Speaker 1 (00:00):
Big Friday, Big Friday, Big Friday, Big Friday, Big Friday.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Coming at to you Live, Live, Live Friday, the Nashville, Tennessee,
The home of the twenty twenty seven Sore Losers Convention,
The home of CMA Fest at the New Nissan Stadium,
The home of the Titans NFL season at the New
Nissan Stadium, the home of the two thousand and thirty
Super Bowl Live. We are ninety eight.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Days away from the twenty twenty seven Sore Losers Convention.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Brought to you by Freeland Chevroley. Is our relationship okay
with them?

Speaker 3 (00:38):
No? You and I?

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Yeah? Well, because a year ago I walk in and
it's like, oh boom, confetti, Happy birthday. And here we
are three hundred and sixty four days later. My birthday
is tomorrow. It falls on a Saturday, and not even
a sign, not even a birthday card, not even a
damn thing. I'm just wondering, are we still okay? Are like?

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Are we on the same page?

Speaker 2 (01:03):
We good hugged out like high five? What up? It's
all good in the hood. If we're not, man, you
just let me know, you know that, you let me
know if you're tired of me. If you moved on
to Fluff Frouff well whatever their name is from the
basketball maybe those are the guys. Maybe you want to
do a podcast with the paper shot guys and you
want to kick me to the curb. It's all good

(01:24):
in the hood, man. I just want to say I
appreciate you and thank you for acknowledging my birthday when
I walked in here today on Friday, I have Kevin
out on Saturday. Oh, lunchboxes birthday. Lunchboxes birthday is tomorrow,
Thank you very much.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
I think it's a guys who agree with me on
this one. If you work at an office place, I
understand truckers.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
It's all about when it falls. It is when we're
on a vacation.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
The people that get screwed or the I believe it's
a scuba's the eddies because we're not here and back
in grade school, if it was somebody over Christmas time,
they never got to celebrate at school. If it's Monday
through Friday, it's a bigger deal. On the pod, I'm sorry.
On a Saturday, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Saturday really does hit hard. It really messes everything up.
And I knew it that it was gonna be on
a Saturday, and I knew that it was gonna get
kind of overlooked by you.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
But that's okay. That's why I.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Made it funny because I knew I didn't expect you
to recognize it a day early.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
And also I was trying to think when I celebrated
my birthday was it did it fell on a Saturday
or did we just celebrate and it was a Friday?

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Because if so, that was perfect because we did brunch.
You got invited to that.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Yeah, I don't know when yours fell.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Well, I mean, there's a way to find out. I'm
gonna look it up on a calendar. I bet me
and Baz are just acting like it was a birthday day. Yeah,
you could know it's on a Friday and then we
just celebrated on Saturday. Yeah, but yeah, it's cool.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
It's all good.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
I'm happy. I'm excited. I will be forty five years
old tomorrow, and that is kind of weird and scary.
The weird scary thing this year, yes, mine will be
on a Saturday that is perfect for brunch. Awesome.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
The weird scary thing is I won't be doing this
when I'm forty five.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
I've already had that thought with myself because I've dated
stuff in the system. It says, when do you wanted
to expire? I've put everything. If I'm here like in
five years, the whole system is going to blow up.
So I seriously don't. There's no way I'm here at
forty five. Sadly, just how everything evolves. People wonder so
your age, you're right now? No, there's no way I'm

(03:35):
doing this, No way. And it's a weird thing to
be forty like I'm about to be forty five, because
I still like, I mean, I remember the countdown to
turning twenty one and the excitement of that, and the
fact that that is more years ago than I was
turning twenty one. It's twenty four years ago. That is bananas.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Don't get me into this. I don't want to get
in this conversation.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
I know you don't. I don't want to get into it.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
And I'm just saying I don't know what I'm doing
for my birthday tomorrow, but I will just know that
I am turning forty five years old, and I'm excited
and I'm happy. But also it's like, dang man, I'm
getting old.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Time is a weird thing because I always say this,
think back to when we first moved here. Holy crap,
that was only thirteen years ago, and I swear I
was like, I know, but it's felt like that first
year that we were here felt like ten years. I mean,
I swear that when I lived in Texas going to

(04:34):
Texas State twenty years ago, oh okay, that was about
twenty years ago. But the moving here and being single
and living with you, yeah, it feels like thirteen years.
It feels like fifteen years. Yeah, I mean that said
that makes sense. When I lived downtown, that feels like
fifteen years ago. It was only I moved in two

(04:54):
I hate to get dates with you guys, and hey guys,
but twenty eighteen is when we moved. Now, that was
when bas Ad cancer. Twenty nineteen we moved bro. That
feels ten years ago that I lived downtown. It was
only seven. I mean, it feels like fifteen. It feels
like forever ago. When I lived downtown.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
It's like when I drove by the our play our
old place the other night after my soccer game, had
the kids in the car, and we drove right by it,
and I was like, that's where I used to live
and my middle child baby box like with us, and
the oldest one goes, no, no, this was when dad
was moved here thirteen years ago. I'm like, what, he goes,

(05:35):
You've said it before. I remember, he goes, you weren't
living with anybody. You were by yourself and with another guy.
It's like, yeah, you're right.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
I mean, think back to high school when I lived here.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
D Michigan's crazy.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Well, I mean, the only way to explain that that
feels like a different lifetime. That honestly almost doesn't even
feel like me. When I lived in Michigan when I
was eighteen, which was twenty two years ago, minimum, fifty
years ago, I was completely different. That was on a
different planet. Like what when I lived in Wyoming, Bro,

