Speaker 1 (00:03):
We're gonna do it live. Oh the what dude, sore loser?
What up? Everybody?

Speaker 2 (00:13):
I am lunchbox. I know the most about sports, so
I'll give you the sports facts, my sports opinions, because
I'm pretty much a sports.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Genius, y'all.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
It is Sison from the West, Wyoming in particular, also
from Michigan, the North in particular.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
What's up, y'all?

Speaker 3 (00:32):
I live north of Nashville with Baser two point three acres,
two kids at Vanderbilt. I have a heart attack when
I'm seventy two. Justin Yes, he does have a dinghy.
He's probably on gun Lake. Later he'll be at the casino.
But he'd better be checking on those damn eggs at
Vanderbilt because they're defrosting. And Coach, I went right to
the intro because things are changing in the building. Why

(00:53):
not change all over over to you.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Yeah, man, we got a very important email, and I
don't know how to start it out, but it goes
like this free land chef forle No, that was going
to get to that in the email. Coachers, I've listened
to every episode of the pod since day one. Every
year I've wanted to come to the convention, and every
year your convention has had the audacity to be scheduled

(01:19):
on the exact same weekend as my annual take It
to Aruba birthday trip. This year, I announced that I
was skipping the beach to finally come to the convention
for the first time ever. Then I went to buy
a ticket and discovered you are sold out, which is
honestly good for you, bad for my ego.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
I am not mad.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
I am just dramatically sunburned, free and ticketless. Could you maybe,
in the future do a very loud, very clear, slightly
threatening public service announcement that tickets are limited and will
vanish fast, something like get your tickets now or cry later.
It would really help proactive like me. Thanks for many

(02:02):
lasts throughout the years. Maybe one day we'll coincide at
your convention. A very sad Veronica from Austin, and tell
Freeland Chevrolet that maybe I'll be there next year.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Coach, you got to get better reading these emails.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
No, I did pretty good until I got to the
proactive procrastinators. I thought I was pretty good. Veronica. I
don't know what website you're going to. We are not
sold out?

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Whoa it is? Not sold out.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
And as a matter of fact, early bird pricing is
going on right now. If you buy your ticket in
the month of July, you get it cheaper. August first,
they become more expensive. Why would you not buy it now,
start your payment plan now? Why would you wait till
August first and pay more money?

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Saw the memo and love to hammer things to the listeners,
But either they're gonna come or they're not.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
With me on that, I understand, But Veronica is under
the impression we were sold out. I don't know if
Veronica went to sore loosers dot com when she was drinking,
but to make sure I went to sore loosers dot
com when I got this email, and I clicked on
buy a ticket, and guess what happened. It allowed me
to buy a ticket. Didn't say sold out, So I

(03:20):
don't know if maybe she was just saying that because
she wants to come quote unquote, but she doesn't really
want to come quote unquote.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Yeah, they also sent me a link to some other website,
some stage pilot. Why would we post that when we
have a website, And they also sent me pictures of merchandise.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Is it available. Not yet.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Oh, we're gonna get samples in and then we're gonna.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
And guys, were listen, We're not gonna try and promote ourselves.
I'm not in the business of that. This is kind
of a Big Brother thing. This show has started. We
have not started watching it. I don't know if your
wife has been watching the live feeds. But a Big
Brother thing is where selling yourself, where you try and
pitch yourself. There's noises going in the hallway. It doesn't

(04:07):
matter though you try to pitch yourself to the other
house guests. Hey, don't evict me. Hey, I can be
great to your game. I can get you further you
try to pitch yourself. I feel like we're at a
point in our Big Brother game. We don't need to
pitch ourselves. You were on wheel of fortune. I have
one virtual tournament at an arena in Vegas at Papa Shot,

(04:30):
hoping I can win more. But guys, I don't think
we need to pitch ourselves. If you don't want to
go see that, there's not much more that we can do.
I mean, do you do you want us to do
you want us to get naked? I mean it's like
I don't know other than sexuality, how can we promote
ourselves any more than that. We're at the height of
our careers. If you don't want to come see us, don't.

(04:51):
My name is Benn, and I'm not and it is Paul.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
It's up to y'all. I'm not tall, it's up to y'all.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Yeah, I don't know. I'm not saying we're selling ourselves.
I just wanted to make sure that everybody knew, including Veronica,
that we are not sold out.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Oh, that was the whole point of this.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
That was the whole point of that email. Man, I've
just never been one. It also goes not to go
off on something else but beazers with brunch. Hey, let's
invite people to brunch. Hey, let's invite people to brunch. Hey,
would you want to have people I'm not one to
or even birthday parties. Hey, I'm going to invite a
bunch of people to your birthday. I'll tell people, Hey,
I'm going out on Broadway on my birthday. If you

(05:30):
want to join me, join me. I'm at a point
now I don't need to promote myself. I don't think
we need to go on the street corner like a
prostitute and promote our business. I really don't, and I'll
hang up and listen.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Well, maybe someone's tuning in for the first time. They
don't know who the convention is or I mean highly unlikely.
But it's a big get together in Nashville where we
discuss everything in life, including drinking and sports and more
life and then drinking. And these people become best friends,
and they travel around the world together, and they go

(06:05):
to birthday parties together, and they text throughout the year.
And then somebody works for somebody else's company. You know,
it's it's amazing.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
Will you send me the video of me and the
vehicle from Freelan Chevrolet?

