Speaker 1 (00:00):
We are the Sore Losers Podcast, where a spinoff of
The Bobby Bone Show, heard every Monday through Friday on
every country station in America. We are lunchboxing, Raymundo. This
is Nashville, Tennessee, the home of the twenty twenty seven
Sore Losers Convention, presented by Freeland Chevrolet.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
You are talking really fast and aggressive. What you were
laughing a minute ago? Where's the laugh? Now?

Speaker 1 (00:23):
That's how McAfee talks.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
What were you laughing about?

Speaker 1 (00:26):
It is also home of the two thousand and thirty
Super Bowl, presented by the super Bowl and the NFL.
I was dying laughing because you know how Morgan rest
in peace. Yeah, she had her bachelorette party, Yes she did,
and she they called it Camp Everley because I believe
that's her gonna be your last name?

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Oh, I thought that's where they went. No, I'm not
that smart.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Lake Geneva, and then it was Camp Everly, and so
Abiza was in the kitchen and I said, hey, Ricky,
because Ricky is one of Morgan's friends and she was
a bridesmaid. Maybe she was there, Yeah, she was at
Camp Everly. And so I said, Ricky, you're back from
Camp Beverly and she goes, yeah, I don't have a voice,
and I'm still recovering, I'm hungover. And then Abiza was

(01:14):
also in the kitchen and I said, hey, Ricky, did
y'all have a stripper at Camp Beverly? And Ricky goes, no,
we didn't have a stripper at Camp Beverly. And then
so it lent itself to it. I go, Abiza, you
would have been perfect for the role. Why didn't you strip?
And he goes, honey, they couldn't have handled all of this, sweetheart.

(01:36):
And there's more people in the office than usual right
now because there's a big meeting today, I guess, And
so there's random people walking around and Abiza goes, honey,
they couldn't have handled me stripping up at Camp Beverly, honey.
And I said, that seemed like it would have been
the perfect role for you. A secret campground in Wisconsin.
Just go out there and let your freak flag fly

(01:58):
Abida and I guess maybe he wasn't that close to Morgan.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Maybe not, but that's okay, because guys can.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Go to bachelorette parties.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Ah yeah, if they like guys. Baser had bj and
he likes and David and they like each other exactly.
That's very interesting. Are we gonna start the show? Yeah,
we gotta start the show. But you came in your
lap and going we gotta start it, we gotta start it,
and I was just and then you didn't even address
the laugh you went straight into the advertisement. I was like,
what is going on?

Speaker 1 (02:28):
It was just funny because there's people that aren't usually
in the office and we're talking about a stripper at
a bachelorette lake house and a Beza says that they can't.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Handle all of this.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
That's pretty funny with salespeople walking around, and then the
higher up's going, what handle? What handle? What?

Speaker 2 (02:44):
What do you do?

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Exactly here? Oh, I'm on the show over here, and
you know, a Beza he doesn't just say something, he goes, honey,
they can't handle all of this. And as he's doing it,
he's rubbing his hands from his chin all the way
down to his nethers.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
You know it's funny. Is I think we've talked to
him about being on the pod last week, Hey, you
need to come on the pod and be like yeah,
and then we never bring him on the pod. We'll
get him on the pod soon soon. And also these salespeople.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Just have to think we're circus animals because you have Ricky,
hey I lost my voice, that I'm hungover, Abiza, you
can't hand on the truth, and then me just yelling
t Babe from the rock station. He's walking around. The
salespeople must just think we're a cast of characters, bunch
of circus monkeys.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Hey, guys, we need you to do this, Okay, I
need you to go meet this client. Okay, I mean that's
what we do. Whatever you guys want, just tell us
where to go and when to be there. We'll be there,
Like in MLKA day weekend in Nashville Coaches Convention. Hopefully
you'll be there, presented by Freeling Schroley.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
We got got the ball, Hits.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
We gotta start the pod man.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
And then in the middle of it all Amy from
the Morning Show is just sitting on the trash can
doing whatever. She's doing a word docu in Gmail. Seriously
in the middle of the entire kitchen and she's doing
some typing.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
I love the way she just throws herself in the mix.
She wants to be seen, to be seen, you know
what I mean. She puts her computer there.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Like, hey, look at me. I'm working.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Hey, guys, take notice, I'm doing some work here. Yep,
you see me. I do work. I work hard. I'm
a hard worker.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
But also we have couches back here that she that
would make more sense.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
That's why I said she wants to be seen to
be seen, because I'm pretty sure people are trying to
eat breakfast, and people are going and banging the fridges.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Amy's just typing away on a word document. Somebody just
threw away a smelly pizza from the weekend. Amy just
typing on a word document. What is Amy from touching herself?
Yet she has a show, a podcast, and it is
called Feeling Your Thing.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Okay, yeah, And I just find it interesting. She could
sit on a comfortable couch, but she goes and sits
on those uncomfortable chairs that don't have high backs and
sits there and guarantee you she doesn't know half the
people that are walking by her. Nope, no chance. But
she's gonna be there and let them. Oh, hey, look
look at my computer. See meat. Yep, I work hard.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
My name is Amy. I work hard.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
But yes, congratulations sir, But let's start the show. We're
gonna do it live. We are the one two two
sol losers. What up, everybody? I am lunchbox. I know
the most about sports, so I give you the sports facts,
my sports opinions, because I'm pretty much a sports genius, y'all.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
It's Sison. I'm from the North. I'm an alpha male,
also from the West. I live right now, Northwest with
Baser Indian Lake. Beautiful community. We got three acres of
just gorgeous grass and not much more on it. I
don't even believe we have a tree. We do close
to the house Arbravid's if you will. But we have
two kids at Vanderbilt ther defrosting. Justin should be checking

(05:47):
on him. He was celebrating his birthday. He was up
on a dinghy young gun lake at a casino probably,
and I'm sure he found the bottom of the bottle.
He called me on Saturday. More on that later, but
now over to you.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
Oh man, let me I'll tell you. Friday, I decided
we got off work, and I was like, you know,
what is my birthday weekend? Should I run home to
see my family, hang out with my kids all day Friday?

