Speaker 1 (00:01):
Who welcome in. Guys, we are the Sore Losers Podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
I just had to tear the butt out of this
entire programming system. The volumes now louder, so engineering must
have came in here and done some work on it.
I can no longer sign into my account. But guys,
that is too much in the weeds. We're gonna do
it live in a minute. Just so you know, we
are from the Bobby Bone Show. This our side podcast,
and we have a convention in exactly fifty nine days
(00:29):
in Nashville, Tennessee, twenty twenty seven.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
Brought to you.
Speaker 3 (00:33):
By Freeland Chevrolet.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
You go to those boys for water, you need oil,
you need a good conversation with Richard. Talk to the
boys down there, Lewis. There's some good old boys. They're
gonna get you done up right. But let's do it live, man,
Today's the day.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
We're gonna do live. Today's the day. Woo oh the
one two D Sore Losers, What up, everybody? I am lunchbox.
Speaker 4 (00:59):
I know the most about sports, so I'll give the
sports facts my sports opinions because I'm pretty much a sports.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
Genius, y'all.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
It is Sisson from the North Alpha male. I live
on the North side now of Nashville with baser, two acres,
two kids at Vanderbilt, still eggs, not yet embryos. Justin's
supposed to be checking on him, but he's got a
dead dog on my property and he's on a dingy
gun lake. He's still talking about fantasy football though. Every
day he goes, hey, man, if you're not gonna look
(01:28):
into this and take this seriously, something's wrong with you, man.
And I told him I got the Nudi mag I've
been looking at.
Speaker 3 (01:34):
Oh yeah, you got it from Circa.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
Circa gave me a fifteen dollars NUDI mag with all
the fantasy football stuff you need for free, so.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
You should be on top of the world.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
And I was reading it.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
You can host a tournament there, and they have girls
that'll turn your picks over for.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
You, like hold the draft there.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
Yeah, so I'm curious.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
I remember I got the prices, the five hundred dollars
amount for a bed, thousand for a mini cabana. How
much do you think they charge to host a fantas
see football? You imagine bringing the truckers out.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
Kobe White rolls up. I'm here, I'm in Stephen Vega's division.
Speaker 4 (02:11):
They ain't got no truck parking now circus. It's tightly
packed down there in the old district.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Well, and they don't even let you pull in the front.
It's a beautiful entrance. There's all these lights, glitzing lamor.
First time I went there, Uber pulls into that, I'm
like doing video because or doing the YouTube.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
Security guy comes out valet.
Speaker 5 (02:29):
No, no, no, you can't come in here. Uber's and
rides here is over there at the garage, Ma Hall.
You cannot come in here. You gotta go to the
garage Ma Hall. The garage is another two hundred feet
behind it. You can't even pull into the front. Why
do you have a gorgeous entrance if nobody can pull in.
Speaker 4 (02:51):
They only want like people that are gonna park there,
and taxis probably. I don't know if taxis can pull
up there, But I just know that trying to get
an uber or a lyft in Las Vegas is so
much harder. I understand it might be cheaper than a taxi,
but it takes you an extra fifteen minutes to walk
through the hotel, go to the third level of the
(03:13):
parking garage, down an alley and out by the dumpsters
to find the uber lyft. They do not make it
easy because I think ubers and lyfts are a headache
to the hotels basketball tournament.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
At UNLV, they made a parking lot for ubers and lyfts.
But the guy goes, hey, that's so confusing. I was
on the phone of them. He goes, I'm just gonna
pull up jump in. He said, I don't even know
if I can get out of that parking lot. So
the car cuts through you same thing, UNLV guard. Hey, ubers,
don't go there, get in, get.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
In and get in.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
I grabbed the door and hop it. I was like, dude,
thank you, I got some I gotta get dude.
Speaker 4 (03:48):
It's like you fly into the Austin Airport, you know,
and you you're like, all right, you know, don't worry
about it, Garrett, you don't need to pick me up.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
I'll just or Dad, I'll just take an uber or
a lyft lo and behold, you gotta go down across
all the traffic up to the third floor, across the
entire parking garage. So freaking annoying. Well, it used to
be they could pull right up, and they can in Charleston, but.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
They clogged the airport lanes, you know what I mean,
that's why they don't want him.
Speaker 3 (04:16):
They're same with Nashville. Same thing.
Speaker 4 (04:18):
You gotta go down across over. I mean, it's it's
not convenient.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
You know what.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
Maybe they can't in Charleston. That's why the guy got
yelled at and they told him he was added to
a list. But he didn't speak English. Ah, so I
don't even think he knows he's on that.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
Line, or he just acts like he's on it. Doesn't
hear English. No, no.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
And also do cops really enforce it?
Speaker 2 (04:36):
So say the airport puts you on a list, they're
gonna be like, hey, cops, here's all these guys that
pull into a pretty normal road to pick people up,
but we make them go to a random parking lot.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
Is that even allowed?
Speaker 3 (04:48):
It must be because isn't enforceable. Yeah, right, they got
the whistle that anything with a whistle and an orange
cone is enforceable.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
But just so you know, man, you gotta go to
the garage mahal Colby. You can't pull up the eighteen wheeler.
