the chains original nineteen eighty three roots as a beach
themed neighborhood restaurant.

the line. Service will transition away from revealing thong type
standards introduced under private equity ownership. They will returned to

Speaker 5 (03:05):
I'm being honest with you. I ain't been the hood.
Let's be honest. Ain't nobody been to Hooters for the chicks?
And in twenty years, it's about time. It's okay. We
ain't missing it. We ain't missing nothing. Ain't nobody been like, oh,
let men, you know the chicks and Hooters bad? We
ain't said that in years.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Depends on what who does you go to.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
I've been to a lot of them. Lance Lanson went
out all have you been Inville, yes, July yet I
don't know what day you went, just maybe you went
on a bad day. But hey, look, well you know what.
Go ahead, go ahead, take another place awhere where guys
get to go just beat themselves.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Let's just do it.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
You can say no, you can't, not with some children
sitting right next, so you can't. You got to have
respect for the babies. That's funny, hey man. Crazy story
coming out of New Chicago, Indiana. Police Chief Earl Mayor
faces eight counts in a major corruption scandal after being
accused of stealing confiscated firearms from active criminal cases, including

(04:09):
cases he personally investigated, and selling them to a local
pawn shop for profit. Crazy, absolutely crazy man. Good luck
with that, bro and listen man. As May twenty fifth,
twenty twenty six, mark exactly six years since the murder
of George Floyd by former Minneapolis police officer Derek Sharvin,

(04:30):
the anniversary has prompted global reflection on the state of
racial justice, ongoing police reform, and community led healing. They
had a Rise and Remember festival where people gathered at
the intersection of thirty eighth Street in Chicago Avenue now
globally recognized as George Floyd Square for the annual festival
featuring live music, art installations, and account like Vigil and

(04:53):
Just memorial tributes Everywhere, mournings and activist Hell Memorial Brunch
and honored Floyd's legacy by laying Yello roses around the Square.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
So remembering George Floyd.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
Yep, coming up Leon's locker room, Knicks break out the brooms.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
We got a war going on.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
Between San Antonio and OKC, and Rage is looking up
at the lights.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
He got one more wish. That's coming up in the
locker room. It's DCI. Oh, you don't even know it's sports.
I'm just here so won't get found. Its inside Leon's
locker room. On one, a sum of five quick recap
of the NBA over the weekend.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
The New York Knicks are on their way to the
finals to try to solve a fifty three year drought
without them winning the title.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
They beat the Cleveland title. There is one thirty to
ninety three. They have been rolling through teams. Is that
I'm beating the month? For the whole month, they have
been rolling through teams. First it was Atleta. I thought
it was just a letter.

Speaker 5 (05:55):
Then they closed out Philly and strict gustin fashion in
Cab didn't even stand a change.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Yeah, it's terrible.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
James Harden needs to give all his money back to
the Cleveland Catchers. He didn't show up to help Domming
at all. I thought he was.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
Gonna least do something.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
But yeah, they're in the finals to up San Antonio
and the Oklahoma City Thunder are noted at two. Victor
Wanboyama led the charge Sunday night thirty three points, eight rebounds,
five assists, three blocks, and he had a forty foot
buzzer beat at the end of the first half.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
I think that series going set seven is going seven.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
Connor McGregor is making his way back into the UFC's
gonna be fighting Max Holloway non title wealth. Way about
these two fought before at one forty five and Connor
got the win by unitimous decision. Let's see now what
he does at one seven. He coming back from a
fraction leg and last not least. I can't believe I'm
even talking about this in sports, but Ray J did

(06:52):
a combat sports debut against thirty five year old YouTube
tuber super Hot Fire, the guy who used to do
all the freestyle back and the match ended real quickly
in the second round when super Hot Fire realized who
he was playing with and he hit a clean left
hand across the face of ray J, and ray J
bounced down all the ropes. Now he got back up,
but then I had to see it right back down

(07:13):
because he was knocked out.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
They had stopped the fight by the time he got up.

Speaker 4 (07:17):
Yeah, and my thing is this though, Zach, just what
about three four months ago ray J had tubes in
his nose talking about my heart is only working at
twenty five percent.

Speaker 5 (07:27):
I don't believe him, Man, not right that. How did
you even get clear to do to do this match?
You can't get clear. They would have been if something
happened to you and you got a condition that could
have been on them.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
So and these were sanctioned fights that took place at
the ufc APEX, so you had to have a health
screening and do it. Believe that's why you got your
ass with Flying Man. What's coming up in the Z spot?

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Hey?

Speaker 3 (07:50):
Man?

Speaker 5 (07:50):

Speaker 1 (08:20):
Man, did y'all see that? I'm gonna start with this
rich homely quand story.

Speaker 5 (08:23):
Y'all see that video that they had of like an
AI video of Riach Homie and this new song. H yeah,
it was wild, like you just put out a new
song and it's supposed to be on his always mess
up that word posthumous.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
How do you say that word.

Speaker 5 (08:35):
Posthumous posthumous album? Right, it's supposed to be on that album.
But then they gave they gave it an AI video
webby walking around scared the hell out of people.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
I'm so tired of AI man, And it's it's it's
a wild.