Speaker 1 (06:21):
You mean the one I posted, Oh you did on
the Instagram? Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
Wow, We're already one step ahead. Now we can continue
the evolution. Now I need to put that they helped
me out and my car's back on the road.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Yes, And then we have another email.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Was U coachers? Nice reference from the seventies.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
I'll be rolling to CC six and my second convention
with a newborn baby that is due December.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
First.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
He will hang out at the hotel with the wife. Wow,
I take care of convention duties. It took a lot
of convincing my wife to allow this, but I will
be there. Can't wait for my second convention. I'm just
waiting for the add Ons peace out coaches see in
January January justin Morland.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
I think.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
I think that's like his twelfth kid.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
You've got to get better read in the emails. What
did I mess up there?

Speaker 3 (07:12):
You still don't read it as smoothly as bones like
when he reads the anonymous inbox, he nails it every
time that.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
I apologize, I'm not I'm not a professional reader. And
I realized that when I try to read stories to
my kids at night, I stumble over.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
Those like when my mom would read to me, which
even happened in middle school because I couldn't focus.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
She would be perfect.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
You couldn't read until middle school.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
No.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
I could read, okay, but I wouldn't be able to
do it by myself. So I just sit on the
couch on a Sunday and she'd read me one of
my like books that I had to do a book
report on. She never messed up a word. So when
you mess up a word, it just I know the
truckers probably don't even notice it.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
I mean, I get it.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
The truckers ain't necessarily reading romance novels. They're experiencing them
in person at those bookstores. But my point is this,
I'm just whenever you mispronounce a word when you're reading something,
it throws me off. So either you're off the emails
or we get somebody else in here to read them.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
I will send them to you from now on, and
you can't read them.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
No, no, no, no no no no no no. I'm not
good at reading. I understand that, I really. I mean,
my kids, even Tubby Dad Dad, mom reads it better.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
Okay, we go. I understand your mom reads it better.
Your mom.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
And it's hard when you're holding a kid's book and
you're trying to look at it upside that like over
the you screw up?

Speaker 1 (08:32):
What is it?

Speaker 2 (08:32):
Stanley goes to school, No, just different ones, and you
just like look over You're like and you're trying to
read it and they're trying to Oh dad, I can't
see it and they're trying to hold a picture, and
it's tough. I'm not a good reader. I'm not perfect
when I read. I mess up words out loud when
I'm trying to grip and rip. It's tough, and I'm

(08:53):
trying to read them fast because I don't want people
to get bored.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
Yeah, and also I can give you some slack because
are there misspellings in these emails.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
Probably Yeah, it's sore Loser's.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
Nation, so maybe we punch them up before we get
to him.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Also, it feels like there was a lot of horn
dogs after the convention last year because Morland had a baby.
He was here last year, Jesse he and they had
a baby and they're both doing December, so they were
right around the same time they got home from convention and.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
It was.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
And now say, some of that stuff is contagious, so
with dogs, cats, kids, And I believe Justin said he
was going to bring his brother this year. He made
me FaceTime him last year, so I know my Justin,
No Justin Morland, but I don't know if that's true. Wesley,
just I don't haven't heard from you. Are you going
to carpool? You guys live right by each other, You

(09:48):
and Justin, So what's going on?

Speaker 1 (09:50):
The most sorry we just said Justin. I had to
bring it up.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
The most mature message I've ever gotten from Justin before
ever he goes.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Dude, you got to put a case on your phone.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
No, it's nearing its end, so I took it off.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
That makes me nervous. I let me tell you. I
don't get nervous about a lot of things. But when
you don't have a case on your phone.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
I hate it.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
Like my wife would walk around with no phone case
and I'd be like, you are an idiot.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
But I will agree with you because you know your
phone's actually made it where it has to have a case.
As you'll see, where's my pinky.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
At the bottom.

Speaker 3 (10:26):
Yeah, it covers up those little holes. Those are the
talking holes. So without a case, you cover them up
all the time.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
Constantly. I'm on the phone with my parents. Hey, we
can't hear you. You're covering the bottom.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
Hey I do a cameo. Two minutes in I was
covering it with my pinky at the bottom. Oh so
jobs didn't tell us that. Steve Cook didn't tell us this.
Tim Cook didn't tell us this. You have to have
a case for your phone.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
Question when you're doing the cameo, do you go left
hand or right hand?

Speaker 3 (10:54):
Well, this morning left hand did it on the patio
with screaming. Hilarious bit covering the whole thing with my
pinky to redo the whole thing.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
It was all muted. That sucks. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
See, I do cameo and I do like a minute
in the left hand and then I'm like, all right, tired,
switch to the right hand.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
But the reason I realized why I'm good for the
YouTube is because YouTube is hamburger and it's and I
record it like this.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
Yeah, so it's not covering those little holes at the
very bottom. Who knew that they were your audio?