(06:08):
that feels like when I was on Mars. That feels
over one hundred years ago. So that's why time is weird.
You can do your little short thing about oh it's
twenty four years ago, bro. When I lived in Wyoming
and nobody even knew about Wyoming before Yellowstone, that honestly
feels sixty years ago. If you told me of sixty
years I'd be like, that seems about right. It was
only it was only twenty six feel sixty.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Yeah, it's like my parents. They just went on a
road trip to Chicago, and on the way back, they
went through Topeka, Kansas, where I was born, where they
got married, all that, you know, that good stuff about
and whatnot, where they got me, but where they started
their life. And they drove by all their old places.
Oh this is where this was. I wonder what that

(06:53):
felt like like. Did it feel like I was just
yesterday or do they think like you, that felt like
one hundred years ago.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
It's a I would say the best way to explain
it is a different lifetime. You almost you're a different
person since then, your body's changed, you're older. It almost
seems like it was obviously a different version of themselves.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Because it was pre kids. And they drove by Grandma
and Grandpa's old house that used to have a gravel
driveway up to the top of the hill. They drove by,
someone put it in a paved driveway. Shesh like, I
don't know who did the disrespectful thing to actually put
a driveway in there. That's kind of messed up. You
should have left the gravel driveway because the memories of

(07:36):
crunching up the driveway when you get there and crunching
down it when you're leaving. It's something you'll never forget.
Now when people go visit that house, it's just a
driveway and they're not gonna remember going up and down
the driveway.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
And when somebody says, oh, when you were a kid,
I mean stop stop, Like that really wasn't even you.
But oh, when you were in middle school you I
mean sure, but I mean that's not really even me.
That was kind of an odd when you were a
baby out of body experience when you were going through
grade school that it was almost like you morphed. That

(08:08):
was like back when you were an animal and you
reincarnation and now you turned into this now it's that's
not even really you.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
So like when people your mom at church, she used
to I mean, yeah, sure I was physically there, but
that wasn't me.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Like that kid that like him, I mean, it really
wasn't even you. If you really want to get down
to it, I'm sorry, ma'am.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
When an old lady.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
Tells me about it that, I'm like, that's such a
cute story about like that really wasn't me. That was
just a little orb floating through the galaxy that like
for sure wasn't me, but physically had to be me
in that moment.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
But the person that I am now is like not
even that person. So the person you're referring to, it's
nice to meet him. Oh it was me, he had
the same name, but it's not me. And I'll hang
up and listen. I would agree to disagree because I
do feel like it's a little bit of who you are.
Like I think people saw who I was early on.
I was loud, outgoing, talkative. Never I met a stranger,

(09:01):
and I feel like that's me to this day, Like
that's who I am right now. I get shot in Chicago.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
Well, I didn't say that.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
I'm just saying, like at the ballpark, at the grocery store,
I talked to everybody, and I still talk to everybody.
That's how you meet people and learn things and get
interesting stories is by talking to people. I never met
a stranger. That's the problem. It is even a bigger
problem now because I've now seen it in your everyday life.

(09:29):
Yes and no.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
No, when I'm like, dang, I'm glad I don't talk
as much as you, because even maybe a day ago,
I'm like Wow.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
When you talk sometimes I get you.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
A yeah and you know what I'm talking. Yeah, I
know what you're talking about.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
I'm like, dude, whenever you do stuff like that, I'm like,
thank God I'm not Lunchbucks because his talking just about
God his ass kit.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
Yeah, I mean, I mean for real, So you can.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
Brag about being miser outgoing, but but no, no.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
No, I'm not bragging about being missed outgoing. I'm just
saying you saying that you were just an orb that
wasn't really you. Maybe that is true for you, but
I look at myself and I think, man, I have
been that way since I was younger, and the orb
that was floating through those times and those tribulations in
those stages in life, I think that is still who

(10:22):
I am today, and it feels good.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
Have texts from Justin that are just phenomenal.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Okay, we're gonna get to that. We should probably start
the show. We're gonna do it lot because it's Friday,
Happy Birthday.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
A day early.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
We oh the one, two, three sore losers? What up? Everybody?
I am Lunchbox. I know the most about sports, so
I give you the sports facts, my sports opinions, because
I'm pretty much a sports genius. The all it says
in from the West, from the North.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
I now live northwest and that works pretty well together.
I have three acres ish two point three. They're probably
gonna come by it at my door the next day
or two. But we do have two kids at Vanderbilt
nerd it frosting. Justin does need to check on him.
He was aforementioned. We're gonna talk about text from him
from gun Lake. The casino had him in the clutches,

(11:14):
but he's finally out on the dinghy. He's fishing again.
He's back with Mother Nature after of life. But we
got updates on Justin. None of that made any sense,
and I was distracted by scuba in the window outside.

Speaker 2 (11:27):
Over to you man, well here's the deal. And also tomorrow,
I would like to wish a happy birthday to Oscar
buddy I met in college. He has the same birthday.
He will be turning forty six tomorrow. Amy Romer, she
will be turning forty five. We went to middle school
and high school together. We have the same anniversary of
wedding date and we have the same birthday, and so

(11:48):
happy birthday to her. And then also Sydney, Sidney de
lu Loggi. They used to be an intern with us,
and then she worked with us, and then she moved
to Abu Dhabi, got married and I believe she has
child freaking a.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
I just remembered Abbey has the same birthday as me
every freaking year.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
I remember that last second.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
That sucks.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
But yes, anyways, and also I want to talk about
like I may need to take a break from sore
Loser's Nation. I am gonna tell you what. I may
need to step back because this is consuming my life.
I'll join you because these people that are the nation
have invaded my dreams.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
I had a.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
Dream the other night, Okay, I'm okay, No, no I did.
I had a dream and it was Mlkday weekend coaches convention,
and for some reason, I'm trying to go back to
college and I'm trying to walk to campus and all