Speaker 4 (05:04):
That would be fun. I just don't think we could do.
The sore losers in Vegas because we have the convention
so soon afterwards. People are saving their money for that.
They don't want to fly to Vegas just to draft
their fantasy team.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
Why did I not bring that super magazine because I
was laughing out loud at it.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
It would say, so Daphne was one of the workers.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Yeah, it would say, Daphne can host yours and she'll
do the picks for you, probably for two hours of
cat calling. I'm sure she loves it. But each one
of them had to come up with a quote about
how fun it is. Oh and obviously they all had
a gun to their head when they had to do this.
Because Daphne goes it's so fun seeing all the energy
from all the middle aged men. There's such a blast,
(05:43):
and it's always a lot of characters. These girls get
absolutely cheeks pinched for two straight hours.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
They absolutely get the humanized. I mean absolutely terrible. There
is no way. All the guests are so much energy
and so fun. There are zero creeps, I doubt it.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
And they do it at the pool, so the girls.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
Are, oh my gosh.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
And then I think there's another girl named I remember Daphne,
maybe Sarah, and she goes fantasy football. I never knew
there was this much enthusiasm and excitement. But this really
makes me feel like I'm a part of the team too.
Speaker 6 (06:20):
Okay, dude, you know behind closed doors, they are making
fun of these losers that think they're actual coaches of teams.
Speaker 4 (06:31):
They are so mad when people because you know that
some of these leagues are so serious, Like they do
a draft in person and someone drafts the guy they want,
they slam their clipboard and they're pissed, like if you
no way, they don't see that kind of crap.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
And also they have to flip over.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
I mean, you know, your butt is turned to the
guys for what two hundred picks?
Speaker 3 (06:54):
Oh gosh, and then she's like, what who's that? Where
would I find that name? Right? And so then they're
also probably kind to teasing him if they mix up,
you know, a Joe Nixon for John Clinton. Dick ye,
you know Peyton Manning for Eli Manning? Can you bring
that magazine on Wednesday? And I can. I just don't
(07:14):
want you getting any of the information from him. I
promise I won't read it. I just want the inspirational
quotes to inspire me for this upcoming season.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
I told Justin that I needed.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
Who's the guy ever West about Malik Lemon or something
for New Orleans? Who I don't know?
Speaker 4 (07:28):
I dude, I listen. I don't want to know the information.
I haven't even looked. I don't even know who has who.
I don't even know who the head coach of some
of the teams are.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
I think his name is Malachi Lemon, and I go, hey, dude,
we definitely This magazine says he's a sleeper, we need
to get him, and Justin goes, if you look back
at the text, I told you two months ago, we
need to get this Malachi guy. And I said, yeah,
Justin you and every sports center. Acre comes on and goes, hey, guys,
Malachi Lemon gonna be a really good wide receiver because
everybody was saying he should have been drafted above Carnell Tait.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Oh.
Speaker 4 (08:00):
My question is like, who's the head coach of the
Atlanta Falcons. I'm not a coach, guy, I have no idea.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
Who's the quarterback for the Cardinals? Why are they picked me?
Speaker 4 (08:11):
Jacoby Brissett or Beck? I think it's Jacoby Brissett or Beck?
Speaker 3 (08:15):
Yes, because Kyler is in Minnesota, Okay? Him and JJ McCarthy.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
Well, and all I know now is the Bill Stadium
has issues.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
All I know is that Bill Stadium has a broken
table in the entryway, like as a statue. I do
know that, And I do know the Denver Broncos unveiled
the nicest practice facility you've ever seen.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
And Drew Brees got elected into the Hall of Fame.
And he did the fake clear off the smudge off
his cheek.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
No he didn't, he did. I mean, how about Vina Terry, dude,
I mean, you want to talk about hilarious a He
rips Bill Belichick ands he says, hey, sorry, Bill Belichick,
couldn't be. I think he's uh judging his girlfriend's cheerleading competition.
(09:09):
Like it shows you that some of these guys are funny,
Like they're really funny. And then he says, oh, I
see Pat McAfee in the crowd. Hey, Pat, how you doing, man?
Pat McAfee's the only guy that like, hold my balls
as much as my wife did.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
Her wife gets a big old laugh and the laughs.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
And I said, that is so funny that you can
joke about your wife holding your balls as you're going
into the Hall of Fame. And she laughs she he
cleared it with her obviously. Yeah, but people, Actually that's
the first time she heard that joke. She was able
to prepare her fake laugh. I don't think any wife
likes that kind of dirty humor. Like, what Saturday night
(09:50):
at your neighbor's house. Has that kind of dirty humor
been funny to your wife? It usually ends with this, Hey,
you've had enough to drink. Ray, No, seriously, that's your
last one? No shots?
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Okay, Sorry? Did I break out the dirty humor? My bad?
She prepared a very great fake laugh.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
I felt like she genuinely enjoyed it, and she thought
it was really funny. I thought it was a genuine like,
oh my god, you're funny.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
Ray. Some of these wives nowadays love off color humor.
None of them do.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
Here's the crazy part. Dude, a dude I went to
high school with was at the Hall of Fame.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
You can't get in any joke.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
Blow. Eh, you didn't let me finish my story.