Speaker 2 (11:18):
Smart We really got to get these cameras up and
running because our YouTube has really been slacking.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
No, they said, we got I think it was two
new followers for the month of June.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
Not bad, not bad.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
And I don't think we've put up a single video
since then.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
Holy ray, we went parabolic stock term. I don't know
what that means, dude.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
When a stock is about to go, it goes parabolic.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
Really.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
Yeah, so there's a little stock advice for you. How
did does someone say? Is that what they write? They go, hey, man,
gotta get on the stock quick, it's about to go paarabolic.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
It's now with the algorithms, they just find out what
you want. I'm sure you have nothing but spurs content
on yours. Me and kids. Me, I are adult parenting
me mine nothing but stocks, and it'll be like this
guy will be like, hey, guys, I just got a
call from my friend.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
He's in the government.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
Tomorrow SpaceX goes parabolic, which means parabolic is like we're
just jumps. It would go from eight to ten to twelve.
It's like a parabola. So it's just like here's the
up and here's the side.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
Hold on what is a parabola.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
It's like this shape like a you like kind of
a in it. Like remember our algebra geometry, Yeah, I
remember algebra not having shapes correct geometry. I failed geometry.
So a version of mibola is where a stock is
just going. It's obviously a stock's not gonna go that,
but it's like boom, boom boom.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
When it's like super jumpy, just going parabimic, skyrocketing blisk it, yes, skyrocking.
But in stock terms, they always say watch out tomorrow,
it's gonna go parabolic.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
And I get ten of those every morning, ten of
them never hit.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
You're telling me that some ttok or whatever you're looking at.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
I don't know. And they say parabolic, it's not really
spot on.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
I'll read the comments and people be like, uh, yeah,
the last five times you've said this, it hasn't happened.
But he'll have reach tweets and likes, and so any
dummy would just see it and go.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
Oh my gosh, gotta buy it. Tesla Stock's gonna go
parabolic tomorrow. I gotta buy and it never does anything
and probably drops.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
Huh.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
I never knew that. I never heard of a stock
going parabolic. I've never tuned into the you know, five
o'clock news or whatever, the business news on what is
that channel, CNBC A NBC. They've never I've never seen
them going. Guys, this just in, Oh my goodness, SpaceX
is going parabolic.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
Guys, sore losers. Convention tickets going parabolic. Hey, we get
word from stage pilot. Shit, you don't even prompt her
and she goes guys, ticket sales just went parabolic.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
Oh my gosh, I know what that means. Yes, and so, guys,
I mean, I understand you're waiting for the add ons,
but you might as well start your payment plan now
because the payment the uh add ons were supposed to
go on sale today. I don't know if they are
because we haven't heard back from the preds.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
And nobody be too good for it, because when that
was the greatest creation. I don't know if ours is
called pay after the version of that where you pay
every month.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
Yeah, it's so smart.

Speaker 3 (14:20):
When I first started dating Baser, that's how I paid
for her Christmas gifts. You would pay thirty dollars a month,
and it would it would she would have a Christmas
gift and I continue to pay months after the fact.
But you could pay after. Phenomenal. It's a layaway a
version of it. Yeah, don't be too good for it. Yeah,
there's no shame. Why wouldn't you do it?

Speaker 1 (14:40):
Well, nobody knows. Baser never knows unless she listens to
this that I paid.

Speaker 3 (14:44):
For twenty fourteen and twenty fifteen Christmas gifts and birthday.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
We're definitely pay after. Wow. And she's like, dang, why
do you have so many bills in March?

Speaker 3 (14:54):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (14:54):
You know March madness? And uh, you're a Christmas present?
You know you pay after. Just kick the can down
the line.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
Yeah, and you could also get credit cards at Macy's
and then you wouldn't have to pay for the Christmas,
gift before Christmas.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
Pay after. Huh.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
So there's all kinds of stuff like that that exists.
It's a good idea. My wife's birthday is in November.
Maybe I'll pay after. But the only problem if I
pay after, then it's Christmas, and then I pay that
after and then I'm screwed. So I think our version
of sore losers pay after would be they could get
the early bird pricing correct, okay, and then they're not
necessarily going to pay the full price. Now no, no,

(15:31):
they pay like five dollars a week.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
Okay, there you go. So I mean I don't know why.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
Okay, I don't think it's been explained to people, because
that actually sounds like a good idea for me right now. Yeah, Like,
why can't you do that with flights? Why can't you
do that with hotel? You know how much more money
they would make.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
I believe there's one.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
I don't know what flight it is, what which one was?
The spirit They would be the opposite of parabolic. They
went diabolic, now that that is it?

Speaker 1 (15:55):
It is it? Maybe they went metabolic.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
Diabolic is like ool, right, diabolical? That might be the
opposite of parabolic. Diabolic.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
That's pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
I can't you just thought of that. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
I don't know what airline it is, but I know
that I've logged in and I've said, okay, let me pay,
and they're like, would you like to pay in the installments?
It costs a little bit more money because they charge
you a percentage or whatever interest I guess is what
they call it. Yeah, but yeah, that's that. And let
me tell you something really stupid.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
Can I tell you something stupid after the break? Okay,
I'll tell you. I tell you right after the break.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
My sister is gonna come visit right for the convention,
no before the convention, okay. And she booked her airline,
Southwest Airlines, right and she's supposed to fly in on
a Sunday, stay till the next Sunday. She's bringing the kids,
gonna have a grand old time. And then she's like, Hey,

(16:57):
I know you're gonna kill me, but fly until Monday.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
That should work well with the Bobby Bone show.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
She was like, because her daughter, my niece, has her
bridging up ceremony where she goes from Bridgerton maybe Brownies
to Girl Scouts or Girl Scouts to Brownies. I don't
know the levels, but I know that she's moving up

(17:26):
a level in the Girl Scouts organization.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
She's leveling up. Yeah, she's bridging up.