(12:47):
of a sudden, Miguel and his wife pull up and like,
what are you doing? I was like, man, I just
gotta go over here and see about this one class
and I don't know if I'm gonna have time for
the convention this weekend because this is very important to me.
And then They're like, dude, you can't walk that far.
We'll give you a ride. So I get the car

(13:09):
with them and we're driving and out of nowhere, I'm like, oh, so,
where's Bee. Where's b Magnamie? And they said, oh, she's
not coming this weekend? And I said, what do you mean?
How is she not coming to the convention? She comes
every year, she's a mainstay of the convention. And they're like, Ah,
don't worry about it. You know, she's busy with work

(13:30):
and she decided she didn't want to do it this year.
And then I'm like, wait, it's not even convention weekend,
and they were like, you're right, But we tried to
do a mini convention. It was very confusing. But I
had a dream these people are in my dream, and
I said, I am worried too much about sore Losers
Nation that they are in my dreams now, and it's

(13:51):
freaking me out what just happened.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
I don't know if I ever dream about a trucker,
if you're ever you're dreaming.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
About Kolbe White, dude, Oh my gosh, I can tell
you what. Usually I'm dreaming about stuff, and they're not
of the same sex, and they're not well, Miguel's wife
and being McNamee are not of the same sex. Yeah,
and I.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
Mean they're typically on tropical destinations. My mind knows where
to go, and it's if I'm ever at work. When
I'm at work, I dream about work. If I take
a nap at work, I dream about work every time.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
That's weird.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
When I'm at home, for whatever reason, my mind knows
I go tropical baser friends, partying, running, partying, running, never
getting hunted or killed, always just living life. Those are
my dreams. At work, I dream about work every time.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
That's see, it's weird, dude.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
And maybe I had seen Marisol from Stage Pilot again
at the dog park. I've seen her a second time,
and we were talking about the convention. I don't know
what it was. I have no idea. And then Miguel
and his wife decided to drive me to the airport,
and I was.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
Like, yeah, I gotta get out of here.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
But the line to get into the airport was so
long that I got out of the car and I
started walking, trying to make it up to the terminal
because the traffic was so bad. Just a dream that
made no freaking sense kanky, But I'm just telling you
what is going on in my head. And that leads
me to my next question or email, and it comes

(15:24):
from Sherry Morris. Coachers. Throw a girl a bone and
put the add ons up already. I'm ready to buy.
Some of us would prefer making one payment or setting
one payment plan added. My add brain can only handle
so many payments.

Speaker 3 (15:41):
Ps.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
I moved all the way from Maryland just to be
on the pod and here it is almost a year
later and I'm still waiting. Can't wait for CC six
Sore Losers Nation for Life. Sherry Cherry, I'm glad you
brought that up. The early bird pricing will be extended
because we have not been able to get the add
ons updated and put on the website. We had some

(16:04):
last minute cancelations. The Preds not having a game kind
of took away our Saturday night plan of doing something
with the Preds. And then this thing that we used
to ride around and drink beers and sing. They said
they didn't want to work with us this year, so
we are trying to find another company that wants to
work with us that we can do that. So, yes,

(16:25):
I'm sorry, the add Ons have taken a detour. We
promised you July first. We got it up by July first.
The add Ons, we thought we had it all locked in.
We had some last minute changes. They will be up shortly.
We are doing our best, I promise. Huh.

Speaker 3 (16:42):
Happy birthday to me.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
Hallelujah.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
I tell you, nad On, we need what circa casino?

Speaker 3 (16:49):
That would be awesome. You want to take it back
to Vegas?

Speaker 2 (16:52):
I just thought about it since I was at the
one in Vegas.

Speaker 3 (16:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
Isn't the one in Kentucky the same one?

Speaker 3 (16:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (16:58):
And we tried to work with them last year and
the sportsbook there said they had no interest.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
That's a pretty cold call. We have no interests awesome?

Speaker 2 (17:11):
Yeah, all right, well that sounds good man.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
Real We already go ahead and cancel the twenty thirty
convention because of the Super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
Probably okay, two thousand and thirty, we'll have to take
it elsewhere.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
No, no, no, I'm saying people need to buy up
now because it's gonna be we take off that year.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
Oh, twenty thirty can't happen.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
It'll be. Everything will be super Bowl preparation for two
months before the super.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
Bowl twenty thirty will be in Paducah.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
I like that idea.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
We're gonna take a break, we're gonna come back, We're
gonna hear from Justin. And maybe that's when Ray's gonna
surprise me with my birthday celebration.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
I really don't want anything. Forty five is not like
a milestone year. It's not anything to celebrate. But I'm
just telling you it is my birthday tomorrow. Happy birthday
to me. We'll take a break, We'll be right back. Yeah.
Are we back from commercial culture?

Speaker 3 (18:02):
Yes? We are.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
And you know what I thought during that commercial? I realized,
you know whose birthday is also tomorrow, Sydney de Loggie, Justin.
He has the same birthday as you. I am ninety
nine percent sure that Justin has the exact same birthday
as me. I don't know what made me think that,

(18:24):
but I am pretty sure that his birthday is tomorrow.
I don't google, and I don't know what you would google. Hey,
is it Justin's birthday tomorrow? I said, happy birthday?

Speaker 3 (18:35):
Did you? Hey?

Speaker 2 (18:37):
Am I doing the text? Can I convert why I
brought up Justin? Oh?

Speaker 1 (18:42):
But I'm converting out of that, Okay. I just want
to give you an update. Okay, he hit a guy
on a tire bike a unicycle? What he goes? Hey,
you think your day was bad? I hit a guy
on a one tired bike.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
How did he do that?