Speaker 1 (10:32):
He was elected.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
Eh. His son, I guess, goes to high school with
Luke Keikley's son, and Luke Keickley is their linebackers coach.
Speaker 4 (10:42):
So he invited them all to the NFL Hall of
Fame induction. So he's got cigars from Luke Keighley. He
got to say what up to Drew Brees and he
was hanging at the after party with all these Hall
of famers.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
Geez, can we get some exclusive dats on that?
Speaker 4 (10:58):
I mean, so you want to tell me, oh, anybody
can go? No, how does that happen? How does your
son happen to just go to the high school with
him and get to go to the Hall the year
he goes to the Hall of Fame?
Speaker 3 (11:08):
That's crazy.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
Private, prah good. The ceremony is probably got to be private.
The fact he got to go to the post party,
that's badass. Campton heard. There's not a lot going on there.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
See. Look he got a Luke Keickley induction cigar. That's
pretty legit.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
Let's say a cuban.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
That's pretty legit. And here they are. Here are the
kids with Keikley.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
Man Kokley made the hall.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
Yeah, dude, See there he is Hall of Fame dude. Man.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
His kids look like they're all built like a truck.
Speaker 4 (11:39):
But this is the dude, the guy in the blues,
that's the guy went to high school his son.
Speaker 3 (11:43):
He's huge.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
Yeah, they all look huge.
Speaker 3 (11:46):
Like this dude. The dude that I'm talking about.
Speaker 4 (11:48):
There was one time he was driving home from a
baseball game after the game and one of the players
of the other team and their dad was at a stoplight.
He gotta have his car and fought to the other
kid's dad at the stoplight.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
We're trying to uh not have that happen as much
in today's society, and that is.
Speaker 4 (12:04):
Why they then had to ride the team a team
bus to the games. There was no more driving yourself
because he fought a kid's dad from the other team
at the stoplight.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
Okay, that is bananas.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
What about the afterparty? Are there any stories from that?
Speaker 3 (12:18):
Man? He did? He said? He said, what up to Breeze?
Speaker 1 (12:20):
Ry Brees got schlockered.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
He talked to LT for a little bit. He said,
that was pretty wild.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
Lords.
Speaker 4 (12:28):
Oh, I would say Lawrence Taylor, that would be my guess.
But yes, that's all he said. Grabbed a handful of
Luke Keigley cigars as well, and then my batter's box
if you want to, you know, what about everybody that's
batter's box here with a special he said, I am one,
(12:48):
and oh on the bump against Hall of Famer Drew Brees.
Because Drew Brees was at Westlake when Batter's Box was
at Anderson, he pitched against against them. Anderson got the
win Batter's Box one and oh and then a guy
from high school said, said, what's up to Drew as well?
Gave him a shout out.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
That's it. Wow, that's the last of the story.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
I believe all the Hall of Famers had their own
parties that you'd get invited to.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
Probably, Yeah, so is the Luke Keigley one the least
popular of them. But if he saw Drew Brees, why
was Drew Brees not at his own.
Speaker 3 (13:20):
Maybe it's just one big part, like big like private,
okay thing where you don't go to a restaurant, you
just have it there on the grounds. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (13:28):
Canton was banging this weekend.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
That's pretty I would bang in this weekend. Yeah, kids
were home, you know what I'm saying. Uh, But yeah, dude,
we got to get to this draft. But here here's a.
Speaker 4 (13:38):
I'm gonna I just want to talk about the Fantasy League.
It's when dreams are made of and I want to
tell you I want to give a shout out to
Ryan McIntyre. He was the first person to enter the
twenty twenty six Fantasy Football drawing. The last person was
Tanner Herring. He was the last person to submit. So
there you go. Those are two names. They're not in
(13:59):
the league. They're on the list first and last to enter.
Will their name be drawn? I don't know.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
Are we drawing the names today?
Speaker 3 (14:06):
Yeah? Oh my gosh, this sucks. I was preempared to
tell my waitress story. We're about to draw forty names. Gosh,
damn it.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
What I didn't know it was today? What a buzz kill?
We came in hot.
Speaker 3 (14:31):
Do you want me to wait until Wednesday?
Speaker 1 (14:34):
Can yes? Or can we do it? Virtue?
Speaker 2 (14:36):
I gotta prepare mentally. It's just not the most entertaining.
I gotta find a bed that we can play. Otherwise
it's you and me, dry dry reading names for forty
five minutes.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (14:47):
I mean I thought we had this clear understanding that
we were doing it today.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
Well, and I should probably have a computer, Like, how
am I reading names?
Speaker 4 (14:55):
I mean, in the last couple of years you told
me you didn't want to read names, that you just
wanted me to.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
Spin the wheel and do it okay, And so.
Speaker 3 (15:01):
That's what I thought we were doing again.
Speaker 4 (15:03):
And I thought that's why you brought up the fantasy
mag And I thought you were talking about because I
thought you knew well.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
I knew it ended today. I didn't know last night.
Speaker 3 (15:13):
Drawing twenty nine days before the NFL season starts.
