Ray spent his Friday night in a Walmart parking lot while BAE had a fancy dinner with the girls. Lunchbox had to teach BabyBox a life lesson about thinking you're going to lose before you even play the game and how that only losers think that way. Plus Lunchbox's kids got to see a guy puke in public for the first time and they think he got sick on something that will make you laugh. Ray and Lunchbox share their puking in public stories and we draw for draft position in the Bega's Ballers Division of The Sore Losers Fantasy Football League!

Speaker 1 (00:00):
We are the Sore Losers podcast to spin off of
The Bobby Bone Show. It is exactly twenty eight days
until the two thousand and twenty seven Sore Losers Convention
in Nashville, Tennessee, brought to you.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
By Freeling Chevrolet.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Gotta do lunch with those guys this week. I may
need to bring you with me.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
I'm in dude. I love food, I love to eat,
and I do for sure enjoy lunch.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Well, Richard does ask and Lewis they say, hey, you
should bring lunch by one of these times. He pays, though, Well.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
That's fine. I mean, I don't mind that at all,
and I don't mind going. You just have never invited me.
You've always said, hey, man, these are my people.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Well you also know with our schedule, just like this
email chain we're on, They're like, hey, when do you
guys want to do a meeting on September ninth? And
we're like, great question, what time can we tell them?
In a four hour window.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
We are gonna be like the repair man for the dishwasher.
We will be there between noon and four pm. Just
sit tight and we will try to get to you
as soon as possible. But we will give you a
call thirty minutes ahead of time when we're on our way.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
And guy, guys, everybody truckers, you guys can complain about
your jobs. Yeah, but my wife learned it firsthand. I
could be home at ten thirty, beautiful. I could be
home at noon, I could be home at one two.
It is never inexact by the minute that I come
home from work.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Never. There is no set like you guys you clock
out at five o'clock, or you clock out at three o'clock,
like you're five to three. Whatever it is. Everybody has
different hours. I've come to realize that I used to
think it was all nine to five. Growing up, you're
led to believe that nine to five is a normal
work hour. People go to work at all hours. It's crazy. So,

(01:55):
but we just don't have a set in time, like
we have a set start time, but the end time
is tbd. Everybody asked me, what done do you guys
get done tbd?

Speaker 1 (02:05):
And until you're in our lives, you don't you think
we're just making that up. Yeah, but when we went
on my bachelor party, they were wanting us to go
to the airport. Dodd was there. This is a random reference,
but he was drinking at the airport. He's like, why
can't you guys not just come and drink at the airport?
And I was like, Dodd, you don't understand. We work
right up until anything that's going on, So I wish

(02:27):
we could just go to the airport and drink. We
got in the vehicle with Johan and his then wife
Ali as we're going to the airport. We drink those
Smeiranoffs in the parking lot at the airport.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
And the bad part about those Smeiroffs is they were warm.
They weren't even cold like they gave us. They iced us,
but it was warm ice like. It was very strange.
It should have been melted. So sure, some of our
life is rushed. And so yeah, people with appointments and lunches.
I'll just tell Richard and Lewis, maybe they get to
the restaurant at ten and expect us by two. I

(03:00):
think that should work. Because last week the plumber was
coming by the house and my wife had a doctor's appointment.
She was like, hey, they said they'd be there between
twelve thirty and one thirty. That's fine, right, And I'm like,
oh yeah, plenty of time. My wife beat me home.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Oh boy, so the plumber just no, no, no.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Luckily the plumber got there at one fifteen. When she
was she got home at one oh five, she was like,
I'm glad I didn't stop and pick up lunch or anything,
because I got I came straight home and plumber got
here right after I.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Did you think our windows are ridiculous? Plumbers and cable guys,
windows are absurd.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
We'll be there between ten and ten. What twelve hour window? Yeah,
just sit there all freaking day.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Apartment complexes two. Sometimes they'd pull into another part of
the apartment complex, but it's still same window. But it's
an all day slot.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Really. I mean, it's been a while since I've lived
in an apartment, so I don't really remember those days.
I thought the maintenance man came whenever you wanted.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
We'd have people call us at the Telecommunications Grande because
I did cable phone and internet, and I'd have to
just make up excuses because the window was twelve hours,
and so I'd say, you never know, just with their
workload and just how the Excel spreadsheet goes depending if
we were able to zero in and give you that time.
I wish we could. I wish our system was that sophisticated.

(04:22):
Bro I would just give them vocabulary services for the
next minute. I had no idea why it was a
twelve hour window and why we couldn't narrow it down.
And I'd say, ma'am, sometimes they don't know if it's
a full connect. There could be issues with the wires
and the walls. Sometimes they have to really just get
in there and tear the ass out of something. They
just don't know time wise, and they can't really estimate that.
So that is really why we have the window traffic