Speaker 2 (17:32):
And I was like, oh, no, no big deal. I'll
just I'll switch your flight for you. Don't worry about it.
And I go online and I go to Southwest dot Com.
I log into my sister's account because she's busy, she's
always busy. She got you know, stuff going on. So
I go in there and I type it up. Says yeah,
flights on Monday, same exact price as the same as Sunday.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
So I'm my great.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
I go modify flight, need to change the outgoing flight
from Austin to Nashville. And it's like it's going to
be forty dollars more per person. Like no, I just
went to Southwest dot com and typed in flights for
that Monday and it was two hundred dollars a seat,
the same exact one as on Sunday. Let me try

(18:22):
this again, all right, go back in change flight. I
want to change to Monday at twelve o'clock, get into
Nashville at two. It'll be forty dollars more per person.
Might the website must be down, so I call one
eight hundred iflyswa.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Oh crib you had time to go on the internet.
You're calling the customer service. How much time you got
in the afternoons?

Speaker 2 (18:49):
Well this was all in about a five minute Spaneez,
I'm just telling it slower so that way we can
fill up the pod.

Speaker 3 (18:58):
Yeah, I got stories, So I don't know why if
I hear one more time, there's forty dollars more, I
get it, forty dollars more.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
No, no, no, but it literally says that it's two hundred dollars,
but they're trying to charge me for the next fare up.
The story makes no sense because why is your sister
not doing this because she was at work.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
They don't have the internet. I don't know. I was
like a brother her.

Speaker 3 (19:22):
When my brother works at the sawmill, they don't have
the internet for like twelve hours.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
We haven't heard from your brother.

Speaker 3 (19:27):
He doesn't have cell reception for fourteen hours during the
middle of the day. Who isn't allowed on their cell
phone during the middle of the day. Oh, at the
lumber mill.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
It's right, there's no service.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
It's not that my sister couldn't do it. This is
the problem with my sister society. No, she says she's
gonna do something and then she waits three or.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
Four days ray she's computer. No, she's not computer. Oh
well you were about to say that. Why was she
not on it?

Speaker 2 (19:54):
She was at work and she was going into a meeting.
And then if she gets out of the meeting, she's
gonna drive home to pick up the kids. And I
just know the snowball effect that happens with my sister.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
Then four days.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
Later she's like, oh, I still got to change my flight.
Then by then it's gone up one hundred and fifty dollars,
so she puts it off right. So it's in your blood,
it's in our DNA because.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
I told you.

Speaker 3 (20:17):
I told you to send that video Freelan Chevrolet like
a week and you never did.

Speaker 1 (20:20):
I posted it. That's crazy.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
Yes, I posted it on the Instagram. I'm glad you
said that because I would have double posted it to me.
I posted it and I tagged Freeland Oh amazing.

Speaker 1 (20:32):
I mean, I don't know we were in with the boys. Goodness.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
So anyways, so I call one eight hundred, I fly
SWA and HI, this is Cindy. I thank you for
calling Southwest. How can I help you? Yes, ma'am, I
think your website's messed up because my sister has this
flight booked on a Sunday and I'm just trying to
switch it to the Monday, and online it says it's

(20:57):
the exact same price, but when I go to change it,
it is trying to charge me forty dollars per person.
She goes, do you have that reservation number. I'm like, yeah,
it's four P two z icup. Hey I She goes, okay, oh, yes,
I see you have purchased. She has purchased the basic fare.

(21:21):
To switch the basic fare to another flight, you have
to pay for the next level up ticket level up.
I'm like, oh, well that seems weird. Yeah, basic fair,
you can't switch to another basic fair. Oh okay, but
what if I cancel this flight? Do I get all

(21:43):
the money in the account for future travel funds?

Speaker 1 (21:47):
Yeah? Absolutely.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
That's the one thing at Southwest is we give you
full credit whenever you cancel a flight.

Speaker 1 (21:52):
Hell of a pitch, thank you, I said, so.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
I could literally just cancel the flight and then go
back to the homepage and rebook the flight for the
same price on that Monday if that's what you would
choose to do, you can't do that, sir.

Speaker 1 (22:08):
My chicken would have done that already, should have known.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
So I was like, all right, cool, thanks. So I
cancel a flight and then go to Southwest dot com,
refresh the page, book flight, change it to the Monday
same price as it was on Sunday. They make you
jump through a loop instead of charging just saying hey,
switch it, Oh, no, forty dollars person, forty dollars a person.
They make you think you're crazy, and then you call

(22:32):
and they say, oh, just cancel it and rebook it.

Speaker 3 (22:34):
Possible to play Devil's dilat So why wife does flights,
hotels all that?

Speaker 1 (22:40):
Guys, I've experienced. I'm knowledgeable with a lot of stuff.

Speaker 3 (22:42):
I don't know Uber, I don't know uber Eats, I
don't know open Table, I don't know hotels dot com,
I don't know flights dot com, Southwest dot com.

Speaker 1 (22:48):
Baser does all that.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
So what if they have that fee there so that
you don't cancel and you lose your flight. Maybe it's
just a coverage, like if you will it's a condom
so that you don't lose it.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
What if it's a popular flight and you'll lose it.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
I look, there was all fares were available, the basic,
next level, next level, next level they had, and it
didn't say, oh three seats remaining. It looked like it
was wide open. So why if it is wide open,
do they not just allow you to switch it? Why
do they make you go through the hoop of cancel
and then boom? And then when you're checking out, it's like,

(23:24):
how do you want to play gift card, cash and points,
travel funds?