Speaker 1 (06:09):
Or should I go to the golf course. Already know
what you did? Oh do you post it on Instagram?
I hit up the wife and I said, hey, I
am going to the golf course. I said, I will
see you guys in a little bit.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
My birthdays not till tomorrow, but I'm gonna spoil myself
with a round of golf. So I drove out to
a golf course and I walked into that clubhouse and
I said, eighteen holes for a single, please private or MUNI,
definitely IMMUNI. That's our style. And they said, oh yeah,
we'll just get you on the list right here, write

(06:45):
name down. I'm like, all right, cool, Now you can
just go, you know, put your clubs. Are you gonna
ride or walk? I was like, Ryan, you just put
them on a golf cart. We'll call you when it's
your turn. No problem. So I go out and just
kind of swing a couple, just like getting loose, and
then I go to the putting green. I put a couple.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Cool.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
Then I go to the bathroom and I'm just sitting
there now like I don't know how long you need
to warm up. I'm not really I don't warm up
very often. There's no driving range at this place. I'm
just saying, all right, just kind of walking around and
walking around, all right, gibble, gibble signal to the clubhouse, please,
gibble signal to the clubhouse. Please.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Did you play near me?

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Not near you?

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Okay, now near the airport, because I would have gone,
I know, I would.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Have hit you up if I was playing near you.
But I didn't play near you. I would have told you.
And so I was like, all right, So I go
over there, all right, yeah, yeah, pay like you're gonna
be with the the Jackson brothers, the twins out there.
I'm all right, cool, hey, Andrew. And so I get
in my cart and I drive up to the tea box. Hey,
how's it going. How's it going? Meet the two brothers

(07:52):
and they're gonna play from the Blues. I was like, oh, sorry, guys,
I'm playing for the whites. I'm not as good as
you guys. Oh it's all right, man, it's cool. It's
a good day to for golf. Yeah, it's a beautiful day.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
A difference in five feet.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Over the course of a hole like round adds up
to about three hundred yards cut, So that adds up
a whole another hole that you're playing. Okay, Okay, I mean,
if it didn't make much of difference, then why do
you play the whites? Why don't you just play the blues?

Speaker 1 (08:19):
So now I get what you're saying. You go by
the whole course.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Yeah, go by the whole course, and it's gonna add
up one hole. It's twenty yards, one, it's ten, one,
it's five. Sometimes they're even got it, but eventually it's
three hundred to four hundred yards that you end up
playing more if you play the deeps. So then they
tee off, and then I hear it, guys on the
tea box, just so you know, you got one more
that's gonna join you. The Thomas single, the Thomas singles

(08:45):
gonna join you. Yeah, he's gonna be riding with Gibble.
He's gonna be riding with Gibble are Turtle. I'm like, awesome, man,
So I get to sit in the golf cart with
a stranger for the next eighteen holes.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
They should not be allot to do that.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
They shouldn't force you to be able to put in
a cart with a random person. And I'm like all right.
So I look, and I see this dude running out
of the clubhouse with a big old energy drink, you know,
tall boy energy Jean, and he doesn't have his clubs
with him, so he's running to the parking lot and

(09:23):
he runs to the parking lot and I love golf.
He opens his car and I see him sling the
bag over his back and he is sprinting to the
first tee with his bag on his back, and I'm like,
all right, that's cool, we'll just wait here. Yeah. And
so he gets there and it's like tea off and
it's like, how's it going. He's like, I'm Thomas. I'm like,

(09:44):
nice to meet you, man, I'm Gibbel. And so I
te off and I hit one and then he hits
one and he kind of yanks it left and I
was like, do you want to hit another one? He goes, no, man,
let's just play.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
What about two off the breakfast team.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
That's what I said. I said, you don't even get
He goes, that's what I get for not warming up.
What's it called a breakfast ball?

Speaker 1 (10:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (10:03):
And I said, well, man, there's not even a range here,
so you wouldn't have been able to warm up anyway.
And he goes, that's all right, let's play it how
it is.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
Who is he Drew carry, No, he's Thomas h and
so I.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
Was all right, man, I was like, nothing like getting
thrown in the car with a stranger for the next
eighteen holes. Hopefully we don't hate each other. Trying to
be funny. He's like, yeah, to be all right, all right, cool.
So we go to his ball. It's way over here
by the road in the thick stuff, and he just
kind of chips out into the fairway. Go to mine
in the fairway, hit it right, don't hit the green

(10:34):
or whatever. I hit it left, whatever. We'd go up
to his where he had chipped out into the fairway.
He takes one practice wing. Then he sets up and
he's about one hundred yards out, that's eight and he
pulls the club back, swings Tiger Woods. What the I

(10:56):
about fell out? What the hell was that?