(04:45):
as well as weather conditions stuff like that. I wish
I could pull those calls. That's what they told us
to say, just say just.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
Don't know, just ramble on and on and give excuse
after this and like, I don't know what this guy's saying,
Like what all right? Must must be really important? All
those words he just said.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
We did take a class on it. But and so
some of it is like some of the chords are outdated.
Some of them they don't necessarily know how many plugs
there are in a house, So if they have to
create a whole new plug, that could take thirty minutes
things like that. But I can't explain twelve hours.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
I can't either. That's a really weird one.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
They're lunch sometimes just with the with the internet and
the cable sometimes they've just got to make sure that
those are all good and you know, a difficulty getting
in buildings.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Also that you know, just depending on the link of
their other job, we can't predict how long it's going
to take them at job number one. So job number
one could take five hours, so then therefore then they
would be a little bit later getting to your job.
So that's why we have to say that a little
bit is your you're number two on the schedule, but
job one maybe a bigger job than we realize.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
And we want them to get in as many jobs
as possible so that they can get to you. So
last thing we would want is it just because of scheduling,
have one of them just sitting in a parking lot
and not actually connecting a cable. So we want them
to get as many cable outlets connected as possible, and
so that's why it's that wide open range. Oh man, dude,

(06:23):
I miss those days Mondays, that's when we get all
our calls UFC people.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Oh I don't miss those days, man, I don't. I
mean the parking lot at Sam's Club was great, Like,
it was fun. I loved it. But what I say
I miss it. I wouldn't say that.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Well, Monday was upsell time because people would call in
and say, oh, man, I was watching UFC this weekend.
It freaking interrupted the first thirty minutes, then the main event,
it was down for twenty minutes. Bro. I would credit
them and I'd be like, you know what, We're also
going to put HBO on your account and Sendemax and Stars.
You just got to make sure you call back in
three months. You're gonna get hit like thirty dollars worth

(06:56):
of charges. So I would upsell them all.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
That's pretty good.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
But people were people were good. They ended up getting
a pretty good portion of the UFC. If they complained
a lot, then they were under review. But you could
complain a decent amount of times and get semi refunds.
If it was ever glitches, I would imagine some were
made up. But I mean now with Netflix, dude, some
of those fights around there, god glitch heaven.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
I mean, it's just one big glitch.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
So I can understand that those are real.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
Make You know what I miss, it's the UFC, Like
I haven't watched. I have not watched very much UFC.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
Well they need that, is it? The Patty guy?

Speaker 2 (07:35):
Yeah, Patty Pimenington. I hate that guy.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
Well, they need something like that. They got Sugar, Yeah,
he's good.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
He's fun.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
But losing McGregor and losing the Bones Jones, they need
the new.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
G Yeah, they need somebody. And it's just they have
so many events that I can't keep up with it.
Like it used to be like once a month maybe
they would have a pay per view. Now I feel
like it's two times a month. They have fight nights
every weekend. So there's the fighters that are coming and
going so fast, and with kids, you're just so busy
and by the time you sit down, it's like, oh
it's eight thirty, eight forty five. Now I really want

(08:09):
to tune in. The main event is gonna be at
twelve thirty at night. Oh man, that's tough for me
to keep my eyes open. Think I'm gonna go ahead
and go to bed.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Fell asleep. Didn't end up watching Menory. He fought this weekend.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
Do what he fought again? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (08:21):
If twenty seconds counts, he fell down, he faked a fall,
and then the guy punched him in the ribs while
he's on the ground. So then Bob gets five minutes
of a timeout to rest, and then the guy said,
you can continue on or it can just be a
no contest. So it was a twenty second boxing match
no contest.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
Who did he fight?

Speaker 1 (08:42):
Some streamer influencer. I don't know, the dude YK or something,
but Menory had gotten a tattoo for some gambling site
on his back. Really, and so all you can see
is Bob out of shape, gained a bunch of weight,
and he's got this green Gotham tattoo on his back
so for some gambling site that he got paid out on.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
Oh, he's falling on hard times.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
People were like, the commenters were great. They're like, man,
Bob looks like a bull of corn flakes.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
I don't know. I mean, these boxing matches are so stupid,
like the fact that people watch them. I don't even
where where did you watch it? Netflix?

Speaker 1 (09:23):
That was the project I gave my chick. I said, hey,
I gave her a ride on Friday. So I said, hey,
all you gotta do is find a way for me
to watch this fight. I don't know how to watch it.
I think she went on YouTube.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
The hell do you mean? You gave her a ride
on Friday?

Speaker 1 (09:36):
I took her an hour south of town to some
girls dinner and basically was homeless in a Walmart parking
lot until she was done with the girl's dinner because
she's not great at driving at night. So you drove
her to the dinner and you were not invited to
the dinner and it was just a girl's dinner.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Wow, okay.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
When ate by myself, where'd you go eat?

Speaker 2 (09:56):
Man?

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Culver's?

Speaker 2 (09:57):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (09:58):
Then went to Walmart?

Speaker 2 (09:59):
And then what'd you get at Walmart?

Speaker 1 (10:01):
Nothing? Just you ever just gone into a store aimlessly?

Speaker 2 (10:07):
I can't say that.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
I do that very often and get looked at by
people like you're about to rob the place, but you're
really not. You're just trying to kill time.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
You ever thought about just pulling up in the parking lot,
laying down, taking a nap in your car?

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Oh? I chilled. There was still other minutes that weren't
accounted for. I thought, Wow, I didn't know it was
gonna be a two and a half hour girls dinner.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
That's what I get in the back seat and I
just go to sleep.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
It wasn't a sleeping type situation. It wasn't exhausted, and
it wasn't necessarily night night out.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
So it doesn't matter I doing that. Like when I
used to have remote like appearances, like out on six
twenty and you know, the traffic is gonna be bad
in Austin, and you gotta get there by four o'clock,
and I'd leave and i'd get there and it'd be
two thirty, two forty five. I'd jump in the back
seat pass out for forty five minutes. Manoh, no problem,

(10:59):
care of the day. I didn't care what time it was.
I looked like an unhoused person living in my car,
and I loved every minute of it.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
I can do that. I'm not saying I can't do that,
but at that time, in that city, at that moment,
I just didn't feel like sleeping.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
And also I was kind of on call. I didn't
necessarily know when she was going to be done. And
how many girls went to dinner fifteen? Was it a
bachelorette party, girl's birthday dinner?