Speaker 1 (19:02):
He was pulling out of the hospital and they got these,
you know in in Nashville, scooters, bikes, e bikes, there's
the unicycles, there's the tires on a motor. It was
one of those flying circus tires. Guy was riding it
right in front of him.

Speaker 2 (19:17):
Smacked him. The kid was bleeding.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
Cop was there though, cop already ruled and he said innocent.

Speaker 2 (19:24):
Wow, So Justin walked. Did the person walk away or
did they have to be ambulance store? No, he was good,
but he said he was battered a little bit. Justin's
supers and I hit him.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
You know what, Angelina is ex kind of They still talk. No,
but she's on the Amalfi coast right now. Every day
it's lemon Cello and a bikini picture. Yeah, and I go,
Angelina's on the Amalfi Coast right now taking down lemon
Cello shots. And you just hit a unicycle biker at
gun Lake.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
Dude, I can't even imagine the feeling of hitting someone
like getting in a car wreck, like just a boom
that feels bad enough, but to hit a actual like
biker or pedestrian, I can't even. Oh my gosh, I
guess to be sick.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
The closest I've been I get a car accident, I've
been in one of those. That's a wamna. You almost blackout.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
It's so powerful, but just from a stopped position to
hit somebody where you kind of almost feel it more.

Speaker 1 (20:29):
I bumped into a car back when I first learned
to drive. I didn't know you were supposed to watch
the person turning right all the way until they fully
turn right. Yeah, so I looked he was turning right. Cool,
oh I'm clear, and I started to go and just
gave him enough of a tap. White car I had,
a red car, made a little bit of a mark person.
I was like, we're cool, we'll scrape it off later.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
That's legit because like my roommate from college, he was
in a little fender bender in a red light and
the guy was turning, so he starts to look. The
guy starts to go, and then so my roommate starts
to look look, dink hits the car because he stopped.
But it's slow, slow, but it's slow, maybe five miles

(21:10):
an hour, and you know, they exchange insurance and everything,
and he you know, I work at you know, quiz No's,
and blah blah blah, okay, cool, you know whatever. Well
a week later he's talking to his insurance. He's like, yeah,
the guy's complaining about whiplash neck damage, saying you nailed him.
And he's like, I didn't nail anything. I didn't nail

(21:31):
and I was going five miles an hour max. There
is no way. So whatever, he's pissed. He's I'm gonna
go to Quiznos and talk to him. I'm like, no, no,
that's the dumbest thing you can do, Like what are
you thinking?

Speaker 1 (21:43):
Well, why did guy tell him I work at quis.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
I don't know how that came up, or maybe he
looked up his name, I don't know, but he found
out he worked at Quiznos. And so I was like,
you can't go up there because I'm gonna go up there.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
And I'm like, all right, if you want to go
up there.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
He drove up there and he decided not to go in.
He goes, that's a bad idea. I can't do that.
That's the stupidest thing I'd ever do. Hey, man, is
your neck hurting? Come here you I'll give you something
to hurt about. And so cool. Six months later, we're
moving out of our apartment. Yeah, I'll take a number
seven and guess what he finds. He finds that phone

(22:20):
number on a little note piece of paper. He goes,
just remember the sum said he was hurt, neck pain.
I'm gonna give him a call. So he calls, Hey, man,
you think you got a problem, I'll come up there
and give you a problem. You want your neck to hurt,
I'll make sure it damn hurts, say a threat included
in the police report. And he hangs up and five

(22:42):
minutes ever sing what did I just do? I'm such
a dia. What did I just do? Oh my god?
And he had a call back. I'm so sorry. I
was just a bad mood. Sorry, I just found your number.
I apologize. Who's your cousin Abby? No, my roommate, geez,
But yeah, he got mad. Can we do the text
from justin?

Speaker 3 (22:56):
Now?

Speaker 1 (22:57):
That was basically it that I realized that they're I
don't know people like that segment Hold on you when
you get criticized, When you get criticized all of a
sudden that you get gun Gi.

Speaker 2 (23:07):
You teased it at the beginning of the show saying,
oh my gosh, I have some home run texts from Justin,
and then I set it up by saying, man, I'm
pretty sure Justin's birthday is tomorrow, and you come with
I only got one text, he hit a guy on
a bike.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
What me time for a Nudi bat Me time for
a Nudi mag that's our reference to a fantasy football magazine. Okay,
him thirteen hour a day. Just got home. No time
for triple X Morgan. That's his nickname for Morgan. Got
it me NFL idiot, not nudy women.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
Him. Yeah, you're right. I'm caught up in the job
and need to get back to the basics of life.
Fantasy football. Me, I got a brand new one.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
It was in my hotel room at circa full color,
lots of picks him frontal, I said me, honestly, having
cracked it, just hoisted it and it got it across
state lines.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
These are all him.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
Shouldn't reveal the goods yet until you secured it across
state lines. In other news, I hit a man.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
With my car.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
More details to follow, fed up my front end. It
was just a guy in one of those can motorized tires,
not even in a car like me. You hit up,
get bought? You hit a flying tire? What the is
going on at gun Lake?

Speaker 3 (24:32):
Him?

Speaker 1 (24:33):
I hit some guy on a tire, Yes, I did.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
Me.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
Angelina is getting banged on the Amalfi Coast doing lemon
cello shots.

Speaker 2 (24:42):
And you hit a unicycle. You're in a blue state.
They're gonna come for the dinghy. Who witnessed it? Poker
Pete or Roulette, Randy him? The good cops man, they
saw it happen. The cop was literally right there. Guy
was bleeding out of his those I was in scrubs.
Cop turned a blind eye, not even a ticket, and

(25:05):
I was turning left out of my complex.