Speaker 1 (10:58):
He yells as he hits, and.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
He goes, you gotta yell Tiger Woods for it to
be a good shot.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
Eighteen holes of this and I'm like, what, eighteen more
tiger Woods.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
He goes, yeah, you gotta yell Tiger Woods if it's
going to go on the green, and I'm like, A right,
he's just joking. That's his Icebreaker. Hilarious, hilarious, so funny. Right,
and so we play and I find out he's just
getting out of the military.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
Real nice guy. Thank you for your service.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
I did say thank you for his service. The brothers
they work in pest control that we were playing with,
and they did say thank you for his service.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
Also.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
He was from California, lived all over the world. Real
nice guy, and he just got out of the military,
bought a house, he's married, all this stuff. We're just
hanging out all around. He's got his don't wear golf shoes,
just tennis shoes. Same his first time playing the course
because he's just new to Nashville, got out of the military,
out of Clarksville.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
Maybe there's a might before or brag.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
Maybe I don't know where he's from, but he was
this was his first you know, he's playing golf. He
starts a new job today, so that's why he had
time to golf.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
Well, good luck, Thomas Andrew.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
And so I'm like, all right, cool, And I'm like
I'm thinking he's done with the Tiger Woods thing, right, Nope,
Tiger Woods, bunny. And you guys don't believe me, right right, Oh, look,
you just make this crap up. There's no way that happens.
This is a whole number thirteen. It would he really

(12:42):
does it you? It would?

Speaker 1 (12:57):
Did it help? I don't know it.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
Eld Or hurt, but he was. He hadn't played golf
in two months?

Speaker 1 (13:03):
He said, was he banging a Perkins waitress?

Speaker 2 (13:08):
He did show up in Winnebago.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
Sounds like tired.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
To dad, it was huh, hilarious. And what's funny is
the twins that we played with they never even bat
it and I they never said, hey man, why do
you yell tiger Woods? They never said what are you doing?
They just acted like it was normal. Of course me,
I'm riding in the car with him, so I gotta
be like, dude, what the hell was that? I don't
hate it. I ton't hate it either, That's what I

(13:32):
say it. But the first hole when he did it,
But what the hell is that?

Speaker 1 (13:36):
What?

Speaker 2 (13:37):
Because at some point he's gonna say it during somebody's
pre shot warm up. Correct, you gotta worry about him
interrupting other golfers. But the good thing is you're not
hitting the golf at the same time, so he can
yell tiger Woods all he wants. It's not going to
mess up anybody in our group. And it was hilarious.
But yeah, I met the guy. The twins were great.
One of them had to cut out at number fourteen.
He had a meeting to go to on a Friday,

(14:00):
and I'm like, what are you doing? Sounds like grinder, uh,
But the course moved great. I played okay. The driver
let me tell you it was gone gone for like
a month. I haven't been on a hit on Friday.
That driver was wack, whack, whack right down the middle.
Now did it matter because I can't hit an iron

(14:20):
still after all these years, still don't know how to
hit an iron. No, it didn't matter. My score was
just about the same. But the driver is back. What
was the score? Ninety five? Yeah, ninety five.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
We all just float in that eighty eight till one
oh five range.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Really, that's all it is. And what's crazy is at
one point I had three pars in a row.

Speaker 1 (14:41):
Then I hit the.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
Fairway triple bogie. I didn't lose a single golf ball,
not one penalty stroke all day. So your putting was bad? No,
my irons were bad. Oh like my second shot, I
can't it's unbelievable. There was one par five boom hit it, boom,
hit it TI one hundred yards out, then scald it
across the green. Don't hit the green in regulation, chip

(15:03):
it on two putt bogey.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
Question. Did you tell the guys it's your birthday?

Speaker 2 (15:09):
No?

Speaker 1 (15:09):
I don't think I did. Ray they gave me a
blowjob shot.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
No, I don't think we talked about my birthday. We
just talked about life. And the one guy, you know, Thomas, like, oh,
really you're on the radio, I.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
Goes, man, I thought air conditioning sales.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
No, the guy in the clubhouse had told him. The
guy in the clubhouse, why would he tell occupation? He said,
hey man, you might recognize his voice from the radio.
What a jack? So I can't really. I couldn't really
lie because he The first thing they said to me was,

(15:43):
hey man, so we were supposed to recognize your voice
or what?

Speaker 1 (15:46):
Could have just went with programming when with my job?

Speaker 2 (15:48):
And I was like, nah, I don't know. And they're like,
come on, man, what do you guys talk about on
the radio? And I'm like, all right, cool, you already know.
So I couldn't really lie.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
Fast women in fast cars.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
So Thomas, who I was riding with, was like, man,
that's the cool thing about golf, man, you just never
know who you're gonna meet. I mean, a week ago,
I'm in the military, you know where in my uniform,
and today I'm playing golf with a guy on the radio.

Speaker 1 (16:10):
Last week he played with Trump. But see, the thing
with us is I never meet somebody I want to meet.
We benefit them more than they benefit us. I meet songwriters,
I'm like, here you go, they're gonna ask me to
put their song on the radio. I mean, a guy
that's retired, Here we go, he's gonna talk about the
good old days, about when he used to listen to
the radio. Up here we go. I'm playing with a woman.

(16:33):
She's gonna talk about wanting to go back to your house.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
And then you're gonna be like, well, only happens when
I'm married.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
That was the time with Justin when he was trying
he thought she was hot and she didn't lit and
he tried to small talk and she wouldn't talk to him.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
That's unfortunate.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
But yeah, I just don't think it ever really benefits
us meeting somebody.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
I mean, it can like I met the guy from
the putting zone last year on the golf course.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
There's a good example. Got randomly paired up with him.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
And it's the same golf course that I went to
this time, and I got paired up with these two
and the two dudes that uh do the exterminating or
pest control.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
I talked to one of them. He said, oh, where
are you from?