Speaker 2 (11:28):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Yeah? Wow? So then I said, hey, find the fight
for me, because I don't know how to find it.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
When you say our south of town, I mean our
south of where you live, or where Nashville.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
Is from where I am to this girl's birthday party.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
It was an hour okay, so it's just downtown Nashville.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
No, south of Nashville.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
It was a joke.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
It was in Franklin, Oh. So through traffic back, through traffic,
rush hour. I got some bonus points, brownie points.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Man, Well, we better start the Show's that sounds like
a hell of a Friday night? Or was that Saturday?

Speaker 1 (12:05):
That was Friday night?

Speaker 2 (12:07):
Man?

Speaker 1 (12:08):
All accounted for?

Speaker 2 (12:10):
All right, man, I had a hell of a Saturday night.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Let's jump to that.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
I can't wait to tell you. We're gonna do it live.
Oh the one, two sore losers? What up, everybody? I
am lunchbox. I know the most about sports, so I
give you the sports facts, my sports opinions, because I'm
pretty much a sports genius.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
Y'all. It is Susan. I'm from the North. I'm in
Alpha Male. I live on the north side of Nashville.
As you just heard with Baser. My wife two acres,
got two kids at Vanderbilt. Justin should be checking on
them probably die of a heart attack. When I'm seventy two, coach,
I can't wait to hear about this Saturday night you
speak of. I know Boomer no longers home. Boomer's at college.

(12:53):
There has been some pictures surface on Instagram of Boomer
at college, the kids out, the nest is empty. Wow,
well there's still another egg there called Henny the baby.
But Boomer's gone.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
That's wild. Yeah, that is wild. And I gave a
shout out to my cousin on Friday and said he
was up in Portland running some race where it's like
a three hundred mile race and you have eleven guys
in a van. That race is coming up this coming weekend.
I was a weekend early, so I can't I don't
have the results. I don't know if they won because
he hasn't done it yet. I texted him yesterday. I

(13:29):
was like, dude, how'd the run go? How you feeling?
He goes, well, it's five days away. You feel pretty
good and I'm my own He goes, I heard it
on the pod. Didn't have the hard to tell you
that it was next weekend. I didn't want to correct you.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
He's like putting the nipple cream on now.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
Yeah. So Saturday night, Man Nashville c was in town.
They were playing the Columbus Crew, and I know no
one cares about soccer? Who cares? Just stick with me
on the story, okay, because we're going to go somewhere
that's really fun. And it makes me love kids even
more than I love kids right now because kids are
wreaking hilarious. So I have my first fantasy football draft

(14:04):
at six thirty. Only problem is for ours, No, no,
for a different league, And it's not really part of
the story, but it is part of the story. But
the game is at seven thirty. So at six thirty
we are eating dinner at the house. My wife made
some tacos and we're eating and at six thirty seven,
I get a text from the commission. Where are you?

(14:26):
What are you doing? The draft is happening, and I said, hey, man,
I got plans with the boys tonight. We're going to
see the National soccer game. Sorry, I couldn't make the draft.
He goes, why didn't you tell me we could have
switched the draft?

Speaker 1 (14:39):
Whose league is this?

Speaker 2 (14:41):
High school? Buddies?

Speaker 1 (14:43):
Still still what? At some point you got to move on?
I had I had my college fantasy football too, but
I don't know. Year one out of college, we all
gave up on it.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
Yeah, I'm sorry, just trying to keep in touch with people.
It's kind of a way to you know, hey, how's
it been. How you doing? And we talked during fantasy
football season and maybe text every once in a while
throughout the year about something. But yes, it's just a
way to keep in touch.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
Were you still hang out with those dudes like Garrett
and Forrest and on them are from high school?

Speaker 2 (15:15):
Yeah? Oh well Forrest Forrest aka Chess Day is from
really fifth grade? Fourth grade?

Speaker 1 (15:24):
What old Garrett Garrett was high school? Okay, I guess
I thought they were post graduation.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
No, Garrett high school, Jacob high school.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
So then that makes sense he'd be in a fantasy
league with them.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
I rd it all right, So I'm like, oh, sorry, man,
I can't. I'm going to the game with the boys.
He's like, I really wish you would have told me
because we could have moved the draft. I said, no, no, no,
I have a new philosophy in life, and my new
philosophy is whatever the commissioner sends out a draft date, like,
and you want to he wants feedback. I give no feedback.

(16:01):
I am automatically okay with whatever draft day you pick.
If I can make it, I'll make it. If not,
guess what my computer will draft for me. I'm not worried.
I wanted to be able to draft. The most fun
part of the season is usually the draft. Using your brain,
trying to, you know, pick the right players who you
think is gonna be good is awesome. But you know what,

(16:24):
I've decided, I'm not gonna inconvenience eleven other people if
they can all make it on a certain day and
I'm the one that can't, I'm good man. I'm not
gonna speak up. So the Commission's like, well, I just
wish you would have been honest with me, and I'm like, ah, man,
I was good. I'm not mad. I trust me like

(16:45):
I could have. But I'm not one to rock the boat.
You're having to get together at your house like people
are over there, you're grilling. I'm not gonna screw that
up and say, hey, guys, actually a Saturday is not good.
Can we do it on a Monday night? I'm not
like that.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
What city is the get together?