Speaker 3 (25:11):
He was bleeding out of his nose.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
Dude, he made a guy blead. I just imagine it
gets out in his scrubs.

Speaker 3 (25:21):
Hey what up?

Speaker 2 (25:22):
Doc?

Speaker 3 (25:22):
Oh man?

Speaker 2 (25:25):
Is it his birthday? I go, happy birthday?

Speaker 3 (25:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (25:28):
Five minutes ago, he goes, thanks man, I don't feel
a day over forty one for my birthday. This year,
I'm going to ask for GoFundMe for the local community.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
But it will be to my Venmo. So is it
his birthday today or tomorrow? I'll say what day is
it to I don't even know what day your birthday is,
but we know it's around this time. That's crazy. I
can't believe you have Sydney, You and Justin. Don't forget
about Amy, don't forget about Oscar. Who's Amy? The ones

(25:58):
we announced? No, Me is the one I went to
middle school with, in high school with. We have the
same wedding date and same birthday. It is crazy.

Speaker 3 (26:07):
We're not married to.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
Each other cause it is a tight friend circle. Me Abby,
exact same birthday. You justin Sydney, exact same birthday, and
we all kind of work together while the odds of
all that happening, we have to almost play our birthday
numbers when we hit a roulette wheel.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
Also, it would be more you know, like, Okay, if
you have a big company where you have a work
with a lot of people, and you know, like there's
five hundred people and there's like three people that have
the same birthday, totally get it. We're talking about like
a ten people little like radius. We're not talking we
work with fifty people. The ten people we work with,
and three of them have the same birthday. Wild And

(26:43):
the same year I stopped talking to my brother. We
now text and talk again. After the Tigers game in September.
You'll remember that. Look back through the instagram.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
The same year I stopped talking to him, I was
about to have my own birthday because we're twins. Yeah,
Abby starts working here and me and Abby have same birthday.
I never once in my entire life, got to celebrate
my birthday by myself.

Speaker 2 (27:04):
It's always been split.

Speaker 3 (27:06):
That's crazy.

Speaker 2 (27:08):
Yeah, And the bad thing is continue no, I'll go with.
The bad thing is I forget every.

Speaker 1 (27:13):
Year that it's Abbey's birthday, and so she'll always be like,
what are you doing for your birthday? And I just
go in, go in, go in. Thirty minutes later, I'll
be like, oh, it's her birthday too, Hey, what are.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
You doing for yours?

Speaker 1 (27:24):
I forget every year that it's her birthday.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
But the good news is you don't have to invite
her to your brunch because you know she's got her
own birthday plans. True. And now with the engagement soon
to be marriage and all that.

Speaker 1 (27:36):
You know, there's stuff with kids, so there's no pressure
really to hit Broadway together.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
Yeah, and you know how you're getting hate. I got
an email, hey, boys, had to respond to the Ray hate.
I don't really understand where it comes from. I'm not
sure what these people listen to, but it's not the
same as it. But it's not the same as me.
What Ray, keep being you. I stayed up Saturday night
as well, watching a Papa Shot tournament in Vegas, and

(28:04):
I gotta say I was truly impressed. Even though you're
tiny and it's a regulation hoop for you, that was
damn impressive. That's pretty funny, hey, effort. Those hoops are
actually statistically, mathematically geometrically, it's harder to get one of
those balls in one of those hoops than an NBA basketball.

(28:25):
In an NBA hoop, those.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
Balls are sixty eight percent coverage in the hoops. NBA
basketballs are only sixty two percent coverage in a hoop.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
Even though you're tiny and it's a regulation hoop for you,
that was damn impressive. See you boys. In January, Joe
from Sarasota, Oh, Joe, I knew I liked that humor.
I knew it. Hey, what a great line, even though
you know it's ragged for you. Dude, that has to
be on our next shirt. What that rimus regulation for you?

(28:57):
That's hilarious. That's really funny. And we're gonna new merch eventually.
Day Ones has hit me up twice in the email,
and I have not responded because we have not come
up with designs. I apologize, we will respond. And then
also about the hate. I talked to my dad and
he's like, gosh, Ray must be easy to fight with
with his wife. His wife just has to go you're short,
and he's gonna be like, I'm sorry, listen, toolbox.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
I know you don't get on the media's but yes,
when you get a little bit of hate, all of
a sudden, you get gun shy.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
But then I reread it, and what was I gonna
say about it? All? Oh?

Speaker 1 (29:31):
I know I'm not annoying, but they did give constructive criticism.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
It probably is annoying. When you're driving down the car
and two guys are interrupting each other. You want him
to finish a story like what That was fine because
I finished the sentence. It was a comma.

Speaker 1 (29:45):
But the problem was if we're talking We don't talk
over each other anymore. We used to five years ago,
but now sometimes your stories are so drawn out. I
feel like I have to add something, which necessarily I
don't have to. Your cadence is so slow, but people
love for a story. I guess I have no idea,
So I'm just saying we're getting used to each other.
Since the other guy left us, we were left naked

(30:07):
and scared and afraid. I can't believe the podcast is
still going, but yeah, it's a solid podcast.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
I know it's good. I think your interruptions are great
because I do do a lot of kids stories, right.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
You know why?

Speaker 2 (30:22):
You know why I do a lot of kids stories
because I have kids. Oh I'm in that stage of life.
I can't tell you about the single days, about going
to the bar, hitting Broadway, doing brunch. I don't have
those stories, guys, I have kids, So yes, I'm gonna
tell kids stories. Ray's gonna interrupt because he doesn't have kids.
He doesn't understand what it's like to have kids.

Speaker 1 (30:43):
The real question is was it the most popular to
go out and party and stuff when we were at
that age, because now is it even popular to do that?

