Speaker 2 (00:07):
You don't have.
Speaker 1 (00:10):
Come running just as as we can. Shooter's gonna help come.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
This is the Troubleshooter Show. No Tom Martino.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
Hello, Hello, Hello, I'm Tom Martino live from Casa Studio
and at the main flagship.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
We have Major, Mark Major and the crew.
Speaker 4 (00:32):
What's going on? Mark, and I'll tell you what? It's Tuesday.
I hope you had a great holiday. Susanna and I
took the long weekend to clean our basically to how
do you declutter? We decluttered quite a bit. She was
so proud of me, Tom listening to this. I am
for people that don't know this.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
This is very true.
Speaker 4 (00:52):
I have come to actually tell people about my problem.
I am a close hoarder. I will keep close longer
than anybody on earth. And I got rid of four
big sacks to Goodwill of clothes. Whozanne couldn't be happier.
It was a it was a crazy night last night.
How happy she was?
Speaker 2 (01:12):
Mark? Are you in general a hoarder? Jelow's just buy
in boxes. He keeps a lot of box like boxes.
Speaker 4 (01:20):
If I get something in a box, like a piece
of equipment, like let me ask you, Tom. We both
have the same equipment in our home studios. Do you
still have the box for example, for the roadie and
for the.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
Compress I use you.
Speaker 3 (01:34):
I keep boxes because I don't know why. I've always
thought for resale they come in handy, you know, or
for you know, for whatever reason, I keep them, and
I do like keeping original boxes.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
Now I think I might get rid of them.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
I think my thing is like three years and then
shredding documents. I like to shred documents. But I have
never been a hoarder of anything.
Speaker 4 (01:58):
You were with cables, but I get I am a
little bit with electronics to You're right.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
I had that toolbox filled with stuff that went out
of date with dot matrix printers one.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
You know cat one.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
Hey, though, I do what I call a purging like
you talk about, but with everything, and I know you
know this, I really sometimes, to my fault, to my detriment,
I throw things away.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
And I threw out yesterday.
Speaker 4 (02:23):
I threw out three or four wireless not modems, but
wireless routers that I used to use. These things back
when I bought them were two or three hundred bucks.
That's why I hate throwing them out. But they're truly
garbage now. I mean, really there, I know it.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
That's what bothers me is throwing stuff out, because you know,
I can't even give stuff away, and it just pains
me to like throw stuff away. I have stuff that's
hardly used that I throw away this week.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
Listen to this.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
Not only all those routers, I threw away five cell phones.
One of them was this Samsung Galaxy eight gosh eight.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
I don't even know when that probably came out in
eight golly.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
You know, you know, I don't know how many people
are hoarders. I mean, then there's what I call and
I accuse my wife of being a digital hoarder.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Yeah, that's where.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
You've kept every single program you've downloaded. I'm not talking
about the software itself, but the downloadables, the zip files.
You keep them somewhere or the desktop.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
Is just clutter for emails.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
Yep, yeah, yeah, So I like organizing my computers and
my cell phones.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
What about you? Here's I do too. I like organizing
them a lot.
Speaker 4 (03:41):
In fact, in my Troubleshooter mail, I've probably got one
hundred folders. I probably over organized, but I use the
folders all the time. Let me introduce everybody, though, So yes, ahead,
of all, today is a great time to call if
you've been ripped off or taking advantage of Let me
tell you why today is a great day. We have
three and I mean three deputies. We got Deputy Dimitri
(04:05):

then we have Deputy Chopper, who just recovered one thousand
bucks from a cruise ship deal for someone last week.
And then of course my lovely wife Susan, and in
studio with us Joe Keano. We're gonna be talking about
a movie event tomorrow, one hundred percent free for the listeners.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
It's at six thirty pm.
Speaker 4 (04:29):
And I'm not going to get into the details now,
but it's tomorrow, and we're gonna tell you. Oh, I'm sorry, Thursday.
You're right, Joe, I'm thinking I'm already my head's already
on vah. Yeah, it's Thursday. And then of course we
got Shannon sitting across the glass and ax Man answering
your phones. Three oh three, Martino, three oh three, Martino,

Speaker 3 (05:21):

i talk about supplements THAT i talk about everything. Else
what we put into our bodies is, important and what
we do on the outside is important. Too and that's
Why Joe ciano's, here you, know he's, saying.
Speaker 2 (05:34):

you hear us advertise you give us a call right.
Now judy wants to talk about coins and whatever you

Speaker 2 (06:10):
About three h Three martino.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
Three three sixty seven eight four sixty six or the
local iheartline is three oh three seven one.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
Three Talk. Judy what's going on in your? Life what's? Happening, hi.
Speaker 5 (06:24):
EVERYBODY i have a bunch of coins that my husband
AND i inherited from his dad AND i am really
looking to sell most or all of. Them and there's a.
Lot there's like five bins of. Coins, yeah and he
was kind of meticulous in his. Keeping So i'm looking
(06:44):
at like nineteen Seventeen liberty standing. Quarters i'm Talking Nichols penny's,
dimes like all these proof, sets.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
AND i, Know, TOM i wonder if any of, them
besides the actual value of the gold or whatever they,
are if they actually have.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
VALUE i think we should Get mark.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
Up, Yeah, Mark let's let's get him on the. Phone
Mark machowski is from BUDGET a one transmission and auto. Repair, Now,
mark does he have his coin based business on the
refer so.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
Weird let's get up our transmission.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
Expert, yeah so he actually he actually offices out of
there but you got to, understand with rare coins and,
stuff a lot of it is face to face in
the person's, house but.
Speaker 5 (07:36):
More.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
Comfortable, yeah, yeah but he. Is he's.
Speaker 4 (07:38):
Great he's been on the referral list with his transmission shop,
forever but he kind of turned over control to that
to his manager and he really doesn't have much to
do with. That in, fact he might have started selling
it to him or. Whatever but when it comes to,
coins he's been doing it forever and that's his passion
and he will grade him what is he called a
new mo, Something.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
SO i can never pronounce that nomesticism that, yeah you,
know yeah That hey, Listen, mark we have someone on
the referral, list by the, way THAT i found years,
Ago Holland Beck Coin gallery in The.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Springs they're On. Nevada Now i'm.
Speaker 3 (08:16):
Not saying take a drive down, there but maybe call.
Them they do a great job with, coins and then
you may want to make a.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
Meeting they're in The.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
Springs and then someone local that we, again these are
just people we've known over the. Years Rocky Mountain, coin
which Is klaus And Klaus, god he's been around for so.
Long these are just people.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
We Know i've got no problem With, klaus BUT i
would honestly Think mark's a better yeah aspect on, coins you,
know maybe just in.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
General What i'd like to do is Get mark on
to just in general talk about the vintage that you, Have.
Judy let's just say.
Speaker 4 (08:53):
It if we can't get him real, quick let's Get
holland back.
Speaker 2 (08:55):

Speaker 7 (09:02):
Great how are you?
Speaker 2 (09:04):
Good? Good?
Speaker 3 (09:04):
Good you're on With tom And mark and we had
a question about, Coins, judy explain the vintage and the
derivation or the origination of your.
Speaker 5 (09:14):
Coins my father in law purchased and collected lots of.
Coins SO i have proofset roles That i've got This
liberty standing quarters Dated the first one is dated nineteen.
Seventeen it's A v. One i've got probably what DID i, say?
Speaker 3 (09:35):
One?
Speaker 5 (09:36):
Two like at least six bins of coins that are
in protected, cases and LIKE i, said proof. Sets and
SO i just don't know where to start and who
DO i, trust because you, know they could, say, oh
these are worth, anything and you, know and maybe take
them and they are worth something or you, know it
just makes me. Nervous all his hard.
Speaker 8 (09:57):
WORK i really.
Speaker 5 (09:58):
Want to take of these and we'd really like to
cash a lot of them.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
In of, Course well where do we? Start that's the.
Point where do we? Start, Yeah, mar, well to do?
Speaker 6 (10:11):
Well the best way to do it, is you, KNOW
i help so many people out during the. Day you,
know if if she wants to make an appointment with,
me say between with the quantity that she has between
eleven and twelve, ish AND i can reserve her a.
SPOT i am a lifetime member of The American Numismatic
association Of Ultimatter Coin so, Yeah, So.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
Mark is that?
Speaker 3 (10:37):
Business is that business still going? Strong as far as
gold and silver and, coins you.
Speaker 6 (10:44):
Know what's about fifty to fifty fifty percent of it is,
bullion fifty percent is numismatics and.
Speaker 5 (10:52):
Pennies now that we're not making pennies or are they
worth even more now because we're not making.
Speaker 6 (10:58):
Pennies, oh that's gonna be an interesting. Thing what happens
with the.
Speaker 7 (11:02):
Market with no more?
Speaker 6 (11:03):
Pennies you, KNOW i have buckets and buckets and, buckets
five gallon buckets and wheatpennies in the. Garage so we'll
see what happens with.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
Them. Okay, so so when they stop making a, coin
though usually mark doesn't it go up in?
Speaker 6 (11:17):
Value well a tar as. Sweetpennies there's billions and billions
of them out there that people have warded.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
It, okay got, it got.
Speaker 6 (11:27):
It so they're very very very. Common but you, know
you got to find someone that has interest in just
wants to buy wheat. PENNIES i haven't found anyone yet
that wanted to do.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
That all right, now thank, You we have to take this.

do you realize that among us are between us and
then with our, Staff we've used every single every single
sponsor that we talk, about we've.
Speaker 2 (12:54):
Used we've literally used every single.
Speaker 4 (12:56):
Sponsor i'll say there is an exception to, one BUT
i have. Had in, fact right, now he's representing a
good friend of our a good friend of the. Family joel's.
There i've never had to Use. Joe but with the
exception Of, JOE i THINK i have used.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
Everybody.
Speaker 3 (13:12):
Yep and Unfortunately i've Used. Joe, YES i have actually
Consulted joe and he's been. Wonderful so, listen there's SOMETHING
i want to talk about in news about, ebola because
a lot of people are thinking about, ebola or at
least you hear on the. NEWS i swear To, god it's.
Speaker 4 (13:28):
Almost like popping up even on THE Nbc Nightly. News
i'm starting it's starting to not sim or it's starting to.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
Bubble now here's the.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
Deal as far as the Research i've done on numerous
websites THROUGH, AI i was pointed to numerous. Websites but,
basically The World Health organization, says we, do we do
have a public health. Emergency, okay technically now it's a,
widespread not widespread.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
Ebola it seems to be.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
Widespread they say there's very little risk in The United, states,
Okay and the reason is because of how it's. Transmitted
it's not going to be through the air or through just.
Droplets you have to have really hard contact.
Speaker 2 (14:18):
With infected blood or bodily.
Speaker 3 (14:21):
Fluids you have To so that's like a caregiver or
a husband and, wife or a child with.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
Mom it's really it really is hard to get.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
Okay and they don't expect it ever to be a
pandemic like you, know like we've had WITH, covid and
so it's not spread efficiently and they don't expect it to.
Be but this is a real, Deal, okay this has
been around for. Years this is not a scare tactic or,
anything BUT i do think the news loves making more
(14:50):
out of everything when it comes to pandemics and diseases
because of what happened WITH. Covid but in any, case they,
say even if you're right next to somebody, hasibola you're
not going to get it unless you actually actually come
in contact and ingest some fluids of some kind or
they get into your eye or your mouth or something like.
(15:11):
That THE us is doing some enhanced airport, screenings AND
i don't know what that. MEANS i really don't know
what that. Means what are they? Checking what do you
check for enhancement on airport? Screenings there are some temporary
travel restrictions and from people from affected. Countries do you
remember that time When trump tried to do that with
(15:34):
the travel or he did those travel? Restrictions? Man was
he called every name in the book for doing.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
That, man what they're stuck In?
Speaker 4 (15:40):
VEGAS i think it was what was It march Or
may twentieth when he shut down the damn. AIRPORTS i
thought we were going to have to rent a. CAR
i love the, guy but my, GOD i could have
killed him back.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
Then so no active cases in THE, us they say,
so or no active cases of that. One but ebola
is a dangerous. Virus, again the spreading activity is relatively.
Lower the spreading, RISK i should, say is relatively. Low,
now another THING i wanted to talk, about WHICH i
(16:14):
swear To, god we have.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
Heard more and more and more and more and more
of these. COMPLAINTS i don't.
Speaker 3 (16:20):
Know we got to give it a, Name, OKAY i
call them. Aggregators. Okay they're basically fake, businesses, Okay like
you call for a, locksmith they'll have An anglewood phone
number or exchange or A parker, number or they'll have
a number For Colorado springs or Up, north and it
(16:40):
looks like it's a local. Company there is no. Company
it's totally a fake. Company and this is where you'll find. Them.
Mostly you'll find him with. Locksmiths you'll find him with
garage door. Repairs you'll find him with towing, companies especially appliance,
repair and then also the major home services, plumbing, hating, cooling,
(17:02):
electric and. Drains they look like they're in your, community
like right in your, backyard and they give it a
name even and sometimes the name is named for what
community you're searching in the search results come back for
that community and they're not. There they don't have brick and,
mortar they don't even have any, vehicles they don't truly have.
People so when you hire these, aggregators what you're getting
(17:27):
is whoever they, pick so you could have someone with zero.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
Experience so locksmiths are the worst.
Speaker 3 (17:35):
Offender NOW i was told, Again i'm not throwing stones
at these.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
People there's company does that.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
TOO i forget the name of, it but they have
that catchy song and supposedly they're an. Aggregator you call
them for carpeting and they just farm it out to.
Somebody that doesn't mean it's, bad but come, on when
you do business with, THEM i Think Empire. Flooring, yes That's.
Mark that's what the person just texted. Me they thought
(18:07):
That empire was one of those companies that you call
and then they'll just send someone out from a local,
Company Empire.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
Flooring so be. Careful and here's what you have to.
Speaker 3 (18:18):
Do you have to screen companies to make sure that
you have someone you can talk, to you can go back,
to you can get service, from and make sure they
truly are. LOCAL i, Mean i'm not saying you have
to have someone in your backyard to do carpeting or
to do a garage door repair or something like. That
but you definitely want people that are not just throwing
(18:41):
out contracts like movers. Do that's what mover brokers. Do
they just aggregate leads and they're fake. Businesses so like
in speaking of garage, doors Like One Clear Choice Garage, Doors,
okay that Place i've been advertising with for twenty years or.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
More One Clear Choice.
Speaker 3 (18:59):
Doors but a lot of garage door companies are bought
up by giant private equity. FIRMS i don't want to
say private equity is.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
Bad it's not universally.
Speaker 3 (19:12):
Bad there are a lot of, good big companies that
buy up, services but you've got to be. Careful And
One Clear Choice, doors for, Example they've consolidated a lot
of locations or expanded around the, country but they remain
with that hometown feel and you can trust. Them one
Clear choice doores Dot. Com the Reason i'm saying that
(19:33):
is because there are some garage door companies right now
working on your door and avoiding your. Warranty why because
they're not factory. Authorized so you may think you have
this really great warranty on your garage, door and they
come to find out that somebody changed your spring or
worked on the door and they weren't, Authorized you're.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
Screwed that can go for almost.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
Anything make sure you look at the terms and the
condition of. Warranties many times they require certain people work on,
them or they void. Warranties one of the biggest SURPRISES i,
think and Then i'll take this quick, one this quick,
break but is with. Carpeting do you know that incarpet,
(20:16):
warranties most of, them in, FACT i think all of
them have a requirement that you have your carpets professionally,
cleaned professionally or at least once a. YEAR i think it,
is or the warranty is. Void, really you got to
be really careful about, that especially in high traffic areas
they may have more. Frequency but whatever it, is you
(20:38):
have to live by the conditions of a warranty to
make a warranty. Valid don't assume just because you have a,
warranty you have a. Warranty do you know how many
times they Call mark AND i and the very first
Thing mark, says show me the. Warranty they don't even
have a copy of the. Warranty you should ask for
that before you buy. Something ask for the warranty okay
(21:00):
three oh three seven one three talks seven one THREE.