Speaker 2 (16:59):
Austin?

Speaker 1 (17:00):
That makes sense? Then they're all over there doing it together.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
Correct, drinking some Bruce Ki's like, I'm I can't make that,
but I can't make it online either. See you guys,
do you and my team will show up in my
computer and I'll work with it.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
Oh great, I got Kim Ward.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
No, actually I got Kayleb Williams and bow Knicks. My
team is stacked. I'm ready marching to the championship.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
You start two quarterbacks, no, you only start one.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
But I got one on my bench.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
Just in case you're like, justin, he's got three quarterbacks
picked for us. I'm like, one starts.

Speaker 2 (17:32):
Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
What are we doing?

Speaker 2 (17:34):
That's a great point. I only have I only need one,
but I got two. And I saw bow Knicks. I
was like, heck yeah. And then I saw Kayleb Williams.
I was like, oh man, I'm loaded, but I can
only use one of them. Now that you point that out,
one of them won't be on the bench. But that's okay.

Speaker 1 (17:49):
Start September ninth and we will just.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
Go by the matchup each week. So then we get
in the car and we got to go to the
NFC game. We're driving to the game, driving and baby
boxes like, Dad, Dad, Columbus, how good are Where are
they at in the standings?

Speaker 1 (18:06):
Is that who we played?

Speaker 2 (18:07):
Yeah, Columbus Crew and we're in first place. I said, oh, dude,
they're like third from the bottom. Man, They're like down
there at the end. He goes, so they already know
they're going to lose tonight, right, And I'm like, well, no,
and what do you mean? He goes, Well, if they're
that bad, they see that we're in first place, they
already know that they're going to lose tonight. True, I said, whoa, whoa, whoa.

(18:29):
I said no, I said, son, if you're in a competition,
you never go in the mindset you're going to lose,
or else you will lose. If you go in defeated,
you will be defeated.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
So you turned it into a learning lesson.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
I turned it into a learning lesson. I'm like, hey,
you always have to believe you're going to win. If
you don't believe you're going to win, then you might
as well not even show up.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
Hey. Yeah, by the way, you stupid semi. Is it
tough to focus while you're having an in depth conversation
with your kids about motivation and life when you're also
in eight lanes of traffic.

Speaker 2 (19:03):
Oh no, there's not really much traffic. It's not messy
one there. So it was really easy to drive there,
get a parking spot, and get in the stadium. Okay, yeah,
it really wasn't crowded at all. But this is when
we were taking the exit to turn into the like
turn towards the stadium, and I'm like, oh, Bud, you
always believe you're gonna win or else. You're in sports,

(19:23):
you always have a chance. The underdog always surprises people.
He goes, yeah, but they know they're gonna lose, right, I'm.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
Like, heyter love it under dogs on top.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
I'm like, I don't know, man, I don't know. And
so then we get to the game and this is
where it went downhill. I'll tell you about it right
after this.

Speaker 1 (19:43):
What a t ease. So we get in the stadium,
see an ex girlfriend from college?

Speaker 2 (19:51):
No, I didn't see. No, that doesn't really happen here
in Nashville. I don't really see any excess from college
or high school or middle school, none of that. Never
see any of them.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
Gotta be careful. There's been a couple of places I've
ran to.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
Yeah, but you were single when you lived here. I
was never single living here, so I never really had
exes here.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
I told you that one spot, man, I went to
that neighbor's bar. Man girl was a big Bama fan.
I mean, I thought she was wearing an elephant costume.

Speaker 2 (20:16):
Jeez, oh, dude.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
My cousin was one of those where you go sauceryes.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
Hey, my cousin was in town a couple weeks ago,
and we were talking about his wedding because I went
to Georgia for his wedding twenty years ago, twenty I
don't even know how many years ago, twenty five years ago,
and my brother hooked up with one I think the
bride's maids, one of the bride'smaids, and I was like, dude,

(20:42):
how's my brother's girl doing. How's my brother's girl doing.
He goes, oh, let me show you how she's doing.
And he pulled out a picture and I was like,
oh my god, what is that. He was like a
lot of beer and cigarettes, man, really, a lot of
beer and cigarettes.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
One of my acts is a truck driver. Now, no crap, dude.
It was like, wow, like this girl was hot tow
truck driver whoa, yeah, I said that wrong, Bertokey. No,
but same town.

Speaker 2 (21:14):
That's amazing.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
Yeah, huh. Does Bertokey actually drive the tow truck? Yes,
or at least she told me she did, or else.
I was drunk and heard that she did. But that's
kind of their business.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
Yeah. Anyway, So we get in the stadium, we're cheering
it on, and midway through the first half, go Nashville might.
Here we go. The route is on, Here we go.
And then the second half starts and goal Columbus crew. Okay,

(21:51):
well that's all right, that's all right. Here we go,
Here we go. They've had one shot on goal, they
got one goal, and we've had like eight shots on
goal with only one goal. Get the ball, shoots, score
goal Columbus Crew.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
So what I thought?