Speaker 4 (15:18):
You have to have to listen. I told you we're
doing things in advance this year. Crap, they're doing things
in advance because I don't want to be waiting until
last minute, rushing, and I wanted to draw them today
and give them until Thursday or Friday morning to pay,
and the redraw would be Friday.
Speaker 3 (15:35):
So I thought you would save your waitress story. Let's
read them, Let's do it. I name them. Wait, tell
me if you recognize one of these beds like this one?
What bet is this dead air? Oh? That's a drum.
That's not bad. It's really loud.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
Though. What did we play last year?
Speaker 3 (15:54):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
Oh, I must have just done okay, I did these, Yep,
I did these all right.
Speaker 4 (16:00):
I talked to batters Box last night and I said, hey, man,
you ready for fantasy? And he goes, I'm gonna tell
you what he goes, it seems like fantasy got here
really quick this year, faster than it's ever got here before.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
Well, that's an old quote. Thanks.
Speaker 4 (16:15):
I was like, you know, you're an old man when
you said it, he goes, Man, I'm just gonna tell
you when fantasy football season.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
Is over, I need a break. Oh god, he said.
Speaker 4 (16:24):
I am so dialed in for those months of fantasy football,
that you're dialed in every single day that at the
end of the season you just need to numb out
and not think about fantasy. So when everybody's talking about
fantasy time, fantasy time, I'm shocked.
Speaker 3 (16:40):
It's that quick that it's back, is he young?
Speaker 1 (16:43):
Gummies?
Speaker 2 (16:44):
What does he mean numbout? And also, guys, it couldn't
have got here soon enough. This summer's been brutal. No
betting the World Cup. World Cup was a great nap.
Major League Baseball is never on TV. I just put
golf on in the background for or some sort of
background noise.
Speaker 3 (17:02):
Dude, this summer's been brutal. There's been nothing on. It's
been so bad.
Speaker 4 (17:07):
Yeah, I mean I haven't watched a ton of Major
League baseball just because with three kids, you ain't got time.
To watch Major League Baseball. The kids will watch sometimes,
but they are in and out, wanting to run around.
It's just like, man, I haven't watched much, but my Cubs,
My goodness, they're on fire.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
You've been watching banana ball.
Speaker 3 (17:27):
God? No, God no, I don't understand it.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
It's on the TV more than MLB.
Speaker 4 (17:34):
It's ESPN has tied their ship to the WNBA and
banana ball. I would think that the NBA and Major
League Baseball would be more lucrative than those. But I
must not understand. I must be missing the boat. I
have no idea. What's going on.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
Well, Friday night, you had your choice between grown men
shooting miniature basketballs or banana ball, grown men in banana thongs.
Speaker 4 (17:56):
Hold on, did you see the one where they were
doing it was pill No, the darts, the pop dart? Yes,
what the hell is that? I've never even seen that.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
Oh, they got it downtown. I'll tell you the place.
Speaker 4 (18:08):
It's that hokey It's where you throw those rubber darts
and they stick to a table. Yes, I saw the
highlight and people were going crazy and I don't know
what happened.
Speaker 3 (18:16):
It was at the win yep.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
But that's the new sports in America.
Speaker 4 (18:21):
Maybe Batter's Box could take that up in the offseason,
since he needs to numb out after a fantasy football season.
Speaker 7 (18:27):
Right.
Speaker 3 (18:27):
I'm not even gonna get into the controversial WNBA. I
haven't watched it.
Speaker 4 (18:32):
I just know that they I tuned into ESPN last
night and they were like, oh, and there's a layup
by somebody. I was like, no, next, sorry, draw the
names all right, right after this, we'll take a break
and we'll get this party started.
Speaker 3 (18:46):
We'll be right back. I had no idea.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
You didn't know, man, I guess I knew it was
the deadline. I just didn't know we were doing the
physical drawing because even Justin asked me and I said,
I don't know, probably a couple of weeks. He's getting
really excited about it, which tells me Gambley hasn't been
successful for him, so he needs another avenue and there's
been no sports on he really does need. We need
(19:13):
it as a society, We need fancy football to start.
Speaker 4 (19:15):
Yeah, I agree with you, and I'm just looking at
some of the names on the list. Anthony Munnos is
in there, Michael Calderon, Luisa Harmon, Jeremy Berkin, Dan Salter,
Marina Garza, Justin Van Andrews. You're all on the list
the screen I can see. Should I hit shuffle, shuffle
the names? You ready to spin?
Speaker 3 (19:34):
What do you want me to do?
Speaker 1 (19:36):
Spin?
Speaker 3 (19:37):
Spin?
Speaker 1 (19:37):
Here we go.
Speaker 3 (19:38):
First person, and you're gonna be in Batter's Box's Division.
Batter's Box Division. Ryan Ron Youngren Ron Youngren Ngrats Ron,
you're in Batter's Box Division. You have till Friday morning
to pay me.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
Make sure that check clears.
Speaker 3 (19:56):
Ron. Here we go, and I did I customized the wheel. Yeah,
I didn't know I could do that.
Speaker 4 (20:02):
It used to be ten seconds per spin, now it's
four perfect.
Speaker 3 (20:07):
Uh. Another one in Batter's Box Division. Jose Zapata, Jose Sapata.