Speaker 2 (30:52):
Yeah, I was downtown last week and do it was packed. Oh,
it was absolutely packed. We'll take a break and we'll
come right back.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
Well, I'm doing a merch meeting, so I'll let you
know in a month.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
Okay, Well, I just want to talk about one week
ago today, baby Box one turned to eight years old. Bro,
we already celebrated it. No, I forgot to tell you
this about how frustrating it is as a parent to
do things for your children. It's something you try to
do to make their birthday special. You want to make

(31:25):
sure they feel the love on their birthday and you
want them to know that they are the center of
your universe, like today is all about you. So we
had gone to the grocery store the night before got
a big old number eight balloon, a big old balloon
that says happy birthday, and we had left it in
the kitchen. Whoa do you still have it?

Speaker 3 (31:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (31:49):
Whoa Bays Cancer Versary is the same age as your kid.
Because she just celebrated seven, her eighth will.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
Be in March. I will hold on to that balloon
till March. So anyway, we also got him a card,
and it was a card that you open it up
and it says, celebrate good times. Come on, you know
that song? Mm hm, So I don't know, I don't
know what the beat or the whatever. You get the point.
And so we write something really nice about how proud

(32:23):
we are of him making All Stars, doing the swim team,
completing first grade, all that ballet.

Speaker 3 (32:31):
No, no ballet.

Speaker 2 (32:32):
He has not shown any interest in that, and so
we you know, sign it, lick the envelope, smack it
in there and leave it on the table. And my
wife hits me up last Friday while I'm still at work,
and she's like, oh my gosh, baby, Box one is
in such a bad mood. He said, why he was

(32:54):
not happy with his card, Like, what do you mean?
She goes number one, he said, you should know that
I don't want a singing card that I don't like
when cards sing. Ah, so you kidding me? This really
makes me mad on my birthday. Wow. Wow, okay, you

(33:16):
know what. We love you too. I'm sorry. We tried to,
you know, make it fun and you open the card
and it sing my bad okay, cool? Well and she
goes and number two, he said, and number two, you
know I don't like this song. I don't like it,
so Why would you get a song that I don't
like in a singing birthday card and you didn't get

(33:36):
to experiences because you were at work. I was at work,
and I'm like, how does he not like celebrate good times?

Speaker 3 (33:43):
Come on?

Speaker 2 (33:44):
Cool in the Gang?

Speaker 3 (33:45):
Is that what they are?

Speaker 2 (33:46):
Yeah? How what is wrong with that song? It's upbeat,
it's fun, and it sings it for maybe fifteen twenty
seconds at the card? Sorry, he goes, you know I
don't like that song, And so if you know I
don't like that song, why would you pick that card out?
How would I know that he doesn't like Cool in
the game? How how would we know that?

Speaker 1 (34:06):
But also, you got it at probably Dollar General and
there's maybe one option.

Speaker 2 (34:11):
Well, we got it at the grocery store, and I
mean it was one of the few options. I'm not
really a fan of the singing cards that are a
little bit more expensive. I would just prefer to open
it up, don't pay the extra money for the song
to be in there, especially when you get it and
the kid doesn't like it. It was very frustrating, and so
it just really made me feel good, warm and fuzzy
that I took the time to go to the grocery

(34:32):
store the night before, and that I was going to
be walking into the house last Friday and it was
going to be just anger towards me because I picked
out a card that said, SEU break good times.

Speaker 3 (34:43):
Come on.

Speaker 2 (34:44):
I can't believe you even cared.

Speaker 1 (34:46):
My parents would have threatened us with no birthdays the
next year and no Christmas. The amount of times that
we got threatened with no Christmas presents. Now that I
think of it, I'm like scarred basers always like, why
are you a little weird about Christmas?

Speaker 2 (34:58):
And I'm not weird about Chris. I think it was
just that I was always poor with my other ex girlfriends,
so I never really could buy them presents.

Speaker 1 (35:05):
That was one of the reasons. The other reason was
throughout childhood, my parents always threatened no Christmas, no birthday
if you like didn't pick up a fork, no birthday
this year, what you watched an R movie at your
friend's house, No Christmas or birthday? And you guys like
got him felt bad for him not liking his card.

Speaker 2 (35:26):
No, No, I felt bad for me. Like I didn't feel
bad because I'm like, how do you not like that song?
You've probably heard that song twice in your life maybe
and to say you don't like it.

Speaker 3 (35:37):
Stop.

Speaker 2 (35:38):
He was just in a bad mood. I felt bad
for me, saying, well, hell, why did I even get
him a card if he's gonna complain about it? Like
I went through the steps of going to the grocery
store and picking out a two balloons in a card,
and I got him some because he wanted donuts for
his birthday, so I got him some donuts from the
day before, from you know whatever they had made him.

(35:59):
They just had him there in a three pack. So
I got two three packs. And then by the time
I got home, guess what all six donuts were going
I didn't even get one. And the card not as
hard of a transport. The balloons, though.

Speaker 3 (36:11):
Oh that's annoying.

Speaker 2 (36:12):
Gotta get them heliumed.

Speaker 1 (36:14):
And they're massive if I remember correctly, And there's the
side balloons, and you got to fit them all in
your car. Then you got to make sure they don't
blow out in the neighborhood, and then get them into
the house and then they're secured, and then.

Speaker 2 (36:24):
You got to make sure they put a weight on them,
because if not, they fly away and you can't get
him back. It's really annoying. And when he comes down
in the morning, they had been on the ceiling of
the house instead of on you know, on the table.

Speaker 3 (36:36):
So it was great though. But he was happy with
the balloons.

Speaker 2 (36:38):
He carried those around all day and it ended up
being a good birthday. It just started all out bad.
But I am glad that I had to work so
I didn't get to see the anger because I got
him a card that said, seuh break good times.

