the Oh you said not the video. I just spent
thank you goodness?

Speaker 1 (00:43):
And what is our gimmick?

Speaker 6 (00:44):
We always act like we don't know it's recording, So
then the fact that you were affected by a recording
doesn't make any sense to our gimmick.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
No, No, I wanted it to be. I was upset it
wasn't recording because I was saying we needed that. That's
good stuff.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Ray looking around, boy is their talent?

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Ray?

Speaker 4 (01:00):
And I'm not talking on the field, No, not really
seeing any hotties in the stands. Yet I did see
some of the as I was walking from the parking lot,
and I did see Ray not be able to find
the parking lot, Ray freaking.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Out about the parking lot.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
I saw Ray get stopped by security at the front
desk or a not the front desk, the entrance, and
the guy's like, uh, your ticket, and Ray like had
a panic, looked like I'm.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Not gonna be able to get in.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
He grabbed my arm.

Speaker 7 (01:27):
He did grab your arm.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
He said, you can't go in. I said I don't
have a ticket, and then I yelled mor again. But
he came over and got me in.

Speaker 7 (01:34):
All she had.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
All you had to do was show him the lanyard that
was around your neck and.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
No, but his boss said he has a lanyard.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
He's good.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
So then I was at lanyard access.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
Got it and they have started. Oh look to nay heyes,
just rubbing her hand in the dirt. Yeah, she's got
a cannon.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Are we gonna intro the show?

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Or yeah we should go?

Speaker 1 (01:56):
All right? What up, yacht, We're gonna do it live?

Speaker 2 (01:59):

I'm pretty much a sports genius, y'all.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
It is Sisson. I'm from the North. I'm in Alpha Male.

Speaker 6 (02:18):
I live on the North Side in Nashville with Baser,
my wife.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
We got two point three acres. We've got two kids
at Vandy.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
And uh pop coming out here to right field? Who
is that over to you? Coach? He you know who
that is?

Speaker 9 (02:30):
We?

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Hey, we can't play the do you know? Game? Because
we're gonna be playing it all.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Hey, Morgan, who's playing right field? Who's that is that for?
Still a block?

Speaker 7 (02:39):
No, don't know?

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 6 (02:44):
All right, dude, have you never played the game? When
you go to a party, you just act like you
know everybody.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
No, I was gonna yell their name, idiot.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
I was gonna yell at them, see if they want
to come give us a word, why they're playing the outfield.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Whatever? No, No, I think just on the people to
come over.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
I think the video should be interviews only. Chus.

Speaker 6 (03:04):
When you enter a college party, you just act like
you're cool. You know everybody?

Speaker 2 (03:08):
What's up? Starting quarterback?

Speaker 1 (03:10):
What's up? Short stop? The first thing you say is, hey,
who are you?

Speaker 2 (03:17):
We're cool.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
He's a lot of our friends. They're all famous, we're
all they're military represents America. We're American.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
I understand. We're here for Bulldonner and Zach tops Up.
Hey you by scoop back. He's been a hitting over
your head head. I haven't seen you in a minute.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Get back, Get.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Back, guys. That's how you play it, right, Jack, Tom's
going to the wall. She's she's actually listening to you.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
I'm telling you. Zach top can hit guys. I played
with him last year before I got cut. Oh, we
actually might be in the lake watch and he can
mash but Riley Green. He pitches weird. He throws some
funky spin on it, and it's so hard to wait
on it.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
See he has that spin.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Oh I hit him.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
Oh we faked the fake charge of mount And that's
the oldest, dumbest thing in the world.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
You gotta do it though, for the kids. YEA love it.

Speaker 6 (04:05):
And it's like that as a dad. You gotta get
the popcorn, you gotta.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
Get the lemonade.

Speaker 6 (04:09):
There's those usual things you have to do in a
baseball game.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Yeah, Oh there it is. Oh, oh he's out. I
told you scoot up. Why are you so far back? Roger?

Speaker 1 (04:27):
I hate the rocket?

Speaker 7 (04:30):
The rocket.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Please, guys, I don't know if you can hear me,
but please tell me.

Speaker 6 (04:34):
The music doesn't pick up on the podcast and we
can't post any of this.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Oh, Roger, that was so bad, dude, that was so bad.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Guys, we can't come here to see the rocket.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
He fouls out the first that was That was like
the worst swing of ever. So go rocket ever got Roger?
Take him, baby, Baby.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
You're a legend. Rocket. Oh that's in there.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
He ain't catching that. Oh my gosh?

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Who is out? And left?

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Is that? Eric Deech No, act like you know, idiot,
don't say who is it? I don't know.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
That's because they're so far away. Your person was five
feet from you and you who are you?

Speaker 4 (05:13):
You know what's funny is these people have no idea
what is going on, and they're never gonna know.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
But here we go.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Jake Culler, color, guys, I learned paton left.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
I learned three.

Speaker 6 (05:23):
Uh three softball games ago. You don't ask Jake Cauler
how prezent cattle area is.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
That's that's not good. I did, oh by you. I
told her he's going the whole way. He's going all
the way. He's not even trying.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Coddler mighty.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Oh yeah, he got a home run. Coddler with a homer. Yeah,
too bad. He couldn't do that when he was Bear's quarterback.

Speaker 8 (05:49):
Man, you're back.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
That was really a single to write. And then a
three base error.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Three base error.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
Hey, Chris Lane, he comes to play, man, he can
hit it far. They're too they're too closing outfield.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
The one thing we said that people aren't gonna want
to listen to play by play, and that's all you
almost have to.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Here's funny.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
If you're in left field, there's no damn way you
can see that ball.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
The sun is so bright. Oh that's us, that's us.
She ain't gonna catch it.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
I told you, Oh dude, we should almost get in
right field.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
There's another home run.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
I mean, she's got I'm a r.

Speaker 6 (06:33):
Don't way way she gets it over here close enough,
I'm launching it.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
I thought, hope tonight you got him got home. The
better hope that's today. I know who?

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Well, then who is this random and right field?

Speaker 4 (06:48):
And I don't know she probably paid money in the
charity auction to get to play in the game, and
the ball has been hitting her twice. What you do
is you pay to pay me in the charity auction
and you don't want the ball to come to you.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
There's no way they give a charity spot.

Speaker 7 (07:02):
It's everything.

Speaker 4 (07:02):
Okay, Oh that's even better. I bring whoever, Yeah, bring Roger,
bring anybody, bring my mom, it doesn't matter. Oh oh.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Yeah. I don't know if it's fun when I was
doing play by player or not, but it's great.

Speaker 6 (07:23):
And if none of you guys got my joke when
I said they're rockets, I was referring to the rocket
guys trucks probably got that.

Speaker 4 (07:32):
Let's see if Rogers going out in the field and
he's not going in the field, he's got time to
come down here chat.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
I'll tell you what.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Do we got a black rifle water?

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Because these things.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Are military great. They've been on two tours of Iraq.
I mean yeah, they've served our country very well, protect
our freedom.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
He says, is this our boy, Parker Frecker, Joe Barker.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Let me get that gold shine, Give me that gold shine.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
He can't see that.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
Look Roger Clemens is not in the field, he should
be over here come.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Doing that interview?

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Park So it only makes sense that.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
Quick question here the fans. What's side Jock drop?

Speaker 2 (08:21):
I want to catch Oh my gosh.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
Guys, I tell you what I think. Parker mccollin's been
hitting the beach in Lake days.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
Bro as a hero has not been working an office job.

Speaker 5 (08:34):
Has Broke got a better chance than me?

Speaker 2 (08:36):
Hey, Parker, how have you been at the beach?

Speaker 1 (08:37):
Man?

Speaker 2 (08:38):
Hey?

Speaker 1 (08:39):
You know the beach with Arnold Nabby.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
Exclusive? Why did Roger coming down here? Ain't in the field?

Speaker 6 (08:48):
Come on, all right, guys, I don't bet anymore, but
I'm gonna go ahead.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
And what are the odds on Roger coming over here?

Speaker 6 (08:53):
Because whatever they are, I'm putting a thousand dollars on
him not coming over here.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
So why would he not?

Speaker 6 (08:59):
Ava Roger Rocket Clemens do an interview with Choot him Mokes.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
No, but I know Roger I met him before. Man, Oh,
here's your first interview. No, they're going to the outfield.
Oh they're pulling somebody a random chick.

Speaker 4 (09:12):
Oh wow, hey, Parker goes sit out on.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
You're getting bitch, Parker got man military they're all number thirteen. Yeah,
because it was a military.

Speaker 4 (09:24):
Oh, Roger's playing catcher Man therebne off first Bonder.

Speaker 6 (09:30):
Oh it sucks, it's actually it's cook cook oh cook Yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
Actually, come over here and talk while you're playing.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Come here, go get on number thirteen.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
They're all thirteen India. Oh, Ashley's dancing.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
Shake it for the fans.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
Actually, why are you trying to selling me? Oh, there's
a base hit. Oh Laane dives seeing that.

Speaker 6 (09:56):
Hey, dude, that's the kind of stuff that hurts because
you know, Chris Lane really had come out here to
try and make a diving play and then he didn't.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
That's gonna hurt him tonight when he's trying to go
to bed. Hey, Ashley scoop back, Ashley.

Speaker 10 (10:09):
Ashley scoop back, it's gonna go over your head.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
Ashley scoop back, It's gonna go over your head. Wow. Wow,
Oh I told you.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
I told you Parker it did. But Parker's Parker's launching
a second home.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Rogers like, I ain't catching that crap. He didn't even
try for it, dude.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
Hey, you gotta appreciate a business decision.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
Rogers like, hey, now they're doing.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
A fake fight again. I don't like that.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
Sue Bake fights in in one inning. Did you see Rogers?

Speaker 1 (10:42):
Is our first interview with the mascot.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
You're gonna say, is he a bier, older cross or skateboarder?
Is surfer? Yeah? Hey, oh my gosh, this is awesome.
I got it.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
Travis was my love.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
How you doing? Good to see? Nice of meeting you.

Speaker 5 (11:02):
I feel like we're in the danger zone right here.
But oh man, that was that was disappointing. We just
we went to a tie game real early with no outside.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
That's pretty rough.

Speaker 7 (11:10):
Are you a big ball fan or are you just no?

Speaker 5 (11:12):
It is the first time ever put a glove on,
never had one on. I got a fuse risks. I
went a totally different direction. Well, all the sports you
play anything with wheels, a motor or speed?

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Okay, what's your what's your favorite? You're preferred?

Speaker 5 (11:25):
I always dirt bikes round cars. I've got a little
bit of everything.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
How about dirt bikes through the casino?

Speaker 5 (11:31):
That was pretty fun.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Did you see that last week in Vega? He's going
through the casino. People were playing black jack.

Speaker 5 (11:36):
Dude, there was a lady didn't even look up, was
just like annoyed that that oh shoot, is that us?

Speaker 7 (11:40):
That's Rody Green?

Speaker 2 (11:43):
So I got a how did you convince your parents?
And it's okay to just be a nut at a
young age.

Speaker 5 (11:48):
So ironically, my uncle Allan was quarterbacks for Denver Broncos
in sixty nine and seventy and he said, uh, he
got knocked out by hot tower from police academy and
said football is too dangerous. Do something else. So I
took up motorcyde realized I was extremely durable in action
sports were kind of.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
My callum, what city are you in? Where are you at?

Speaker 5 (12:05):
Anabolis, Maryland? Okay, no, no, no, it wouldn't make sense with
the motor spots.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
So as you've gotten older, has.

Speaker 4 (12:12):
Your need for like excitement that has it kind of
calmed at all?

Speaker 1 (12:16):
He's addicted.

Speaker 5 (12:16):
Man, oh there we go. We got hey, we got
two houses. We got two houses.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
We're doing play. You gotta love it.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
That's thee that.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
Knows how to do an interview.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
But my course is, like, have you called like the
need of the thrill? Because you've done the most amazing crap.

Speaker 5 (12:30):
You know, at the end of the day, I've had
a lot of fun living the dream for what I
what I do, and the rister reward is always changing. Right,
I've got a wife, the two kids now, but my wife,
she's three time X gam school medalists. Like I feel
like I'm the you know, everyone's like, oh, does your
wife not like the kids to do that. I'm like, no,
I have to be the one that's like, hey, maybe
that's a.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
Little stage meaning towards that the kids are No.

Speaker 5 (12:49):
See, I threw my kids in the air flipping and spinning,
and I didn't realize that I was training them out
to be cheerleaders. So I definitely took a hard left
on that one.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
But uh, I.

Speaker 5 (12:56):
Got two girls and they're both competitive cheer one does volleyball,
so been liking the volleyball, trying to encourage a little more.
You know, the sports that a dad can can go
that cheers awesome, It's so.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Cool, right, what going to cheer? I mean, let's be real.
I mean, you see cheer on CV and.

Speaker 5 (13:12):
I'm like, it's just it's tough for me as a
father to they hang out with their friends all day long.
It's ninety percent cheer moms. There's a lot of drama.
It's very different than what I'm using the show on
a positive note. It's the one place on earth that
I can walk through that not one person knows who
I am, so I think that's why the girls like
it as well.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Where do you get recognized? Some mothers like, what are
you most known for?

Speaker 4 (13:35):
When people come to you, they say, Travis, I can't
believe you did Sturgis Sturgis.

Speaker 5 (13:42):
I might be up for batting. I should probably go check.
I got Ross chastain Is. He's got my list going
on there. But I'll keep until they call me. I'll
just stay over here. But so what I'm most known for,
probably the double backflip, is something that you know, there's
a lot of moments in your life that feel really important,
but there's that one moment for me that everybody, whether

(14:03):
they're a veteran or what everyone remembers where they were
when they watched it live. It's something that was huge.
It was one of the first years that X Games
was live on ESPN, it was live on ABC, was
live for all the you know, the veteran community overseas,
and for me, that's that's a really cool moment to
be able to not sure if you're gonna make it
and to ride it out.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
If you're a kid right now thinking about getting on
a bike that has a.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
Motor on it, you think there's a future or.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
Was it just big back in the day.