Speaker 2 (17:09):
I was. I grew up in Austin, goes man. I
lived in Round Rock for six months. I'm like six
months son. He goes, yeah, I'm starting a business down there.
We're in pest control. And I was like, oh, yeah,
you hit up six we He goes no, I never
made it down that way, man, all work six I
was like six months.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
I was down there all work until I forgot. I
met a guy at peg Leg Porker and he said,
anytime we go in there and ask for the cook
and he can get us a ten percent discount.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
Oh, peg Leg Porker is so good.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
So it does. Actually it did benefit us then a
couple of times with people who've been paired with Yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
So yeah, man, that was my Friday. Man. I just
wanted to tell you that that was my round of golf.
It was a great day to go out there and golf.
It was beautiful and I met some interesting felks. Man
here we go, Oh, I hit record. I didn't want
to hit record. Uh but yeah, so you guys, everybody,
Oh you know lunch you you always it was.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
Tiger what.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
Seeah?

Speaker 1 (18:04):
That was my Friday.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
That was the start to my birthday weekend and it
felt so good. Also, maybe why I wore the headphones
when I played Papa shot. Maybe we started breaking out
the headphones when we golf so you don't have to
talk to people day. He's like bope.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
And also eighteen holes of Tiger Woods. It was pretty
funny though, but it sounds like he sucked. He he
actually from that clip, he was horrible. He was He
was not a ninety five. I guarantee he was a
one hundred ninety five.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
Oh he did shoot like thirty over. He said he's
a twenty nine handicap. But he was like, guys, you
don't keep your handicap after ten. After four holes, he goes,
I'm gonna quit keeping score today, that's guaranteed. And then
he parred like three holes in roun. He goes, actually,
I'm about to keep it scoring man, I'm gonna keep
my score here and uh yeah, so congrats meeting Thomas,

(18:50):
the twins and past control Tiger Woods. And then what
do we do after the golf course? We go we
may hit pool on Friday.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
Night, probably whipped cream bikini now.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
I think we hit the pool on Friday night and
then maybe did movie night after that. I mean, it
was a busy night. That was a great Friday.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
Honey. I don't see any whipped creamy carry boy poor
kool aid, an't you.

Speaker 2 (19:10):
Yeah, then I'll tell you all about my birthday right
after this.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
Well, I eventually have to talk about what Justin did
for his birthday, but first over to you.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
Yeah, so Friday night, Uh, we did go to the pool.
In about seven fifteen, it started raining. We decided we're
not going to stay and sit in the rain. It
wasn't like a hard rain, but I said, boys, out
of the pool.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
We're going home.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
But Dad, we wanted to stay till it closed. Guys,
it's only thirty minutes, so it closes. We already had
the pizza delivered to the freaking pool. Let's go.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
They can tell time.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
Yeah, they can see the seven I mean they know
it's not closed, because they're not kicking you out of
the pool.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
My brother, for the longest time he was in middle
I don't even know to this day if he knows
how to tell time, because you would get confused with
the hour if it was above eight, if it was nine,
or if it was still eight. Yeah, he didn't understand.
I still don't think he knows how un till time.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
That's a tough thing to learn, you know, and it's
it's very difficult because I can see how it's confusing.
But anyway, so we were going back to the house
and they're like, Dad, can we have movie night? I
was like, yeah, let's have movie night. And then they're like, Dad,
we got it. We got to invite the neighbors because
they were at the pool with us, Sarah, and so
we invited the two kids that live around the corner

(20:29):
from us. And I was thinking, they're not gonna want
to come, Like there's no way, and their parents responded.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
Oh my god, they love to they are so excited. Well,
free night.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
I'm like, well, we just volunteered a babysit cool. So
they came over and they were in their pj's and
we got on the they got on the couch and
we cooked like five bags of popcorn.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
What does this have to do with your birthday?

Speaker 2 (20:53):
Well, this is leading into my birthday. And we watched
the Iron Giant Fantastic movie. The kids loved it. They
were hanging on every little thing and they were just
loving it. So then we go to drop the kids
off and my kids go inside their house and play
for another thirty minutes, and I mean, it's like eleven o'clock.
I'm like, guys, we gotta go.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
Well, those parents for sure open up the liquor cabinet.

Speaker 2 (21:16):
For sure. They had glasses of wine sitting on the
coffee coffee room table, whatever coffee table.

Speaker 1 (21:22):
And piece of lingerie.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
So we go home, go to bed, and I'm like, oh,
my birthday is on Saturday. And I get woken up
to baby box dad Happy Birthday. And I'm like, oh,
what time is it? Because he usually wakes up at
six o'clock.

Speaker 1 (21:37):
What I tell you about knocking before you come in here?

Speaker 2 (21:40):
And I roll over and I look, it's eight am.
The kids slept till eight am. That is a miracle.
That's why I was telling you about the night before,
because they were so hyped up about movie night. The
kid actually slept till eight am.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
That's clutch.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
It was fantastic. And of course when you get up,
your phone starts blowing up, justin texting me cakes and
candles or candles and cakes whatever he said. And I'm
like thanks man, And you know you get text from
this person that person, You're like, oh, celebration is on.
So I'm like, all right, what are we gonna do?
And my wife's like, well, I gotta go get a cake.