man dot com to list your home With Remax alliance
three oh three nine two zero sixteen twenty. Two Hi Tom,
martino you're a. Troubleshooter so how do you evaluate a
business to make sure it's? Local what would you? Do?
Well obviously you want a phone, number but that a
(22:14):
phone number can be, spoofed or you can get a
phone number for. Anything you want to know where they're. Located,
NOW i don't care if they have a, big beautiful,
office but they should have a physical presence of some,
kind even if they're working a, home and they should
own some of their. EQUIPMENT i want people with skin
in the. Game i'm not looking for an. Aggregator, Okay
(22:35):
so you want someone with equipment or, vans even. Insurance
some places, say or some recommendations are to ask for,
insurance especially if they're working in your. Home what else
would you, Do, Mark how would you verify you have
a real business and not an?
Speaker 4 (22:53):
Aggregator, WELL i would make sure they have a physical.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
ADDRESS i mean that would be one.
Speaker 4 (22:58):
Yes and if it is a guy and his son
working out of the, HOUSE i got.
Speaker 2 (23:02):
No, note no, problem as long as they live here In.
Speaker 4 (23:05):
Colorado AND i would also basically just google them and
search the name On Google maps and then kind of
zoom in on it the, street walk On Google maps
and make sure it's actually.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
There you're, right that's a good. One Google maps is.
Excellent and make sure they're. There what do you do
like For, well that's WHY i love referral. List we've
done all that because WHEN i say to, people check
out a, business you, know we say that a lot
and really references do mean. Something but at the same,
time you, know next door And facebook the two worst
(23:38):
for for. Ripoffs Now i'm not saying that they are
creating the, ripoffs but ripoffs and liars and sheets and
cons love hanging out for some reason On, Facebook marketplace
and next. DOOR i, mean how many times have the
ripoffs that we hear about start On, facebook Mark place
(24:00):
or next door.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
And then even.
Speaker 3 (24:02):
The homeowner, saying, OH i use such and such and
they did a great. Job that could be a phony
deal and actually a phony. Deal, now speaking of, references
that's not a bad thing to. Do ask for, references
but then check. Them do you know how many people
they ask for references but they don't actually check. Them
(24:24):
they just ask for them and they, figure, oh, okay
you got some. References you can actually call and you
can tell them they're fake or. Not after calling two or,
three go.
Speaker 4 (24:32):
Ahead but the worst one to do that, on And
i'm not, kidding is like a nanny or. CHILDCARE a
lot of people will ask for references and they'll never
follow up and you can understand how important that would.
Be you're inviting these people into your house to take
care of your your.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
Child you, KNOW i know, It and so checking with
references is really important now on big jobs and for,
CONTRACTORS i would check with. Suppliers you can actually check
With carrie for, example and, say you, Know i'm thinking
about using Plumb line. Services of, course some of these
names are so established right now you can just trust,
(25:08):
them right you can because they're, Established but that doesn't
mean you're going to find an, established long last business
in every category you. Do one of the worst ripoffs
you'll find our garage.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
Doors.
Speaker 3 (25:21):
Unfortunately the other, one the, biggest is. Locksmiths they find
people when they're desperate and they give you a fake.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
Price on the.
Speaker 3 (25:29):
Phone you'll almost never pay the price they quote on the.
Phone and then appliance, repair and you know appliance repairs very. Difficult,
again you have to ask, questions are you doing your own,
repairs do you actually do the repairs or are you
farming this out to. Someone you want to make sure
that you know who you're dealing. With, man that happens
(25:54):
with so many, things and it's shocking how many people
will give a credit card on the first call just
to lock in a. Place don't do it. Now at
least a credit card is safer than some other kinds of. Calls,
now what would you do in a case like? This
somebody texted me they were at a parking garage and
(26:15):
they went and they pressed a. Button it wouldn't print
out a, ticket just. Wouldn't they heard it, trying but
it would not print out a. Ticket but the gate,
opened so they went. In now later when they were,
leaving it said scan your, ticket and he said he
didn't have. It, Tike he tried to call the. Help
so they pay, Maximum, yeah they. Do but what do
(26:38):
you do in a case like that to prove that
it wouldn't that it didn't print out a? TICKET i,
MEAN i imagine there are cameras on those.
Speaker 4 (26:45):
Things i'm not Gonna let's SAY i got a. Friend
i'll start it like. That okay went into a certain
parking garage downtown by Course, field not realizing the game
was going, on and not realizing not realizing that garage
was like one hundred dollars for about four. Hours so
(27:10):
that friend of mine parked, there and when he went
to leave and it said he owed one hundred dollars
and wanted to credit. Card it wasn't a, person it
was a. Machine you know WHAT i, mean right right?
Right so what that friend of mine did is he
kind of backed up a little and waited for someone
(27:31):
else to get in From, okay and then he or
this friend of mine kaled the other person out very.
Quickly NOW i would never condone anything like, that but
that's the one way to handle.
Speaker 3 (27:45):
It but, truly if you're not cheating and you're fighting
fire with, Fire i'm all for.
Speaker 2 (27:49):
It you, Know i'll tell.
Speaker 3 (27:50):
You i'm just to say this one time in my,
LIFE i truly did break the. OPENER i broke. THAT
i went and you know they're made out of like THE. Pvc,
YES i broke the okay AND i tried to do
it neatly where the joint. Is there was a joint in.
It but it wouldn't do. It the reason, is no
matter WHAT i, did it would not go. Up we
made payment and it just wouldn't go. Up we called.
(28:13):
Help we called, Help we called, help and it was getting.
Late SO i, says you, Know, steph we really need to.
Leave SO i, said this is. ME i want you
to know this is not, working BECAUSE i figured they
were recording And i'm going to try to do as
minimal damage as. Possible AND i told him WHO i,
was AND i just know The italian. Steady but it
(28:35):
showed that there was no like criminal intent or. VANDALISM i,
saying look HERE i am tonight at such and such,
time AND i showed my.
Speaker 2 (28:42):
PHONE i did it like that and never.
Speaker 4 (28:44):
Got called it long ago some, UH i think it
was a pilot did that AT Da you simply couldn't
get out and you just kind of drove.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
Through my, god that's. Weird, yeah that guy got thrown
in the.
Speaker 3 (28:54):
Slammer, yeah, yeah that's, right you would get.
Speaker 2 (28:57):
Thrown, Hey, larry real, quick what is your? Plot what
is your plumber? Question how are you talking to?
Speaker 3 (29:03):

Speaker 3 (29:50):
Seven to, zero five hundred three, Thousand, yeah and zero.
Speaker 4 (29:53):