Speaker 1 (23:29):
Yep, let me use travel funds.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
Then you gotta go click, put the reservation number, put
the person's name, and guess how much the total came
out to when I rebooked it. Zero dollars because it
was the exact same price. See, I wish that lady
would have been real with you. I hate how she's
a robot. Yes, if that's how you decide to do it,
that will.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
Be fine, dude.

Speaker 3 (23:47):
When I was at ground a communications selling cable phone
and internet, what's up, y'all?

Speaker 1 (23:51):
This is Ray Mundo.

Speaker 3 (23:52):
How can I help you on a communications tablephone and internet?
We get home with the Big Three. We can get
it to you all for thirty nine ninety nine. I
would always be real with them. I'd be like, hey,
don't worry that much about UFC one hundred. If there
is any issue, literally call us on Monday, and we
always give refunds partial. Yes, but it's not worth worrying
about right now. So I would level with them, and sure,

(24:12):
I kind of like that. Yeah, So I never did
company speak, And sometimes it'd be like, wait, so do
I have to connect the phone.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
I'm gonna be real with you.

Speaker 3 (24:20):
It confuses everybody for whatever reason, just to get the
deal you have to connect the phone. You don't have
to have a phone, you don't even have to have
a line. We just call it connecting the phone. It
makes no sense, but it's just like some company thing
we do. Oh okay, cool. I would just always level
with the people.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
I do like that.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
It's sort of like when we had the ice storm
here a few months back and I lost cable on
the internet, and it was probably for a good two
and a half three weeks that I didn't have cable
or internet, and it was actually awesome, Like not having
cable sucked a little bit, but it was really awesome
because the kids did not fight as much. They fight
over what to watch and when you turn the TV off,

(24:57):
it rots their brains. They get mad at each other.
But I needed internet. I was tired of not having
an internet.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
How did you do show stuff?

Speaker 2 (25:04):
I had to do my hot spot on my phone. Okay,
my wife taught me how to do that. So I
call and I'm like, hey, like, I'm trying to report.
This is the third time I've tried to report it.
And she goes, oh, yeah, I'm seeing mass outage in
your area. So it's not going to let me do
the individual report.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
I have to report an internet burglary.

Speaker 2 (25:27):
Frustrated, I said, but can you give me an estimate
on when it's going to be back up? She goes, Unfortunately,
with a mass outage, I'm not allowed to. She goes,
but what I would do is I would just switch companies.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
I don't know if that's from the company Hambo.

Speaker 2 (25:44):
I'm like, come again, She said, yeah, I know this
is on a recorded line, but I would make them
earn your business back.

Speaker 1 (25:51):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
I'm like, oh, she goes, if that was me, I'm
just telling you, how would I would do? I'd be like,
you know what, you guys can't tell me a day
in a time, I'll just switch company, and you're gonna
have to give me a heck of a deal if
I'm gonna come back to you guys. And I was like, oh, okay, yeah,
I think that's probably your best option.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
And make sure you use the keyword disconnect.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
That way it triggers, and then our department will call
you back. She goes, and make sure you give them
give me a five star rating when you get an
email survey. And I was like, all right, have a
great day. Guess what next day they were out there
fixing it.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
That could have been the fame card, No, no question.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
Do you think they heard her saying that and we're like,
oh my god, we gotta go fix it. Or was
it just a coincidence?

Speaker 1 (26:37):
No, no, no, it was potential disconnect. I didn't necessarily do.

Speaker 3 (26:40):
There might be technological advances now, but I know we
would take notes during calls and if it ever said
potential disconnect, disco disconnect, unhappy, then we'd have a retention
department and they would step in boom do this. Now
they probably have AI that can hear those words disconnect
and they're like, okay, audit this, okay, that guy's unhappy,

(27:01):
let's get it let's check that guy.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
Is he a great customer? Okay?

Speaker 3 (27:05):
Does that trigger a truck? Don't know, but for sure
a call and they definitely look at it.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
I mean it was amazing.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
I mean literally next day, I mean I get home
work and they're in the freaking alley working on it.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
I'm like, really, let me just say this, that's famous people.
You can you can get some electricity quicker than other people.

Speaker 1 (27:22):
But I don't think here's the thing.

Speaker 2 (27:24):
If it was no, no, no, I know that a
k instance though maybe the lady knew you.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
Maybe she was like in another state. Oh okay, but
I just know locally.

Speaker 2 (27:35):
It's not like I was calling a local company. I
was calling a one eight hundred number and she was
in her house. You could hear the dogs barking.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
Well, they didn't trigger something, for sure. It's freaking awesome. Hey,
I gotta tell you about the Hoover Dam.

Speaker 2 (27:48):
We'll take a break and we're gonna travel to the
Hoover Dam.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
Right back.

Speaker 3 (27:53):
There's gonna be stuff that trickles out over the next
six months. You go to Vegas for three days and
you have three months worth of the Don't worry, Garrett's
there right now is he really? Yeah, he's in Vegas
right now for what the open?

Speaker 4 (28:07):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (28:07):
Like, what sports are going on the World Cup? There's
one game left?

Speaker 2 (28:14):
Isn't there two games? Well, there's a third place game
if you want to watch that. But I I asked him,
I said, why are you going to Vegas? He goes, man,
our son is at sleep away camp this week, and
so I just looked at my wifes like we should
go somewhere. So we puked the little three Nights in Vegas.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
Hmm.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
I was like, wow, tropical, that's legit and a play
place for adults. And he texted me a picture of
the sports book yesterday with the screens with the World
Cup on, and he said, I said, how much were
the chairs?