Speaker 5 (14:29):
Motocross getting bigger and bigger every year. Freestyle it goes
to waves man And I tell you what, if you're
passionate about what you do, you'll figure out a way
to make it work. And I was very fortunate we
had guys like Ken Block, you know, building up the sport.
We had a great timing with you know. Now it
doesn't matter where you're from, if you're with social media,
if you're good at what you do, you can get sponsorship,

(14:51):
you can get known, you can get on Nitro Circus
Tour or X Games or whatever. But yeah, definitely X
Games was bigger early two thousands than it is now.
But there's still guys like Ryan Williams that are pushing
the limits and that are making really good livings on
you know, and now you can go to the Olympics,
you can represent America or whatever country you're from. You
can go out there and you can represent your country
on skateboards and bicycles.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
It's cool.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
How often are you riding, like did you ride today?

Speaker 2 (15:15):
No, did you ride to the ballpark?

Speaker 7 (15:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (15:18):
I rode on an airplane and actually, cause I got
to do a couple of podcasts in town. So Nashville
is pretty pretty cool area.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
Who is the coolest celebrity that's come up and be like, dude,
I'm a huge freaking fan, Like that's so amazing.

Speaker 5 (15:32):
Oh man, you know, back in the day, I don't
know coolest celebrity, but Vanilla Ice came up to me.
I was like, dude, so good to meet you. And
I was sixteen.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
I was like.

Speaker 5 (15:46):
That's pretty I mean, you know, just like five years
before you're singing Ice Ice Baby going, you know.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
And how hard is it to be famous young?

Speaker 7 (15:53):
Like? Was it just so difficult?

Speaker 2 (15:56):
Dude?

Speaker 5 (15:56):
Is for if you're four, right, you want to be
a firefighter an astronaut. I want to be a motor
or football or whatever it was. Yeah, I want to
be a motocrossing. My reality just never set in. You know,
most people that get hurt the first time, you're like, ooh,
I don't want to do it, or they they don't
get the championships, they don't win with it, and they're like,
oh I gotta get a real job. I'm forty two
and I'm still living the American dream and being able

(16:18):
to come out here and support you know, polls of
honor and veterans and gold Star families, and thank all
of these, oh Scott out again, but thank all of
these humans for allowing us to go live the American dream.
And it is such an honor.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
We we appreciate you playing in this, dude. Thanks you're doing
the interview. You appreciate you stopping by.

Speaker 4 (16:40):
Man, We don't want to, you know, keep you from
the game, but if you want to keep talking, if
you want.

Speaker 5 (16:43):
To know, I figure they're gonna play me at some point.
But being houses first to ever put a glove on,
it might be. I'm pretty broken too. I can't run,
I can't hit, I can't catch.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
What's your prediction on your hit?

Speaker 8 (16:53):
Though?

Speaker 2 (16:53):
You think he'll least get it to the grass?

Speaker 6 (16:56):
You have to, dude, You've got some meat on your bones.
There's no way you don't at least get it.

Speaker 5 (16:59):
In to the g I've golfed before, so like I can
hit a small ball with a long club, it should
be fine. You starting to golf a little bit, maybe
like twice a year.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
Okay, it's not bad. You can play a nice courses
because you're freaking famous.

Speaker 5 (17:12):
I get to play a nicer courses than I should
ever be able to play. But I just like to
drive the golf cars. To be perfectly honest, that's probably
not ideal.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
I gotta go.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
I gotta were it up my rights, Travis Pastrana, y'all,
we didn't even introduce them at the beginning, did we?
I did, I said, Travis Pastran Oh you didn't.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
I didn't hear you. We should take a break, man,
We'll take a break and we'll come right back.

Speaker 1 (17:39):
I already told Weirdo. I already told him that.

Speaker 4 (17:42):
Oh well, all right, we're gonna put it up and
if we get showing in trouble, exactly, I'm just gonna
do it and.

Speaker 2 (17:48):
Hope no one says anything. That's pretty much. We can
just use the videos.

Speaker 7 (17:51):
No, we're using this podcast.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
All right, guys, what well did you start over?

Speaker 7 (17:59):
You're still listen here.

Speaker 6 (18:00):
Here's what I'm learning about Arnold is he gets yelled
at a lot by Abby. Because Abby, as the sound girl,
is yelling at me, scolding me, spanking me.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
Yeah, what are you gonna do bare bottom spank me?
Can you tell them to turn down the music? It's
a little loud. I don't know if they can hear
our podcast.

Speaker 4 (18:16):
Yeah, I still can restrawa turn down Lady Gaga, you know.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
Yeah, they turn it down down like this is when
you want it playing? Guys, and.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
What about mine?

Speaker 2 (18:29):
Here? Give me.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
Nobody panic, nobody panic.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
I'll put it down.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
Nobody panic?

Speaker 2 (18:39):
There is that better?

Speaker 7 (18:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (18:40):
Yeah, we're better.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
Turn it the button down?

Speaker 2 (18:45):
So maybe I need to down the stadium.

Speaker 8 (18:50):
Sorry?

Speaker 2 (18:51):
Can we get Rogers going to first base? Roger? Roger?

Speaker 4 (18:55):
Roger, you're the next center of your Roger Roger Wade.

Speaker 2 (18:59):
You met dude, he's a big boy.

Speaker 1 (19:04):
Roger. Your contractually obligated interview?

Speaker 2 (19:07):
Yep, your team fourteen? Oh who's our next interviews? That
is that Parker?

Speaker 1 (19:17):
We don't want Parker.

Speaker 2 (19:19):
I'm just kidding. I Parker, Parker, Parker, Come here, Parker.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
All we're doing is chirping people, Hey, what's up?

Speaker 2 (19:31):
Come here? What do you need? What do you need?
What is your name? Hannah? Where are you from? Oh?

Speaker 4 (19:41):
Wow, Hannah from Dixon, Tennessee is yelling at me. So
I gotta go over there, right you're gonna.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
Have to fill a buster for a minute play by player.

Speaker 7 (19:47):
I'll do this.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
Listen.

Speaker 6 (19:48):
This isn't a plug for these apartments across the street,
but if you pay for that, you have got rhyme
real estate to watch this game.

Speaker 1 (19:55):
You got people on the patios.

Speaker 6 (19:56):
I see a guy drinking a long neck, his chicks
drinking a margarita. You got people on the very top deck,
So that looks like almost a pool area. But I'm
not thinking that they have that. It's basically just outdoor seating.
These apartment complexes across from his baseball stadium. And when
I say across from it, I mean they're the they're
the grass porch, and then there's the apartments. Actually, Cook

(20:18):
is playing right field. She's not doing an interview. He's crazy.
He doesn't know what he's talking about, but he thinks
he can just randomly talk to people when we're doing
a live podcast. What you're from, Dixon Updrove? I mean,
so our truckers do, our tractor drivers do our tug boaters.

Speaker 1 (20:38):
The fact that you guys have to listen to play
by play of a game if you don't even know
the score of or the inning or who's playing in it?

Speaker 2 (20:45):
Or what team is? What team?

Speaker 1 (20:47):
But we're doing play by play of it.

Speaker 2 (20:49):
HR is doing great here. They really enjoy it.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
Okay, he's trying to get actually cooked to do an
interview with us.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
And great coaching, great coaching. There wait up.

Speaker 6 (21:00):
Teams, random guy calling him number thirteen. Now he thinks
we're chirping it.

Speaker 4 (21:05):
He's looking at us like, what's going on? Why they
are these guys out here?

Speaker 2 (21:09):
What is it? Is this the second hitting bottom of
the second.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
I don't know, man, I got freedom isn't free? With
no squall?

Speaker 4 (21:16):
Here comes somebody who's coming. Parker McCollum, Harry, you want
me to hold the one that Hey, do you want
me to turn this one off and just give him
this one? And me and Ray switch mics.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
Yeah, just take that one out of here, this one.

Speaker 2 (21:30):
Yeah, just turn that one off.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
I'll leave this.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
Were here to share a mic. We made a Parker
breaking McCollum down number one or two?

Speaker 5 (21:38):
Try it?

Speaker 2 (21:41):
Check check check? Does this still work? It's done though?

Speaker 1 (21:44):
Yeah, there we go.

Speaker 7 (21:45):
We'll just do Parker McCollum.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
That is an audio executive decision. Guys.

Speaker 4 (21:49):
Oh it's Parker McCollum, everybody. Yeah, Audio Parker, here's your mic.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
Dude, Dude, you came to play, you brought your cleats
and everything. Did you just buy those today?

Speaker 3 (22:02):
Well, I'm sponsored by under armo or now.

Speaker 4 (22:04):
Oh, I just saw you on there doing the ship
nick comem they ain't gonna be up to date panties
or what.

Speaker 11 (22:11):
So I did panties for the first quarter of the
year and they're actually uh Ron White and I got
together and made an edible uh lingerie line.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
So it's coming out through under Armor.

Speaker 1 (22:21):
Hey, we were joking earlier, but seriously, what size yacht
strap are you wearing nowadays?

Speaker 3 (22:26):
I don't. I didn't know they came in sizes. I
thought there was just really big. I didn't know there
was sizes.

Speaker 2 (22:33):
Hey, so, what what are you expecting from yourself in
this game?

Speaker 10 (22:36):
Like?

Speaker 2 (22:36):
How serious are you taking it? I don't.

Speaker 3 (22:38):
I don't like losing nothing nothing. I don't like losing anything.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Like hitting wise, Like, are you expecting to hit us
the wall?

Speaker 3 (22:45):
I mean I just had me a little single.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
Sorry, we were distracted. We were talking, y'all, paying attention.

Speaker 3 (22:50):
Y'all ain't up today, y'all.

Speaker 11 (22:51):
I mean, come on now, no, had me a single
made a play in an outfield bag and I'm actually.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
I tried to back actually up.

Speaker 4 (22:58):
I said, you're gonna hit it over your hand, and
she didn't listen to me, and then you backed.

Speaker 11 (23:02):
Her up and made uh an absolute dart of a
throw to Zach Top. I should have gone home, uh,
but he was staying there wanting to cut it off,
so I let him.

Speaker 7 (23:10):
Hat.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
Did you see what happened when hez talk threw at home?

Speaker 3 (23:14):
I did. Let's not talk about that.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
Hey, what do you do? Do you prefer lake days
beach days? How you so tan? What is going on?
There's no way you're doing that now?

Speaker 2 (23:22):
I got two swimming pools, do it?

Speaker 3 (23:27):
Man?

Speaker 2 (23:29):
I got two swimming pools? Is that one indoor, one
out door? Just clo the house and one.

Speaker 3 (23:33):
Farther away to the house, correct the latter.

Speaker 2 (23:36):
Do you have a diving board? You got a diving board?
Got a slide?

Speaker 3 (23:38):
You got a big waterfall?

Speaker 2 (23:40):

Speaker 3 (23:41):
Did they just walk him?

Speaker 5 (23:42):

Speaker 3 (23:43):
I think I was about to say get out of here,
j D.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
Yeah, he thought he.

Speaker 1 (23:47):
Was going yard.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
He's got his batting goes, you know. Uh? So, how
often do you actually get in your swimming.

Speaker 3 (23:51):
Thron very often.

Speaker 11 (23:53):
I mean, I've got a son who's almost two, so
every day it's dead dad wah wah wants to get
into wah wah.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
Oh nice has he learned to have you? Are you
one of those pairs that throws them in the water.

Speaker 3 (24:01):
No, he ain't do that yet.

Speaker 11 (24:03):
Uh hey the uh oh, great play, golden great playday.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
You're gonna see that on Sports Center.

Speaker 6 (24:11):
Shortstop maybe third base, going back over the head catch
Willie Mason.

Speaker 11 (24:15):
Warren Zeider's wearing his girlfriend's shorts here at the Folds
of Honor softball game.

Speaker 6 (24:21):
Hey, athletes at NFL, guys, they say it takes like
four days body.

Speaker 1 (24:25):
Wise recover after a game. What about a concert.

Speaker 11 (24:27):
I literally texted my manager after the first inning. I said,
find me in ice bath tonight. I'm not playing.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
Hey, got you one? They got those all over town.

Speaker 3 (24:34):
I'm not playing. I'm telling I told.

Speaker 11 (24:36):
That's told Zach top I was like, dude, my legs
are gonna fall off. My shoulder is numb. Great play,
great play. Gotta never mind. I know if to go boys,
I don't. I just I just there's the only one
that got to hit last inning. So it's gonna be
a minute before I bet again.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
You having fun? Did you did you do any hitting
before this year?

Speaker 3 (24:54):
It's like I had swung a baseball bat, and but you.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
Know who's been swinging bats out here?

Speaker 12 (24:59):
You?

Speaker 1 (24:59):
Chris Lane is for sure.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
But yeah, I asked him.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
I was like, what some what's some me some pointers?
And he was like, just be patient.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
Who else has been taking batting practice? Hardy I'll name that.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
It didn't look like it.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
He come out here to play.

Speaker 3 (25:09):
They didn't look like it.

Speaker 2 (25:10):
Hardy comes out here to rake.

Speaker 3 (25:12):
I'm like, they look like it.

Speaker 6 (25:14):
You're a charity of that dude. It's just trying to
get a contract.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
But it's a charity of him. But you want to win.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
Parker doesn't want to lose.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
I don't like to lose score.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
I think it's too too too okay, Like.

Speaker 4 (25:24):
Who are you worried about? Like on the other team,
you look at him like, okay, that that dude can
play well.

Speaker 11 (25:29):
I mean, we got Jay Cutler on our team, one
of the strongest arms in NFL history, so I know
he can hum a softball. Uh Riley Green looks like
the All American Baseball Dad.