Laurie what's? Happening what's going, On? Laurie it Was.
Speaker 8 (37:57):
I'm having an issue with some of that happened with
my elderly father company that he last. Year they went
to his door and he hired them or signed a
contract to gutters with, them and then within three days
he did call me and, say you, KNOW i just
don't know IF i really need, them and they're expenses
(38:19):
blah blah. Blah AND i got him out of that,
contract and oh we had an. Episode, YEAH i got
him out of that. Contract then we had an episode
where he hired a sprinkler company and they took off
with his money and two thousand DOLLARS i. Believed so after,
THAT i went and got no soliciting, signs put them
up two of them at his. House and it's been
a year, now and that same company that did the
(38:40):
gutters with, him went back to his house and he
now signed a contract for about forty close to forty
thousand dollars to. Fun then last year it was twenty five.
Speaker 2 (38:52):
Thousands wait a, Minute wait a.
Speaker 3 (38:53):
Minute so they went back and they got him to
sign a forty thousand dollars contract for the utters or
twenty thirty eight thirty eight thirty. Eight, okay hold on a.
Second when did they do?
Speaker 8 (39:05):
This about a year ago almost to the. DATE i
have all the text.
Speaker 2 (39:09):
Signs, man didn't they give?
Speaker 3 (39:11):
Him now, listen because it was a door to door,
sale he should have been given a three day right
to change his.
Speaker 2 (39:17):
Mind but he.
Speaker 3 (39:18):
Didn't he didn't change his.
Speaker 8 (39:20):
Mind he didn't. Know so he's eighty eighty four and
he SO i think that he thinks he's getting a good.
Deal and then they of course offered him zero, percent
is WHAT i. Heard and SO i actually he has
seventy two thousand. EMAILS i, mean there's definitely some cognitive issues,
there and so he will let me have his. PHONE
i was going through his. EMAILS i found that in
(39:41):
voice and it was past the three day. Mark and
then my brother AND i approached him over.
Speaker 2 (39:47):
The, phone AND i called the company.
Speaker 8 (39:50):
IMMEDIATELY i, said you're the same company that went out
there last, year AND i canceled the contract AND i
put on those solictening signs and he, said they don't
care about the no solicening.
Speaker 3 (39:58):
Signs, well they don't, know they don't. Lurie that's not
a legal. Thing they don't have to follow that no.
Soliciting but so so this guy talked your dad into.
It and does your dad feel he's been ripped off
or does he think he has a good.
Speaker 8 (40:11):
DEAL i would say he doesn't say a whole lot
about it because it's. Done it's kind of like it's.
Speaker 2 (40:19):
Done what are you hoping to accomplish right?
Speaker 8 (40:21):
Now, WELL i think he got ripped.
Speaker 2 (40:24):
OFF i, mean well it sounds like. It it sounds
like it.
Speaker 3 (40:27):
To me that you, know just on the, surface it sounds.
Terrible what's the name of the, company AND Deva Exteriors
endeavor and they had, him you, know they had his
number so to.
Speaker 8 (40:42):
Speak, yeah and So i've talked WITH i don't know
what he, is some sort of manager or project. MANAGER
i don't know back what his title. Is i've talked with.
HIM i talked with him last. Year he's the same
PERSON i talked to you last, year and now we're this.
Year and he, says you, know your dad got the
best of the. Best his gutter's the less fifty.
Speaker 3 (41:00):
Years, yeah, well what what good does that do?
Speaker 2 (41:03):
Him let me ask, you, somebody how? Much how many?
Gutters how many linear feet are we talking? About?
Speaker 8 (41:09):
SO i NEED i need so the. CONTRACT i had
a copy of that, contract but it disappeared after two.
WEEKS i THOUGHT i saved. IT i did. NOT i
CAN I, so, somebody do.
Speaker 2 (41:18):
You know how many feet a?
Speaker 6 (41:20):
Copy do we call?
Speaker 2 (41:21):
Him any?
Speaker 8 (41:22):
Seats about? Twenty His, no his house is about to
probably about two thousand square feet and it's a.
Speaker 2 (41:27):
Ranch let's, see let's get a real.
Speaker 4 (41:30):
Price let's call up the guys over At excel and
see what it should.
Speaker 2 (41:34):
Be right? Right?
Speaker 8 (41:36):
WAIT i so, yeah And i've had so since then the. Guy,
Now i'm dealing with the guy, there and he, Said
i'm trying to keep you in the loop to try
and keep things like what.
Speaker 2 (41:44):
Are you dealing?
Speaker 4 (41:45):
Here?
Speaker 2 (41:45):
What what do you want from? Them what are you
what are you asking him to?
Speaker 8 (41:49):
DO i just think he got ripped.
Speaker 2 (41:51):
OFF i, mean, yeah me toof.
Speaker 8 (41:52):
Can you get any money? BACK i don't. KNOW i
just want how much is he hold?
Speaker 2 (41:57):
On how much is he already paid towards that?
Speaker 8 (41:59):
Contract zara percent he had there were percent financing forer a.
Year why he did?
Speaker 2 (42:05):
It that? Complicated financed?
Speaker 7 (42:07):
IT i mean.
Speaker 2 (42:09):
The financing contract with the financing.
Speaker 8 (42:11):
Company you have that it's with it's whoever they.
Speaker 3 (42:14):
USED i do.
Speaker 2 (42:15):
Not is he getting built by the financing?
Speaker 8 (42:18):
Company he will. Be this all happened a week.
Speaker 2 (42:20):
Ago was it? Like was it new gutters in like
a gutter helmet style?
Speaker 8 (42:25):
Products so it was it was gutters and. Soppets And
i've had two people come over because the guy he
left me a voicemail, saying unfortunately we did the final
walkthrough with your dad's. Gutters they look, great but his
roof has a lot of. Issues and So i've had
two roofing people go out there and both of them,
said we could have done this for half that. Cost
(42:47):
and one guy, said he's got commercial. Gutters there's six inch.
Gutters there was no reason he needed those side.
Speaker 2 (42:52):
Gutters that's, right, Right so.
Speaker 8 (42:55):
You've had two people look at. That but, YEAH i
had the, CONTRACT i, THOUGHT i, say and it's not
in my. COMPUTER i looked for the.
Speaker 2 (43:02):
Perimeter the perimeter on this.
Speaker 3 (43:04):
House if it's a two thousand square foot, ranch the
perimeter would have to be one hundred and eighty feet
one hundred eighty, Feet so if you do the math,
here it doesn't look.
Speaker 2 (43:16):
GOOD i, mean how did he get all news offits?
Speaker 8 (43:21):
THAT i don't?
Speaker 3 (43:22):
Know otherwise we're looking at hang, on let's let's back
up for a.
Speaker 2 (43:27):
Second hold. ON d wants the backup.
Speaker 9 (43:30):
Go So Endeavor exteriors hooked them up with a financing, company, right,
yeah the Financing in my experience with dealing with these
referrals to financing, companies the financing company doesn't actually write
a check to the contractor until the work is, completed
so there may still be zero balance in the.
Speaker 2 (43:47):
Sloan in other, words they haven't paid out anything on the.
Speaker 8 (43:50):
Loan, Wendy, NO i.
Speaker 2 (43:53):
THINK i Think d's.
Speaker 4 (43:54):
Right most of these finance, companies until the job's done
and the customer signs off their, status they generally don't
pay the.
Speaker 2 (44:01):
Contract did they ask your dad to sign off?
Speaker 8 (44:03):
ANYTHING i would think they probably, did because HE i
know they did a final walk around and.
Speaker 2 (44:10):
Then normally listen to.
Speaker 3 (44:12):
This the best, gutters they, say would be like fifteen
dollars a foot.
Speaker 9 (44:16):
Installed as a, question at this, point there's no question
the dude got ripped. Off the question now is the
practical approach to this is has the loan been, funded
has the money been? Distributed is there anything in the
paperwork that that endeavor interiors exteriors didn't abide?
Speaker 3 (44:36):
BY i, mean, yes you're gonna have a tough time
getting money backed these people that they're the worst, man
especially because so much time has gone. Through we can
have somebody call them and talk to them and, say,
look what is your?
Speaker 2 (44:51):
Game what are you? Doing why did you do? It
let's let's see that the last fifty.
Speaker 4 (44:57):
Years let's try to get them on and see if
they're proud of charging this guy so. Much BUT i
still want to verify With, excel with the soffits and
everything that goes into.
Speaker 2 (45:07):
It you know what a reasonable price would?
Speaker 3 (45:09):
You, okay NOW i want to get it straight and
we'll look at we need to look at the. Contract
but in, general in, general we're talking about. Gutters but
they did new fashion board under the, gutters, right? Sofits,
okay if they did soffits and. Facia if they'd have
to paint, it, well unless it's unless it's vinyl.
Speaker 2 (45:31):
Code they did paint, it was it?
Speaker 3 (45:34):
Waste? Okay, Wow i'm wondering why they didn't do a
maintenance free product for their sofas and, facia you, know
a siding product so it looks.
Speaker 8 (45:45):
Painted, YEAH i think it's. PAINTED i MEAN.
Speaker 2 (45:48):
I had probably like card board or something mark it could.
Speaker 3 (45:51):
BE i don't know if she. Knows that's the. Problem
we need to see the. Contract so did you get
a copy of the?
Speaker 2 (45:57):
Contract? Yes or?
Speaker 8 (45:58):
No on THAT i had of the. Contract, however it
says in the email is only good for two. WEEKS
i THOUGHT i filed it to save, it but it.
Speaker 2 (46:07):
Is, well you can call them up and get a
copy of it that's not.
Speaker 8 (46:11):
Braced but, YEAH i might have to have him do.
Speaker 9 (46:14):
It but there's one more step THAT i Recommend laurie.
Takes we call or write actually to the financing. Company
they're required to send you to what's called validate a,
debt so they're required to send you the copy of
the financing.
Speaker 2 (46:27):
Contract there's not going to be a problem. There let's.
Speaker 4 (46:30):
Listen we've Got excel roofing. Up let's take a quick,
break come back and see what the pricing should.
Speaker 2 (46:36):
Be but they might need to see the dang contract, too.
Speaker 3 (46:39):
Right, Right but, yeah it's two thousand square foot ranch
And i'm seeing that there's about two hundred linear feet
with a normal.
Speaker 2 (46:45):
Ranch so we'll talk about that coming.
Speaker 3 (46:47):
Up three h three seven to one three Talk Denver
regen dot Com stem Cell.

(47:40):
Hi Tom artino here three oh three seven one three
eight two five five Lour she is calling because her
dad spent a lot of money on some, gutters sofits and.
Facia we're not sure exactly how much or the extent
of the sofas and, fail but it's a two thousand
(48:03):
square foot home and eyes from WHAT i could run,
down it's approximately two hundred linear feet of whatever was
done approximately with a normal two thousand square foot. Ranch
and so she was charged or he was charged thirty eight.
Grand we're trying to figure out if he was taken
(48:26):
advantage of or Whatever henry pricing on, sofas fation and.
Speaker 10 (48:31):
Gutters, Yeah, Tom so that sounds like a really really
high bid to. Me you, know usually with gutters were
probably around twelve dollars and forty cents per linear, Foot
so that's the cost, installed and that can range up
to about forty five dollars for say like a six
(48:51):
inch copper. Gutter and so for two hundred linear feet
there must HAVE i, mean there had to have been
some really severe soffat. DAMAGE i mean that's For. Facia
that's what she, said, Right.
Speaker 2 (49:03):
Yeah did they did they?
Speaker 3 (49:05):
Do if you looked around the, HOUSE, lori does it
look like they're all new soffits In?
Speaker 2 (49:10):
Facia it's like all.
Speaker 8 (49:11):
New SO i didn't walk around the sides of the,
home but the front definitely looked like that looked like
it was all.
Speaker 3 (49:19):
New one of the.
Speaker 8 (49:20):
Roofs the people THAT i had come over to give
him an ustimate on the roof actually got up in
the attic and, said there's SOMETHING i think called baffling
and that he couldn't see any light coming through the
one sofet and he, said you should be able to see,
light but he didn't crawl all the way over, there
and so he had mentioned you might want to call
them and ask them about, that because for all the
(49:42):
money he, paid that should be done.
Speaker 3 (49:44):
Correctly in other, words he didn't see any he didn't
see any evidence of. Venting i'm, Thinking, henry that's WHAT
i think he was talking.
Speaker 8 (49:52):
About usually you can see light through, there like he
would be able to see some light coming through, there
and he said he didn't see. It but he also
didn't crawl out to the the that would have been
over by his, garage so he had it crawl all
the way through there across the top of the.
Speaker 3 (50:04):
Garage what did he say about the job in? GENERAL
i think.
Speaker 8 (50:08):
The job in general is. Fine their reviews online actually
aren't that bad other than that they do not follow no.
Soliciting and then there's people that said they felt like
they're very. Overpriced but as for their, WORK i didn't
find a lot of negative reviews on their, work AND
i told him that's not my.
Speaker 4 (50:25):
Issue, hey, Hey, Henry Hey, henry real, quick if do
you guys ever do facia or do you have someone
else come? Out but if you did it around the
entire house and it was like a hardy board or,
something then you had to have someone, painted private. PAINTED
i assume they did it. Right how much has that
a line your?
Speaker 2 (50:41):
Foot? Do you?
Speaker 10 (50:42):
Know you, know it really, depends but it's definitely not that.
Much you, know each keep, material especially when there's damage like.
Leaking each project is so. Different it depends if there's
been a lot of water sheet of the.
Speaker 3 (50:56):
Backside she did say he has six sat. Shcutters is that, Right, Laurie.
Speaker 8 (51:02):
Yeah that's What one of the roofing companies told me
that he had six inch s gutters and he said
they usually do do those more like on a commercial
type of theasis and that he didn't really feel his
weprop like he did not need. Those and both of
them said they probably could have done that job for
about twenty. THOUSAND i, mean they definitely have more of
(51:22):
an eye for that THAN i.
Speaker 2 (51:23):
Do but that was.
Speaker 3 (51:25):
Yeah but, listen here's the. Deal Huh, god what did you, Say.
Speaker 10 (51:30):
Henry we normally do six inch gutters because they have
their higher flow and so less debrises trapped in, them.
Speaker 2 (51:38):
So that's not a bad. Idea our average.
Speaker 10 (51:41):
Six inchcutter system is like thirty five hundred, bucks so
for you, know two hundred linear, feet that's that's Pretty
i'm just trying to understand how they got that.
Speaker 2 (51:50):
Number, okay what part of town are?
Speaker 3 (51:53):
You And.
Speaker 8 (51:53):
Laurie i'm In Castle, rock but he is In.
Speaker 2 (51:56):
Littleton he's In. Littleton his houses In.
Speaker 3 (52:00):
LITTLETON i would, LOVE i would love to get a
look at it along with the contract and just see
if they're proud of the price they, charged and then
we if they're proud of, it we can advertise it for.
Him we can, say, look this is what this guy
got for thirty eight, grand and this is what you'll
get if you hire. ENDEAVOR i love me many, times many,
(52:21):
times just shining a light on the result does. ENOUGH i,
mean do you, Think, laurie obviously they came back to
him because they had a contract with him once before
that you. Canceled how much was that previous contract for.
Speaker 8 (52:38):
Twenty five five dollars according to the text MESSAGES i
have from my, father.
Speaker 2 (52:43):
And what was and what was that previous contract For?
Laurie what was the previous?
Speaker 8 (52:47):
CONTRACT i believe so it was more than gutters BECAUSE
i called them and told THEM i thought that they're
way over. Priced AND i believe they said that might
have Been saucets, Too and UNFORTUNATELY i do not have that.
Speaker 2 (52:57):
Contract but let's let's.
Speaker 4 (52:59):
Spy, actually let's do two. Things hold, on Ax, man
there's too many questions. Here for all we know there
was rotted. STUFF i, MEAN i don't. Know but Ax,
man let's try to get in Devor on during the
break and let's ask them about. It then you've got
to track down these contracts for us and get them
over so we can see what you were charged.
Speaker 8 (53:18):
For, YEAH i don't think THAT i. CAN i don't
know IF i have right to get the copied.
Speaker 2 (53:24):
Up, First, well have your dad get it with. Them
you know, what.
Speaker 3 (53:28):
If the first contract doesn't, matter it was. Canceled the
first contract doesn't, matter the only thing that matters.
Speaker 4 (53:34):
You the second maybe you've got a three way call
with your dad or, whatever but here's the bottom.
Speaker 2 (53:38):
Line you got to advocate a. Little we need. Something.
Now how old is your, Dad? Lorie eighty?
Speaker 3 (53:45):
Four, Okay so they should be willing to give that
contract to you for you to review, it or he
should be able to ask for. It does he know
that you're looking into? This?
Speaker 8 (53:57):
Yes, yeah he.
Speaker 2 (53:58):
Does what does he? Think what does he?
Speaker 8 (54:00):
Think he just asks like the job is. DONE i
mean he that's kind of like the job is. Done
i've told him over and over and. OVER i don't
care if you get their card or. Whatever don't sign
contracts at the, door which is what he's.
Speaker 3 (54:14):
Doing, yeah or without people know. THAT i, mean this
is going to be a really really bad for. HIM
i MEAN i know that they want their, independence but,
man at some, point these older people and. Listen i'm
one of the lower end of the, older, RIGHT i
Mean i'm seventy.
Speaker 2 (54:32):
Two but at some, point.
Speaker 3 (54:35):
At some, point if someone told, me, Hey, tom you
know you're you're signing too many. Things you know you
got to you gotta listen and you have to give
in to your to. WHOEVER i mean you got to
tell him that he should run everything by.
Speaker 2 (54:52):
You what's keeping him now from.
Speaker 3 (54:54):
Signing let's, say if they went back for another, contract
does he know enough not to do another one or?
Speaker 8 (55:00):
Not, no he could do another. One he he doesn't
recall anything about the contract a year. Ago he wanted
me to send him evidence of, it AND i sent
him all the text. MESSAGES i, Said, dad you sent
me the number and the name of the person That
i'm talking to this time that was there a year.
Ago SO i sent him all. That he emailed me
back and, said, WOW i don't remember any of. It
(55:20):
neither does his.
Speaker 3 (55:21):
Wife and so there's oh, wait his wife is there.
Too he has a wife.
Speaker 8 (55:25):
There his wife is.
Speaker 3 (55:26):
There oh, yeah what does she think about?
Speaker 2 (55:29):
It she.
Speaker 8 (55:30):
Doesn't so she is about the same level cognitively that.
Speaker 2 (55:36):
He that's, horrible all, Right so, yes honestly see what they.
Say all?
Speaker 4 (55:40):
Right hold, on, wait hold, on, THOUGH i want to
Beat henry up real. Quick let me bring him back.
Speaker 2 (55:45):