(22:18):
I'm like, okay, cool. I was like, well, I was
thinking we can all go to the dog park. She's
why I'm running get a cake and then maybe I
can meet you there. And then my middle one's like,
I'll go with mom, and she goes, okay, well we'll
just go out to breakfast, me and you.

Speaker 1 (22:34):
Huh.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
So my wife went to breakfast with my middle son
for my birthday. Nice, very weird. And then so we
are going to take the dog to the dog park.
But here's the thing about my damn dog. The dog
won't come inside, Like if you let it out in
the backyard, it wants you to play chase and grab
ass and you have to chase it all around that backyard.

(22:57):
You can't get it to come in.

Speaker 1 (22:58):
They can't cross the moat.

Speaker 2 (23:00):
Literally leave the back door open and hide in the house.
He won't come in. You gotta and when he comes in,
you gotta run and slam the back door. So then
I'm opening the gate just saying, hey, come on, run free,
run free, man. He won't leave the gate.

Speaker 1 (23:15):
I didn't take your family as one that had a
well trained dog.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
And so we spent forty minutes me and the other
two kids try to get the damn dog so we
could go to the dog park.

Speaker 1 (23:24):
Reason number forty, I don't have a dog. And I'm like,
this is so infuriating. So we finally get the dog.
We finally get the dog.

Speaker 2 (23:35):
And we go to the dog park, and I mean
the dog has a blast. I mean, he's like, oh,
why didn't I come sooner? This would have been a
lot more fun. And run around watch it for an
hour just running with the other dogs, running all around. Fantastic.
Then we go back home, the wife comes back home,
We hang out for a little bit and then I'm like,
all right, boys, everybody, let's go to the driving range.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
I was gonna say, does this ever get interesting?

Speaker 2 (24:00):
Let's go to the driving range and they're like, oh, yeah,
let's go to the driving range.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (24:06):
And they had been like when we go walking by
the driving range, they go find all the balls that
have gone over the net, like, look, I found all
these golf balls and so I have them in a bag.
So we brought the bag. We had free golf balls
for the driving range.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
They were learning a business. They can sell them back
to the golfers.

Speaker 2 (24:22):
That's what they should do. And so my wife's like,
do you want me to go? Or can I stay
and pack?

Speaker 1 (24:29):
So she's eating breakfast when she's supposed to be giving
you your cake, and she's packing when she's supposed to
be at the driving range.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
Yeah, cause she's going on a girls trip on Sunday,
which is the day after my birthday. And I'm like, really,
I told you all week, Hey, you better pack, you
better pack, you better pack, you better pack. Didn't she pack?

Speaker 1 (24:48):
No?

Speaker 2 (24:49):
And I was like, you do what you want to do.
She was like, well, okay, if you don't want me
to go, you know, and you're not gonna be mad.
And I said, you do what you want to do.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
Okay. This sounds that sounds like a therapist needed to
hear that.

Speaker 2 (25:04):
So then she goes, Okay, I'll go put some I'll
go change into shorts, I'll go to the driving range.
So we went to the driving range. She didn't hit
any balls, but she did watch and the kids are
just whacking, whacking, whacking. I maybe hit ten balls because
you don't have time to hit balls because the kids
just come over and they hit them so fast. They
just take your balls.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
I was gonna say, backswing's got to be an issue.

Speaker 2 (25:27):
Oh, trust me. I had to yell at them about
three times about walking behind golfers when they're swinging doing this.

Speaker 1 (25:33):
Because Baser doesn't know that when you do the golf cart,
you can't park right next to the ball. I'm like, Besil,
you gotta park ten feet away because when people do
their swing in theory, it's going to cover about five
feet in every direction. So it took her a while.
She would park the golf cart right next to the ball.
When we'd play golf together.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
Yeah, and baby Box had his lucky club and he
was hitting. He hit one, hit the ball. There goes
the head of the club out onto the driving range.
Snapped it.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
I want a family outing.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
Yeah, it was it was cheap clubs that we got
a good Will but yeah, snap the head off, there
goes and everybody said, oh, we'll stop so he can
go grab it. I'm like, dude, I ain't gonna fix it.
I gets a goner.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
Oh was it KB toys er is a legit callaway
or something?

Speaker 2 (26:13):
I was a legit like golf club. But we got
him at Goodwill. I don't know. But it snapped and
I'm not gonna go And oh, can we get a
new shaft for this club? I mean it was a
fifty cent club. Yeah. So I was like, no, just
let it, let it lie, let it rest in peace. Uh.
So then we go to the playground that's right there.
And we went to the playground for a little bit,
and then we went home. Then my baby Box three

(26:35):
had a birthday party to go to yours? No, so
my wife and him went to a birthday party for
two hours.

Speaker 1 (26:41):
What about yours?

Speaker 2 (26:43):
So then the neighbor, one of the neighbors like, hey,
come over tonight. We'll do the margarita machine and we'll
cook gumbo and we have a you know, a party
over here.

Speaker 1 (26:51):
Was he trying to get you drunk?

Speaker 2 (26:53):
Well? No, I was just like neighbors, like two different families,
my family and then two other families. Right, all right, dude,
I love gumbo. That's like my favorite, like men. And
so we went over there. My wife came over after
the birthday party, and we get out, We eat the gumbo,
we have Margarita's, we had pineapple and mango the lish
and then my wife's all right, let's sing happy birthday,

(27:15):
Happy birthday to you. She busts out the cake and
it's like a cake. I like cheesecake, and she got
some other cake that she likes, and she's like, well,
I didn't get cheesecake because I knew we were coming
over here, and I didn't think anybody else liked cheesecake.
I think you're the only one that likes cheesecake. I'm like,
so on my birthday, you got me a cake that

(27:37):
you like, and you're worried about what other people like
on my birthday. Whatever.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
I want red velvet cake, now I want cheesecake. You're
like my dad, he wants red velvet and nobody eats
red velvet cake.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
Dad, all I wanted was cheesecake, So I didn't get cheesecake.