Speaker 1 (28:46):
See?

Speaker 2 (28:47):
Sports books have gotten stupid because there's no free chairs.
Everything you have to pay for Easter. You just go
sit down and watch games.

Speaker 1 (28:54):
Would know? Baser said, you can go into the casino.

Speaker 3 (28:58):
No sports book couldn't even tell you what the luxor
sportsbook looks like.

Speaker 1 (29:03):
They have one? They have one.

Speaker 3 (29:05):
Didn't walk in Wow, I mean there were no sports
going on. What wasn't gonna watch Wimbledon.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
Probably or come on Federer like you gonna watch World Cup.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
Vegas time. I don't even know if there were any
games going on.

Speaker 2 (29:21):
Way, yeah, while you're there, there's automatically games because they're
every day. Were every day they were on the plane,
people were watching exactly. Games were on every day. So
I guarantee you there was World Cup games on why
you were there. But anyway, he said it was a
seventy five dollars minimum.

Speaker 1 (29:37):
To sit in a chair in the sports book. What
has happened to them?

Speaker 2 (29:40):
That's what I'm saying. It used to be like, hey man,
I'm gonna bet on these horses. I'm gonna sit down here,
bet two dollars, get some drinks.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
Now it's hey man.

Speaker 2 (29:49):
To sit here. It's all reserved one hundred and fifty dollars.
But you can't even the sports book used to be
so much fun. Now they're just they suck.

Speaker 3 (29:57):
It used to be where South Beach he's an expert
on all this. We would go to Blagio and that
he would know the sports books that give you free
drink tickets when you bet on horses. So South Beach
would bet on the cheapest horse you could. You just
had to bet a favorite, and he'd be and you
get free to drink tickets and you go sit down
with those two drinks and you can child there.

Speaker 1 (30:18):
For thirty forty five minutes. You could bring your own
booze in. We never did.

Speaker 3 (30:22):
But there would be a guy strung out from the
night before, and there'd be a couple of little mini
airplane bottles laying next to him, and you'd have a
usher come by and say, hey, come on, man, come on,
get out.

Speaker 2 (30:32):
Of he gotta wake up, gotta wake up. No sleeping
on sports book.

Speaker 1 (30:34):
But they didn't care about us. We were betting on
our favorite horse and we had free drinks and.

Speaker 2 (30:39):
Excalibur, Oh my god. We would bet two dollars a
horse and we'd get two drink tickets every single horse.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
So we know it. And we would just sit there.

Speaker 2 (30:50):
And now it's like, oh, sorry, seventy five dollars minimum, Well,
how about my free drinks for what I just uh oh,
that didn't count towards my minimum. That I just bet
seventy five dollars on this baseball game, that baseball game
that Budy's bagget. Now that doesn't matter really, So it's
more important than I spend seventy five dollars on drinks
than Actually it's been.

Speaker 1 (31:07):
Even the gambling.

Speaker 2 (31:09):
No, who's gonna eat seventy five dollars in food when
they're gambling and their buttles puckered?

Speaker 1 (31:16):
Food or drinks?

Speaker 2 (31:17):
You? When I'm puckered, I ain't putting down nachos. I
can barely walk when I bet you used to have
hundreds on the game, seventy five dollars minimum? Uh, would
you like some nachos and pizza? No, I'm betting the
Yankees that we're down two to nothing. I'll take a vodka.
Hold the soda.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
Geez dude.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
Yeah, man, I mean Garrett's there right now, and I'm
a little bit jealous, and I'm just like, how has
the world gone to where the sportsbook charge you for
every single chair?

Speaker 3 (31:46):
And they're gonna make it where people don't even go
in there the kiosks and they charge you for seats. Yeah,
and you can bet from your phone.

Speaker 2 (31:53):
They make it now where you can download an app
you don't even have to go to the kiosks. Let
me tell you what's annoying is when you try to
walk in and they have those guys there at the front, Hey,
have you signed up for our mobile app.

Speaker 3 (32:02):
I don't watch your mobile app. Don't worry. Baser gives
me the song and dance. Hey, no going into the
sports book, and I go, okay, I one hundred percent
not going to the sportsbook.

Speaker 1 (32:12):
What do you know?

Speaker 3 (32:13):
The devil found me. I got those people with dang
iPads going around.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
You want to bet, I say, get away from me, devil.
I mean they were hunting me and scuba down because
nobody was going into the sports book. Nobody.

Speaker 3 (32:28):
But yeah, they're they're kind of ruthless. They travel in packs,
o dude.

Speaker 2 (32:32):
And they do not stop. And then they're like, oh,
it's so easy, and we did it one time. We're
there and there, Oh you get three free drinks if
you sign up. I'm like, oh hell yeah, whoa really, Well,
here's the problem. Then they were so stupid it took
them an hour to sign us up.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
An hour. That's an hour. You're not going to get
back the saxophone.

Speaker 2 (32:49):
Oh my god, we walked around. We wasted a damn
hour at that counter. Now about the damn Hoover. Damn,
That's where I'm going, So get out of the sports
book and get to the Hoover. Damn.