Speaker 9 (58:10):
There the reviews on both the op And google are
pretty good four point six to four point seven on,
average so, THEY i, mean they really don't seem to

Speaker 2 (58:19):
Dirt it's been a lot more work involved that we

Speaker 9 (58:22):
About, YEAH i mean it's definitely one of those cases
that needs a deeper, look like we have to have

the sheer.
Speaker 2 (58:30):
Size of the, job the dollar. Volume that's a lot of.
Speaker 3 (58:34):
MONEY i, mean being familiar somewhat with home, improvements that
is a lot of. Money and that ring a bell
for me when when she said thirty eight thousand dollars
and you know you have even with sofets and facia and,
gutters you could Hear henry over At excel trying to
come up with that. Amount now again it's six inch,
(58:55):
gutters But excel said they would use six inch as,
well and there's nothing wrong with, That So i'm not
these guys didn't oversell him if he needed.

have to be proactive with older.
Speaker 2 (59:33):

Speaker 3 (59:36):
BECAUSE i, know as we're getting older and people are
offering to, help even me at this age with the,
sickness that all we're going to.

FAULT i still had him on the screen Of rus's
coming on. Tomorrow we'll Get, oh he's coming. Out he's
not out there for, tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (01:00:11):
Okay three oh three seven one three talks seven one
three eight two five. Five so listen what you have to.
Do And i'm serious because this is happening a. Lot
when you have someone in charge of a checkbook of
their own and they are starting to get a little,
wobbly you need to take some. Action you need to
(01:00:33):
have a hard talk with him and, say, look let's
make your stuff. Safe, okay keep most of it in
a savings, account and then have a small checking account
for household, things small checking, account and then for larger
things you have to have transfers from savings over and
(01:00:53):
at least have some threshold by which you get, involved
so they won't be signing checks for more than less
a five grand or.
Speaker 2 (01:01:01):
Something there are a lot.
Speaker 3 (01:01:04):
Of solicitors their All their only job is to get
the person at the door to say. Yes they do
anything they can to get the person to say. Yes
and then you think you're agreeing to. Stuff and the,
newest the newest trend and it's not that. NEW i
don't want to sound like one of these guys who
is impressed with something that's been around a, while but
(01:01:26):
it is a.
Speaker 2 (01:01:26):
Trend is signing on an.
Speaker 3 (01:01:29):
iPad people sign on either an iPad or a smart
pad of some kind and that's. It they don't get a.
Copy they, say, oh it will be. EMAILED i like, It,
well you may like, it but they don't even know
what they're.
Speaker 4 (01:01:43):
Signing, yeah, YEAH i, mean you're you're talking people that
don't know what they're. Signing BUT i, mean, actually what
would be the difference if they actually had a piece
of paper there for you to?
Speaker 3 (01:01:53):
Sign, well What i'm saying is you get a. Copy
many times we, say they, say, well this wasn't part
of the. Deal they this was supposed to be thrown
in with the. Deal AND i, say, okay show me
where it says, that and they, say we don't have a.
Copy so that's where it would come in handy to
find out what was included in the deal or what
(01:02:13):
was not included in the, deal or how they change
how they handle change orders or. Whatever so it would
be just be a good. Reference it wouldn't change things
if you agreed to something and it's you, know, no
it's not going to change, anything but it will give
us an accurate.
Speaker 4 (01:02:31):
Reference many, times we're such a paperless society now. THOUGH
i just those days are over, everything SO i just
had like fix it. Out i've used, plumbline all these
people on our referral, list they're great. Companies they all use,
them AND i get an email soon as you sign
it and they finish.
Speaker 2 (01:02:48):
IT i always get an, email right and maybe she,
did but she can't find. It those are companies we
know and, love or maybe he did get. One but
here's the.
Speaker 3 (01:02:58):
Thing, people if you're signing on a, pad you have
to see what you're signing the terms and. Conditions many
times they just give you the pad and it's on
the signature, page or you can't, scroll or you don't
scroll up to see what the price is and what
the promises. Are it is, very very. Intimidating it is
(01:03:19):
when an iPad is shoved in your hand and say,
here here's the. Contract it's very. Difficult you have to
go through every page and you don't even know if
those pages are truly connected to that.
Speaker 2 (01:03:32):
Contract really you. Don't you have.
Speaker 3 (01:03:34):
To that's, why As mark, said you have to go
with a, company a trust to begin. With because with digital,
contracts more than, ANYTHING i think it's easier to switch
out pages than it is with. Paper you, know when
you sign something out the door with paper and they
left you with a, copy, okay they left you with a,
(01:03:55):
copy they could not go and then change the terms
and conditions with. Prices right, now on the, iPad you
can sign something on the iPad with the promise that
the email's, coming and that could be intercepted and. Changed
it's easy and you wouldn't. Know, now even if they
have a program that won't allow them to do, it
you don't know that you have to you have to
(01:04:18):
test the integrity of their. Program there are no standards.
There there's no program that has a standard in the.
INDUSTRY i mean docu sign doesn't have a standard as
far as what you see and what you don't see
and what you. Get that's why it all boils down
to the. Company but a lot of.
Speaker 4 (01:04:36):
These tom they've Been in, Fact dmitri might even be
able to answer this just because all the research he
does on. Court BUT i would assume over the, years
people have argued in, court a, court a law and
said president over these things like doc, sign AND i
know they stand just like any other. Contract they absolutely.
Speaker 3 (01:04:54):
Do My my thing is not that they don't stand.
Up it's that a person signing in their home an
iPad doesn't necessarily take the time to scroll that.
Speaker 2 (01:05:08):
Document you're, thinking the only ARGUMENT i.
Speaker 4 (01:05:10):
HAVE i understand what you're, saying especially with older people
that just aren't used to, It but in, GENERAL i
would say those same people if there was fifteen sheets
of paper in front of, them like a, mortgage how
many people sat down at a closing table during a
mortgage and read.
Speaker 3 (01:05:26):
Everything, no you're, right but here would be the difference
if she called and said or if somebody called and
said they were supposed to do that garage as part
of the. Foundation lifting the garage was supposed to be
part of. It AND i, Said, okay where's the contract
and they, say we don't have a. Copy So i'm
(01:05:46):
not saying that the contract will say what they wanted to,
say but at least we have a reference and we
can say to, Them, look nowhere in this contract does
it say they're going to lift the garage along with
the rest of the. House that's All i'm talking. About
this is something for. Reference we just seem to have
so many times people don't have a reference to what
(01:06:08):
they signed and it's frustrating to them. Anyway, again it's really, Important,
yeah no matter what, break It's, yeah it's really important
that you trust who you're dealing.

Speaker 2 (01:07:18):
Man what's? Happening Hey?
Speaker 6 (01:07:21):
Tom how are you?
Speaker 2 (01:07:22):
Good? Man i'm doing?
Speaker 3 (01:07:23):
Well thank? God what's going on with? You?
Speaker 6 (01:07:27):
SO i had my roof. Inspected basically WHAT i was trying.
Speaker 7 (01:07:32):
To do is get some permanent lighting up on my
house and they told ME i had roof and sighting.
Damage SO i just want to know how DO i
go about doing. THIS i know you always say not
to let my insurance company talk with.
Speaker 3 (01:07:45):
Like your car, right not, upfront not? UPFRONT i would
WANT i want a roofer. First, Okay Now i'm not
telling you that they all do. That we have people
on our referral list that prefer to walk with the
adjuster from the. BEGINNING i don't like, that BUT i
(01:08:05):
can trust the ones that do it here only BECAUSE
i know.
Speaker 2 (01:08:08):
Them but if you're.
Speaker 3 (01:08:10):
Doing it in, GENERAL i don't like that adjuster meets
with the roofer and they decide without you knowing what
you're getting and what you should be getting and what
you're not. Getting SO i want to know right off the,
bat what do you THINK i? Need THEN i want
to compare that with what the adjuster SAYS i.
Speaker 2 (01:08:31):
Need so if they, agree that's.
Speaker 3 (01:08:33):
Great but what if what if the roofer THOUGHT i
needed something and like new, flashing and the adjuster, says
we're not paying for, it so then the roofer, Said,
okay we can do without. It don't you want to?
Know i'm asking you, now there's no right. Answer wouldn't
you want to know that the roofer thought you may
(01:08:54):
need it and that the adjuster said.
Speaker 2 (01:08:56):
No wouldn't you want to know?
Speaker 3 (01:08:57):
That? Yeah, yes, Yeah so that's WHY i like excel.
Roofing they'll do it either, way BUT i like excel
roofing going to my house and doing a walk around
and telling me WHAT i.
Speaker 2 (01:09:12):
Need by the, way you know you can get a.
Speaker 3 (01:09:15):
Price, yeah you can get a price on their website as,
well but they. Don't but that doesn't account for how
much of the. Roof you may not need the whole roof,
replaced or you might only need some repairs. Done so
that's WHERE i like to get a professional. First then
then you call the company when you know you have,
(01:09:36):
something but you know not all damage is a. Claim So,
mark what did these lighting? People are they? Roofers by the,
Way were they trying to get a job from?
Speaker 7 (01:09:45):
You, no they were actually just the permanent lighting. People
they sent me they when they got up, there they
showed me pictures one of the fighting where it meets my.
Speaker 6 (01:09:54):
Roof there's a.
Speaker 7 (01:09:55):
Hole in it and it's peeling away from the. House