Speaker 3 (36:52):
Come on.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
At least you're not like my dollar general. They only
have the number zero. I'm like, ah, hi there, yeah,
do you guys have any other numbers? Back there? My
wife is celebrating her cantroversary. My wife is celebrating so
many years at her job, and you have the number zero?
What would that be celebrating in particular? Like? What ten? Right?
But it's just a zero.

Speaker 3 (37:14):
That's weird.

Speaker 2 (37:14):
Yeah, Hey, congrats and the zero on your test. Hey,
congrats on your NFL team not winning. Hey, congrats on
getting laid this many times in the past year. Who
celebrates the number zero? Thanks, I'll hang up and listen. Also,
these number birthday candles are an absolute ripoff because.

Speaker 1 (37:32):
You got to get them as well as the cake
and put them on the kick.

Speaker 2 (37:35):
Correct, and they are massive and they don't charge you
like they's tiny. They charge you like they are massive.
And how long are you going to burn that number
eight cake? And also does the handle wax get into
the cake?

Speaker 3 (37:48):
Sometimes?

Speaker 1 (37:48):
And yes, like are they going to be surprised right
now or in five minutes? Because there could be wax
all over it.

Speaker 2 (37:54):
Because you light that number eight, you're seeing happy birthday
to you. That takes what fifteen to twenty se then
they blow it out and guess what that number eight
candles done?

Speaker 1 (38:04):
That's why you got to just go with the sticks
that our parents did. You know, the toolbox would throw
in the individual at a time in between his construction jobs.
He would just stick in the individual and they'd be like, well,
how many more sticks do I add this year?

Speaker 2 (38:17):
Kid? I think it's eleven? Had one more? And then
there you go, and then they stop eventually at eighteen.
I will say I did like the stick candles better.
The number eight just kind of looks plain and not
really as entertaining. So we did number eight and we
did the sticks. But then it's confusing because you're like, eight,
what are the sticks and baby box. He wanted to

(38:37):
make his own birthday cake. So on Friday they did
go to the grocery store and he was like, I
want these candles, so he picked out stick candles, but
he didn't realize they were the trick candle, so he
kept blowing it out and they'd come back. He's like,
why aren't theyse going out? Hey did that too. He'd
be like, mom, did you get bad candles? And she's like,
you picked him and he's like, well, I don't know.

(38:59):
I'm pulling as hard as I can and they will
not stay out. He had a rotten birthday. Well, he
had a good birthday because then we went to the
trampoline park and we jumped till nine forty five at night.

Speaker 3 (39:10):
It was great.

Speaker 2 (39:11):
But he was unappreciative in the beginning. But I will
not be that way tomorrow morning, no matter what happens.
When they wake me up at six am and their
a dad Dad at your birthday, I'm gonna wake up
with a smile on my face.

Speaker 1 (39:23):
He could be replacing you on the Big Show sooner
than we think. And we'll talk about that after the break.

Speaker 3 (39:27):
Oh were going to break?

Speaker 2 (39:28):
Oh are we done?

Speaker 3 (39:29):
I thought we were done. But if you want to
go to break, we'll go to break. We'll bright back.

Speaker 2 (39:35):
Ray what sports are on this weekend? No, I'll tell
you what's on as Oh, Lebron James let me. Everybody
just wait on my announcement. Hey, I'm Lebron. He is
so annoying. Hey, guys, don't worry. I already know what
team I'm gonna go to, but I'm gonna wait because
training camp or NFL is starting. I don't want I
don't want the NFL to overshadow my announcement. And the

(39:57):
World Cup was on, so I couldn't announce it during
the World Cup because we know the World Cup is
way more important than me. I want to make sure
there's a dead period that I can announce what team
I'm going to.

Speaker 3 (40:07):
Sick.

Speaker 2 (40:08):
Everybody could add like this is going to change the
landscape of the NBA. But what Lebron realizes doesn't realize,
is it doesn't matter anymore. Right, he's not in the mix.

Speaker 3 (40:18):
He's not in the mix.

Speaker 2 (40:20):
Like, Okay, he signs with Cleveland, what does that make
him the third best team in the East? Yeah? Can
a team.

Speaker 1 (40:26):
Police come out and say we don't want him that
great that they don't want.

Speaker 3 (40:30):
Him, that'd be amazing.

Speaker 1 (40:31):
I mean, I think he goes to Miami, right Bam
and Jonas.

Speaker 2 (40:35):
I think he's going to go back to Cleveland, one
leaf and just if this is what it's like for him,
just making his announcement that farewell tour that he's going
to do at every stadium, Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (40:47):
What about Draymond. Didn't Draymond say he could wear his
jock or what was it?

Speaker 2 (40:50):
I he is number? He said he could wear his
number if he comes to Golden State. So yeah, it's
interesting because you go back to Cleveland because that's where
it started, your hometown, and you say goodbye that way.
But you're not going to win a title. Right. The
game's evolved.

Speaker 1 (41:05):
What we saw with the Spurs is you get some
quick cats, you get some long arms, you get guys
that fly. That's the new game. It's not the Lebron
with his dunks. He's never been a great outside shooter.

Speaker 3 (41:15):
Lebron.

Speaker 1 (41:15):
He got to shoot more threes. The games just kind
of he had a great run, really good run.

Speaker 3 (41:19):
Man.

Speaker 2 (41:20):
He's still amazing.

Speaker 1 (41:21):
He's still amazing, but he's not going to add to
a championship team. And now, well, like you think if
this the Spurs got Lebron, he wouldn't have lost if
we had Lebron last year?