Speaker 1 (27:54):
The kids like cheesecake, No, Okay, then you're not getting cheesecake. Correct,
we got me a cheesecake, but I mean cookie cake,
ice cream cake. They make different variations. You could have
gone cookie cakes. This is gonna be listen. This isn't
New York City nineteen seventy, Sonny. You're like a little
cheesecake and what about an ice cream cone?

Speaker 2 (28:15):
And so I'm like fine, whatever, We eat the cake,
hang out for a little bit longer. Then we got
to go home. He put the kids to bed. She's like,
all right, now I got a pack for my trip.

Speaker 1 (28:25):
You feeling a little wobbly after the mango?

Speaker 2 (28:27):
Oh no, no, not wobbly at all, feeling good.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
It was non alcoholic.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
It was alcoholic. Oh but we had gumbo. I had
so much gumbo, and then we had cake.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
You just fake drink?

Speaker 2 (28:40):
What do you mean fake drink?

Speaker 1 (28:41):
Were you just like fake like you're drinking? No?

Speaker 2 (28:43):
No, no, we had margaritas. They had the margarita machine
there and they made them right there. Anyway, So then
we go home and I'm like, all right, you know
what I mean, trying to get some whoopie, and my
wife's like, I got a pack. I'm like, man, so
not even on my birthday. Huh wow, she packed this
trap on and so I mean I went to bed

(29:03):
like eleven, and she was packing, and I fell asleep
for like forty minutes, and I woke up forty minutes
later her damn bam, moving stuff around the room, throwing
the suitcase around like good God Almighty, like this is
my birthday, Like I asked you to pack a week ago,

(29:23):
so here you are. So she was up till twelve
forty five am packing.

Speaker 1 (29:28):
I mean, is your wife me?

Speaker 2 (29:30):
I packed before I come to work, And Baser's like,
could you please just be somewhat quiet because I save
it until the morning exactly, just be somewhat quiet. I
don't care that you left it to the last minute,
but be freaking quiet. So she was packed at twelve
forty twelve forty am. That is exactly what I packed.
When me and Scuba went on our trip to Chicago
in Vegas, Vegas, it was infuriating. I was like, and

(29:54):
so once you wake up after getting thirty five forty
minutes asleep, can't go back to sleep. So I'm and
turning for the next hour until she finally turns the
lights out. When was her flight two am eight am.

Speaker 1 (30:07):
Yeah, early flight.

Speaker 2 (30:08):
So then she but she went back to bed. Oh
she went to bed, okay at twelve forty five.

Speaker 1 (30:13):
But she's not gonna pack while you're doing the mango madness.
I understand that.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
But when I said pack on Wednesday because we have
a busy weekend, it's, you know.

Speaker 1 (30:21):
Like nobody's packing unless you're Alex are all four days
ahead of time.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
She's the one that always yells at me about packing early.
I never pack early, but I know how she is,
and she leaves everything to the last minute. I'm like,
just pack, but I couldn't even sleep because she's doing
all this crap in the room and I'm like, oh,
but she got the lights on, you know what I mean? Like,
it's just oh bed and clayg shuit.

Speaker 1 (30:42):
So you want that or you want Bazer who if
we're going on a trip the cruise, say it's in March,
Basil will start packing for the cruise in mid February.
What do you think about a hula skirt and a
cowgirl hat and bikini's sitting on the couch for two
weeks because she packs two weeks early.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
Okay, that might be a little extreme. I think I'd
rather have the last minute pack baser.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
Why is my Hawaiian shirt on the couch?

Speaker 2 (31:06):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (31:06):
I started packing for the cruise that's next month. Yeah,
every time.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
Yeah, and so yeah, that's it. That was my birthday.
And then she woke up at like I don't know
what time and good night bye, I have a safe trip,
and that was it and she was out the door.
But that was my birthday weekend.

Speaker 1 (31:26):
That was it.

Speaker 2 (31:27):
That was what I did.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
Quite the timeline.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
Yeah, and then on Sunday. Man, I'll tell you all
about that later. But I got to hear about Justin.
We'll talk we'll talk about it right after this.

Speaker 1 (31:39):
Yeah, not a lot with this one. And also, I
don't think our listeners love hearing about Justin too much.
He's he's gone down in popularity. I'm kidding if you
heard that. Justin totally kidd man, But uh, talk to him.
He actually called us at eight am on Saturday, eight am,
very early. He knows us.

Speaker 2 (31:56):
Oh, yeah, you guys are up. I don't knowize he'd
be up that early.

Speaker 1 (31:59):
Yeah, he started. It was with his brothers and I'd
never talked to his brothers before.

Speaker 2 (32:03):
They talked just like him.

Speaker 1 (32:05):
No, they're more bilingual. I mean I think they speak
Spanish a little bit. Oh yeah, so I think maybe
they're step brothers or maybe on one side of his family. Yeah,
it was at times broken English. Oh and but his
brothers apparently never even heard about me. They're like, oh,
I like this guy. I go, what are you guys
drinking on up there? Bush Apple? And the guy goes, ah,

(32:27):
I like this guy. And I'm like, I've been Justin's
friend for like seven years. What do you mean you
like this guy?

