look at the other type of.

Election manipulation and election interference that are going on, and
they are having a far more, as a practical matter,
direct impact in distorting our elections than this other stuff
we're talking about, which we should. But come on, I mean,
you look at the twenty twenty election, look at this
election cycle that's going on right now in Colorado, and

I'll detail that more when we get back. You have
the media, not in any illegal way, but in a
way that does as much and more damage. You have
certain media outlets and individuals who are trying to manipulate
the outcome, and not through direct commentary.

So let's come back and talk about that.

The most famous example nationally talk about rigging quote unquote
an election, I would call it interfering with an election,
manipulating the outcome would be the media bearing censoring that
very legitimate Hunter Biden laptop story that probably would have
swung the twenty twenty election. And then it's the stuff

we've been talking about here in Colorado.

In this cycle.

So yeah, purity integrity of our elections, that should be
an absolute top priority. But let's look at every different
way we need to protect that.

plus four hundred thousand individuals that are still registered to
vote that are deceased. Now those twenty are these twenty
three states they proactively worked with us on the same program.

That's Georgia, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, North Carolina, Idaho, Alabama, Missouri, Louisiana, Kansas, Arkansas, Wyoming, Montana, Iowa, Florida,
South Dakota, Indiana, Arizona, South Carolina, Utah, Nebraska, Michigan, and
my great home state of Oklahoma.

Yeah, where's Colorado on that list? How many folks here
I legally do you think are registered to vote in Colorado?
I don't know the answer to it, but we all
should know the answer to it, right, Yeah, Which just
brings us back to an all of the above approach
to election integrity, which is really hard when you've got
the leadership of one party that has no interest has

has no interest in that right because they're betting their
future on bringing people to this country illegally who will
then vote for them.

So what do you do about that?
Speaker 3 (13:18):
Three all three seven win three eight two five five
an five seven seventh three nine. One thing you do
is is what you hopefully did, which was elect President
Trump and as many Republicans across the country as we can,
you know, close the border, get control of the border,
and then go to work on the problem.

So but we all know, hey, twenty twenty eight's coming
up fast.

Democrat wins, all of that's probably going to get reversed
open borders once again the nation flooded.

And also they can get more.

Democrat votes because you know, the far left of controls
the Democrat Party.

They can do math. They see the trend lines.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
They know places like Colorado they're still strong, but a
lot of other places is their their leaking oil, and.

The trend line.

It may not be a sharp straight line down it
is some places, but it's a general line down for
Democrats many places around this country. So they know they've
they've got to, in their twisted worldview, you know, bring
in more and more and more people illegally who can
end up voting for him. It's I don't think that's

seven three nine. But if we're truly going to be
focused on election integrity and having honest elections.

Then we have to look at the other ways.

Now it's not illegal. When you talk about the media.

Censoring stories so a Democrat can get elected, you talk
about media manipulating reporting so that Democrats can get elected.
You talk about media manipulation debates so that Democrats get elected.
That's not illegal, but that is, in my opinion, another

form of election interference.

Because I'm not naive.
Speaker 3 (15:11):
I understand every single person who works in the media
is human, which means they're going to have a leaning
one way or the other.

I don't fault them for that.

What I do fault them for is when they don't
stay true to what I view as a sacred calling.
When you're in a position like that and be as
down the middle as you possibly can be with the reporting,
with the debate moderating, with the hosting and conduct of debates,
all of that so that the public can get the

closest thing they possibly can to the accurate information they
need to vote on. So I think that there are
a lot of different facets to this three oh three
seven one three eight two five five d an five
seven seven three nine, So love your take.

Obviously, the President's going to remain focused on the Save Act.
Hopefully he finds a way to get it enacted, because

Democrats strategy, is bringing in so many illegal folks to

we're all watching kind of Marco Rubio and JD.

colonel whatever, insisted that my brother Tom was actually his
child because that high ranking officer wanted a boy and
his wife had a girl.

And so there was a big, a big to do
over that.

And if you had ever met my mom, and then
she was on the show many many times before she
went to HEV and she boy, she was a tiger
and uh, and so she would not let go for boy.
But yeah, this this officer was pulling ranks saying, no,
they mixed it up.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
That's that's my boy. Wow, so wild.
Speaker 3 (22:09):
And then when our son Joe was born, you know,
we at the hospital was phenomenal.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
They were so great, and our nurse was so great.
All of that was so great.
Speaker 3 (22:17):
And and bot but right after he was born, like
I noticed, as they were hauling him off to the barn,
you know the big nursery there where they put all
the babies in there, they hadn't put a bracelet on
him yet, so he didn't have an id bracelet on
him yet, so what if he had gone into Now

I'm sure everybody else had an ID bracelet on, so
there wouldn't have been any issue, But it still made
me stop and think a little bit. Sure we got
a bracelet on him before he went into the herd.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
Yeah, that's it.
Speaker 10 (22:51):
Yeah, you know, stories like that make you wonder maybe
this is a lot more prevalent than you'd think.
Speaker 3 (22:57):
Yeah, I want Hey, I'd love to open it up
for calls. I wouldn't be surprised if there was somebody
listening who had had something like that happen. But what
about these DNA tests now that everybody can just go
do that? You know what kind of situations have those costs?
And I'm not saying it's bad that people do them.