Speaker 3 (25:38):
And the new Balance cleats.

Speaker 11 (25:40):
Uh, Travis Pashawan is here, but I think he's seventy
five percent metal At this point.

Speaker 4 (25:45):
He said that today was the first day he's ever
put on a baseball glove.

Speaker 11 (25:48):
Yeah, well, he don't need a baseball glove, and he
ride to everybody can drive a race car like that.

Speaker 2 (25:54):
Oh is this fun?

Speaker 3 (25:57):
It's so fun. I didn't even I had no idea
that was this big a deal.

Speaker 11 (26:00):
I thought when they asked me to do it, I'm thinking,
it's like a little city park, you know, play a
couple of innings, take some pictures, do the thing.

Speaker 3 (26:07):
I was like, wait, is it the sound stadium?

Speaker 2 (26:10):
Do you bring the family to something like this?

Speaker 3 (26:12):
I've never been to this stadium, but like, I mean,
did you bring them to the game?

Speaker 7 (26:15):
Don't you know?

Speaker 11 (26:15):
They're they're back home. My wife's super pregnant right now,
so and we start our tour this week. So I
just got so much going on. She's at the house.

Speaker 4 (26:23):
I mean, great, combo, wife is super pregnant. You go
out of town for a celebrity softball game and then
to start a tour.

Speaker 3 (26:28):
I'm working, baby, That's why I gotta make the money.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
I gotta go to the office.

Speaker 2 (26:32):
Day at the office, Hey, what are you doing for
CMA Fest here?

Speaker 11 (26:35):
You got we start our tour on Thursday. So no
cmafest us. All I've ever done is play the stadium.
I know that sounds terrible at low key flex, but
I've never done anything else.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
See, you don't got.

Speaker 6 (26:44):
Any pop ups are out ton He's like, help me
play stadiums.

Speaker 3 (26:47):
Bro No, no, no, I don't play stadiums.

Speaker 11 (26:49):
The only CMA Fest stuff I've done okay, yeah, yeah
you no, No, we didn't play some stadiums, but the
only CMA Fest thing I've ever done is the stadium.
Like two or three years in a row. I didn't
even know about cmafest until like three years ago. I
had no idea what it was and know it existed, and.

Speaker 6 (27:04):
Well, you're a Texas guy, yes, sir, Yeah, so you're
down there, you're doing whatever they got rodeo.

Speaker 1 (27:08):
You're doing that now, you love the rodeo.

Speaker 11 (27:09):
I had no idea that cmafes the big I didn't
know this softball game was that big.

Speaker 4 (27:13):
My question, being a Texas guy, are you a Spurs
guy or you're an NBA guy.

Speaker 11 (27:17):
I live really close. I got a lot of Spurs games.
I live really close to the arena, but I'm from Houston.
Oh you're a Rocket, so I'm all Rockets, Texans Astros.

Speaker 4 (27:27):
Okay, do you when you when you go to a
Spurs game, can you just say you have your agent call?

Speaker 2 (27:33):
They give you free tickets?

Speaker 13 (27:34):
Is that?

Speaker 7 (27:34):
Are you there now?

Speaker 11 (27:35):
They don't sit I mean the GM's a buddy of
mine and he always asked me to sit his box
with him. But I like to sit court side, so
I'll buy my tickets.

Speaker 4 (27:41):
That is freaking amazing. What is it like when you're
sitting at court side? I mean, how much more fun
is it? Court sided?

Speaker 3 (27:46):
Is so much better?

Speaker 11 (27:47):
I went to it was like game five of uh
the Timberwolves, Yeah, Spurs series a couple of weeks ago.
I took my wife and I mean we had a blast,
like so much fun. Alex Rodriguez was there, Tim Duncan
was there, David Robinson was there, Manu Manu was there.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
It was awesome and we had a ball.

Speaker 4 (28:08):
Dud because when I was in college, I went to
UTSA and I used to work for the Spurs and
I got to be on the court for two championships.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
Like when the confetti was coming down. It's so sick, dude.
It was so freaking amazing Tim.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
That that club is no stranger to winning.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
It is awesome, dude. And Bruce Bowen cut a piece
of net game it too, and I was just like, man,
I am in heaven right now, Like I'm not supposed
to be out here. That's so good.

Speaker 4 (28:29):
I'm not supposed to be out of here, but I
am out here and they're handing me championship.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
Hat and shirt.

Speaker 6 (28:32):
Last question, since you said you went court side, you
know the game who wins Spurs or Knicks. A lot
of our truck drivers put some money on these.

Speaker 3 (28:38):
I think Spurs got him in five, and I wouldn't
be surprised.

Speaker 2 (28:41):
If it's a sweep.

Speaker 6 (28:42):
Come on, they just painted all the subways and everything
in New York though blue.

Speaker 11 (28:46):
And I think Spurs in five, and I wouldn't be
surprised if it's a sweep.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
But I think they got him in five.

Speaker 1 (28:52):
That's a home run.

Speaker 2 (28:54):
Golden Tate, just let's go four to two.

Speaker 3 (28:58):
Light them up.

Speaker 2 (28:59):
Boys.

Speaker 3 (29:00):
Look, he's gonna toy with him because he knows he's
so fast.

Speaker 11 (29:03):
I met Golden Tape playing golf one day, rode up
on a Segway with his golf bag on it, and
he said, what's up, man, I'm Golden, And I'm like,
there's only one person I know named Golden. That's got
to be Golden Tape played eighteen holes together.

Speaker 5 (29:15):
He's cool, Dude, did he know you? Did he write
up you on knowing you?

Speaker 11 (29:18):
Or did he just come out he rode up with
because of the guys that I was playing with. But
he rode up and we realized who he realized what
I was.

Speaker 7 (29:24):
I was.

Speaker 11 (29:24):
He was like three holes later, okay, and he was like, oh, dude,
you sing pretty hard.

Speaker 3 (29:28):
I was like, yeah, you're Golden Tate.

Speaker 1 (29:30):
He knew it was you because you were playing your
own music in the golf cart.

Speaker 3 (29:33):
You know who does that? My uncle? You're like, un
listen to Barber McCollum the whole time. We go off
every time, and I'm like, dog, anybody else, anybody else?

Speaker 1 (29:44):
What does that say?

Speaker 13 (29:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (29:47):
Maybe when's your record come out?

Speaker 2 (29:48):
It's yours?

Speaker 3 (29:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (29:50):
All right, all right, dude, you're the best boys.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
Dude. Boom boom boom, boom boom.

Speaker 1 (29:59):
We just took ear for the last twenty minute.

Speaker 4 (30:01):
Hey, we'll take a break. We'll be right back and
hopefully that didn't get awkward. It's just because the one
mic was cutting in and out. So now Ray and
I are sharing a mic during the interview, so we
had to hand it back and forth.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
It doesn't get awkward, dude. Now, I'm just making sure
the listeners didn't think it was awkward.

Speaker 1 (30:15):
The truck driver is on a lonely interstate. He doesn't
give a crap.

Speaker 2 (30:20):
Bro, that may be our best interview ever. We were great.

Speaker 1 (30:24):
I was hacking atimos, like what do you listen to
your own music? You lose?

Speaker 10 (30:29):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (30:29):
Man, I got much better questions. Hey, who we got?
Is this Golden Tate? Hey, Golden Tate?

Speaker 2 (30:36):
Oh? Basers? Oh high school crush?

Speaker 1 (30:38):
Okay, no, we can't say that they're friends. It was
a joke, like the funny angle.

Speaker 2 (30:43):
Oh sorry, like friends. Sorry the manager for the tav
Sorry sorry that was not funny. Unfunny. Mark strike that
from the record, dude.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
Like, that's the last angle we want to go?

Speaker 2 (30:53):
Man? Whoa That dude was pretty fast? Who's that is that? Rob?
That's Rob?

Speaker 7 (31:02):
That's Rob?

Speaker 1 (31:04):
The whole podcast is who is that?

Speaker 2 (31:05):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (31:06):
We got two outs? Oh my gosh, we got to
hurry with Golden sat man, I'll come back.

Speaker 2 (31:09):
What's up, baby? How are we doing? How we doing? Dude? Lunchbox?
What's she doing? How you doing? Man?

Speaker 13 (31:13):
Very nice to me, looking good, dude.

Speaker 2 (31:17):
Hey, that was a pretty good pop there. Dude.

Speaker 4 (31:20):
I'm a little mad you didn't get it all the
way to the wall or over, but you cranked it.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
Yeah, it felt good.

Speaker 13 (31:24):
I had a lot of backsmen on the ball, just
got lucky, found a gap, you know.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
Yeah, and you just get to flex because you're so
damn fast. You're just you jog. Hey, what's it like
being the best best athlete on the field.

Speaker 7 (31:34):
You think I'm the best athlete?

Speaker 1 (31:36):
Dude?

Speaker 7 (31:36):
Golden at the age at the right page of thirty seven.

Speaker 4 (31:38):
Dude, it doesn't. You could be forty five. You're a
better athlete than these people.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
Come like you.

Speaker 7 (31:43):
Thank you. It feels good. I love sports. Let's just
get that out.

Speaker 3 (31:45):
Of the way.

Speaker 7 (31:45):
I love sports. Anything sports related.

Speaker 13 (31:48):
Pickleball, baseball, football, paddle not chess, golf, golf.

Speaker 2 (31:52):
Yeah, Parker said he We just had Parker. He said
he played eighteen with you.

Speaker 7 (31:55):
That's right, that's right.

Speaker 13 (31:56):
He was not as buff back then, though, I will
say this, he was buff but he was not as
buffy as.

Speaker 2 (31:59):
Now, how good is your golf game?

Speaker 7 (32:02):
You know, I'm a.

Speaker 13 (32:02):
Head case, but I'm like a five index. It kind
of depends on how much money is on the line,
That's what that's when it matters.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
Do you like to gamble?

Speaker 1 (32:10):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (32:12):
Do you now that you're out of the game, do
you gamble on sports?

Speaker 1 (32:17):
Oh?

Speaker 13 (32:17):
She just made an error, right, Yeah, that's right? That
speed running down first space gatter?

Speaker 4 (32:27):
And when you were young, at what age did you
realize I'm better than all these fools?

Speaker 2 (32:30):
Like when did you start dominating?

Speaker 7 (32:32):
You know, I never thought about it. I always dominated,
but I never thought about it.

Speaker 13 (32:35):
I just loved sports so much, and like sports was
always how I felt like I was good enough. It's
where I felt the most comfortable. It doesn't matter what
was going on at in school or at home. It's
where I felt like I belonged. And I had older
kids growing up, so they were beating the ship out
of me NonStop.

Speaker 7 (32:50):
So you had to either stop playing or grow up.

Speaker 6 (32:53):
Hey, dude, at Pope John Paul, my wife went to
school with you, Laura Birdwell, yeah, oh my god, you
and she said when you were playing football, she's like
it was just the fastest thing to ever witness in person.

Speaker 1 (33:04):
You in high school. She said, if he caught it,
he was gone.

Speaker 6 (33:06):
And I said, you got to witness him as a
player on your team.

Speaker 13 (33:10):
Yeah, it was she was I think she was a
year older than me, or maybe two. Yeah, but I
remember her being so sweet and kind of hardened.

Speaker 2 (33:16):
Man.

Speaker 13 (33:17):
But like, like, I just love sports, and so I
never even thought about what I was doing. I just
was playing oshimid another er, let's go all right, here
we go.

Speaker 7 (33:26):
I just I just loved the game.

Speaker 13 (33:27):
I never really I knew I was good, but every
single game I would be nervous and I.

Speaker 7 (33:33):
Felt like I wasn't supposed to be there. And like
after the.

Speaker 13 (33:34):
First two plays, I would shake it out and then
I'd take myself to a dark place when I'm that guy.

Speaker 7 (33:39):
But I always doubted myself. But I think that's why
it worked so hard.

Speaker 6 (33:42):
When did the college guys start sneaking into games and stuff?

Speaker 1 (33:45):
Did you start meeting them?

Speaker 13 (33:46):
You know, probably my junior year, okay, And like we
were when I got to poke Jon Paul. It was
only the second year it been opened, right, and so
I didn't really understand what I didn't understand, but like,
and I never noticed. But people tell me stories on
how they were selling out.

Speaker 11 (33:59):
Cry.

Speaker 7 (34:00):
I never looked. I never paid attention.

Speaker 1 (34:03):
Yeah that stadium, dude, that was a lot. Did you
guys win? Would you guys win some championships?

Speaker 2 (34:06):
There?

Speaker 7 (34:07):
No, no, no, no no.

Speaker 4 (34:08):
Now, when you're in the NFL, you ever get hit
and be like, why the hell am I doing this?

Speaker 7 (34:12):
Oh yeah, oh yeah.

Speaker 13 (34:14):
I will never forget when my first my first game
against the Green Bay Packers, I was with Seattle Seahawks.
I get thrown a slant and the guy absolutely takes
my head completely off to the point where I still
have neck issues now. And I remember he got fined,
he got flag, but I remember thinking it was I
was hit so hard. I was like, man, that fine
money needs to come to me. That's how hard it was. Well,

(34:38):
h Golden Tate, we appreciate it. I know you got
to get back out there and make plays. But uh,
unless you're sitting in the benches seeing and you want
to sit here and talk, you know, I think I
think I got some time, so you know, I got
the commercial breaks and all that stuff.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
Well hold up, hey, Chris, Hey, Chris, Hey, Chris, Chris.

Speaker 4 (34:55):
He's yelling at Chris Lane. But Chris Lane ain't paying
attention my thought over there.

Speaker 13 (34:59):
I'm a third I'm a left handed third baseman, non negotiable.

Speaker 7 (35:03):
Don't touch my position.

Speaker 2 (35:04):
Okay, So you say you used to play with older kids, right, yeah, Okay.
Now I'm a parent.