Speaker 2 (22:05):
Two shots on goal, two goals, okay, and then we
just we're pounding their goal. We can't score. Eighty third minute,
we're down by down two to one, and baby Boy's like,
I don't think we're gonna win. I was like, Bud,
you gotta you gotta believe. You've got ten minutes. We're
gonna score two goals here ten minutes. Then we get

(22:27):
to the ninetieth minute, and he goes, I knew it.
He goes. I said, see, Bud, the underdog, man. You
gotta you gotta understand about the underdog, right, the underdog
always has a chance. We never come in. They didn't
come out here and thinking they were gonna lose tonight.
Then we have six minutes at a time. Get to
the ninety third minute, gone, man, dude, and let me

(22:53):
tell you, we're going crazy, right, going crazy. And look
at my kid, dude, look at him, Look at he's
got his shirt off. He's all hyped up. Man.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
Why has he got the headphones on?

Speaker 2 (23:09):
He thinks the fireworks are a loud but he I
don't know why he likes fireworks. He's just got him on.
But he's cheering and got his shirt off. Whoa ye
at him? And then we're like, oh my gosh, that's crazy.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
We're a soccer town.

Speaker 2 (23:27):
A minute and a half later, ninety fourth minute, gone
nash Man, three to two. We win three to two.
After the craziness, we scored two goals in three minutes
of extra time to win the game. Unbelievable. Saturday night.

Speaker 1 (23:49):
We want cup.

Speaker 2 (23:50):
We walk cup. We walked up and then we're walking
to the car, and this is where I love kids
right home. Nah, not even a homeless guy. Someone leaving
the stadium.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
It's not a homeless part of town.

Speaker 2 (24:04):
Not really a homeless part of town because there's not
much traffic there unless you're going to the stadium. That's it.
But there's a guy vomiting his brains.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
Out, so it attracts the college crowd.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
And then he goes another fifteen feet ba pukes again. Gross,
and my kids are like, oh, throw up, watch out,
there's throw up. Don't step in it. Don't step in it.
They this guy and then they look down and they
see some m and ms and some Smarties on the
ground and they started to bend ow where to pick

(24:39):
it up. And I'm like, no, no, no, no no,
And they're like, oh no, no, Dad, I think he
had too much candy. That's why he's throwing up. There's
they're smarties right here. Yeah, the TUTSI roll got him.
I was like, that's it, boys, he ate too much candy.
And that's what in my oldest goes Dad, That's why

(25:00):
I don't eat that much candy because I don't want
to end up throwing up like that guy.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
Candy overdose and that was my Saturday night Nashville.

Speaker 2 (25:12):
Let's see with an incredible freaking come from behind wind.
And then my kids thinking the dudes yacking his brains
out because he had too much candy.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
They're not gonna realize that one until middle school, high school.

Speaker 2 (25:26):
They're gonna go, Dad, remember the time we're that NFC game.
That guy didn't get sick on candy, did he? You're right, son,
he did not.

Speaker 1 (25:33):
They won't even remember the game. Don't remember that guy.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
Don't remember the guy, don't remember him yacking blah and
then fifteen feet later blah again.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
Man, it's been a while since I've done that. He
I mean, he must have been doing shooters before the game.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
He must have been going hard. I mean at a
like to go like.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
I mean, I've done that before in a Vegas or
I mean maybe if you want to throw in my
bed acheler party, did we do a little hard stuff maybe.
I mean, it has been a minute since I've done
in public.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
I mean that's what I have never.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
I mean, I've woken up in the morning in the
past couple of years. I don't feel great. I'm gonna
go the bathroom. But in public, I mean that might
be fifteen years ago in public.

Speaker 2 (26:26):
I will say this, and I mean, I'm not gonna
toot my own horner anything.

Speaker 1 (26:31):
It was okay, yep, it was when I lived on
the West Side, Okay, seven years ago. But I on
a park bench.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
I might have puked four times my whole life from
drinking in public. I never, and I mean never did
it in public. Never. I have never just vomited right
there on the street. I have never been. I mean,
I have drinken gallons, I feel like the bars, and

(27:01):
I have never just vombited all over the ground. Never.

Speaker 1 (27:05):
That guy must have had so many shots, That's what
I mean. And this isn't like a football game where
you're tailgating. This is just a soccer game on a
Saturday when we're playing the third to last place team.
Not even a messy game where the hype is crazy
and it's sold out, the place is rocking. I mean,
that was ninety percent empty the stadium. And to be

(27:28):
that hammered, super impressive. Bro Okay four years ago, Gatlinburg.
But it's because they gave me a zin while I
was also drinking. So I've been corrected. Not seven years ago,
park bench four years ago with the Bears.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
Yeah, I mean I don't And the public thing, I'm
just like, that's crazy, gee.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
Because also, I mean there was another time, maybe twenty
years ago with South Beach. I don't do tequila and
we did it in public at a bar and I
felt it and I started walking through the bar trying
to find a trash can so that the girls we
were with and see that, I got sick. You hit
the trash can, Hit the trash can. You just keep
moving so you don't get kicked out of the bar.
As long as you do it, and you're flying, you're

(28:09):
moving a bouncerin and to come walk after you.