Speaker 3 (33:00):
The lady the local Las Vegas station. Yeah, we're on
Fremont Street. We need to visit that station more and
do co stuff with them. So we're sitting there, chilling
in this restaurant right next to the Fremont, right next
to the radio station.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
Yeah, I got a card. I'm not gonna give it
to the losers.

Speaker 3 (33:17):
They'll try pulling the convention back to Vegas. It's tough, tough.
It's tough for us to come out there without losing
our asses. Yeah, but the key is this. So the
lady goes, hey, we're sitting at brunch. It's us. There's
like another part of the brass, this one lady. She's
upper management. Wayne d was there. Huh, midday guy here, you.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
Guys were hanging out. He was just happening to be
in Vegas the same time. So you guys had lunch. Yeah,
we had brunch. Huh, hilarious.

Speaker 3 (33:44):
They were all flights of Mimosa's. I got a mimosa
and I thought I was being dangerous. They got flights
where they bring four little mini mimosas. There were flights
all over. There was so many dang flights and mimosas
on the table. I thought we were back at Vegas
Harold International.

Speaker 2 (33:59):
Yeah, we're not even talking about the airplanes. We're talking
about real flights.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
And then did anybody order a mixed drink? No?

Speaker 3 (34:05):
I believe it was just nothing but flights in my mimosa,
having a good old time. And the lady goes, hey,
so I want to know your take on this. The
lady goes just met her very nice.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
Okay, I mean, has she ever heard of the pod? Friendly?
Is a button?

Speaker 2 (34:18):
She ever listened to pod?

Speaker 1 (34:19):
Oh? Knew us? All? Okay, yeah, there was no questions.

Speaker 3 (34:22):
Yeah, And she goes, hey, do you guys want to
go to the Hoover Dam. And we go, well, we
got this basketball tournament that we're playing in. We're doing
that all day, but tomorrow morning we're wide open. And
she goes, hey, I would love to take you guys
twenty five minutes from right here to the Hoover Dam.
I'll take you in my car.

Speaker 1 (34:42):
It's only twenty five minutes, yep.

Speaker 3 (34:44):
And she said, I have a brand new car. You
literally can take a nap. I'll take you to the
Hoover Dam, take pictures, you do YouTube videos. Twenty five
minutes back from the Hoover Dam. Have you here by
ten am? In your flights two hours later?

Speaker 2 (34:59):
My question, and maybe I'm ignorant, is the Hoover Dam
just cool because it's a big dam?

Speaker 1 (35:06):
That's what I was trying to get out.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
I got an eyelash in my eye, so I wanted
to know exactly what was it was about.

Speaker 1 (35:12):
I said, so, what is it like?

Speaker 3 (35:13):
Is it just like a sewage spill or is it
just cool because it's a lot of gushing water.

Speaker 1 (35:19):
You got the Grand Canyon, but this dam? Is it
just like damn? It?

Speaker 3 (35:24):
Just what? What is it exactly spewing from that dam?

Speaker 1 (35:29):
You know?

Speaker 3 (35:30):
And so we didn't really get to that. They had
They were like, you'll see it in person. So me
and Scuba were presented with the Hoover Dam.

Speaker 1 (35:37):
Heck yeah.

Speaker 3 (35:39):
So the next day she's gonna put She goes, I
don't care how much you drink. She goes, I can.

Speaker 1 (35:46):
Grab you guys. You can be hungover. We're going to
Hoover Dam. Man, this is great.

Speaker 2 (35:50):
So I hit up Scooba and I'm like, hey, dude,
let's go do this Hoover Dam for the YouTube and stuff.

Speaker 1 (35:55):
I think it'll be good.

Speaker 2 (35:56):
Absolutely, that's great content. I'd love to see you guys
at the Hoover Dam.

Speaker 3 (35:59):
Lady couldn't not be nicer, even so nice that she
helped me up with the hotel this next weekend, really
for free?

Speaker 1 (36:09):
Where are you staying Circa? What? That's how nice she is?

Speaker 2 (36:18):
What did you say Circaa?

Speaker 1 (36:22):
Oh my god? Is that the one with the big
TV in the water? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, and so yeah,
that's a step up from the Luxer.

Speaker 3 (36:31):
She's making fun of us, She's like, you guys are
stand the Luxer. I got connection is to Circa. What's
the other spot? She said she could do not because
it's at the Palms, the events at the Palms, and
she has connections to Circa and.

Speaker 1 (36:43):
Not Mandalay Bay. What's another one? Uh? I know why
you're thinking Mandalay Bay.

Speaker 3 (36:49):
No, Maayser already joked about that. She goes, oh, you're
not booking Mandalay Bay this weekend? It's another one. I
can't think of it. I'll probably think of it another day.

Speaker 1 (37:00):
Encore, dude, that is amazing.

Speaker 3 (37:02):
Yeah, she's got a connection this to a couple of
them that's neither here nor there. So I go Scuba
Boom Hoover Dam flight ain't til two, but do his
damn damn Scuba, would you have done this?

Speaker 2 (37:15):
I mean I'd have checked out the Hoover Dam just
because I've never been.

Speaker 1 (37:17):
I didn't rize.

Speaker 2 (37:18):
There was only twenty five minutes. And it's not like
you guys are gambling that much, so yes, you have
a lot of downtime.

Speaker 1 (37:26):
Scuba is something about he has to drive.

Speaker 3 (37:30):
Oh, here we go, and he didn't want to ride
in essentially a stranger's vehicle twenty five miles to a
dam that's potentially a little damn dangerous. So he didn't
even consider the idea.