I mean, the truth will set you free, right, But
you could see all sorts of situations where maybe it'd
been an absolutely wonderful, idyllic.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
Family and then all of a sudden, hey, twenty nine
nine nine, let's go get a DNA test.
Speaker 3 (23:32):
All hades breaks loose. But yeah, yeah, so how much, Zach,
if you're on the jury, how much how much do
you award that guy who he's thirty five now he's
spent thirty five years with the wrong parents. How much
do you award the parents forever and their baby taken
(23:53):
away if their allegation's true.
Speaker 10 (23:56):
It's just it's so hard to comprehend because it's like prices,
things like your childhood, your baby being taken from you.
It's I mean, I think it would at least have
to start in the million dollar range, and then it's
just how many millions?
Speaker 3 (24:12):
Yeah, right, which is I mean, that's always a challenge,
right when you're talking about something priceless, and as a
guy who has the privilege of addressing juries all the
time on you know, enormous losses for people, you know,
that's that's always a very important starting point is to
(24:34):
recognize that, you know that nobody, nobody would ever say, oh, yeah,
take my baby away for X amount of money, But
you have to start with the fact that it is
that enormous loss.
Speaker 2 (24:51):
And uh that.
Speaker 3 (24:52):
Nobody, nobody would ever ever agree to do that voluntarily,
do it to themselves, give that up. So yeah, it'll
be very interesting to see where that case goes. And
I'm going to try to follow it because, as you
heard in the story, the hospital is denying that it's
their fall.

I just wonder how else it could have happened. But
uh yeah.
Speaker 3 (25:19):

What about this story? John Aguilar, great reporter in the
Denver Post. Representative Lauren Bobert's Democratic challenger is banking on
a giant money gap. Will that be enough to win
the race?
Speaker 3 (25:36):
Eileen Lawbacher, retired US Navy rear admiral, raised more than.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
Ten times as much money as one representative Lauren Bobert.
Speaker 3 (25:46):
And I guess, yeah, she's raised three point six million.
I guess three six on hand to Congressman Woman Bobert's
two forty seven. And is that going to make difference
up there? I don't think it is. I mean, remember
how much more money Jeb Bush had raised than Donald Trump.
(26:07):
How much money they spent on new coke? Did you
do you know anybody who ever drank a new coke?
Speaker 2 (26:13):
Oh? I I that was way before me. I know
of the story of new coke. But yeah, yeah, they
spent a ton of money trying to market.
Speaker 3 (26:21):
It, and nobody would drink it because it didn't taste
as good as old coke. So yeah, I don't think
I don't think the money is going to make the
difference in that district. And Congresswoman Bobert, she she's a warrior.
I mean, she's a great campaigner, she's a warrior. We
(26:42):
haven't agreed on everything over the years, We've agreed on most,
but she she is a fighter. I think it's going
to be very, very very hard to dis lodge her.
But Democrats, it's like Wiley, Coyote and road Runner, right,
they just never get tired of pouring millions and millions
and millions into trying to beat Congressome and Bolbert, and

every single time it ends with the anvil coming down
on their head. And I don't think this time is
going to be any different. I have no doubt that
the Democrat is going to be a very impressive person.
But it's a plus nine hour district with the long
history of dynamic Republican representation.
Speaker 2 (27:25):
I don't see that changing in this cycle.
Speaker 3 (27:26):
But if you think different, or even if you think
the same, three or three seven to one, three A two,

Trump's power. The Save Act is about saving the integrity
of American elections. Who can stand up in front of

not have voter ID right. Anybody who says that we

essentially telling you they want people to cheat, aren't they?
Is there's some flaw in that logic? If there is,
please bring it on three oh three seven one three

to be revived and win statewide elections because the Democrats

to have more impact on persuadable voters? What do you

Here's what you do about illegals voting in Colorado. You
figure out how many are registered, then figure out what
percentage of the Democrat voters they make up, and then
you subtract that percentage from the Democrats vote unless they
can prove those people didn't vote. Great theory, I don't

see any way to implement that, Dan. Some like to
say we interfere in other countries' elections.

Could you address that as a defense?

Well, first of all, our starting point is to defend America,
and that includes it defending our shores, defending our skies,
defending our elections. And so if America has interfered in
an election somewhere else, we can take a look at
that election, and then we can get the facts and

we can have the debate over whether that was justified
or not. But the one thing we sure as heck
know is that no outsider, no outside nation, should be
interfering with our elections. No insider should be interfering with
our elections. The media should not be interfering with our
elections by censoring stories, by manipulating debates. Yeah, so if

we're going to defend this nation, we need to defend
the integrity of our elections. Dan very entertaining today, there
is no bottom to the abyss of lies that Donald

my attitude has always been, Hey, life short. Why would
anybody choose to be a prisoner, to erect their own cell,

Doesn't mean I'm perfect. I'm the furthest thing from perfect.

But the point is if you are devoted to finding
the truth speaking the truth, I just think that's a
much more fun way to live, right, It's a very
liberating way to live. I just think it's always so sad.
And you see it much more on the left and
on the right.

But you see at both places.

Where you've got some guy or you got some gale
and they're blessed with these different gifts and opportunities, and
they decide to just become a mouthpiece for a candidate
or a political party. Why what's the point?

Oh? That way they can get power at what cost? Right?

At what cost? You're very integrity? Yeah, all right? Three

every politician and media outlet is truth is why we
failed as a country.

I'll tell anyone whatever they want to believe. Trump is
a fantastic con man. Quite the opposite.

I mean, the reason Trump won both times, and the
first time against long odds, is because he is in
many ways that many people have not been willing to
do before a truth teller. He says things that everybody
knows are true, but they're not politically correct, so nobody
wants to say him out loud. That's how he got

in office. I challenge anybody to point out any lies
President Trump is told, and unfortunately he has told some,
but they aren't the reason he got elected, and they
aren't the reason he got elected a second time. He
got elected because he spoke important truth other people weren't
willing to and other people weren't willing to fight for.

But anybody, can anybody point out any.

Lie that Trumps told that was the reason for him
getting elected.