Speaker 2 (32:33):
And we text every day, like his dog's buried in
my yard.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
And he goes, I like this guy.

Speaker 2 (32:39):
I mean Justin's never mentioned you. No, that's weird.

Speaker 1 (32:42):
But Justin had been drinking already. Ah, And so I
guess the mid conversation I tried to reframe it all
that we called him. I was like, all right, man,
well I hope you have a good birthday, and he goes,
but I called you. You didn't call me to wish
me a birthday. And so then we go ha haha,
oh what are you gonna do?

Speaker 2 (33:00):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (33:00):
This that the other all right, man, well hope you
have a good birthday, and he goes, I called you.
You didn't call me to wish me a birthday, and
multiple times I would say, well, just wanted to wish
you a happy birthday. Because he was drinking. The conversation
wasn't ending, but it sounds like the no casino was involved,
I guess. I asked him. I was like, are you

(33:22):
guys getting in any brown and they said no, until
the sun goes down, we don't touch the brown.

Speaker 2 (33:27):
Oh smart, that's good. That's good rule to live by.

Speaker 1 (33:31):
And we were talking about the accident heard around the
world with the unicycle yep. But other than that, shocked
that they didn't know about me, Shocked that they're maybe
their step brothers. They just and I don't know if
Justin was kidding. He said, my brothers are from Guatemala. What.

(33:55):
I was so confused in that conversation, and then I
would make.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
Here's two dudes he met at a bar.

Speaker 1 (34:01):
No, he has brothers, he has a I think he
has a siblings, like eight of them, And I go, hey,
I've seen you guys sometimes at the Boston Red Sox
games with Justin and they acted like they didn't know
what I was talking about. Because of social media, he's
posted pictures of him before. But anyways, all that to say,
I was like, all right, man, well just want to

(34:23):
call you. I hope you had a good birthday. What
do you mean I called you? You didn't call me?
And I said, but the point of the conversation is
still the same. We wanted to wish you a happy birthday,
regardless of who called who. But it sounded like they
were gonna polish off a dirty thirty of Coor's Light.
And his brother said, I go, oh, the bush latte

(34:44):
apples and they said no, Justin doesn't care about it.
And I said, oh, what about ultras? And they said no,
he doesn't drink those anymore. He doesn't care about his figure.
Justin now drinks Coors Lights.

Speaker 2 (34:54):
Wow, Justin let himself go. Have you seen a picture
you FaceTime him lately?

Speaker 1 (34:59):
To make sure? Not even that it's said he's changed.
He no longer drinks our favorite beer, micklob Ultra. Oh,
all of a sudden, he's moved to Michigan. He drinks
brown when the sun goes down, and he drinks Cool's Light.

Speaker 2 (35:12):
Gotcha, So what you're saying is he started drinking beer
when he moved to Michigan.

Speaker 1 (35:15):
He did beer here.

Speaker 2 (35:16):
But it was always me Beazer and justin all love
michlob ultra Right. So what you're saying is he started
drinking beer when he moved to Michigan.

Speaker 1 (35:24):
Oh gotcha, But I don't. I haven't talked to him since,
so I'm assuming. I'm assuming two day hangover, I'm assuming
dark place. So let's give him a little bit more
space before we check in. After the birthday.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
Yeah, Sunday, you know what we did. Sunday after my birthday,
I called you. We woke up, we went fishing. The
neighbor of the night before was like, hey, we're gonna
go fishing the morning. You guys want to go fishing.
I was like, yeah, the boys will want to go fishing.

Speaker 1 (35:55):
Brutal.

Speaker 2 (35:56):
So we dug in their yard for worms. You gotta shovel, like, yeah,
we didn't go to the store and buy worms. We
just dug them. And I don't know where they get
the ones from the store because the ones we got
in the yard were so thin that they were hard
to put on the hooks.

Speaker 1 (36:12):
Those are called termites. And also did the neighbors think
you were digging up spot for a dead body?

Speaker 2 (36:17):
Yeah, it was a little early in the morning, be
digging in the yard. But yeah, we were out there
digging and we got some worms and we went, oh,
I just thought of the funniest thing. I said, what
the conversation with justin the whole point of it was,
it was just him and his brothers.

Speaker 1 (36:32):
There's no chicks.

Speaker 2 (36:34):
I go, well, you're gonna need to find some zip
ties and some duct tape if you're gonna get any
chicks over there. His brothers go, you're funny. I like
this guy baser in the background. That's not funny with
all this stuff happening nowadays, that's not funny to joke
about kidnapping too far, Ray, too far, That really does happen.
That does happen. Ray, You shouldn't say that.

Speaker 1 (36:55):
It sounded like a straight sausage fast over.

Speaker 2 (36:59):
To you, thirty dude. So we go fishing into this
a little pond, right, and we got like nine kids there,
and I mean they are casting there catching each other.
I mean, one girl caught her shirt twice. One boy
caught one of the moms in the head, like in
the hair. I mean, it was such a disaster. And

(37:20):
we were catching I mean, we caught the smallest fish
I've ever seen in my life. They were like this big,
like I mean not even but three centimeters some of them.

Speaker 1 (37:29):
They must just ran into the hook depending that part
of the country. Three centimeters is big.