Speaker 4 (35:07):
I have three kids, and it's amazing to me how
many dumb ass parents are holding their kids back so.

Speaker 2 (35:13):
They'll be the oldest kid.

Speaker 4 (35:14):
And I'm like, guys, if you wanted to be a
good athlete, you wanted to play against older kids, not
younger kids, right. You don't want him to dominate the
young kids. You want competition.

Speaker 13 (35:22):
Yeah, I think it's more of a you just never
know when your kids are gonna hit those gross first.
Some kids hit them later, and so I think it's
like the early on if your kick and play, he's
gonna separate real quick, real quick. But later in life,
when you're freshman, sophomore, sometimes even a senior, you just
hit the grossbert and it just gives you buy you
a little bit more time.

Speaker 1 (35:40):
Hey, your country music, right, Oh, I.

Speaker 7 (35:41):
Gotta go for you. Text my spot goldens.

Speaker 2 (35:44):
Ain't everybody? Wow?

Speaker 1 (35:47):
Hey, shotgun interview.

Speaker 4 (35:48):
He's mad as someone's taking his place.

Speaker 2 (35:50):
And third, He's like, now get out of there, I'm
playing third.

Speaker 1 (35:53):
Hey, do you know my wife?

Speaker 2 (35:54):
Hey? Was that fun?

Speaker 7 (35:56):
I like that?

Speaker 2 (35:56):
Dude, he said his first catch in the NFL.

Speaker 4 (35:59):
He was like, oh my god, he has neck issues
from his first hit in the NFL.

Speaker 2 (36:03):
That's ridiculous. Guys.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
That's on me for not knowing if they won the
state championship when Baser was there.

Speaker 2 (36:07):
That's on me. Yeah, you should have asked her, dude.

Speaker 1 (36:10):
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 6 (36:10):
All that is is at dinner one night, Hey, did
you guys ever win state championship in football? I should
have just said that one time and then I wouldn't
sound like an idiot.

Speaker 4 (36:17):
He's like, now, yeah, you wonder how Anderson High School did?
We won zero games my senior year, zero freaking game.

Speaker 1 (36:23):
I think gwyn High School was pretty close to that.

Speaker 7 (36:25):
They might.

Speaker 1 (36:25):
I wasn't on the team, but they have maybe won.

Speaker 2 (36:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (36:27):
So Division one athletes on our football team, they were
non existent.

Speaker 6 (36:31):
We had zero, dude, and guys in person, Golden Tate
is thick. I mean, dude, can you imagine you would
never catch him? Him running around for because listen, if
you did catch him, he's running through you because he's
so thick. His legs were the size of your mid section.

Speaker 2 (36:49):
Bro, I got a question. Was he tall? I don't
think he was that tall.

Speaker 1 (36:52):
That's what I'm saying. On TV he looks like a
shorter guy. But in person, I mean, dude, he's built like.

Speaker 2 (36:57):
A tree trunk.

Speaker 1 (36:58):
It was this guy's robb light Rub.

Speaker 2 (37:03):
Rub.

Speaker 4 (37:04):
We need you, baby, next, Dany, we need rom We
gotta talk Love Island.

Speaker 2 (37:08):
We gotta talk traders.

Speaker 1 (37:10):
Getting naked with the lady may.

Speaker 2 (37:14):
Whoa. He's like, who the heck are these idiots Australia?

Speaker 1 (37:18):
Hey on, they never go in the water though they pay,
basically just chilling the day bed.

Speaker 2 (37:22):
Wait, he was on Love Island Australia.

Speaker 1 (37:24):
Hey, help me?

Speaker 2 (37:24):
Was it Love Island? Yeah, he was on Love Island.

Speaker 1 (37:27):
Well, then I shouldn't have stretched and said Australia. I
don't know the kind.

Speaker 2 (37:30):
I don't know why you said Australia.

Speaker 6 (37:31):
Because it's baser watches every one of them. There's UK,
there's Australia, there's America.

Speaker 2 (37:36):
I did not realize that.

Speaker 1 (37:37):
Did we just get an interview with the ball boy.

Speaker 4 (37:38):
No, that's six pack. They do a news reporting or
local sports. We're live at the Fulls of Honor game. Guys,
Uh check out Folds of Honor dot com.

Speaker 1 (37:47):
I don't know. And I gotta respect Travis PASTRANI. He
comes over here with a black rifle coffee. That was
product placement.

Speaker 2 (37:53):
That was great by him.

Speaker 4 (37:54):
Yes, and he kept bringing everything back to America and
loving America and I really appreciate.

Speaker 6 (37:59):
It, And that's on us. We should have actually touched
on that. Hey, we love our country. Thank you so
much for coming and playing this. And he had to
bring that up. He kind of did a little bit
of the hosting duties and.

Speaker 2 (38:08):
I'm be honest you we're halfway. I don't even know
how far we are.

Speaker 4 (38:11):
Into this pond, but it's been fantastic. I thought we
were skeptical coming in. I wasn't skeptical. I just thought
we weren't going to be on the field.

Speaker 6 (38:19):
It's better you're on the field because people are more
inclined to come talk to you.

Speaker 4 (38:23):
I just thought we were gonna get no interviews, and
we actually got some solid interviews so far.

Speaker 6 (38:26):
And I've realized coming into this just zone in worry
about the interviews socializing. I haven't talked to one fan.
I haven't even looked back, don't. I don't give a
crap about the crowd. I'm just kind of looking at
these apartments. How jealous I am. These people are partying
balls on their patios. The one dude's got one guy
and two chicks. Hey, Britt, tell your friend to come over.

Speaker 1 (38:46):
There's a game tonight. I'll mean pride the wine.

Speaker 2 (38:49):
Yeah, season tickets. The only problem is that his sun. Dude,
they are getting roasted up there on their balconies.

Speaker 8 (38:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (38:55):
It's almost the same thing with the soccer stadium. You
gotta be careful where exactly you're sitting at.

Speaker 4 (38:58):
Yeah, trust me, I found out the hard way. How
much do you think those are like to face the stadium?

Speaker 6 (39:03):
Well, I mean, generally speaking. We stayed at one of
the premiere apartment complexes.

Speaker 2 (39:08):
Ball Rob oh Rob, Rob.

Speaker 1 (39:13):
Can't play ball.

Speaker 4 (39:14):
Oh my gosh, not a bad arm, Rob Camp, Oh
my god, he just fired it.

Speaker 2 (39:19):
Oh Rob can't play ball? Zach top with a terrible thrown.

Speaker 1 (39:23):
Guy's a guy from He's not a ball.

Speaker 2 (39:26):
That was scary, wasn't it out?

Speaker 4 (39:28):
And you play right field because you don't want the ball,
tell him, don't hit it over here?

Speaker 2 (39:33):
Who is that? Yeah? Who is Priscilla Block?

Speaker 4 (39:36):
Right?

Speaker 2 (39:37):
I don't think so. Yeah, Hey, hey at cool, at cool?
Who is that in right field? That's for Scilla Block?
Yeah right, yeah, just check it. We knew that. I
haven't seen it with sunglasses on. Yeah yeah, oh just
that cool man a cool. We need to take another break.
We'll take a break. We'll be right back. We're back.

(39:59):
Good luck finding all these bread. Here goes Parker a
getting Hey, dude, you better get your album. Parker's walking right,
there's he been drinking. He comes over, does another interview.

Speaker 4 (40:07):
Oh you got it? Okay, all right, Well, I don't
need your story. I just want to you had your album,
like you want to get his signed. I'm not trying
to hear your story.

Speaker 6 (40:14):
Well, and also if I can hear your question that
you asked me and then I never answered, those apartments
are probably thirty five hundred, i'd say, hey, there.

Speaker 4 (40:21):
He goes going up in the stands Parker because Bell's
bluffy thirty five hundred, Bell's bluffy.

Speaker 1 (40:26):
A discount and it was three you wait, you pay
three thousand dollars?

Speaker 2 (40:30):
Had a discount the cares team. Bro.

Speaker 4 (40:33):
But if you're paying three thousand dollars a month, thirty
five hundred a month.

Speaker 2 (40:36):
Bro, it's more than a mortgage. Why not buy a house?

Speaker 1 (40:39):
I don't know. You got all these real estate experts
saying sometimes it's better to have all the maintenance stuff
taken care of for you.

Speaker 4 (40:45):
That's probably true. And maybe, I mean, maybe you don't
want to put down roots. Maybe you're a wanderer. Maybe
is this J C. Latham? God he plays? Oh man,
that's about he struck out?

Speaker 2 (40:58):
Oh man?

Speaker 1 (40:58):
Or did he just do one?

Speaker 4 (40:59):
It's a good time for the Titan season man right there? Yeah, Hey,
Cooper Own, that was a dude on the boat. Right,
was he on the cruise?

Speaker 2 (41:09):
I was in bed the times he performed.

Speaker 4 (41:11):
Hey Cooper Owen was on the cruise, right yeah, top
shelf country cruise guys. Oh oh, Chris Lane coming, Oh
Cooper Own fell down, fell down, getting out of the box.

Speaker 2 (41:21):
That's that's tough. Oh great, we just landed an interview
with an eight. Hey man, you want to interview?

Speaker 3 (41:28):
Alright?

Speaker 2 (41:28):
Good toss, good toss.

Speaker 3 (41:33):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (41:34):
Look at all these shirts. Yeah yeah, we got shirts.
We got shirts, boys, we got extra large shirts. We
got shirts. Oh I need three. I got three boys.
They're gonna fight over it.

Speaker 2 (41:47):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (41:47):
I need it for prep.

Speaker 4 (41:51):
Oh man, all right, man, there we go, There we go.
We should be throwing sore loser shirts out here.

Speaker 6 (42:00):
I need to be ramping up these interviews because we're
in a little bit of a ull.

Speaker 2 (42:04):
No, we're good, man.

Speaker 4 (42:05):
Hey, Game one of the NBA Finals is gonna be
Wednesday night. A Hey, tonight when you're hearing this podcast
and I can't freaking wait.

Speaker 6 (42:12):
Man, you guys, remember when I said place your money
on not getting rocket.

Speaker 4 (42:16):
Hey, remember when I said, uh, spurs and five, and
Parker McCollum then later said spurs and five.

Speaker 2 (42:21):
Pretty smart dude. His gold coming back.

Speaker 4 (42:24):
He's coming, He's gone back, He's back.

Speaker 2 (42:28):
What the hell is he doing back here? Man?

Speaker 4 (42:30):
Oh that's quick, man, that was quick, Hey, Golden Where
was the hardest place to play in the NFL?

Speaker 7 (42:37):
I played there, so Seattle like prime Seattle. The place
was shaken. It was shaken.

Speaker 1 (42:43):
Hey.

Speaker 6 (42:43):
This guy in our podcast, he's notorious for saying the
time zones matter with traveling and being tired.

Speaker 1 (42:48):
Do they matter for an NF?

Speaker 7 (42:50):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (42:50):
Yeah, okay, thank you thank you.

Speaker 7 (42:52):
Think about it. Think about it when you when you travel.

Speaker 2 (42:55):
Where do y'all live. We're there here in Nashvial.

Speaker 13 (42:57):
So when you travel to LA you're tired right exhaust
you know, no matter how long the flight.

Speaker 4 (43:02):
Is, or so because you go to bed and you
get there and it's only eight o'clock, but it's ten
o'clock your time, it's like, oh my god, I'm tired.

Speaker 13 (43:08):
It's not You might be tired and not know it,
but your body is off. We're so routine oriented that
you throw something off a little bit. It's just kind
of like WHOA, what's going on now? You got to
overcome it, Like, don't use it as an excuse, but
you still, you know, just do a little bit extra rehab,
a little bit more ice tub, hot tub to get

(43:29):
ready for it.

Speaker 7 (43:29):
Try to sleep a little bit more. Like in Seattle.

Speaker 13 (43:31):
We used to go on Fridays to like Miami Atlanta
and let our bids get you got somewhere out of everywhere. Yeah,
we out in the middle of up there.

Speaker 6 (43:39):
Hey, these NBA guys watching these finals and stuff, the playoffs,
Like there's no way they eat before these games. You
just can't do that much running did you eat before games?

Speaker 1 (43:47):
And what did you.

Speaker 13 (43:49):
I had to do a car blow, man, you car blow,
because you're about to.

Speaker 2 (43:52):
Put it all out there early in the day.

Speaker 13 (43:54):
Though, Well, I so I got to the stadium five
hours before the game, so I definitely had to like
mac spaghetti, eggs, filets, a smoothie, electrolytes, and so by
the time I got to gain time, I was definitely
kind of hungry, but I was nervous enough where I
wouldn't eat and I would just kind of eat like
protein protein at that point.

Speaker 7 (44:16):
But you do the car blow, so you got plenty
just feel it.

Speaker 6 (44:19):
What's the culture like sometimes? Is there hanging out after
the games, like just shooting the ball with your boys,
or you gotta get home to the families?

Speaker 7 (44:26):
Yeah, oh yeah, so if you're at home.

Speaker 13 (44:28):
We used to go to Marshawn's house, Sydney Rice's house.

Speaker 1 (44:31):
We would kick it.

Speaker 13 (44:32):
Marshawn will be pouring up Patrinity, which is patron and
Hennessy mixed together. I don't know why any human would
ever do that, but he did have a reasoning that
I can probably not share on camera because I feel
like this is a family network. But uh, you never know, man,
we just we always the best teams were also the

(44:53):
closest teams, right.

Speaker 4 (44:54):
Yeah, I feel like because I watched the Spurs. I'm
a big Spurs fan, and I feel like they're close.
And I don't think you' fake that, Like you can
tell when they don't like each other. Yeah, it's just
like they don't play well together.

Speaker 7 (45:06):
Yeah. It could be a couple of things.

Speaker 2 (45:09):
Like we are.