We know the name, Yeah, we do know Jose. No way, Jose.
Speaker 4 (20:18):
All right, you are removed from the list. Now I'm
gonna shuffle the names again. Oh, you're going he is hot.
Ray is hot in here? Finally it is freaking a
steamer in here.
Speaker 3 (20:28):
Third person, Steve James, Steve James Ray.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
You want to give me a steamer to the face?
Speaker 3 (20:37):
Boy?
Speaker 1 (20:37):
Is it hot in here? What dude, I'm talking about?
Speaker 3 (20:42):
But I walked in here. I was like, damn, it's
hotter than usual. Man.
Speaker 2 (20:44):

me to shuffle the names.
Speaker 4 (21:51):
Man, I thought these are all shuffled. They are, but
I can shuffle them again. Sean Homeski, Sean Holmeski, Humsky.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
I don't know how you say it. I'm really good
at names.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
Well, and I mean I used to be the public
address announcer, so maybe I can help with the pronunciations.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
Coach.
Speaker 3 (22:07):
Oh, maybe I should have given you the computer well
too late.
Speaker 1 (22:11):
I could have brought the chromebook.
Speaker 3 (22:13):

link to the wheel. Yeap, Brett Andrew Gosney, Brett Andrew Gosney.
You're in Batter's Box division.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
Good call in the three names parents.
Speaker 4 (22:27):
That's a tough one. Hey man, what's your name? Brett
and Andrew Gosney whatever?
Speaker 1 (22:32):
Man, See, these are new names, which tells me the
brand's growing.
Speaker 4 (22:36):
Oh yeah, you want to know how many injuries we
had this year? Down from last year?
Speaker 3 (22:40):
Was it?
Speaker 1 (22:41):
Really?
Speaker 3 (22:41):
Yeah? Down?
Speaker 1 (22:43):
Tell me the total?
Speaker 3 (22:44):
Five seventy three.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
That seems about it. That's what I told justin in there.
He's like, there's no way. What do you mean, There's
no way, dude, that many people wanted to pay two
hundred dollars.
Speaker 4 (22:55):
Yeah, but it was down. I think the economy being
down really hurt our numbers. Here we go, let's draw number.
Really what Taylor Stanford higgin Botham, Taylor Stanford Higginbotham, little.
Speaker 2 (23:15):
A lot of these are sec names. The kids that
went into those schools. You know, a lot of their
a lot of parent trust money.
Speaker 4 (23:21):
Yeah, named after Stanford University. Must be a rich kid.
Speaker 3 (23:24):
Higgin Botham, Dude, he's the I'd say he's the sleeper Higginbotham, Higginbotham.
I kind of like that name. I hope he's in
it so we can say that name a lot. I
hope he's a contender. I hope he's not a pretender.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Man, did you see Higginbotham getting beat this weekend by
a woman's team?
Speaker 3 (23:41):
Oh, Mikey knofs knofts n o ft z. Yeah, how
would you say that? New ops Mikey new Offs Man, I've.
Speaker 4 (23:52):
Never heard that name, never emailed, never been on the
Facebook page. Well, I was gonna say, you've ever been
on Instagram? Would you know if they've emailed before the show?
I think I would well one it show.
Speaker 3 (24:02):
It's another email from that person. It's a separate form.
Speaker 1 (24:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (24:07):
Hey, one of the names I said earlier that was
on the screen has made it. Luisi Harmon, Louis C.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
Harmon.
Speaker 1 (24:15):
Welcome in Luisi, Luis C.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
Harmon.
Speaker 4 (24:19):
And this is the last. Next name is the last
one for the Batter's Box Division. Everybody that I've called
your name so far, Batter's Box Division, two hundred dollars,
pay me by Thursday, by midnight.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
Let's do that. And also the Batter's Box Division doesn't
really mean anything, no, because he's not day Field questions.
Not really. Yeah, you can hit him.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
I make sure you see your homeroom leader. Batter's Box
knows nothing about it.
Speaker 3 (24:45):
Go to your guidance counselor they'll lead you the way.
They'll teach you everything. We have a winner. Jeff Baird.
Speaker 4 (24:52):
Jeff Baird is in Batter's Box Division. Congratulations that a boy, Baird.
We are eleven names down. We are eleven names down.
Should we read an email real quick?
Speaker 2 (25:04):
So if it's forty eight teams, you me Batter's Boxing
the other way, so there'll be forty four new.
Speaker 4 (25:10):
People, forty four new Hey, fellas, you're very amazing best
in the world. Fantasy football league is similar to getting
a ticket to the Masters. Yes, the Masters. I try
every year and get denied, just like you, Lunch. You
will never get to go to the Masters, and I
will never get to join your fantasy league unless you
give me a spot in the fantasy league, and I
(25:32):
will get us to the Masters. I have funds. You
make it happen, and I will make it happen. Ray,
you can join two. I have the means to make
it happen. Let's just say I'm a surgeon. Very douchey
move to say that, but just want to let you
know I have the funds. Now you know how the
real losers feel. Plan ahead, Martin, what is happening?
Speaker 3 (25:56):
He is offering Masters tickets if we just put him
in the league.