Speaker 4 (08:47):
Because when it's used the wrong way, like you know
what I'm saying, it's almost disrespectful.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Yeah, you know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
That's what people are saying, like they they kind of
messed up the legacy, you know it with a consent there.
It's just it's just weird. So yeah, if you're gonna
put those type of albums. I think you should take
past footage actually of them, put it together and then
produce you know what I'm saying, like a album.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
I don't like that. Yeah, that's crazy. That was weird, man.

Speaker 5 (09:11):
Also, did you see Glorilla? She revealed a special feature
on her upcoming album. She says she got one of
the members of d C.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
On her album. And you know who d C is?
I can't say the name d C. Yes, who is it?
Is it?

Speaker 4 (09:26):
Be?

Speaker 2 (09:27):
Is it K? Is it em?

Speaker 4 (09:31):
That's tough. If it's tough. If it's the first letter, yeah,
that's tough. That that put on a whole another round
right there. And even if it's the K, it's still
still doing good. But if it's a it's a gospel
something on.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
So she can't go wrong either way.

Speaker 5 (09:47):

no goof is being given out the day. What I
want to do is give a pat on the back
to a group of people that for the past eighteen
years have been putting on a wonderful just hangout. It's
called the Hangover thirty ninth Street Beach. A bunch of

(18:23):
black people get together. It's almost like an HBCU reunion. Man,
you got the Greeks out there, you got people that's
traveling light out there.

Ex.

Speaker 4 (18:31):
Military people just from the city of Chicago. This is
what Chicago is really like. And this is what I
wish a lot of people could see from out of town.
It was a brother there from Cleveland. This was his
first time. He said, Man, this is amazing. Y'all do
this every yes, a yeah. The past eighteen years, it
started out as a group of small people and now
it's turned to a big thing. Grills everywhere. DJ's playing

(18:53):

was crazy with it. Off the chamber man DJ Martin
Go that set up all of the sound equipment and
shout out to the brother Buck wild Boy.

was out there. Man had a good time. Black Chicago
black excellence was on display. Seeing a few celebrities out there.
Trey White, tunk Pone stopped through. You know what I'm saying.
It was just an amazing thing. So I want to
tip my hat to the people in Chicago that put
this together and been doing it for eighteen years.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
And no problems. Not a one man though, just a
black family reunion. It's so nice to see. Sorry man,

send offs.

Speaker 1 (23:01):
Yeah, man, we want to know what did you do
for your prom or your kids?

Speaker 2 (23:04):
Prim?

Speaker 1 (23:04):
And are they becoming too much or is it just
the right amount of celebrating.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
You know how I feel about it. I get it.

Speaker 4 (23:10):
People say if you can do it, I'm like, all right,
but what is prime celebrating? Like I can see if
it's a graduation sendoff? You know what I'm saying, You're
going to the next level education.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
What is this problem?

Speaker 4 (23:22):
You can go to PRIME full times while you're in
high school. You can go to prom full time.

Speaker 2 (23:27):
House.

Speaker 4 (23:27):
I know people have several primes. I just think we
get a little over the top. We spend it on
the wrong things. But you do what you want to do.

Speaker 5 (23:33):
But we did have we had extravagant send offs that
were it was somewhat extravagant back then.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
I mean, what other time did you ride in a limo?
I remember when I was in school, a lot.

Speaker 1 (23:43):
Of people got limos. You never rode in a limo.
A limo that was for a prom.

Speaker 5 (23:48):
It was probably the biggest the only time you really
rolled in one, or you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
People were renting cars back then.

Speaker 4 (23:54):
I think this will but it's more performative now, like, yeah,
you had a prom, you had a nice car, you
rented a BMW or something.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
Now it's performative.

Speaker 4 (24:04):
Not only do you have the Roseworth's coloring in the outside,
you got fireworks, you got the whole front of the
house set up like you're at the taj Mahall. And
it's like, I don't think parents back in the day
went in the deck doing it. Now, Like I said,
if you got it, cool, but I'll be looking at somebody.

(24:24):
I'd be like, I know some people that do these
extravagant prom sindots. Then four weeks later they want you
to donate to a trunk park. Yeah, like you even
help me understand that, Like you could took some of
that money and had.

Speaker 5 (24:36):
The Trump say, I mean I just know a lot
of sometimes I think people relived their prom through and that's.

Speaker 2 (24:42):
Right, that's what it is to their kids. That's what
you know. But I remember, you know, I grew up
in Gary.

Speaker 5 (24:48):
The Project kids had the best cause during during problem.
It ain't nothing new, you know what I'm saying. Crazy,
So yeah, it was a time. You know, you would
go to the prom day then you you know, then
you're going out to eat afterwards, and then you hit
a room and you get a room.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
That was I mean, that was what we were doing.

Speaker 4 (25:07):
We've been doing all the rumors after rich Carlton, Hey
got it that it's different and everybody holding their feet
up to the camera because they showed the red bottle,
the red roof in and then you went to Great
America the next day.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