Right now there was a woman who was working or
a guy who was working for his landlord getting a
break on.
Speaker 2 (01:13:45):
Rent that was a weird. One, yeah but then lost the.
Speaker 3 (01:13:48):
Discount you, see whenever you make a, deal you better
have a contingency if they don't need you.
Speaker 2 (01:13:53):
Anymore we Had brad O'Brien address.
Speaker 3 (01:13:56):
That but you have to have that written in, there because,
truly if working for a landlord is part of your,
rent you have to have something to address when you
don't work for the, landlord how much of the rent is.
Offsets they can't arbitrarily make it.
Speaker 2 (01:14:12):
Up And i'm.
Speaker 4 (01:14:14):
SORRY i wanted to jump in on some BECAUSE i
want to talk about it last hour and we. Didn't,
Okay So Graham, platner this, guy this guy is running
for The senate In, maine AND i just want to
say some of the things he has said that are absolutely.
Speaker 2 (01:14:31):
Crazy he's attacked THE Us army as an.
Speaker 4 (01:14:33):
Organization here's the, quote full of, fat lazy trash who
would rather not be in. Uniform and despite his, harshness
he argued that military members ARE i don't even like
reading that part of. It and then he mocking a
wounded soldier that got shot of Purple heart. Recipient he
(01:14:55):
criticized the soldier's battlefield tactics in a showing him shot
by The, taliban stating the dumb mff or didn't deserve to.
Live and then this guy actually HAD i guess a
tattoo on his chest that was A nazi, symbol and
when he ran and people started bringing it up and criticizing,
(01:15:18):
it he went out and got a.
Speaker 2 (01:15:20):
Change SO i don't want to just talk about. Him
WHAT i really.
Speaker 4 (01:15:23):
Wanted to ask, You, tom is when does someone's, past
because here's what he. Says he, SAYS i was, ENLISTED
i served this, COUNTRY i HAD, ptsd and those were
THINGS i might have, said might have, thought but it
was because of my. Illness and Now i'm a change.
Man blah blah blah. Blah you, know SO i.
Speaker 3 (01:15:43):
Do BUT i do believe people can, change but it's
got to be shown in their actions and in what they,
do like not just a sudden change because you want
to run for. Office exactly what has he what has
he been doing over the subsequent, years really tells a.
Story people are known by their. FRUITS i mean truly they.
(01:16:03):
Are they can say anything they, want you, know and
most people. Do they they espouse a religion or a
faith or some kind of, philosophy and then they live
opposite of. That of that excuse. Me so what they
need to do is really look at his. Actions AND
i know nothing about this, guy BUT i can't believe
(01:16:26):
that he's.
Speaker 2 (01:16:27):
Even in the. Running it's.
Speaker 4 (01:16:28):
Amazing in twenty twenty, four speaking about, Him plattner think about.
This just a couple of years, ago he accused deceee
Sniper Chris kyle of inflating his kill, counts and that
was another decorated service.
Speaker 2 (01:16:45):
MEMBER i, mean this, GUY i don't.
Speaker 4 (01:16:48):
KNOW i don't know why The, democrats that's, right put.
Speaker 2 (01:16:51):
Up with things like. This it's. Amazing this cannot be.
Speaker 4 (01:16:55):
MAINSTREAM i realize this guy is one step from basically
a k immunist or a, socialist and that's why they
want him up. THERE i get, that But i'm sure
they can find a socialist or a communist that's not
such a.
Speaker 3 (01:17:10):
JERK i, Mean Bernie sanders likes. Him Bernie sanders does.
Speaker 2 (01:17:14):
Like Bernie sanders was on his knees praising.
Speaker 9 (01:17:16):
Him did you read what he said just a couple
of days ago about what he likes to do in porta?
Speaker 2 (01:17:21):
Parties oh, GOD i know. What, Yeah mark didn't bring it.
UP i don't know IF i, should but it.
Speaker 4 (01:17:27):
Was he got to say it in a, Way, yeah,
YEAH i can do it in a, yell or do
it in a way that is.
Speaker 9 (01:17:35):
A vide him came out a couple of days ago
where he says that he cannot resist the urge to
masturbate every time he answers The porta pis come on?
Speaker 2 (01:17:46):
Long and it did he say that? RECENTLY i don't
know when he said. It the video is just recently.
Speaker 4 (01:17:53):
Uncovered, yeah so as they dive, deeper stuff like that is.
Everywhere we know who this guy. Is we knew who
he was for. Sure BUT i come back and say
the same thing now you. Have AND i love whoever
Said Bernie. SANDERS i, MEAN i just Saw Bernie sanders
literally praising this.
Speaker 2 (01:18:09):
GUY i know just who praises this kind Of so.
Speaker 3 (01:18:13):
DOES AOC aoc likes?
Speaker 2 (01:18:15):
HIM i, mean, look in my, Lifetime i've had too
much to.
Speaker 4 (01:18:18):
Drink i've done different things in my life and said stupid.
Things there's no one that walks this earth that hasn't
said something. Stupid BUT i have never criticized people. EVER
i don't. Care it wouldn't even come out of my.
MOUTH i can't imagine criticizing people that signed up to
serve this country in any. Fashion AND i can't imagine
(01:18:39):
saying anything like that about a porta.
Speaker 2 (01:18:41):
Potty it's just.
Speaker 3 (01:18:43):
WILD i, KNOW i know it's it is. Crazy but
here's the THING i find. THAT i think you have
a situation where people in The Democratic party are so
afraid of the fringe that they won't criticize them because
they don't want to be, canceled or they don't want
to be called out and they're not ready for that.
(01:19:04):
BATTLE i just think they, figure you know, what you,
know our party is a big. Party we can handle.
It and they know that they have to pull in the.
Fringe that's where they're getting their. SUPPORT i, mean.
Speaker 2 (01:19:18):
You have out and.
Speaker 3 (01:19:19):
Out you know all of these teen mobs for, example
do you think these teen mobs come From do you
think they come from conservative? Households, no, seriously, no all
of this lawlessness comes From it is the party of.
Speaker 4 (01:19:34):
Lawlessness even the mayor Of chicago today or yesterday, said,
look parents got to step up here and let me
tell you. Something you, know and this guy's about as
left as a guess he. GOES i got a, son
and guess WHAT i knew where he was last. Night
we know where our kids. ARE i can't believe these
people let their kids run. CRAZY i just can't believe.
(01:19:55):
It do you realize one of these morons had a?
Flamethrower a flame? THROWER i, KNOW i know.
Speaker 2 (01:20:02):
It and here's the. EVERYTHING i want to bring this.
Speaker 4 (01:20:05):
Up and we are diving a little into, politics AND
i promise we'll get to the. Phones but listen to.
This that DNC's autopsy. Report you, know the one thing
they had to, do this big. Autopsy why they lost
so bad in twenty twenty, four so they had to do.
It then it's been done. Forever there's been a lot
of pressure to release. It they finally release.
Speaker 2 (01:20:23):
It you.
Speaker 4 (01:20:24):
Know the most amazing thing THAT i do not think
is in. THERE i could be, WRONG i don't Think i'm.
Wrong the fact That Joe biden could barely, walk had
no idea what he was. Saying the fact that their
candidate before they switched To harris was, incompetent that's not in.
There their biggest problem Was Joe. Biden and for whatever,
(01:20:45):
Reason Joe biden isn't in the. Report it doesn't say,
you we learned that we shouldn't run somebody that can't even.
Talk they don't even talk about the debate Where trump
looked at him and, GOES i don't know what he,
said AND i don't THINK i know what he.
Speaker 2 (01:21:01):
Said they don't even talk about. It that was the
move right.
Speaker 4 (01:21:05):
There that was the biggest thing that crashed that election for.
Speaker 2 (01:21:08):
Him And i'll be damned they're.
Speaker 4 (01:21:10):
Autops your report doesn't talk about the number one.
Speaker 2 (01:21:14):
Issue they're. Morons, well you, know here's the.
Speaker 3 (01:21:18):
DEAL i think that you vote with your with your
vote with your dollars. Too and right, now though we're
not having we have consumer sentiment at its slowest, mark
and that's there for you, know if it was at
its slowest ever Under, biden we would be calling Out.
Speaker 2 (01:21:37):
Biden but what do we say about? That, no, no, No
i'm Not.
Speaker 4 (01:21:40):
NO a lot of people think this war needs to.
Happen and the only reason there's any kind of negative
right now is because of the. War when it, ends
it will drastically. Change AND i think it's going to end.
Speaker 10 (01:21:51):
Soon you think it.
Speaker 3 (01:21:52):
All comes down to that, now the, one by the,
way at The Michigan war one.
Speaker 4 (01:21:57):
Case, look, hey You're Martino capital that you're making, money
hands over fists for people right. Now the stock market
has never, ever ever been.
Speaker 3 (01:22:07):
Better, Yeah but What i'm talking about is this The
university Of michigan's sentiment index that is a leading. Indicator
what that means is people feel this way for a
while and then act on. It but you're, Right, mark
people are making money right now all.
Speaker 4 (01:22:23):
OVER i have zero AND i mean zero support for
any polls out there. Now And i'll tell you right,
oh oh my, GOD i lived it in twenty and twenty.
Speaker 2 (01:22:33):
Four let's go back to.
Speaker 4 (01:22:34):
SIXTEEN i swear To god every pole in the world
for twenty, no, no. No for sixteen and twenty Four
trump was going to. Lose there was one crazy one
that said he was going to lose.
Speaker 2 (01:22:45):
By like a landside. Life he was going to Lose.
Florida For god's. Sake when it comes To trump and,
polls people.
Speaker 3 (01:22:52):
Lie but this Isn't this isn't About. Trump this is
Consumer so what you.
Speaker 4 (01:22:57):
Call it democrat it is it is they want to
say anything.
Speaker 3 (01:23:01):
Negative, okay that could be because a sentiment is basically
how you feel about, stuff your, finances your, job, inflation buying,
conditions the overall.
Speaker 2 (01:23:12):
Economy and it's never been this. Low it's an. Index
it's a little.
Speaker 3 (01:23:18):
Different than they're not saying because Of, trump but you're
saying it's a vote Against. Trump when they're asked this
and they have a chance to say something, negative they
want it to be Against. Trump they want it to
be low to show what a bad job he's. Doing
is that what you're, Saying that's exactly What i'm. Saying
and then you take the other side a lot of
(01:23:40):
times he'll just lie LIKE i.
Speaker 2 (01:23:42):
DO i, mean you'll simply.
Speaker 4 (01:23:43):
LIE i take polls anytime they, call long AS i
got the five or six, minutes but.
Speaker 2 (01:23:47):
They here's what they.
Speaker 3 (01:23:48):
Asked by the, way are you financially better or worse
off than a year? Ago will you do better or
worse from a year? Ago in? Investments are your business
can do expected to improve or? Worsen and is now
a good time to buy big ticket items like cars or?
Appliances are you going to hold? Off what do you
(01:24:09):
expect inflation to? Do a lot of this is really
seat of the. Pants and you're saying people tend to
be negative if they Hate trump And trump is in.
OFFICE i can see. That so the sentiment is our
guy is in an office or our, gal and we
want better things to.
Speaker 10 (01:24:24):
Come so.
Speaker 4 (01:24:25):
Whateter we've talked and joked about. This i'm taking a
few deep breats, here but it's. TRUE tds is so.
Real there are people out there if he cured, cancer
would hate the. Man they would somehow blame him for
not doing it quick. Enough it doesn't. Matter it's absolutely,
insanity AND i don't know. Why it's worse than EVER
(01:24:49):
i have no idea. WHY i know a lot of
liberals Hated, bush a lot of them Hated. REAGAN i
don't know why they Hate trump so. Much, besides he
was one of, them was one of The hollywood. Insiders
he donated to a lot Of. Democrats but as he,
grew as he, matured he became A, republican and he
pissed half of them off as.
Speaker 3 (01:25:10):
WELL i don't know why he's so. DIFFERENT i want
to know this. AGAIN i just want to know. This
what will they have to put out? There what are
their policies when it is not just Hating. Trump i've
the guys that text me every day here about how
Bad trump. Is ALL i ask him is, this tell
me what you're? Proposing what you? Know what are you
(01:25:31):
gonna do when it's not just about hating? Him you,
know you, Know that's ALL.
Speaker 2 (01:25:36):
I want to.
Speaker 4 (01:25:36):
Know sees in, fact who are the two running? Now
who's running for?
Speaker 2 (01:25:40):
Governor?
Speaker 4 (01:25:40):
Here his entire ad Is i'm going to go After.
Trump i'm gonna Stop, Trump, Trump, Trump Trump. Trump he
says nothing about being governor For. Colorado it's absolutely. Crazy
the guy literally says nothing for thirty seconds in THAT tv.

me apologizing for our wheel falling. Off basically while we
were driving and they're going to send a.
Speaker 3 (01:27:26):
Check what were they saying at first Before chopper got, involved.
Speaker 7 (01:27:32):
That they.