Speaker 2 (26:01):
Sounds like he's offering you and him to go the
Masters together and I can just be a third.
Speaker 3 (26:06):
No, he said, Ray can joint.
Speaker 1 (26:08):
That was a sympathy invite.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
It almost seems like he's gonna ask you questions for
the entire four days about what kind of grundies you have.
Speaker 3 (26:16):
I don't. I didn't get that.
Speaker 4 (26:18):
I'm gonna shuffle the names again, and we're gonna do
Ray's division. The white picket fences right now here we
go tell me this, Yeah, go ahead, the shuffling.
Speaker 1 (26:27):
I mean they're really already shuffled.
Speaker 3 (26:29):
Yeah, I know. I'd just like to shuffle. Mark Burley's
cousin has made it in. Henry Burley, get in there, Henry,
Henry Burley. Never heard that name. We got a bunch
of new people this year. Burley. Oh Man, whatever happened
to Mark Burley? He was good, He was real.
Speaker 1 (26:47):
Good, lefty.
Speaker 3 (26:47):
Yeah. You know what's funny is I saw someone in
a Burley shirt the other day.
Speaker 2 (26:52):
I saw somebody at a concert and there was so
many bros and jerseys. They said, is the new concert
attire for dudes?
Speaker 1 (26:59):
An NBA jor might be?
Speaker 3 (27:01):
Because there was It was a whole sea of different
random jerseys. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (27:05):
And uh, we were getting ice cream and the guy
two families in front of me, he just had an old,
tattered shirt and it said Burley on the back of
his number.
Speaker 3 (27:15):
I was like, wow.
Speaker 4 (27:16):
And I know why I've never heard from this guy
on Facebook, because he says, no Facebook, It's Nick Hensley, Henny,
Nick Hinsley, Welcome, deserve it, Henny. I wonder if he's
related to Wes Henley. Hensley who used to live in
my neighborhood, live right down the street from me.
Speaker 2 (27:33):
Next year, can we maybe have them attach a picture
so you can get to know these people.
Speaker 3 (27:39):
Oh maybe we got our first woman, Maria McAlpine. There
you go, Maria Mcalvin. You're all in Ray's division, Maria
or Marie mcalpline canter. Oh, he's like what the I
don't even understand, Like, what is he doing? Like is
(28:02):
that funny? I don't get it.
Speaker 2 (28:04):
It's because it went political and they're trying to say
that they're all inclusive. They're like, so then these NBA
guys are like, oh, you're all inclusive. Huh well then
how can I get in? And they're like, well, we're
all inclusive, but uh.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
Yeah, I haven't seen what the WNBA said to that.
Speaker 1 (28:15):
Well they can't allow that.
Speaker 3 (28:17):
Well, they just won't draft him, right they.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
Say that, Yeah, maybe the draft happens, then none of
the teams pick him up.
Speaker 4 (28:22):
Yeah that would be I mean, okay, just ignore him,
just be like, okay, declare for the draft.
Speaker 3 (28:27):
Great, just don't draft him. Yeah, it's not that hard.
You don't have to even exdress it.
Speaker 4 (28:31):
Next up, Michael Calderone. Calderone is in.
Speaker 1 (28:35):
We know him?
Speaker 3 (28:36):
You do? Is that the couch?
Speaker 1 (28:39):
I don't know, but that's definitely a last name we've
heard of before.
Speaker 3 (28:42):
I think I called it earlier. I think I saw
his name on the screen.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
Well, and you got to realize some of that.
Speaker 3 (28:46):
With conventions and Fantasy football and Facebook, we've probably seen
a decent amount of these last names. I agree, Trenton
Ham and we don't know last names. We're not very
good well.
Speaker 2 (28:57):
And so when you also read them, act like you're
reading off fans only members. How these people are strangers?
Speaker 3 (29:02):
Dude, Sorry, dude, I'm trying to do it in a
hurrican both higgin.
Speaker 1 (29:08):
Higgy dude.
Speaker 7 (29:08):
Oh Jolene Joe Lene Joe in Florida, Joelene clean back
climb back back back Joelen.
Speaker 3 (29:22):
Dude, you got two chicks in yours clean Bach. That
should be competitive for Justin. He's struggling, he's played two years.
Speaker 4 (29:31):
No, he's gonna he's not gonna be talking. Fantasy football
is like, hey, what are you wearing? I mean, do
you want to make a trade.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
No, he's he's saying it was a quarterback Drake May.
He's saying first or second round, So good that early.
This isn't our first Rodeo.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
Hey, Tiger's favorite person. Nathan Perkins. Hey O, Ray's division
got Nathan Perkins.
Speaker 1 (29:55):
Welcome Natty.
Speaker 3 (29:57):
I want his team name to be the Perkins Pretties.
Here we go.
Speaker 1 (30:02):
Usually the winner of my division doesn't win the whole thing.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
Guys, so really, I don't think we've ever had Brendan Fry.
Speaker 3 (30:09):
Brendan Fry in there, Fry Fry, Guy Fry Guy Well
Fry a little bye man. We got three more names
to go in your division.