Speaker 2 (28:11):
Right. I mean there's like a couple times like if
I'll take a shot and the shot tastes terrible and
I'm like, all right, I need to get this out.
I'll run to the bathroom real quick and real quick.
I've done that a couple of times, but never where
I've just had to grab a trash can and go
blah right there.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
Man, I mean, maybe they're doing some sort of binge
drinking at is there a bucket of beer that there's
a deal.

Speaker 2 (28:35):
I don't know him man, A grown man, a sick.
He was grown. Hey, he was grown. He was probably thirties.

Speaker 1 (28:43):
After a family type sporting event, the smarties in M
and M's really caught up to him.

Speaker 2 (28:50):
Man, that was my Saturday night. Man, I don't know
how you get better than that. That is a Saturday
night when you have three kids.

Speaker 1 (28:59):
You guys want to get some ice cream?

Speaker 2 (29:03):
Well, dad, is it gonna make me sick like that? Guy? No? Man,
you're good to go. Don't worry about it. Oh man,
we'll take a break. We'll be right back now. You
know what we need to do. Because Beka's division, they
are drafting this Sunday.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
When do I schedule mine?

Speaker 2 (29:25):
Right now? You can tell me when you want your
draft right now. It's scheduled for the Tuesday before the
season starts, the night before game one.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
Oh that's fine. Then otherwise it's like whatever eleven people
are agree on, I'm fine with it. I'm gonna just
do you what everybody what you agree.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
You're the commissioner of your division, so you get to
decide on it, and they have to wrap their schedule
around what you want to do.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
It'll definitely be a night and it's not gonna be
late and it's not gonna be around my birthday. But
season starts. What is it September ninth?

Speaker 2 (29:58):
I thought I saw yeah something like that.

Speaker 1 (30:00):
Okay, we got time.

Speaker 2 (30:01):
Yeah, I think it's September eighth. Is when you're gonna do?
Is that's what I'm doing? Mine is that Tuesday?

Speaker 1 (30:06):
Perfect.

Speaker 2 (30:07):
I think yours is at like eight Central maybe seventh Central.

Speaker 1 (30:13):
For not having a calendar that week, we already have
a meeting with our people about the convention. And oh,
I'm also gonna have a draft. I don't keep a calendar.
I'm booked that week. If there's one more thing, I'm
bound to forget it.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
Let me see what it says right now about your
division draft time start date right now for Ray's White
Pigot events, Tuesday September eighth at eight pm Easter and
that's seven pm Central, seventh Central. The Bega Ballers is
this Sunday, August thirtieth, at nine pm Eastern. All the

(30:52):
times on the website or Eastern. So if you are
paying attention, you're in the league. And then Batter's Box
and I are both. Oh no, Batter's Box is eight
pm Eastern on the eighth, and I am nine PM
Eastern on the eighth. There you go. It's set. So

(31:12):
we got a draw for draft position for Vegas Division. Dude,
right now, right freaking now, because his draft is on Sunday.
We're running out of time.

Speaker 1 (31:23):
Why don't you just do it and post it on Facebook.

Speaker 2 (31:26):
That'd be great, But people want to hear their name called,
and they want to hear what position they are in.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
Dude, as we were being cocky, I may have drank
my drink a little too fast. I almost felt like
vomiting as I was talking about, Oh my.

Speaker 2 (31:36):
Gosh, here we go. We just spun it. And the
first person up is Justin Schlooter. Now we are gonna
we're gonna take him off and let's spin. Let's see
what position Justin Schlooter has Draft pick number eight. You
can definitely get Tony Romo at that place, at that spot.

Speaker 1 (31:58):
I hope he comes back and call some games. Now
we all of a sudden, oh, Bega is the next person.

Speaker 2 (32:03):
Yeah, all of a sudden, Romo's just gone.

Speaker 1 (32:05):
Well, and all of a sudden we have what who
was fine?

Speaker 2 (32:08):
Oh god?

Speaker 1 (32:08):
He gets all the prime game?

Speaker 2 (32:10):
Can we not have what?

Speaker 1 (32:12):
He's fine?

Speaker 2 (32:13):
Bega? You will be drafting number twelve, and Bega wanted
to correct you that everybody from your division does not lose.
He was in your division last year, he said, and
he won it all.

Speaker 1 (32:24):
Yeah, after we get out, we don't follow it.

Speaker 2 (32:27):
Yeah, we don't google Jacob Russell. Here we go, we're
about to spend to find out what position you have.
Jacob Russell has number wa. Jacob Russell will be drafting
number one overall? Wow? Oh wow? Is he going to

(32:50):
take Jim t r Chase gen T or gend.

Speaker 1 (32:55):
There was a league a guy picked gen t one.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
I saw the video. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
I mean, he's definitely a late first. He's just not
number one. It's why that video was out.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
Hey. Next up is kiv Kieva Edwards. He emailed me
trying to tell me how to Keeva. I think as
he said, but let's go ahead and spend where Kieva
will be drafting Kiva number three. Congrats to Kiva. Man,

(33:29):
you do anything else this weekend?

Speaker 1 (33:31):
What are you trying to do? Filibuster while you're wheeling it?