Speaker 2 (01:28:20):
Okay good. Camera so you.
Speaker 3 (01:28:23):

Speaker 4 (01:28:30):

POSITIVE i thought they, sold BUT i don't know his
sons were involved, too, Right, yeah it.
Speaker 2 (01:28:44):

Speaker 4 (01:28:44):
Deal it was THE i want to Say, Burshetta Larry
burshetta by something like.
Speaker 3 (01:28:48):
That when are they going to when are they going?
To did they say they're going to send a? Tech?
Speaker 11 (01:28:55):
Yes they, did, well they. Did, Yes and she said
he was the new, manager that he had spoken To
shopper and was very. Apologetic, okay they would mail a.
Speaker 6 (01:29:09):
Check this was five.
Speaker 12 (01:29:11):
Hundred and thirty five dollars for.
Speaker 2 (01:29:13):
Repairs nice. Job, yeah, yes.
Speaker 3 (01:29:20):
Excellent we appreciate. That thank you very much for letting
us know tamor tell people when they need help to
call three h Three. Martino we love helping and we
love talking about helping because it helps. Others so thank
you and that is breaks. Plus, listen we do get
complaints about. Them we don't get that many for how
(01:29:41):
many locations they, have but we do get. Them and
speaking of getting, complaints that is a good thing we can.
Do we can be a sounding. Board so if you
call us and say have you heard about? This have
you heard about? That i'm telling you most of the,
time the big troublemakers we've heard about and we'll warn
you about.
Speaker 2 (01:29:58):
Him for.
Speaker 3 (01:29:58):
Sure so be careful when you when you you, know
want to do.
Speaker 2 (01:30:05):
Business, okay be.
Speaker 3 (01:30:06):
Careful don't just look on not, YouTube, facebook, marketplace or
don't look at at.
Speaker 2 (01:30:15):
You, know neighborhoods that whatever the hell the name of.
Speaker 3 (01:30:18):
THAT i hate these. Places they just do such a
bad job at screening, people especially when they say they
use the, company and when they say they use them
and they really. Didn't there are fake customers out there
on social media saying they used a, company or they
go on and get free things for saying they used a.
(01:30:40):
Company so just be careful on nextdoor is WHAT i
wanted to. Say not, neighborhood but nextdoor is like one
of the WORST i read every day on nextdoor about
people getting just just getting their faces ripped.
Speaker 2 (01:30:54):
Off and that's.
Speaker 3 (01:30:55):
Important so also we were talking about fake, companies the
ones that aren't even a real. Company but what they
do is they aggregate their lead. Aggregators so you call
them for something like locksmith or something whatever it, is
and then the person they send they have no idea
who they're. Sending these people literally could be sitting in
(01:31:16):
a basement In florida or In vegas on a computer making.
Money by claiming they own a company and they're going
to send someone out to help you and some, freelancer
and that freelancer doesn't know, you they don't, care they
don't give, warranties or if they, do they're not any.
Speaker 2 (01:31:35):
Good and it's just a terrible way.
Speaker 3 (01:31:37):
To do business with these lead, aggregators and The state
Of colorado says they're cracking down on them on fake
businesses and the categories Are AS i said, Before locksmith's
is the number one garage door, repair towing, companies appliance, repair,
plumbers and hvac. Repair be careful when you're getting a personal, recommendation.
Speaker 2 (01:32:03):
Asked straight, up did you actually use this?
Speaker 3 (01:32:06):
Company and if they say, no a friend of mine
did and they raved about, it don't do. It only
take first person recommendations when they've actually used the. Company
find out what they did for, them what they, charged
and make sure they're real. Customers it's, listen it's rough out,
there and, unfortunately we are in a situation now that
(01:32:28):
we haven't been in SINCE i first started doing the. Show,
okay WHEN i first started doing this show forty five years,
ago we were in a situation where most people in
business were trying to rip you, off, okay and then
it got to be where only a few people are
trying to rip you. Off now it's starting to grow.
(01:32:49):
Again there's becoming more of a chance of getting ripped
off than not in certain. Categories, unfortunately when it comes
to contractors have a better chance of being ripped off
than not being ripped. Off THREE o three seven one

Two Hi Tom martino here THREE o three seven one
three talk seven one THREE a two five. Five so
let's go to the. Phones we want to hear from
you if you lie to, cheated ripped off and just
(01:34:02):
need just need to let people know about. It further
on these fake businesses they actually go on and some
of them do fake reviews, obviously and even fake, locations
so you got to be careful of that they, actually you,
know show a location that's not. Theirs it's just getting
(01:34:24):
harder and harder with technology to get things. DONE i,
mean the right way it really. Is it's not making things,
easier it's making things almost. Harder now there is something
that is bugging the heck out of me BECAUSE i
was looking to do in some video AND i do
a lot of video on the side here for various
(01:34:47):
BUSINESSES i have and, endeavors and this whole idea OF
ai Video i'm not talking. About this is What i'm
not talking. About i'm not talking about taking a still
pick sure of you and making it dance and chat
with you, know or making you look like a squirrel
with squirrel cheeks or. Whatever, Okay i'm talking about a
(01:35:11):
REAL ai video where it's touted to be like a.
Video you hear people say someday these are going to
Make they're gonna make what do you call a whole
motion Pictures and what they're gonna do is they're going
to next. Year, yeah, yeah, well, yeah AND i believe
(01:35:32):
they can do. It it's painstakingly hard and it's not what
they think they make it. Sound, Now, Mark i've done
so much research on, this and they make it sound
like you put in a prompt and you get some fantastic,
scene or you can make a, movie And i'm.
Speaker 2 (01:35:49):
Telling you that's not the. Case. Now you can.
Speaker 3 (01:35:52):
Make some graphics for a piece you're, doing you can
do some.
Speaker 4 (01:35:57):
Monologue we're telling you next year it's Like rock five
Or groc. Six right now they're on, four but they're
saying you can sit down. Here i'll give you an easier.
One you can sit down and basically script A seinfeld.
Episode you have to provide the characters right. Now but
it will literally you just give, it not even a.
(01:36:18):
Screenplay you give an idea of what you want and
it'll figure it out and it can base it upon
something that's already. Existed for the, input it's gonna and
it's gonna look you would never know the.
Speaker 2 (01:36:29):
Difference but right, now.
Speaker 3 (01:36:30):
Let's say you wanted to do a, commercial right you
want to do a thirty second, spot and you write
a script or you have them help you write a.
Script there's nowhere WITH ai right. Now it's ALL i
don't care what they say on. YouTube there is no
service right now that can do a flawless, video not
even partially. Fallless they first of, all every word is usually,
(01:36:52):
misspelled body parts are missing from people if you, truly
truly look at the end. Result we don't have the
ease OF ai video like people. Think and if they
are doing deep fakes that fool, people if they're actually
doing videos that fool, people then those are few and far.
Between they're not just some person, saying, Hey i'm going
(01:37:13):
to go on this app and spoof. Somebody those are,
easy you, know if you just have like you had
one one time MARK i think you did with deputy
deputy being a landlord or being a, plumber you, know
and above yeah it was for like five ten.
Speaker 2 (01:37:34):
Seconds you. Know you can make.
Speaker 3 (01:37:35):
Little, quips little video clips like, that but nowhere can
you make a real video clip that's. Impressive and they're.
Short you're limited to the. Length and it's very very,
expensive very. Expensive you have to buy credits in addition
to a monthly, Membership like a membership starts in around twenty.
(01:37:56):
Bucks then you have to buy credits and to make
any kind kind Of let's just say a one, minute
one minute, clip a little commercial for one, minute which
cost you probably two thousand, credits and those credits can
be very. Expensive the credits could be like, that it
could end up costing you three four five hundred, dollars
(01:38:18):
so it's way cheaper than higher production. Crew but the
video you get in response is not. Good it IS i,
KNOW i. KNOW i love hearing about things and THEN
i love looking at them at what they really. Do
if you go on, YouTube all of these people reviewing
the video making software say, well this is one of
the best video making. Softwares all you have to do
(01:38:40):
is put in a prompt and get a. Scene and
it's just not. True and the WAY i can tell
IS i challenge you to do. It why don't you do?
It and tell me how you did it and let me.
Know BECAUSE i know a lot about. Technology i've been
in it since it. Started WHEN i WAS i mean
when the computers came. OUT i was one of the
first optors of The osbourne and the K. Pro And
(01:39:02):
i'm not. Bragging i'm just saying this hype about videos
and deep fakes way way way.
Speaker 4 (01:39:10):
Over BLACK i don't know if you've Used for, EXAMPLE
i don't know if you've USED groc BECAUSE i find
it so impressive USE.

Speaker 2 (01:39:43):

Speaker 2 (01:41:01):
Now it makes.
Speaker 3 (01:41:02):
Video clips at, best and the clips it makes are very.
Limited you can't first of, all don't even try to use.
Text it'll almost always be misspelled almost, always or transcribed
or what do you call transposed where it's not they're
not in the right. Order and then also you'll find
there's just it's just a little off right. NOW i
(01:41:23):

It's not. Perfected but there are people who say what
you say that it is moving in life speech.
Speaker 4 (01:41:39):
YEAH i, mean, yeah that thing looks as if someone
watched that and didn't think that absolutely took. PLACE i
would argue with, YOU i think it looks that. Real, No,
NO I i think. SO i think it.
Speaker 3 (01:41:51):
DRIFTED i think the wide shot of the two of
them look like the two of, them but as they
move closer to each other IT i think that their Look,
jordan you would. Know do you think like it looked
like You're dad during the whole time or just in the,
Beginning so be be straight with. That what do you
think did it look like?
Speaker 2 (01:42:10):
Him The, yeah it made me pretty creeped. Out, okay
so really watch the whole, thing you. Know and that's
another thing that's.
Speaker 3 (01:42:18):
Weird sometimes if you don't know, people you don't even
know if they're substituted or. NOT i, MEAN ai works
a lot on people not paying attention to.
Speaker 2 (01:42:28):
Frames there was an experiment.
Speaker 3 (01:42:30):
Done years ago where a guy would substitute himself into a,
scene like let's say they were sitting on a park
bench having a conversation with a. Guy so here's the
subject who's making the. Movie it's, okay it's a prank.
Movie he's making a movie talking to the victim or
the you know the. Subject then a guy comes between
them carrying some big door or, something and as he
(01:42:54):
walks between, them they switch actors and they continue the.
Conversation and the guy never ever even noticed he was
now talking to another.
Speaker 2 (01:43:02):
Person, No i'm.
Speaker 3 (01:43:03):
Serious if you don't know people and they look, similar
you don't make you don't make the. Connection you don't
think to. Yourself wait a, minute what happened to that
guy was just talking To where did he?
Speaker 2 (01:43:14):
Go and who are?
Speaker 10 (01:43:15):
You?
Speaker 3 (01:43:16):
Not unless you have to get to know them first
before that. Registers the guy did. It he did the
experiment so many times it blew my. Mind tell me
that people didn't Go, Ahead, Mark, sara.
Speaker 2 (01:43:28):
Would you know what these guys look? Like this is
a fresh. One look at.
Speaker 4 (01:43:31):
Them It's. Scott it's only ten. Seconds It's, Scott jordan And.
Chopper look at. IT i, mean what do you, think?
Guys you just looked at? It does that not?
Speaker 3 (01:43:41):
Lend? Mark tell everyone, Listening tell everyone listening what you're
using the use? Rock, so but exactly how do you use?
Speaker 2 (01:43:49):
IT i want to know.
Speaker 4 (01:43:50):
Exactly AS i go into supergroc AND i go into
what's called, IMAGINE i took a picture of the three
of them sitting, here and they simply, PUT i can
get detailed or, not.
Speaker 2 (01:43:59):
OR i can go.
Speaker 4 (01:44:00):
Ahead, yeah AND i said make them, fight and then,
okay all.
Speaker 2 (01:44:05):
RIGHT i got.
Speaker 3 (01:44:06):
Them. Now that looks Like jordan for, sure that looks
like all of. Them, okay for. Sure let me. See
can't play? It, okay it looks pretty. Good and when
you see the, video the thing that makes it unrealistic
is that dollar is.