Speaker 2 (37:34):
That's true. And then after that we went we went
and got lunch. Then we went home and I was like, boys,
let's go to the pool. So we went to the
pool for like two hours, and I think my kids
had had enough. I'd warn them out for the weekend
because Baby Box two goes, Dad, can we go home?
I'm tired. That's music to my ears, and I'm like, what, Chad,

(37:56):
and I am tired. So we went home and watched
Toy Story three. Then we had dinner and we had
ice cream, and they were in bed at seven o'clock.

Speaker 1 (38:07):
Man, did you guys watch The Odyssey?

Speaker 2 (38:10):
No, we missed The Odyssey. Have not got to the
movie theater just see that one yet. Haven't heard anything
about any good.

Speaker 1 (38:15):
Because I'm apparently everybody's watched it besides me and SpongeBob
SquarePants and me.

Speaker 2 (38:20):
I mean, it's all the rage is the Odyssey and
I have not seen I've seen a preview and I
know Matt Damon is in it. And that's all I know.

Speaker 1 (38:28):
Anytime I want to see I don't know, a lion
turn into a ram and bang a goat, then I'll
go see it.

Speaker 2 (38:36):
Yeah, I didn't think it was age appropriate for my
four year old, eight and six year old. We were
definitely gonna go, but the four year old didn't want
to go.

Speaker 1 (38:44):
Anytime the kids are unmotivated, you usually see that after
they start drinking in college. But when they start to
exhibit that laziness at a young age, that's blessing to
you right there. You get to relax.

Speaker 2 (38:57):
Yeah, and so Toy Story three they were worn out out. Uh,
and they went to bed pretty freaking easily.

Speaker 1 (39:03):
But did that one just come out? Toy Story three?

Speaker 2 (39:06):
No, Toy Story five is out, but we haven't seen
three or four, so we got to watch those before
we get hit the movie theater.

Speaker 1 (39:12):
I was like, what a random movie to reach for.

Speaker 2 (39:15):
No, No, we just talked about it. Oh, we gotta
go see Toy Story five and I'm like, well, have
you seen all of them? They're like, we've seen one
and two and I'm like, well, then we're not gonna
know what's going on.

Speaker 1 (39:23):
Excuse me. It was saying this, please don't take it offensive.
But sometimes I assume that kids are just slow. So
I was thinking that you could just posit, proposition it
as a new movie. Would they really know? They don't
really know.

Speaker 2 (39:36):
They don't care.

Speaker 1 (39:37):
Beauty. What a crazy life to live in.

Speaker 2 (39:39):
But I will say that Baby Box three, the four
year old, he got pissed at the end of the movie.

Speaker 1 (39:47):
Oh Woodie, yeah with the lady.

Speaker 2 (39:49):
He said, Dad, Dad, where is the tablet? When I
saw it on the TV, it had a tablet. The
movie didn't have a tablet. Why is there no tablet?
I said, Bud, we watched three. You saw the preview
for five?

Speaker 1 (40:06):
Who goes?

Speaker 2 (40:08):
Oh okay, I thought you showed me the wrong movie.

Speaker 1 (40:13):
Man. Sorry, man, you guys are solving some problems over there.

Speaker 2 (40:17):
Yeah, so that was my weekend man. And Lebron James
after we made fun of him, he signed with the
seventy six ers on Friday. So happy birthday to me
and Lebron James signed to celebrate my birthday. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (40:26):
We named the Pelicans, we named the heat we named
the Cleveland Cabs. I said, what's a random team we
could sign with? And I went with Pelicans. I should
have said seventy six ers.

Speaker 2 (40:36):
They might be good. I mean, Lebron James is your
number three or four option. It's pretty dangn good. Edgecomb,
is that the guy that to Maxie? Yeah, if Embiid
can get unhurt, screw Embiid. But I love Maxie and Edgecomb.
What I saw when I was doing player efficiency at Baylor.
He was off the charts in March Madness. Didn't really
see him in the league yet. Yeah, but he was

(40:57):
from Ben to me. And remember the guy from Been
to me was all about him. He's like, dude, that's
our boy, Edgecombe.

Speaker 1 (41:02):
Don't remind me Scuba to talk saying because the guy
said the island was known for VJ. Edgecomb, and Scuba
said he was going to bring his son there to
play with that guy's son because they both had in
common that they knew who VJ. Edgecomb was. Please tell me, Scuba,
if you have made any communication with that guy on
his burner phone who sold us the conch or it's

(41:23):
also called conk And if your kids have made any
plans to hang out in the island of Bimini. Scuba.
I had to listen to that for two hours about
his kids are going to hang out with his Islanders
kids in Bemeny over their shared interest of the NBA
and VJ edgecomb.

Speaker 2 (41:40):
Oh you guys, have a great monday. Man, I gotta
go pick on my sister at the airport. And that's it. Man.
I am forty five now I am old, and yeah,

Speaker 1 (41:50):
Have a good monday.

Speaker 2 (41:51):
We're out ray.

Speaker 1 (41:53):
Not a good look for us aging like that.

Speaker 2 (41:56):
It's it's wild, dude, it's wild. I mean I didn't
take one. That's good.

(42:22):
Just forward it over. Angeline has been all over the
Wulfy coast and Justin's putting down thirty bush lattes with
his brothers.

Speaker 2 (42:34):
Yeah, I think he picked the wrong route. Should have
gone with her. Yeah. Yeah, that's sad, but my wife
got packed. I'm glad she got packed.

Speaker 1 (42:45):
Yeah yeah, Ray, that'd be a good business, a packing service.

Speaker 2 (42:50):
Oh my god. We'll pack your clothes for you, but
we don't know what they would want to take on
that vacation. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (42:57):