Speaker 13 (45:10):
We are over the top addicted to our sport. And
if you're anything like me, I hated losing more than
I like win winning, and so it would just crush
me when we would lose, and even if we play
a pretty decent game, I would just be so critical
of myself.

Speaker 6 (45:26):
Hey, what is it that's filling that football feel for you?
Like the pickle ball or the golf or what right now?

Speaker 13 (45:31):
Because golf is like in season more so for me
right now golf. But between golf, pickleball and my kids.
I got three kids are eight, seven and four. They
keep me very very busy. Golden Tate, we appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (45:43):
We want to kick you out. But Roger Clemens is
walking up.

Speaker 7 (45:45):
I get it. He's He's definitely.

Speaker 3 (45:50):
Up.

Speaker 1 (45:51):
When I told you the rocket was not gonna come
over here. I would have lost that Monchy.

Speaker 2 (45:56):
This is gonna be great, dude, I got so many questions.

Speaker 1 (45:58):
About that guy. I don't bet anymore because I said
Rocket wasn't gonna come over here. Actually may just be
signing autographs.

Speaker 4 (46:05):
He might be just signing autographs. He may not be
doing an interview.

Speaker 2 (46:08):
Sure.

Speaker 4 (46:08):
I mean, well, let's take a break and we're gonna
come back with Roger Clemens. We're coming back with Roger Clemens.
This is I'm freaking out right now. Roger, Oh, Roger,
Oh yeah, buddy, Oh yeah, here we go.

Speaker 2 (46:22):
How's going?

Speaker 5 (46:23):
Man?

Speaker 2 (46:23):
What's up?

Speaker 7 (46:27):
You guys not let to have more fun than us?

Speaker 2 (46:29):
Let me tell you that.

Speaker 7 (46:30):
And who and who puts you out here in the
firing zone.

Speaker 4 (46:33):
I don't know our our our business people, but I
just want to say this is my second time meeting you.
I met you when I was seven or eight years
old outside dish Falk Stadium at the freaking.

Speaker 2 (46:43):
UT alumni game.

Speaker 4 (46:44):
You signed my baseball glob and I mean, it is
great to come full circle. And I thought I got
Roger Clemens to sign my glove. I'm about to be
a badass baseball player.

Speaker 10 (46:54):
Didn't happen, Roger getting up there but still still on
the right side of the grass.

Speaker 7 (46:59):
Let's go.

Speaker 1 (47:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (47:00):
And my question is, so my wife went to school
with your boys high school.

Speaker 2 (47:04):
Really yeah?

Speaker 4 (47:05):
And so my question is do you know that your
your house is legendary for Halloween because the way you
would give out we.

Speaker 7 (47:13):
Give out the big candy. Yeah, yeah, gave out that
small stuff and cards.

Speaker 2 (47:17):
Yep, autograph Roger Clemit's cards.

Speaker 10 (47:20):
And if somebody's really good dressing up, they get a baseball.
Now about that, you remember all that's that told me.

Speaker 2 (47:25):
All about it.

Speaker 4 (47:26):
She's just like, oh my god, it was so cool.
We get an autograph Roger Clemens baseball card. And I
was like, that is amazing.

Speaker 7 (47:33):
That's way better, isn't it.

Speaker 1 (47:34):
Hey, how often are you picking up a baseball?

Speaker 6 (47:36):
Because you hear those stories like Sammy Sosen never picked
up a bat after he.

Speaker 1 (47:39):
Left the gad that's bs Jordan didn't shoot a free I.

Speaker 10 (47:43):
Told everybody the worst mistake I made in the last
three years was agreeing to pitch an inning for the
Savannah Bananas. My whole body heard after that any I
had to get an ice tank.

Speaker 7 (47:52):
For three days.

Speaker 10 (47:53):
It was uh but I did it for my grandboys,
my nine year old twin grandboys.

Speaker 7 (47:57):
They call me Poppy Rocket.

Speaker 10 (47:58):
And they said, if you'll do it, we'll come out
to the mounta and do the gritty with you. And
I said, what's the gritty? So all right, I gotta
be back, Guys, I gotta play first. Unless you want
to be back, I'll come back.

Speaker 4 (48:08):
I I've got so much Roger Rock, Roger Clemens, Man,
who do we got next?

Speaker 1 (48:15):
Pedro Martinez?

Speaker 2 (48:16):
Oh my god. And we didn't even get to have
the questions. He said he'd come back.

Speaker 6 (48:19):
Talked about candy at Halloween's like he got to that man,
say man preseason butter Finger, Like, what are you talking?

Speaker 1 (48:28):
We got the Rocket, bro, And you lead with Halloween.

Speaker 4 (48:32):
No, I didn't leave with Halloween. I led with me
meeting him when I was seven or eight years old.

Speaker 1 (48:36):
Hey, you always had the best Halloween candy. Rocket, What
the crap? Did you lead with? Good thing? I came
with the Sammy Sosa thing.

Speaker 2 (48:45):
Yeah, that was huge, that was huge.

Speaker 1 (48:47):
You gotta think of some good ones.

Speaker 4 (48:48):
Oh you gotta like, did you ever break a kid's hand?
Because you threw some damn heart as a youngster that's.

Speaker 1 (48:53):
A good one.

Speaker 6 (48:53):
I wanted to ask, though, what was the buzz like
when you were younger and you were pitching, Like was
it would? Were there guns at your games when you
were in Dude? You got bugs everywhere?

Speaker 2 (49:03):
Dude, don't want.

Speaker 1 (49:07):
To do a.

Speaker 4 (49:09):
Jumbo tron hit. Yeah whatever, Yeah, come on, I don't know.
I saw Golden Tate and I didn't know what you
were asking me.

Speaker 2 (49:16):
I don't know how to read ash.

Speaker 6 (49:19):
Yeah, thanks for the interview than the good looking out.

Speaker 4 (49:24):
Oh yeah, Like when did they start gunning him? Like
did they have because there was a there was a
couple of guys in my little league Marty Hardy and.

Speaker 1 (49:33):
What it is? What when did they start gunning you?

Speaker 4 (49:35):
Bro?

Speaker 2 (49:36):
And they put a section behind the fence.

Speaker 4 (49:38):
They roped it off and you couldn't stand back there
because they threw so hard.

Speaker 6 (49:42):
Yeah, Morgan's given lunch Textans does not read lunch literally?

Speaker 1 (49:47):
Does it?

Speaker 2 (49:47):
How to read and talk at the same time.

Speaker 4 (49:49):
Well, she has it on black mode where you can't
see it, so she has to turn to a certain a.

Speaker 2 (49:54):
I couldn't read it. Yeah, Like, uh, is there something there?

Speaker 1 (49:57):
Your significant other has it on the black mode thing?

Speaker 2 (50:00):
Guys watch out.

Speaker 6 (50:02):
She's texting other dudes, right, Ashley's over here.

Speaker 1 (50:06):
Yeah, oh look at that.

Speaker 4 (50:08):
Oh nope, nope, no catch I mean yeah, we'll take
Priscilla block. But Roger said he's coming back, and when
Roger comes back, everybody gets booted. Okay, I mean that's
just the way it is.

Speaker 6 (50:18):
We gotta chill out, Dude, you really like screaming at Rocket.
You're talking about kick cat bars and butter fingers. Like,
chill the crap out.

Speaker 2 (50:24):
I'm sorry, dude, I got a little excited. Was that bad?
Can I ask me of these friends with Pedro Martinez?
You can ask him anything.

Speaker 1 (50:33):
Ah, dude, I'm just gonna pull a you during the
Bobby Bone Show, or you just chill and bones ask
all the questions.

Speaker 2 (50:40):
No, why would you do that? Like I'm because I
just want to hear him talk.

Speaker 1 (50:43):
I don't want to set up some story about a
butterfinger bar for five minutes.

Speaker 4 (50:46):
All right, heard your big king size but finger. Here
comes Priscilla Block, Here comes Priscilla. We'll take a break.
We'll be right back. Were taken so many breaks, dude,
I have no idea what number I'm gonna have to
look through this.

Speaker 2 (50:58):
It's gonna take a.

Speaker 1 (50:58):
While, all right, I'm not asking one question.

Speaker 2 (51:00):
What do you mean You're not I'm saving myself for Roger.
I'm kidding. I'll ask a questions. I was like saving yourself.

Speaker 4 (51:07):
Like just because you asked Priscilla a question doesn't mean yeah,
I don't even know.

Speaker 1 (51:11):
Dude, you freak out like I freak out with parking?

Speaker 2 (51:16):
Did you understand that Roger Clem is some weird kids?
He was it?

Speaker 1 (51:20):
We can always interview Abby from the Bobby Boat Show.

Speaker 2 (51:24):
Yeah, phone screener, shorten the air, Come on, Priscilla ticket.

Speaker 9 (51:31):
How are we doing?

Speaker 1 (51:32):
Is Pastrana coming over for another interview?

Speaker 2 (51:37):
Are we vibing? Guys?

Speaker 1 (51:38):
Hey, tell us what you're playing for c MA Fest?
Who want to hear the plan for CMA fes.

Speaker 9 (51:43):
It's wherever anyone tells me to be, you know what
I mean?

Speaker 1 (51:46):
Okay, so you listen to your people a lot.

Speaker 2 (51:48):
I like it. I do.

Speaker 9 (51:50):
The plan for CMA Fest is to be able to
meet as many fans as we can. I mean, we're
doing Riverfront Sunday morning. No, I got some like a
fan club party that we're doing, eat and greets, you know,
all the things.

Speaker 1 (52:02):
Is the fan club so people I'd obviously sign up
for that or can people just yeah?

Speaker 9 (52:06):
It was it was a fan club like sign up things.
So people get to hug and come out to Riverfront Sunday?

Speaker 1 (52:11):
Do people get to hug you with these? I mean,
how much are you letting them like hug you like
thank you for your music? What do you let them do?

Speaker 9 (52:17):
I mean I feel like I just vibe out the situation.
You know, if somebody wants a hug, I give a hug.

Speaker 2 (52:23):
You just never know. Now I don't it gets hot.

Speaker 9 (52:25):
Though, Like I'm like, honestly, no one wants to hug
me because I'm sweating.

Speaker 6 (52:29):
Oh, I guarantee you there's some truck drivers waiting in
that line that they're going in for a hug.

Speaker 1 (52:34):
A lot of our listeners are truck drivers.

Speaker 9 (52:35):
I love that shout out to the truck drivers. My
dad was a truck driver. Really yeah, like way back
when you.

Speaker 6 (52:42):
Don't realize they're right now on Ice seventy five, I
thirty shout it out to.

Speaker 2 (52:46):
All my truck drivers.

Speaker 1 (52:48):
They just turn it on eighty miles an hour, they
stop until Indianapolis.

Speaker 4 (52:53):
Heck, yeah, hey we saw the ball come you out
here in right field. And have you did you play
softball back.

Speaker 2 (52:59):
In the day.

Speaker 9 (53:00):
Oh no, never, dude, I have not hit a softball
since I did this last year.

Speaker 1 (53:06):
I really see.

Speaker 9 (53:07):
I think the only reason they really have me truly
out here is for the vibes. You know, the vibes
got to be high.

Speaker 2 (53:12):
They need vibe people. They don't need all athletes, they
need people that bring the vibe.

Speaker 9 (53:15):
No, you have to have a vibe coordinator.

Speaker 1 (53:18):
You know.

Speaker 9 (53:18):
It's as strong as the team captain. Really, you gotta
make sure everyone's having a good time.

Speaker 6 (53:24):
Uh, we got brought. This is another drinking question, cma fes,
I guess drinking. But Broadway? Do you actually go out
on Broadway?

Speaker 2 (53:30):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (53:30):
Yeah? Or you stick to house party?

Speaker 9 (53:32):
I love a Broadway party, dude. I I mean I
typically like, if I'm gonna go to Broadway, it's gonna
be during the week.

Speaker 2 (53:40):
One there Tuesday when the tourists aren't in town.

Speaker 9 (53:42):
Man Monday or Tuesday on.

Speaker 2 (53:43):
They just turned a double play.

Speaker 4 (53:45):
Wow, So what do you have a place that you
can go and you just chill, free drinks for scilla
blocks in the house.

Speaker 2 (53:55):
Everything's on the house.

Speaker 9 (53:57):
Sometimes sometimes we make all but like sometimes it's just
nice to see where the night goes.

Speaker 6 (54:03):
You know, I got a writing question. We also have
kids that listen and they and they listen in their
mom's soccer vans. So like, when are you most creative?
If a kid wants to be the next Priscilla Block,
the next Taylor Swift, when do you have those juices flowing?
Is it gonna be after this game or would it
be early in the morning.

Speaker 9 (54:19):
I think it's all the time. It's like my mind
just doesn't shut off on like being like, oh, maybe
I could write that, or maybe I don't know. I
just like I'm always thinking about music.

Speaker 2 (54:30):
Man. That would be rough to have your mind always going.

Speaker 4 (54:32):
Like even when you go on vacation and you're supposed
to get away from work, we don't turn it on, dude.

Speaker 9 (54:37):
I try to though, like I have to think about
it and being like, man, I need to, like, you know,
just go sit and stare at the ocean. But I
do I think about music all the time all the time.

Speaker 1 (54:49):
Is it Are you are you in writing studios?

Speaker 6 (54:51):
Are you playing the Megan Maroni She's like always on
a beach writing.

Speaker 2 (54:54):
Or something like that.

Speaker 9 (54:55):
I I mean, I would I love to write on
the beach. I mean it's really wherever. Like if I'm
in Ride and I'm in Nashville, we'll go into studios. Well,
I'll just pick up my guitar and start writing. It
kind of just happens different.

Speaker 6 (55:06):
Ways, you know, Like you're sitting in the dugout?

Speaker 1 (55:09):
Would you write something right now? If if the creative.

