It is Ophlaika in Central here in Bulldog Arena. Jason
Lee and Mack mccrack can coming with you. Both teams out,
getting their pregame warm ups in and what promises to
be a very good Area matchup. It got out of
hand at Central a couple of weeks ago, but the
Bulldogs admittedly said, hey, that was probably one of our

worst performances of the season, So looking for payback there again.
This is the last week of the regular season here
an Area play. It is tonight with Central at home
and then the big Auburn game on Friday, So two
huge home contests for the Bulldogs and Mac will bring
you back in and I'll tell you what you had.
You had a little work trip a couple of weeks
ago with some big news hit. So you haven't been

on the air with us when the new football coaching now,
uh j C. Johnson Chandler, and so I know you
were fired up about that when a hometown boy come back.

Yeah, I was in uh coming back from Fort Lauderdale
down there to do some work and got the news
that j C is our new head of football coach,
and it's you know, that's something that you know, j
C has always been his top dream job has been
to come back home and coach the Dogs. And you

know is you know, sometimes you gotta you know, let
the let the Lord work and go off in a
different path.

You know, you know, his way is always better than

You know, everything worked out and let him be back here.

He's excited, you know, but you got to get his
you know, his family, you know, moved back up here
from from you know, down Montgomery where the uh you know,
Pike Road and Catholic and everything like that. But I
know he's looking forward to it, Jason, and there's no
other place that he'd rather be than no pla like Alabama.

Yeah, I know it was an unfortunate time and of
a work trip for you, but we were at the
press conference there where he was introduced and had a
lot of great things to say about your pops coach McCracken,
and played for him here as a quarterback and with
assistant coach here, went off for a couple of years,
got the head job at Catholic. But yeah, like you said,
when you can come home. There's just nothing like it.

And we know that he hit the ground run. And
he's had a busy couple of weeks. He's probably been
the busiest guy I know, but like the last couple
of weeks working on putting my coaching staff together something.
You know, we won't go too much into details on that.
You'll see some familiar faces on the sideline, but also
got a couple that he's going to bring in as well.
And then you know, not letting the cat out of
the back because nothing's official. Time will tell, but if

some of the things that we're seeing on that on
that schedule may come to fruition, it's gonna be an
exciting season for the Bulldogs again, isn't it.

he is is he making a schedule, making a couple
of highers. But one thing that never changes is Cave
McGee and that way been right at it after the holidays.

a graduate and I said, and let me tell you something.
You know, uh, you know Dad used to hang around
that weight room and run those weights. But I said,
there's a guy, Cave McGee that will take that off

A lot of quick guards, so a good matchup for Opelika.

they have just looked unsettled here so far. Offensively, a
lot of turnovers Central inbound and under their own basket.

And I tell you what, Mac, what big statistic has
really stood out for you so far with this big
Central lead to start off, seventeen to two.

Well, right now, we've got as far as turnovers, we
got Central with two, Opal like with two with the
big one that stands out. We've got nine rebounds for
Central and one for Opal Life, So you're getting out rebounded.
