Speaker 1 (00:00):
Chuck Douglas and Ford Blazer two eight six the number
eight two one dou wleutv in one eight hundred and
sixty ten doubletvn Okay, we got to talk about the Hilton,
the shooting, the guy who did he apparently he didn't
hide his uh his thoughts about the president or the
current administration. I have not seen yet one time where

(00:24):
they've said he was on our radar. Thank goodness for that,
because that is the most worn out thing I'm so
sick of. He was on our radar. I don't want
to hear that. But he had to be on some
of these radar because he had, you know, he had
very definitive ideas and opinions. So he shows up at
the Hilton books a room, has has plenty of weapons

(00:47):
with him, and I've seen so many people on social
media that have just they've been bashing the hotel. How
could you let that guy check in with guns and
that the hotel's not gonna check your luggage. That's not
what they're there for. They are a hotel, they are
not a secured facility. So have you ever gone to

(01:13):
a hotel zach where they put you like through X ray,
like you're going through the airport. No, not at all.
I don't know of any hotel that does that.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
I say, had some pretty bad ones and some really
nice ones, and neither of them check your luggage at all.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
I've been to a couple that were pretty bad. They
steal your luggage, but I've never had never had them
check to see what's in there. So the people that
take issue with the Hilton for not knowing the guy
had guns, you're off base. Not their job. The problem
for me, I just have so many questions. First of all,

(01:52):
it's a media event, White House Correspondence Center, It's a
media event. I'm intrigued by the fact that we keep
seeing like the same three security videos. Have you noticed
that there had to be cameras all over the place,
but we keep seeing the same three camera angles, And

(02:16):
I'm not sure why it seems really that there should
be so much more. Is that the government doesn't control
because you know, all those media sources would own the footage,
So I'm kind of surprised by that. Secondly, and I
don't know if you know, Zach, I've watched it over
and over. I don't know who she is. The woman

(02:38):
who was seated to the left of the President, wearing
the beige sequined dress, had black hair. Do you have
any idea who she was? No clue. I'm hoping. I'm
hoping she was like secret service or something that she
was just up there to be next to him to

(02:59):
protect because as they were rushing the president all stage,
she was like completely left behind. And I would think
if you're important enough to be up there sitting next
to the president, you're probably you know, pretty important on
the VIP list. But she was. She was and Donald

(03:22):
Trump there there, you know, he's going down there and
they're they're getting him, and she's like behind Donald Trump
like a like a quarterback waiting to get the ball
snapped to her. Nobody's protecting, No, She's just she was
kind of left out in the open. And again, I
don't know who she was. I've I've looked at the

(03:43):
face and I'm not that great with you know, important
people's names, celebrities and things like that. So maybe I
know who she was, and I'm just not registering that
I don't know, But I'm I'm very curious why if
she was up there, why she was not next on
my list of curiosities and by the way. Don Mahellick

(04:05):
will be joining us here in a bit. He's retired
from Secret Service. He's or ABC News correspondent now jd Vance.
A lot of people made fun of him. He said, Oh,
he looks scared. I don't think he looks scared. I
think he looks surprised. You know what's going on. But
he was taken off stage by the Secret Service agents

(04:28):
and Donald Trump was still sitting there. Does that not
seem odd? I would again, I don't know. I don't
know the rules. I just know perception. But I would
think priority one if you're the Secret Service is the president.
Get the President off that stage, get him sheltered, get

(04:51):
him protected, get him out of harm's way. But they
came and got the Vice president from the other side
of the table and got him. I'm well off stage
before they came back and took Donald Trump off stage.
I'm just I'm real curious about all that. Now that

(05:11):
being said, I'm also not one of these people, and
I've seen an abundance of them. You know this was fake, right,
This was just made up. It's like the It's like
the ear incident, and they ate any real They staged
all this. If you believe that God bless you, but