Speaker 9 (55:15):
Might have been of talent in my dugout, Yo.

Speaker 2 (55:17):
I should go green.

Speaker 1 (55:19):
You guys get a line together.

Speaker 9 (55:20):
Oley's not on my team, but there are some really
strong writers on my team. I was, I mean, Walka
Flaka was supposed to be here tonight. I was really
hoping that I was gonna be like, so are you
coming to like country? What are we doing here? I'm
so excited us two? He's not here tonight.

Speaker 2 (55:39):
What happened?

Speaker 1 (55:40):
Too late of a night on Broadway?

Speaker 9 (55:41):
Probably Broadway sometimes gets the best of people.

Speaker 6 (55:45):
You know, when you woke up with the rainstorm, did
you think this was canceled? Did you sleep until noon
every day?

Speaker 2 (55:51):
Oh?

Speaker 9 (55:51):
No, I don't sleep until noon.

Speaker 1 (55:53):
I wish I did.

Speaker 2 (55:54):
Uh.

Speaker 9 (55:54):
Now, this morning, I was like, the weather's kind of
sketchy today. I'm not gonna lie, but I just had
a good feeling that it was gonna be the perfect
perfect day, and it is.

Speaker 6 (56:05):
You have you have like a driver management, or you
just roll up here like all the fans here and
just park.

Speaker 1 (56:11):
In a normal parking spot. I just roll up. They
put us in a lot and there was no attendant.

Speaker 9 (56:18):
So you make the rules.

Speaker 1 (56:19):
Really, where's the security person?

Speaker 9 (56:22):
Show you? No, we just drove from my house. And
that's what's so great about doing Nashville things like you
can just drive out here.

Speaker 1 (56:28):
You know you've got a house condo? Do what house
or condo? I got a house.

Speaker 9 (56:32):
I gotta I gotta farms.

Speaker 6 (56:34):
That's what I'm see. I got the same thing. I'm
in Indian Lake. I'm out there with country land. That's
all you need.

Speaker 2 (56:40):
There you go.

Speaker 1 (56:40):
What did we learn from Kelsey Ballerini?

Speaker 6 (56:42):
You don't need the penthouse downtown alone in a penthouse.

Speaker 9 (56:46):
Baby, get kicked out of the penthouse, baby, Okay, I'm
here to tell you. And Ha hates to see me coming.
Too loud to see me coming.

Speaker 2 (56:57):
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (56:57):
I think, yeah, probably too loud. I just don't like rules. Okay,
oh yeah, but I did just get out of an.

Speaker 2 (57:03):
H o A thank God.

Speaker 1 (57:05):
With the with the housing community and stuff like that. Okay,
but now you're if you run out.

Speaker 9 (57:09):
Yeah, now I don't have the ho a.

Speaker 2 (57:11):
You have farm meddles and stuff.

Speaker 9 (57:12):
Not yet, okay, but that's next.

Speaker 1 (57:14):
He's gonna pull the jelly roll. He got like a goat,
he got a donkey and stuff like that.

Speaker 6 (57:19):
Yeah, every country artist realizes you gotta have the property.

Speaker 2 (57:23):
Oh oh, Priscilla's got a bat.

Speaker 3 (57:24):
She got a bat.

Speaker 2 (57:25):
Go Priscilla's going.

Speaker 6 (57:27):
Good gosh, guys about damn Varna and why would you
not save me?

Speaker 7 (57:32):
Dude?

Speaker 2 (57:32):
No, you were vibing because let me tell you, hey,
you know what he knows. He's going in a jackass.

Speaker 4 (57:37):
And then you gotta yeah, you actually you actually know
stuff about country music, and so you knew lyrics and
you were like relating because of different artist, and I
was like, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Speaker 1 (57:47):
You didn't save me.

Speaker 6 (57:48):
If the bat didn't save me, my next thing was
gonna be milking of cow's utters, bro, I had nothing else, dude.

Speaker 2 (57:54):
That was great.

Speaker 7 (57:54):
Dude.

Speaker 4 (57:55):
You went down farm lane you said, oh, I got
the same thing. When you got nothing close to him farm.
You have no damn animals except for a cat.

Speaker 1 (58:02):
And I tell her Indian Lake. It's literally a city
with strip centers there. She's like Indian Lakes.

Speaker 4 (58:08):
What.

Speaker 2 (58:10):
Oh dude, this is fun. I don't know, it's great.

Speaker 1 (58:13):
Oh right man, I'm gonna head out.

Speaker 2 (58:14):
You're gonna head out? Oh yeah, my buddy said you
had the game.

Speaker 7 (58:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (58:20):
I'm down in the right field corner right over here
in the bullpen. We got Pastranas trying to come over
for another interview. Guys, I didn't know where to be
the biggest.

Speaker 4 (58:28):
I was just talking to Roger Clemens and it was awesome.
Here comes Rob, Dude, Rob is coming this.

Speaker 6 (58:33):
This is trouble though, because I don't even know the
names of these shows I watched passively with Baser.

Speaker 2 (58:37):
I know it's a bunch of kids naked around a
pool and Rob's going back to the dugout. Dang dad.

Speaker 1 (58:42):
Who did he next with Jessica Love?

Speaker 4 (58:45):
I don't know who he I don't know who he
next with on Love Island, but I know he played
Traders and he was phenomenal.

Speaker 6 (58:51):
Okay, well then you got to lean into that because
I watch it so secondarily with Baser, I couldn't tell
you his name.

Speaker 2 (58:57):
The girl he dated Andrea. Andrea, he dated Andrea.

Speaker 4 (59:02):
I don't don't worry Brook, Taylor, Brook Tayler got Rob Roush.

Speaker 2 (59:07):
Don't worry, don't worry Brook.

Speaker 1 (59:09):
We'll just not interview him. That's absolute bull crap.

Speaker 2 (59:15):
He was on his way down here in radio.

Speaker 6 (59:18):
That's a local person getting the interview over a national podcast.

Speaker 2 (59:23):
That's okay, man, I'm not man, he'll be he'll be
over here.

Speaker 6 (59:28):
She's actually asking good questions. She said, are you hot?
Are you having fun? Remember that?

Speaker 1 (59:33):
Are you hot?

Speaker 2 (59:35):
What you really want me to say?

Speaker 7 (59:38):
Are you what?

Speaker 4 (59:40):
And here's the thing, man, I'm missing I'm missing my
kids baseball practice for this.

Speaker 2 (59:44):
You know that, right, we'll hear about it on Friday,
baby box.

Speaker 4 (59:47):
At baseball practice today, it was from five to five
point thirty to seven and all the rain they canceled
and they moved into the batting cage.

Speaker 2 (59:56):
I don't even know we had batting cages in Nashville.
All right, let's where's Rob. Rob went out to the field? Man?

Speaker 6 (01:00:02):
Guys, Rob was literally coming over here and they grabbed
him for a Jumbo Tron hit.

Speaker 1 (01:00:08):
That's absolute bullpucky.

Speaker 4 (01:00:10):
Okay, I may have blown it with Roger, dude, I
don't think Roger's gonna come back.

Speaker 2 (01:00:13):
And that's all the questions we got.

Speaker 1 (01:00:15):
Bro, that is gonna be you jumping the shark when
you asked him about a candy bar when we had
a freaking legend in.

Speaker 2 (01:00:20):
Here, Hey, I heard you have Jumbo Snickers?

Speaker 1 (01:00:23):
What about them Maice's cups?

Speaker 2 (01:00:25):
Baby?

Speaker 1 (01:00:25):
What the hell?

Speaker 2 (01:00:26):
You know what I was trying to do.

Speaker 4 (01:00:27):
I was trying to be relatable. I was trying to
have a personal connection with.

Speaker 1 (01:00:31):
The thing I said, the Sammy Sosa thing. I was like, Hey,
Sammy Sosa didn't pick up a bat, and he's.

Speaker 2 (01:00:36):
Like, that's bullshit.

Speaker 4 (01:00:37):
He did say that, Hey Roger, Roger come back.

Speaker 2 (01:00:41):
We're cat calling him. Text He say, see if Roger
will come back.

Speaker 1 (01:00:44):
During this happening, we got to play a pool.

Speaker 2 (01:00:46):
See if Roger come back.

Speaker 4 (01:00:47):
Since the we got cut off, he's out of the games.
I'm talking to you, Morgan, Well.

Speaker 1 (01:00:54):
Is that still Ashley Cooker? Her lickle?

Speaker 4 (01:00:57):
Like so Astley you're saying, hey, yeah, Morgan, see if
she'll send Roger back out here.

Speaker 2 (01:01:03):
He may't have been annoyed his crap.

Speaker 1 (01:01:04):
At us, But actually we don't want to interview you.

Speaker 2 (01:01:07):
But were you oh what about the potty.

Speaker 4 (01:01:11):
Yeah, we gotta we don't want to leave the pod.
Maybe Roger's coming back. He's out of the game right now.
We really need Roger.

Speaker 6 (01:01:16):
You just do the jumbletron hit. I literally don't want
to do it.

Speaker 2 (01:01:20):
I don't want Rogers. Where's he going? No, he's going
out there to play.

Speaker 1 (01:01:23):
Oh interview Rocket.

Speaker 2 (01:01:24):
Oh he's playing first base.

Speaker 1 (01:01:28):
Guys, you gotta be careful with Rocket. He might get
in there and try to pitch. He dusts off an
eighty mile an hour fastball.

Speaker 2 (01:01:34):
You do know that.

Speaker 9 (01:01:35):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (01:01:36):
In a celebrity game at Dell Diamond in Austin, I
did catch Roger Nolan Ryan.

Speaker 2 (01:01:42):
That was pretty cool. You did. Yeah, Nolan Ryan was pitching.

Speaker 6 (01:01:45):
See, we need a baseball to say we've played catch
with Roger Clemens.

Speaker 2 (01:01:48):
But I don't at my glove. I threw it at Dumpster, Dude.

Speaker 4 (01:01:50):
I actually played like we warmed up me and Nolan Ryan,
and then I caught him.

Speaker 2 (01:01:56):
As I played, he threw pitches. Freaking awesome. I have
a glove, dude. I want to play catch with Rocket, Dude,
just two bare hands.

Speaker 1 (01:02:04):
It'll be so painful that it'll be worth it.

Speaker 2 (01:02:06):
It would absolutely be worth it.

Speaker 1 (01:02:07):
What if he puts a little heat on it?

Speaker 4 (01:02:09):
Hey, Roger, can you just love it to me so
I can say I played catch with you?

Speaker 2 (01:02:13):
That would be awesome.

Speaker 6 (01:02:15):
I mean Ashley Cook, we still have an interviewed her,
but she's been right next to the potty studio out
here the entire game.

Speaker 2 (01:02:22):
Hey, we've yelled at her, Dude, we have yelled at her.

Speaker 1 (01:02:24):
What I'm saying.

Speaker 6 (01:02:25):
Has nobody told her that we're interviewing I don't know
she's doing the dougie.

Speaker 2 (01:02:29):
Yeah, I'm not allowed to look see.

Speaker 4 (01:02:32):
And we've got away from the play by play, so
that's even better. The pot is taken off. Oh there's rocket,
he forgets us. Has this pod been like two hours?
I don't only an hour?

Speaker 6 (01:02:42):
Remember, you gotta be careful it goes over to it.
There's times you're not gonna get able to load that
to the website.

Speaker 2 (01:02:46):
I know, I know.

Speaker 4 (01:02:48):
Should we take a break and just come back when
we get an interview.

Speaker 2 (01:02:52):
We're not an interview show, bro. I know you're right,
but man, i'd really like to get Roger.

Speaker 7 (01:02:57):
I feel like I.

Speaker 2 (01:02:58):
Blew the rod.

Speaker 1 (01:02:59):
We were only doing it an hour, Bro.

Speaker 4 (01:03:01):
I know, But if we have a chance to get
Roger Clemens one more time.

Speaker 6 (01:03:04):
We had him, We had him, and you asked him
about a butterfinger bar bro.

Speaker 4 (01:03:11):
Maybe my worst interview ever. Maybe my worst interview ever.

Speaker 6 (01:03:15):
At least I talked a little shop with the guy
hey Man in your gated community.

Speaker 1 (01:03:20):
I heard you have a jumbo pack of those baby ruths.

Speaker 2 (01:03:24):
Oh it's over.

Speaker 6 (01:03:25):
Oh Ashley, guys, pardon my friends. Ashley Cook hasn't caught
shit all game.

Speaker 2 (01:03:31):
Oh, there's gonna have to play at the play.

Speaker 4 (01:03:34):
Oh my gosh, why does she stop at third?

Speaker 2 (01:03:38):
Ashley Zachtop has a cannon?

Speaker 6 (01:03:40):
Ashley, Ashley, you got to get back.

Speaker 2 (01:03:50):
Yeah. See, I thought we'd have longer with Roger. I'm
bad man.

Speaker 6 (01:03:57):
Well in the sunglasses are almost not a good move
anymore because I can't see crap. Dude, if somebody hits
it to us, I'm not kidding, it's gonna hit me
right between the ice.

Speaker 13 (01:04:07):
You know.

Speaker 4 (01:04:07):
What's really funny is that we had Golden thing. We're like,
hey man, you gotta get up. Rogers coming.

Speaker 1 (01:04:13):
Well, at least we because we had Tate, I know,
and he was like, I get it, I get it.

Speaker 2 (01:04:17):
Oh, Roger, Oh is that uh?

Speaker 6 (01:04:20):
Gavin Adcock, hey cock, and God bring us the cock.

Speaker 7 (01:04:29):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (01:04:30):
I had to get kicked out of here too much
of his rifle water.

Speaker 2 (01:04:34):
Yeah, man, remember.

Speaker 1 (01:04:36):
What I told you guys would be getting drinks from
the batter's box out there and stuff.

Speaker 7 (01:04:39):
Who is this guy?