Speaker 2 (30:22):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (30:23):
That is Ryan Schlan Slan Schlong, Ryan schlanng Ray.
Speaker 1 (30:29):
It's spelled just like you think you would.
Speaker 3 (30:31):
It really is. Don't know.
Speaker 4 (30:36):
Uh, let me see some names I see on the
screen that have not gotten drawn.
Speaker 1 (30:39):
Austin have Justin's name on that, Justin Justin, he has
just my name.
Speaker 3 (30:47):
Sorry, put some respect on the man's name and his
dead dog. I didn't put his name on it. Jake Rant,
Austin Allison, Robbie Brown, Chad Instagram. Those all names I
see on the screen. You are not in.
Speaker 4 (31:02):
We have two names left to draw and raise division.
Here we go, man, Yeah, this guy's been in Austin
Blake Lacy been in.
Speaker 3 (31:14):
Recognize the name, Hey, bl Austin Blake Lacy, Pete Crow Armstrong. Yeah,
there we go.
Speaker 4 (31:21):
Now the last person that's gonna be in raised division
and then we will shuffle the names again.
Speaker 3 (31:26):
We will shuffle again. Branson Miller, Hey, Branson Miller, b Mill.
Never heard of him either. Man, it is getting weird.
Speaker 1 (31:37):
While you're switching over the next paper, do we gotta
take a break at some point.
Speaker 4 (31:40):
We're gonna take a break right now. That's what I
was trying to get to the end of the second division.
Speaker 1 (31:43):
And I got a small story about somebody just walked around.
Speaker 3 (31:46):
All right, we'll take a break. We'll be right back,
all right.
Speaker 2 (31:49):
So there's this guy that just walked around and I
guess he's the building inspector, if you will. And he
tells me that every morning before everybody gets here, he
tests every toilet, every faucet, he tests every light. And
then he said he walks down every stairwell and make
sure that there's no bums in any of the stairwells.
And I go, I go, oh really, and he goes, yep,
(32:11):
just something I do around here that nobody knows. I
was like, nice to meet you, but if you ever
seen him, he goes, and he does. He flushes every
toilet to make sure there's not a plumbing problem.
Speaker 1 (32:22):
Wow, he just walk by.
Speaker 3 (32:25):
With a wrint he Hey, does he check all the mics? Hey,
sound check? Okay, good? Oh that one's out. That one's out.
Speaker 1 (32:32):
He just walked by with a crow barter wrench. He's
tearing the butt out of some toilet.
Speaker 3 (32:37):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (32:38):
And then he goes. Then he got left me on
a sad note. He goes.
Speaker 6 (32:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
Then I go through all the stairwells, make sure there's
no homeless. If there are, I kick him out.
Speaker 3 (32:44):
I'm like, well, man, dude, don't Yeah, if it's air
conditioned and nicer, let him sleep, get a couple more winks.
Just tell me they got to be out by seven.
Speaker 1 (32:56):
Man.
Speaker 4 (32:56):
That's when the main drabic comes we. I mean, the
odds are going to run into us very low. Yeah,
it's when the main thoroughfare, when people start getting up
for real work. That's when you need to get him
out by.
Speaker 1 (33:05):
But yeah, just make sure they don't grab amy or abby.
Speaker 3 (33:08):
I mean, oh man, that's really funny.
Speaker 1 (33:15):
That's what he does, just walk by tools in hand.
Speaker 3 (33:17):
That's pretty funny. Hey, maybe we can get him on
the pod one day.
Speaker 1 (33:24):
Because he would say the exact same thing that I
just said. It's just as interesting. I was like, fascinating,
great dog. Have a good day, man, I have no idea.
Speaker 3 (33:33):
Somebody comes here and dusts off the pipes every morning
before we take a slit. Oh that one's good.
Speaker 4 (33:38):
Oh wait, since there's a little week before management gets
on the porcelain thrown everything has been tested.
Speaker 1 (33:46):
Thanks, man, really appreciate that. What that's a like, what
are we doing? What are we doing? Oh? Man, all right,
get back to it.
Speaker 4 (33:57):
Yeah, coach or Sloppy Joe here, I appreciate the fiftieth
birthday shout out you gave me a few weeks ago.
I entered the Sore Losers Fantasy Drawing because you probably
forgot you guaranteed my spot in the drawing. Refer to
the pod on six twenty six. It's okay. I know
you have three kids. Anyway, let's effing go. Can't wait
(34:18):
for Monday's show, Sore Losers Nation for Life. Please draw
my name Sarasota Joe.
Speaker 3 (34:24):
Now that's Sloppy Joe. Stephanie Allen.
Speaker 1 (34:27):
So we got him saying hurt, saying they're in.
Speaker 2 (34:30):
We got some guy that's a surgeon saying he's got
Master's tickets and he's in.
Speaker 4 (34:34):
Well, he doesn't have them, but he's willing to buy
them if he gets in because he has the funds.
And he didn't want to flex that he's a surgeon.
He said, he knows it's a douche move, but he
wanted to impress us.
Speaker 2 (34:44):
Well, I also love that you brought that to the
table to show how good of a guy you are
that you wouldn't accept some back end deal that we
would have for sure found out about.