Speaker 2 (41:31):
Really? Yeah, all right, who's he replaced Wemby. I'm just
saying he could play a role, but he has to
go somewhere where he's like the third or fourth option,
where he doesn't have to carry everything on his shoulders.
But the Cleveland Cavaliers James Harden. If you have James Harden,
you're not winning. No, they're not winning with Harden. Donovan Mitchell, Yes,

(41:54):
spite is a kill He doesn't play defense. Spie is
a kill up.

Speaker 3 (41:56):
He doesn't play defense.

Speaker 1 (41:57):
When I saw at the NBA d L League and
a summer camp, he could really do some things with
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (42:03):
He could play with the oklaha Homa City Thunder. Yeah right,
why not not? Now that they got that six man
and Jack Mitchell. He couldn't because he can't run up
and down the court. They fly too fast, the Spurs,
they fly too fast. We don't want to slow it
down for him. So yes, he could go to Miami,
but they have they that still means no shooting. They
have no one to shoot the ball. You have to

(42:25):
have someone that can make a three pointer. I think
we just broke. The teams need to start saying, hey,
we're gonna pass. Hey Lebron, thanks but no thanks, but yeah,
don't worry. He'll drag it up as long as possible
so more people will talk about him. Eh, where's Lebron going? Hey, Lebron,
I hate to say you. We're not all sitting on
the edge of our seat waiting for your announcement. I

(42:45):
really didn't even realize you're not on the team yet.

Speaker 1 (42:48):
He needs to say some team that just shocks everybody,
like I'm going to Washington the Pelicans.

Speaker 3 (42:53):
Oh man, that would that would.

Speaker 2 (42:57):
Here. The truth is, it's going to it's going to
be an Eastern Conference team. He hasn't unless he's going
to Oklahoma.

Speaker 3 (43:05):
City or the Spurs.

Speaker 2 (43:06):
He has no chance to make the NBA finals if
he stays in the.

Speaker 3 (43:10):
West, no chance.

Speaker 2 (43:12):
The only chance he has to get back to the
finals is go East or it's a little bit easier.

Speaker 1 (43:18):
Well, right, but you can't. You can't play god. You
can't really pick that. You go out on a championship,
you just finished your last season and call it good.

Speaker 2 (43:25):
Why did he leave the Lakers.

Speaker 3 (43:26):
Because they weren't gonna win a championship.

Speaker 2 (43:28):
Because there wasn't a bubble exactly. He knew that with
Luca not playing defense, they weren't going to win a championship.
He couldn't do it. He got his son, his fully
guaranteed deal. He's out of there. He did his job.
He got his son to the NBA. He wants him
to stand on his own two feet now. And Bronnie James,
he's done a good job. He's a role player now

(43:50):
he's in the NBA. He's done it.

Speaker 1 (43:52):
He made it and also didn't Brady went out on
a bad one.

Speaker 2 (43:57):
He won it.

Speaker 1 (43:57):
But when in the next year is bad, you can't
play god. It's tough to make it perfect. You're probably
gonna end in a car wreck or like a unicycle wreck.

Speaker 2 (44:06):
Or it could be the incident where it's like Jordan
on the Wizards, really bad, really bad, really bad. Oh,
there's a laundry list of really bad, some.

Speaker 3 (44:16):
Really bad ones.

Speaker 2 (44:16):
Tony Parker went to Charlotte for a year.

Speaker 3 (44:18):
That was stupid. It was so dumb. Who else?

Speaker 2 (44:23):
Patrick Ewing went to the Magic I think, oh gosh,
that's gross. Oh Kobe went to he was with the
Lakers the whole time.

Speaker 3 (44:32):
Yeah, Kobe went to Heaven.

Speaker 1 (44:35):
Yeah, there was no joke there, right, who else have
you seen the picture circulating of Carl Malone and John Stockton? No,
you just got to google it, but we don't google.
They go, these two guys were the teams were the
team playing the Bulls in the nineties. Carl Malone looks

(44:56):
like a truck driver and John Stockton's wearing shorts, a
T shirt and a belt, and he looks.

Speaker 2 (45:00):
Like a nerd from Stanford.

Speaker 1 (45:03):
They look like two just out of place, not basketball players.
And they go, these are they got? These are the
reasons why the Bulls won in the nineties.

Speaker 3 (45:10):
That's funny.

Speaker 2 (45:11):
They look ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (45:13):
Carl Malone's got like, I don't know, a fake police
mustache on, and like he's wearing like body armor clothes,
but it's not cool clothes. Neither of them are dressed cool,
I think is the point of the picture. Yeah, they're
both dressed like total tools.

Speaker 2 (45:26):
That's really funny. All right, guys, we'll have a great weekend.
I don't know what this pod was all over the place.
Sore Losers dot Com, get your tickets. Like we said,

Speaker 3 (45:41):

which one we're gonna replay?

Speaker 1 (45:48):
Justin twenty fifth is his birthday? I told you, Hey,
that's twenty fifth, dummy, tomorrow. I think we have the
same birthday. So I'm starting to GoFundMe account for him
and his kids because I know he doesn't have a lot.
But it will be to my venmo, if you know
what I mean. For my birthday.

Speaker 2 (46:04):
I just want to see, all right, for my birthday,
I want you to announce lunch is okay? Alright, that's it? Unreadable?

Speaker 3 (46:11):
Did you tell him I remember his birthday?

Speaker 2 (46:13):
I'll tell you. I think I texted it. Yeah, that's
pretty I said, lunch thinks it's tomorrow. So there you go,
Thank you, all right, Really, have a good weekend, goes.
We got to go, all right, man, I don't know
which one we're gonna replay this one or Wednesday, you
tell me, but.

Speaker 3 (46:27):

Speaker 2 (46:29):