Speaker 2 (01:04:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:04:40):
I got lukewarm water delivered to me. Oh is this
Warren Zeider's stop with the do you know game?

Speaker 12 (01:04:48):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:04:49):
I said this is Warren Zeyners. I said that because
I didn't know that was Priscill Block until she was
about an inch. Oh my god, I didn't know war
Oh that's not caught.

Speaker 7 (01:04:55):
Oh man, oh man.

Speaker 1 (01:05:00):
No, that's Gavin Adcock.

Speaker 2 (01:05:02):
Dude. Yeah, who's out here that missed that? Who?

Speaker 10 (01:05:07):
Who?

Speaker 7 (01:05:07):
I can't see?

Speaker 2 (01:05:07):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:05:08):
Zach Topp has got to play CMA Fest, and I
believe Gavin Adcock is playing Nissan as well at CMA Fest.
You're going your tickets, right, Riley Green is also playing
CMA Fest Nissan.

Speaker 2 (01:05:20):
No, we don't have tickets. Oh I'm not going to that. Okay,
Riley Green's actually gonna hit it.

Speaker 1 (01:05:25):
We should do play by player.

Speaker 2 (01:05:28):
Ahead.

Speaker 4 (01:05:28):
Man, here we go, girling that bat around at the plate.
Oh and he popped it up and he slams the bat.

Speaker 6 (01:05:34):
Golden Tate Fadi, Oh my, Golden Tate is so fast.
Golden Tate caught that in mid center field.

Speaker 4 (01:05:43):
He's playing third base. He is too, he's playing third
base and he caught it in center field.

Speaker 8 (01:05:49):
I mean that is.

Speaker 2 (01:05:53):
Tate. Golden Tate is?

Speaker 7 (01:05:56):
That was.

Speaker 12 (01:05:59):
Hey?

Speaker 4 (01:06:00):
Chris Lane was like, how did you beat me to
that ball? Chris Lane's playing short and Golden Tate beat
him the center field and caught it.

Speaker 6 (01:06:07):
I told you, Basers said when he got on that field,
he was the fastest person she's ever seen in person.

Speaker 2 (01:06:14):
Oh he ain't catching it, no chance, no way.

Speaker 4 (01:06:17):
Oh slide and catch who is that? Don't play the
who is the game? I just did the same damn
thing that guy.

Speaker 2 (01:06:25):
Who is that? Who is that? Charlie? Oh my gosh, dude,
you some crocodile dundee son?

Speaker 1 (01:06:37):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (01:06:39):
That was great?

Speaker 8 (01:06:41):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (01:06:42):
Pause or pausing coach.

Speaker 2 (01:06:44):
Yeah, all right, guys, we are here with Rob Roush.
What's up, man, Lushbox, Nice to meet you, meet you.

Speaker 4 (01:06:51):
I got a question, man, before you go on Traders,
did you watch other shows to study how people play?

Speaker 2 (01:06:58):
I did not no research whatsoever.

Speaker 8 (01:07:01):
I didn't watch the show. I didn't watch Traders before
I went. I didn't want to buy us.

Speaker 2 (01:07:06):
So they they come to you and say, hey, we're
thinking about it.

Speaker 1 (01:07:08):
We want you to come on Traders.

Speaker 2 (01:07:09):
Are you immediately like yes.

Speaker 1 (01:07:11):
Or are you like, like, what is it?

Speaker 14 (01:07:12):
I said, I said, hell, no, I'm not doing that,
And then then they came back again. I was like, nah,
I'm not really feeling it. And then the third time
was the charm.

Speaker 8 (01:07:18):
They're like, you know what. I was like, might as
well play a game. I love games, So I decided
to go dude.

Speaker 4 (01:07:24):
Like, what is it like you walk in the castle
for the first time and when you're sitting around the
round table and you got the blindfolds on, right, how
is your heart just out of your chest?

Speaker 1 (01:07:32):
Like?

Speaker 5 (01:07:32):
Did you want to be a Trader?

Speaker 2 (01:07:34):
Oh?

Speaker 8 (01:07:34):
Yeah, yeah, I was super excited to get out.

Speaker 3 (01:07:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:07:36):
And when you I mean, but when you take the
blindfold off, how do you just like? Quite cool?

Speaker 4 (01:07:42):
I mean you you are like the most call. I mean,
here you are and on the show you were so
cal Are you always that call?

Speaker 8 (01:07:48):
Pretty much?

Speaker 13 (01:07:49):
Oh?

Speaker 8 (01:07:49):
I'm after this guy? But yeah, I think my hobbies
have a lot to do with it.

Speaker 14 (01:07:53):
I handle rattlesnakes and you know, do pretty dangerous things
pretty often, and you have to stay calm for that.

Speaker 8 (01:07:59):
So, you know, Traders kind of feels like patty Cake.

Speaker 1 (01:08:02):
You know, Hey, I watch your other show so passively
with my wife.

Speaker 6 (01:08:06):
It was Love Island, right, Yeah, and the girls are
on in the backyard and their panties and stuff like that, Like,
is there a lot of boredom?

Speaker 1 (01:08:13):
Like how bored? Did you get it that?

Speaker 8 (01:08:16):
Honestly, I'm not really wanting to get bored.

Speaker 14 (01:08:18):
My grandmother always used to say there's no such thing
as being bored, only boring people, and yeah, I think
that's true.

Speaker 8 (01:08:26):
You know, I make my own fun well.

Speaker 6 (01:08:27):
And also, they like they limit drinks. So I was
telling my wife, it's like you get one drink a
week or something. They limit it hard, right, two drinks
a night? Yeah they I guess it's one of those
shows they don't want you to get crazy.

Speaker 14 (01:08:38):
Yeah, definitely not. We even started gambling our drinks on
ping pong games. Nobody would play.

Speaker 2 (01:08:43):
Me, so that's what it is.

Speaker 1 (01:08:44):
So the boys did ping pong that's kind of and lifted.

Speaker 8 (01:08:46):
Oh yeah, and we had a rugby ball.

Speaker 2 (01:08:48):
I gotta go, j Rob's gotta go. That was a
good interview.

Speaker 1 (01:08:56):
I got to the backyard, the girls in their panties.
I knew I was gonna ask the question, and I
got it.

Speaker 2 (01:09:02):
Hey, you're better at interviews. Man. I don't watch Love Islands.
I don't know anything about it.

Speaker 8 (01:09:06):
Man.

Speaker 1 (01:09:06):
The last question I had for him was why does
nobody get in the pool, because it's just like.

Speaker 4 (01:09:10):
Maybe the mics. You can't get the pools with the
mics there. They have the pools for scenery. The same
thing with the Bachelor and Bachelor Red. They never get
in the damn pool because they have the mics on. Dude,
he's gonna run to first and Rudd right back to
the interview. Now he ain't coming back. He's done with us. Yeah,
he was done with us. Roger Clemens has done with us.
He's wearing jeans.

Speaker 1 (01:09:30):
We really should just end it, unless Rocket comes over.
We should end it ended on a high. Yeah, I mean,
we can't scream into these microphones for two hours.

Speaker 2 (01:09:40):
You're gonna have no voice.

Speaker 4 (01:09:41):
I'm gonna have no voice tomorrow. All right, Hey, do
we think any chance Rocket's coming back?

Speaker 1 (01:09:48):
No?

Speaker 6 (01:09:48):
Great, Josh, guys, let's relive the first question, Hey rocket.

Speaker 1 (01:09:53):
I heard you like kit kats and butter bringers. What's
your favorite one to give out the kids when they
come to your half? What the hell you lead with that?
You're a broadcast professional man, and that well also, guys,
that's what happens to you don't have producers.

Speaker 6 (01:10:09):
This is an unproduced show. And that is a prime example.
We should have had him like ten questions. That is
on me and Arnold.

Speaker 2 (01:10:16):
That's bad. I thought we were gonna have him for longer.

Speaker 1 (01:10:20):
It's a perfect prime example of why there's producers in radio. No,
because that was a god awful question, and you wasted
our interview with the rocket I did. That's not getting
you a Marconi.

Speaker 4 (01:10:35):
I literally thought we would have ten minutes with him
so I could warm him up by saying, hey man,
I met you.

Speaker 2 (01:10:41):
Blah blah blah.

Speaker 6 (01:10:42):
No, no, listen, truckers and tractor drivers, tug boters, this
is a bit real talk and teachers out there. If
he does, if Lunchbox does not get into the Radio
Hall of Fame, that right there is the reason that
wasted question in this interview. Alright, well, guys, we gotta go,
we gotta go. We are I gotta get props to Rob.

Speaker 1 (01:11:01):
He literally left the interview had sprinted into here and
he got a hit. He didn't give a crap about
this body.

Speaker 2 (01:11:07):
Now. He was like, I gotta go talk to these.

Speaker 1 (01:11:10):
I was like, I didn't even know the name of
your show.

Speaker 13 (01:11:12):
What was it?

Speaker 1 (01:11:12):
Love Island.

Speaker 2 (01:11:13):
He's like, yeah, idiot, Yeah, hey, Roger, can we gotta
come over here and talk to you? Like, can we
talk to you while you warm up?

Speaker 6 (01:11:18):
But if you guys get a second, actually look up
Rob on Instagram or TikTok. You know what he's known
for what he does.

Speaker 1 (01:11:23):
It's funny, no what He'll go in a home depot
and build like a miniature house, or he'll go in
a Walmart and microwave a pizza until he gets yelled at.

Speaker 2 (01:11:32):
That's funny.

Speaker 6 (01:11:33):
Yeah, him and his buddy go do that stuff where
they'll buy all the products at the store and see
if they can get away with building it inside the store.

Speaker 2 (01:11:39):
That's really actually funny.

Speaker 6 (01:11:40):
Oh bro, it's it's unreal. Like I actually got a
whole new respect for him. I didn't get to get
to that because you were talking to Hi about traders.
You know, you told me literally, hey go hard on
the Traders. You said that he goes uh yeah, super happy.
Oh my god, dud, You're right, Parker would love a
third and no, we got a wrap, dude, Actually, cook

(01:12:06):
has I mean she's been ten feet from us.

Speaker 2 (01:12:08):
And not done one interview?

Speaker 7 (01:12:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:12:11):
Oh man, I'm I'm thinking I blew the Roger Clemens. Man.

Speaker 1 (01:12:15):
Yeah, we gotta end it, dude. I gotta get to bed.

Speaker 2 (01:12:16):
Oh, we gotta go to bed. All right.

Speaker 4 (01:12:20):
Hey, my buddy just texted me and said, hey, did
you remind Roger about passing out cards from his house
for Halloween?

Speaker 2 (01:12:25):
And I'm not to reply yes.

Speaker 4 (01:12:27):
And it was the worst interview ever because that was
the only question we got because he had to go
bat or something.

Speaker 2 (01:12:32):
Oh man, man, yeah, hey, how bad was that?

Speaker 1 (01:12:36):
Whatever happened to your jumbo tron hate you were supposed
to be doing.

Speaker 2 (01:12:39):
I don't know, dude. I'm depressed about my Roger hit.
So I moved on.

Speaker 1 (01:12:46):
J Color.

Speaker 2 (01:12:47):
Oh no, we'll wait for Jay if he'll.

Speaker 8 (01:12:48):
Come, we'll pass.

Speaker 1 (01:12:52):
I support team Kristin Cavalary.

Speaker 2 (01:12:55):
Don't no folds of honor. Man.

Speaker 4 (01:12:58):
They've done a hell of a job out here. What
a great, great organization. They just gave a scholarship away.
I recently saw you on media. Hey, Jay Man, I
sat with you at the Folds of Honor thing at Christmas.
Do you remember how that's the question I'll lead with.
Do you want me to lead with that one?

Speaker 7 (01:13:16):
Hey?

Speaker 2 (01:13:16):
Jay?

Speaker 4 (01:13:17):
What do you hand out of your house for Halloween?
Because Roger Clemens hands out autographed cards.

Speaker 2 (01:13:23):
Listen, you've.

Speaker 6 (01:13:25):
You've got to carry the j Cutler interview because he's
gonna remember me from seven years ago.

Speaker 2 (01:13:32):
I don't think he will. Bro I went up to him. Okay,
that would be amazing.

Speaker 1 (01:13:39):
Guys seven years ago.

Speaker 2 (01:13:41):
Come here, Ashley, Come get that ball. Everybody. We got
Ashley Cook? Here, Ashley? How you doing? You have fun?

Speaker 5 (01:13:47):
I'm having so much fun.

Speaker 1 (01:13:48):
I'm winded.

Speaker 2 (01:13:49):
You're what little winded?

Speaker 8 (01:13:51):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:13:52):
You gotta get in shape for these games. You don't
realize how much running there is for real.

Speaker 5 (01:13:54):
Way, I gotta get back in the game.

Speaker 2 (01:13:55):
All right, good luck.

Speaker 1 (01:13:57):
Great didn't even get a picture.

Speaker 2 (01:13:58):
Wow, that was a great interview with Ashley. Guys, great interview.

Speaker 4 (01:14:03):
All Right, we're gonna find out after this half ending
if Roger is gonna come back, and if not, we
are going home with my head held between.

Speaker 2 (01:14:11):
I mean it's sad. Oh no, don't worry. Brook Taylor will.

Speaker 1 (01:14:13):
Get an interview with somebody who threw the ball.

Speaker 3 (01:14:18):
Who threw that.

Speaker 2 (01:14:20):
Parker? Yeah, Parker just threw the ball hit me in
the foot.

Speaker 6 (01:14:27):
I think I'm out of here. I mean, what are
we gonna do? We're gonna interview brook Taylor next.

Speaker 2 (01:14:32):
No, she's coming to do a jumbo hit. No, I'm
not interviewing brook Taylor.

Speaker 7 (01:14:36):
No, she's doing a jumbo you're doing it.