Speaker 1 (34:52):
Hey man, how are you randomly going to the Masters
this year?
Speaker 3 (34:57):
Ray?
Speaker 1 (34:57):
I just drave his name. It's uh for sure in,
Uh surgeon? What guy? He's a for sure in this year?
That wasn't a malfunctioned Ray.
Speaker 3 (35:05):
He's in And then all of a sudden, you're just
walking to the Masters.
Speaker 1 (35:11):
We would have got we would have we would have
caught on.
Speaker 4 (35:13):
Yeah, well here, I mean, I'm gonna spin the wheel
for this is Bega's division. I forgot what they're gonna
be called. I have to go back to his email. If
he could email back in tell us what they're gonna
be called first person in surgeon Steve.
Speaker 3 (35:26):
Wow, surgeon Steve. It's not really him, dude.
Speaker 1 (35:32):
But also you can't it's I know, okay.
Speaker 3 (35:37):
Michael Gardner, Michael Gardiner, I wouldn't.
Speaker 2 (35:42):
Do need to sell your soul to the devil and
you need to accept master's tickets for a spot, dude.
Speaker 1 (35:46):
I mean, I mean that's like twenty thousand two.
Speaker 3 (35:48):
That would be amazing. That would be so amazing to
do that. Yeah, I wouldn't have read the email.
Speaker 1 (35:53):
You're a man of integrity.
Speaker 3 (35:54):
Man, No, I'm really not. Dude.
Speaker 4 (35:56):
Did you see I don't know if this story is real,
but did you do you see the golf story this weekend?
Speaker 1 (36:02):
I mean, if you've seen in your algorithm, I've probably
seen it. What was it?
Speaker 3 (36:05):
There was a in like Saint Louis.
Speaker 4 (36:08):
They were having their country club championship and they put
all this money in a pot and if you get
a hole in one.
Speaker 1 (36:15):
You made all got money of them or something.
Speaker 4 (36:17):
And this guy he's in the first tea time of
the you know day, and they're on the first hole
and he's like, hey, guys, just a heads up. I
am getting my My grandma's really sick in the hospital,
so I may have to take a call. Like if
I get that call, I got to take it. So
they're on the third green and he gets a call
(36:39):
and he's like, Hey, this is the call, guys. I'm
just going to run ahead and I'll hit my T
shot on number four. That way we can keep the
pace of play up. And the number four is a
par three and they come up and they're like, how'd
it go? And he's like, I don't know. I bladed
it or skimmed it. I know there's a divot on
(37:00):
the green, but I don't know. I gotta take this call.
And he goes and takes the call, and those guys
tee off, and then they go up there. They're like, dude,
you got a hole in one, hole in one, You
freaking got a hole in one. And so everybody celebrates,
and then after the round, other people are like, Ah,
that seems fishy, man, I don't know if that's that
(37:22):
it really happened. They review the freaking security camera cameras.
Earlier in the day, he knew he was in the
first T group, like the first group off, so he
parked his car by the maintenance shed went and made
a dibbot in the green and stuck a ball in
the freaking hole before he'd even teed off, and he
(37:44):
got busted.
Speaker 2 (37:45):
That would be like us planting the surgeon in our
fantasy football.
Speaker 3 (37:50):
How wild is that? And I don't even know if
it's true. Well, see, I saw a video of him celebrating. Yes, okay,
that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (38:00):
And then they he called in like a Kansas City
radio station, was like, look I got I cheated.
Speaker 3 (38:05):
I don't know why I did it.
Speaker 4 (38:06):
Like I can take the heat, but it's unfair to
go out to my wife and my two kids. I'm
about to celebrate five years of marriage and attacking them
is not Okay.
Speaker 3 (38:17):
I did it. I don't know why I did it.
I don't cheat it golf, but I don't know why
I did that.
Speaker 1 (38:24):
All right, back to fantasy football.
Speaker 3 (38:26):
Damn dude, just to get a hold. I mean, how
much was that pot?
Speaker 1 (38:31):
But how's granny?
Speaker 3 (38:33):
Granny wasn't real? Man? Just like Romo, I'm.
Speaker 1 (38:35):
Going to see Mom and pops.
Speaker 3 (38:37):
Chad Sutton. Chad Sutton is in. I mean, oh I
know what, Chad?
Speaker 1 (38:43):
Not sudden though you know what Chad.
Speaker 2 (38:46):
Yeah, Me and Baz are here because my friend Lauren Meltzer,
she married a Chad because it was one of the
Karen and Chad were supposedly the two tool names.
Speaker 3 (38:55):
Ah So when that happened, our friend was like, my
name's Chad.
Speaker 1 (38:59):
Awesome.
Speaker 3 (39:00):
Sucks.
Speaker 2 (39:00):
But it wasn't as bad as Karen. Karen was worse
because our one friend, Karen had to change your name
to Kiki.
Speaker 3 (39:06):
Oh, that's right. You haven't seen them in a while.
Speaker 1 (39:09):
The two kids are every country club.

Speaker 3 (39:31):
All right, here we go, Here we go.
Speaker 2 (39:35):

Speaker 3 (39:46):

hear their name called. We are more than halfway done.