detailed report free of. Charge that's his service to you
because he wants to show you how thorough they can.
Be Frank, dran the Real Estate man Dot com three
oh three nine two zero sixteen twenty. Two, so speaking
of service to you and all, that we were talking
ABOUT ai videos And mark made a few On grock
(01:47:36):
and THEN i talked about my. Experience WHAT i was
trying to do is a sixty second commercial and USING
i was trying to use more of a fintech thing
to Show Martino capital how it gathers its securities in
cyberspace and puts them into categories and all that stuff
to make a long story.
Speaker 2 (01:47:54):
Short it was a lot of it's.
Speaker 3 (01:47:56):
Dreadful you have to go through, it and then a
lot of the text is, misspelled and it leaves a
lot to be. Desired SO i, ASKED i asked my OPEN.
AI i, said look what about these these these CLIPS i.
Speaker 2 (01:48:08):
See that are this or that or the other?
Speaker 3 (01:48:11):
THING i name some clips and they said they're done
by major studios who take, painstakingly take time to knit
out they don't, want and then they use plenty of.
Credits because here's what happens when in some of the
services THAT i. HAVE i don't know how, Rockworks, mark
but you use credits for each. Clip and even this
(01:48:31):
is the weird THING i found on a service and
it uses. Credits so if you do a, scene let's
say it eats fifteen, Credits, okay here's the. Problem if
you don't like the scene or you want to revise,
it or if it does something, wrong literally, wrong like,
misspells you, know a label very you still have to
(01:48:55):
pay those fifteen credits and then you have to regenerate.
Speaker 2 (01:48:58):
It you have to say.
Speaker 3 (01:49:00):
Spell text TEX t and not the way you, did
and it comes back and it might be right or.
Wrong and for each generation of a, clip whether right or,
wrong you pay the. Credit so you're paying for credits
for stuff you don't. Want THEN i wanted to, know
how CAN i look like a chipmunk on? Camera it is,
(01:49:24):
very very. Difficult it's not what you think it. Is
you got to spend a lot of, Credits you have
to buy upgrades for the, characters and the services are
not that. Intuitive so people on YouTube make it sound
like all you do is drag and drop, stuff or
you write a sentence and you get a really long a.
(01:49:45):
Clip it's just not that. Easy i'm not telling you
that it's not going to. Be it's remarkable what they're.
Doing in, Fact Mark mark showed some examples that are
just frankly remarkable that you can. Do but they're not
Any we're near production quality at this point nothing near production.
Speaker 4 (01:50:03):
Quality So grock, FIVE i think they said five, four
maybe it's, SIX i don't, know so picture about a
year and a half. Away but WHAT i always say
About elon is he always comes. THROUGH i don't care
if it's, robots, cars he always comes. Through but his
timeframe is different than us. Humans but here's the good.
Part once it's finally out in six so let's say
(01:50:23):
a year and a half from. Now Now i'm going
to use this as an, example but they will probably
block this. EXAMPLE i could, Say, grock look through the
Entire seinfeld cast and go through every. Script it would
do that in a matter of. Seconds you know, that
it could search every script ever written By. Seinfeld, ever
(01:50:45):
it's going to understand the. Characters then it'll actually watch
videos of the. Characters it'll actually watch. Episodes THEN i could, say,
okay let's take the cast Of seinfeld and create another
twenty two minute episode where this. Happens AND i come
up with something THAT i think would be a Funny,
seinfeld if you know What i'm, saying it, yeah will
(01:51:08):
literally create it and boom that is added to the.
CATALOG i, mean it would be as simple as add
but that's about a year and a half.
Speaker 6 (01:51:15):
Out.
Speaker 3 (01:51:16):
Now as far as these production houses going out of
business because people are making their own, COMMERCIALS i don't
see that.
Speaker 2 (01:51:24):
Happening, well maybe within a year and a half that could.
Speaker 3 (01:51:27):
Happen right, now the best you're gonna do is you're
going to hit some scenes that you can.
Speaker 2 (01:51:35):
Use so you're going.
Speaker 3 (01:51:36):
To produce maybe three good scenes out of. Ten, okay
you're going to generate ten and maybe get three that
you can, use but then you edit.
Speaker 4 (01:51:45):
Those in my, example what you're missing is it understood every.
Script it understood how the comedic sense of the show.
Works it already Understands seinfeld is my. Example so when you, say,
OKAY i want to create a twenty two minus episode
or whatever the average episode is minus, COMMERCIALS i want
to create a new one with this, scenario And seinfeld
(01:52:08):
generally has three different scenarios running in the same. Show
you give it to three, scenarios you're not going to
have to do a retake on, it because it's.
Speaker 2 (01:52:16):
Going to do it.
Speaker 3 (01:52:17):
Better, no, no, No i'm not talking About i'm not
talking about. THAT i was talking about what they have.
Now as far as the, FUTURE i have no. Idea
honest to, GOD i have no idea what the future
holds with. IT i, mean BUT i know that The
hollywood is. Upset the industry is. Upset they're saying it's
going to be, ridiculous and they don't like the idea
(01:52:38):
that you can take someone's image and. Likeness but how
do you stop, it or how do you stop someone
from making something? Similar it may not Be Arnold, schwarzenegger
but it might be something that looks a guy that
looks just like, him you, know, similar Or Rocky, balboa you,
KNOW i, mean.
Speaker 2 (01:52:55):
Or not even it Can it doesn't even have to look.
Speaker 4 (01:52:57):
Similar but if it watches every Single rambo and understands the,
character it doesn't even have to look like him to
get the.
Speaker 2 (01:53:05):
Same great, movie right? Right that that could.
Speaker 3 (01:53:09):
Be BUT i think we are in for major, shocks Ipe.
Speaker 2 (01:53:15):
LAW i don't. Know is it gonna be? Rewritten?
Speaker 13 (01:53:17):
Tom you can't duplicate like originality and, Uniqueness you.
Speaker 2 (01:53:22):
CAN'T i don't agree with.
Speaker 10 (01:53:23):
That you.
Speaker 2 (01:53:24):
Can't i'll give you an example Of Tom.
Speaker 4 (01:53:26):
Martino we probably, have oh my, god including the stuff
back from two thousand and late. Nineties IF i fed
every audio RECORDING i have with you, Everyone i'd say
thousands upon thousands upon thousands of. Hours i've never calculated.
It it would understand you one hundred. Percent and if
(01:53:48):
anybody asked it a.
Speaker 13 (01:53:50):
Question you mean it can duplicate, Originality absolutely it.
Speaker 4 (01:53:53):
Does because it already understands. Him you Think tom's every
anything different over a forty year period, tomorrow then you
were taking all.
Speaker 2 (01:54:01):
That information and spitting it. Back do not spitting it back.
Out it. Is it's learning his.
Speaker 4 (01:54:08):
Personality it knows, how it, answers it knows what gets him.
Speaker 2 (01:54:12):
Upset it might get. IT i get.
Speaker 3 (01:54:15):
IT I i don't doubt it at, all especially the
more you dump in. THERE i think What susan is
saying is it doesn't come up from scratch with.
Speaker 2 (01:54:24):
SOMETHING i don't think It's you don't want it.
Speaker 4 (01:54:27):
Original if you want it copying, you you have to
have enough to feed.
Speaker 2 (01:54:31):
It so don't.
Speaker 13 (01:54:32):
Understand no one's going to be as original As Taylor
swift is with her lyrics and her. Brain nothing is
going to be that. Original and same With tom proof
stuff like.
Speaker 4 (01:54:43):
This the, People i'm telling you straight, up if you
Took Taylor swift's entire catalog from when she would take
it back out every bit of music and, said have
her create a new. Song it would create a new,
song AND i promise you would have no idea.
Speaker 2 (01:54:58):
Tailor, okay of, course.
Speaker 3 (01:55:01):
Right, now don't they have fully don't they have fully
made songs By Ai Ray now Now i'm not that.
Speaker 13 (01:55:08):
Good they sound like, standard same, old same old country.
Speaker 4 (01:55:12):
Music, buddy because if until people don't, know they don't.
Know and WHAT i mean, is as soon as you
tell Them, ai they, say oh That's.
Speaker 2 (01:55:20):
Ai, yeah you're very defensive OF. Ai it's, interesting extremely do, okay,
okay your.
Speaker 13 (01:55:27):
Original no one's gonna no one's gonna duplication.
Speaker 4 (01:55:31):
Rock, today WHEN i was talking To rapp in the,
car this is. True what DID i do? WELL i
apologize to the damn thing BECAUSE.
Speaker 2 (01:55:37):
I said the question.
Speaker 4 (01:55:38):
WRONG i, SAID i asked the wrong. QUESTION i literally, said,
Oh i'm. Sorry this is WHAT i. MEANT i apologize
to my.
Speaker 3 (01:55:46):
Car oh my. Gosh so you have super rock running in.
Everything you have your phone your? Car, yeah we both.

Speaker 3 (01:55:57):
YEAH i do the same thing with OPEN. AI i
have a business.
Speaker 4 (01:56:01):
Account you can't talk to it in YOUR bmw cruising
down the, street.
Speaker 3 (01:56:04):
Can you, yeah, Yeah but it's not through the car
like yours.
Speaker 2 (01:56:07):

no it is. Leaf, no it is through the audio.
Speaker 3 (01:56:13):
System it's just not through Beamur yeah it's.
Speaker 2 (01:56:17):
Yeah that's. Right it's coming from my phone into my.
Car for, example like my.
Speaker 4 (01:56:21):
Car if we're headed to work and we're on self
driving and we want to stop At, STARBUCKS i simply, say, hey,
roc swing by the Closest starbucks on the way to,
work and.
Speaker 2 (01:56:30):
It's just Mind, no it doesn't do it. Anything how
bad CHAT tbt. Is it's.
Speaker 3 (01:56:34):
Horrible in, FACT i was in ANOTHER ev car the
other day AND i, said can it do this or?
Speaker 2 (01:56:40):
This it doesn't do.
Speaker 3 (01:56:41):
Anything do you know what we have in AND i
HAVE i don't even have AN ev, car but the
technology in THESE ev cars it's just cruise control and
it keeps your. Lane it doesn't do, anything and it doesn't.
Follow it doesn't stop at a stop, Sign it doesn't
make right hand or left hand turns according to YOUR gps.
Speaker 2 (01:57:01):
Circle it does none of.
Speaker 3 (01:57:02):
That that's Where tesla. Is it owns the whole friction market.
Speaker 4 (01:57:09):
Garage IF i am oh, GOD i get so excited about.
This If i'm in our garage and we're coming to
work AND i want to stop At walmart and then
stop At. Starbucks LITERALLY i hit, ONE i put them.
In it takes, second OR i just talk to it
and tell it WHAT i want to. Do then it'll
pull out of the. Garage it will close the, garage
it will drive and park At.
Speaker 2 (01:57:28):
Walmart we'll get, out get what we, need get back.
Speaker 4 (01:57:30):
IN i hit the little screen, again it'll drive The starbucks,
park OR i can take, over go through the drive, through,
which by the, way they're working on right. Now pretty
soon it'll go through any drive. Through then it'll continue
bring us to, work go around in the circle and
back into.
Speaker 2 (01:57:46):
A spot in the circle right here at. iHeart and that's.
REMARKABLE i, mean you. Can't that technology is.
Speaker 3 (01:57:56):
Crazy AND i THINK i read a list of that
are USING ai right.
Speaker 2 (01:58:02):
Now instead of owners.
Speaker 3 (01:58:03):
Manuals WHY i said this, Before why would you ever
have an owner's? Manual you simply you just simply, ask you,
know reset this or set this or do this or do.
Speaker 2 (01:58:13):
That why would you have to like with THIS tv behind?
Speaker 3 (01:58:17):
Me why WOULD i ever want to dig into that
menu when when ALL i could do is, say on my,
phone because we're on the same, NETWORK i say change
brightness to have. Half you should just do. It but
one are these devices going to catch up as far
as with smart? Devices when IS ai going to be
in every smart device you can.
Speaker 4 (01:58:36):
Actually actually the one you just. Said, okay here's the
problem with your. Phone, now some of the Newer samsungs
don't have, infrared but depending on how they communicate with YOUR,
tv they should be able to learn the language and
do exactly what you.
Speaker 2 (01:58:52):
Said if your TV's new.
Speaker 4 (01:58:54):
Enough right now you're, saying, yeah right, NOW i Mean
i've never done, it BUT i don't know why it
couldn't do.
Speaker 3 (01:58:59):
It, YEAH i would love to see, That AS i,
said you, know going into an index of a stupid
owner's manual and trying to find out what you're trying to.
Do or in my, CAR i just wanted to reset
my tire monitor.
Speaker 2 (01:59:12):
And you have to go through you have to. Stop
you have to.
Speaker 3 (01:59:15):
Go through the little alphabet thing with your real rotary
like your, mouse and it's drill down to where that.
Is in your, car you could probably say reset tire monitors, right.
Speaker 4 (01:59:27):
Well not, yet but yes they have not integrated that
because of The highway safety. Lootever but, yes the technology is,
there they just haven't given it to. Go the only
THING roc can do as far as the car right,
NOW i MEAN i can ask it any. QUESTION i could,
say how DO i reset it in my? CAR i
would tell, me But i'd have to manually do. It
but that will be in one of the newer updates
(01:59:49):
coming out probably this. Year but right, now all it'll
do IS i can set any kind of direction in the,
car will just go WHEREVER i.
Speaker 2 (01:59:57):
Want, OKAY i have another question we have take this.
Speaker 3 (02:00:00):
Break will there be pirated or hacked or hacks FOR
ai where YOUR ai does something to someone ELSE'S ai
that you're driving by because they did, something and where
you actually have MALICIOUS ai actions that you can. CREATE i, wonder,
seriously how are they going to put a harness to?
(02:00:21):
That because whenever something is, created there's always a bad
thing created for. IT i remember the first Time skype came,
out it might have even been Before skype that the
very first thing people started doing was WAS x Rated.
SKYPES i, mean so no matter what they find a
way to do something bad with. It i'm not saying
(02:00:42):
THE x rated, skypes whatever you, Think whatever.
Speaker 2 (02:00:44):
It turns, OUT i don't.
Speaker 3 (02:00:45):
Care But i'm, saying will there be a time you
think where you can actually use YOUR ai in warfare
on the, trail for road rage or for something. ELSE
i don't mean to run people off the, road but
to do things to THEIR, aa or to do things
to your friend's nigh to your, neighbor.
Speaker 2 (02:01:04):
Boy, Possible i'd get rid of THAT, ai, YEAH i,
know or your NEIGHBOR'S tv or.
Speaker 3 (02:01:10):
Something it's gonna be a very strange, world but it's
not gonna stay confined to do just what we, want
because that's not the way technology. Works as soon as
technology is, born people start thinking of dastardly deeds to
do with, it like ripping people off, anyway we got
more right after.
Speaker 6 (02:01:28):
This.