Speaker 2 (01:14:37):
I'm not doing it. I gotta carry the pod.

Speaker 7 (01:14:39):
Where is it?

Speaker 2 (01:14:41):
Guys ask me for a ball, but I don't see
the ball. Man, ready, do you see a ball behind me?

Speaker 1 (01:14:45):
No? Man, there's no ball behind you.

Speaker 2 (01:14:47):
Oh my golden Tate with a great play. All right,
I'll carry the pod. You do the heady, Oh yeah,
you carry the pod. I'll do the It could be
on the hit with me.

Speaker 6 (01:14:56):
No, I gotta keep doing the play by play because
we're not editing it. Lunch got a ball thrown to him.
He's looking under his cherry camp. Fine, he knocks his
microphone off.

Speaker 4 (01:15:06):
She's gonna kneel him between us. That dude has asking
me for a ball, but I don't see a ball.

Speaker 2 (01:15:11):
I don't know, man, Oh is that.

Speaker 8 (01:15:14):
There you go?

Speaker 1 (01:15:15):
It's a mini softball.

Speaker 7 (01:15:16):
Man, there you go.

Speaker 2 (01:15:21):
All right, we're about to find out. We're gonna get
Roger back here. Oh he's coming. He's coming straight to us. Dude,
eliminate the jumper.

Speaker 1 (01:15:28):
We're going Roger.

Speaker 2 (01:15:28):
We're going Roger. We're going Roger.

Speaker 1 (01:15:33):
He is coming back.

Speaker 2 (01:15:35):
We are Oh my god.

Speaker 7 (01:15:37):
Okay, I go.

Speaker 2 (01:15:39):
Wow. We're doing a jumbo tron hit right now, y'all. Hey,
we want you now, we want Roger comes Rocket. I'm
gonna not asking about Halloween. I'm I'm not gonna ask
you about Halloween. I blew the first interview. We're going
hard now freaking club.

Speaker 7 (01:15:54):
Hey, look at that logo. Check it out. That is
some of that.

Speaker 2 (01:15:58):
You're on the Jumping I'm on the Jumpbo show. I
love that.

Speaker 3 (01:16:02):
Yeah, everybody you got paper Rogers.

Speaker 2 (01:16:06):

Speaker 9 (01:16:07):
Way that Raymond lunch Spots, I joining parts.

Speaker 12 (01:16:11):
Okay, we would have about an interview in Roberts fans
here on the Surleses podcast.

Speaker 2 (01:16:21):
I'm peeking out.

Speaker 3 (01:16:23):
The little kid me is heaking out.

Speaker 2 (01:16:24):
I'm wearing Rogert Climen's glove.

Speaker 4 (01:16:26):
Never gonna wash my hand again because I got Roger
Climan's sweat on my hand.

Speaker 2 (01:16:30):
It's freaking awesome.

Speaker 7 (01:16:32):
Y'all.

Speaker 9 (01:16:32):
Get listening to the SISS podcast on.

Speaker 7 (01:16:35):
Podcast Brothers Lives for Roger.

Speaker 2 (01:16:37):
Clan and see.

Speaker 1 (01:16:40):
We're doing the interview now, yes, you he has the mic.
You have the mic. What's the question?

Speaker 2 (01:16:45):
So when you were young, I mean, did you ever
break anybody's hand? Because you threw so dang hard and
literally like pager's.

Speaker 7 (01:16:51):
Not want to catch you, man, believe it or not.

Speaker 10 (01:16:53):
I was a better defensive end than it was pitcher
first basement in high school. But having said that, I
threw strikes and so to coach brought me. I had
little bugs bunny curveball, and the coach would bring me in.
The other guys would would wet the bed a little
bit out.

Speaker 7 (01:17:06):
There, and he'd bring me in.

Speaker 10 (01:17:08):
And uh and uh, you know, I was strike thrower.
Then I matured. I graduated at seventeen. My mom was
a stickler on education, so I graduated early. And then
my first year in college, I grew a couple of inches,
got stronger, and the gasolines started happening.

Speaker 6 (01:17:22):
I gotta always I always want to ask this, Like pitchers,
they run before their pitching debut.

Speaker 1 (01:17:26):
Did you run when you pitch or was it off
days that you that you Yeah.

Speaker 10 (01:17:30):
I got a T shirt that says it as on
the back of the T shirt, I guy says, my
only day off was the day I pitched.

Speaker 7 (01:17:35):
Okay, and that's the work that's done in between.

Speaker 1 (01:17:38):
So if you can remember this, my nephew's going to
college to play baseball. How much did you run every day?

Speaker 13 (01:17:43):
Like?

Speaker 1 (01:17:43):
Was it long distance or sprints?

Speaker 5 (01:17:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (01:17:45):
So after the start the very next day, I'd get
two miles in, trying to go seven and a half
minute miles, get everything out, do some light upper and
lower work, and then I would throw my bullpen the
next day. Just depending on how many days rest or
whatever I had, that would dictate what my running did. Now,
when we got past All Star break, you're not gonna
get any better shapes.

Speaker 7 (01:18:04):
So I cut my entire routine in half.

Speaker 10 (01:18:06):
I got in swimming pools more for therapy on my shoulder,
and was trying to save myself for late September, hopefully
playoff October baseball.

Speaker 1 (01:18:14):
You got Wellsey, He said that when he threw that
perfect game, he was all drunk tonight before. Yeah, did
on off nights, like when you didn't have to pitch
the next day, could you throw a couple back at the.

Speaker 10 (01:18:23):
Bar and let me just tell you what the back day,
the back in the day, it was a long Island
iced tea. But I'll I'll tell you Wellsey, Wellsey, he
wasn't drug. He probably ate a full pizza though.

Speaker 2 (01:18:33):
For he fished. They tried to get him to lose
weight and his velocity went down.

Speaker 10 (01:18:38):
I said, let the man eat, he when he when
he ate, That's when he threw one hit shutouts.

Speaker 4 (01:18:42):
Did you have a ritual like for the night before game?
Did you eat the same meal like you know, like
in high high school cross country, I always ate a
chicken nugget from Windy's you know five pack the night
before race play.

Speaker 2 (01:18:53):
Not the best meal. But did you have a go
to meal?

Speaker 7 (01:18:56):
I did on game day?

Speaker 10 (01:18:57):
I had something like a banana or something in the
morning on the time I'm pitching, because it's hot like this,
you're in every game, you're kicking your leg up one
hundred and ten times whatever, So I'd have a you know,
an energy drink or a banana, and then I ate
about two o'clock for seven o'clock seven to thirty game,
and it was chicken pasta broccoli and burn it off
in a heartbeat.

Speaker 1 (01:19:18):
What's the fastest you reached you're so.

Speaker 10 (01:19:21):
Yeah, I threw over one hundred miles an hour, but
I never pitched at that speed. I pitched between ninety
four and ninety eight, right when you start reaching back
and getting over one hundred, which a lot of the
guys do. Now, you make mistakes in the middle, and
I tell him, even my young one who I just
was watching, I had the guys on infant watching Cody's
with the Twins. I teach people that you can't sneak
a piece of cheese by a rat, and big leaguers
can put wood on a bullet for the most part.

Speaker 7 (01:19:43):
But yeah, I it. I pitched in that in that
area ninety four to ninety eight. I'm a power pitcher.

Speaker 10 (01:19:48):
I don't throw so your listeners, whoever whatever it was watching,
And I was fortunate when I was real young, we
traded for what I who I considered the best power
pitcher ever is Tom sever Terrific was my teammates. So
as a twenty two year old rookie twenty three year
old rookie I kept my mouth.

Speaker 7 (01:20:05):
I kept my mouth shut. So yeah, I'm I'm supposed
to be hitting right now, guys.

Speaker 2 (01:20:09):
Roger Clemens, thank you. Hey skip him, skip him?

Speaker 7 (01:20:13):
Come on, let somebody else hit. We're on TV down here.

Speaker 4 (01:20:16):
My question is how the pressure of being, you know,
on the mound Big Game World Series compared.

Speaker 2 (01:20:22):
To being a parent. There you go, you know what
I mean?

Speaker 1 (01:20:25):
Like?

Speaker 5 (01:20:25):
What what is that?

Speaker 13 (01:20:26):
Like?

Speaker 2 (01:20:26):
I think you said it perfectly.

Speaker 10 (01:20:28):
So when people talk about pressure and pitching in game seven,
you know, some games, Games three, swing games, Game sevens, I.

Speaker 2 (01:20:35):
Said, that's not pressure.

Speaker 10 (01:20:36):
I hear him on the announcers when I'm putting in
these celebrity tournaments.

Speaker 7 (01:20:39):
Here's a pressure. Putt this and that. Now, it's not pressure.

Speaker 10 (01:20:42):
Pressure is go home on an off day and throw
dad's pitch and you get six pitches and you gotta hit.

Speaker 7 (01:20:49):
And you win or lose on how the dad throws strikes.
Let me tell you, I don't I don't want to
punch out.

Speaker 10 (01:20:54):
I don't want to punch out seven seven seven year
old you know, I don't want to punch them.

Speaker 7 (01:21:00):
I don't want to punch those guys out.

Speaker 10 (01:21:02):
But anyway, so you get six pitches, right before I'm
trying to hit the kid's bat on the sixth pitch,
and if I miss it, you know he's gonna start balling,
and you feel terrible.

Speaker 7 (01:21:11):
Well, right when I get ready to let that pitch go,
I look up and the mom's in.

Speaker 10 (01:21:14):
The stands and she's like, Jesus, your professional throw my
kid a strike.

Speaker 2 (01:21:19):
That's that's pressure.

Speaker 6 (01:21:21):
Hey, what's your opinion of this robot ABS that calls
these pitch man.

Speaker 7 (01:21:26):
They pinch guys east and west.

Speaker 10 (01:21:27):
But I love it because they call the heis riizough,
So I would be I'd be throwing that gasoline up
top and then mister Spiddy, mister Splitty would be.

Speaker 7 (01:21:34):
Making appearance down below.

Speaker 4 (01:21:36):
But didn't you like it when you had a certain
umpire because you knew umpires have tendency.

Speaker 2 (01:21:40):
Yeah, so you like the one that gives you the outside.

Speaker 10 (01:21:42):
Well that that exposes damps a little bit some of
the some of the guys that aren't so good that
that tracking system exposes them.

Speaker 7 (01:21:48):
But it really also shows the good ones how really
good they are.

Speaker 10 (01:21:52):
You know, you're throwing ninety eight miles an iron and
they say it just missed the zone, and those guys
are calling it.

Speaker 7 (01:21:57):
So it's pretty interesting.

Speaker 2 (01:21:59):
And what about the all the relief pitchers, like pitcher's
going five innings? Are we root? Is baseball getting weak?
Are we? Are we going salt?

Speaker 1 (01:22:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (01:22:07):
So the way to get rid of guys going four
innings would be if you tie the DH to your starter.

Speaker 7 (01:22:14):
So if you bail all me after four, we lose
the DH.

Speaker 10 (01:22:16):
So your manager's coming up to you before you guys said, dude,
you gotta give me six innings or something.

Speaker 7 (01:22:20):
Now, if a guy gets hurt, all bets are off.
If you get injured, that's all you know. But it'll
stop these dudes looking over their shoulder after four innings.

Speaker 6 (01:22:28):
Sure, I know you don't care. But back when you pitched, dude,
you were Mussy TV. I would record every time you pitched.

Speaker 7 (01:22:34):
Were locked in bed?

Speaker 2 (01:22:34):
Watch it? Do you watch Sports Center?

Speaker 1 (01:22:36):
Do you watch any highlights or anything?

Speaker 2 (01:22:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (01:22:38):
Mass some of my favorite commercials of those Sports Center commercials.

Speaker 1 (01:22:40):
That I did.

Speaker 7 (01:22:41):
I remember one I was standing by a fax machine
and I was printing out case.

Speaker 10 (01:22:45):
Oh yeah that was a thousand thousands, and the dudes
waiting in line to you know, to do his h
U your faxing or whatever, and yeah, I told him
I'm gonna be a while, but yeah, I mean it's
you know, like I said, you guys got to understand
when I people see you from Afar and just like
these fans here say, I lost my dad when I
was nine. I was raised by two strong women, my
mother and my grandmother. My mom worked three jobs. She

(01:23:07):
was an accountant by day. I helped their stock coolers
in the afternoon and on the weekends, and uh we
bet she she cleaned office buildings at nights so I
could have a sweet pair of cleats and a brand
new glove. So my mom worked so so I kind
of get pissed off when people go all use silver swoon,
million dollar aster.

Speaker 7 (01:23:22):
I go, wait a minute, dude.

Speaker 10 (01:23:24):
I watched my mom with her hands in her head
at the breakfast table, get our electricity getting turned off.

Speaker 7 (01:23:28):
I said, you can save that, put it in your
back pocket.

Speaker 10 (01:23:31):
Hey, that's why you saw my intensity when I was
on the mound, because you know, she basically taught me that.

Speaker 6 (01:23:36):
You know, Oh dude, you were in Saint Hey, what
age do you remember when the guns started showing up
at your games?

Speaker 1 (01:23:43):
Middle school? The radar guns.

Speaker 2 (01:23:45):
Rent our guns?

Speaker 7 (01:23:45):
Uh middle middle, middle college.

Speaker 2 (01:23:49):
So a little, a little, a little bit through.

Speaker 10 (01:23:53):
When I was at University of Texas, I started people started,
you know, checking us out a little bit.

Speaker 7 (01:23:57):
We got to stand up again.

Speaker 4 (01:23:58):
Come on, yeah, come on, we got to say goodbye
to Roger and hey, DJ his new gig, DJ No
Request tell.

Speaker 7 (01:24:09):

Speaker 10 (01:24:10):

but I got a patent the name. Tonight, I'm DJ

and want to sing, it'll be DJ sum requests.

Speaker 7 (01:24:50):