Speaker 2 (33:33):
Yeah, Christian mcnuttney McNulty man, we had a lot going on, man, babybox,
Oh he's number ten. Christian McNaulty, you are number ten,
number ten? Uh Saturday morning, dude, or I guess Friday,
we went to the pool, shut down the pool, and

(33:54):
for some reason, we had mini drumsticks that you get
at the store, and the kids decided instead of eating them,
they rubbed them all over their face and their bodies.
So they were monsters ice cream ice cream, so they
had chocolate and vanilla ice cream all over their faces
and chests running around. Ah, we are monsters. And the

(34:16):
pool was closed when they were eating them, so they
were just gross running around the grass, and we had
to go home and take showers. And that's when we
got a text from baby Box to his buddy and
his class moved into our neighborhood and they were like, hey,
can he come over for a playdate tomorrow morning nine am?
And We're like, yeah, no problem. And I thought he'd

(34:37):
be over there for like an hour or two. Dude
was over there for four hours.

Speaker 1 (34:40):
She had five kids.

Speaker 2 (34:42):
No, no, he was over at his buddy's house for four hours.

Speaker 1 (34:44):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (34:45):
Then they came home, he came home, had lunch, and
they went to another playdate.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
Oh, excuse to be exhausted at school today.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
Dude, they are going to be dead. And then yesterday
morning we had another playdate. We had two dudes come
over to our house.

Speaker 1 (34:59):
Kids were dads.

Speaker 2 (35:00):
I know kids, two kids are brothers. They came over
with their mom and dad was working.

Speaker 1 (35:06):
I was gonna say dad working on a Sunday, but
also forced conversation with two adults. I'll take the kids
any day. They can all run around.

Speaker 2 (35:13):
Yeah. Uh, Mikey wagoneer, Mikey wagoneer, let's see where you're at.
And it was a it was a busy, busy day.
And then oh he Mikey wagoneer, you're number four, number four.
Then baby Box one had a birthday party yesterday afternoon. Man,
oh dude, it was just crazy weekend. You were slotted, slotted,

(35:34):
and we were busy, busy, busy. I talked to my
mom last night and she said, do you guys ever
just do nothing?

Speaker 1 (35:42):
I would say it started out as nothing, but then
you got filled up.

Speaker 2 (35:46):
That's what I'm saying. I was like, what do you mean?
She was like, well, uh, Skyler digs, skylard digs. Let's
see what number. I was like, she goes, do you
ever just sit around and let them just come up
with games on their own. Number nine for Skyler digs number.

Speaker 3 (36:01):
Nine kid, one of the best games you can ever play,
Spin the bottle.

Speaker 2 (36:06):
No, no, we don't teach him that. And I was like, yeah,
they were playing dog earlier where they were attaching the
least to each other and they were walking their dog.

Speaker 1 (36:16):
Oh, that's politically incorrect.

Speaker 2 (36:18):
Trey Clatt, Trey Clatt, let's see where you're at. What
do you mean politically incorrect? Six?

Speaker 1 (36:25):
Number six for Trey Clatt. You should never tell a
child that he's a dog. Every man is created equal.
You know what's crazy? Trey Clatt was the sixth person
drawn in that division and he got number six on
the original draw. Uh what else?

Speaker 2 (36:43):
And I didn't watch any sports, Jacob, No, I already
did him. Yeah, you already got the number one pick.
What are you talking about? All right, here we go,
I see Michael Gardiner, Michael Gardiner, let's see what you
get and.

Speaker 1 (37:00):
See how this is getting a little disorganized. I mean,
the sheet of paper you're on has check marks and
crossed out and numbers and it's ineligible.

Speaker 2 (37:11):
Well, Mickey waggoneer, Michael Gardner, the I mean looking the same,
but Michael uh Gardner. You're number seven, number seven, So
left on the sheet Chad Sutton, this DJ and Teddy
Duran draft picks still available, two five and eleven, two,
five and eleven. Here we go and it is Chad Sutton.
We will remove him and you are number five. Chad

(37:37):
Sutton is number five. Dangs, someone's about to get number two.
Is it gonna be Teddy Duran or this DJ? We
spin the wheel where it lands. We don't know. This
DJ is up, This DJ is up? We spin it.
This DJ gets number two two, So we will spin

(38:00):
it and let's see if Teddy Durand's name comes up.
It does Teddy Duran, Let's see what number he gets
with number eleven being left, I'll see if it lands
on eleven. Congrats Teddy Duran. You are number eleven, the
eleventh pick. That is the Bega Division drafting this Sunday.
This Sunday, there's still people that haven't even logged into

(38:21):
their franchise.

Speaker 1 (38:22):
Well, I gotta teach you how to do Excel spreadsheets.

Speaker 2 (38:25):
What do you mean?

Speaker 1 (38:25):
It's so much cleaner and it's easy. You just pull
up a spreadsheet. You'd put the names in their numbers
instead of what you're going on right now with.

Speaker 2 (38:33):
Dude, do you understand I've almost lost these sheets three time.
Look at how crumpled they are. They were buried under stump.
I mean I was like, man, I hope I didn't
lose it. And what are they even?

Speaker 1 (38:42):
Show notes from the Big Show?

Speaker 2 (38:44):
No, there's no Big Show notes. These are all drafts.
What's on the other side, though, uh Amy's it was
an Amy paper ten things that you are the fattest.
I have no idea where I got this.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
Do you use her scrap papers from the Big Show?

Speaker 2 (39:04):
Yeah? Man, that's what I do. I mean, this is
my life. This is how I live my life. Does
this stress you out? No?