the short Time mark did it With grock online just
a very short time he was able to make And
i'm saying, this given the time and what he, did
they were very impressive for the short amount of time he.
Had he took a still picture and animated it to do.
Things he Had suzanne like A marvel superhero standing in
(02:03:40):
their living room and then what do you call it?
Speaker 2 (02:03:42):
Repelling you don't repel? OUT i don't.
Speaker 10 (02:03:44):
KNOW i was.
Speaker 3 (02:03:46):
Up, yeah she was being pulled up out of there
like a. Superhero that was pretty, impressive don't you, think
for the short amount of time he was doing. It
so the point is when does it Become when does
it become a? Destructive, oh destructive to the, industries the production, Industry, well.
Speaker 2 (02:04:08):
We're getting real close to. THAT i Think hollywood is really.
Speaker 9 (02:04:11):
NERVOUS i, mean the people who are used to getting
paid ten million dollars per movie are getting super.
Speaker 2 (02:04:17):
Nervous, Well i'm just going to give you an.
Speaker 3 (02:04:18):
Idea IF i wanted to do an explainer video on,
Something i'd have to hire a videographer an, editor or
the videographer could be the. Editor but these are the skills, shooting,
editing making, it the prop, making, animation, acting, animation and
(02:04:39):
then you'd have to have any number of post production
things for graphics and all of. That right, now you
sit down on your computer and you'll get ninety nine
percent of it now, again right, now the models That
i'm using are, quite in my, opinion behind.
Speaker 2 (02:04:59):
Okay don't get. You they look a little.
Speaker 3 (02:05:01):
Off And i've never had a word spelled right, yet
not one word IF i put a, Word and that's
Why i've.
Speaker 2 (02:05:08):
Learned do not use.
Speaker 3 (02:05:09):
Words LIKE i wanted the stocks shown in my animation
to be put into certain, categories and IF i spelled a,
category let's say, growth it didn't spell it. Right it
never spells words, correctly AND i don't know WHY i.
Speaker 2 (02:05:25):
Swear to you it. Never it must have been done
instead of the way you're doing. It have you done?
Audio in other?
Speaker 4 (02:05:31):
Words like WHAT i would do is, say, HEY, GROC
i want a stockticker at the bottom with some of
the highest things on THE s AND p. Today it
would go out and grab those and use. Those it
wouldn't try to spell WHAT i was typing in you
know What i'm?
Speaker 3 (02:05:46):
Saying, yeah, POSSIBLY i, NOW i don't. KNOW i don't
know how to do that. Yet as far as that
kind of a. Prompt if you can do that WITH,
groc that would be. Impressive MAYBE i subscribe To. Grock
do you have to have an Expensive? Now do you
have credits that each one of these eats?
Speaker 2 (02:06:01):
Up? Mark grox got.
Speaker 4 (02:06:03):
Different susanna AND i are limited to, credits but we
have so. Many will never hit it on an average,
month and they'll fall over if you.
Speaker 2 (02:06:10):
Have we've never even come close to running.
Speaker 4 (02:06:12):
Out but if you get the next, level which sounds
like probably more of what you would, do there is no.
Limit you can sit there forever and. Ever and that's
about on a monthly it's three. HUNDRED i don't know
what it.
Speaker 3 (02:06:25):
Is, oh oh that's way, okay, okay you're talking about, it.
Speaker 2 (02:06:28):
But like a year from, now if you're IN i know.
Speaker 3 (02:06:31):
Nothing of, course of, course when you think about what
it would cost to hire photographers and lighting people and
audio and. Graphics, no, seriously it will be putting through
you out.
Speaker 4 (02:06:43):
Of this is nothing for that kind of power and.
World now you're about the movie. Making we're not talking
about the fact that it could take every contract ever
made in the world and analyze it in five.
Speaker 2 (02:06:54):
Seconds, YEAH i, mean this is AS i, said a scary.
Speaker 3 (02:06:59):
World the point is what are we ultimately going to
be using it?
Speaker 2 (02:07:05):
For you know what fun?
Speaker 3 (02:07:06):
Jobs and will it displace it?
Speaker 2 (02:07:08):
Doesn't, okay so.
Speaker 4 (02:07:09):
Funny there's short term and short term could be fifty
one hundred, years but long, term if you look at
What elin.
Speaker 2 (02:07:15):
Said it's pretty.
Speaker 4 (02:07:16):
Crazy what he basically says is it'll be a utopian
society because the robots and THE ai will be doing.
Everything they'll be creating the, food they'll be building the,
cars they'll be doing. Everything there won't be anything for
humans to do but sit back and. Relax whatever that looks.
Like so he's, saying EVENTUALLY ai is going to be
(02:07:39):
the best thing in the world because the robots and
the computers literally do. Everything they'll produce, everything meaning we
don't have to go out and work to produce something
because they're producing.
Speaker 3 (02:07:50):
IT i, know and think of. THAT i mean if
it took a, job, though how will someone make a?
Speaker 2 (02:07:56):
Living?
Speaker 4 (02:07:57):
If once again this is shooting over your, Head i'm
not saying in the next Few i'm saying there is
no need for anybody to work anybody because the robots do,
everything THE ai does everything.
Speaker 3 (02:08:11):
Everything how do people how do people make? Income are
you talking to their net?
Speaker 2 (02:08:17):
Income because there'll be plentiful amounts.
Speaker 4 (02:08:20):
Of everything because we don't need to buy them because
the robots make them for. Free but why would you
buy something when they can make stuff for. Free the
only thing we got to worry about is the, resources
the natural resources for. Energy, honestly they'll do that.
Speaker 2 (02:08:37):
Too think about. That, YEAH i, Again, MARK i MEAN i.
Can't how CAN i?
Speaker 3 (02:08:46):
Disagree because everything is happening so. Fast we have no idea.
Speaker 2 (02:08:50):
What's going to.
Speaker 4 (02:08:51):
Go Have Tom not long, ago DURING, covid you AND
i would sit here AND i talk, About, Oh i'm
gonna get A tesla BECAUSE i want to self.
Speaker 2 (02:08:58):
Driving we would have people call and left and.
Speaker 4 (02:09:00):
Right i'll never be a self driving car that does
what you're, saying, RIGHT i, mean it's just. Craziness we
are on such a speed course right. Now the faster it,
gets the faster it, gets the faster it.
Speaker 3 (02:09:13):
Gets and one guy here brings up a job that
will definitely be, taken and that's an airline.
Speaker 2 (02:09:19):
Pilot you will NEVER i mean.
Speaker 4 (02:09:21):
Sure though all these, jobs every job will eventually go.
Away tell me one job that won't go away unless
if someone like unless If congress or unless if somebody says,
no we can't have AN ai.
Speaker 2 (02:09:34):
President it's got to be a.
Speaker 4 (02:09:35):
Human with the exception of something like, THAT i would
say a, robot once it's down, perfect would be a
much better surgeon than any. Human once that's, down PAT
a robot's not going to screw. Up it's not going
to fight with its wife or a husband in the.
Morning it's not going to be drinking the day. Before
there's a million reasons why robots are one hundred times
(02:09:58):
better than.
Speaker 2 (02:09:58):
Pink, kay what about your reach you're at, church you,
KNOW i think that's a great.
Speaker 3 (02:10:04):
Idea AN ai, Preacher well you could program into it
no hypocrisy or you, know like practice what you.
Speaker 2 (02:10:13):
Preach you don't sleep with? Children, yeah well, god that's
that's GETTING.

(02:11:08):
zero three seven to one three talk seven one three
eight two five. Five mark made a statement when we've
been talking about all of this, technology of, course groc
always comes. Up tesla always comes up because he's a
firm believer in that company and the Leader Elon, Musk
AND i heard you say you think he's the smartest man.
Speaker 2 (02:11:26):
Alive right NOW i.
Speaker 4 (02:11:27):
Do in, fact that's got nothing to do with. Politics
and you know now he aligns with. ME i don't
know of anybody in the world seriously as smart As.
Elon it's, incredible from his rocket ship company to the
only self driving car on the, planet to the robots
that are going to be released in the boring. Company
(02:11:48):
And i'm not just talking his business. Sense we already
know what that's. Like he's he's a trillionaire, basically what's
more remarkable than that is how he takes something in his.
Brain if you've ever seen one of these rockets take
off and come back on and land in these, big beautiful,
arms no one has ever even come up with anything like.
(02:12:10):
That not only did he have the thought of being that,
reusable but he literally created. It tom how many people
out there have the best ideas in the, world the.
Best they could be life changing. Ideas but if you
don't have the ability or the want to put that
better set, there the idea means. Nothing there was an
episode Of SEINFELD i still. Remember they were talking about
(02:12:34):
a restaurant on top of a tall building In New
york that went around in a circle while you, ate
And kramer, goes, oh they did. THAT i had that
idea ten years. Ago that's my, Idea And jerry basically, says, oh,
okay that was your. Idea but it wasn't your, money
it wasn't your thrive to get it done.
Speaker 3 (02:12:54):
Right.
Speaker 2 (02:12:54):
Best you had the, idea who, cares.
Speaker 3 (02:12:57):
It's the execution that Counts. NOW i can see no
one who thinks to the future Like elon. DOES i
think THEY a lot of people play follow the. Leader
but there was a term called, futurists, RIGHT i didn't coin,
that but they're called. Futurists they're people who think about
the future and what will. Happen and he's one of
(02:13:19):
the FEW i know that are truly talking about, future
the future and what the future means and what technology
should be.
Speaker 2 (02:13:27):
Doing and he's one of the.
Speaker 3 (02:13:29):
Puts his money mouth is he shut down two very
popular car lines in order to concentrate on his.
Speaker 2 (02:13:36):
Robotics that's.
Speaker 4 (02:13:37):
Right and someone made a very interesting. Comment it says
this Guy scott on our YouTube. Channel, well if nobody
would have to, work then who's going to run the
robots or fix the robots or fix the cars and.
Trucks what's the answer to?
Speaker 6 (02:13:53):
That?
Speaker 2 (02:13:53):
People that is such a basic. ANSWER i don't even.
Speaker 3 (02:13:56):
Know would they would start being they would help sim's,
Diagnosing you.
Speaker 2 (02:14:01):
Would have robots that fix. Robots BUT i still can't.
Speaker 3 (02:14:05):
CONCEIVE i still can't conceive of a world, though where
people are just, idle where they don't do anything or
don't have a. Purpose that's going to be just, well
it'll be. Destructive for one. THING i, MEAN i think child.
Care If i'd say, DISRUPTIVE i think childcare and teaching
might be something where people you want a nurturing.
Speaker 2 (02:14:26):
Rather what would you rather?
Speaker 4 (02:14:27):
Do in all, honesty you have A tesla, robot and you,
know let's say it's a couple generations down the, road
two or three, years and it can do basically up
to four thousand. Tasks it's ai. Instant in other, words
it's its own. Machine it's thinking all the. Time what
would you rather have teach your child all the way?
(02:14:49):
Through would you rather send them To Aurora public, Schools
Denver public, Schools Douglas County public? Schools or would you
rather have the robot literally teach them math and?
Speaker 3 (02:14:59):
Reading AND i would want a combination OF i would
want a. COMBINATION i think that people would be weird
if all they interacted with were robots from the time
their little kids going to school till the time they're.
Speaker 4 (02:15:12):
Out what about, Childcare? Martam AND i didn't say there
would be no other. Interaction how about if the school
itself didn't have THESE i hate to say. It, listen
there's some great teachers out, there but there's teachers out
there that rather teach the rainbow color of.
Speaker 2 (02:15:27):
The flag than.
Speaker 4 (02:15:28):
Math we have places right here In colorado where next
to nobody is at grade. LEVEL i much rather have
a robot teaching that. Class, okay what about childcare? ITSELF
i mean nurturing of childcare one big thing right, now
The tesla robot is going to be doing probably in
second third WHEN i say second third generation for people out,
(02:15:51):
there they're further than that in. Generations But i'm talking release,
generations SO rgie release. Generations so three years from, NOW
i have no doubt A tesla robot can take care
of my parents in their, house keep them, company cook for,
them help them in the, bathroom the, shower. Everything you,
think how far away do you think that? IS i
(02:16:13):
think that's probably three maybe four years that.
Speaker 3 (02:16:16):
Soon, yeah where we'll have where we'll have assisted living
basically in your. Home.
Speaker 4 (02:16:21):
Yep so do not invest in assisted living right? Now
and well that would be real. Quick parking, lots parking
lots as soon as a cyber taxi gets a stamp
of approval from THE feds and The. States think about.
It would you ever park AT dia at twenty bucks a?
Day you're going to have your car drop you off
at the airport and go back home where it's nice
(02:16:42):
and safe in your. Garage you would never think about
things not to invest. In right now people.
Speaker 3 (02:16:49):
And as far AS ai goes replacing people the entertainment,
INDUSTRY i don't see people wanting, Now, Mark i'm not
talking about capability. Now remember there's two things going on.
Here one is, capability second is. ADOPTION i don't think
(02:17:09):
that people will adopt the.
Speaker 4 (02:17:11):
Technology, Tom, yes so people right now growing Up jordan
in studio with. Me his wife is going to give birth.
Soon they're not going to know about actors back in the.
Day they're not Gonna it's like me knowing about the
horse and. BUGGY i know nothing about a horse and.
Buggy they're not. Gonna when you say, adoption it doesn't.
(02:17:32):
Matter time is the. Adoption the younger generation coming, up
they're not looking at the black and white days.
Speaker 2 (02:17:39):
Anymore they're not going to be looking for A Taylor.
Swift they'd be.
Speaker 3 (02:17:43):
Satisfied they would be satisfied just looking at some image
on a screen or a. Robot, well, okay that's where
we differ