(05:33):
there's no possible way we will agree on that. Sorry,
that's not gonna happen. But the protocol of the president
going first, I would think that's, you know, like star Trek,
the prime directive protect at all costs the president. But

(05:54):
he was after JD. Vance. I think Haig Seth was
removed from stage too. I think he was down by Vance.
He might have been removed from the States too before
they came back for the President. Just seemed odd, very odd. Anyway. Still,
I know it's rolling through all of our heads and
we're trying to figure it out. Who was this guy?
And you know what, what what did he think he

(06:15):
was going to accomplish from a hall That's something else.
To work this hard, to make your plan come together,
and then to be in the hallway again, It just
it doesn't Something is weird. I'm sure there's more of
the story to come out, as they keep telling us
it's in the very preliminary stages eight two, one, nine,

(06:36):
eight six, number e two n WTV. And it's rolling
through your head about this event. Chris, you're on the
Legacy Retirement Group dot com phone lines.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Pulling on Chuck, how are you buddy? All right?

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Hey?

Speaker 2 (06:47):
On today on Glenn Beck, he said that the sister
and the parents called the FBI because he was radicalized,
going to know King's protests and bought a couple of
guns and was at the shooting range and everything, and
the FBI I interviewed the parents and it never nothing
came from it.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
Okay, I haven't heard that, but I don't listen to
Glenn back very much anymore because I'm usually working during
the middle of the day. But you know, maybe he's
he's got access, he's a big wig. Maybe he's got
access to that information. But if that is true, again,
there he is on the radar. Somebody put him on
your radar. So was this guy completely normal in every

(07:28):
other way? So you didn't suspect there was a problem
when his own family was saying, you've got a problem
with my kid. A two NWTV and let's get at
on the Legacy Retirement Group dot phone lines. How are
you yet?

Speaker 3 (07:41):
Not too bad? The Secret Service will get the president,
the first lady. The vice president's the second lady out
first foremost of above all anything else and anybody that
comes with him as an extra.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Okay, well, that's what I'm saying. I would think the
president is at the top of the food chain. The
ultimate priority is to get him off. But they came
and got dvanced, and I believe Haig Seth was removed
before they came back out and got Donald Trump off
the stage.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
Well I didn't. I didn't see any of that this
weekend because I was working on yard stuff.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
So all right, stimulate that garden.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Also, the sleeve bought motels never checked my baggage.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
I wonder why. And thanks very much for the call,
buddy A two six eight two w TV. It's uh,
you know I Again, I'm not pointing and saying you
did the the other incident. Yeah, I had some issues
with thee especially that one agent that she couldn't even
host her weapon. She was doing her bath. It's like

(08:52):
being a Navy seal in combat. From a seal, I
expect the best POSI combat ready person. Your secret Service
on a presidential detail, I expect that same sort of
performance from you. However your job rolls, you've got to
roll with it better than anybody else. And yeah, when

(09:18):
when you can't find your hoster, that's that's a bad sign.
And this time around. Maybe it was just, you know,
all the confusion. Maybe nobody was expecting anything at this
event up and they got caught off guard. But you're
not supposed to be caught off guard in that position.
I just the president should should be first now, And
I noticed I didn't say Donald Trump, by the way.

(09:39):
I said the president, whoever it is, should be first,

Bleep! with Ana Navarro

Fear thrives in silence and confusion. Ana Navarro rejects both. Her voice is an antidote to today’s chaos. Her new podcast, Bleep! with Ana Navarro, takes on today’s most pressing issues with the voices most connected to it: decision-makers, political leaders, cultural shapers, and people on the frontlines of the story. The conversations acknowledge the emotions we all feel—despair, sadness, fear— but emerge with knowledge, perspective, and hope. The belief is simple: fearless dialogue can transform fear into courage, and courage into change. When fear dominates the headlines, this show digs deeper. Because information, debate, and conversation don’t just ease fear, they give us power to shape the future.