Speaker 1 (39:11):
It doesn't stress me out. But what does stress me?
As I told you, I don't keep a calendar, and
now that you've booked me with our draft? My birthday
is that previous weekend? And what else was that weekend?
The NFL starting? And then there's also our meeting. I
can't have any more without a calendar. I'm gonna forget something.

Speaker 2 (39:29):
Wait, is your birthday this coming weekend? No?

Speaker 1 (39:31):
A couple of weekends, but.

Speaker 2 (39:32):
Wait, your birthday's the twenty eighth.

Speaker 1 (39:34):
No, it's not.

Speaker 2 (39:35):
But what is your birthday?

Speaker 1 (39:38):
Well, we're gonna everybody will be floating around with the holidays,
so I'm not worried about getting it.

Speaker 2 (39:43):
Tell me your birthday September fifth. Oh, I'm drunk. Why
do I think it was August?

Speaker 1 (39:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (39:50):
Man, I'm a bad friend. All right, this show sucked.

Speaker 1 (39:53):
Sorry, this is not getting replayed with a drawing in
it because I don't even think the people in that
day vision we're interested in listening to that, much less
the rest of the league, much less the whole nation
of podcast listeners.

Speaker 2 (40:11):
Well, I have to do it on the up and up.
You have to do it on the mic or else.
People don't know it's real. They think you could be cheating,
and I don't want to have that reputation. All right,
have a good Monday. Tell us what we can do better.
Email us. We are the sore losers at gmail dot com.

Speaker 1 (40:28):
And if we're not going to replay, it can just
be bad. You can. You can leave a podcast as bad,
even though it won't be as bad as this other
podcast I listened to. You guys can look it up.
It's La La Canton Sally Carson. They're from Vanderpump Rules
and Southern charm or was she Southern hospitality? I want
to say charm, Southern charm. I was like, oh, I'll

(40:49):
listen in. Well, little did I know it had a top.
Their podcast is like the sex podcast. Oh so I
thought that was just the title. That's at literally their podcast,
that's all it's about. Oh, but here's how the one
girl it was terrible, But here's why. The one girl
talks on the mic.

Speaker 3 (41:05):
Yeah, so yeah, I always want a guy to just
take me down. It's all about if he's if he's
like sometimes with guys, it's just like if it's a
guy like so, so say there's a guy like one
guy you want to take you down, but then another guy,
if he's attractive, he's I still don't want him to
take me down.

Speaker 1 (41:23):
Like she doesn't a nunc eight and she's whispering and
I don't even think she's close to on Mike and
the other girl a lot like hn, it's pretty good.
She tries to bring it back around. She's like, Okay,
so what type of guy are you into? Well, I mean, like,
I just want a guy to take me down. He
was so bad at least our podcast won't be as

(41:46):
bad as theirs, oh man, And he said, oh, and
not that I care in all, because everybody messes up
my name.

Speaker 2 (41:53):
It's pronounced key vah. That's from Kiva Edwards. All right, man,
sorry Kiva I am. I am not an English major
and I do mess up names quite often, so my apologies.
All right.

Speaker 3 (42:06):
We out, Yeah, with condoms, you can get like you
always want to wear condoms just because you can get
like latex, Like, I just feel like, got to take
me down.

Speaker 2 (42:19):
Dude, that's so opposite of mine. I forgot to tell
you the baby box too. He lost his tooth at
the soccer game.

Speaker 1 (42:25):
I saw, I saw.

Speaker 2 (42:26):
Well he was. He was sitting. He was like, I
gotta lose tooth. I was like, all right, cool, he's
I'm able to pull it out right here. I was like, no,
you're not. And he just sit there and and yanked
it right out.

Speaker 1 (42:37):
At the soccer game inspired the comeback, and.

Speaker 2 (42:39):
Then he was like, Dad, do you have a napkin
because I'm bleeding? So I had to run up and
get some pair of towels because he was bleeding, or
some napkins whatever they had. I was like, I got
a bleeder over there, like, do you need first eight?
I was like, no, no, he just pulled his tooth out.

Speaker 1 (42:51):
Let me get a little bit of that for my
hot dog. What that's not ketchup?

Speaker 2 (43:00):
Man? That was a terrible show.

Speaker 1 (43:02):
Right now, How did you leave that out of the story.

Speaker 2 (43:05):
I just remembered right now, I don't know, dude. So
then he was sitting there playing with his tooth the
whole time, like, Dad, look at this, sticking his tongue
through the hole. He's like, and he's doing water too.
He's like, I can drink right through it. Dude.

Speaker 1 (43:18):
No wonder we lost. Fans need to lie. We won,
lost a majority of the game.

Speaker 2 (43:23):
But then oh yeah, yeah, but he yeah, he was
too worried about his tooth. And so then his best
friend facetimed yesterday and she has a loose tooth and
she was nervous to pull it out, and he told
her just come by the house, I'll pull it out.

Speaker 1 (43:38):
And they were still in your grundies.

Speaker 2 (43:39):
They were supposed to pull up, but they never pulled up.
I don't know what happened. They were gonna go to
Costco then stop buying. My son was gonna pull out
her tooth. Never happened.

Speaker 1 (43:47):
Yeah, yeah, all right, maybe it's school today.

Speaker 2 (43:50):
Maybe they go to different schools, so.

Speaker 1 (43:53):
Our listeners didn't know that.

Speaker 2 (43:54):
Well, I got to tell you the truth.

Speaker 1 (43:55):