Speaker 2 (37:46):
He'll get in an uber with a random person, but
he won't drive in a car with somebody.

Speaker 3 (37:52):
It was leaving Vegas for a thirty minute ride, not
having control.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
With the lady was gonna dump his body over the
He just didn't know her that well.

Speaker 3 (38:03):
Maybe if we had a longer brunch, maybe if there'd
have been he was he was talking more to the
other parts of the brass. Maybe he just didn't know
this lady at all, and maybe he's just like that
with strangers from childhood.

Speaker 1 (38:12):
I don't know trauma.

Speaker 3 (38:13):
If you will, Yeah, but we were like I was like, damn, dude,
we're out on the dam.

Speaker 1 (38:19):
So we turned down the free trip to the Hoover Dam.
Well maybe this weekend.

Speaker 3 (38:25):
I could, but I think that's more basketball. And I'm
getting in late and I'm leaving early.

Speaker 1 (38:32):
Oh are you getting in late Friday? Yeah? Ah, so
I don't even really think it's on the table.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
Dang, that's cool that you got to go up and
get a you got to get a spot at the
Circa and look at the pool and be on the TV.

Speaker 3 (38:47):
But probably seventy five dollars and what am I gonna
be watching Wimbledon.

Speaker 2 (38:52):
World Cup the Open third place match on Saturday?

Speaker 1 (38:56):
Do you see Rory's interview? No, this guy, this reporter.
They're getting ready for the Open. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (39:02):
He goes, hey, man, your legacy like in a hundred years,
I mean you won't be around anymore, you'll be dead.

Speaker 1 (39:09):
But like what what he said that? What do you think?

Speaker 3 (39:13):
What do you like in a hundred years? What what
do you people are saying about? You do care about
your legacy? I mean you won't be around, but what And.

Speaker 2 (39:21):
Rory goes, ah, yeah, I don't really give me an accent.

Speaker 1 (39:24):
Ah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't know no nah.

Speaker 3 (39:29):
Oh Scottish, Ah, I don't really care about my legacy. Uh,
like you said, I'll be dead, I'll be six feet under.
I'm not really gonna be able to hear what people
are saying about me because I'm going to be physically dead.

Speaker 1 (39:42):
So yeah, you're right, I won't be around. I'll be dead.

Speaker 2 (39:44):
So yeah, I don't care what people are gonna say.

Speaker 1 (39:46):
What I'm dead. It was the best. I mean, what
is that these interviewers are wilding out? What an angle? Man?
What an angle? A hundred years? Man, You're going to
be dead. You're going to be dead.

Speaker 2 (40:00):
Oh pegs, dude, what about the new modern science? I
might still be around you son of a hey, hey
in fifty In fifty years, you know what I mean?
Odds are you're gonna be a goner. You're gonna be
a goner.

Speaker 1 (40:11):
So uh listen here you can report.

Speaker 2 (40:14):
Or what if I got some amazing doctor with stem
cells and PRP.

Speaker 1 (40:18):
Dude?

Speaker 2 (40:19):
My question is just a sportsbook open extra early because
the open will be on like it'll be like three
in the morning.

Speaker 1 (40:26):
There, I can't go in it. Oh crap, I'm going
to circu I can't go in the water. The sports
book's in the water. No, the sports book is.

Speaker 2 (40:35):
Like a stadium seating, but they have it upstairs on
the pool. They have the lounges and everything. They booked
me at a hotel. That's the world's biggest sportsbook.

Speaker 1 (40:48):
It's gonna be.

Speaker 4 (40:48):
A tad more tempting than the luxer in this ironic.
I don't know how the song goes, but just a
little iron it. Oh my gosh. All right, I have
a good Wednesday, guy. Sorry, the add ons are not
available today. The Preds have not hit us back, and
there's one other company that has not hit us back.

Speaker 2 (41:07):
So we are trying to finalize. We've been trying. I'm
telling you, guys, we've been on top of it this year.
Please forgive us for our sins.

Speaker 1 (41:15):
Amen. I'll talk to Freeland. Man. Maybe we can do
just a gathering.

Speaker 3 (41:20):
At the parking lot party, well, at the at the
like the service bay.

Speaker 2 (41:24):
That would be great, dude, that'd be great. Have a
great Wednesday, guys, doubleheader tonight. We out do you washing
World Cup yesterday? Man, you know it didn't teach you
anything Spain and Italy and Bappe. Well, it teaches us
this that we always do this. We make the same
mistake in sports over and over and over again. And

(41:46):
it's a time, a tale as old as time. Everybody
loves flashy offense. Oh my god, look at that. The
offense is unstoppable. And then when it gets down to it,
you realize defense wins championships. That's and we should have
seen it all along. We should have bet the house
on Spain. We should have known that defense was gonna

(42:08):
shut them down like no tomorrow. But no, we're too idiot,
you know. Oh my god, himbape. Oh look at this
they got. Oh yeah, oh, they got so much fancy
on the offense.

Speaker 1 (42:20):
Defense wins Man, Defense wins Fountain Blue.

Speaker 2 (42:24):
Oh both really nice, man, both really nice.

Speaker 1 (42:27):
Man.

Speaker 2 (42:28):
I'm gonna need to get that contact. Man, can you
pass that over?

Speaker 1 (42:32):
Baser Quote of the year.

Speaker 3 (42:33):
Man, oh, you're not booking Mandolay Bay
